We'd had multiple plumbing issues going back for over two years. Our washing machine drain was backing up causing water to flood our utility room and kitchen (sometimes the kitchen sink would fill with awful-smelling water - and when this would happen the pipes beneath the kitchen sink would leak because they were not cut and joined properly). Our kitchen sink and dishwasher smelled horrible all the time. Our sprinkler heads would not come up at all and it took nearly 10 minutes to fill a bathtub.The city said the problems were on our side. Our sprinkler guy said the sprinklers were functioning just fine and that the problem was upstream from the sprinkler system).We've had plumbers come out to try and diagnose the problems - but we were never very confident that their solutions would resolve things.. One company wanted to dig up the yard to replace piping from the city to the house! Nobody seemed to know what to do.We called CK and they sent out Eli. He correctly guessed that our outgoing water drain (past where the washing machine and kitchen pipes join together) was partially-clogged. First thing he did was to snake the pipes from the kitchen to past the washing machine join. No more water backing up! Then he provided brand-new piping using chrome piping under the sink to prevent any further leaks IF it backed up again. It looks fantastic, much better than before.With those problems fixed they sent Gabriel Contreras to evaluate the low water flow.Gabriel took apart the PRV and attached our neighbors water hose (we asked first!) to backflush water from our house to the street to see what was causing the problem. Nothing. Then he used a co2 bottle to push what may be causing problem. Still nothing. He kept using water and co2 - all that came out was a little bit of scale. This gave him high confidence that the problem was on the city side, not ours and recommended that we ask the city to do a volume flow test.:Gabe didn't fix the problem but he correctly identified that the issue was on the city side and they would need to fix it. So we had the city come out, told them what CK had determined and waited for them to complete their tests at the street level...what do you know, they admitted that the issue was not only on their side but causing flow/volume issues for our neighbor as well! Several work trucks later the issue was quickly resolved by the city...we have the souvenir to prove it (a bullhorn with a rock perfectly stuck inside).We would not hesitate to recommend CK to ANYBODY.

They charge an $89 fee to come give you an estimate (which is unusual, but that's their right). But the concerning part is they offered to not charge me if I give them a positive review right there while they watched. That's not just shady, it's actually illegal and they can be fined for that by the FTC. So unfortunately you can't trust their reviews. I paid the $89 fee just so I could leave an honest review.

We had them come in to detect issues with some water leaks. They found them and were able to service us quickly, however they did have to come back after missing one area which left us three additional days without being able to shower. Their prices are really fair.

It seems only logical to declare that Mr. Rooter is the best plumber in Austin. They have the best equipment, the best work ethic, the best response times, and the best prices. I wouldn't recommend calling anyone else if you're in need of a plumber.

WE CALLED MID MORNING ON SATURDAY WITH WATER STANDING IN THE KITCHEN. A PERSON ACTUALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE. ASA WOODLAND CAME OUT AND IDENTIFIED THE PROBLEM. WE WERE SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY AM. ASA ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND WORKED UNTIL 9PM TO LOCATE AND REPAIR THE LEAKS WITHIN THE WALLS. HE WAS ABLE TO GET US WATER FOR MOST OF THE HOME WITHOUT LEAKS. HE RETURNED TODAY AS SCHEDULED AND WORKED EIGHT HOURS TO FINISH UP. THE WORK WAS DONE WITHIN THE BID AND SEEMS TO BE GOOD. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KEPT US UPDATED ON HIS PROGRESS AND ESTIMATED COMPLETION. THE COST SEEM IN LINE WITH OTHER PLUMBING WE HAVE HAD DONE. ASA IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS HE IS COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANS UP WHEN THE JOB IS COMPLETE.

Really got screwed with this one. Thunderbird was great and communicative until things became a hot mess. My house is from the 50s with terrible plumbing. I received multiple repair bids ranging from 5-15k and went with Thunderbird. I did all the repairs they recommended for my house. Unfortunately, when they fixed the initial problem it brought another problem to light- bad drainage. I left 4 voicemails over the course of 2 weeks with no call back. I found an active leak that I can't get them to fix, they were going to come out one day but no show-no called. I've requested warranty information 4 times but nothing. Dealing with bad plumbing is a pain as-is but, it's worse when the person that's supposed to be fixing it goes dark.

Great customer service! They were able to get out within 2 hours of my call this morning. They took the time to explain the situation, problem solve and provide options for solutions. Their price was reasonable and no hard selling. I will absolutely call them again!

I was trying to find a plumber to do a same day washer valve replacement. While everywhere else says Monday, Plumb Master's dispatcher, Jenifer not only get me on the same day also tried to make sure I don't have to pay for after hour surcharge. Jaime came and helped us replacing valves promptly and even gave us a discount!

We have been customers of Plumb-Quick for many years and cannot recommend them highly enough. They have replaced water heaters, unclogged drains and with my recent bathroom renovation they did all the plumbing work. They installed the new bathtub, toilet and re-piped the vanity from a single sink to two. You will not be disappointed in their work. They are fast, responsive and very reasonable. Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.
