ON SECOND THOUGHT: I recently left a negative review about an experience I had with Radiant. To my surprise, Tabatha, customer relations manager with Radiant, contacted me and quickly resolved the issue which caused me to leave the bad review.This was truly a surprise as I had no expectation of a happy outcome when I posted my comment. Thank you, Tabatha, for being so helpful and for your prompt resolution to my problem. I have changed my opinion of Radiant, for the better, because of your superior customer service.VERY DISAPPOINTED! I hired Radiant to replace an old garbage disposal with an identical one which I purchased. It took the technician about 30 minutes to complete the job and the charge was $340! By my calculation, that's an hourly rate of over $600/hr. Ridiculous! My fault for agreeing to the repair, but I won't make that mistake again.

Daniel’s Plumbing representatives failed miserably. Upon arrival of Daniel’s I had already diagnosed the trouble and led their rep straight to the problem. I demonstrated which corrective and preventative measures had already been performed. The entire process took roughly 30 minutes. Their representative advised he could correct the problem but needed to order parts and promised service completion by a certain date. On the date of scheduled service, no call from Daniel’s or their rep. Towards close of business on the following day, I finally received a call informing me the repair required was delayed by at least a week. At this time I requested a refund of my deposit due to their missed commitment and lack of communication. An argument ensued over services provided and Daniel’s demanded a substantial “diagnosis fee” of $249 be deducted from my deposit (about 25%). I escalated to management and received the same argumentative, dismissive attitude. I tried to negotiate a reasonable fee for the time the rep spent, first $75, then $100. Upon hitting a wall, I relented and accepted the charge just to close the matter. I was told at the time my refund would be processed immediately. A couple days later I get a call for Daniel’s indicating they had not processed my refund and were doing so soon. I had paid by ACH, yet they could only refund by paper check. I arranged to pick up the check that day. Upon arrival to get my check, there was no one at the reception area. I was quickly greeted by a large, angry dog that charged me twice. Soon after a Daniel’s rep entered the space, contained the dog, and gave me my check. Daniel’s Plumbing is as unprofessional and lacking in customer service as a company can can get. To cap it off, I contacted a different company and they were able to solve the problem for over $1000 less, including my lost “diagnosis fee”. Learn from my experience. This company does not deserve patronage.

Service tech grant took care of me the same day in less than quoted time and under quoted value. 5 STAR SERVICE!!!!

I had an emergency plumbing situation and within 30 mins I had a crew at my door. Within an hour my issue was fully resolved and it cost much less than I expected. Very kind and helpful staff.

I'll keep this short and sweet: I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Rooter over all other plumbers in Austin. I know that sounds like crazily high praise, but if you worked with them, you'd understand. Their prices are reasonable, they offer highly professional service, and get things done real quick. I give them a big thumbs-up.

These guys are top notch. They Saved me at the buzzer when my mother in law was about 4 hours away from coming into town. They showed up on the fly and their work and customer service was perfect.

She understands what my needs an explain very clearly and accurately I though. Next day Steven and Parkly come for leak detection by pinpoint test 1 st day then come back to fix the leaks. Had an issue with sewage backing up and of course it was after hours. I got a hold of the answering service which immediately had a gentleman by the name of Chris Garbee call me. Talking with him on the phone he was very professional and explained the fees up front and it was going to be expensive since they are located in Austin and i live in Taylor but i was willing to pay, but when i told him my situation he started asking questions and had me check a couple of things ,after telling him what i was looking at he told me that it sounded like an issue on the city side of the sewage line going to the street and said i should call the city first and let them look at it. Sure enough the city came out about 10pm and found the issue with their main line and had my sewage flowing again in about an hour. I cant say enough about Chris and his professionalism, he could have come out and charged me an exceptional amount of money which would have only been fair due to the distance i lived but he did not. Thank you Chris and Johnny Rooter, i will definetly call when i need your service again as well as tell all my friends...thanks, Paul

Unfairly high pricing for the service. Paid their service call fee and sent them packing. Just needed a simple kitchen drain unclogged and they wanted to charge over $320. I bought a $4 bottle of drain cleaner, problem solved. Don’t know how they stay in business while trying to rip people off. They will never be used at my home again and will highly recommend to others they use a different and more honest and fairly priced plumbing service.
