I was dealing with a clogged washer drain and Mr. Plumber was able to get here faster than anyone else. They arrived on time and were able to resolve the issue quicker than expected. Seth K was who came out to the house and he was very helpful. Seth explained everything he was doing and provided tips and recommendations for the future. I have experience dealing with homeowners property claims so I knew he wasn't trying to sell me on services I don't need. I’ve always had a good experience with John Fowler’s Sewer and Drain, their techs are very friendly and up front.My new shower and tub look great. They were able to complete the job in a single day and cleaned up upon completion. My only complaint is they left about and inch or two open drywall above the shower panel when they had to cut into the wall, so now I’ll have to find a way to cover it. Other than, excellent work.

We lost our heating on the coldest night of the winter in December! We woke up on Friday morning 12/23 to minus 10 temperatures and no heat in the house! We called several companies and this company was the one who was able to respond that afternoon. Chad managed to get our furnace restarted but he believed it was running on borrowed time at 20 years old. It failed again the next day. On Christmas eve Chad made another call and brought numerous electric space heaters for us to use until we could get the furnace replaced on Wednesday of the following week. Both Chad and his assistant were very professional, friendly and considerate. Considering how busy they were due to the extreme whether and the timing of the holiday, this company went above and beyond to help us out! Looking at the whole experience including the cost, I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Kitchen Sink Leak - Disposer
All Pro was Landlord Selected - Cannot speak to (monetary) value except that I now have a working kitchen sink disposer. Thanks, Scott. He was punctual; right on time. Courteous. Respectful. Unassuming. Experienced. Analysis was quickly completed and, after a run to obtain a replacement disposer, the trouble was quickly resolved.

The company was very responsive and fixed the problem. However, no estimate or even explanation of the problem was provided prior to the work being performed. The result was getting slapped with a $230 bill for something that was covered under warranty. When I called to office to discuss, a manager agreed this was not how they do business and would work with me. Never heard back from them after that.

In February we had our fireplace on and we smelled gas so we turned off the fireplace and called Mansfield Plumbing (since they were recommended by Godby and that is who installed our fireplace).

On March 3rd, Dalton from Mansfield Plumbing came to the house and tightened 2 nuts inside the fireplace (near where the gas line came into the fireplace). He never checked anything else – not inside or outside, nor did he turn the gas on to check it. He was in our house for a maximum of 5 minutes (no joke). We were sent a bill IMMEDIATELY for $205 from them.

We did not turn on the gas fireplace again for a week or so and still smelled gas, so we called them again. Dalton returned and did some crazy, funky stuff outside. He assumed the gas smell was coming from the key insertion into the house, so he wanted to replace the connector outside. (Keep in mind that was why we originally called them and paid the $200 on March 3rd.) When he replaced the connector he moved it further away from the house (a good 12+ inches). He then came in and told us our key that turns on the fireplace no longer works that WE would have to go find/buy a 12-inch key AND a 12-in extender to be able to reach the new connector to be able to turn on the fireplace?? In the mean time he was going to just turn off the gas, so basically he never tested this new connector to see if it even worked correctly because we had no key to turn it on….. We were sent a bill IMMEDIATELY for $548 from them.

We then went to another plumbing store and bought a key and connector and SURPRISE – it did not work, so we had to call them again….. Another man came to the house (Richard) and now had to redo everything that Dalton did, and move the gas line and connector closer to the house so a normal 12-inch key will reach the turn value without the extender. To fix this problem he also had to replace the pipe coming into our house and made the hole a lot bigger…. Now that it is April, however, we can’t really check the fireplace to see if it works, but at least a key will turn it on…

Now, however, because he had to make the hole where the pipe comes into our house bigger we have to know have (another company) come out and try to fix the gush of air that is now constantly coming into our house from either the pipe or around the pipe and fix the tacky calk that is piled around the pipe on the outside of our house on the brick (tacky)……

We were promised they would “reevaluate” our bills and make it right with us, but that is not true. They made us pay all the originally bills. Bottom line this company got $753 from us and did a TERRIBLE job, and now we have to find someone to come and stop the cold air coming into our house by the pipe and fix the tacky patch job they did around the pipe on the outside of the house on the brick. (Have a picture of this.) So be ware and be prepared to pay a lot of money and probably not have it done correctly.

I moved in with my 80yr old mother about 6months ago after she had a fall, then hip surgery. We bought a condo 3 months ago and was sure that we had left all of home owners issues behind when we downsized. The property we have moved into had been inspected and had few troubles. But after doing some deep cleaning earlier in the day, and using the washer, the dishwasher, toilets, sinks and shower some at the same time, we were shocked when the toilets started overflowing.I was really concerned about the price, and the repair costs to my mom as she is on a fixed income. She knew that there could be minimal or it could cost an arm and a leg. Roto-Rooter sent a man by the name of Kyle to our condo in freaky fast time! I was shocked that he had actually arrived so quickly. Kyle was absolutely the nicest guy and he was patient with all of our questions, he answered everything in a way that we could understand, and he also showed what I have to call compassion to our situation. He never seemed put off by my constant asking, Will that cost more? It was as if he understood the financial situation and he was gentle, patient, and kind in his way of handling us two old crows. At one point, he even explained how there is not a service charge, if he had diagnosed the problem, but we didn't have the work done, there wouldn't have been a charge. IMPRESSIVE,Roto-Rooter!! Kyle explained what we could do in the future, and the do's and dont's of putting waste in a toilet and down a garbage disposal. He told us that we have a 6 month warranty on the work performed, AND, he gave my mom a 20% senior citizen discount. Kyle didn't have to do that, we would have been none the wiser, and that 20% was a nice chunk of change!In today's world, I've not always run across the most honest people that I needed to work for me, and when you are a woman and at the mercy of professionals, sometimes it's easy to be taken advantage of. At no time did either of us feel like we were being sold anything we didn't need, or have work done that was uneccessary, or feel like we were in over our heads.Kyle was the most professional plumber, and I honestly hope that he is appreciated by his employer, because we will call Roto-Rooter again, and it is because of the way Kyle treated us. He came off as genuine, knowledgeable, honest, hardworking, professional, kind, patient, and with a sense of humor I do think. He is the kind of person that I like to surround myself with because with ppl like Kyle, a person is SAFE! He isn't going to try to benefit from the bad luck of someone else.Roto-Rooter, thank you for sending Kyle, and thank you for getting out plumbing needs taken care of. They say that word of mouth is the best advertisement you can get, well, I will tell everyone what a great experience we've had with Kyle from Roto-Rooter, and that if they have any plumbing needs, just ask for Kyle, and tell them that Judy and Mandie sent you.
