I called on a Sunday morning. . They were polite and kept me informed of the timing for service. I was very impressed with Dave . He did a great job, was very friendly and left behind no mess. I will definitely use them again.

They did a good job and were quick to come out. The price seemed very high considering the short amount of time they were there. After talking with Pat Swanson the Customer Satisfaction Manager and explaining my concern with the cost. He was willing to issue me a nice credit and made the cost reasonable. Very happy overall.

***Emergency Water Leak Repair***Extremely fast- they were at the home the same day I called! Did great work too- identified leak, fixed leak, and checked the rest of the home for any additional concerns, which one issue was found that we didn’t even know about. It was fixed too. All of the work was top-notch.Finally, the plumber was very nice and professional- a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Roto Rooter!

Said they had to remove my brand new oak fence gate, and they would replace it; ruined my gate. Took 6 months to come back to even the mound that didn't settle in the backyard. Charged me almost $12,000 for 6' deep, 7' length piping, digging hole, installing and labor. Charged additional $2,000 + to clean small area in basement. Didn't do a good job. Came back a second time. Asked for itemized bill, still have not received the itemizedreceipt. Cost outrageous.

Nelson and Manny arrived on tine and set right to work on snaking the main line in my backyard. Nelson was exceptionally professional. He explained what he was doing and what challenges were present. Despite it being a rather time-consuming issue to resolve, Nelson and Manny were delightful and worked diligently to clear the line. In the end, we discovered the line was damaged abd in need of repair. Nelson and Manny set my mind at ease throughout the process making me feel like I was in good hands! They have a customer for life!

My drain was clogged. Cory did great! He got here on time and fixed with no problems and very quick. He was also super friendly and helpful!

My service was prompt and professionally done. I requested service online on a Friday evening & a plumber was at my house Saturday morning by 8:30 and the problem was fixed by 10. The plumber was very personable and completed the job in a timely manner that exceeded my expectations.

David showed up a little early, and completed a camera check on my kitchen drain pipe. He identified where the leak was, and recommended next steps for me. He was very prompt, professional, and helpful.

Would never give them my money now, member of their company tried to road rage me, I couldn’t turn at roundabout because was not clear and he began laying on his horn, he then trued to speed around me after and began flipping me off. He followed me into my neighborhood… and began cussing me out and flipping me off more. Extremely unprofessional and childish especially in a company vehicle. I proceeded to call the company with my video evidence of the interaction and they didnt even care.

We had a plumbing issue on New Years Eve, so we requested the next available appointment online. A tech came out the same evening and had the issue fixed within 30 mins of arrival. We would highly recommend roto rooter and will be calling them again should we need additional services.

They were very quick to send someone over to repipe the water supply lines in my very small and cold crawlspace from CPVC to Pex. My plumber was very nice and he did a great job!! I would definitely use them again.

Pinhole leak in copper pipe. Repair was intiated within two hours of my initial call, completed in one hour. Excellent response time and courteous, professional service.

We had a clogged drain that was backing up in our basement. Plumber came out on a Sunday night at 9:00 to fix it. Extremely professional and knowledgeable.

Good service the gentleman that came out was honest and not trying to oversell, also gave tips on stuff i could do myself to save on cost.

Our technician, Laleng, arrived very quickly after I called for service and communicated his arrival time very well also.I had a blocked kitchen sink drain and Laleng expertly cleared the blockage and explained the service warranty. He was very friendly and personable and made the experience easy for me.After he cleared the drain blockage, he cleaned up the work area while testing the drain and plumbing for leaks. Phil showed up on Christmas eve to clear a stuck drain. He showed up within a window and was done in one hour. We couldn’t have asked for more!

$521.32 for 20 minutes worth of work to clear a kitchen drain.Had my kitchen sink plug over the weekend after some research I strayed away from Mr Plumber thinking the $93 or free is a gimmick. So Monday morning I give them a call and they were able to send someone out first thing, fantastic.on the phone I asked how much it would be and they said they will be giving me an estimate.My wife was able to change her schedule to meet them and then calls me to say it will be $521.32 I’m thinking wow it must be bad. 20-30 minutes later the job is done and she says he gave us a free bottle of maintenance cleaner for the drain. When I get home I see the cleaner was not free it was $75.00.Fast yes. cleared the drain yes.but by my math if they are charging $880/hr to just to clear a drain I won’t be using them again. Should have went with Me Plumber.Update: Roto-Rooter made it right and agreed the pricing was not accurate for the work performed and gave me an partial refund for the excess charge. Glad to see they made it right!

We’ve used ROTO-ROOTER many times at EWC. Kyle was the fastest tech I’ve encountered yet today. He’s been out a few times so he thankfully was familiar with our issue.Thanks and hopefully I won’t need to call for awhile!

Had a terrible clog involving 2 bathroom sinks. Made an appointment and they were here within 1 and 1/2 hours. Fixed and done within 20 minutes. Wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. Plus I get a 6 month warranty on the work. Highly recommend.

Thanks to the responsive team from Roto-Rooter, my basement was saved from flooding with a sump pump repair. Miguel Campos, came out and did a great job at identifying the problem area, making recommendations on water restoration and got a team out immediately to start the drying process. They did an outstanding job

Unacceptable business practices with significant deficiencies in their quoting, contracting, and execution process. I engaged them for an estimate on work to fix an issue with my sewer line. A salesman came out and assessed the problem then provided me with an estimate for the work. I agreed to the price and signed the contract to pay 50% upfront (which was required to schedule the job). I signed up for their partnered financing which resulted in a hit on my credit and me opening a Roto Rooter specific cc with the bank they partner with for financing.It took them 10 days after the initial assessment to get the excavation team out to start work (mind you this whole time sewage was backing up in my basement and I wasn’t able to use plumping). The excavation team was here for 5 minutes before declaring they could not perform the work as contracted because the space was too tight for their excavation equipment and a completely different approach would be needed using a hydrovac which they outsource. The size of the space was fixed and had not changed since the initial assessment so it was obvious that the salesman did not consult the necessary experts on the team prior to writing up the contract. They then told me as they outsource the work it would be an additional $5k to the original contract (this was negotiated down to $500 additional).They essentially trapped me into service by providing a low ball contract, requiring payment to schedule causing me to have to obtain financing, and waiting 10 days as the problem compounded only to come back and say they couldn’t do the work as contracted (even though no variables had changed). I cancelled the contract and business with them and had a hydrovac company out to resolve the problem within 24 hours of calling at a fraction of the price. The only thing I received from my experience with was a lower credit score, a cc that can only be used for RR work, and a lot of sewage in my basement from 10 days of wasted time.

Not good, simple sneak job took for ever because they wanted to up sale by scaring my wife. They must be owned by Mr. Sparky

Our water softener bit the dust and started clogging our lines with a brown sludge that killed the water pressure and turned the water reddish brown. Zo came out and was able to troubleshoot the root cause very quickly and came up with a game plan. I was more than impressed with his knowledge and skills and how quickly him and Roto Rooter in general were able to get someone out here in less than an hour to handle my emergency. Our potentially nightmare holiday weekend was all turned around within a few hours on a Friday afternoon and my family and I couldn't be more happy.

We had a backup and while trying to find out where the clog was a pipe was damaged. Miguel oversaw the restoration and clean up in a very timely and professional manner. We were very happy with their work. Miguel Campos, the water restoration field supervisor, was very helpful with contacting our insurance company regarding the water damage cleanup. He helped relieve a lot of stress. The plumbers, Chana and Zo, were respectful and friendly and kept us well informed throughout the pipe repair in a tight spot in our crawl space. They went above and beyond to point out other plumbing issues we should keep an eye on since we have an older home. We will request them next time we have plumbing issues.

Zo arrived at my home promptly. He has been my service technician before and I was happy to see him because he is so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He always offers suggestions on preventative maintenance. Zo explains things so well and takes time to demonstrate how to use products the correct way. I have such confidence in him. We had an emergency leak start after 10pm on a Saturday night. After calling two 24/7 plumbers with no luck I got ahold of Roto Rooter and Mark arrived shortly after. After investigating he knew exactly what was wrong but didn’t have the needed part on the truck so he shut off the shower water valve so we could continue to use our water in other areas of the house until he could come back on Monday. Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable. To be safe Mark suggested having water mitigation come out to check the affected areas. Miguel arrived at our home close to midnight and thoroughly explained what we had experienced and how the process of the next steps would be handled. Both Mark and Miguel were fantastic.Miguel then scheduled for this restoration team to come out the following morning. Kaylin the lead for the project called me first thing the next morning to arrange coming out to the house to get the process going. He was also very friendly and thorough with his explanation of what was going to take place and his team Robert and Anibol got the equipment setup quick and efficiently. Robert then handled our daily equipment checks giving us transparent and detailed updates throughout the process. The entire team was friendly, professional and efficient. I was expecting this job to take the entire week and they finished within 4 days. Would highly recommend this team!

We had a toilet overflow due to a soft clog which caused a lot of water damage to multiple rooms in our condo. Miguel was very helpful and informative in assessing what happened and how everything could be fixed. He helped get a plumber from the company out to clear the clog. We had a flood and they were very quick to respond (same day on a weekend). Miguel C. took the time to explain everything, he answered our questions, addressed our concerns, and was very professional. I highly recommend this company.

I moved in with my 80yr old mother about 6months ago after she had a fall, then hip surgery. We bought a condo 3 months ago and was sure that we had left all of home owners issues behind when we downsized. The property we have moved into had been inspected and had few troubles. But after doing some deep cleaning earlier in the day, and using the washer, the dishwasher, toilets, sinks and shower some at the same time, we were shocked when the toilets started overflowing.I was really concerned about the price, and the repair costs to my mom as she is on a fixed income. She knew that there could be minimal or it could cost an arm and a leg. Roto-Rooter sent a man by the name of Kyle to our condo in freaky fast time! I was shocked that he had actually arrived so quickly. Kyle was absolutely the nicest guy and he was patient with all of our questions, he answered everything in a way that we could understand, and he also showed what I have to call compassion to our situation. He never seemed put off by my constant asking, Will that cost more? It was as if he understood the financial situation and he was gentle, patient, and kind in his way of handling us two old crows. At one point, he even explained how there is not a service charge, if he had diagnosed the problem, but we didn't have the work done, there wouldn't have been a charge. IMPRESSIVE,Roto-Rooter!! Kyle explained what we could do in the future, and the do's and dont's of putting waste in a toilet and down a garbage disposal. He told us that we have a 6 month warranty on the work performed, AND, he gave my mom a 20% senior citizen discount. Kyle didn't have to do that, we would have been none the wiser, and that 20% was a nice chunk of change!In today's world, I've not always run across the most honest people that I needed to work for me, and when you are a woman and at the mercy of professionals, sometimes it's easy to be taken advantage of. At no time did either of us feel like we were being sold anything we didn't need, or have work done that was uneccessary, or feel like we were in over our heads.Kyle was the most professional plumber, and I honestly hope that he is appreciated by his employer, because we will call Roto-Rooter again, and it is because of the way Kyle treated us. He came off as genuine, knowledgeable, honest, hardworking, professional, kind, patient, and with a sense of humor I do think. He is the kind of person that I like to surround myself with because with ppl like Kyle, a person is SAFE! RotoRooter came out with 45 minutes of me calling, which was so amazing! And everything was fixed, no problem, with in 35 minutes. So professional and kind 10/10 would recommend!

We had an emergency main drain blockage on a holiday weekend with guests staying Zo, our technician, arrived quickly, assessed the issue, and cleared the blockage quickly after we were told by another plumbing service that they would not have the tools or expertise to address our issues until the following Tuesday. Kyle was a Super Hero Angel of Mery!!! He successfully unclogged my backed up Kitchen sink in just about 30mins…when other plumbers could not! I have been battling my clogged sink for about 2 years…… And it was now no longer draining at all thanks to the last plumber. . This was beyond toleration and I needed an expert. I was quoted from other plumbers a procedure that would take 1-2hrs for an extremely high price. Kyle arrived about an hour after I called Roto Rooters. The cost was less than half other quoted plumber prices and no extra service fees for just showing up. Kyle came, assessed, diagnosed and actually fixed the problem in lightening speed ….and then he was off to conquer his next plumbing issue!! Kyle is my new favorite plumber!!!

Called Roto Rooter for water leaking from ceiling. Miguel Campos showed up within 15 minutes and guided us through a very stressful situation. Miguel was fast, friendly and willing to answer any questions. I totally recommend Roto Rooter for all your water leak needs!

We woke up on a Saturday morning to none of our toilets flushing. (We have 3). They were able to get a technician dispatched out in a couple of hours after I called. The tech was able to determine that our water pressure had been compromised due to a buildup that came from our older water softener. He presented us with a few options to get the issue repaired, which we appreciated. He was able to get all the toilets back in good working condition in less than a couple of hours. We did end up discovering the next day that the buildup also affected the water pressure in our washer. The tech was kind enough to leave his number for us, so we called and he did attempt to walk us through what needed to be done to fix it, but my husband preferred to have them come back out. Same tech came and was able to get the washer back working and was overall very knowledge about the background of what happened to cause the issues. Only thing I would say I didn’t like was that they were a bit pricey, however I figured that’s probably due to the convenience of them being able to dispatch techs out so quickly, even on weekends.

I had a clog in the main sewer line right outside the house. I called another company first and after waiting 3 1/2 hours with no call from the tech, I cancelled and called Roto-Rooter. They sent the technician, Phillip, out. He was really very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what he thought was wrong and what he would do to fix it. The price was not bad. He used the machine to clean out the drain and made sure the drain was clear before leaving. He tested all the different faucets and toilets in the house to make sure there were no other clogs inside and that the running water was leaving the house. I had a great experience with them and would recommend them to my family and friends.

I received excellent service from Kyle. My drains were backing up pretty badly and he was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. I appreciated the ability to book an appointment online and received a phone call with 30 minutes notice the day of the service. Once at my home, Kyle observed social distancing and wore a mask, gloves, and shoe covers. He was friendly and professional in determining the source of the problem and quickly resolving it. I would absolutely schedule service with him again if needed.

Hot water heater sprung a leak on Saturday. Another company I have used in the past was able to shut of water and drain tank but was unable to replace unit until Monday. He provided a quote for a new unit and installation. Could not wait until Monday so contacted Roto-Rooter. Tech showed up within the hour of my call. After discussing price I shared quote from the other company and was told he could meet or beat it. Returned with another tech and they installed a commercial water heater with better warranty than first quote. Technicians were extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. And the best part is the cost was around $250 less than first quote! I am very pleased with work performed/cost and would recommend Roto-Rooter.

The repairman was responsive, professional and did a fantastic quality job. But the price for a simple kitchen drain cleaning and a new garbage disposal
of $900 was significantly higher that what I thought would be reasonable.

We had an emergency plumbing back up on the weekend and RR sent a really experienced father / son team right away, they were here in about 30 minutes. They quickly found the source of the problem, were professional, tidy, and got things repaired and back up and running pretty quickly. I also liked that they explained options we had and what the problems were so we can look out for them again. We did have water damage from the back up and RR has a team ready to help with that as well and they do what they can to work with your insurance!

The Tech showed up 2 hours late. Then he said he did not have the parts and would return the next day. He showed up one hour late this time. Still did not have the parts. He went to Menards to buy parts and fixed the faucet. The price was WAY TO HIGH. The Tech keep talking about how little he was making on the job after Roto router took their cut.I will never use them again!!!!!!

Called to get quote for installing dishwasher apparently they don't do that. Asked what the charge is for installing kitchen faucet, they don't have clue. Asked what the charge is for Outdoor Faucet Sillcock install they don't have a clue. Only answer gave me there is $69 diagnostics charge to come out and look at the faucet! Really? Another plumbing company that don't know how much would it cost to install simple kitchen faucet?!

Kyle was great. Went above and beyond to fix our clogged toilet and sink. Walked me through everything he was doing and kept me updated on what he might have to do if things were harder to fix. Was on time, polite, quick and efficient. Hopefully we never have to use the company again but if we do, we will request Kyle for sure.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. They were able to respond within a few hours and unclog the pipes. The cost was $440 which is expensive but they did respond quickly, the plumber was very professional and the pipe is no longer clogged.

I called for help Friday morning. After being here for 5 hours the guy said he was out of his depth and that another tech would be out to finish it.So then I wait two hours and get a phone call that some one will be out the next day. Ok it’s Christmas Eve I get it.Spent Christmas morning waiting to hear from this company. They call finally at 1 and rescheduled me again. Ok it’s Christmas… I get it.So it’s now two days later and the guy who is here says they don’t know who came here even though they sent them. I show them the call log. It’s all them. Now he says he has to replace a different part and it’s not in stock at a store. He’s going to have to wait till Monday to get the part from their store room.Monday morning. I’m supposed to work but have called off to wait for the repair guy. It’s almost 9am and I’ve heard nothing. I call and cancel because I need hot water today. I stink, my kids stink it’s time already.I have lost any hope that roto rooter has any concern about me not having hot water over the holiday weekend or that I ever get hot water.The quote for the repair just kept getting bigger and no one seems to care it’s dragged on for days, not from anything I’ve done. Also somehow it’s my fault that they don’t know who the first guy they sent is.I called to cancel and they put me on the phone with the tech himself. How uncomfortable. I’ve already explained my situation repeatedly.I’m planning on avoiding this company entirely in the future. They don’t care how the customer is.

First time ever having to go through a place like this. Had a major crack/leak in our main water line. I was able to go online and get an appointment easily and quick. All contact we had with the company was fantastic. They were very nice and helpful. My appointment window was between 12pm and 4pm, which I thought was a bit wide, but they will call you 30 minutes prior to showing up. I was pleasantly surprised when I was called 45 minutes before the window for my appointment saying that they would be there in 20 minutes. I was close by my house, and the technician, Dave, got to my house before me. I showed him my issue and he got to work immediately and was done in about 25 minutes. I am very pleased with the results as well as the friendly and courteous service they provided while in my house. Will recommend to friends and family if they ever have an issue.

Vala came out Sunday morning for an emergency leak inspection we thought was a toilet base or water heater plumbing. He arrived within 45 minutes of the original call and went straight to work diagnosing. He had the approval to open the drywall for further inspection but decided to check “one more thing.” Turns out our air conditioner is leaking. Drywall saved and Vala is on his way with a smile. Shower was giving out extremely hot water at times, lukewarm water at other times. Turning the handle did not help to adjust the temperature. So called RotoRooter. They fixed the issue with a new handle, but it cost $900+ and the new handle looks cheap (chrome) compared to the rest of the shower fixtures (brushed nickel/copper) and RotoRooter has not responded to our calls about this issue for more than a week now.

We needed a valve installed to shut off the water to the icemaker. The first technician came out but didnt resolve the problem. I believe it was just a lack of communication. We called back and they sent out a second technition, Van. He had the problem fixed in no time. Very satisfied with the service we received. It is good to know they make good on their word. Again, Van is an excellent tech.

We had a flooded basement and called Roto-Rooter around 12:30PM. They arrived shortly after 1 and brought the plumber and the restoration person! This was very efficient. I called insurance while they were there and got the whole process started.Thank you thank you for your punctuality and professional and friendly staff.

Had to have a whole new sewer line ran for a house on a concrete slab which meant they had to tear up most of the floors inside our house. Experience was great before the work began, however once they got started there were just dumping old pipe into the ground and after we requested them to dispose of it properly. Rushed to get it done and now our toilets' don't sit properly, they never came back to connect a drain pipe for us or put gravel in the driveway that we paid for. We now have a huge sink hole in our yard as well. I've connected them and no response. $30,000 of work and they couldn't even finish the job. We now have to pay for gravel to fill the driveway as well as rent a truck to get it there since most placed require a minimum we also have to buy dirt to fill the giant sink hole. Two days of work for Roto Rooter and $30,000 out of our pocket to only have to spend even MORE money in repairs.

They were great! Fast, friendly service. Jeff was even able to find a clean-out access in the front yard that I didn't know was there. I really appreciated the camera system. Jarrett was able to show me the condition of my pipes. Highly recommended.

He offered us 10% off and made it clear this is not how they run their business. Roto-rooter is now here and finishing the job. With that being said, I would recommend Roto-rooter if this was an uncommon occurrence. Thank you, Hal!My fiancé and I called Roto-rooter on 3/3/21 for a drain we thought was clogged and expected a simple clean-out. The technician was very kind and reassured us many times that he was confident this solved our problem. He suggested a camera come to double check to confirm the problem was solved by the clean out. Long story short, the camera found root rot and an old plumber’s cable among other issues and suggested we have a section of our main replaced and jetted on 3/4/21. Turns out, 31 feet of our main now needed replaced. They pipe was replaced completely on 3/9/21, however, the hole was never filled (7ft deep, 31ft long). We called on 3/11/21 to ask why nobody has come to fill the hole, which we were told they were waiting on the inspector. By 3/15/21, nobody had shown and I called asking what the hold up was. The women on the phone told me she is just as frustrated as I was and would not be as patient as we have been and told me the inspector had been there Friday and the workers should have been there that day to finish the job (you guessed it, they were not). She told me to call back if they had not shown up by noon on 3/16/21 (today). Of course, at 1pm today I had to call yet again (three times if anybody has lost track). I was told they would be here this afternoon. IT IS 5:34pm!!!!! Nobody has come, nobody has called (oh, except to confirm the final payment would be due today!!!!!). This company is expecting us to pay $10,250 for a total of 8 hours (GENEROUS) of work. This is not how this should be done and I’m hoping somehow this company can make this right...*we had pleasant experiences with the technician and Michael Grub (field supervisor). My complaint is with the way this business is run!

Had a leak under my kitchen sink yesterday. Didn’t know who to call. Their customer service representative indicated that they have no service fee, but the technician would assess the issue when he arrived.Technician arrived quickly. But he advised there was a $249 minimum fee! They should have shared that with me when I called them. Boo for Roto Rooter taking advantage of the customer and price gouging!Technician took 5 minutes to fix the problem. $249!!

This is the second time we have had Phil out to clean our drains. Our house is 120 years old and needless to say it’s quite quirky. We know it could use with an eventual re-piping, but for now Phil keeps things moving and we don’t feel pressured to tear out our entire basement. He is friendly and helpful, clean and efficient. We would highly recommend him.

Hired them to replace flapper in my toilet. The ones they had didn't solve the leak and then they charged me $129 for a diagnosis when I was the one who had already told them what was wrong. Major rip off!

Our plumbing issues started on 12/28 when our main line backed up and flooded our home at 4:45AM. We called RotoRooter and had someone come out later that day. The two technicians claimed they cleared the clog and that it was a simple toilet paper clog and charged us $600. A few hours later, a field supervisor called and told us that it was NOT toilet paper and that it was tree roots in our line and suggested we get a cleanout but that we were ok to use the facilities in our home. With the holiday, we did not start the cleanout process. After taking a shower on 1/1, the shower was draining slowly and then the toilet in that same bathroom started bubbling. My house immediately flooded again. We called at 4:45PM and was told someone would be there within two hours. No one showed up until 1AM. This technician claimed the first technicians did NOT clear the clog and that he was able to successfully do so. We had another field supervisor come out on 1/2 to go over getting the cleanout process started. He advised that since it was a Saturday, we would have to wait so that they could call the city to get zoning and clearance for the project. The cleanout process started on 1/6. The excavation crew started digging where they assumed our main line was and could not find it. They left for the night. They left their backhoe in my yard for two days and did not return until 1/8 unannounced. So instead of digging deeper, they dug up a huge portion of my yard looking for it, only to go back to the original dig spot and found it 2 feet deeper. Once installed (which it was crooked by the way), the field supervisor was supposed to have a water jetting crew come out and jet the line for two ours and then send a camera down the main line to see if we had any bigger issues on our hands. He contacted us about an hour before our appointment and told us he could not come because the office had been exposed to COVID-19 and he had to quarantine (this was after he was in our home and around our family with NO mask). He told us since he could not come out, he would get someone in contact with us. This did not happen. We called the office for two weeks to try and get someone to come out and finish the job since we were and still are living in a hotel (since 1/5). No one would call us back or come out to our house. Once our field supervisor came out of quarantine, he contacted us and got someone to come jet the line and sent his camera down. We had tree roots in the line and he also said we would more than likely need the lines replaced as they were old clay pipes. We worked with the city would agreed to replace the piping for us at no cost. However, when they came out, they had to completely removed RotoRooter's cleanout because they installed a 4IN cleanout and city protocol is 6IN. The city also told us they would come back and clean up the mess RotoRooter created in our yard at no cost. I have contacted our field supervisor numerous times to try and get a refund or at least talk to the GM, I have left numerous voicemails for the GM with no return and even sent a complaint to the customer satisfaction manager with no resolution. I submitted a complaint with the BBB and I am awaiting a response on that. Please DO NOT use this company. They clearly do not follow city protocol and once they have their payment, they are not willing to correct or work with you at all. If they refuse to refund I will be disputing the card charge and seeking legal counsel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY.

We just had a new sump pump installed by Andrew C. at Roto-Rooter. It is only the second time we have used their services and we were extremely impressed with the service. Andrew was upfront about the cost. He thoroughly explained all of our options and worked with us to find the best solution for our budget.Our new sump pump is fantastic. It is significantly quieter than the last one. Andrew went above and beyond to remedy some issues with the pipes, making the pump quieter, more efficient, and giving us peace of mind. He was very smart, professional, and clearly exceptional at what he does.In addition, we received very quick service. Andrew made it to our house within one hour of the original call (on a Saturday). This was extremely important since our basement had taken on water before and we planned to be away from home the following day. Should we have any issues in the future, Roto-Rooter will be the first and only call we make.

Had a middle of the night drainage/sewage overflow into our home and Roto Rooter responded quickly, came out to our home ASAP and diagnosed, fixed and mitigated the issue with ease and courtesy. I was especially happy with my project manager, Miguel, and the drain tech, Jarrett, and our first plumber, Matt, however everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, clean and professional. Miguel answered all of my questions and even helped me navigate insurance- he even called my adjuster to explain what was going on. My insurance company was also happy with Roto Rooter’s documentation and communication. This was a condo so was even more complicated to manage and Roto Rooter had to communicate with unit below me for repairs and did so with ease. Very happy with our service!!

After speaking with a very kind customer service rep that told me a plumber would be dispatched and arrive at my residence within 45 mins. I was greeted by a plumber by the name of Vala who arrived in less than 45 mins! Vala was punctual, kind, knowledgeable, and very efficient! He was done within 15 mins! I recommend this company to anyone for their plumbing needs!

Sewer line was clogged. My husband worked on it himself for 2 days no luck. Called Roto-Rooter, they sent out Eddie #1175, he was awesome and helped us out so much. So nice and friendly. Great job and fast work! I called Roto Rooter on Saturday and they were out within 30 minutes. Puia was wonderful! I told him what the issue was and he found the problem right away. He showed me where the main water shut off was as well. He also fixed my hot and cold water issue. My bathroom remodel is now complete after 7 months. I highly recommend Roto Rooter!

Technician was great, the only problem I have with Roto is that they wouldn't give me an estimate over the phone. I told the lady I just wanted a water heater flush and how much are those usually. She said the technician would give me an estimate on the day of service. The only reason I didn't push harder for an estimate is because I had seen a coupon for another company that was a $49 water heater flush, and assumed the full price wouldn't be much more than double the coupon. Turns out it was $375 though, and completely through me for a loop! I must say I'm at fault for not insisting on an some kind of estimate and making price assumptions but, I really think Roto should have their customer service people give estimates over the phone too.Again though, service technician was great! Super polite and very fast.

This was the first and will be the last time we use Roto-Rooter Plumbing. We had a leaking drain pipe and leaking water pipe in our guest bathroom. The initial Roto-Rooter employee that assess if water damage has occurred told me this fix was “an easy fix.” I had already bought one of the needed parts but was not confident in replacing it myself. The plumber had quoted me $356 to fix the leaking problem. He approached me after an hour saying that there was another part that needed to be replaced and it would be another $100 plus the price of the part to fix it. He quickly jumped down to $50 plus the part to installing the new piece for free if I paid for the part. The plumber was gone for an hour and a half getting the part even though multiple home improvements stores are within 20 minutes or less. The plumber replaced the part, did not turn the hot water back on, nor verified that all of the leaks had stopped. Another plumber from Roto-Rooter had to come repair what he should have done the first time. An “easy fix” turned into a 4 hour debacle. If you want to be priced gouged, then Roto-Rooter is the company for you!

Roto-Rooter came to the rescue when the Beech Grove city sewer backed up through my basement drains. They were there that evening cleaning up the mess and stayed at it till late into the early morning. They stuck to it the following days till all was dry and treated. Miguel and his supervisor Adam made sure the job was completed efficiently. When we discovered the city wasn’t going to pay for it they were able to adjust the cost for my family to afford it.Merry Christmas!Thank you guys for everything! Nathan

We found 2 of water throughout our entire basement one night after 7pm, and unfortunately it included sewage backup. We were at a loss for what to do, but Roto-Rooter answered the call and sent out a team within a few hours. Miguel Campos assessed the damage and set up for his team to come in the very next morning to start removing the damaged carpet, baseboards, and drywall and start the process of drying out everything. Stan Scott and his crew were very professional throughout the mitigation process and made piles of our belongings in the garage- mementos that might be able to be saved, our children's toys, and items that were soaked and needed to be tossed. We really appreciated how quick and thorough they were in the cleanup. Also Ruata completed the draining of the water and clearing the line that was backed up on the night that we called, staying at our house until after midnight, which we appreciated as well! While we do not want to be in this situation again in the future, we would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone needing their services!

Called one of their plumbers out who was unable to fix the problem I called for, but plumber made an honest mistake that ended up causing significant water damage. Spoke to GM about it, he said he'd call me back in a day or two but failed to do so, and then would not return my calls after. My insurance has now paid for it all, with me paying the deductible, and now I have a claim record on my house that I never would have had if Roto-Rooter would have had integrity to do the right thing. Not to mention the headache of having to find repair services to replace my garage ceiling and having to personally rebuild a wood closet system that was damaged by the water. I literally would have been better off if I had never called them in the first place.

Eddie came promptly quickly reviewed the situation and kept us informed the whole time. He corrected a previous company's error and then used the camera to discover that the trap had been covered with concrete. he gave us options and went to work to uncover the trap and snake the pipe. He cleaned up and treated our property like his own. He was very competent, friendly and experienced. Thank you Eddie.

I am a first time homeowner of an older house. Who knows when the last time, if ever, the floor drain cleared of who knows what. It took two technicians and a camera to fix the problem, but they got the job done. I was only charged for the original service rendered. More important to me, they took a highly stressful situation for me and made it run smoothly. I don’t know what I would have done with out their expertise.

Our sink had a lot of standing water and it seemed that our drain was clogged, this was also causing problems with our dish washer. We called Roto-Rooter and they were able to come out the next day, which was great! We had one technician come that didn't seem to know what he was doing, and ultimately he left and said that he'd send someone new, but did not give us a time. The next technician who came was named Khuma and he did a great job! He fixed all of our problems in a little over an hour and was very friendly.

Excellent Service. First I love that there was not an extra charge for weekends?. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. The job took about 5-6 hours. He kept me updated and made sure He was not inconveniencing me. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Our hot water pressure kept getting weaker and weaker. Then our hot water tank started leaking and wouldn't work altogether. Roto-Rooter came out the same day and had the problem fixed in a matter of hours. The technician explained everything very clearly and gave us our options. He let us know the least expensive option should fix the problem, but if it didn't, then we would get that amount off of replacing our system. We felt very comfortable and confident with our decision. Now our water pressure is stronger than ever. Would definitely call them again with any issues.

I had great service over a weekend. I had a slab leak repair and restoration and water heater replacement. Roto-Rooter was there within an hour and started the work. They worked directly with my insurance company and so far everything has been so smooth during this disaster.

The service was awesome and I'm very appreciative that Kyle was the serviceman that provided the service. When Kyle quoted the price I immediately knew there was no way I could afford the cost. Earlier hat day I had a new resin brim installed for my water softener and it was not inexpensive. Kyle informed me that he had a coupon that could help me with the cost. The gentleman that serviced our gas leak was professional, kind, and knew what the problem was and fixed it quickly. I waited a few hours before they got to the house; however it was a Saturday and they only had two team members available to give me the service I needed. The price was a little steep but the service was great!

Buyer Beware with these snakes.Do not allow them to talk to your insurance company before they give you a quote. They found out the exact amount my insurance was willing to pay for cleaning up my basement and amazingly, it work came to exactly that number.Then when I discussed it with other vendors and my insurance adjuster they both said that the price was 30% higher than what it should have been.When I asked them about it and tried to work out a more reasonable price this is what I received back.The total payment of $%%%%.%% is due by 11/9/2018, after which a lien will be placed on the property for the amount due.When I decided that I had to pay them here was our correspondenceI received my insurance check on Monday of last week (9/29) and attempted to work out a more reasonable price, but when it was apparent that your company was committed to ripping me off I deposited the check on Friday (10/2). It's a two party check so there's a five day hold on it. I told your accounting department this, and here's the response I received.If we do not receive payment by 11/9/18 a lien will be placed on property and account will be turned over to legal. The contract that you signed states that payment is due to us by the 45th day and this is past that point. Again, if payment is not at the office by Friday 11/9/18 account will be turned over to legal and lien will be placedSo they immediately go to threatening to place an lien on my property. Learn from my mistake and stay away from this POS company.

I really wanted a small company that took mold seriously. No one could get out here quick enough. So i called the first co that showed up on google and it was roto rooters. They have been amazing. They got here quickly. We’re super knowledgeable about mold. Got all the water damage taken care of in a day. Answered all my questions and were just very available and personable. This big company is actually great and id use them again.

It was the Sunday after Christmas and my basement flooded - not something anybody looks forward to and the panic set in immediately. I called around to several companies and Roto-Rooter was the first company that could send someone out for emergency service. The work was done within about an hour and my basement is now flood-free. Phil, the technician, was extremely professional and personable. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter for all your plumbing needs.

The service that was done was good but only because of the technician being very thorough. However, the price for the service and the insane cost for the sump pump/battery back up left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I am currently having my basement restored through Roto Rooter's water cleanup service, so it remains as to how exorbitant that will end up being. ***UPDATE***I received a discount for an issue with water restoration and for the cost for the sump pump.

We had issues with our tub and washer backing up/not draining. Jeff with Roto-Rooter came out and got our drains working with no issues. He also got some roots out of the line as well. Very professional and friendly.

We had a issue with our toilet not flushing. The service man who came out, Muana, was very friendly and knowledgeable. What he suspected proved to be the case. He was quick to install a new toilet do gave us a good discount.

I had about 2 ft of water in my crawl space, called Roto-Rooter and received same day service in the middle of several consecutive days of rain and flooding. Ray was awesome! Between Friday morning and Monday afternoon, the water was pumped out, new sump pump was installed and complete water restoration services were complete. Extremely professional and courteous, answered all of my questions.

Had a good experience before, but tried again and they cancelled on me day of with no option to reschedule until at least a week later. This was all more than a year ago, but just ran across my review to edit it. Went with a competitor (won't name, that's a bridge too far) who fit me in that day. Won't ever go back to Roto-Rooter.

Had our sewage drain cleaned. Called on Saturday evening to set up appt. They had appt available for Sunday morning. Guy arrived on time and got right to work. Laid down a tarp to keep the floors clean. Wore plastic covers over his shoes to keep floors clean. Had the drain cleaned in a hour. Supervisor then showed up to run a camera through the pipes. Supervisor had a lot of knowledge of what we needed to do and what we didn’t need to do. VERY HONEST which I loved and felt very comfortable. The price seemed a little steep for me but hey that’s part of being a home owner lol not to mention you do what you have to to get poo out of your tub. Water goes down the drains so fast now. Lived here for 15 years and have never heard water being sucked down the drain.

Kyle arrived on time and took great care of my problems. I am home on Leave from Afghanistan and Kyle fixed my problems that I would have spent hours trying to do myself, allowing me to have much more free time.

Hard to rate this - Chaung was the only plumber from this company I can say was excellent. He was the 5th one to come out in 4 days. The first 4 either had no clue what they were doing or contributed to the problem. Had to keep my water shut off for 4 days. Chaung came in took one look and fixed the shower in an hour with no issues. Ask for him for good service.

I had a nice gentleman named Chawng Vunga arrive at my home yesterday around 12:30pm. I needed a new faucet in a tub and a toilet repaired. He was very professional and very personable. He even complimented me on how clean my house was. he needed to step out and get some additional parts needed and returned in an hour. he completed the work and reviewed it with me. he did mention my drain was draining slow and if it gets worse to call them. He shook my hand with he left. I would highly recommend him and his company!

I'll give them some credit because they're one of the few emergency plumbers to even answer and they did eventually clear our main line. Aside from that we are thoroughly dissatisfied with our service. The tech tracked dirty sewage water all through our house, had my husband carry his tools that had just been down our toilet, left his soaking wet shoe covers in our closet and he still said he'd have to come back tomorrow because he didn't want to run a camera tonight. This cost $350 to clear a pipe which most companies will do for $99 and they won't leave their garbage behind. I'd rather wait for someone else to make it out here than use roto rooter again. We now have to take off work to meet them again tomorrow, have our carpets cleaned of the sewage he tracked, and have destroyed about a half dozen towels soaking up the mess that was not there before he came.

The tech that came was friendly, polite, and professional. He did a through job and I am completely satisfied with the service. My only suggestion would be if the customer had the option and purchasing the hardware needed for a job as a potential cost saving measure if possible.

I loved the fast, efficient and prompt service from Roto-Rooter as it was a Friday night at 7 pm and all of a sudden my master bathroom toilet was clogged and I called several companies and Roto-Rooter was the only one able to come out the same night. This was important since I was having a family party the next day at my house and I appreciated that they don't charge an emergency after hours fee and I didn't have to wait long for them to show up either. And I originally thought it was a clogged toilet only but the water line to my water heater was clogged also and I didn't even realize it and what was great a supervisor came out first before the technician to diagnose the problem and he told me about the clogged water line and let the technician know so that he would know what he was coming into. The technician Christion Faulds #2324 who came out was very professional and cleared both clogs quickly and even gave some advice on how to prevent future clogs. And I even got a price discount since they were clearing more than 1 clog. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone that needs plumbing help and they really know how to take care of their customers.

Laura took my phone call, and was able to schedule a nearby technician to come out and help us within the hour. Kima was our technician. He listened to our problem, and explained different possible solutions, and what the price would be for each before he did anything. He said he would start with the lowest option and work our way up if the problem persisted. Thankfully, the first option cleared our drain! :) Kima gave us some tips on how to keep it from clogging again. He was so helpful, we were very thankful for him

Miguel and his team did a great job after a leak. I found it on Friday morning and by Friday afternoon, fans and dehumidifiers were installed to dry out the areas. The plumber, Kima, stopped the leak; Zack and Nick pulled out the damaged materials and installed drying equipment; and Jonathan kept tabs on the drying over the weekend. This team also did everything possible to help ease my concerns and minimize the disruption. They all worked together beautifully. It was a good choice to use RR.

Did a fantastic job. Another vendor never showed up after two day. Roto was there at the house working within the hour. It was worth the service and feel the sewer lines will not be a problem in the future.

Friday night of Labor Day weekend I suddenly developed a problem with the toilet cabinet where a rubber piece to the plunger came loose and would not secure so I had a steady stream of water running and it would continually flush once enough water got in the cabinet. I tried to just turn off the water until I could get it fixed but find out the shut off valve was stuck and could not turn off the water. I waited until Saturday morning to call Roto Rooter and chose them due to a neighbor working there and he had helped me change my porch light a couple of months ago eventhough I had never interacted with him before. Roto Rooter had one of their employees working today to my house in about an hour. He checked what I had said and told me what he would need to do to fix it and gave me an estimate. I said to do it and it did not take long for him to fix both issues. I no longer have to deal with the constant running water and if I need to in the future I could shut off the water. Thank you.

I took a shower today in our home we've lived in for 18 hours. I went downstairs afterward to check on my cat and realized there was water EVERYWHERE! The drain backed up in the basement shower and out from the toilet drain! I called and they had someone to my house in about an hour. The guy was here almost three hours working tirelessly to get the root out of my lines that he found. He tried from outside and then down in the main access downstairs. Thank God he got it! He could've given up and called for digging, but he didn't and that's a huge relief. He was very courteous. We just bought our home and woke up the next day to a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom spilling into our main level kitchen. RotoRooter responded immediately, sending experts to determine the problem, a plumber to fix the leak, and remediation experts to take care of the damaged wallboard and ceiling. Here’s my experience, you decide if it’s good or bad: They sent the insurance company one bill and they paid in full. They then sent me a totally different bill much higher than the one to the insurance company and then after cashing the checks from the insurance company sent me a bill/past due notice for the balance of the increased bill the sent to me. My deductible was taken from my rebuild not the roto rooter charges.

Vala came out and diagnosed our problem. I liked that Vala was professional, courteous, and attentive. He listened to our concerns and walked us through them to completion. Vala solved our immediate issue/concern.

The consultation with a plumber should be free unless you can guarantee that the plumber you send is worth your company's name!! Once a customer prepays such a plumber for his initial visit to the house (no work is done on that day), the customer is going to suffer a bad service. Moreover, that customer is charged again on the day of the service and the initial visit deposit is not counted as a part of it! I will never even conciser Roto-Rooter again!! I am stuck with a dripping handle, and most likely, moisture in the wall... until I hire someone else to do the job right.

My water heater went out, called Roto-Rooter Saturday evening, got an appointment on Sunday morning. The service technician came at the scheduled time. He was courteous, and knowledgeable. He finished the job quickly. We have hot water again. Thank you Roto-Rooter.

I had a difficult time finding someone who could access a drain located under my water heater. Roto Rooter had one service person call me and advised he could not do it and one serviceman came to my home and advised he couldn’t do it and would ask that a senior serviceman come out. He did come and immediately went about determining the problem and how it could be solved. His name is Eddie Garcia and he solved the problem. He normally handles commercial difficult jobs. If you have a difficult problem Eddie is your man!

My boyfriend and I just had a leak in the ceiling of our condo. The rotorooter staff was very friendly, accommodated both of our busy schedules, and were efficient and very knowledgable about the work that needed to be done on our condo. Specifically, Eric Campbell and Jacob Haulitz did a great job. They were the originally workers who cleared out our wet and moldy ceiling and set up the equipment that is used to dry out the area. They also did daily checks of the equipment and were more than willing to work with our schedules (they came at 7pm bc we worked til 6:30pm those three days.) We were very satisfied with our experience and highly recommend this company and these individuals.

Terrible customer service and lack of communication! I set an appointment for their 4 hour window and they were supposed to call me when they were on their way. They called and left me a message to call their office 1 hour into my 4 hour window. I called them 3 times to find out what was going on and could not get through to dispatch because they were on the other line. I was told they would call me back in 5 minutes. They never called back and never showed up for the appointment! Big waste of my time. I would not recommend them based on their disorganization and poor communication.

The individual who serviced my home was Zack and he was the epitome of professional. Answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable and polite. I would highly recommend him.

Over the weekend, our sewage got blocked and started backing up through the laundry room. Fortunately, our home had a warranty so I called the company, and they scheduled a plumber to come out. After taking almost 3 days before coming to the house, the plumbers stayed for less than 30 minutes, unknowingly shattered out toilet with the snake, and didn't even unclog our drain.My wife was literally in tears. She had no idea what to do so she called Roto-Rooter. They said they'd be to our house in an hour. Not only were they fast, they were also polite and hardworking. Our plumber, Kimoe, was persistent to fix the clog and even called for backup to ensure the problem would be fixed.The Roto-Rooter plumbers were eventually able to find the clean out valve (something the other plumbers insisted we didn't have) and remove the clog successfully. I can't thank Roto-Rooter enough. They came into a situation that seemed hopeless, and they didn't give up until the problem was solved. The same cannot be said for our previous plumbers. If you want a plumber that's professional, kind, and will stay until the job is done, this is the place for you!

I hired Roto- Rooter to install a clean out. They dug in the wrong location, put a hole in the line. Left it open for 2 weeks came back pumped the waste from 4 people who were living there straight into a city alley. Did not attempt to install clean out, they then withdrew the financed $ and left.

Jeff arrived promptly & began work to remove debris from our sump pump drainage line. After clearing the PVC pipe he then used a sawzall to clear out willow tree roots that had grown around the pipe & that were impeding drainage. He worked efficiently, was courteous & provided preventive maintenance recommendations for us.

I scheduled rotorooter service to replace a broken garbage disposal in my kitchen sink and to replace a faucet and water shut off valves on my bathroom sink. Dusty Schrader #2794 came out to water jet our French drain. He was prompt and worked quickly to keep the drain open. He took care around some new landscape we had done to protect the new plants. We will definitely use them again.

The service technician was Chawng Vunga. He completed the job of unclogging a bathroom sink. Chawng was the second technician sent by Roto Rooter and was able to unclog the drain within the hour. He was very professional and cleaned up the area before leaving.My only concern was I had a $100 off coupon that had been mailed to our home with no expiration date. However, the quote for the bathroom sink was $388, so even with the $100 discount, the charge seemed more than I had paid previously for a kitchen drain in 2016.Satisfied with the work and the tech who served us, not so happy with the discount mailer.

When they were initially unable to unclog the drain they used a camera to pinpoint the problem. A large tape measure had been dropped into the line. It looked as though we might have to tear up the floor. But they called Eddie Garcia. He was able to solve the issue.

I called for a plugged kitchen sink and someone arrived within an hour. The tech was very nice and accommodating. He explained everything thoroughly and got the sink back to working order!

Sewage was leaking under the house. Miguel checked out the problem and made notes to what was happening, and how and what kind of work would be done to fix the problem.

Found that our main sewer line was not only clogged, it was leaking. The call center, dispatcher, and the technician, Dave, were all very professional and responsive, and the price was fair considering the turn around and that it solved our problem immediately. Turns out tree roots had clogged our main sewer line. Dave fixed it fast and now we're functioning again. Unfortunately, the long term solution is to replace the line which will be very costly, but for now this works.

My Kitchen sink was stopped up from my kids putting food in the garbage disposal the wrong way. The proper way is to turn on the faucet then turn on the garbage disposal then at the food after wait 45 sec with water on to clear drain. My service technician jetted our underground drainage tubing, flushing out debris that was causing problems in our home. He also identified a potential problem in the tubing that can cause future/further problems. Very professional and thorough.

The only problem, but is a big one for an older guy, is they did not backfill the hole that they dug out in front of my house. Dirt that was removed was but on the lawn, ran over by their equipment, and then left for me to put back afetr I had to but the edge block bricks back in place, which weighed about 75 lbs a piece. This was not mentioned to me that this would be left in the discussions prior to the job or in the contract.
