Best Drain Replacement Services in Houston TX
UPDATE: Chris Stephens, the VP of Operations at Village Plumbing, came out to view the work and offered an adjustment to the price. He listened to my concerns and was committed to reaching a solution.$7,300 for a waterline from the house to the water meter. A 4-hour job with one plumber and a dig crew of two.Just before the cold weather began, I noticed water around the pipe where the water enters my home. I contacted Village Plumbing, having been a customer for more than 10 years. I suspected it was related to my two trees, and I was correct. The roots had wrapped around the pipe and caused a slow leak. I was given two options. They could replace the section of PVC pipe for a little over $1,000 to stop the leak, or they could replace everything from the house to the meter with a flexible pipe, a distance less than 25 feet, for $8,100. I was able to get them to bring the amount down to $7,300. However, I regret that I didn't get two or three estimates from other companies.I expected that this was going to be a big job, but it only took a total of four hours including the dig crew. Once the dig crew (two guys) finished their trench (about one foot deep), the plumber arrived to do his part. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the price (for which I had already paid half). I remember that in 2013, I had to hire an investigative plumber to tunnel under my house and that had only cost $3,200. Although he couldn't go on record as saying so, it was evident that the plumber felt the price was excessive as well. He made a call to his direct boss, but was told the price is price. He explained that the price he gave me was the result of him taking pictures, telling his boss what need to be done, and his boss then sending a number. Village Plumbing doesn't give itemized quotes. He told me of a manager above his boss that I could speak to, but when I called, I was told he was gone for the day (at 3:00 pm). I was told that an email would be sent to him asking him to call me the next day. I explained my situation to the person on the phone who called me back a few hours later. She said she had spoken with two other managers who took a look at the job and basically said, the price is the price.$7,300 seems to be an excessive overcharge to run a new service line from the house to the meter along with a new hose-bib and emergency shut-off valve. We learn from our mistakes, and mine was trusting a company that I had done business with for many years. I won't make that mistake again.

Great communication, before and during the service. Professional and courteous. They were quick and got the job done right. They are probably not the cheapest plumbing service but they certainly might be the best. I will use Nick’s for all my plumbing needs because they do the job right the first time.

GEI was great at not only getting someone out same day, but also in cutting the cost of what would’ve been a major repair! I hesitated calling a second plumber after receiving a $3000 quote for an outside water leak, however, my instincts told me otherwise. I called GEI and they came out same day, while also cuting down the cost almost 80%. The guys that came out pointed out the leak immediately and got to work, correcting the issue same day!

Bluefrog was the second plumber I called in for a badly clogged kitchen sink. After 2 hours of trying to unclog, the first plumber told me that the line was probably broken and he needed to run a camera line in to determine where the break was - $$$$. I called bluefrog for a second opinion and their plumber had it cleared and draining perfectly in short order using a water pressure machine for a fraction of the previous estimate! He was friendly, personable and highly professional to boot! Highly recommend!

Great service! I had two clogged guest bathroom sinks that had plagued us off and on for years. Roto-Rooter fixed them for us. They were quick, reasonably priced, thorough. I was very pleased with the level of service that we received, and I like that we have a 6 month guarantee on their work.

I used them to redo my plumbing and appliances in the kitchen after the winter storm, evaluate a leak( which turned out to be a simple fix they told me how do it myself!), and recently they replaced my emergency water shut off valve. He worked in the rain and mud to make sure he completed the job , put all the dirt back, sealed up the whole in the wall, insulated the pipes outside, and caulked the small gap between the pipe and brick outside. Homeowners please do not allow these so called handyman mess with your plumbing. Call redfin and get it done right!!!!

I called Acacias Plumbing to replace an old water heater and to install a water filter on the main water line. I spoke with Hector and he came out to give an estimate and check the access measurements for the new water heater. He came back a few days later to install the new water heater and haul away the old water heater. They also installed the water filter. Everything went well and a month later there have been no issues and we are happy with both things that they installed. I would recommend Hector and Acacias Plumbing because they were knowledgeable, fast and professional.

WE WOULD NEVER HIRE BRADS PLUMBING AGAIN. Sent out 3 guys in two vans, one admittedly an apprentice that did not much more than stand around hold a ladder. Only one guy did any real work. They broke the access panel in the ceiling and made a makeshift replacement out of MY materials, BUT they were just going to tape it together and do nothing more, but I prevailed. For 2 SMALL leaks needing only 2 galvanized nipples, one coupling and 2 waterflex connectors, we were charged over $550.00 and not provided an itemized invoice. My husband was aghast at the bill and I called and asked for an itemized invoice detailing material and labor which I received promptly by mail. Brad showed he charged $9.00 to provide an itemized invoice. Padding the bill and charging for itemized invoices....what a shady businessman. BAD BUSINESS>

These guys sent over a crack head looking guy with tattoos al over him smelling like weed. Worked on our water heater and couldn't fix it so charged us over $300 to tell us must be the controller and that would be an additional $750 to put a $150 part in. I dont suggest anyone tyo ever use these guys. Reporting them to Bbb. Just taking advantage of the elderly is what tbey do.
