Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

My technician Ramses went the extra mile with our toilet repairs. He took the time to see what each issue was and explained in detail the way I could understand with my limited knowledge of plumbing. He called around numerous places and physically tracked down the parts we needed when the part item was very limited in stock. Great dedication and very hard worker!

The field supervisor was very professional and he made sure I understood the process of fixing my plumbing. He answered all off my questions and was very patient. The combo technician was also professional, by providing before and after pics of the repair and did the job in a timely manner. I’m very pleased with this company and I will use them again.

George was the service professional who came out to unplug a stopped up sewer line coming from the house. It was on a Saturday and he arrived around 7PM as stated. He was very cordial and started to unplug the line. It was difficult because there were 2 lines connecting to main sewer line. He worked diligently in solving the problem as it was not immediately apparent direction to root out problem. While he was working on problem, he was being contacted by another technician who was having problems. He remained calm while trying to take care of 2 problems simultaneously. He did a great job in remedying the problem out my house & showed no frustrations knowing he still had to go & help the other technician. I believe he finally left my house at 8:30. He is one of the most professional technicians I’ve ever encountered. Highly recommend him & RotoRooter.

I put in a ticket online for someone to clear my sewer line after my failed attempt. Original tech showed up promptly, was done in 20 minutes and was professional, he mentioned inspection was included in the cost and they would reach out to schedule. After a couple days it began to backup again. I put in a ticket for the inspection and they came out and took video showing an issue in the line. I received an excavation proposal and was told to get with the city/MUD in case its on their side.Reaching out to the MUD, they asked for the video to see if it was under warranty from work done a few years prior.After reaching back out to the inspector I was informed the video was not available and they only provided them after their work for warranty purposes.The technicians were professional, timely and knowledgeable but them not contact me for the inspection and their company policy about using video only to cover their work loses them 2 stars and most likely the excavation and repair if required.

Had a pipe leak. Made an appointment for the next bsiness day with the customer rep. Stayed home from work only to be stood up and plumber never came. Lost money from my pay and still had leaky pipes while no one showed up. They called the next day asking if I still wanted a plumber. No apologies. I couldn't trust them to lose money again. Our main line was clogged causing us to not be able to use our toilets or showers, not ideal at all. It was almost 5pm and the day of the bad storms but they showed up within a couple hours of my call and cleared the problem quickly. Our technician Jesse was great. Very friendly, funny and helpful. 4 stars because it was quite pricey for just running a snake through the line and taking about 30 mins to fix. I would pay it all over again though to have running toilets.

Kevin was amazing bc he explained everything in plain English. Even though he had to come out for 2 visits, exactly a week apart, he made sure that the job was done correctly. I certainly appreciated his professionalism.

Scheduling was easy. Plumber did show up on time and installedthe shut off valve under the kitchen sink. That was pretty much the only positive experience. The reason for my dissatisfaction was the exorbitant price i was charged for a less than 30 min job. I was charged $368 for the job that needed a $10 shut off valve. After that i replaced the 2nd one myself when the plumber said it would cost $368 each according to roto-rooter pricing sheet. The one i replaced was in a more difficult position than the one he replaced. I will not recommend this business.

Ky came out same day & solved our issue. He was competent, courteous and professional. Our sink stopped up on Saturday. Most plumbers wouldn’t come until Monday or Tuesday. We were desperate. Roto Rooter rescued our weekend.

First time to use your service. Tech was respectful of my home, wore protection on his shoes, polite, and courteous. Took him a long, long time to write up my invoice. I was surprised at the cost but I had a small window in which I needed the service to be completed. I’ll probably shop price more next time.

The technican Maxwell is amazing!! He went out of his way to help my husband retrieve a watch I accidentally flushed down the toilet! His manners and customer service were top notch! I can't speak highly enough about how impressive and professional he was! Excellent experience!

Very disappointed. I Called this company out for a pipe clog. The man ended up Flooding the house when removing the toilet, promised to send a restoration team out immediately but never heard back from them and they never showed. It’s been over a week now. Left the bathroom a horrible mess, did not clean up at all. The plumber was nice but lied to my face and ruined my ceiling as the water flood from the upstairs from him not draining the toilet tank and all the water poured into my ceiling destroying my sheet rock. Will have to pay $1000s to fix or will have a mold problem.I would not use them or recommend them to anyone. Not a honest or reliable company.Poor customer service or just no customer service at all.Kevin Astala

Inspected toilet and asked for $570 to fix a leak between toilet tank and bowl. Settled for $300. After disassembling, said it was impossible and asked for $970 to replace toilet. When I refused to proceed, asked for $200 for his time disassembling the toilet.Don't think I've ever met a plumber more expensive or unprofessional

I was very specific with the two issues I wanted addressed, only fixed the easier of the two problems (clogged sink) and suggested I pay another roto rooter employee to come back to possibly solve the other problem. Extremely dissatisfied.Will not be using this business again.

I called around 5pm for same day and these guyz were at my home around 7pm. Chase and his partner were professionals. They explained everything to me. They figured everything out pretty quickly. Both were very knowledgeable and did fantastic job. Also gave me tips on how to protect this from happening again!Highly recommended.

From the first call when we discovered there was a problem everyone was great! Ryan got here within the time frame we were quoted, was very thorough, explained everything and to the root of the problem quickly. Marc was out shortly after to assess water damage and discuss clean up. Water clean up team; Joshua and Christian then followed. Joshua and Christian were great and did an exceptional job! They were very thorough, explained everything clearly and answered any questions we had. They were very attentive and quick to respond to phone calls/texts. While it was unfortunate circumstances to have met everyone under it was a pleasure working with them and highly recommend.

$20,000 Vague InvoiceOn phone customer service for initial service request was great. Work performed by their field guys installing pipe was good and time efficient. Follow up calls and emails to them in regards to issues arising after service has been performed is horribly dreadful and lacking. They start to give you the run around. The price wouldn't be a problem if explained on paper in detail and service performed to completion. The supervisor supposed to come by after pipe installation to make sure everything was installed right and toilet and sink drain restored to normal function not showing up and becoming unreachable is completely unacceptable, especially after verbally telling me he'd be back the following day.I had tried to get a hold of the supervisor in charge multiple times post service because we had pending issues, no response. He only attempted to reach out to me once I made a formal complaint, a point at which I was no longer interested in having any phone conversations with him. It's quite frustrating when you get billed $20,000 yet the only explanation on invoice is 200ft (which was an appx. not even a definite).I have asked for videos/pictures promised and a detailed invoice which up until now is yet to receive. Honest work wouldn't have required me to make these many attempts trying to get answers and my pending toilet issue fixed. The company still hasn't sent me any email.They lack integrity and aren't transparent with the prices. When you request for detailed invoice you won't get it. I don't mind paying for a service that makes sense on paper, but when a company gives you an arbitrary exorbitant price without any mention of parts and/or labor, it's a red flag. I regret my decision going with them solely based on this issue of transparency and integrity.

Service was pleasant but expensive. We got the Inlet Valve fixed on the side of house that cost $1100. The problem was common he said and the Valve breaks all the time on homes. It required the plumber to dig up and cut and replace the pipe with a new copper valve that will be more durable for the future and he Insultaed the pipe for cold weather.

I’d been having toilet backups for over two years. Three times I had plumbers clear the problem. The third plumber said it’s cleared for now but I think it’s going to happen again. If it does call Roto Rooter because they’ll use cameras to get to the root of the problem. When it happen again I called Roto Rooter in Conroe who services Huntsville. Chase and Brandon cleared the clog same day. Jerod’s team then came later that same day and identified the cause which was a test balloon blocking the line. And the excavation team was here the next day for permanent fix. I won’t wait two years next time. I’ll call RR first every time. Jerod and the whole team where great.

Chase and Brandon who came to my house to fix my drainage were really great! They responded quickly and got the problem fixed easily! They were also really nice and professional. Great service!

The tech was very professional and did his job very thoroughly. He explained the root cause of the issue and provided suggestions on how to avoid this in the future. Highly recommend them.

The service technician was fantastic and did a fantastic job. He even noticed that our hot water tank was still under warranty so we saved money on buying a new one. It did take the company way too long to get us someone, almost two days. If it hadn’t taken so long it would definitely have been a full five star review.

Steve was on time, quick to complete the work, no fuss no muss. I was happy to pay the $355 for a clogged kitchen drain as I had tried a consumer grade drain snake and draino myself. He had it fixed in a jiffy and put back together in under an hour.Would happily use Roto-Rooter again if I hit a problem I can't solve on my own.

Joe the plumber was fantastic. He really knew his stuff. He could tell me with certainty what the issue was, and helped me decide the right course of action. Thank you Joe.Update. Cudos to Mark Angerstein!Joe the plumber was good, but I have to give a bigger shout out to Mark Angerstein! Without him I would have been floundering around this process and probably spent more time and money than needed. Mark came out multiple times without cost to me. He had the overview of what was required and what I should do, which were not always inline with his company making the almighty dollar. Mark thought about our needs, and what would cost us the least.Mark was exceedingly professional and courteous. I wish there were more like him out there! Super thanks to Mark for coming into our lives during this stressful time.If you are interested in the story: We bought a house and the next day I noticed water coming from under the floor boards in the kitchen. There was no water under the sink or anywhere other than coming from under the floor. Then we had a washing machine installed and on the rinse cycle it flooded the mud room. We called roto Rooter and they were willing to come out Saturday night! We ended up with Kyrell coming out Sunday morning. He was able to clear the line for the washing machine, and I was finally able to do laundry.I mentioned the water under the laminate flooring and Kyrell called Mark to have him come check it out. Mark was at the house waiting for us when we returned from lunch. After some consideration we decided to try to dry the floor on our own. Unfortunately, the floor was not drying, so the next day, Monday, I put in a request to Roto Rooter online to come out, and next thing I know Mark is on the phone, because he saw that we had asked for another visit. He was over in minutes and from there walked us through the process of tearing out cabinets and flooring to find the root cause of the problem. Do you remember, we just bought this house?Five massive fans and an industrial de-humidifier later the floor was able to dry up. Joe was the one who came out and advised it was the water line from the dish washer to the water line. Apparently, it had been installed incorrectly.Now, I am working on the repair and rebuild of a kitchen I just purchased one week ago! Mark was with me every step, from filing an insurance claim to getting all of the Roto Rooter people out with their various specialties. I would text and ask questions and he was always there to answer and support me in each phase. We are definitely blessed to have been connected with Mark! He also, gave me the name of a contractor for the rebuild who I will definitely use if he is half as good as Mark!Thank you Mark Angerstein!

Edit: From 5 stars to 2 due to and EVERYTHING Fernando touches, leaks. I believe this guy needs some retraining. Outside water shutoff valve busted couple months after it was installed NEW, first call back and today, just 5 months later Kitchen sink has major leak, ANOTHER callback after brand new piping was put in. Roto rooter overall seems like a good enough company but for all (and it's been ALOT) of money I've spent in 6 months repairing a home now I need to worry everytime Fernando appears what will be the repurcussions of his work.

On September 1, 2022 I scheduled an appointment for an free estimate to replace my water heater. Two technicians showed up to look at my water heater. I was asked by the older gentleman if I was the worker, at this time it was explained no I own the house. After they looked at my water heater I was asked by the older gentleman if I was going to get the work done today. I informed him no I have other companies coming out to give free estimates to see which company I will be using. At this time I was informed I owe a $69 dollar fee I asked for what I know I’m replacing the water heater. He explained since I did not get the work done I owe a$69 trip fee. The older gentleman then told his partner we will not charge him I asked for the estimate he refused stating I did not pay so I only get it on my email I explained that was fine. A few minutes later I received a call from billing right away a very rude women started yelling telling me I need to pay $69. I tried to explain I thought I was receiving a free estimate she said I need to pay the trip fee. After arguing with her I advised I will pay but I will not be doing any business with Rotor Rooter Houston in the future she stated fine and we ended the call. If you are shopping around Houston area for an estimate on plumbing I would go elsewhere.

We needed help fast and on a Sunday during a holiday weekend. They came out and got it done no problem.

Very fast service. I’ve used them twice, they have always been responsive. Excellent job clearing out tree roots and clogged pipes.

I had a bad situation at a rental house with tenants unable to flush toilets due to main line backup. After waiting 8 hrs the day before for ARS rescue rooter that never did show up, I called Roto Rooter at 11pm that night and they had someone out by 8:30am the next morning. Very fast and friendly service and I'll use them again if needed.

Roto Rooter has done a great job so far, I kept having an AC drain pipe clog and overflow the last few years. I worked with Mark Angerstein and Chase Hawk. They performed a thorough inspection and did efficient water mitigation while I was out of the country. Mark thoroughly explained the process, is always responsive via text or cell, and is very flexible and easy to work with. Chase gave me several options to fix the AC drain pipe, was very honest and did not do anything unnecessary when I explained what my HVAC people had already done. They both are very responsive and highly professional. I highly recommend them both.

I highly recommend Roto-Rooter for all your plumbing & water mitigation jobs. I had a wonderful experience meeting & engaging with both technicians, Felipe & James. They were absolutely phenomenal gentlemen, very kind & courteous, went above & beyond what was expected during the water mitigation process. They both explained any detail of any work being performed on a daily basis and answered all my questions, allowing me to gain full confidence in their knowledge in any work being done. They even handled my furniture & personal items with respect almost as if their own.

They came out and fixed the plumbing in all 3 of my bathrooms for an affordable price. As the technician was leaving, I inquired about a soft water system and he gave me Christian’s contact info.Christian was very prompt with getting back with me. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and did a great job explaining the best options for my home. I ended up going with the water softening system as well as the reverse osmosis water system in my kitchen sink.Damon did the actual install of the soft water system and reverse osmosis system. He did a great job with both installs. His work is top notch and the water tastes great. The soft water system is definitely a game-changer. The difference is like night and day with the water quality. Also, my skin and hair have never felt more soft.I definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for plumbing services, reverse osmosis system install, or soft water system installation. I will be using them again myself in the future.

Technician Edgar was great, but the call center overbooked for the day because it took 6 hours for someone to show up. He got here 2 hours outside of the 4 hour window that they had given me. I had a sick kid that I was hoping to get into the Drs office that day, but wasn't able to. The operator was outrageously condescending, rather than being apologetic or empathetic, when I called to check on our timeframe, saying that it might just be better for us to cancel. Never again.

Had a pipe leak in my bathroom. Called and scheduled a tech to come out and look at it. Waited 2 hours after when they were supposed to show up. Called and they said sorry it got canceled. Then hour later a tech showed up unannounced to me. I let them in to give me a price. I scheduled the pipe repair and the crew showed up same day. I didn’t realize that they sold me the pipe repair and all the dehydration repair work too. So then I had fans going off in my house for days. When I called and asked when they would be done and pick them up they kept saying we’ll have someone out there soon. Then when all that was said and done I get a call to pay my final invoice. The lady said you still owe us $800 on top of the $1000 you already paid. When I asked what those charges were for she replied doesn’t matter you just need to pay it. I refused until someone could explain the charges. This continued for some weeks, and no one at roto rooter could explain the charges yet wanted me to pay. Then I received a phone call from them stating they intended to file a lien against my home if I didn’t pay. I submitted and paid the invoice and still don’t know what I paid for.For a company of this size I was very disappointed on how they do business. To me I feel like I was hustled and bullied. Will never use them again.

Roto rooter was great and extremely helpful and professional when my water heater broke. They were quick to respond for the drying service. Felipe was my project manager and he handled everything and explained everything every step of the way. He was always polite and made sure I knew exactly what steps were taken place in my home. He always called ahead of time to schedule when to check on the home and was always on time. He was very professional and helpful. As a first time homeowner I was not aware of a lot of the process, he took the time to explain all the steps and made sure I understood everything that was happening in my home. Scheduled same day service for drain cleaning . Ky arrived within thirty minutes of when dispatch said he would. He looked over the situation and provided an overview of the work to be done and an estimate with various options . I chose the one that best suited my financial situation . He was quick and efficient and was completed in less than an hour.Friendly and professional guy and great service

First of all they were suppose to come Sunday July 31 between 12 and 4.They did not show nor did they call to tell his they were not coming, we wasted all day waiting.We have used your company several times for that same issue.Clogged sink.While our issue was not fixed due to septic system.The rating is due to the no show/no call and the service tech not cleaning the floor area where he worked or wipe up his foot prints.Previous service techs wiped up the mess they made.This was not a huge mess but the snake left shavings.Not sure if it was rust or dried gunk from another job. Gross.A 60 sec attempt would have been appreciated.

service carried out within 2 hrs of my call, representative named Luis arrived on time, was very polite and considerate of home areas, used shoe covers and covers for his equipment. Technician was extremely professional. Polite, clean, informative. And all around pleasant.Dispatch was not as helpful. Was told they would be out in a 2 hour window at noon. Called shortly after 2:00 and the woman was a little short, to the point I asked if I had upset her. Was told should be out in a hour or a little more.I called again a little after 4:00 and was told that I was next.Received a call at 4:45 saying he would be here shortly. She did not offer a ETA. Ianjed and was told 30 minutes. Let’s just say she was close.I own a service business and have never made a client wait around 5 hours.I told the tech about my wait and he told me he was 15 minutes away at a job at 2:00 and was dispatched to Pasadena from there and sent back to me.So perhaps, your company should get a better process to dispatch or give honest lead times.

I am proud to be a customer of Roto Rooter because they ALWAYS get the job done. I will say this last experience with Jesus and Brandon was by far my best experience with the company though. The technicians honestly went above and beyond and honestly almost brought me to tears with how hard they worked to get my issue fixed and how informative and kind they were to me after the fact! If you are looking for a plumbing company look no further Roto Rooter is definitely your guys!!!

I called after discovering a small leak in my garage on a Saturday evening. I was able to speak to someone right away and they scheduled me an appointment for the following morning. I was pleasantly surprised to find someone at my door about an hour later coming to inspect the leak. The following morning, I received a call from Roto-Rooter letting me know someone was en route and an ETA. The guy came, gave me a price and got to work. Couldn't be more pleased with my results!

Had my main line clogged. Called 2 more plumbers before calling Roto-Rooter. At first was disappointed that they’re not 24/7 service as they advertise on their website. Nonetheless, Roto-Rooter came the next day and did what the other 2 plumbers could not figure out. Other plumbers came looking for a quick job and get paid. I really appreciate Roto-Rooter keep trying until the solution was found. With experienced servicemen and the right equipment, this company has the tools for any plumbing job you need! The person who did the actual pipe repair was excellent--knowledgeable, responsive, professional. He did tell me as well that there would a water mitigation rep coming to see me in about an hour from job completion--this individual is yet to show.

Jayson and victor came out and worked Friday 6/3 and worked late until they got all the wet walls and floors and cabinets out of the house and drying fans in. Then was back the next morning at 8am to finish things and check readings. This has been the best experience so far from a plumbing company i have ever worked with. Thank you from the bottom of my heart my husband and I are so appreciative. I recommend Roto Rooter for sure.

Someone came out almost an hour later than they told us, pulled out what was clogging on line, left it on the street, and left. They told us someone would contact us for additional inspection / work but they never did. Not worth $400.

I did not feel valued as a customer. Scheduled an appt for Tuesday from 2pm-6pm. A field supervisor Dylan came by to take a look and photos, verified it was a p-trap leak and gave me his business card. Said a tech would be out in a few hours. No one arrived by 6pm. No one called. I called Dylan who said he would get back to me with an ETA. Instead a customer service rep called 10 mins later and said they’ve stopped work for the day and rescheduled for Wednesday between 8am - 10am.I took another day off work. Called their customer service at 9am and they then informed me my time was now 8am - noon, instead of 8-10am. Someone arrived around 11am. They said I not only had a p-trap leak but also a leak in the pop up assembly that could possibly fixed with tape or he could repair both for an extra few hundred dollars of course. He replaced the assembly and repaired leak. After he left I noticed that now my stopper would not fit the drain. I caught him outside still in his truck and asked about this and if he had a smaller stopper. He informed me I could get one from Home Depot.The workers were courteous but the customer service was terrible.

I called about a busted pipe in the wall behind our kitchen sink around 10pm and was scheduled for a plumber to come out the next day. When he came out, he was able to identify and fix the issue in less than two hours. He avoided cutting the wall as much as possible and worked efficiently to get the job done. Good communication, quick response times, and quick labor. Thanks!

Felipe and James did a GREAT job they were very informative and helpful! They did a great job drying my house and removing the damaged materials. Felipe answered all of my questions and took little to no time to respond when I contacted him. They were very friendly and I would definitely recommend him and use this company again!

Dustin and Jonathan did a great job! They came out to my house to fix a clog in our kitchen sink and explained the different services they were going to try. Very friendly, fair and very professional! They also took the time to explain where the clog was and what might help prevent it in the future. I will definitely recommend them to others .

I had Johnathan comes out to fix a leaky faucet in my guest bathroom and they were quoted as arriving between 8-10am and they were right on time as far as I'm concerned at 9am. They were nice, professional and very quick to acquire and change out the parts for the faucet. 10/10 would use again.

The technician arrived ahead of schedule (that was a VERY GOOD thing). He was personable and professional, explaining each aspect of the service to be provided and ensuring that each aspect of the service was what was needed. He was not satisfied with the results of his first attempt and used a larger machine to do the job to his satisfaction. He kept me advised of the progress of his work and involved me on aspects that he felt needed my participation. The Supervisor who came later to check the tech's results was personable and professional and asked me if I wanted to watch the video of the drain that needed cleaning. He explained what we were seeing as the video was being made.Very happy with the people and the job they did.

Do not want to be forced to pay for overpriced service. The technician was money driven didn’t really listen to me explain my needs. $800 for something I watched a YouTube video and fixed in 5minutes is completely unacceptable. Never using this service again. With the economy the way it is you’d think people would help instead of getting over.

The onsite crew was good and they were able to unclog our line; however, I was disappointed with the cost which seemed excessive at $430.00.Additionally, I was told after the job was done that the six month warranty we were initially told would be included in the $430 cost would be reduced to a 30 day warranty because roots were found in the line. Even though the paperwork we were given outlined a 6 month warranty on a residential job with roots in the line.Lastly, we were told by the onsite crew (plumber and his supervisor) that someone would be back the next day to camera the line between 8am - noon. To accommodate this appointment, I stayed home from work and no one showed up or called.Overall somewhat disappointing.

I had a broken pipe under my house foundation. Joshua Laws came from Roto Rooter and helped me. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Excellent care, attention to detail, responsiveness, professionalism. Felipe and his team did an extraordinary job of helping us deal with a challenging situation. He brought his team out during the night, removed carpet and baseboards, installed fans and dehumidifiers, and ensured the water was contained and removed swiftly to prevent further damage. He called before he came, arrived on time each day, and was very friendly and nice to work with.

A little too pricey but good service sorry I couldn't pay $4000 for a water heater but the guy that came and gave me a estimate was really information.

It’s wonderful to know there’s a plumbing company that can assist you with an overwhelming issue, such as a clogged drain pipe. Not only were they professional, respectful, and timely, they truly cared about my situation and wanted me to have my house back in working order with the least amount of stress. We had leak on our washer and looked like a clocked line, technician suggested snaking and charged us $330. It took less than one hour and we find out that there is a break in line that is why it was leaking. He did not mention that maybe line is broken and I think someone with professional experience should mention that before starting the job, so it was complete waste of time and money. But a supervisor came later and used a camera on line to find the break that we did not find the issue, he was very nice and helpful.

Scheduled an appointment through their website. Received a quick email confirmation. Technicians arrived promptly (actually early, after giving me a call). They quickly diagnosed and addressed the issue.While I hope that I don’t need their services again any time soon, it was a very pleasant experience.

Around 9pm I submitted a request online to have Roto-Rooter to come out the following day and unclog a drain. They called the next day around 7am to say that Fernando would be there before 9am. Fernando showed up around 8:30 am.Fernando was very friendly. He explained everything he was doing and provided recommendations regarding my issues and how to prevent it from occurring again. He worked quickly and cleaned up everything when he was done. I was very impressed with Fernando and the service that Roto-Rooter provides. I will definitely use them again in the future for my plumbing needs.

Put an order in online this morning for service, they were out within a few hours to work. Moved into new place and both bathroom faucets were leaking. I purchased new ones and needed them installed. Jonathan came out with his helper and they inspected everything before doing anything. Explained the process of installment and possible contingencies based upon the existing plumbing situation. It all went smoothly and the brand new faucets look awesome. They cleaned up after themselves and left it all tidy. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter, the price was reasonable for the time spent and work done. They are also very friendly and had no issues with the dog. Will be using them again for the kitchen project coming up soon.

We had a terrible water problem at our house on Memorial Day. We thought we'd have to wait for repairs, but Jesus, Brandon, Damien, and Chad came out and fixed it right away. Jesus came to the house and quickly found the issue with the toilet drain line. Unfortunately the problem is with the cast iron drain line and this led to a more expensive options to fix. I can at least count on them to find the problem and let me know what it will take to fix it.

My hot water heater stopped working. Mike Harris and his assistant arrived within an hour of my call and were able to get it fixed very quickly. They were extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated their fast, friendly customer service.

Charged $800 to remove toilet, snake main line, and put toilet back on ($400 just to remove toilet and put back on). However, they could've just used the vent above the master bath, which would've been easier access and not left a mess in our bathroom.Edit: Chas called and went over the work. Gave a credit, but even with that the job was 2x the cost of a competitor. They came out and fixed our issue same day, and the plumber followed company policy, which bumped the price up a bit.

We had an unfortunate toilet overflow. Felipe and James came out straight away after 10pm to get the clean up started with initial mitigation including putting out dehumidifiers and spraying material to kill germs and the smell. Next day they were there promptly to remove floors and drywall and lay out fans. Everything was done professionally and extremely well with solid communication throughout. Daily moisture checks until everything was dry and fans could be removed. Nice little touches throughout like noticing a leak from our water connections and getting a bucket in place to keep things dry. 10/10 would use again.

This company is good at taking advantage of you during your hour of need. Once you agree to use them then over time their true colors shine. Things that I was told would happen, didn’t. For example, I was told I would receive bids, and pictures and info would be sent to my insurance company. A repeated lie that never happened. They never remained in contact with my insurance company. Almost a month later I am still trying to get the final invoice to myself and my insurance and Roto rooter care specialist, Margaret is calling me a liar and saying it was sent instead of just resending the paperwork. Employees would either be no call no show, or else show up when I wasn’t home. I agreed for one person to have access to the key to my home and instead multiple had access to the key. The mitigation team created a fire hazard, left the toilet seat up, and at least once didn’t even flush the toilet, and left staples in my walls in 3 rooms. The estimate that I asked for relating to the new water heater wasn’t professionally done and I had to give them a copy of a professional estimate for them to understand how to do one instead of a hand written estimate that barely included any details. The final estimate looked like the person never used MS Word or any word processing program. They have you sign documents without explaining what the documents are or allowing you to read them. At final cleanup, I had to get them to repeatedly clean up and remove trash. The water heater was installed ok, but had to have another plumber come out to move the water heater so a door could be installed and to fill in holes. The plumber that originally did the work was very proud of his journeyman certificate and used that as an excuse to not explain anything to me. When things decided were done I still had issues and Margaret decided the best way to handle them were to harass me on the phone while I was having dinner and trying to relax. A month has passed since the work was completed and neither myself nor my insurance company have received the final invoice nor pictures. When I asked Margaret about it she would rather call me and the insurance agent a liar than just agree to resend them. Overall average work, horrible communication, rude behavior, and they did not know how to do paperwork properly for insurance companies.

Christopher W. was an awesome technician! Our townhouse experienced a sewage back-up issue that affected 6 units. He arrived quickly and was professional and knowledgeable about the issue and provided us all available options. We weren't able to resolve the issue completely but his service was more than appreciated for throwing everything at the problem.

Next time I contacted Rootor and Eric came out and advised it was the main line that continued to make my toilet overflow. He got the job fixed the right way. I had a clogged toilet and other businesses couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks. Roto-rooter scheduled me in for 2 days from my call. They came a little late but called very early on to let me know they were running behind. Fernando was my technician. He was very friendly and thoroughly explained the possible problems, solutions, and cost before doing anything. Luckily it was just a clog and he was finished very quickly. He also wore a mask and socially distanced when able, which I appreciated. He was also clean and careful to not leave a mess or causes scratches. He was very informative and gave me some good tips about avoiding future issues due to the type of toilet in my home. The cost was reasonable especially after an online coupon. I definitely recommend and will use them again if I run into another plumbing emergency.

Jonathan was amazing! We had just moved into our new house and suddenly noticed the tub and shower stall appeared to be filling with sewer water. It was nearly 9 PM, I called, and we had Jonathan onsite around 10 PM. He was polite, informative, and fast! He remedied the problem as best he could, and advised us that we had roots effecting our plumbing. He set us up to have a full check and quote for repairs within the week. He did not seem at all concerned by how late he had to service our property. I could not have asked for a better experience!!

Price gouging at its finest! I called this establishment to come out to fix 1 small drip. I was quoted over $500.00. There were two gentleman that came out. The tall guy(don’t know his name), processed to tell his partner to hush, be quit you don’t say anything when he was trying to tell my husband what he could possibly do to fix it himself because the estimate was ridiculously expensive. At that point I knew this appointment was going to be interesting, he didn’t even have respect for his co-worker in front of customers. The taller gentleman proceeded to quickly rattle off pipe measurements and this, that and the other. Then all in the same breath he told my husband now sir, all I need is the $ 69.00 for coming out and we can get out of your hair. Mind you now this whole conversation took every bit of 3 minutes tops. My husband followed them outside to make payment, the taller gentleman noticed a truck (collectible) sitting in the driveway that he had no problem standing there discussing for over 10 minutes. This young man has no customer service skills what’s so ever. And seriously $500.00 for a drip!!! Do better Roto-Rooter do better.

Josh Laws did an amazing job today when he had came out to check out our pipes with a camera and was extremely friendly and overall a great interaction, at the moment we need a bit of time to decide but we definitely will reach out to him directly about this whole situation. The price was high, and I felt they used scare tactics to convince you to replace instead of repair, but since I just wanted to have hot water and get back to my routine with minimal effort, I agreed to replace my water heater. $2,600 and a couple hours later, I could enjoy hot water and the peace of mind I have a new unit. The techs were polite and efficient. It's the value that is questionable, but if you have the money and want a quick and reliable fix, sure.

This was a difficult puzzle to figure out, but with the help of Steve, Victor, Johnathan, and Kevin, we found the AC drain line that was punctured with a brad from when the house was built. It only started leaking now because the nail finally corroded so bad, the hole opened up.

The time window was between10am and12pm. They did not show up until 11:55am. They wanted to charge me $350 to change one dishwasher hose. I paid the $68 trip charge, and fixed it myself for $45. The tech said they charge $350 /hr. Don't Call For Small Jobs.

Christian Jordan was great! He explained everything he would do and the charges before hand so there were no surprises. He was friendly and made me feel at ease with the whole process. I had to get a pipe in my yard replaced due to tree branches piercing the pipe, and he and Damien were able to square away the dig crew to replace the pipe for the very same day! Would highly recommend Roto Rooter, same day service and competitive pricing.

It all started when my AC stop working. Had a AC tech come out. He informed me the drain pan was back up and it connected to the upstairs restroom sink drain before the p-trap and showed me were it was connected at and he couldn't do the work, he told me to call a plumber!So I called Roto-Rooter up and I was surprised they could send a out a plumber that day at before 2 clock about 30 later, I was called and informed a plumber will be at my house in about 45 minutes. Within about 20 minutes the plumber was here. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional he check the drain and yes it was severely clogged up.He even cover wheels on the auger so there will be no dirty tracks on my carpet.If you every need a plumber Call Roto-Rooter first in the long run it will save you a lot of time.

I was extremely pleased with the service provided, from scheduling to the assigned technician and in between, it was all top notch. I was going to call our regular plumber first, but gave RR a call instead and I’m glad I did. 100% satisfied.

First time using them because I was worried I might get overcharged and figured a big chain would hopefully have some set prices and hopefully employees paid well.I went online and scheduled around 7am because my kitchen sink had clogged the night before. I figured it probably wouldn’t work, and would call around 9/9:30 to check up on who had(n’t) received my schedule inquiry. Sure enough, to my surprise, I got a call around 9:15 that a plumber should arrive within 30 minutes, and Chris showed up around 9:45!When he came in, he was wearing a mask and put on bootie things around his boots so my house wouldn’t get dirty - thanks! - and inspected the drain, gave me an explanation about what was going on and a price. Before he went to do the work, I had a price (** pro tip: check the website for deals! I got $75 off for a food can drive, I gave 3 cans!) and signed the paper and he was off! The drain unclog/snake price was $405 (minus $75 = $330) I thought it might have been high, but in the end it was totally worth it! He went above and beyond in my opinion.He also explained there was a 6-month ‘guarantee’ so if it clogged again in 6 months they would come back, FOC. Plus, if he couldn’t fix it, no charge.He used the regular snake, but after about 45 mins, went to get the thicker one - I don’t think he totally had to do that, I didn’t know that was a thing and probably wouldn’t have known a difference - but he wanted to get it totally cleaned out!He gave me some tips and told me to use Enzymes (vs Drano-type products), and that he had a product but I could also buy it in a store.I did have a little clean up after he left, but it was minor.Great service! I would say first and foremost because they got right back to me and sent me someone right away. PLUS he got the job done, and well!Thank you Roto rooter!

I made the call to have my kitchen faucet replaced late evening yesterday. The tech (Fernando) was scheduled quickly and arrived on time the next morning. The scheduling and dispatch staff is courteous and friendly. Fernando was professional, scoped the task and quoted the labor cost (reasonable after discount). I am extremely disappointed on this company. I requested services for 2 small leaks one in the master shower and one in the kitchen. There were 2 guys that came the same day and i was surprised because the appointment was not until 2 days later. The guys said, I have the appointment for today and he looked at the job and said well, some one will come out on the schedule day then. To make a story short, I met with Jesse, the technician and he looked at the job and was charging me for things that were not needed. After a few discussions I decided not to pay for the job because it was WAY to expensive for the small jobs. The technician could care less and charge me $70.00 just to show up and look at the job. I would not recommend doing business with this company, Its a rip off!!

I complete a request online for services to be completed for my garbage disposal. The tech who came out, Michael felt that he could assess the situation by just taken my none expertise to say that the disposal needed to be changed completely. While his assessment may have been correct, I would have felt much better had he even looked that the disposal to confirm that it was actually something that needed to be changed. He then continued to tell me that he didn’t have to look at the garbage disposal because he has been doing plumbing for 20 years. Of course I will be using another company and never using Toto-rooter they are expensive and unprofessional. Stay away from this company they are concerned about there bottom line and not helping people.

I can’t say enough nice things about Mark Angerstein and Jason who were the crew that came out to handle the mitigation at my home caused by a busted pipe due to the freeze.These guys are a two-man show they did everything on their own and worked from morning to night to try to get the processes going at my home. These guys are impressive and very hardworking! It’s truly inspiring to say the least.From the moment Mark walked into my residence he honestly didn’t waste any time. After Mark explained the entire process he got right into it and started working, I was blown away by their work ethic as they stayed working late that evening.Mark and Jason worked as quickly and efficiently each day. Any items I didn’t get to pack up and move out of the way they packed, labeled,  moved and handled with care. Had a horrible day today. The other plumber said I didn't have a leak which was fine until my ceiling fell in. I called these guys, the plumber Raj was very professional, tracked the leak and fixed it. Eric with restoration was phenomenal, is taking care of everything so we can get out lives back. We had our french drains flushed out due to some drainage issues we were having in our back yard. Rotorooter used a water jet system to flush the drains. Our technician, Sebastian Rodriguez (technician #2541) was THE BEST. First of all, Sebastian took his time and answered all of my questions regarding the process. He explained everything thoroughly and made it easy to understand. When it came to doing the actual work, I asked him if I could watch him and he allowed me to follow him as he was doing the job, explained each step as we went along and again, he answered every one of my questions. It was obvious to me that Sebastian is an experienced professional and that he cares about providing quality work and customer service. In the process of performing the work, Sebastian discovered 6 drain covers around my house that were covered in thick grass. I didn't know they even existed.I felt he went above and beyond by digging each one out individually to make sure the job he was doing was done right. He made a big impression on me because a job that he expected to take him 20 minutes took just over an hour. At every step in the process, Sebastian exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Sebastian and the Rotorooter team to have any of your drainage work done in Houston.

Needed the guts under a sink replaced. The original p trap ect were decades old and needed to be replaced. I was very happy with the plumber and the work done but I feel it was considerably more expensive than it should have been. Entire visit including a trip to the store to buy parts was less than 45 minutes and price was 557 dollars after discounts and coupon. It's done correctly though and I didn't have to mess with it.

Alvaro was very professional and worked really fast to unclog the plug in my toilet!! We had scheduled the appt for later in the day and they called telling us that they could come within the next hour! Would definitely work with them again!

Had an outdoor faucet break off inside of my brick wall and had to cut the water to my house. They were the only company I could get to come out the same day. We were about to cut a hole in the drywall to cap the line because it was not accessible from the exterior of the house, without cutting a hole in the brick. The plumber last second decided to crawl up in the addict, locate the line that fed that faucet, and determined that it did not feed anything else. He cut and capped it in the addict and saved me from having to do drywall repair as well. Will definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with the service. Roto-Rooter was easy to contact to get an appointment and there was excellent follow up letting me know when to expect the technician. Marty (Tech 1927) did a great job. Very personable. Came the first day and assessed that I needed a new faucet. Came back the next day to install what I had purchased.

I've used Roto-Rooter several times in the past 6 years and they have never disappointed me. I get a quick appointment even at odd times or days of the week and no extra charge for that. I called about a problem with the pilot light staying lit at a lease property we own. I never like my tenants to go without the comforts of home, so I called on a Saturday and requested service on the weekend so they would not have to take cold showers, even though I thought we might incur extra cost. I was informed there would be no extra charge unlike what they told me at Church services which quoted a $ 189 Service fee!!! The Roto- Rooter dispatcher was very professional and explained their company policy and scheduled an appointment for Sunday morning. Mike Harris was our service technician and did a great job fixing an issue by replacing a Thermal Coupling part. He was a very nice cordial person and explained the problem completely for me. I appreciated his ability to get it repaired within an hour. I will definitely call them again and will ask for Mike.

I cannot stress enough the great level of customer service and dedication the excavation team had. What should have been a 1 day job turned into a 3 day due to circumstances beyond their control, They kept me informed and up to speed on what they were doing and were an absolute joy to have working. Roto-Rooter has well trained specialist for unclogging the home drain lines. They used a hydro-jet machine, which is like a power washer made to clean drain lines. The technician was expert in the use of the equipment and precautions because of the high pressure water cleaning.The drain lines are now perfectly clear. He inspected the lines with a camera and allowed us to view the whole plumbing drain system.All very professional, fast and efficient.The cost was a little higher than I expected. They got the job done when the regular plumber failed.I will call Roto-Rooter again, and recommend them to everyone.

Our technician, Jonathan assisted us with our plumping issue on 3/22/2021. He had all the tools on deck to address any issue, gave us a quote and fixed our issue in one visit. Great work but WAY over priced. They REALLY need to let you know the price up front. I will be looking for someone who can do the job at a more reasonable price next time. They changed to bathroom facets (and I had already bought the hardware) and I was charged over $1400,00 - yes they were available on the same day I called. Yes, they came quickly. Yes, they did a good job. Yes, they charged WAY TOO much.Update - 3 days later, after MUCH communication with the company they brought the price in line with what I had been TOLD. Kudos to them that they stepped up. Change from one star to three stars.

Tried to schedule them to come and they needed us to respond within three minutes of their txt in order to confirm the appointment. Of course they called instead of text (using a different number no less) and that doesn’t work for us since we work during the day and do not accept calls. We waited for the text all day only to call later and find out that we needed to reschedule for the next day. It’s frustrating because I haven’t showered since our water doesn’t work and I’m sitting here having to wait another day before we can get anyone to simply see what the problem is. Pardon if I sound frustrated but I kinda am ??

After the first technician failed to come to my house at the scheduled time I contacted RotoRooter again. They were happy to work with me and schedule my appointment at the exact time and day I requested instead of giving me a time window as normal. Mike showed up promptly and took a look at the problem in my attic. He quickly diagnosed the cause of the leak in my water heater and installed the new parts and had everything working and cleaned up in about 30 minutes so I could return to work. He was a nice guy and I appreciated his customer service and expertise. The actual service was 5 stars. Unfortunately, the first technician not showing up cause a bit of a headache, thus the 4 star review.

I called y’all out and as the technician was pulling in the driveway we hit the water main with a trenching machine. He assessed the situation determined a call back was necessary and was back the next morning and fixed the bathroom. Professional from start to finish and understanding when the unexpected happens. We had such a great experience with Roto-Rooter that I had to take the time to share! It all started with my storm drainage overflowing every time it rains. I called RR and was able to get an appointment within 24hours. A gentleman name Justin came out and placed a hose into the curb drainage and flush out the pipes. All sorts of junk came out from 2 huge rocks to plenty of backed up dirt, leaves and even tree roots. The tree roots brought me concern, Justin said he can have a supervisor run a camera and see more of what’s going on. Damian came out the same day that evening even though he was wrapping up his last appointment; he got me in. Damian was extremely professional. He put the camera through the drainage and found stoppage in the pipes where roots grew through the pipes. He gave me a quote and processed paperwork to change out the pipes. Edgar the plumber came out and replaced new pipes and was also professional. He completed the project in a few hours. Damian came back out and did a site check to make sure he can run the camera through and no challenges. I’m completely at awe with the professionalism that these young men displayed and how quick everything happened. I totally recommend them and give a 5 Star rating for representing Roto-Rooter so well. You have 3 gentlemen for sure that loves what they do. Thank you for the seamless process.

Highly recommended! We had one plumber come previously and did not have the right tools to handle the job, then ghosted us when we asked when he was coming back to finish the job. Called roto and they sent someone out the same day. The technician was a king. Even though we discovered that our home was piped incorrectly (would have never known this were not for the technician) he worked his face off and successfully cleared the clog for us despite adverse plumbing conditions.

Our water heater was not working for a week. We finally called Roto Rooter and they were out the same day for an estimate. Christian Jordan #179 He was very thorough in fixing the clog by putting the snake in several times and testing to make sure it was unclogged. He had great personality and he gave us ideas as to what to do in the future. He was the best in spending time with us in making sure we knew what he was doing every step. He spent over 2 hours working on the clog in heat index of 111 degrees! We have had to use services like his over the years and we can say he provided the best service in listening and taking care of us that we have seen in a long time. It was a very bad experience to use Roto-Rooter service and will not use them again for 2 main reasons:1. They were not on time. Scheduled service between 9-1. They showed up after 2 pm after many phone calls!2. They charged me almost $400 just to replace the dishwasher hot water valve under the kitchen sink! It was a total rip-off claiming 2 hours of labor on the receipt.I advise against using Roto-Rooter because you throw your money down the drain. What a shame!

Our drain service tech was Christopher Williams and he did an excellent job unstopping the drain in the master bathroom sink. He was professional and courteous. We would definitely call him again for any problems.

I am quite pleased with my experience with this Roto-Rooter location. A pipe in my attic started leaking, and they were able to send someone out to look at it in a reasonable amount of time. Mike (2627) did an excellent job with the fix. He arrived on time, gave me an estimated cost before starting the work, and showed me what he was doing during each step of the process. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I feel assured of the high quality of the work and of the products that were used. He finished the job quickly also. We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday evening and was worried we would not find a plumber to come out. I called Roto-Rooter and they were able to get someone out to our home within an hour and a half with no extra travel or weekend fees! Our plumber Joseph was super nice. He explained the fees for the job and got to work right away. He unclogged our main sewer line in about 30 minutes! He was very kind and seems to love what he does. I am glad they have a 6 month warranty on their services and have plumbers on call 24/7. That was a life saver!Will be using them again in the future.

Only work that was required to repair our sink was performed; no other attempts were made to upsell other products or services. Very satisfied!

Called in the roto rooter team to unclog the bathroom drain. Cleaned up the drain in 10 minutes.Pros:Guy showed up in time, same day service. There were no issues in scheduling them.Cons:- Pricey, charged $400 for cleaning the drain (pulling hair and gunk using a snake)- The plumber's english was very bad, so did not really understand what he was saying- I have a plumbing re-route under the house, explained him that there is a cleanout 10 feet from the bathtub and it should be an easy clean. He made it sound like he was going to dig under the house and it will take him hours to do it. I understand in plumbing lot of things are unpredictive but in this roll of dice I lost.I would have appreciated if he was a little honest after i told him what the issue was, he still said the re-route has nothing to do with it and it will still take him time to clean broken pipes. I didnt argue with him because he got the job done at the high price he quoted.WIll i call them again? Maybe yes, but only if the situation has a high level of urgency. Otherwise i will call in some local plumber who can do it for fraction of the cost.*****Update****Their support team called me after investigating the instance. I was refunded $75. So I do appreciate their customer service and willingness to serve the customers. Might call them again depending upon how urgent the situation is.

The serviceman arrived on time and quickly solved the problem of 20 years of accumulation in the buried kitchen sink pipe that exited the house. All costs were on the fee schedule and disclosed upfront. The service itself is a little pricey, but that seem to be the nature of plumbing services. I was able to apply a $75 discount. The serviceman was a very nice man who was not only courteous and friendly, but also took care to leave no messes.

Samuel our tech for Houston was amazing! I placed the call at 7:30am, our tech showed up in the time frame I was given. He examined the other lines and informed me that it might just be hair stuck in the drain. 15 minutes into placing the snake down the drain, my tub started draining properly again. He waited an additional 15 minutes with the water running to see if the issue was completely resolved and it was, i was told i have coverage up to 6 months if the issue occurred again. I made my payment and he left after he cleaned up. I was able to have a shower by 10:30. I Loved the customer service, timing and the courtesy call letting me know he was turning down my street.

My hot water heater burst. I went online, was able to schedule a free estimate for the same day. They called ahead of time and arrived when promised. The tech was very nice and seemed to know his craft very well. I am very happy with the service received and the price quote, which they stuck to. The tech was also very fast, yet I never felt rushed. He completed the job before the time he told me.

My hot water heater went out and I called them to come to relight it. They charged me $230.00 and stayed perhaps 15 minutes. My family and I went out of state the following day, due to it being Memorial Day weekend. Get back yesterday, no hot water.

Great experience with rotorooter. I had an emergency plumbing issue at 1 am. Dispatch was able to send someone to my house within the Hour. Our Plumber Joseph was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to fix the issue right away. I do recommend this company and will be using them in the future.

My water heater stopped operating. Dan inspected it and got it turned on after some trial & error but said he didn't know why it went out. He said he could clean the screen but said it looked clean and if I wanted him to clean it he would but he would have to charge me upwards of $300 if he spent too much time here. I told him I didn't know what the water heater needed, that's why I called your company. He said if I continue to have problems call Whirlpool, the manufacturer. He said it still should be under warranty since I bought it in 2015. He charged me $115 and wished me a good evening.

I live in the Richmond/Houston area, and had a pipe crack outside that resulted in a very small leak - enough, though, to know that if I didn't fix it right away the small leak would become a large leak very quickly. I looked at it a bit myself, and probably could have fixed the issue. Spending all morning or afternoon outside in 100 degree weather, and multiple trips to home depot wasn't my idea of fun, though.Called Roto-Rooter, and they arranged for a plumber (Vernon #831) to come out the same afternoon. He arrived within 30 minutes of the estimated time, and was polite and courteous. He gave me a quote right away, and though a bit high it was still better than spending all afternoon fighting with it to fix it myself.After a trip to home-depot, he had the problem fixed within 15 minutes. He told me that there's a 1-year warranty on the repair, and we finished up.Given that I didn't have to handle everything myself, and given that there is a 1-year warranty on what he did, I'm happy to have paid the bill.

I used to use Roto Rooter when it was convenient. Yest, you pay a premium but usually not by much. This last quote was grotesquely over priced by at least 850%. You read it correctly, that is how high they tried to charge for a service. At least $600 above what that job would cost for a licensed plumber.

Called at midnight to schedule an appointment for 8am. Person on the phone answered within 2 rings of the phone and was very helpful. Got technician 6647, Hidajet. Absolutely pleased with Hidajet. Very friendly and informative. He was upfront with pricing and went the extra step to even take his shoes of when he went inside my home. He diagnosed the problem as an outside issue and was able to clear the drain. We worked together to determine the best course was to get a camera tech out to make sure there was no further damage, no extra charge for that. Andrew came out within the hour and he impressed me even more with his knowledge and straightforwardness. We eventually found out that a city contractor had crushed my drain pipe when installing a new utility pole. I was able to obtain their info and pass it along to Andrew who did all the negotiating to get them to pay for the damages on my behalf. He even got the foreman to cut me a check for the original service call I paid for with Hidajet! The issue was promptly fixed the next morning and Andrew even came back out again to make sure the issue was fixed and there was no further damage. Very very rare in this day and age to find a company that is prompt, professional, and caring about their customers. I will absolutely be calling them in the future if need be.

Roto Rooter is a good company with good staff who are willing to help. However, one thing to note is that they do not keep to time, you will need to constantly be on top of calling them and reminding them. Their excuse is usually 'no one at the company communicated to me that i need to be at your place'....sucks!!!.One staff i would like to appreciate 100% for his professionalism and help is Damien Euell. He was very nice, kept to time and provided good advises.

Service to our water heater was impeccable. Our technician Marty was very courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and outstanding overall. The repair only took about an hour and half just as our tech had said it would, not to mention he was on time on a bad weather day in Houston. I just needed to replace the shut off valve on my shower, but that service costed me $500. The part was $107 and labor wat $365. This is ridiculous, the tech worked on shower for about 30 mins and the parts only costed $30 online. This job should have only costed $200 at max, I feel like I was riped off.

I called Roto-Rooter first thing in the morning when my toilets and shower backed up. They sent Freddy (#3702) right away. He was very knowledgeable and explained the I had a break or separation in the line to the city sewer and it would likely continue to back up after he cleared it if it did not repair it. It had backed up twice already in one week! He did his best to get me a good price and had another team come and repair the break the same day. They gave me a 5 year warranty on the work and also 1 year on any blockages. I would highly recommend him and Roto-Rooter!

The day before New Year's Eve, I was checking the bathroom and noticed water on the floor and a bolt that was leaking. It was about Noon. I called RotoRooter right away and they told me they could have someone there by 4:00 p.m. I have used them before and it was right before the holiday so I said it was OK. An hour later, Garrett was at the door and was I happy to see him. He found the problem right away and not only did he fix it properly but he also check the guest toilet to make sure that was running OK. John came to our house first to check out our main line issue. All three toilets in our home were either flooding or out of order. This was AFTER I called 6 other local plumbers who claimed to be 24 hours, but could not send anyone until the following day. John quickly realized our problem was major and Damien came out to send a camera down the line. Long story short- tree roots and a crack in the pipe lead to a very expensive repair. Both men were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. Damien immediately had a team out the very next day to excavate and replace the whole line. After the repair, Damien was quick to follow up with photos and a home visit post-work. 10/10 service. Pleased.

Roto-Rooter was incredibly helpful when I recently had an issue with my tub backing up. We had all the pipes replaced in the past couple years as they were old, so I was incredibly nervous that there might be a recurring problem. Tech 979 came out, found a quick (and less expensive) fix for unclogging the drain and all was taken care of! I called and had service in less than an hour and everything is functioning perfectly.

I had a bad water heater and Mike Harris #2627 came on Sunday to assess the situation. He returned Monday morning with a new water heater and did some additional work to fix a coding problem with the relief outlet. He was very professional, personable and friendly. Customer service person was very helpful, kind and friendly. She understood my dilemma and was able to get a tech out with an hour. The Tech arrived and was very knowledgeable and friendly, the clearing of the drain took all but 2 mins with a snake, and then the pain of being charged a ridiculous amount of $205 dollars! Really!!! I appreciate my commode drain working again but My suggestion would be that you revisit your pricing on minimal work regarding simple drain stoppage.

Used Roto-Rooter to have a vanity installed in the bathroom. Initially, Technician # 2212 did the job, but it was not correctly done. I contacted Rotor Rooter and Jim, the General manager, took complete ownership of the issue. He promptly had a master and near-master plumber respond, evaluate the issues, and correct the job at no additional cost. They did a fantastic job and resolved all issues. They cleaned up after themselves and remained professional throughout the entire project. It has been relayed that the initial technician is no longer with the company. I give Roto-Rooter 5 stars for acknowledging the problem, and promptly responding to resolve it. And the workmanship was spectacular.

First week in December we had our main drain backup. They came out, cleaned the drain. Then another team came and ran a camera down to make sure there were no other problems. While they were doing to I asked how much to use the camera to look at the drain by the kitchen from the outside of the house. They found a broken pipe.Tuesday they arrived around 3 PM, dug under the house and replaced the broken pipe. All done within 3 hours. I found the price to be very good and they deducted the price I had paid for the original drain to be cleaned. I cannot recommend highly enough!Jerry

Called Roto-Rooter and even though we waited 3 hours longer than our 12-3pm window it was well worth the wait when our plumber came. Outstanding service and experience all around. The technician, Mike Harris, arrived early and he listened as I explained & showed him the problem. He then explained to me what was going on; what repaired would need to be made; and the costs associated with the repair. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Although I as a homeowner did not like the pricing and thought it to be rather high/expensive I proceeded to let him do the job. I was most impressed with the after summary Mario provided me on how to take care of a hot water heater to keep it working and things to do yearly. Despite the pricing Mario made it worthwhile providing the valuable information and I will more than likely use Roto Rooter again!

I woke up on a Saturday morning to find my toliet clogged and standing water in the shower. A google search led me to Roto Rooter. Within an hour, a service member was displaced to my place. It turns out I had a very serious problem, but he was very helpful and got going right away. The services are quite pricey and they overcharged me accidentally on one instance, but after some calls to management, they did refund me what was overcharged.

Sewer backup. I’m a fairly diy guy, didn’t have a rooted or time to pick one up from Lowe’s/HD. Submitted an online request last night for a simple shut off valve replacement for 4 toilets, they came today. Fernando was very knowledgeable and quite professional. Over the counter remideis were not effective. The operator said that some one could be out later in the day to take a look at our issue. Appointment was scheduled for 6:00pm. Their dispatch office called multiple times to see if I was available a couple hours early, but unfortunately I was not (it was nice of them to try to get to us earlier). The service technician that showed up was Sebastian. He was very courteous and professional with his assessment of what our issue was. He quoted a fair price for the work performed and was great at answering all the questions we had. After he resolved our drainage issue, Sebastian explained some preventative maintenance that we could do to not come across this problem again.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with Roto-Rooter. The technician they sent to me did not seem to really care about his job and was back and forth about the price to replace a Moen hot/cold water cartridge. He walked in the room and just took my word for what was wrong with the hot water, which I had googled the problem, said oh those Moen cartridges are about $120, they are expensive. He didn't even turn the water on or pretend to do diagnostics. Then went to his truck and wrote up a quote that said the cartridge was only $15 dollars. I signed and agreed to the work. Then he went back to his truck and called my cell phone from the truck and said he needed to go to home depot cause he didn't have the cartridge on is truck as previously stated and returned with a receipt that says it was $50 dollars. Already I have lost faith but I didn't listen to instinct and let him proceed with the work. During the work of aggressively pulling the old cartridge which had been there for 11 years, he ruined the position of the piping which led to a gap between the tile and the tub down spout. He claims it must have been like that already but I watched the process as it happened. I pointed out this new problem and he says all he can do is caulk it. Mind you this new gap is about 1/4 inch and looks bad. He didn't even caulk in the area he worked in where the shower handle was. I'm super disappointed and wish I had have stuck with John Moore or tried someone new.Update: After making a phone call to management, Roto-Rooter sent a more competent technician out and fixed the problem and now I am satisfied with the work.

I had a slow leak from an upstairs toilet that had been going for some time before it reached the ceiling where poured through. We had people from several departments walk us through every step, no surprises and was relatively fast work. For having such bad news it wasn’t a terrible experience to get through it.

While having to get your main plumbing line unplugged is never a fun experience, I will admit that Roto Rooter certainly helped ease the pain. Damien was great helped us out a lot with our house right after the heavy rain and was able to fix our plumbing problems within the day. My experience with Roto Rooter has been absolutely terrible. When I first looked them up online, I saw all the good reviews and figured this would work out great for a leak that developed in my house. So I called them a few days ago to schedule an appointment in the 4-6 pm time slot and answered all their questions to classify my leak and get the right assistance. The day of my appointment, the dispatcher that first called me (Jarell) was very polite and courteous and asked me additional questions to ensure that he sent the correct technician to my house, and he informed me that he'd be in touch. So I left work in time to be home for the appointment window and 6pm rolls around and still no follow up call. Around 6:30 pm I proceed to call dispatch and a lady picked up this time. She informs me that I have to keep waiting as the technicians are very backed up. and she informs me that there is no possible way to get a time estimate. At almost 8pm, she finally calls me back and proceeds to ask me what kind of leak I have and what type of service I need (this is now the third time I've answered this question) and she tells me they only have people available to fix a clog not a plumbing leak (which I had originally specified) and that I have to continue to wait for her to see if a plumber will be available sometime tonight. She repeated again that there's no way to estimate what time and if he will even be available. I have already wasted hours waiting for a service person to show up, and now they expect me to stay up even later with no time estimate and no guarantee that a technician will even come by tonight. This is ridiculous. I hope no one else will have to go through a situation like this.

REVIEW UPDATE: Roto Rooter contacted me regarding my review and they offered me $200 to write a positive review and still NO solution to my issue. DO NOT BOOK WITH ROTO-ROOTER! They are a nightmare. We had a pipe burst in our attic that went down to one of our bedrooms and flooded the room, so we called Roto-Rooter and they sent a technician out. It was maybe 5:30-6:00 and they said he would arrive in 30-45 minutes and he did not arrive until 10:00 at night and he looked at everything and decided that he did not want to do the job, leaving everything STILL LEAKING WATER and he wouldn’t even help us turn our water off because our valve is in the attic by the burst pipe and I guess he didn’t want to get wet leaving us with water leaking all over our bedroom all night long causing us to have to replace all of our tile. They gutted the walls and insulation and said they would be back within a few days to remove the tile. I did not hear anything for almost a week but they called and said they wanted to come out and complete the work. They arrived and said that because this job has taken so long that they are no longer authorized to remove the tile and that we need to contact our insurance to have a contractor come out and remove it. I thought this was completely absurd so I called my insurance and I found out that Roto-Rooter lied directly to my face and they told my insurance company that they did not want to continue the job because they would have to remove the tile in my ENTIRE HOUSE and it would cost too much and they are now REFUSING to service us. My insurance company forced Roto-Rooter to complete the job (which all they had to do was remove the tile in a small bedroom) because they knew what they were trying to do was unethical. As you could guess since Roto-Rooter didn’t want to remove the tile or continue any work to begin with, the next work they did was completely awful and I had to have somebody else come out and fix my floor after they damaged it. I’ve had such a headache with this company that I don’t even care at this point I just want this nightmare to be over and prevent this catastrophe from happening to any other customers. I wish I would have gone to Servpro because everything would have been fixed within 4-5 days with no headaches. Please steer far away from this shady business.

We have used Kyle twice and he has done a superb job installing 2 toilets and fixing leaks. He went above and beyond by adding an additional beam to support to the pipes underneath and raising and levelling the flange. He left our bathroom clean and did a great job caulking. The person answering was professional.The gentleman who came to fix a stopped kitchen drain very professional.My problem was the fee was extremely high for a 15 minute service $359.00, they did drop off $100.00 after calling. I was having a slow-drain issue in the kitchen and master bathroom that was giving me headaches. I paid 325, down from 425 as quoted from Chase to get the drain cleared and have the camera ran. He didn't have the camera on him and would have someone sent out. I approved the work and he unclogged the kitchen in less than hour using the power drain cleaner and plunger. He took a look around the outside since I'm on a septic system and gave some advice and knowledge on what he thought was happening. For the moment I was satisfied, wrote the full check and signed the invoice. Then hurried back to work.Well turns out it's been very difficult to have someone come out and run the camera. When I called I was told by Chase he had quoted incorrectly so there was something going on there with his manager but that they would still honor it. I gave two phone numbers as I'm at work all day until 5. I did notice a missed call the following day on my work phone # at 7-8 pm but no attempts at dialing the other number provided which is my cell. I called Chase once again and mentioned to please use the other number. He said he would have his manager call, no call. The kitchen sink has remained clear but my bathroom drain was getting worse. So that's $325 for the hour it took to clear only one of the drains. Turns out the kitchen and bathrooms have a different route. I rented the power drain cleaner from home depot at less than 60 dollars for a few hours, ran it through the bathroom lines and VOILA, clog is gone. So I ended up without the camera service and only half of the drains fixed. Having a little knowledge in plumbing can save you hundreds. You learn from experiences.

I would actually give them NO stars if possible. VERY poor customer service. They claimed to have fixed my water heater but as luck would have it they didn’t have enough common sense to check to see if I had hot water before they left. At least I had some hot water before they “fixed” my water heater and left me with “NO” hot water!!! Of course, I was at work when they were here and the person at my house was sick and didn’t think to ask if they checked to make sure I had hot water. This was on Monday evening. Tuesday I get up to shower let the water run for 20 minutes NEVER got hot! I know nothing about water heaters so I thought I’d try again when I got home Tuesday evening again I let it run 20 minutes still NO hot water. So I call, the lady I spoke with was really nice and put my call in as an emergency then someone called me back and wouldn’t you know they didn’t have a water heater specialist so the guy said they would put me first for Wednesday morning. I said that doesn’t work for me as I’ll be at work, I have dogs and nobody that can be here to put them away. So we scheduled for Wednesday evening between 6 & 8, NO later than 8, they call me at 7:07 letting me know I was next but couldn’t give me a definitive time. Again, I said this is BS. This is their mistake NOTHING I DID and I should have been before whoever, given it’s their mistake. I understand we all make mistakes but you should accommodate your customers when it’s YOUR MISTAKE!!!

I was very impressed of the service received .I had a broken pipe and had to shut the house main water line over night.I called for service and a agent was able to come to repair the pipe early the next morning.The agent was very professional and knowledgeable of his trade.Number I will keep in my contacts list.

Freddie (3702) and Antoine are the most competent plumbers I have ever met. They found the broken pipe in my sewer system under my driveway using a state-of-the-art in-line camera and scheduled a repair job. They are also the friendliest two guys who have ever come to my house. They cut out a section out of my driveway and dug down to the broken sewage pipe. Then they replaced the broken pipe with a better section with a clean-out directly over the replaced part. These guys provide great, timely service. My kitchen sink suddenly stopped draining. After I took apart all of the plumbing I could get to and put a snake down the pipes, it still wouldn't drain, so after reading the positive reviews online, I called Roto Rooter. I have to say they lived up their good reviews and more. Within 4 hours of placing the call, my sink was draining well again. Their support staff member who answered the phone was friendly and helpful, and she had one of their plumbers, Luiz, at my house within 2 and a half hours. Luiz was friendly, knowledgeable, and got the pipes under my sink unclogged quickly. He knew just what to do and, even better, instead of doing what most plumbers I've used do, which is to tell me I need a lot of expensive extra work, he told me what was most likely causing blockages, and how to fix the problem myself. It's an easy fix with a few parts from any hardware store. The cost of the service was a bit on the expensive side, but I think it was well worth it for the fast service, good work, and helpful advice.

The online scheduling system was easy to use, though the caller ID of the assistant that called to schedule the technician was from Florida so I did not know the call was from Roto-Rooter, unnecessary phone tag back and forth. The technician was friendly and efficient. She did need some help with an extension cord. She answered all my questions. Overall very pleased with the service.

technician, Sebastian, showed 10 minutes earlier than expected. He only took a few minutes to look at the issue and got started working. He kept me updated as to what he was doing and why. The main drain collecting 2 sink drains in our master bedroom was clogged. Called them on December 23 evening, one tech alone came, he had no camera with him and told me that he was not able to find access to the main drain from the attic above our bathroom. He spent 3 hours trying to access it from the sinks without success and left. After 1 week we got 2 techs coming out this morning. We went to the attic and they immediately found the main pipe that was almost already exposed from the insulation. After the repair was completed I went with them to check the attic and they floor was covered by the insulation that they threw there to access the pipe but they didn't clean. I had to leave home soon so I told them that i'd do it myself later (for the price they charge they should clean after themselves..). While they were showing what they did inside the attic the door was open; after they left I went back upstairs and closed the door and I found a nice hole in the drywall. I called their customer service and initially they told me that somebody would be dispatched for an estimate; I asked them: estimate of what? And they told me that I'm supposed to pay for the repair! When I started to get upset the operator told me that a manager will call me tomorrow! Not sure if they will ever fix it but what really makes me upset is that one knows when is going through the wall and they hided that to me keeping the door open. If they were honest I'd probably have fixed myself.

I will make a point to never recommend this company, my “salesman” was condescending and I feel I was completely overcharged and the quote I received for further work was three times more then what I ended up paying with sugar land plumbing...thank God they were there to help during this thanksgiving season!! The plumber was talking about him and his life, $282.18 and an hour later with five minutes of work done I knew he owned a red corvette and his whole life story. First and last time I ever will use this company.

My review isn't the normal one. I had a toilet on the 3rd floor of my house that wasn't draining properly and the problem kept getting worse to the point almost overflowing. So i called Roto-Rooter to come out around 10pm on a Monday night. I tried these guys because they are 24 hour. So this technician arrives and proceed to use this snaking device to unclog the line. This doesn't work and he says he forgot to bring his camera camera to go into the line to see where the blockage is. So the following night a completely different technician comes out and he has the camera, he goes into the pipe through the sink drain and discovers the blockage right around the floor area of the toilet. He tries to use that snake device again and that fails, so he says he needs this small machine to get the clog removed. And then tells me he doesn't have it on him because he lent it to a friend.. and hasn't gotten it back. So he will return the following night. He also gives me a quote to fix, which i found acceptable. The following night i wait for a few hours only to then find out he is stuck at another job and can't make it, and there is no other technician that can come either. And following day is his day off. That night i find water leaking into my pantry from the ceiling above.(which is where the toilet is.) So i had to shut off the water to avoid any more problems. Next day is Thursday morning and a new technician comes out and he tells me something completely different to fix this and the cost is now doubled. So i have to call in speck to the manager, etc. and get it all straightened out. This technician removes the toilet fixes the clog and reattaches the toilet. At the same time, the manger and a few other gentlemen showed up to make sure everything went right. I appreciate Clyde the technician for fixing it correctly and for his tips, also the managers coming to make sure there were no more issues. I now have fans shooting air at my ceiling to dry it out and hopefully avoid a bigger problem. I try to look at the positive of things but this was a bad experience that I thought could have been handled better, and took some of the top guys to fix. (6 people total) I Didn't get a discount on anything either, they just honored the original guys quote.

One of water heater was leaking and required immediate replacement. I called several plumbing companies they all were not able to provide me immediate service I was looking for. When I called Roto-Rooter plumbing the plumbers came to my house on the same day and fixed everything within 24 hours. It was a very fast and highly efficient response. The water heater was replaced and I'm fully satisfied with the quality of the work done.

According to current market prices it was still high for the services he didn't need to do. He took advantage of someone who didn't understand plumbing. I've had two different technicians from Roto-Rooter come out to help me with my plumbing services in the last year, and they've both been nothing short of courteous, friendly, and professional. The service turn around was very quick, and they did not beat around the bush with estimates and price.Thomas first came out on Saturday to check on my faulty water heater, the pilot kept going out. If you are looking for a professional plumber and technicians look no further than Freddy. I called him at 6:00 PM. He was working another job and when I explained my situation he told me that he was on his way. At 7:00 PM he was at my house and immediately started to resolve my problem. The line was so plugged with sand that it could not be cleared. He gave me several options and had his top notch crew here first thing the next morning. The technicians were very courteous and polite. They met the agreed to schedule and there were no additional financial surprises. They did a great job and I would use them again in a heart beat, but hope that I don't have to.

Kyle did a great job! Did not complain at all because he had to complete the work that someone else started a week prior. He simply called the last plumber that worked on my plumbing and got the information he needed to continue the job. They worked together as a team and I paid a really fair price. Plumber came out Sunday ran snake under house and cleared out and obstruction. Monday another came to run a camera through our plumbing system so check for cracks or roots impacting the flow through the line. Tuesday the toilet overflows again and plumber returned to run snake again. Cleared the line and left. We had another company come double check since we were left with no real solution to why the clogging was continuing.The second company found within 10 minutes that we had a break in our sewage line 4 feet from the clearance line. He dropped the same snake system and hit mud indicating the break in the line.I will be reaching out to inquire about a return on payment based on their failure to identify the issue or give us a viable solution. I will follow up on this review to share how they handle the complaint.

I'm going to give five stars based only because the tech kyle was great.I'd ding a star off because I had called the previous day, to wait and call to be told at almost 9 pm that no one was coming that night. Parts house was closed at this point and for my job they didn't have the parts on hand. Okay, was told between 7 and 8. Okay morning rolls around and nobody has came. I'm now told it will be 10. Frustrated to say the lease but nonetheless they were polite.I'm keeping the 5 stars because they did discount my service because of the trouble of having to wait as long as I did.Also again keeping the 5 stars because the tech was great and did an awesome job.I thought it was going to be much more than what I paid or even what the original cost was prior to the discount. So I'd use them again despite the mishap of scheduling.

Freddy came to my house at 8:30AM and didn't leave till 3. Our toilets were clogged and our plumbing apparently wasn't up to code which made things difficult. He didn't leave till he fixed everything which I really appreciated, great customer service and the experience wasn't stressful despite the situation. I had a recent plumbing problem in my Katy home which I needed a clean out on my main line . Tech tried taking advantage BIG time not even inspecting was going to charge my wife 450.00....... then tried to bargain with her. We called a reputable company got it done for 69.00..less t bug an 20 min..I'm very upset at roto routers. I can just imagine how much money they still from customers. They should not be in business.....

Christian came out today because my drain was clogged. When he had done all he could and saw there was a bigger problem he called Damien to bring a camera. They found the issue was to do with the grading and took a video of the issue. The price I was quoted didn’t change when Damien came. It was what they quoted and I will get a video to show the builder since the house is still under warranty! They took time to make sure I understood what was really happening. I honestly appreciated the time and information and that they stayed true to the upfront quote I received.

Abel was a knowledgeable and skilled Plumber who is originally from the Houston area. I was impressed with his professionalism and honesty. He did a great job repairing some plumbing in my bathroom. He did a nice job replacing damage piping and valve for the bath tub and shower. He did a thorough job with the soldering and ensured a safe connection. The job looks really good and I am impressed with the work he has done. Abel was also a very easy to talk to and I enjoyed his company. My main line to the sewer got clogged. After trying with Mail Line cleaners and my 50 foot snake to no avail, I finally called Roto-Rooter. Luckily they had someone in my area. Robert Grimmer showed about an hour after my call. I explained to Robert what I thought and after he checked he agreed and explained what he was going to do and how much it will cost. After about an hour he was completely done (including the paper work) and I was a very happy customer. Rober was friendly, courteous and very professional. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and hope you get someone like Robert. Their work is also guaranteed for 6 months. Included was the video inspection to determine the cause of the clog.

They were responsive arriving early in the morning responding To a call I made the previous night. Got my sewer line unplugged and everything working as it should. Technicians were very professional and courteous.

Extremely impressed!!! At 9 pm I made an appointment for a plugged drain line by computer for the next day and within 20 minutes they replied back by e-mail giving me a 4 hour window and stated I would be notified approximately 30 minutes before the tech would arrive. The next day I received a call notifying me a tech would soon be there, and he was!Sebastian Rodriquez immediately surveyed the problem and began work immediately. He was courteous, professional and worked diligently to get the drain unplugged. The drain is now open and clear and Sebastian gave me some tips to help alleviate any future problems.On top of this, they warranty their work for six months. There was a coupon on their website that saved me $40 on the service call as well.I couldn't have hoped for much better service than this.

Hands down the best!!!! We had a major plumbing issue at our house for like 3 weeks!! Clogged showers, tubs, and kitchen sink.....Had 2 other plumbing companies come out but they couldn't find the problem, So glad we called Rotor-Rooter!! Roto-Rooter truly disappointed me. In addition to coming to my home 3 hours late to my home, the technician came in unapologetically, looked under my sink and quoted me a price to replace the hot water hose. It was crazy high and he acted like it was a take it or leave it situation. I decided to leave it. What was actually wrong? The hose just needed to be tightened. What was hurtful was he KNEW that what it was. He looked at it, he is the professional..right? I referred my this company to my parents and this is how you treat a repeat customer? How can you take that much money from someone when all it needed was to be tightened? Honesty goes a long way Roto-Rooter and although you took care of my parents, based on my experience, I can not refer your company to anyone nor will I or my parents do business with you ever again. Please train all of your employees on ethical business practices so that the one apple does not spoil the bunch. A picture of the hose before and after I tightened it will be uploaded.

We have used Roto-Rooter in the pass and have always got fast and great service. On 5/4/2015, I had the drain in my Laundry room back up to the house. I contacted Roto-Rooter that morning, the dispatcher was very helpful and nice. they told me between noon to 4pm the plumber would be at my home. The Plumber got there a little before noon, he was extremely polite and professional. He went into our attic determine how water got up drain in the attic. He also cleaned the drain and showed me how to keep this from happening again with proper maintenance. I planned on preventive maintenance and to run roto-rooter through the the backyard drain system. I called the Roto-Rooter at 11AM. Christian was at the door couple hours later. Christian seemed very friendly and professional and most importantly very honest. After showing the backyard to him, he prepared a proposal reviewed with me and gave me a good discount. He ran the roto-rooter through the system and did it very carefully to make sure the drain pipe wouldn't get any damages. Thank you very much and I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter.

DO NOT USE ROTO-ROOTER!!!!!!! PERIOD!!! If I could have given them one star, I would have. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Called this morning to schedule emergency service today. We actually cancelled with another provider to go with Roto-Rooter. We were put on the schedule for this service this afternoon. Got a call from their dispatch center, when our appointment was for, and was told that they would not be able to make it out as they didn't have enough techs in the area. So then why did you make the appointment with me earlier this morning!!!! I told them it was an emergency as we have been staying in a hotel, and they said they said that they only had techs for commercial emergencies.Needless to say, they do not care about the customers, and apparently over book and don't keep promises. I would NOT recommend using them unless you want broken promises. For as large of a company as they are I was surprised that they could not find one person to come out for what should be an easy fix. Their suggestion to help me with my problem was to have the person that originally installed my water heater come fix it. WOW...

The service was fantastic, and Houston plumber Mario Alvarez (Tech #711) explained the entire process. He successfully cleared the sewer line, and also did a quick video of the line to show it was cleaned successfully to the city sewer. He was quick, timely, and a very nice gentleman at all times. I will definitely call Roto-Rooter again when we have plumbing and line clearing needs!

I left the previous review to emphasize how quickly Roto-Rooter responded the the feedback...Within 24 hours of posting the feedback below, I was contact my Roto-Rooter dispatch managers - Jim Bozarth and a woman (I cannot recall her name). Both were very helpful and agreed to make it right. Our licensed Roto-Rooter plumber (Joel?) arrived on time and resolved our issue quickly. Thank you for the going the extra mile and making it right. I would have given 5 stars if not for the original experience. Happy to use Roto-Rooter again.Earlier post...The gentleman who took the order was pleasant, and one of the dispatch persons was helpful (male). All other were rude. Original appointment was scheduled 9-11am. I was contacted at 10:30 to let me know the technician could not meet that commitment. Reschedule from 2-4pm. Called again at 3:40 to say technician could not meet that time commitment - promised 45 minute arrival. Then, after 1+ hours, I called again. Promised technician GPS showed almost there - be there any minute. Waited 30 more minutes, called again. Dispatch now says technician is stuck in traffic and would arrive in around 15 minutes. I informed this dispatch person that the previous rep said something different. She got an attitude and said she well, like I said, I just returned from lunch... Not apologetic and overpromised and underdelivered. Quite frankly, not what I expected from the Roto-Rooter name. Guess times have changed.

Garret from RotoRooter was very professional in his service call, taking the time to look at all areas of interest in our house, even making his way through the attic to ensure there were no leaks. He also connected us with a roofing company to assist us with our problems. Although we couldn't afford a total repiping, we recommend him to anyone with plumbing problems.

The service was great. We had a problem with a clogged bathtub drain which I tried to unclog myself. After failing to unclog this drain, I called roto-rooter and was expecting a long wait for service. But after calling them to report the problem, they called me back within 20 minutes that they could be at my house in 30 minutes. The serviceman arrived as promised and after inspecting the problem. He assured me that he could unclog the drain. The serviceman was very professional and knew exactly what to do to. He took care to inform me what he was doing. Within 15 to 20 minutes he unclogged the drain and made sure the bathtub drained water quickly and easily. I highly recommend roto-rooter and will use them again if I have any more drain problems.

Christian arrived in less than an hour after my call to Roto-Rooter Houston. He was able to unclog our master shower and bath tub that had standing water, which was the urgent issue. He also fixed multiple slow-draining sinks around the house. I would highly recommend Christian to my friends!

He did the work quickly and efficiently. Afterwards he kindly took the time to look at and fix up a problem we were having with another faucet. Roto-Rooter sent Jack (#560) to our home to fix a broken water heater. During the appraisal, Jack was very honest as to what the repairs were to cost, was extremely friendly and polite, and even more friendly to our dog! I was out of town one week when there was a backup in our sewer pipe. My wife, who was in Houston, called me and said that all the toilets, and showers were backing up and water was flooding the house. I called Roto-Rooter and within 30 minutes a plumber was called to the house where he diagnosed the problem and stayed until the blockage was cleared and the water was running freely. The plumbers name was Clyde Crump and I have to tell you he really made my wife feel like the problem was under control there was nothing to worry about and everything would be resolved. Clyde was in contact with his supervisor who were able to give us a quote to replace our sewer pipe from the house to the street. The quote was more than reasonable and they were there early the next morning to start the repairs. Not only was all the plumbing fixed but the yard and our gardens with our flowers and bushes were all returned to an almost perfect state. I am very impressed with their professionalism and their workmanship and I would not hesitate to call on them again!

Michael McDaniel and the ground crew were exceptional! They were responsive, timely, efficient and knowledgable. We had outside work done and my yard hardly looks disturbed! In the future, I will call Roto Rooter every time.

Joseph Lazard showed up very quickly, even before the dispatcher called to confirm the 4 hour window. He fixed the plugged drain problem quickly with no mess left. He answered our questions thoroughly and when I asked if he could do something on the price, he advised us to download the $40 service call discount coupon online.

Over charger way to much I def wouldn't use this company again. It was only a small project I have a few more things I need done but I definitely won't use their service again. Congratulations loosing a customer by overcharging for a small service. Not smart business tactic if you ask me.

They need to find a better person to answer the phone. I don’t know what’s her title is but her name is Laura, I think. She sounded like she is forced to work there. She doesn’t sound like she has any knowledge of plumbing, that is number one. And two, she has no customer skills or customer care whatsoever! I wanted to use root rooter, but this lady simply shut me down. I went with other company who sounded much genuine and their tech called me back in less than 15’. In fact I just got off the phone with him and said he would be here in 20’. Now that is the kind of service anyone can expect for these days and ages!

Andrew came for the initial problem and was responsive in hearing us, explained well what he was going to do and solved the issue cleaning up after... meaning putting our things back in the cupboard under the sink. Very please altho we were quite shocked at the cost for putting a long snake down the drain!!!

This may have been one of the easiest experiences of my life. I called the 24 hour number at 6am, talked to a real person, and had a wonderfully friendly plumber at my door in magnolia, TX, before 8am. Service was so fast, perfectly on point, and I had my kitchen back before 9am. Hugely recommend Roto-Rooster and Freddy to anyone with a clogged sink.

Called Sunday to make an appointment for Monday. We told them over the phone what the problem was. They gave us an appointment window from 10a-2p... never showed up. Dispatch called back a little after 2 saying one of his plumbers was finally free and he would be here in 20 mins...he finally showed up and he couldn’t even find our clean out (didn’t even try)...he gave us prices on what he could do (he had to call another guy) because it turned out he didn’t have the equipment to fix it...the other plumber couldn’t come out until after 4p... what a waste of a day. First plumber was trying to charge 500 just to remove the toilet and snake even though we told him we had 2 plumbers come and snake it already. We choose this company because of its great reviews but our experience was not a good one.

I called them to come out on Memorial Day. Within 30 minutes, they had two separate technicians out to diagnose and treat the water damage. Raul explained the problem in detail and fixed only what needed to be fixed. Very honest guy. Will definitely use their services again if I need it

I had a clogged drain causing backflow and flooding from an upstairs sink. I worked unsuccessfully for 3 hours or more trying to get it unclogged. I was able to call and a plumber arrived at my home earlier than scheduled. Jack 560 did a great job and even identified a quick fix related to a second issue that saved me some money. Highly recommend....

Marty showed up on time and helped my wife fix our problem with a faulty bath tub. He gave us the model number for future reference in case there were additional issues. I thought I had a toilet plugged up on Monday evening and tried to fix it myself with no luck. I did a Google search for local Houston plumbers in our area and had several to choose from. I read the reviews for each company and decided on Roto Rooter. I went to their web page and made my own appointment on-line for 0830 on Tuesday morning. The dispatcher called me at 0730 and confirmed my appointment and said the technician would be at my house on time and was already in my area. I asked if he could arrive early and Denton showed up at 0750 ready to work. I found out later that he lives in my area and was dispatched to me that morning. He showed up in a clean, crisp uniform and had the I'm ready to work look on his face. Not like some that appear as if they just rolled out of bed.It was raining on this morning and he was careful coming into the house so not to track anything so he took off his boots and left them outside on the front porch. My wife really appreacited that (we didn't even have to ask!)Denton nailed the problem within five minutes and notified me that the clog was not in my toilet but in the pipe outside the house. He ran his camera in the pipes and showed me a crack under the slab where the drain pipe was cracked and separated. I recently had the house leveled and the problems started shortly thereafter. It was confirmed that my busted pipe was allowing water to seep under the slab and puddle up thereby causing even more damage and cracks in my patio.Denton explained what needed to be done and how long the job was from start to finish. He told me up front how much it would cost, we agreed the price was reasonable, signed his paperwork and he got to work. He called in his crew and had the problem fixed and the mess cleaned up all in one day. He did an excellent job for us.We are happy for the outstanding service Denton and Roto-Rooter provided. Kitchen sink was draining into dishwasher and nothing was draining out. Joseph #810 did a great job in a timely manner and there was no mess for me to clean. Joseph and the telephone dispatcher were very polite and quick to respond to my problem. 3 cheers for Roto-Rooter

Stay away from Roto-Rooter! We called them on August 4th do help with a small water reclamation project on the second floor of our home. After a week of them demoing walks and floors and drying things out, they left and the real damage was found. They used heavy humidifiers to dry things out, but they never laid any floor protection on the wood floors on our 1st floor. 3 flooring experts hae come out on their dime and confirmed that the floors have to be ripped up and replaced. Plus, our stairs have to be sanded, restained and repainted. This will also require us to move out of our house for at least a week. In all, it is over $70K worth of damage. To make matters worse, their unethical insurance company, Sedgwick, is continuing to play stalling tactics so that they don't have to pay for any of the damage their gross negligence caused. We've been overly accommodating with Sedgwick, trying to bend over backwards to help them move things along but they refuse to move. It has officially been more than 2 months and not a single thing has been done. I highly recommend that if you have a water reclamation or plumbing need to NOT call Roto-Rooter. The chances of you having an even bigger headache are very real and most likely probably. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

I called Roto-Rooter in an emergency situation (our main water line burst at a very bad time). Their technician, Michael, arrived within two hours and quickly made us feel better about our situation. He was friendly, reassuring, and worked diligently. Within a few hours he had dug up and fixed our main water line. I will use Roto-Rooter for all plumbing needs from now on.

The plumber was very knowledgeable and experienced and fixed my problem. The reason for only 4 stars is when I arranged for service on the phone, the appointment was set for one o'clock. The plumber didn't show up until 5 o'clock and knew nothing about the set appointment time. I am certain that I didn't misunderstand the appointment maker.

My water heater broke the day before my husband was to be released from the hospital. Roto-Rooter came out that day and replaced the water heater and provided excellent customer service. They did a great job and were very efficient.

Giving 5 stars after Tech 2212 came to review kitchen sink leak issue. Not only did he educate me, he found the main problem that the first tech (457) did not catch. Tech 2212 was dedicated to helping me choose the correct option for a new sink, parts, and installation. Technician 457 fixed our RR plumbing issue perfectly. However, he did not thoroughly check the sink plumbing which caused the leak & mold to continue. Tech 2212 made up for it by permanently fixing the problem, placed a new strainer, nut, washer, and gave me helpful advice to keep the kitchen plumbing in tip-top shape! We are extremely satisfied with his hard work ethic and knowledge. Tech 2212 went over and beyond for us. We are grateful to have found our go to plumber for years to come.

ISSUES:* On December 11, 2018 we called Roto-Rooter for assistance with our kitchen sink and laundry drain, which had backed up causing water to overflow into cabinetry and onto floors. Freddy (Service Technician #3702) responded to the call. Though polite, he did not offer any significant concrete response as to why the backup occurred. However, he did worked quickly to cable the kitchen sink through the outdoor trap to clear the line, and resolve the clog. This service call cost us $300, which came with a 6-months warranty on the worked performed.* On April 4, 2019, we called Roto-Rooter again for assistance as the exact same scenario from 5 months ago had reoccurred. The following morning Fernando Layola (Service Technician #826) responded to the call (he was joined by a Service Technician in training). It was immediately evident that Mr. Layola was extremely knowledgeable, and interested in finding the root cause(s) in order to offer a valid solution to the issue. He quickly determined that our issue was two-fold. First, the garbage disposal side of the sink was not functioning properly, as the unit was aged, inadequate, and had significant corrosion (this was visually evident). Second, the other side of the kitchen sink had an improper elevation from when the previous home owners installed a new deeper sink (causing a restriction of adequate drainage on one side). Though the service to re-cable the line to free the clog was free (because it was still covered under warranty), this did not address the root causes.OUTCOME:Mr. Layola provided us with several options, taking the time to explain things clearly and answer all of our questions regarding the proposed solutions. We opted to have the garbage disposal unit replaced, and declined to re-pipe the drainage pipe to resolve the elevation issue at this time (as this would soon be resolved in our upcoming remodel of the kitchen). In addition, he recommended Roto-Rooters Preventative Pipe Shield Maintenance Treatment which he explained as an active enzyme based treatment, instead of using Draino which heats up pipes and may cause damage upon repeat usage. Once all of the work and related costs were agreed upon they quickly started cabling the drain, and replacing the disposal in a very neat, organized, and professional manor. Upon completion, everything was demonstrated to show that we were once again clog-free while the new garbage disposal ran during a full rinse cycle of the dishwasher and washing machine. This service call cost us $701.67 ($490 for labor which was not taxed, $182.35 for the new garbage disposal unit, and $64 for the Pipe Shield product, both of which were taxed).5 months and just over $1,000 later we appear to be clog free with a better understanding of the root causes, a new garbage disposal, and a recommended plan of action.

I had drainage and a roots issues in the pvc conduit which he was able to detect and remove. Although additional work is need to cut and replace pvc in the ground. I would like to use their services for all plumbing issues. Thanks Roto Rooter!

WARNING! DO NOT USE ROTO-ROOTER. To change a tub valve they wanted $650.00! I already purchased the tub valve. The wall has already been completely opened, tile and sheetrock removed. A good qualified plumber could do this job within an hour. Do the math. (As an example)-Even at $150.00 an hour (which is a very high labor charge), they're charging for FOUR hours of labor! They do tell you up front that they charge a trip charge of $69.00. If you use them, this is absorbed in to the cost. So, I'm out the $69.00. I'm taking time out of my busy schedule to try and WARN others. DO NOT USE ROTO-ROOTER!! This is in the Missouri City area. I am only giving one star because they did get someone to my location pretty quickly but for what? I told the plumber that came out (who does not set the price) that they are pricing HIM right out of a job! STAY AWAY!I was contacted by the regional manager and was told that the price was accurate and that I should have been afforded the opportunity to have the plumber do the job on an hourly rate basis instead of the flat rate price that I was given. The plumber never offered this to me. I declined to move forward on the job. Also, I was told that the example that I gave using a $150.00 an hour labor charge was way off. It's actually $285.00 dollars an hour! Take notice!

I scheduled a service online at 10PM on 7/25 for a service at my apartment between 8AM to 12 Noon the next day, 7/26. It was accepted and i got a confirmation email about that. On 7/26 morning at 8:20 AM, i called their number to confirm the appointment and the REP told me they got it and will be calling me within an hour to head to the place. Then at 9:40 AM, i got a call from another person saying we are not forgetting about you, we are just a little behind schedule today, but we will call you again in a little bit before we come. I thought this is very good, at least they inform their customers with good communication. I guess i spoke too soon! At 11:07 AM, another person called me and this time he said i'm sorry but we cannot make it to your place today. Do you want to reschedule for another day this week?... seriously??? you had me waited the entire morning and tell me last minutes you won't be coming? I had to end up calling other places to have same day service because who would live with a breaking pipe together with bad odor for another day or days??? This is my first time with them, and also the last. I would not use these people ever again.

Delvin was great to work with. He arrived on time and was very helpful in resolving the issue, even helping to explain what he was doing and why. I would definitely recommend calling him out again if we have any further issues.

First time a plumber has come out to my house. I usually don't write reviews but this guy had me wanting to. I was told that I would pay $275 plus the cost of whatever parts he needed to buy. He supposedly went to home depot to get a part. But whenever I asked for a receipt, he was very reluctant to show me one. 20 minutes later I had to leave for school, telling my grandparents who speak English but not very well to ask for the receipt when he was done coming back from Home Depot for a 2ND part. Never did he mention that the part would be marked up and the part went from $30ish to $85.72. Over this whole experience he was very rude about the questions I asked and how he answered them, and still never got to see a receipt even after speaking to the company manager. Overall horrible experience and overpriced. Watch out for a guy named Marty.

The gentleman was very nice however he just put a clamp on the pipe we would have rather had the pipe replaced instead of a clamp but tha was never an option. Just said our pipes were old we know that all other plumbers have replaced pipe sections never put a clamp and for 95.00 very expensive. I would not use this Company again. But the service man was very nice.

We recently moved to Houston and had Hidajet #6647 come out to help us with our washer drain pipe, as we had issues with it backing up and could no longer do a load of laundry. It was extremely frustrating as we have a young family and laundry piling up daily. Hidajet was extremely professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and very friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience with both the professional technician and the company itself on the phone. I called Roto Rooter for drain blockage for my rental house on Septembet 25th and asked them to contact me for any issue, not with the tenant, after 5 hours, around 8:45pm a technician came to the house, without looking at the problem, RotoRooter technician had called out a price which around $450.00 for a regular clean out. And I relied him that is more than what I paid before, and the technician said he don't see me you in their system , and I told him that my previous experience with RotoRooter were working on different rental properties. Then the technician changed the price to $395 and said if i found a broken drainage I will give you a different quote, Than I ask him please first look at the problem then tell me what is going wrong, do not keep assuming without looking at itAnd I pointed him I had opened the clean out cap, so it can avoid to back flow inside the house. After a minute of our conversation, I contacted the tech if he start working on it, and he relied , he has not yet work on it. and I asked him not to moving forward. cause the way of the technician quote and is quite different than my previous experience.The next morning I am about to call out different plumbing company for service, before i make the call, my tenant called me, the Roto Rooter technician put the clean out cap back on very tight last night, he can't even open without a tool. as a plumber, he understand what is the consequence, if the drain clean out cap on, it could back flow in the house, I rejected his service , the technician try to leave with extra trouble to me. This is ethically wrongAt around 2:30pm on the next day, I have no idea why another Roto-Rooter technician name Sebastian Rodriguez came out to the house, and trying to talk to my tenant, and also give me a call, And I rejected him and asked him not to service the house, cause I had already reject one other technician from your company last night. and this Sebastian Rodriguez was so rude and tried to judging why I don't want their service, and tell my tenant during our phone conversation, stated your landlord don't want to pay, that is why as a customer, I have a right to choose which company I want to use, but I don't necessary need to give you any explanation, and this is ethically wrong trying to makeup a explanation to my tenant because your landlord do not want to pay. the whole situation is totally out of control. this technician is so trashy,do you remember, at the beginning, Roto Rooter need to discuss the issue with me not with my tenant, why I have to discuss anything with technician Sebastian Rodriguez while he put on the speaker phone with my tenant, and call out loud saying I do not want to pay. is he trying to make a scene of the situation, is this because I no longer want to use the company?I just want to express my feeling, even your company have the equipment s, with certain skill, but without ethic, I will not feel comfortable to use. Customer want to have a reliable, and honest company to work with.

Best price compared to my local plumbers. The technician that helped us out was very pleasant and even gave tips to prevent clogs in the future. We will be repeat customers when needed.

Horrible experience! We called them to come out due to a sewage back-up. They told me it would be $279 to unclog the drain.The plumber who came out started by telling me he would have to cut off the drain cap because he couldn't get it off. That would be an additional $45.He then said we needed to call the restoration team to clean up the mess because there was all kinds of bacteria in the water that was dangerous to my family and we shouldn't even be breath it in. He then said he was going to call in another person to take a camera down our main line and give it a look. They told me it would be $8000 to fix this damaged pipe and that was a reduced rate! The restoration did their work and it resulted in $3200!!! This was covered by my insurance but I have a $1000 deductible. Then, one week later we noticed issues again in the drain. We called a local plumber who let us know that Rotor Rooter never even unclogged our drain!!! He pulled A TON of stuff out (total cost $135)! He also explained that the main line has some issues but nothing that is super urgent like they stated. I have shared this story with quite a few people and I have heard of many similar experiences with this company. Rotor Rooter is a crooked company! NEVER call them!

He talked us through all the options and was a total expert under pressure, willing to crawl and dig under our house to get it fixed as fast as possible. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Roto Rooter to anyone that needs their services. I live in a six unit townhome complex we had a clog sewer problem. We had the city come out twice, they could not help us,gave us wrong information about where the sewer line was located. So I decided to call Roto Rooter. They sent a fine gentleman by the name of Michael McDaniel to our property. He got out of his truck and confidently said I will find your problem and in five minutes he did. He unclogged the sewer line and took pictures of the problem. It was a tree root through a city pipe that was causing the problem. I sent the information to the city.

They save me from a diaster problem. For something that started out as small as a rocking toilet and turned into a leak, Kyle Courtney, fixed the issue in the blink of an eye.My house flooded during Harvey and after all the repair, they never replaced that metal piece from the floor to the toilet. It rusted and broke, therefore a rocking toilet became the issue. Kyle came in on a Sunday and repaired the toilet like a champ. This was amazing, especially after I had attempted to take the toilet apart and repair it myself ( I now understand that plumbing is NOT my thing). I also complained about my downstairs shower not getting hot enough and he fixed it in two minutes flat. He warned me about the anti-scald on shower fixtures now.All in all, he was awesome and I appreciate his knowledge, his professionalism, and roto rooter's timeliness to respond.

Pipes under foundation over 30 years old. Had to replace all pipes. Freddy was very professional and friendly. His crew did the job quickly even though it rained for days. Only half a day without use of plumbing. Roto Rooter always responds quickly and effectively and if its an emergency they'll send someone asap. We've used them for years and will always call them if have a problem. With the new pipes however there should be no more problems :)

The technician came to check out our women's toilet and was super professional and super honest with everything he did and as far as charges to do the next step to find out what was going on. I would highly recommend them over a lot of small businesses in our area as I could not even get a call back or an appointment to show up. Our main house had severe issues. Whenever we flushed a toilet or ran a lot of water, 2 bathrooms had severe leaks - through the toilet and shower areas. Michael came out - much sooner than the 2 hour time-frame, quoted what we thought was reasonable, and worked on the issue for over an hour. We can now use water again. While Mr. Rooter's ad in 'IMPACT' for drain cleaning was less than half of what we paid, I think they would have charged more than the ad due to the long plumbing runs for our house and the multiple places that were affected. We are happy.

Roto-Rooter was the only plumber I called for the water leak above my kitchen. They were prompt to come and analyze the problem. They were very cordial and the lead (Andrew Wilson #1523) told me the pipe had pinhole leaks and that he could repair it but said it probably would happen somewhere else in the future since my house was 40+years old.He temporarily installed a patch without charge and Roto-Rooter sent a team to dry the damage. they then replaced all the water pipe in my home and then repaired all the damage done to them home during the repair. Had a great experience. Ended up having 3 different people come out as they narrowed down the issue over the course of 2 days. On the first day, the plumbing was back to a usable state, and on the 2nd day, the ultimate root cause was determined. Everything was finished by the 3rd day, which included excavating and replacing the entire pipe in the backyard going from my home to the city sewage pipe. Quick service and walked us through what they were doing each step of the way.

Fernando Loyola was on time. Ask me a few direct questions and how and when the problem started. Surveyed the situation and made a recommendation on how to solve the problem. He was direct, knowledgeable and gave me an exact quote as to the cost of the repair. He completed the work in a timely manner, explained what had happened and how he corrected the problem. Service was requested from 8-10. Received a call at ~9a explaining that RR was running behind. Not a problem. Service technician - Robert #1670 - arrived around 11:00. He surveyed the issue, identified the problem, and went to work. He was personable and efficient.

My garbage disposal and laundry line was clogged, causing water to leak out of my disposal and the wall behind my washing machine. I called around 3:30 and Clyde was here in less than an hour. He explained the work I needed and gave me an estimate of $310, but he also gave me a discounted rate so I ended up paying $270. This was more than I expected to snake a drain, but I didn't mind paying for such incredible service. Clyde was so nice, he didn't make a mess, he finished in about 45 minutes, and we tested out the washer and garbage disposal together. On top of that, I got a 6 month warranty, a ton of maintenance tips, and he left me a gallon of drain cleaner and showed me how to use it. I was very impressed.

Felipe and James did a great job getting my house dried out after my sewage line collapsed. Service was friendly and timely.

I called Roto-Rooter to see if we had a clogged drain from our downspouts to the main drain. During the last hard rain, we got a little water in the lower portion of our house. Blake & a partner showed up in about an hour or two after my call & knew just what to do. They cleaned the drain with a high powered water steam & then ran a camera down the drain to look for clogs & breaks. He assured us that everything is now cleared. The service was very professional. I'll add them to my list of call backs in case their service is ever needed again.

Something must have been blocking my sewage line. Regardless, I made an appointment that day and the technician (Andrew) came out later that day and was very professional and explained everything he was checking and what he was doing.

Joseph came out on Christmas day. The drains were very slow. It was the main line. He cleared it quickly and let me use a coupon online. Bad time of the year for extra expenses but I was happy with the service and the technician who came out.

Backyard faucet just about quit turning off, and now who you gonna call! Roto Rooter being was a familiar name so I called them on Monday expecting to get service later in week. Surprise! they scheduled me for the same day. Bruce arrived, and determined that Pulte had built the house around the faucet. This meant Bruce had to cut a hole in our kitchen cabinet , and the wall to get to the connection for the faucet. Bruce did an outstanding job measuring, cutting the hole in the right place, and replacing the old faucet. Job well done Bruce!

Our downstairs shower stopped working, the water wouldn't come out. So we called roto - rooter and that same day Sam P. - 619 came and fixed it right up!! He was very professional, courteous, and answered all of our questions! Very great price for the work done! I was very satisfied and pleased with Sam and the roto - rooter company! I absolutely will use roto - rooter again and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who has plumbing issues!!

One section of my home had slow draining. This was sinks and toilet. My plumber, Freddy, called before he got there. Diagnosed the issue and gave me my options. Don't know where to even start. Im a 65 y o Vet and cancer patient for 7 years. Lost my voice to throat cancer and can't even use a phone. My Kitchen sink backed up and had a friend call a Plumber for me, Thank God he choose Roto-Rooter to call. They sent a guy out and come to find out there was a garden hose stuck in the pipe on the sink drain/trap that had been left there. I was told they would have to tunnel under the slab to remove it and would range from $2500 o $3500 depending on how far they had to tunnel to reach it. They sent Ryan Mauldin the camera tech out and couldn't get a camera in it with the hose in it so the only option was to dig it out. I told him i only had 6 months of life left and could not afford it. He went and set in his truck on the phone to the office and came back and told me because of my medical problems and not much time left that they would have a crew dig it up and take care of if i could just pay the guys digging for there labor. He sent Daniel and Jose out to dig it up and as usual run into one thing after another, 3' thick slab , tree roots , half the pipe buried in concrete , these two men have spent a day and a half laying in a dirt hole upside down and never complained once. Im at a lost for words, all i can say is this Old Vet thinks you guys are a 1st Class Act to help someone like me out of a bad spot. 110% Customer Service at it's Finest. I just have to say, my team that came out, Christian, Kraig and Eric, were heaven sent.Waking up to sewage backing up in your bathroom is a horrible feeling not to mentioned the smell. Well this team came out and not only opened the line, but assisted me on filing an insurance claim for the damage done. I wasn’t even aware this was covered. Eric helped me make the call right then and there, furnished all the information needed and pictures to the insurance to get things rolling. To top it off, they then sent a crew to do the clean up. Had a shower leaking, YB Plumbing told me it wasn't the cartridge and that I needed to cut a hole in the backside of the shower and replace the valve with a cost of close to $1,000. Called Roto Rooter for a second opinion and They came out and told me that replacing the cartridge was all that was needed. Ended up costing <$350. Marty was quick and professional with the repairs.

Among everything that has recently happened in Texas I had an appointment scheduled last Friday for service on a burst pipe. I was told I'd receive a phone call before they would arrive, no call and nobody showed. Didn't receive any call about them not being able to make it to my house or to possibly reschedule. I can't call to speak with anyone because they aren't taking phone calls now. I won't be calling again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, ever.

Very disappointed in your service. I had a visit scheduled for 11/24/18 and was given a 4 hour window. The plumber never arrived and no one from the company called me to let me know about it, had to call myself to find out what the problem was. I still went ahead and rescheduled for 11/25/18 for someone to come out. Plumber came but told me it was too late to do the work that day and he could come back 11/26/18 and do the work. Plumber came and did the work but after this experience I very much doubt I will be calling you again for services.

Roto-Rooter is nothing but Crooks Liars they called me 10 times I waited for technician all day I told them to send them down never showed up every time they call it was a different person and they kept online he's on his way don't use them they're Crooks

Definitely would recommend Roto-Rooter for repairs....Called on Monday due to no hot water; they had a service man out that day---5 p.m.; he went and bought a hot water heater, took out the old one and replaced it without skipping a beat. We found a water leak in the Laundry Room and immediately called Roto Rooter. Mike came out and identified the problem from a hot water pipe in an upstairs bedroom. Opened drywall just at the right spots, fixed up the issue and cleaned the mess that was created. Now, we have built-up water damage - in comes Sampson! Did a great investigation around the problem and will be working with my insurance to get everything back to normal.Thanks Mike and Sampson - really nice service - in and out in 2 hours. Obviously, the other work will take time, but definitely appreciate their work.

This had to be one of the worst plumbing experiences I had. The plumber was rude from the get go. His diagnosed the problem by turning on the kitchen sink. I was told I was going to have to have the whole house re-piped at a cost of $10,000 plus he would have to cut into the ceilings and the walls. It will be your problem to get those repaired. When I pressed as how he made this determination he said it is an old house. Different plumbing company came out the next day. Actually went into the attic did a full inspection and fixed the problem within the hour at the cost of $60. Will never use them again!!!!

Marty (tech 1927) was very professional and had a solution to my water heater problem right away. Of course, I had many questions. He was patient and explained everything very in detail in plain words that I could understand. Marty carried himself in a very professional manner, and the way he performs the work is very organized and clean. He conducts everything very neatly and carefully. I will request him next time I need a plumber. Thanks!!!

Mike with Roto-Rooter was very knowledgeable and fixed my leaky cut off valve right away. I almost had it done myself, but lacked in some minor details to solve the problem. I thought the cost was pricy though, but I'm glad it's done!

Great business. Fast. Reliable. Knowledgeable. Just a bit pricey. We had a clogged drain. Freddy was there within a couple of hours and had the clog gone in less than 10 min. They also guarantee their work for 6 months.

Ky was very thorough with the service. He did phenomenal work and didn't try to upset me on services I didn't need.
