bluefrog Plumbing + Drain of Northwest Houston

We used a couple of other plumbers in the area over the past years, but I never felt like I got a good deal or a fair deal. So, when our sprinkler system main pipe started leaking, I let my yard guys take a whack at it. It still leaked and it was getting to the point that it was completely out of code. My wife called Blue Frog and I expected the same service as the other vendors in the past, but this time was different. They came over to just give me a quote, and they explained it all to me, what needed to be done, and gave me options. We let them replace the entire piece and they even wrapped our pipes for winter when they were done. I left feeling like I had a new plumber and I got a fair deal out of it. It’s like your AC or your car; you tend to be over a barrel it seems when it comes to these issues, and it is nice to see that there are companies out there that are honest.

A++++++++++Our home warranty company scheduled their plumber to come out for an emergency overflowing toilets and shower. They never showed. Richard with bluefrog plumbing went totally out of his way to take care of my problem on extremely short notice. We are new customers for bluefrog and they treated us as if we had used them for years. Bret was very professional and I recommend them to absolutely anyone. A+++++++++++

I was happy with Josh but that's where it ended.I spent over $1000 to repair broken pipe but when I asked if the repairman would replace the valve to the home main shut off which was part of the line repaired, he refused saying that wasn't part of the contract. So I spent about $500 an hour and they are so profit oriented that they wouldn't replace a cheap valve to satisfy a customer. They have seen the last of my business.Now as a layman I am on my own to replace something that would have been easy and cheap for them.

I called Bluefrog to clear out my French drains. The water from heavy rains was starting to BSc up in the yard. At first I thought the estimate was a little high, but for all of the work they did to make sure the end result was totally clean drains and clear water,it was worth it.If use them again and recommend them.

Alfredo came to my house and was very professional. I had a tub clog and leaks which he handled very quickly. I would highly recommend Bluefrog to anyone who needs plumbing service.

Had a great experience with Blue Frog from scheduling the appointments to fixing the water heater. The technician was prompt, courteous, and professional. They made every effort for me to understand each issue I had in getting the water heater fixed. Blue Frog had good communication, very helpful in placing the items for me, and did an excellent job. After experiencing a complete failure with another plumbing company, Alfredo was able to access into the cleanout and quickly diagnose the problem as a broken sewer line. Alfredo and his team replaced the line the next day. No gimmicky sales, just honest work much appreciated.

Bluefrog was the second plumber I called in for a badly clogged kitchen sink. After 2 hours of trying to unclog, the first plumber told me that the line was probably broken and he needed to run a camera line in to determine where the break was - $$$$. I called bluefrog for a second opinion and their plumber had it cleared and draining perfectly in short order using a water pressure machine for a fraction of the previous estimate! He was friendly, personable and highly professional to boot! Highly recommend!

I had problems with my hot water heater for years. I had them replace it and they were awesome. The hot water heater was installed the same day and they were very polite and professional. If you need any kind of plumbing help I highly recommend them

WOW, WOW, WOW, I don't know what else to say. After the freeze of 2021 I tried to contact my local plumber only to find out that he had moved to Austin. I was in a panic with a broken pipe and no water. After contacting several well known companies, some who wouldn't respond, some who quoted two weeks for any service and a couple who just blew me off with false promises Bluefrog came through. Despite the overwhelming work load Bluefrog kept in contact with me, provided a service date with in days of contacting them and sent out a fantastic Plumber, Alfredo. They actually got to me a day earlier that promised and Alfredo was absolutely great. He found the leak doing minimal damage to our walls, repaired it and cleaned up before we checked the house for any other issues. Alfredo was professional and great to deal with. On top of all that the price for the repair was totally reasonable. We had one plumber who said it would be $300 just to come by. At a time when plumbing companies could have charged anything Alfredo gave us a very reasonable quote and price. Bluefrog now had a new customer for life. Thank You!

I got the services from blue frog for getting my Pelican salt free water softener installed.Team was very professional and did a very good job. Though a little expensive than what I thought, I strongly feel it’s worth it.As they found a little bit of a leakage while finishing the job on 1st day, they came back promptly on the second day and got the job done to its completion.They took the money as well only after completing the job on the second day.I would strongly recommend Bluefrog to any one looking for professional installation.

During the freezing weather in early March 2021 we lost electricity for 3 days. We turned off water to the house. Once power was restored we waited another 3 days to turn the water back on because we continued to have frigid weather each night. Once we turned the water back on we didn’t have any problems. One day later I went to wash a load of clothes and water came out from behind the washer. Through our neighborhood paper we found an ad for Bluefrog Plumbing. Ricardo Teran was the technician that came. He was very knowledgeable and from what he could see did not think (but couldn’t guarantee) that we had a pipe issue unless he removed the Sheetrock to check pipes. He gave us an estimate and let us know they did not do Sheetrock work to repair. We approved this and glad we did - there was no pipe damage and he said there might have been some frozen water in the washer drain so when I did a load it backed up. No issues since. We were pleased with Ricardo and would recommend Bluefrog.

I had a great experience with Blue Frog. They came out after my pipes burst during the freeze and fixed my leak. Little things with customer service made a big impression. CJ came out, identified the problem, and fixed it really quick. He even showed me and explained what he was doing. I would highly recommend them!

We had a serious plumbing problem and I don’t know how we were fortunate enough to find Blue Frog. They did everything they said they would do and more. We could not have asked for a better bunch of guys that came to our house to fix our plumbing. I would recommend them to anyone because I know they would do an excellent job. We had a difficult piping problem, but Alfredo was both reassuring and very professional. He was very careful not to make a mess, which seemed inevitable considering the difficult problem the previous plumber left us. We will definitely use them again.

Highly Recommended ... I had a plumbing emergency, so in the process called three plumbers. Bluefrog was the first to respond and commit to the project. The plumber was dispatched timely, and I got notifications as to the name and time of his arrival (both email and phone call). He stayed and completed the job in the same day (extending well into the evening). I was very pleased with the process, his professionalism, and his correspondence. I will say their prices were higher than expected, but I think the customer service and professionalism compensated for the higher charges. I would use them again, although I hope it is not related to another plumbing emergency.

So overpriced! I paid $599 for a new kitchen disposal. I thought that it must be some great 3/4 hp disposal. I checked later and discovered that the disposal costs $130 at Home Depot. So, $470 for a house call and a 20 minute installation - outrageous. I actually called Blue Frog the next day because I thought it must have been a mistake. No, they said that was their price for that item. Shameful

I am so happy I found Blue Frog. Clean vans, clean tools, clean uniforms. Alfredo was very helpful in explaining the work, what was involved, and what it would cost. I am very pleased with the whole experience and who can usually say that about a plumbing job!

A plumbing business should have integrity and reliability. I would not hesitate to use bluefrog for all of my plumbing repairs! I know the repairs would be handled professionally. I will gladly recommend their services to all of my family and friends.

I had a major plumbing issue under my house. Raymond with Bluefrog came out, assessed the situation and began work the next day.They are very professional plumbers. I had an extra issue arise and Raymond notified my immediately and we were able to take care of the problem. I highly recommend Bluefrog Plumbing.

Beware! They took advantage of me on a leak repair and double dipped they lied about the cost of the leak detection company and refused to allow me to book this appointment on my own instead they stated they had to book disappointment, but the only reason for this was because they wanted to inflate that price knowing I was going through an extreme hardship with the leak as high as 74,000 gallons of water in a three week period of time it was a critical emergency and I was very limited on funds. Instead of them having compassion and integrity they lied about how much the leak detection company charge just to make an extra $225! They double dipped! Horrific and would never recommend people like this that lack integrity!

Bluefrog installed whole house water filtration system and shutoff valve. They did a great job at a very fair price. Highly recommend.

I was in need of plumbing services right away and Blue Frog was available and came out that morning. They were reasonably priced, very professional and took care of my problem right away. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues.

All I can say is Blue Frog plumbing of NW Houston is now my go to plumber!!!!!! They are Fabulous!!!!! I had them replace a toilet in my home and I was blown away by how professional and experienced they were!!!! They not only did a great job , they were on time and very neat. I highly recommend them!!! Way to go Blue Frog plumbing of NW Houston!!!

Josh quickly came to our call to unclog the master bathroom toilet. Young, energetic, well trained, patient and compassionate with Seniors, my 82 yrs hubby was Impressed with the skill and efficiency.

If I could rate this company less than a one star, I would. A major disappointment! Always arrived more than an hour or two late for scheduled appointments. Will state the problem and tell you how they will solve the problem; However will present an online bill that charges something totally different (be aware of the bait and switch trick). And finally, they charged my credit card TWICE without my consent for different amounts of money. I am in the process of filing charges with the attorney general's office. Next time do business with the plumbers that have been in Houston for more than 10 years. These are the honest guys.

Blue Frog did a great job at our home. They were timely, covered what needed to be done and then completed the work in a timely manner. Great job. I’ll call them for more jobs in the future.

Blue Frog Plumbing helped us with a clogged drain and a burst pipe. Plumbing is not cheap, but you get what you pay for with Blue Frog. They are very good at what they do!

Great service! Worked with me on my schedule and were even able to arrive early to accommodate me. Provided a quick estimate and did not charge a service fee - I will be using them again in the future!

They came quickly, were friendly, gave us a quote before servicing and were finished within ten minutes. Since their quote for $225, I was shocked at how quickly they were finished.

I give them one star because they came on time and seem to have fixed the issue. However, I cannot give them any more because I was made to agree to a high price as they told me it would take the whole day. Instead they left in 3.5h including the time for lunch, and I ended up paying $750 for the job at a lawyerly rate of 250/hr. Needless to say I will not use them again.
