This review is in reference to the service my mom received from Rodolfo R (#90) and David. After several different plumbers from Texas Quality came out for the same issue, we were pretty much over their service because the problem was not being resolved. Rodolfo and David came and went above and beyond to help us with thorough information and a solution for our leak issue as we work to get it completely repaired. Texas Quality Plumbing was an absolute joy to work with from the initial phone call to the completion of the repair. The office staff was extremely friendly and attentive and answered all of my questions. They actually called me back when they said they would! The technicians that came to my home were equally as kind and extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the repair that I needed was outside and it was raining. The technicians worked diligently over a period of days to get the repair done despite the weather. I don't normally leave reviews, but I felt compelled to leave a review for Texas Quality Plumbing because I had such a positive experience with them. I will recommend this company to anyone that I know who needs a plumber and I will definitely not hesitate to contact them should I need their services in the future.

Engaged them through Home Serve program with Centerpoint Energy to repair a leak in my incoming water line. The tech (Jose) was professional, thorough and clearly competent. He was on time, explained the issues and the suggested repair. But the thing that stuck me more than anything is how he was able to dig a 5 foot by 3 foot hole, make the repair, backfill it and leave the site looking almost as if nothing had happened. And he did all that without getting mud all over himself! Because I did not pay directly for the service, I can't comment on the price but I will certainly contact them for any non-covered repair I need in the future.

Cedric Miller came out to check my line as a toilet was backing up again. He ran a cable all the way to the city line and was able to assure me it was not my plumbing but the city. He is a very nice guy.

We received the service through the HomeServe insurance through CenterPoint Energy, and the plumber came out and did a great, effectively and fast repair of the gas leak. We were very impressed with the work and how fast they finished the work. It was actually done in a few hours and should have been a seemless transition to obtain a final inspection to set our gas meter again. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill from there. The plumber insisted we needed to pay @$1,500.00 additional repairs in order to start the transition to request a final inspection. Luckily, I'm a former CenterPoint Energy employee and was able to confirm that most of the repairs listed in the estimate were bogus. I immediately called the city and HomeServe to get guidance and they were able to tell me the plumber has an obligation to file the permits and final inspection regardless of the status of any other repairs they seem to think is necessary. I called Texas Quality Plumbing and tried to reason with the inspection department to submit for a final and they would not approve until I agreed to allow them make the repairs and even insisted to a payment plan because I explained I could not afford all the repairs quoted. It was not until I threatened to file a complaint with the state that they agreed to send a final permit inspection to the city, and I could just sign a waiver, decline repairs and pay for any additional trips the city inspector has to make.The city inspector came in and confirmed non of the repairs the plumber quoted were necessary and I only needed to do 4 things to get my green tag and only 1 of those required an actual part which we purchased for less than 25$ and installed it on the water heater. Consumers be aware and ask a lot of questions before agreeing to prices and repairs. Get several quotes and read reviews. The lack of honesty was disappointing because if I had gotten a quote in line with the city inspector, I would have been happy to give them the job to make the repairs. Nonetheless, they delayed my inspection for being dishonest, and I had to continue to take care of essential needs like purchasing food, taking showers, and cooking meals with family members . I will file a complaint with the state because of the delay. I was held hostage to their greed.

Texas Quality Plumbing has been fantastic as I tried to resolve a sewer line issue between the city and my line. They have been out and met with the City to get resolution on the City side of the line. I highly recommend the company. The front office and all the technicians that have come out have been great. I almost hate to put this out there because I don’t want them to get to busy. But it is a well deserved honest review.

For many years, I have used TQP at both my home and my place of business. They have come out for a few small jobs inside, for the french drains outside, and for a number of other urgent repairs. Every time, I've had a wonderful experience and received the high-caliber outcomes I wanted.I recently made the decision to renovate the kitchen in my house. Additionally, I wanted to replace the galvanized pipes with new PEX lines everywhere throughout the house.In order to use the gas appliances in the kitchen, I also needed to move a drainage pipe and vent from the upper floor and extend the gas line from the laundry room. This was necessary so I could add a second entrance to the kitchen.I was informed that the job would take a week to complete because it involved two levels and required running pipe underground, which required breaking concrete in order to re-run some pipe as I had requested for the kitchen island. For this significant assignment, they assigned me a 2 guy crew, and they were amazing.They were respectful, kind, informed, and above all else, professional. They were on time for both the start and the finish. There were no surprises or delays. I appreciate Texas Quality Plumbing doing another good work.

Ramon came to my home to detect where the water was coming from and he shared what was going to happen throughout the process. I was made aware of my sheetrock being cut and that I would have to get it repaired after the repair was completed. The very next day Jose and Sergio came to make the repairs and it was OUTSTANDING. I have seen plumbing repairs by other companies and this was the best job ever, it looked like it was new and they cleaned everything up when they finished. I asked them to give me a bid on replacing some pipes in my garage that was not done well by another company and they quickly checked it and gave me the total. I asked how soon they could come back to fix it and they asked when it was convenient for me, so they scheduled it the very next day. Cedrick came to complete that repair and it was OUTSTANDING again. The employees at Texas Quality Plumbing are respectful and treat you as if you are important. They are the absolute best plumbing company I have ever encountered. I will always call them for plumbing repairs I need in my home.

Their customer service is amazing. I live in an older home so unfortunately I've had to call them out quite a bit. Every time I've gotten a different technician and every time they're so incredibly helpful and friendly. I tried to use a different company last year and had a totally different experience, so now I just wait to get on their schedule if something comes up. They recently redid all my pipes and not only did their quote come in lower than others, they finished the job pretty quickly, didn't make much of a mess, and were in constant communication with me. I highly recommend them!

Gas line repair. Got my gas light repair done in time for the closing of my home sale. I can't express how much stress it relieved us from. They were expedient, professional, and saved us from additional expense. We'd highly recommend!

I had a poor experience using this business to fix my hot water heater in July and August 2022.We have a fairly new and common Noritz tankless hot water heater which stopped working in mid-July.I went with the fix proposed by them, spent over $1,000 doing so. They have been out 5 times since(hot water has been intermittently on and off since then), a few different technicians- and no one has been able to figure out why their repair can't fix the problem.The office manager at TQP also has been hard to get a hold of and doesn't always return calls.Finally I called another company this week.Their technician figured out the problem within an hour or so - it was a faulty valve not the sensor they replaced. Furthermore, the other company arranged to get my parts replaced under the warranty, which TQP didn't tell me was at least an option. I will not be using them again.

I had them come out to detect a plumbing leak at my commercial space. The tech drilled holes in my wall and was not able to find the leak and concluded that it was coming from the retail space next door. I told him where the water was coming out from the most, but it didn't seem like he actually looked there. So he left and charged $365 after concluding the leak wasn't in my shop. I had to call another plumber out to find the issue and they found the leak, fixed it, and even left the shop vac and dehumidifier for us to use. The other plumber charged a reasonable price for all the work they did, too. Would not recommend Texas Quality Plumbing.

I can confidently recommend TQP for your commercial plumbing needs based on my experience. My first experience was with a toilet stopage down the line before the cleanout access. Another company quoted me a bazillion dollars based upon they needed to bring out the Godzilla auger. Ok. I called TQP. They were prompt, got here on time completely prepared to resolve the problem. They quoted me fairly, I paid them 1/2 up front and they were done in reasonably short order. They presented pictures of the problem before and the solved problem after completion. I paid the balance due as a happy customer. My second experience was the same. If you need the job done right and want a fair price, give these guys a try. I'm giving Texas Quality Plumbing a 5/5 stars even though my experience wasn't perfect. I brought them in after another Plumbing service said they cleared the line but didn't and refused to stand behind their work. TQP sent a guy out who couldn't clear the clog and felt it was in the city's line. The City said it wasn't in their line and TQP sent someone back out for another evaluation when I called back. He discounted the running of a jetter to break through the blockage due to the initial misdiagnosis. They got the line cleared AND cleaned up the area which was greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend their service, it means a lot to me when someone is helpful, stands behind their work and is cordial if there are issues.

I had a slow dripping water leak from the ceiling, my insurance company requested Texas Quality Plumbing to fix the problem, initially, they scheduled 2 days later to come, but promised they would come earlier if they can, and they came the next day. after they came, the 2 workers quickly identified the source of leak, and explained it clearly to me and prompt fixed the leak. they were polite and professional. I was very happy with their services.

Texas Quality Plumbing was assigned to me through my home warranty. They have competent workers but cannot communicate with each other or the client. I have issues with my sink filling up, slow drain, and backing up into the dishwasher. new garbage disposal later, as the picture indicates, the problem remains! I had to inform the technician to run the snake and clear the line.On a separate note, even though it took about a month, I will say they did a great job with replacing my toilet.So I think it's a hit and miss with them.

Resolvable problems were fixed on the spot, and quotes to fix the bigger problems were provided immediately without having to wait days. Definitely recommend.

BEYOND TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! If TQP is assigned to your claim thru HomeServe, then you need to immediately request another contractor to complete the repairs. TQP will send unqualified technicians out to complete repairs, then tell their customer the equipment needed to complete the repair is assigned to another team for the day resulting in a another day going by and repairs NOT being completed. TQP damaged our home last week on Monday while attempting repairs, and still has NOT fixed damages caused by them. We've had a gapping hole in our ceiling for a week now and the 4th team that TQP has sent out today says (once again) they are unable to complete the repairs. Shame on Texas Quality Plumbing!!!

Excellent troubleshooting and repair work for a Navien tankless heater. They worked with Navien's technical support team--who were frankly quite rigid and inefficient--and found a way to extract the support out of them that was needed. All that said, they could use a new dispatcher, or give that young gentleman some training. I won't name names.

Yo, I set up an appointment for a outdoor exterior leaking pipe. Jose showed up in a company van. Dressed in company uniform. Before he fixed the issue he let me know the invoice & policy. I agreed to have the work done since I was impressed. He was very professional & quick. He addressed the situation & immediately got to work. Signed the bill & paid with my check. This was a very simple transaction, If i have a problem in the first year the work done is under warranty! So far so good! Very happy with the service I receive each time with this company!

Our drains were clogged and we had another plumber come out that could not fix it with the equipment that he had and he recommended we contact Texas Quality Plumbing. I watched as the Javier and Atom went around to all of the showers, toilets and sinks to analyze where the clog was located. They came up with a strategy. The cost for their solution was very reasonable and it worked. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the mess caused by the backup. They were friendly, courteous and professional. They worked for almost 3 hours and the bill was very much less than I expected.

I had an undermount bathroom sink replaced. From start to finish the schedulers were receptive. I had two technicians and Cedric was very impressive. The technicians were knowledgeable, timely and worked effectively. They also wore masks and boot covers, which can sometimes be awkward to request. I will definitely use this provider again!

I called Texas Quality Plumbing and the office staff was very friendly and said they would have someone out within a hour and a half to three hours. I received a call 30 minutes later and Steve and Daniel showed up 45 minutes after i called them. They were very professional and had the issue fixed quickly at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend these guys and will use them in the future for plumbing needs and issues.

Had to call back because still having leaking issues. But all and all I’ve had good experience with Texas Quality Plumbing. Just the few water leaking issues under my bathroom sink in the master bath.

In general, Texas Quality Plumbing did a good job of replacing a shower cartridge. It would be even better if they can communicate better about their timing of arrival. Especially if the technicians have to have a lunch first, they need to have a backup plan to honor promise to the customer on the time interval of plumbing repair.

They protected the floors throughout prior to starting work and cleaned up each day. Pepe and Frank worked very professionally and kept us informed throughout the process. Pepe solved problems creatively to minimize the impact on the drywall. At the end of each they gave us a summary of what had been completed and what we should expect the next day.

Center point called them out to fix a gas leak at my house. They said all that needed to be fixed was an extension on my vent line for the hot water heater. I extended my vent myself. They came to inspect my work. I only worked on the vent outside the house and the vent was connected just fine. They inspect the house and break my vent line off of the hot water heater. The tech Adam said that his partner broke it and he was getting on his nerves. I was cool with that I told him I would fix it on my lunch break. He leaves a quote to fix what they broke with my wife while I ran to the store to buy what's needed to fix what they broke.Called the office and the lady just acted like since it's not happening to her it don't matter.

We have used this company for a couple of years for minor repairs and maintenance and have been very pleased with their work.During the past month we used them for the plumbing work in our bath remodel and they exceeded our expectations!They always arrived when scheduled and came out several times as the work progressed. Rosa and Mario were super helpful in answering my questions and in scheduling the technicians appropriate for each stage of our job.The technicians were very polite and competent. The office staff did a great job of communicating via email and phone.Would definitely recommend them and will use them again for future plumbing needs.

Came out in Nov 2021 through Home Serve, did not identify leak, even though we called bc there was a water mark after they installed a new aater heater. Called back out in Jan 2022 and admitted the leak was very small and barely visible, ceiling is now falling in! They are stating it is not covered under Home Serve insurance so to change the T where the leak is, it will be $500 and the ceiling is my problem. Unacceptable in my opinion. Not satisfied with them nor Home Serve.

Great work by Frank and his partner. Showed up a little later than expected (I imagine they've been busy), but installed our toilet quickly, quietly, and didn't leave a mess. I'll definitely call TQP back with other plumbing needs. Thanks guys!

Made appointments but never showed. I had to make lots of calls to lots of people and after 17 days without gas, it was finally fixed. No thanks to TQP.

I have no doubt the glowing and articulate reviews that speak of good communication, courteous and professional service, and these guys arriving with a “team” are paid reviews. My review is the opposite on all these points. They don’t communicate issues to their plumbers, arrive later than their scheduled time, lie about calling in advance and have never called me back, even days after they said they would. After months of working with these guys to try to get a leak fixed, I’m moving on and warning others to skip this listing.

The plumber who came to fix our toilet was wonderful. He wore a mask the entire time without being asked. He was completely unobtrusive. He completed the job quickly and cleanly. The bathroom had just been cleaned that morning and it looked untouched. The caulking job at the base of the toilet is very clean and neat (the last people did it were pretty sloppy).

Knowledgeable, gave a good price, and took the time to explain everything. The technicians worked hard and were even there late because they ran into unexpected problems behind the wall. I will definitely use them again!

Great and professional plumber and professional customer support staff. For my cost and my apartment size shallow, double sink, a taller kitchen faucet would have been appropriate than the low-lying tiny handled faucet that was sent. We are greatful not to have a leaky faucet. But, the new, lower faucet makes it difficult to wash anything other than flatware or fill a large pot. I had to call for service after install was approved. Otherwise I would have rated five stars.

Chris was a great help! While our issue was not able to be corrected by him he was able to help us identify the source of our plumbing issues so we could take the next steps. He was respectful, courteous, and understanding. We would recommend his services.

Texas Quality Plumbing came to our rescue when the toilet at our Academy was out of order, they helped us set an appointment ASAP, and were punctual. They fixed our plumbing issue promptly and did a very good job, we were extremely satisfied with the work done. The reason we are able to leave a two-star review, however, is that one of the plumbers by the name Miguel Serrano that completed this job for us has been pestering our manager (we are still not sure how he acquired her personal information) all over personal social media and phone calls. Jake did a great job re-installing an undermount sink, which was installed originally two years ago but fell down. Jake
made sure the sink is properly supported with 2x4's this time so it won't fall down again. It is great to do business with a company who stand behind their work.

I had a sewer line which keeps filling up with water. When I flushed the toilet, water came up in the bathtub. This company came out twice to my home and never fixed the problem. The problem happened again a few days after the second time they were here even though that bathroom was not used. So I made a third appointment several days in advance. They made an appointment with me knowing they would need a camera and a jetter even though their machine was in the shop for repairs. Then they got behind schedule and didn't even show up for their appointment!! I finally got tired of going around in circles with this company. They don't know how to fix the problem, don't bring the equipment they need to do the job, and don't show up for their appointments. They even tried to blame the city for the problem although it clearly was not a city problem. Don't waste your time with this company.

First time they sent an inexperienced technician,I wasn’t satisfied with the explanation so I complained and next day they sent Mr Pepe Coronel who analyzed the problem and said he could fix it. He did a quick and professional job, cleaned up the area. I strongly recommend Mr Coronel

We had yet another leak in the ceiling and determined that all of our galvanized pipes needed to be replaced. We had used TQP for minor work before, had liked them, so decided to give them a call. Their quote was very fair - almost half the price of a bigger company. They first came to prep the house and then worked on my pipes for 6 days straight (2 story, 3 bath, etc.). I cannot say enough good things about them and the quality of their work. Our lead plumber was Pepe Coronel and he was assisted by Frankie. They were both extremely respectful and did not stop working the entire time. I received a bio email every morning, along with a courtesy phone call to let me know they were coming, but the best part was Pepe walking through everything with me before he'd leave - he would show me what they had done that day and explained how everything worked. They would also clean up at the end of the day and let me know what the plan was for the following day. They made a bad situation bearable and I am happy to have had them do the work. They will be my first choice when I need any plumbing-related services.

I used Texas Quality Plumbing several years ago and was very pleased so this time when I had a small plumbing problem I called them and they came out next day. They were quick in the repair, cleaned up accordingly and their estimate was spot on. They even put on my bath spout for me at no extra cost. Additionally, they worked with my billing process (my home is in a trust and billing sometimes can take a day) with no added issues or problems and seemed to be happy to help. They guys that came out were spectacular and friendly. Very willing to help and get done. I even got a nice recycle back with gifts inside. I say they are great and will use them going forward!!

Came to finish a job I couldn't complete for a bidet. The area between the toilet and wall is extremely tight. They were able to finish it, but I apparently re-threaded the plastic coupling. While there, they were also able to replace the dryer gas shut-off valve which was awesome.The reason why I couldn't give 5 stars is the fill bowl had an issue with the gasket where water wasn't coming out of the hose correctly to fill it. They did a great job with what they laid hands on, but a 5-star experience would've meant being proactive and fixing what was broken.

We had a clogged drain in the same spot for the second time in 3 years. Texas quality plumbing fixed the problem for us for $190 a few years ago. Since the price was reasonable and they were able to complete the first time, I decided to give them the business again. Same fix this time and they charged us $385...hard to believe that they can do business like this in a tough Houston economy. Important to note that they fixed our clogged drain but I'll be doing business with another company next time.

Mike and William were honest and repaired by garbage disposal without trying to sell me a new one. As a consumer you always fear that you are getting ripped off. This time I do not. It was a fair price for their time and effort. You have to pay for good quality service and I’m happy that I called them.

They were incredibly responsive - I reported a leak on their website at 9pm Friday night. They called at 8:30 AM Saturday morning. They came, they saw, they fixed an urgent problem. 5 Stars for being responsive professionals. They did not pull permits prior to doing the work like my city requires. Now the work is done and the companies permit person is behind. They assured me the permits would be pulled yesterday so that the inspector could come out today. That did not happen. So i have been without gas now for a week. It’s going to be 35 degrees tonight and I will still have no heat for my house and no hot water. When I advised the lady on the phone of this her response to me was “your not the only one we are going down the list”. To further the problem tomorrow is New Years so the city to get the permit for the inspector to come out will be closed and the inspector will not work tomorrow. So I will now be without gas for even longer. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!

The two plumbers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get right to work and finished up very quickly.I did not have the time to compare their price so I cannot speak to their affordability. However, for having a minor plumbing emergency and coming when they said they would I feel I paid a fair price.

Of course this happened on a Friday afternoon and all plumbing companies weren't taking any more appointments until Monday. I called Texas Quality Plumbing and they were at my house in 30 MINUTES!!! Texas Quality Plumbing came to my house to repair a leak from the riser on the side of the house. They did an excellent job of determining what might have caused the leak in the first place. They not only fixed the leak, but they also corrected the piping in order to eliminate any undesired stress on the pipe that could potentially cause a leak in the future. I am very satisfied with their response time and their professionalism.

I had same day service. The gentlemen who cam out were very upfront about the work, time, and cost required so there were no surprises. I would recommend Texas Quality Plumbing, and they will be my first call in the future.

It took two service calls for my repair. However, both issues could have been addressed in one visit. First visit was the installation of a gas shut off valve ($170). The second was a pressure test of the system ($594). The shut off valve took less than 15 minutes; the gas pressure test was only slightly more than an hour. I was informed I was paying for a gas company inspection and city permit even though the property is not in the city limits. My correction of this fact was ignored by Texas Quality Plumbing and Eric. My call to Centerpoint indicated my service was not in an area where a permit would be required. I saw this as an effort to run up my bill. I felt compelled to pay and was asked to do so before the job was completed. Unfortunately, I needed the gas back on as soon as possible due to the cold weather and being 2 days before Christmas for the first visit and just days before the New Year's holidays on the second visit. My call to the main office was never returned nor did they provide any justification for the cost of a nonexistent permit.

Jose Gonzalez came out to my moms Heights bungalow after countless other companies had and was honest, diligent, and performed quality work. Unlike the other big name companies like ABACUS who told me my mom needed her entire pipe system redone and that they could help finance the 14k quote.Jose was amazing and I will use Texas Quality Plumbing again based on the quality of work, honestly, value, and cost.

Can’t speak to quality. Service man was young yet professional. Have a pinhole leak in a 3/4” copper pipe. I was charged $70 for man to show and TQP wanted to waive the $70 if I let them make the repair - for nearly $500! 500 for a dab of solder, really?! I have spent $70 to be able to never call again. Robbery, Inc.Well I don’t know how to answer to your reply to my review other than to update my review. No Richard Dilley is the name and you have only to track the $70 you took to do nothing. BTW, called on one of your compeditors who came right out, told me that a soler job would not fix the problem. For $340 they cut out a section of pipe where the pin hole leak was and installed a section of Pex (spelling?). The young man you sent out, I feel, was not very experienced nor very well trained. If you want to refund that $70, you charged me to send out an untrained novice, I will not mind a bit.

These guys get the job done right the 1st time. I have used them for several homes. I highly recommend them and only them. Plus their staff is super customer friendly. From the office staff to the staff on the field. Some of their plumbers are young men but don't let that fool you. These guys are well trained.

Brandon and Jose were my service technicians. They were polite and professional and patient with the plumbing issues in our house. They also went above & beyond, by not only fixing the issue, but providing me with a preventative maintenance plan in order to keep our drains clear and flowing. The company also brought us a BarkBox for our dogs as a complimentary gift after purchasing x amount of services. We needed a toilet replaced at our house and my wife suggested TQP as she had them out to do a water heater repair at our manufacturing facility. I called and the girl on the phone was very nice and she set an appointment for the next afternoon. They showed up on time (although i was taking a nap and they almost left) and completed the install in a timely maner. The techs were very professional and accommodating. They walked into a bathroom that was a mess and after they left you couldn't tell anything happened. The price was very reasonable. The tech was communicative and ammicable as to how to keep upstairs drains clear. good information. Very pleased. Thanks.

Basically incompetent. Had them attempt to service a drain and garbage disposal at my rental property. Renters called me directly to express their concern that the technician they sent out was clueless. Spoke to plumber/tech directly and had to instruct him what to do and check. His only suggestion was to replace my brand new garbage disposal (about 6 months old) at a cost of $700 min (not making this up). I paid the $75 service fee to get him off the property and had it serviced. Avoid!

These guys are great, fast, affordable and super professional. I have a home warranty and it's such a pain to deal with them. I will use Texas Quality Plumbing going forward. I would reccomend to family and friends.

Overall, I was ok with the installation. Although the person installing was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable, there was one thing done wrong that, had I not noticed it and asked them to change it, would have been a major issue. The unit was positioned right up next to my furnace, not allowing room to change the filter, which has to be done every 6 months. This would have required a total re-install of the system, but luckily I went up into the attic to check when the team left for lunch.Also, my outside water hose was disconnected without mentioning it to me. It looks like it may have been removed with pliers because I can tell the metal is scarred. Now I cannot get it to properly seal and I will have to buy a new water hose. Nothing was mentioned to me before the installers left about this, so I did not know they had even disconnected the water hose until I tried to use it.The unit is working well so far. Thanks...M

Very professional and so timely! We have used them for several jobs from cutting a pipe in the wall to new outdoor spigots, burst front yard pipe and little leaks. They patched the wall so nicely we just had to paint over it and sold the house with no one even noticing the wall repair. Just had them out to fix some pipes leading to the sprinklers and they were careful of all of my plants and landscaping, and insulated each little pipe. All of their work holds up and they have a 1 year warranty. Def recommend this place. Wish they did more than plumbing!

It was difficult to find someone to install new under mount sink. They were able to do the work, showed up on time, repaired quickly and we’re very professional!

On time and highly professional. They deserve 5 stars except for this:I was quoted a $65.00 service call fee. No problem, come out and tell me what's wrong.The plumbers arrive, assessed the situation (slow draining kitchen sink), and quoted me a price. They were unable to unclog the drain (most likely a collapsed pipe) but still charge me $310 for the service.Now, I certainly understand getting paid for doing a job, but fully charging for incomplete work seems wrong. For this reason the company earns just 3 stars.

Called for a gas inspection ($450 - and said that was discounted!). They found a water shutoff valve not working properly on the water heater. Replaced for $150. In the process, broke a copper pipe that they claimed needed to be replaced anyway as it was old ($150). Came back next day and found another problem with a different gas heater ($350). Came back next business day with city inspector and found that the pilot of a gas heater would not stay lit after we reported no hot water all weekend. They said it just 'happens sometimes' and needs to be replaced ($400). I should've stopped this long before but I'm finally having someone else come and take a look.The technicians that came were very nice as well as the answering office staff when I called, but I can't help but feel like they are trained to find/create problems...UPDATE: Had another plumber out. He got the water heater lit and staying lit in 15 minutes...so glad I didn't drop another $400!!!

I understand that the job was to remove a tub and replace with a new tub. I was told that they, the Plumbers, had diamond saws that they could probably save some of the tiles surrounding the tub. Upon their arrival I informed them what I had been told by Jerry. They informed me, NO! they cannot be saved. When they left all the tiles around the tub had been destroyed. They even cracked a floor tile at the edge of the tub, adding to my new project because I had to chisel out that tile to replace it! Now I was left to go out and try to find the exact tiles to replace the ones destroyed. I just purchased the faucet, which was not left from the old tub and new handles and replaced them and now the water did not appear to be draining correctly. Sorry, won't be using you again! Had another plumber come in and clear the drain problem.

If you are looking for high quality and professional service, go with Texas Quality Plumbing. Chris may be the best plumber in Houston. Texted and called in advance with estimated time of arrival per GPS. Diagnosed the issue and fixed a 1000 gal/hour underground leak in one day. Thoroughly tested the fix and improved the piping layout to mitigate recurrence. Put grass back where he dug up the yard. Sent all pictures to me along with the invoice.

Awful service. Had a shower diverter that needed replacing in a rental property. These guys were in and out in under 5 minutes and charged me for a full service. All they did was screw the diverter back in. Even my tenants were shocked at how hasty the service was and questioned if they fixed the issue. To no one's surprise, the diverter broke off again less than 2 days later. The day the diverter broke again was a Sunday and apparently these guys are off on Sundays. Unfortunately my tenants had to shower so I had to call in a plumber from another company to fix the issue.Texas Quality refused to give me a refund for their shoddy work. Highly recommend going for another company if you want to have your plumbing issues fixed reliably.

After paying over $6000.00 to have my home foundation leveled, Texas Quality Plumbing damage the cylinder under my home. Now on the side they worked on is has a lot of stress which is causing creaking noise. Immediately, after it happened, They did not pull the necessary permits to work on the sewer/drainage line which is a violation. I spoke to the owner that stated he would take care of it. I had to file a BBB complaint to get them to do anything. To no surprise the owner conveniently forgot and stating they did not damage my home. We've gone back and forth at the BBB without any resolution. I spoke to Ram Jack about coming out to see underneath the home since did not close the opening up. After I told them the City was coming out to inspect the work and Ram Jack would be by to look at the damages, they hurried and put all the dirt back. Texas Quality Plumbing impersonated me with Ram Jack Office to get information on an estimate. The estimate Ram Jack gave me was in April 2017 or front part of my house. Apparently, they did not care it is illegal to impersonate anyone for information that's not in their name. I have file Identity Theft with Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General Office. In addition, I've asked BBB to close the complaint as unresolved. I retain an attorney for legal actions against Texas Quality Plumbing. I will not pay another $6000.00 to repair what had already been repaired.

I was grateful they were available to unclog my drain on Saturday afternoon, but I thought the price was a bit high. Also, they put on booties to cover their shoes when they came in but then didn't remove them when they went back out and came back in and tracked in mud. I also noticed that they had unrolled the yard hose but just left it laying in the yard and didn't bother putting it back on the holder.

I was very worried about my leak in my house. I had gotten different quotes from other companies and they were very high and I would have to wait a couple of days for the work to be done..I had been without water for 6 days. Seemed to do quality work, but miscommunicated with me on the price of a new valve installation on my waterheater (i.e. I thought the price quoted was the total, not in addition to what I was already paying). After I registered my discontent the guy went on to try to upsell me again.Given TQP's high prices and communication issues I will shop around more next time.

had them come out to my rental property and tech told me that pipe underground in the front yard needed to be carved out by breaking the concrete sidewalk and replaced for 1800$. I declined the work and called a popular plumbing company that comes out on tv , they diagnosed all the plumbing in the home for me and told me there are no pipes that run in front yard, the main line is in backyard ! they charged me a small fee and cleaned out a clog and everything is working fine now !

Guys did a great job! Came out same day and replaced our shutoff valves that were leaking and really corroded. Fantastic job, would recommend for sure!

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. The technicians came out to fix an issue with too little hot water in our downstairs shower. They diagnosed a bad cartridge and they changed it, and flushed the hot water tank. After they did that we had NO hot water at all. Ok, they left and different crew came back the next day. Repressurized the tank and all seemed ok. Until the next day and it was clear our hot water in the shower, where the original problem was diagnosed, still did not work. Guys had to come back out and change out the cartridge that controls the hot/cold water. Ok, seems like a bad one was installed. I guess we are all good now. Nope, couple days later the hot water seems to be barely working and yet another call. Turns out the recirculating pump for the hot water heater was dead. Technician disconnected, and bypassed it and everything finally works OK. He offered to install a new one for $400 (initially he said $450) but based on the experience we had, the expertise seems lacking. The phone staff and guys were pleasant to work with and all of the follow up calls were done ASAP, but 4 trips out for one minor issue is just too many.

No show no update. Called two days in advance to schedule plumber to fix bathtub leaks between 8am-12pm. So I take the morning off work. Called again on the day at 8am to confirm. They said they would come after one job. Waited and waited until 11:30am, called and they moved to 2pm-5pm. When I asked why, then they suggested I reserved 2-5 myself. What a lie. I had to take another PTO for the afternoon and called another plumber (of course I cancelled Texas Quality right away). Wasted my PTO. The other plumber showed up late in afternoon. He had delays due to rain but he kept me updated via text, unlike Texas Quality, kept me in the dark. My time is valuable too. Stay away.

The guy they sent to my house is a hack not a plumber. He made up a plumbing fixture and made it about a half inch short, rather than fix it, hebent the existing plumbing to mate, causing a leak in an existing valve. He would not take responsibility for the problem that he caused. The existing valve did not leak before he showed up, and leaked before he left. The existing plumbing was originally level, plumb and square, it is now bowed, putting a strain on a valve and causing the body to leak. It also looks ugly. I realize that this company has many employees, but Texas Quality Plumbing 'screened' him and that process is obviously very flawed.

Pepe and his partner was very polite and professional. The job needed a replacement of the tub faucet and was done in a couple of hours. It look like brand new.

Good: aggressive price, prompt service.Not good: left their dirty hose sitting in my upstairs hall and the bathtub with dirty water. But most important, they couldn't get the water heater electric cord plugged in (outlet was full) so they simply left with the water heater unplugged and never told anyone.

Poor customer service, I checked their website and saw they say they have state of the art leak detection equipment, but when I called them the lady who answers the phone doesn't seem to be aware whether they have the equipment or not. She told me they don't have leak detection machine at all. I called back and asked her why is your website saying you have state of the art leak detection equipment and she put me on hold to ask around, then she said it's broken now. Something fishy makes you not to deal with this type of service.

Do not use this company!! My 82 year old mother didn't have gas service for 2 weeks! No hot water and no gas stove. If you use them be ready too wait and wait and wait for your project to be completed. VERY dissatisfied!!!

Crazy problem with a leak in the water line coming from the city meter -- which was on the other side of my neighbor's driveway. The excavation they did was therefore in my neighbor's yard. They were careful and other than the inevitable dirt settling that came in the days afterwards left things in great shape.... and they fixed the neighbor's broken sprinkler line we uncovered as well. Their work reflected on my relationship with my neighbor, and I appreciated the care they took and the speed with which it was done. Now to fight with the city on why they did things this way :/

They flushed the tankless hot water heater. Were here early and pleasant to work with. Their price was about $75 lower than another quote I got.

Highly disappointing service. I was quoted one amount over the phone and the plumber told me it was going to be double when he arrived. He left while the toilet was leaking and blamed me for the materials used. I ended up having to pay another plumber to fix the mess they left.Perhaps all of their plumbers aren't this bad, but one sure is.
