Nick's Plumbing & Air Conditioning

I had to replace a main drain line for my utility room (to the sewer main) and a gas main from the meter to my home. Project involved some interconnecting trenching in the backyard, quite a bit. The Nick's team (Eric ran the project) did a great job. Started Monday, city inspection and backfill done by Thursday. Great communication, neat, orderly and clean. They handled changes and adversity well as the project moved. Great group.

Nick’s plumbing used to be good and honest, however that is not the case anymore. We recently had a small leak at the natural gas connection to the water heaters and one furnace, so Centerpoint shut it off and told us to call a plumber to reseal the connections. So we called directly to Nick’s based on the positive experience before. First they only addressed the water heaters and did not even check the furnace, so the natural gas to furnace is still shut off with Centerpoint’s tag. Secondly and most importantly, the technician was not honest about the work needs to done. He called my wife about the repairs and told her the flexible hoses leaked and must be replaced, then my wife agreed to proceed. But once I received the repair details and invoice, I called to confirm with technician on where the leak is, after some exchange, he eventually confirmed that there was no leak on the hose and stated he would charge me the same for re-applying sealant to the connections whether the hose is replaced or not, I guess that’s the “minimum” charge for him to do any work or the trip charge. When I asked about Centerpoint’s recommendations, he just dismissed it as it is his call on what he would repair. At the end, we were charged near $400 to reseal the 2 connections. Nick’s plumbing did not stay true to their “values” when they were a smaller plumbing company. Needless to say, we won’t be calling them for any future works anymore.

Reached out to Nick's for a tankless water heater repair. The crew who showed up was extremely professional, well articulated and completely knowledgeable about all facets of tankless water heater operation and repair. They approached the problem in a couple of different ways starting with a repair and service and due to the nature of the challenge and age of the unit moved into recommending a replacement. The amount of time it took to get the install done and competed was amazingly quick and they left the workplace as clean and tidy as they found it. They were detailed, explained everything and then took pictures and documented what was completed. I am extremely satisfied with the work and the effort they rendered to complete the install and definitely will leverage Nick's for services in the future. I would recommend them. Work done was in January 2023.

Wow! Nick’s is an amazing company! Our tech Chris came out to service some errors on our HVAC which included some plumbing /Drain issues.With in 2 hours he had it’s all fixed. They gave us a great reasonable price and even better service. I feel like Covid and post Covid all service lrociders have lost the art of customer service but Chris and Nick’s plumbing were wonderful. I’ll call them for any HVAC or plumbing need! Eric Perez, of Nick’s Plumbing, showed up early and was patient to wait for someone to arrive to open up the home for gas leak test. He was friendly and pleasant s despite our delay. He was able to go in and look exactly for the issue. Very knowledgeable and gave us options for recommended solutions. Very fast and efficient, was able to begin and finish the job the same day. Great service, we would call again if we ever need any of the services this company offers.

Nick's is an excellent company to use for your plumbing needs. Eduardo came out to our house, gave us a quote and fixed the cartridge replacement that I needed for my shower. He took the extra time to clean out the tub drain and check all the fittings going to the diverter to make sure there were no leaks. We have used Nick's in the past and will continue to use them in the future because of their excellent service! We even received a picture and a short bio of our technician previous to him arriving so that we knew who was coming into our home! Superb service with attention to details!

After having issues with our kitchen sink then later our water heater they came out and provided reliable service! Service person Valton came out and help me and my mother with all the issues we had. Plus the crew he had come out to fix the sink was amazing and work diligent! We finally have a working kitchen sink and better water heater! I had an exterior pipe burst after the last freeze, unfortunately on Christmas weekend. I was able to book an appointment with Nick's online and Ethan came out on Monday after Christmas. I received a phone call alerting me when he was on his way and he arrived on time, was very professional and personable. He explained what needed to be done clearly without mansplaining. The cost was pricey but plumbing and AC/heating issues to a 20-year old home tend to be. I would definitely use Nick's again and I will request Ethan.

The communications system was timely, the team showed up as promised. The men were professional and very easy to work with. I trusted their knowledge and they did not disappoint. I called nick’s because my kitchen sinks would not drain. I believed the problem was the external pipe from the kitchen that needed to be cleaned out. The pipe is old and periodically ends to be cleaned.I called Nick’s and they said they would send someone within a couple of hours.Then along came Jerrod who had cleaned the pipe a year ago. He immediately began to check the external pipe only to find it was not blocked.It turned out it was a leak in the kitchen wall which needless to say was much more complicated. While diagnosing the problem which took a while, he explained everything he was doing, showed me pictures as he fixed the problem. I give him two thumbs up (more if possible). He was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely basis and the price was fair. I will use them for any future plumbing needs.Leslie Holmes

I needed an old valve to be repaired, and some work done on a my badly installed water heater. Their quote was very reasonable, the work was quick, and they explained and showed all of the work they did. Eduardo was my tech and he was communicative the whole time, gave me advice for maintenance, and even pointed out some things to look out for, being in an old house with galvanized steel pipes. Nick's will be my go-to for plumbing work from here on out.

These guys are very good at what they do but only choose them if you can afford to spend $500 an hour. No lie the hose from my sink to my fridge needed to be replaced and they were available but it costed $477.24. So about $450 an hour. Just seems like a lot even if it was an emergency call and it wasn’t. Can’t imagine what the price would be then. Their expertise was amazing but not $500 an hours worth

Will not use again. Let me first say, I have used Nicks plumbing in the past and received great service. That is why I called them again. My bathroom sink was clogged, water had not gone down in 36 hours. The technician came and told me that the estimate for the work was 297.00 I agreed and he proceeded. The sink was unclogged in less than an hour. I was told by the technician, they ran the snake for 20ft and that nothing was found except some hair. Total invoice was for 297.00 the same that the estimate was for. I was taken back that for less than hour and for two people to be at my home using nothing but a snake used (which is a tool they have on their trucks)When questioning the price was it included, the warranty estimate said 90 days and the the technician said 30 days because of the legalese words on the estimate. The technician could not define the charges and told me that I agreed to the estimate. Talked to a manager at the Nicks Plumbing only to be told that he did not understand why I was questioning the work, the charges since my drain was cleared. Oh and to told that yes it was a 90 days warranty.I believe I was overcharged and will never use them again.

I’ve used Nick’s a few times now, both for service and installation. I love how they’re upfront and transparent. I never feel like they’re trying to obscure how to best take care of your house in the hopes of getting later business. Will definitely use them again.

A technician came to the site on time.I expected the technician analyzed the problem and advised what to take next step of my tankless water heater.He did not do anything and asked me if I had to get diagnostic service, which would costs would be around $338.I asked if he can provide me washers to be used for connection of the water heater.If he cannot provide it, it should have answered “sorry I wish I could provide the washers, but you have to buy valve assemblies” that would be fine.However, he responded and complained I asked him to provide free. I never asked him to provide washers with free. I just asked if he can provide washers.His reaction was really unprofessional and I did not want to get business with this manner.

Ethan Coker, came out for Nick's Plumbing. The best plumber I've ever delt with. He really made me feel like he knew what he was talking about & doing. He also gave me great confidence the price was right & fair. Him & his apprentice made short work of our two water heaters. Excellent professionalism both of them & you could tell how good of a teacher he was. I highly recommend.

We have been pleased with all of the work that Nick's Plumbing has done for us in the past and decided to try out their new Air Conditioning services. We had a phenomenal experience and put our new VIP membership to good use! Miguel came to do an initial inspection, walked us through our A/C system, and made several recommendations on how to improve our units' cooling efficiency in our house. We decided to proceed with installing new supply plenums and new return air vents/ductwork.Emmanuel and James did a great job on the install, and were polite, timely, professional, and cleaned up the area afterwards. Eduardo of Nick’s Plumbing did an excellent job of replacing my outside faucet. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do and did a very nice job. I recommend this company. The scheduling was fast and easy and Eduardo arrived in the timeframe given.

Nick's Plumbing & Air Conditioning is a excellent choice. I have had them out twice. The first time they installed a toilet and fixed a leak. The second time was to check on the air conditioner drain pipe. Both times they sent me a text letting me know who was coming and their picture. The work and the professionalism is hard to come by these days. Nick's Plumbing ROCKS!

My daughter lives in the same condominium community (Hammerly Woods Condos) and had a very bad experience with a newly installed A/C unit purchased through another company. When she had problems with her new unit- One Hour charged her $85.00 to come out and tell her that it was a plumbing problem (drain pipe was clogged)and not covered under her newly purchased A/C maintenance contract. Through pure luck she found Nick’s A FULL SERVICE -A/C- Residential & Commercial Plumbing- Sewer Services- Company!So when our A/C went out yesterday - I called Nick’s: so professional and the technicians were here this morning. I can’t express how amazing the technician’s were- problem solved in less than an hour. They also evaluated my old unit- they are scheduled to come back next Friday to address some maintenance issues. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and the breadth of technical knowledge, I signed up today for a maintenance contract. I went from stressed out yesterday to so happy in less than 24 hours! AMAZING COMPANY!!!

I had managed to disable the kitchen sink by disabling the strainer after trying to fix a clogged pipe. I called Nick's and they were out in an hour and a half. There was no upsell and I felt the price was fair. They quickly and expertly replaced the strainer and I was back in business!Good job!

Excellent work done by Gilbert Ray on our tankless water heaters. Gilbert was very smart and able to diagnose and fix the issue with both of our tankless heaters. I had called other plumbing services that had no clue on these technical machines.Nick's plumbing is a 5-star. They have competent staff that can get the job done.

Gilbert and his helper were fantastic. They found a way to treat a chronic issue I have in a more efficient and cost-effective way than had been done previously. Both were super nice, professional, and skilled. They arrive on time both visits. Can’t ask for better

Nick's was responsive and professional, and all of their staff were courteous and helpful. We were able to order a new tankless water heater and get it installed on the same day. Not sure whether or not it is the most affordable option out there, but the service, speed, and responsiveness were all top-notch.

Pros: Nicks was very easy to book. Online scheduling. Responsive. Professional. Quick to fix, on time.Cons: it was quite expensive. I had the exact same service done 3 years ago. Nicks charges were 40% higher than the last company. Yes the provide an estimate but they charge you to come out and who is going to send them away after they are already there. Now I know about inflation but that’s only around 10. I would ask them to estimate costs prior to service. I see many reviews concerning overcharging. They seem to be the smaller jobs. Perhaps if you have a hose or a clogged sink call someone else.

Neil, the technician provided the amount of time required for installation of replacement tankless water heater part. Furthermore he answered other questions I had about the unit. He also looked at another issue and explained what could be done to address that issue. He did a good job.

My technician was Neil Young, an absolute professional at his job. Excellent advice and straight forward pricing. Incredibly fast and efficient. Will definitely be using Nicks plumbing again.

I got some plumbing work done by Nick's and they did an excellent job. The technician who showed up, Valton was professional and knew what he was doing. He arrived on time and was in and out quick; plus he cleaned up the area well before leaving.Any plumbing company is expensive! Nick's was probably a little less so than typical competition.

The tech came in with a smile on his face and repaired my problem quickly. He explained in detail as he worked. His attitude was great and his work ethic was super. I will call ‘Nick’s’ when I have problems in the future. He made them go away quickly and easily. Also the cost was reasonable.

12 pm - 2 pm window. Nobody came until 4 pm after I called through their call center; awful. Had to talk to dispatch about 4-5x. 1st technician called at 12:45 and said he was nearby. Stopped answering dispatch. All that to charge me $49 for the 2nd tech to come and tell me they couldn’t help. Sweet.

I am so very appreciative of Nicks and especially Jarod Johnson, the professional who came to my home yesterday to help me with clogged drains. Jarod was friendly, efficient, and honest. He presented me with my options and I truly believed he was looking out for his customer's best interest in the way of plumbing issues and not just trying to make his employer as much money as possible. I will definitely use Nicks again and will most definitely be requesting Jarod Johnson!

They came out said I needed 1 part done I KNOW I need 2 parts. They didn't carry the parts I needed. I ordered both part cause I know I needed them. He came says oh yes you will need both parts done and will cost more money thank goodness I KNOW I needed both parts.To be put on NOT EVEN BOUGHT1 part $2902part put on $700!So $700 for work not even the parts. We passed and didnt use them. Called TURBO Plumbling and had both parts put on for $300! We needed water heater service.1 do a better job of looking to be what's needed! We paid $49 to get an estimate for a job he didn't even throughly look at.

I had several AC companies come out and tell us that we needed a new HVAC unit. Nick's figured out that a much simpler solution existed and they were spot on! Our house feels great and are very happy with the service from Nick's!

I google searched for a plumber when our hot water heater failed. I reached Nicks Plumbing by phone the old fashioned way. They had a 15 year qualified plumber at my business within 40 minutes of my call. Je diagnosed the problem then gave me the option to repair or replace. I chose to replace . As plumber #1 prepared for the new water heater another plumber from his company brought the new one. I have twin commercial heaters side by side. He brought me the same brand and size. William Blankenship replaced a leaky faucet. He answered all our questions and was very pleased how quickly he was. I’m also impressed we received service in the same day.

Called the company to clean our French drain system. The representative stated that the technician will come out to assess our drains and that the cost of the assessment will be 45 USD. When I asked about their prices for the actual cleaning, she was reluctant to give any estimate even when I emphasized that I would like to know just a rough ball park value (the example I gave was 5000 vs 100 USD).It is unprofessional not to give any idea about the potential price of a service.

They tell you about the trip charge which is quite reasonable ($49). The job was just a small fitting change. What they do not tell you is that they have a $189 minimum for any work. I suppose if you have a big job it is reasonable but pricey for a very few minutes to change a $5 fitting in an easy to access space.

My techs were incredibly informative and did excellent work, I'm very satisfied with the advice I received from them regarding maintenance of my unit and pipes. Would absolutely contact these folks again for additional services in the future.

Called due to a blockage issue at my company. It was urgent and they sent a plumber out right away. despite the huge mess we were dealing with, it was resolved quickly. I’m very pleased with the service.

First tech John Rodriguez showed up on time but with all sorts of excuses why he could not help me. I called and spoke ot Jose who sent Gilbert out. Gilbert arrived late and again full of excuses why he could not do the job today which is Friday. So no gas for me unitl Monday at best. Thank you Nick's Plumbing for wasting my entire day and not repairing anything.

Neil and Gray were great today! They discovered a severed pipe in my attic and were able to repair it and install a new water heater. Would highly recommend this company again!

He did three different jobs to do and he charged like he made a special trip for each job. As an example he charged $150 to run a six foot auger to unclog a toilet, couldn’t take more than a few minutes. If he came only to that I could sort of understand but that was part of a $550 bill. In medicine you can go to jail for unbundling a bill!

Not impressive with their technicians or support team. The technician just showed up and asked 385 up front for camera inspecting my sewer line which they did not inform me when I scheduled the appointment. I made a call afterwards to ask about their “trench less” sewer line repair and the guy on the call was just rude and impatient about any question I asked. Not sure how this company would be able able to help me at all when they are already this unfriendly and unprofessional on the very first visit. I have a sewer line problem that I’m expecting to spend 20 to 40k to fix and Nick Plumbing couldn’t even listen to me for 5 minutes.

We've used Nick's for years for various plumbing-related issues, and they've always been fantastic!Today, we tried their HVAC services for the first time (heating system inspection + A/C smell issue), and true to our experience on the plumbing side, we again had a great experience. Miguel showed up on time, was extremely courteous and let us know (i) everything looked good with the heating system except the motor downstairs might be close to failing since it's drawing more amps when it kicks on (but he didn't recommend a replacement just yet) and (ii) unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about the stinky sock smell in the A/C unit, as that's just the smell of wet aluminum (this is the same thing another HVAC tech told us from another company, but we did just want to get a second opinion). In any case, Miguel was great, and I'm so glad our go-to plumbing service now also provides HVAC services! :)

Have used Nick’s numerous times. They are always responsive and their technicians are most capable and courteous. I always feel comfortable in their hands.

Don Babin came out and gave us an honest assessment of our hot water heater. We appreciated his professionalism and truly appreciated the time he took to explain different options available to us. We will use Nick’s in the future and hope to get Don again.

I scheduled appointment on line for clogged up sewer main. Jarrod Johnson (aka the Drain Detective) showed up on time, we discussed what was happening and he quickly cleared the clog and restored flow. He then ran camera and identified multiple areas of concern (bulges, broken pipe, root interference) that caused the clogging. He took pictures and wrote up a report to provide the City of Houston with so they would repair the damage in the CoH pipes. Jarrod also advised us about what we should (fluids OK) and should not (paper solids) send down the drain to avoid clogging up again. He gave me his card and said “ If this clogs up again before the City can fix the issues, give me call and I’ll be sure to get you flowing again a.s.a.p. We know what the issue is.” Filed a 311 request for service with COH with material Jarod provided me and they are going to get going to put the repairs on their schedule. The “Drain Detective” definitely has a Doctor of Pipeology….

We had a small PVC pipe off our water bib break in the freeze. The repair cost $477. The service was fine, but you may want to consider a less expensive business for simple repairs.

Had debris clogging up my main water line. Jarrod worked to clear it so it could give me some time to figure out what to do in the long term since my HOA or city might be involved. Very professional, walking me through every step. Highly recommend them!

Had to have gas valve updated for the gas dryer. Took 30 minutes, cost $345! Guys did a good job, but, I thought was a little pricey, but had no choice. When they got you, they got you!

Ethan Coker with Nick's troubleshooted and ultimately replaced a tankless hotwater heater in my home today.I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Ethan. He took the time to explain the problem and all of the repair options and was not pushy in anyway whatsoever. Ethan was on time, clean, polite, and finished the job quicker than initially communicated. I could also tell that he as passionate about his work and this showed in how he treated us and his work.While fixing the hot waterheater he accidently stepped on a junction box in the attic which took out a circuit in my home. Ethan took ownership, and scheduled an electrician to come out and fix the problem (at Nick's expense). Its never fun to pay for home repairs, but having a guy like Ethan to deal with sure does soften the blow.Also Nick's billing and scheduling and work order system is really good. Super easy - has all previous service call info, stores photos, notes, etc.

I had piping moved about a foot over so I could widen a window. The quote was higher than I thought, but I needed the work done so I could begin the wall widening. I spoke with John at Nick’s after the work was completed and he recalculated the bid and agreed it was bid too high. He lowered the cost. I appreciate his honesty and would definitely call Nick’s again.

Technician was on time and very professional. He walked me through all the issues with photos and video and presented several options for repair.

John and Armando listened to the leak scenario and by process of elimination figured out the leak source, then successfully fixed it the least expensive way, explaining all possible risks and choices along the way. Very pleasant and knowledgeable!

Ethan and Ricardo showed up on Tuesday for a quote and thoroughly explained what would have to be done to get a gas line for a gas stove to be installed. I was notified they could do it on Wednesday morning. They showed up on time both days and were very professional, clean, knowledgeable, and courteous. I am so thankful we called Nick's Plumbing last week. We were able to get someone out within 2 days to look at an old water heater, and Ethan Coker with his partner, tried to repair it, with no luck. So then we were able to get a new water heater & within 2 days Ethan came back out to install it. They went over & above the call of duty. Two weeks before they had to install a new faucet for a vessel sink & we were thankful for that. They were very nice & cleaned up afterwards. We would not hesitate to call them again for our plumbing repair needs.

If you’re fortunate enough to get Joe to come check out your house, you’ll be blessed by his experience, perspective, and commitment to meeting your needs.He diagnosed an issue we spotted through some wet dry wall then proceeded to fix the wax seal on our toilet all in one trip.Joe had an apprentice with him indicating he was a committed teacher as well. Solid experience for us and another reason to go back to Nick’s when we need to.

They tech who showed up isn't helpful at all in explaining what's the solution for the issue we are having. We did the most of the talking to query information from him. He just took pictures and sent us the quotes. High price quoted for a small job and we will have to shop around for better price now. Trip charge in our context is waste of money with out finding any solution.

The service tech arrived in a timely manner. He checked out all the options to fix my problem with a fare price. I would definitely use this company again.

Outstanding installation from the technicians. Removed a 45yr. old sink and installed new one along with faucet and disposal. Also, replaced the old water valves. Very satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Nick's Plumbing was able to get a technician out the same day and diagnosed out A/C issues quickly. The technician was very knowledgeable and happy to explain the issues he saw and why we were having problems. We signed up for the VIP membership and are very happy with the A/C team!

We had water seeping up from our carpet in the master bedroom and had no idea of where it could be coming from. They sent someone the same day and was able to quickly identify the source. Joe was very knowledgeable and was considerate of doing work that was only necessary. Highly recommend !

We called Nicks Plumbing for two back ups- one in the kitchen sink and other in bedroom bathroom. The quote was completely unreasonable! $350 for EACH sink PLUS $170 AND $150 to remove the ptraps to snake. The ptraps under our sink are easily removed. It takes me less than five minutes!! Do the math for two sinks that only required snaking. I’m giving them two stars because they did not charge me service charge for coming out to over quote me. I had another service come out and do both sinks for $270 TOTAL.

I had two other HVAC companies come prior to Nick's and one quoted me an $8000 service invoice- stating that there were several things that needed to be replaced including my new blower wheel- which would be $2000 to replace. The other HVAC company quoted me $3000 and both were either not honest or couldnt find the real issue to my AC problem. When Nick's came Alex was able to to find the real issue which was FAR FROM an $8000 or even $3000 charge. I will be referring all my friends and family to Nicks. Thank you for your professionalism, your honesty, and knowledge. I THANK you so much for getting to the root cause. I have no more issues. Nick's is the BEST.

In preparation of Horrendous Harvey I contacted the owner Richard Saad explaining my situation. The next day he sent Leo out to examine the possibilities. He was back within the hour and installed a high end pump into my main drain. Leo was knowledgeable, professional and even empathetic. The owner cares about you, your problems and issues and will bend over backwards to help you out. No need to go anywhere for your Plumbing needs... but Nicks Plumbing.

Quoted me $14K for a special order A/C unit. Technician told me the price would go higher if I didn't take the quote within a month. Got it done 8 months later by another company for less than half that price. What a markup!

I used Nicks Plumbing for AC repair (capacitor and hard start kit replacement). They charged me way more than the going rate for these repairs. I confirmed with my home warranty company that Nicks overcharged me by almost 400%. When I called the office and asked for a breakdown of the cost by parts, labor, diagnostics, etc. They claimed they were unable to provide that to me. Work was fine but I would recommend another provider for reasonable prices.

We had an unexplained slow dripping leak. Ethan Coker was our technician and he was thorough in his troubleshooting and eliminating possible sources of the problem before having to put a hole in the sheetrock to discover the problem. Once that was done he was able to efficiently and without a lot of mess drain the ceiling of BUCKETS of water before repairing a copper pipe. He was very professional answering a slew of questions without frustration, he performed the repair with care, and he cleaned up (YAY!!!) after he was done. They came quickly at the end of the day even though we didn't know it was actually an emergency. Overall a great experience.

Great service, completed the repair at the quoted estimate. The estimate I was given was as much as half what Abacus and ARS quoted me, and saved me thousands of dollars. The supervisors who came out and did the estimate didn't pressure me, didn't upsell me, didn't give the standard we'll have to tunnel a minimum of 5-feet under your house. I was told by Nick's the break in my drain/clean-out was no more than a few inches under the house. When I asked one of the other company's reps what if the break isn't 5 + feet under the house? How would that affect the price of the repair, one told me it definitely was at least 5-feet under the house and the repair could only get more expensive, not less. But, just as the guys from Nick's predicted, the break was actually 8 to 10 inches under the house. Highly recommended!

Slow drain in kitchen sink at my Mom’s house. They used snake and couldn’t determine the cause. Tech put pipes back together and didn’t test. Next thing I know, I had water coming from under the sink! Called to tell them, I had pipe leak and they CHARGED ME TO FIX THEIR DAMAGE! Honestly, would you do this to your mother? WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!

I hired Nick's Plumbing services to fix a water heater that wasn't running and I must say they had a very good technician team to come out. Ethan was the technician that came out as scheduled, looked at the machine and immediately took action to look for the issue. I'm a big DIY so when he described the problem and his recommendation, I believed it was something I could do myself (which I fixed successfully). He took down all the necessary information of the heater and even contacted their support team to confirm what he believed the issue was and then proceeded to describe any further possible issues if the first solution was no resolved. This was the first company I called based off the reviews and I'm glad I did because they were reasonably priced and very knowledgable. Thank you!

I've just had to call them out to give a second opinion on the work of a company that our A/C insurance required us to use.The difference between the two companies is night and day. Josh spent 30 minutes inspecting everything, then another 5 minutes explaining it all and our options and what we should do, even if they don't end up doing the work. The other company took a quick look and suggested replacing the entire system. I wish we'd pushed our insurance company to allow us to use Nick's in the first place.Nick's Plumbing sends info about your repair person, including photo and bio, so you know that you're letting the right person into your home (really nice safely feature). They take the time to truly explain the situation and give honest options, regardless of their profits. John and Jose made the project a success. I had several backups in my first floor, and after searching through several companies, I'm confident that Nick's has got to be the best by a good bit. A+ customer service - they went above and beyond to deliver for my family. Far and away the best warranty term. Everybody else was 1 year , roto-rooter was 5, but Nick's is 10 YEARS!!! Talk about standing behind your work! With such an extensive repair, I was shocked that most companies' warranties weren't better, but Nick's wins!!! Great pricing too!

Don element above and beyond today to provide an amazing service. He had a very challenging job of making a rusted out pipe/connection for a washer that refused to open. He literally used every tool in his tool box and with persistence he was able to get it to work.Great customer service from Don and he was really a true professor.

I highly recommend Nick’s plumbing as they warrantied a part and labor on my water heater even though the manufacturer would not. Nicks installed a water heater for me along with trooping my entire house a couple of years ago. I called them as my water heaters gas controller went out. The manufacturer of the water heater denied the warranty work and part but Nick’s fixed it a no cost anyway. I highly recommend them as John is an customer focused operation director.

This is being written May 6, 2021:After the repairs from the freeze, I was happy until I tried to access my backyard faucet to water my plants.I discovered that the valve wheel had been removed, and the faucet was useless. I called and explained, but they could only set an appointment a couple of weeks away.No one ever showed up, the day of the appointment, and no one called to explain. I went to Ace to purchase a new valve wheel, but it was explained to me that the entire faucet would need replacing, as the age of the faucet meant no replacement valve wheel would work.I told another Nick’s employee whom was at the house for air conditioning issues, and he said it was not his area. I asked him if he would communicate with the plumbing people for me, and he declined.I now hate Nick’s Plumbing.They sent a guy whom ripped me off for over $7000, and then they took away my ability to access water in my back yard.BEWARE!!!————————————

Water heater would not light. Adam Coker came out and found the problem in 5 minutes. Previous company ( Village Plumbing ) came an hour before them and said I needed to replace the entire unit. Honing with Nick’s from now on!!!

Miguel Salazar was our technician, and he did a great job diagnosing our HVAC problem. We had gotten shoddy work done by a different contractor who previously installed a unit for us before the summer, and had issues with that for months. But Miguel was able to immediately identify several problems and how to resolve each of them. He also was great with following up, and was incredibly patient answering all my questions and concerns. So far so good, and we’ve had no issues since. Highly recommend!

They replaced a PVC pipe with a copper on a point of pressure where the previous one broke. But the simply shifted the problem 3 inches down. I complained to the plumber, and he acknowledged that was a problem. But he said that “for now” it would be fine. Now I will have to fix it properly.On top of that they did not show up on time during the scheduled 2-hour window. I had to call them. They gave me another window later and they still did not make it. To make matters worse I had to run a quick errand during a time I was not available and, before I could get back ,they called me and said they had to leave for an emergency call.Extremely bad service. When I complained, the manager said they “completed” the job.

I had tree roots grow into my downstairs toilet sewer line. I checked several companies and the price range estimates for the same job was unbelievable. I went with Nick's Plumbling for the repair job and very glad I did. Very professional company with a reasonable price. Leo was GREAT!!! Two plumbers had been to my home w/o resolve before him. My toilet was backing up into my bathtub. Leo came out and found the clean out that the other two couldn’t find. He flushed it out and told me the issue of roots that needed to be removed. He was going to come another day but came same day instead. I was charged less than quoted over the phone. And he was very kind patient and knowledgeable. Please go with Nicks Plumbing they are the Best!!!

Gilbert and his apprentice were great. They answered all my questions and explained the repair as they replaced the copper tube. It was also very affordable. They charged $80 for replacing the entire copper pipe while another shadier company that had come out just before them wanted to charge $480 to only replace a section of the copper pipe! So glad we called Nick’s!

I am beyond words how impressed I am with Nick’s Plumbing. My technicians, Leo and Sergio, arrived on time and even sent a text notifying me they were on their way. The text gave a well-written bio that not only included Leo’s professional background and experience but also provided details about Leo’s family and his personality. I liked Leo before I even met him.My home was built in 1957, so my plumbing issue was a bit complicated. It took the outstanding customer service of Nick’s Operations Manager, John, who spent almost 30 minutes with me by phone patiently listening and asking technical questions to help him analyze why the work of a previous plumber wasn’t able to resolve my issue. It was John’s patience and Leo’s expertise and determination that finally resolved my more complex plumbing problem. Leo and Sergio were professional and informative. Their work was neat and tidy; they even wore shoe coverings to protect my floors. I will never call any other plumbing company other than Nick’s for future service calls. Absolutely outstanding!

I paid $280.00 for a plumber visit for 10 minutes, where he just wrote an estimate off what an inspector said on my inspection report. No diagnostic test or anything.

I placed a call to two different companies. When I called them they didn’t answer the phone but I went to the website. I was able to easily make an appointment online. Someone called me the next day to confirm and although they were not on time, they kept me informed about when they would be arriving. The guys got there and they were very professional and neat. They gave me a quote and showed me everything they were going to do. They didn’t have a part and let me know that they would come back first thing the next morning. We had a small leak and was identified about three foot from the city meter by the city authority. We already digged and guess it may be come from under the slab or a little bit farther about one foot. The technician of Nick’s came to make an estimate, he didn’t even want to find out where the water come out even we showed him, he just suggested us to replace the whole pipe to the house, it will be cheaper if fixing by foot, and he asked “Where we wanted to fix?” And gave us the estimate for five foot from the slab towards my house and/ or under the slab. We asked if this part is not the problem and leaking come from farther? He said he didn’t know. So we asked did he come here to find out where the leak, diagnosis and gave us the estimate? or just take the service charge of $49.00. We waited for him whole day to hear that he didn’t know where to fix and just gave the estimate for wherever I guess leaking and take my paycheck. This is ridiculous and unprofessional!!!NVuong

Tried to get them to come out for an urgent water heater issue. They insisted they would come the first day, asked to come tomorrow. same thing happened again the next day. Wouldn’t use them because they don’t do what they say they are going to do.

Our service technician was awesome! He was patient with us as we asked a ton of questions and a ton more when it came to what options were available for us. We felt like he was honest and cared about our situation. The work took several days and as each day went by and we had new questions , Jarrod Johnson explained to us what the plan was and what to expect. Nothing was a mystery, Jarrod made sure we understood what was to take place every day. He showed up everyday with a great attitude and a willingness to help. We were very satisfied with the plumbing work and the patience our technician Jarrod displayed. His knowledge and experienced reflects greatly on Nick’s plumbing service. My service technician was excellent. Mr. Salazar was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained what he was going to do. All possible actions and the cost.

The first appointment was scheduled for Friday 4-6, technician was caught up, was told we would be the first appointment the following day between 8-10. 9 rolls around, nothing. Call them, their technician is at another job should be there before 10. Unfortunately he didn't show up until almost 11, but it was a waste of time. We had 3 quotes to replace a section of cast iron with PVC, quotes were 1700, 2600 and Nick's which was 3175. We really need to replace additional pipe as well. We had one company quote for 2400 to replace it all, and Nick's quote was 5474. We didn't end up going with Nick's since they were 3000 over with all the additional work that needs to be done. Least responsive and most expensive.

I contacted Nick’s for a plumbing issue and they stated they would be there a specific time within a 2 hour interval. Imagine my surprise, when they noted someone would be there over 2 hours earlier as I sat in the dentist chair. I wanted the issue resolved, which they were aware of, and I scurried around to get someone to meet them. It was obvious that the technician was in a rush to not complete the job but collect the trip charge and leave. Since he came out in 4 minutes and indicated that the trip charge would not be put toward the quote which was stated when I called - utterly shameful behavior. 1 star should not be applied for this level of service. It must be nice to take the money for 4 minutes work.

Had Jerry (the Drain Detective) come out. He was very upstanding, great at diagnosing the issue we were having with our dishwasher and didn't try to upsell anything. Truly. a pleasure to work with him and will be requesting him for all of our plumbing issues.

Luis camacho was extremely professional and a very honest person. He was very patient in explaining the process and made everything very easy for us. I would recommend him always.

Edit 2: The second service that came out was phenomenal. it was night and day between the two crews. The second guy who came out was definitely a 5/5. I give the office credit for trying their best to fix everything but the service I got on the first call was entirely opposite and worthy of 1/5, which is why I cant give them higher than a 4/5. If the company gets more consistent, they are definitely 5/5 material.Edit: A manager reached out to me and said they mischarged me, they gave me the price for a home in the selling process and not the homeowner expense (the 279 vs 49). they refunded my purchase and are offering a new service appointment for free. The Customer service seems great but need to see if the plumbing service is as well.Scheduled over the phone to have them come out for a general house plumbing inspection and they said it is $49 for them to come. 10 mins before the appointment they call to ask me again what they are coming out for, i told them, they said its now $279. i said fine whatever just come since its already the appointment time. They came, walked around for 10 mins just turning on and off facuets then said thatll be $279.Ridiculously overpriced for bare minimum work.

Recommend Nicks plumbing service! Called and had someone out the same day. Moises and helper came by and we’re able to install a new water heater in a short time. Moises was very professional, and explained pricing options with me before proceeding. My water heater had a ton of large sediment during the draining process, but the guys weren’t phased at all. Definitely give them a call.

I am very happy with the service I received from Nick's Plumbing and Air Conditioning. I had a leak in my shower and called late in the afternoon. They were able to come out the next morning and arrived at the indicated time. Prior to arriving, I received a text with a picture of Willie, the technician and some personal information about him. I really thought that was a nice touch! When he arrived, he quickly determined the problem and was straightforward about the issue and the cost. Willie, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the plumbing issue. He was efficient and finished in no time, and I am pleased with the result. After he left, my brother said, wow! What a nice guy! I will definitely use Nick's again for any plumbing needs.

I called the service tech to see why downstairs AC was not cooling properly. Tech came and told me my morot went bad and need to be replaced along with circuit board. At the time I was out of town. Wife and kids were at home; without AC, it was tough. So I asked him for estimate and he told be $5300 just to replace the motor and the circuit board. Asked him to see if he can provide any other options; he gave me no options and told me I had to replaced the motor. Questioned why it will be $5300; teach (Chris) said because it is ECM motor and had to get it from Trane and there is only one available which he could get if I agree. So, out of desperation I agreed and paid the money. Later found out he actually could have given me the option to replace the unit which I would have gone for since I would have gotten brand new system with at-least 10 years warranty. Later I tried to talk to their office to express my bad experience; office did not do anything or contact me. So, I will advise everyone to be very careful doing business with this company. I find them unethical and a ripoff company.

Plumbing - they misquoted me over the phone and did not honor the quote when they arrived on site, so they wanted to charge twice the amount they quoted. Fortunately this was before any work had been done so we cancelled the appointment.A/C - 4 hours late for their appointment so we had to cancel. They let us know they would be about 2 hours late, but they still didn't show up 2 hours after that.All in all, glad I didn't have to pay them any money but what a waste of a morning!

Several months ago, my contractor recommended Nick’s Plumbing Co. to repair a broken water line in my back yard. It was a matter of digging, taking out the broken part, replacing the new part, and replacing the dirt. For obvious reasons, I needed to get this done without delay. The salesman told me that this job would normally cost $19,000, but for me, he would charge only $14,000. I can’t believe I fell for that line!! But, because I was desperate, I foolishly did. When my contractor found that out, he was furious! He said that job should have cost approximately $4000. In fact, he checked with 3 different plumbing contractors, and they all agreed with him about his estimate.That $14,000 was very difficult for me to pay, especially with the knowledge that I wouldn’t have had to pay that if I had just gotten some other estimates.The work that Nick’s Plumbing did was fine. There are no complaints about that. My distress was because of the excessive charges.So, unless you have a lot of extra money and don’t mind falling for an insulting line, be sure to get additional estimates before signing on with this company.

The team from Nick's Plumbing was very professional, and they got our leak fix extremely quickly. They were also very transparent about their pricing before getting started with the work, and they ended up having to do less work than they had originally thought, and they charged me less than the estimate. I did feel like the price was more expensive than it might have been with another plumber, but I am very happy with the work they did.

Nick's provided experienced and fast service for our a/c system in the attic that was leaking. We noticed water damage on the ceiling of a bedroom, called and they arrived within an hour! Thanks Miguel and your wonderful second hand! We appreciate it!

The service that we received was done in fast timing, our Technician Zach had awesome customer service and was very professional. They were always prompt and gave courtesy text/emails before each Techs arrival time. As far as the job they did exactly what they came to do and didn’t leave bit incomplete. After I left a review, Nick’s operations contacted me with the signed invoice which states the fee would be applied if I received services in 30 days( as agreed) but doesn’t state that it remains a fee which is not what I was told at the time of signing. There is no accountability on the company to remedy what they have from a rep on the recorded call telling me a fee and the person who processed my payment at my house telling me I would get the fee back if I decided not to pursue services, this was just a refundable deposit and to call back. No services were done since the house is a new construction so I called back as the rep said and no one at Nick’s want to acknowledge what the rep told me or take responsibility for his words and actions. This is extremely irresponsible as a company and I will let everyone in the real estate industry I work with know that Nick’s offers poor service and no accountability.

The service & technician were great. But the charged was so expensive!!! For a 30 minute compressor AC fan change , he was gonna charge us over $1,000.00!! So we asked for any kind of discount. A senior discount got it to $980.00. So unbelievable. We will not recommend this company bec of price gauging.

Leo was absolutely the nicest guy. They arrived on time, with masks and booties on. Listened carefully and explained everything clearly. They were the 4th plumber we had out after an initial estimate that literally made me cry. We were told we needed all new pipes at a cost of as much as $50,000. Leo checked it out and told us that was not needed. He didn't try to up sell us, just told us the truth and then took care of us just over $1,000. They cleaned up after themselves and even reinstalled the toilet that my husband removed trying to resolve the issue. They are our plumbers for life.❤️

Luis did an excellent job. He was professional, respectful and arrived ready to evaluate my leaking situation. He was thorough in assessing the situation. He described the problem clearly and explained the options.He did not have the proper equipment at the time but returned the next day and completed the job. I have not had any problems with the tub facet leaking since.I plan to call Nick's Pluming again for another situation in my kitchen. I believe they were honest and fairly priced for the work done.

These guys went to much more trouble than they had to registering the warranty that remained under my name - since I bought the house when the hot water heater was brand new and had already been installed. Everything they quoted up front came true. Their resources and timing are impeccable.

John Rodriguez and his teammate did a great job. Not only did they show up early, they were incredibly friendly and educational. My waterheater decided to die and after several failed attempts of relighting it, I called the professionals. Of course, John relit it in less than 5 minutes....sigh..... This place is terrible. My wife was given a 2 hour window from 11am to 1pm today and the technician never showed up. My wife then called the company to ask when the technician would arrive because she had to leave and they didn't even apologize. They just told her where the technician was and how long it would take him to get there. She canceled and they still never apologized and just told her to give them a call if we needed to reschedule or any other services. Why? Why would we ever give them another shot after this? Terrible...

Nick’s plumbing was the second company I contacted to have someone come service what I thought was a leak. Turned out I had a clogged pipe and I was eager to have the problem resolved as soon as possible. The two man team were quick to respond and professional, however, had I taken my time and done some research, I would’ve paid less than half the price I was charged.

We hired Nick’s Plumbing to come do a quick tune up and service of our HVAC system and they did a great job! Marcus was on time and very friendly, and answered any questions I had about how to maintain our own system. Would recommend.

Bumped the car into side of house and burst a water pipe. Water was spraying everywhere. Called Nicks and another excellent technician, William Blankenship, came out quickly. He fixed our problem efficiently. An outstanding job and happy ending. Nicks always provides happy endings.

Used for gas line repair. It was easy to schedule and I liked their day of communications regarding who/when someone would be arriving. The servicemen were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The pricing is all done from a catalog of sorts, which makes things easy to price out, but the prices are definitely higher than some other outfits; must be the extra support staff (which did made the experience pleasant) and the technical support (invoicing and payments all done digitally at time of service). I would definitely use again, though not for every plumbing problem due to the cost. The reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is that I had to ask about 3 times to have the gas connection to my oven tested for a leak before it was done (I’m still not confident this was done) and the higher cost than other service options.

Nick's always does good work and is one of the better (if not best) plumbers in Houston. They can be somewhat expensive but the work they do is definitely top notch. If you want a Plumber who will do things right the first time be sure to call Nick's! Thanks for great service!

We are very happy with the service received so far with Nick’s Plumbing after the recent freeze in Houston. We called two days after the freeze, and secured an appointment for about two weeks later. They kept the appointment as scheduled, Gilbert was very efficient, honest, friendly and knowledgeable and repaired the broken pipe the next day at a fair price. We have another home scheduled for repair in the next week or two. Hopefully, that experience will also earn five stars.

We called this company last week to schedule an install of a home water softener and filter. The gentleman who made my appointment told me a ballpark price of $725 after I explained to him what kind of system and where it would be connected. On Friday, they cancelled my appointment because they fell behind on their appointments. I rescheduled for the following Monday. On Monday, the technician came to our home and was there for less than a minute before he told us that the price had doubled to $1500. We were shocked. This water system come with a do-it-yourself Install kit and tutorial video. It is made so that the average homeowner can easily install it so imagine our shock to find that this plumber thought the job was worth $1500. This was actually the second plumber who had given us an install quote. The first plumber’s quote was also $700 so I know this company was clearly trying to scam me. I called to speak to a supervisor who told me he would call the technician and figure out why the quote had changed so much and then call me back to discuss. I waited almost 2 hours for that call back and never received one. Do yourself a favor and find a more honest company to do your plumbing work.

Great experience with Nick’s Plumbing. I am very pleased the service and attention resolving my plumbing issue. I called Nick’s Plumbing on a Friday around 4:00PM with a stopped-up sewage line. The call setting up the appointment was hassle-free and courteous. They made me a stand-by appointment which was understandable but someone was still at the house within an hour. I appreciated receiving a text message alerting me of the service technician including a photograph of who would be arriving at my door! The technicians were professional, diagnosed my problem, and resolved my issue quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I couldn’t be happier. 5 stars.

Plumber re-jammed a disposal in my kitchen sink. Apparently there is a button or something like that on the button of the disposal thingy. He just pressed that and it was done. He took $161.74Absolutely ridiculous and outrageous price.I will never call this place again. It feels like I was robbed.

I was having heating issues for a few weeks after having some maintenance performed by another company. In a perfect world, I would call the company that originally provided the service back out, but I decided to have a different set of eyes review what had been done. I scheduled an appointment with Nick’s. This is not my first time using Nick’s, but this is the first time using the HVAC services. My experiences with the plumbing services has been excellent, so I felt comfortable with this decision. I was able to learn from my tech that the services which were performed previously were not of the highest quality. He identified multiple areas of concern, and he fixed the immediate issue. I will definitely consider Nick’s for my future concerns.

People told me Nick’s ripped me off. They charged me $1,200 to replace my washing machine outlet box. The parts cost total $50 and the plumber was at my place working for a total of 4 hours. The rest of the time he was away “getting parts”. $1,200 to cut a hole in the wall that they did not fix, cut out the old box, and connect two water lines. I’m embarrassed I paid so much. I feel certain I paid this guy $600 for his 3 hour lunch break.

Gilbert was phenomenal. He found the source of my leak quickly, showed me what was happening through the inspection hole he cut, and suggested a cost-effective way to fix it. Furthermore, he was very friendly towards my nosy cats!

Excellent service. They gave an estimate up front, and did not charge extra for their time when we added on a valve replacement and they had to go purchase replacement trim. Very professional.

Great service. Had issues with a funky smelling bathroom. It turned out to be funky smelling because we rarely used it. The tech was friendly and gave me some tips on how to keep things running smoothly.

A/C Warranty work completed. They don't provide details on the cost of the services they provide, so it's not feasible to compare with other company estimates. Non responsive to emails, so I am going elsewhere for a service contract.

Nick’s Plumbing was great! I got an appointment scheduled very quickly. My technician Joe was very kind and helpful, even gave me tips on how to prevent my issue from happening again. If I need plumbing services in the future I will certainly use Nick’s again.

Our water heater stopped working thus I requested the same day appointment with Nick’s. They came on time, and come with two person. They only stay ~10mins and decide the fire is off thus they turn on the fire and recommend us to do a replacement . However it costs us 150$ Just to ignite the fire without any possible diagnosis! And they even don’t care to put our heater’s insulation back and left it widely open! I will not recommend Nicks.

Received a call from Nick's Plumbing asking if I would be available for an earlier time. Joe arrived within 30 minutes of the confirmation call. He was very professional, quick, neat and answered all of my questions. The cost was really reasonable. If needed I would definitely contact them again.

I called and set up a visit to my residence which they gave me a 8-10 am window. It wasn’t until 9:53am that I decided to call and check up on when they would arrive. I was told the technician wouldn’t arrive until 10:30. I inquired why I wasn’t given a phone call to explain that they were running late, the receptionist stated that she was about to call. I waited until 10:34am still no technician nor a phone call. So I called back and cancelled. I explained if you gave me or another customer a two hour window you can’t expect me to cancel plans that I have in the afternoon.Nick’s Plumbing has a 96% customer satisfaction rating maybe I caught them on a bad day. I would not recommend them based on their lack of professionalism.

A call was placed in the AM for a plumber to repair a leak & someone came out before noon. We were given a quote and how long it would take to complete the job. We made a decision on site & work was done professionally in a short amount of time. We have used Nick before and will continue to use their services because they are professional, completes the job timely and does not try to sell other services or products while on the job. I highly recommend Nick if you want professionalism, honesty & the job done right the first time.

I have spent approximately $3,000 with Nick's in the last several years on plumbing services, and they are the last plumbers that have done any work at our home. So today I called them because we got back in to town after the week long freeze and we had no water at all., and they told me they do not have any appointments until March 18. We have no water at our home and the pipes are not broken. We had no water prior to the freeze, but we were going out of town and had no time to report this issue, nor have it repaired. I need someone to tell me what the problem is. It has to be something simple. I guess spending over $3,000 in the last several years with Nick's Plumbing does not make you a good customer. I will not be calling them again, and I will ask them to refrain from sending me all of their advertising emails as their service does not mean anything. I was not that pleased with the hot water heater repair either. It took multiple trips to get everything done. .

This is my third time calling Nick's plumbing in as many years. I was very happy with Gilbert and his work replacing my toilet and repairing my sink. I doubt Nicks is the cheapest plumber in town, but they have excellent communication, transparent pricing, and professional service that I appreciate. It's worth my money and I will use them again in the future.

Had an amazing experience with the Nick's Plumbing crew. They evaluated the problem, gave us options, pricing was reasonable, finished ahead of schedule and put everything back as it needed to be. These people have been incredible. They replaced my water heater AND my AC. They respond promptly and they do their work competently. Potentially the only review I’ve ever left so take it for what it’s worth.EDIT: since this review they came out and told me I needed a very expensive coil replaced. I had 2 other HVAC companies come out and neither saw a leaking evaporator coil. I highly recommend Alief Ultra Mechanical. They are now my go to for honest work.

Today, service was provided by mainly William Blankenship and also a gentleman named Jorge. They replaced my water heater as it had reached end-of-life and caused my electric bill to skyrocket. William exceeded my expectations as he agreed to be on a conference call with my warranty company in order to ensure I was able to file a claim to be reimbursed for at least some of the costs associated with having a new water heater installed.

Luis with Nick's Plumbing was great. I already knew I needed a hot water tank because mine was 18+ years when it failed. Nick arrived and assessed the situation and let me know that to bring everything associated with the hit water heater up to code that the cost would be about double just a simple replacement. Although not thrilled I wanted the job done correctly and not have code violations should I sell the house down the road. Anyhow Luis was very efficient with facilitating upgrades to meet code and installation of the hot water heater. This was extremely important to me because I run a business out of my home with clients coming by and until Luis was done I had no running water. The finished job looked professionally done and Luis was professional throughout the process. Adam did a great job! My shower diverter was not working properly and I have an odd-sized tub. Adam assessed and ordered the part. Today he came back and replaced it all. I thought I would have to replace everything and he was able to just install a new diverter. I am a regular client of Nick's for both plumbing and AC. Great service and reasonable prices.

The HVAC team at nicks plumbing did a great job. They were prompt to come out on the first cold day of the year when my heater went out, courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed correctly.

William was fine. He replaced the two faucets for the hot and cold water connections to the washing machine. He had to exert intense pressure to break some of the connections loose. Did it well and carefully. He also was able to adjust the drain in guest bathroom that has been a challenge since installation. So i rate work work quality high and William's cooperation high as well.The two stars is strictly due to the price that we felt was exorbitant. Nearly $350 was above and beyond what we felt reasonable, but we needed the work done. I doubt if we will use Nick's again based on this experience. So sorry.

We had a pipe burst at midnight on Tuesday during our winter storm. Miraculously, Nick's Plumbing was able to send something out the next day. They reviewed the situation, gave us an estimate, and repaired the broken pipe. They were very professional and even showed us the broken pipe and explained things to us. I highly recommend them. The specific person that we dealt with was named Eric, and he was excellent to work with. We would definitely use them again.

I contacted Nick's for estimates on repairing a nonfunctional shower and to install two new toilets. From the first phone call to the final repair/installation, the process was a positive experience. Leo and Sergio were prompt, professional and treated me as if I were a longstanding client even though this was my first dealing with Nick's. During the first visit to assess the job, they explained everything to me and I had an estimate of the cost that same day. They took the time needed to do the job right while taking into consideration any inconvenience their work might cause me. My technician at Nick’s Plumbing was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the repair process. I really appreciate the level of service I received. The Technician was very professional and knowledgeable about the repairs that he was there to perform the previous Technician with another company came out to install garbage disposal had to Google how to install it nevertheless this company/Technician called me 30 minutes before arrival to let me know that he was on his way the company sent me a email reminder of the appointment. The tech replaced the faucet with a new faucet system made all the necessary adjustments to make it flow with current systems took the time to bundle hoses and cords tied them off and hauled away the trash from the visit. We were pleased with Nick's Plumbing I would recommend to anyone I would like to add that we have a home warranty company and Nick's Plumbing in my opinion blew them out of the water, Super, Great Technician *************

I just had them install a gas line and hang gas lanterns outside of my home. They did a FANTASTIC Job!! They look amazing. Mike and Corey really took their time to install it right and cared about the way they look. Not only that but they explained the safety measures they too, they also gave me a very fair price. While other companies wanted to charge me tens of thousands of dollars and also remove bricks from my home! Mike and Corey explained how they could do it without tearing up my house! We're very happy with the problem solving Nick's provided. Gilbert, our technician, worked quickly and efficiently and observed the current Covid safety precautions. He was personable and knowledgeable and promptly repaired/replaced our faucet and disposer. The cost for the work was reasonable, and we definitely will use Nick's Plumbing again.

We've had a small leak in our bath and the technician did a diagnostic detail test to see what was causing the leak. He figured out it wasn't a plumbing issue at all as he showed me the shower needed to be recaulk ed which will save us money. Very honest company and have used them and will continue to use them in the future.

Most recently, two of their plumbers brought our gas infrastructure in line with city requirements. Despite a busy schedule, they responded quickly. The job took only half a day, was surprisingly economical, and accomplished exactly what was needed. The men were professional, competent, friendly and informative. It's good to have a service you can rely on.

Miguel was super nice & very professional. He arrived a tad early, face mask & all. He fixed my clogged sink, and he found a leak that another plumber couldn’t find & repaired it. The price for his work was very reasonable. I recommend Nicks & would use them again.

I had the guys from Nick's plumbing re-pipe my entire house. I was not too excited about it but the guys assured me they could do it and sure enough they did with 0 problems. The work was done in a timely manner and my experience was handled professionally. I used them again for some minor work on my drain line and my experience was the same. I would recommend them to anyone with a problem. My opinion, we tend to take our plumbing for granted. So when things don't work we get frantic and then write a review apparently. Also, low quotes rarely stay low. My quote from Nick's was real with no hidden cost. I appreciate that approach personally.

Extremely professional and reasonably priced service. From the first visit, I was impressed with this company. Before a plumber even arrived, I received a text with a picture of the person coming to make repairs as well as his background experience. They made me feel well taken care of every step of the way. If you need yard work done, they are very careful when digging and they place grass sections to the side for repositioning after pipe work is finished. I highly recommend their service.

Excellent service!!! I was thankful they were open when so much of the city was shutting down. It was easy to book and they arrived at my house within hours to diagnose the problem. David and George did the work and they were a dream team: on time, professional, hard-working, efficient, and honest. Had my appointment scheduled from 10 am - 12 pm. They didn't arrive until 1230 pm. Though Josue and his partner was really friendly and super knowledgeable, once they found the leak and determined what had caused it really assured me that they knew what they were doing. Also they were able to see that the my water heater needed was really damaged and needed replacing too. Overall whenever I do need help with any plumbing issues again I will definitely be calling Nick's plumbing and requesting these two again!

I called at 10:30 and told the lady your add says you call we come she said expect us between 1 and 3. Our new best friend and plumber finished 3 jobs the Handyman had started plus replaced the hot water heater.

Absolutely! Wonderful! I’m not kidding. I’m going to tell everyone who asks for a plumber that this is the company they want. I called in the morning and received same-day service. On the phone, service was top-notch professional and on the ground with our plumber Eugene the service was equally excellent. I also loved how I received a call with an ETA and a follow-up text with the same information, including the name and photo of the plumber to ensure my family’s safety. The work was excellent and timely. The pricing was good, too. Nick’s is now our go-to plumbing company. Highly commendable and recommended.

Timely, polite, and tidy! Our shower was badly constructed originally and the faucet was inaccessible behind the tile. Eric was prepared and able to cut the tile out (pretty neatly!) to install the new part and get everything back together.

Leo did great job getting our sewer pipe unclogged where it connects to the city. He and his teammate got it flowing well enough so that he could show me on his camera exactly what was going on down hole and to talk over options. We decided to have the line jet cleaned to remediate the 6 foot plus long compacted grease plug--all done during the one service visit.

I called Nick’s Plumbing to complete a natural gas line replace and repair job after being frustrated with the incompetence of the supposed “expert” plumbers in West University Place. Nick’s employees were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They finished a job in a day that the prior company could not complete in a week and at a much lower cost. Many thanks!

Requested an estimate almost a week ago. They came to the house to measure. Paid for the estimate. I’ve called 4 times. Still no estimate. Unresponsive. Don’t pay for your estimate until they send you the estimate.

Absolutely the best plumbing experience I’ve had. I was called back, scheduled right away, and I received a text with a picture to let me know who I could expect to see at my door within the next 20 minutes. David arrived on time, answered all of my questions, and investigated the issue until it was 100% resolved. He made me feel comfortable and confident that we had finally gotten to the root cause of the issue. This company far exceeded my expectations in every way.

We have installed two tankless water heaters this year using Nick’s Plumbing & Sewer Services. They are a very professional company with trained and knowledgeable technicians. The whole process from the time we contacted them initially to receiving the invoice and setting the final payment was so efficient and such a refreshing change! I would recommend them any day. Every time I have had to call for an issue they have come quickly. They are very professional and kind. I really like the way I get an estimate and updates if anything changes with the work, and the pictures to prove it and show the improvement when finished. The 90 day warranty is great as well. As previously, Josh gave me a courtesy call with a half hour notice. He and Devon arrived promptly as scheduled. They had shoe covers and went to work diagnosing and correcting the problem right away. They are awesome! Both were professional, polite and very efficient. We are so glad that Nick’s will let us request Josh. His knowledge and experience are worth a lot. Nick’s uses the best technology for scheduling including text reminders and e-mail receipts and photos of the work performed.

John and Will were great! They did a good job explaining the options and giving me information. Service was prompt, had an initial quote at 3p Friday and a complete water heater install the next morning. Install seemed professionally done, no complaints so far.I can't give five stars because it seemed expensive, but I didn't have time to really shop around. There was a bit to do to install a new gas water heater to code, but $3600 was more than I expected.I'm willing to give Nick's another shot, but I'll probably get a few quotes next time.

NP responded to my call quickly and worked out a plan to repair the horizontal water pipes. With a high demand for plumbers and limited supply of material, Nick’s Plumbing completed the work as soon as the materials arrived in Houston. Their service man tested the system one sink, toilet and shower at a time. I am very satisfied with the work they did at my home.

Nick's was very reasonably priced compared to other options I investigated. They were able to schedule me very quickly, and kept in good communication (including a text with my service techs name and picture) prior to service. The guys arrived within the window they said they would, walked me through options, and got the job done (hot water heater de-scaling) in good time. They were professional and personable and I have no complaints.

I called about a surprise leak and Nick's was quick to respond. They scheduled me in as soon as they could, which was 3 days later. We had Anthony and we had a great experience with him. He was goofy at first because he didn't know what he was coming to do, even though we told the company. After he saw the problem, he gave solution suggestions and did a great job. He cleaned up around his area and I'd recommend him and Nick's to anyone.

We were their last stop of the day and the two guys still agreed to stay and repair our pipe leak, which then turned into two exterior pipe breaks so that we could try to get water back to the house. Over the past several months, we’ve had a lot of work done by different companies and contractors. It has seemed like customer service has simply gotten worse, so when I called Nick’s to take a look at our gas lines, I wasn’t expecting much. Josh went far beyond what I was expecting, and it was refreshing to deal with someone who cared about what he was doing and about me as a customer given everything else I’ve gone through. Our interaction will likely mean that I’ll be calling Nick’s for anything plumbing or AC related in the future.

Very easy and convenient to set up appointment. Appreciate all the communication - confirmation, follow-up with information on the plumber Anthony, and updates on the arrival of the plumber. Anthony was extremely helpful and did a great and professional job with the installation of the faucet. He was patient with all my questions. I requested additional quotes for future work, and he sent me all the quotes at the end of the visit along with pictures and videos he has taken of the issues noted. Work was very thorough and would be contacting them again.

Insanity. These guys came out to give us a quote for re-plumbing our small home in the Heights. Their bid was over double what the next three master plumbers bid. I wrote to Nicks plumbing, thinking a simple mistake must have been made in their calculations. No response. Needless to say, we went with the other crew who did an immaculate job, city inspector said it was the best he’d seen in a long time. We saved $12,000 by not going with Nick’s Plumbing. Sure, the guys were in pressed shirts and had a shiny van. But is that worth $12k???

We used Nicks plumbing about a year ago for our home inspection and were satisfied. So, when we noticed our kitchen sink handle was leaking and there was a leak under the sink we called the morning after Christmas and they had a technician out within an hour to our house. The technician was very knowledgeable and explained the issue thoroughly and was able to fix the problem on the spot. We will definitely call Nicks plumbing again if we have any other issues in the future!

Alex is beyond amazing. My overall project took a LONG time to finish but he consistently provided excellent service until his part (an all new HVAC) was complete. He was responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Definitely ask for Alex if you want any HVAC work done. You will not regret it.

I called this company for plumbing issues I was having at my home. I was told Nick's Plumbing would be at my home between 10 am and noon. I did not have a problem with this because I took the day off to take care of this. But when 11:55 am rolled around and I had not heard from them, I called their office. I was told they were running late, that they would call me when they were headed to my home. They finally called me back at 4:45 pm. So I spent the ENTIRE DAY waiting for this no show company. I was so bothered with Nick's plumbing, I told them not to come.I understand people get busy, BUT I am also busy. I spent my whole day waiting for them, I WILL NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN. COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE.

The repair crew responded quickly and resolved my water line leak within 2 1/2 hours. I had forgotten how much we rely on running water and was very glad to get it back. David and his crew were professional, friendly and responsive.By the way, plumbers charge way too much for what they do.Dig a little trench, put in some new plastic pipe (PEK) and then ask for $2,800.Nope. That’s way more expensive than an appendectomy.We settled for less. Much less.

If you listen to their hold music Nick’s prides itself on showing up on time, having parts and making quality repairs. Don’t believe what you hear.First visit to replace a leaking faucet cartridge they arrived outside appointment window then managed to break the handle and instructed me order the wrong cartridge.On the second visit to install the new cartridge they again arrived late. Then discovered they had me order the wrong part. They went and got the correct part came back and entered my house without COVID masks. They were supposed to fix handle but left broken handle on and departed. Handle came off later in my wife’s hand. I called to strongly share my dissatisfaction and they asked for one last chance to save my business. I reluctantly agreed and let them order new handle.Yesterday I received an appointment reminder that they would be at my house between 10:00 and 12:00. I had not set up this appointment but figured they knew the handle had arrived. For the third time I sat in my house waiting for the plumber to arrive. After 12:00 had come and gone I called the office and told I was still in schedule. I was placed in hold to listen to their message about how they always show up in time.Anybody know a good plumber?

Our hot water heater was leaking and we needed one ASAP. Nicks returned our call promptly and came out the next day. The job was done efficiently and to our expectation. The price was reasonable too. Anthony was very competent, professional and courteous. This is the second time we have used Nicks Plumbing and we will call them again and again.

The plumber, William, arrived at my home promptly and was very courteous, professional and informative. I asked him quite a few questions and he patiently answered. He perform the service well - garbage disposal replacement, and in a timely manner.My only concern is that I feel the cost was a bit high. I do understand I could have purchased the item myself and hired a handy man for less expense. Even so the charge was at the high end of what I learned online for this type of service. I do however get s 90 day warranty which possibly would not get from a handyman.

Needed 2 toilets installed; searched Google and found Nick's Plumbing. After researching a few places decided to go with Nick's and very happy with the decision. Was able to schedule the service for the next day.They came out providing an estimate first, explaining the cost, including any potential problems and the process for the issues should they arise.Once cost was settled Luis' team got right to work. They cleaned as they went apprising me of the process and checking for problems. They were quick and efficient while making sure the installation was done properly. Needless to say I will use Nick's Plumbing and Luis again.

Great communication from Gracie and Felicia over at the office. Professional on-site service from Gilbert Ray. He worked super fast and was able to explain all the issues and repairs. Overall a trustworthy company and would highly recommend using this plumber.

The good: workers were professional and did a great job installing a new kitchen faucet. The bad: I stayed home from work for half a day waiting for plumbers that did not arrive! Not sure if this happens commonly, but it is sure frustrating. Overall, quite pleased with the quality of work.

Immediately after our pipes burst due to the Great Texas Freeze my husband called Nick's on Tuesday to schedule an appointment. He received their answering sevice. He called them again on Wednesday and scheduled an appointment. He was told they would be out on Saturday and he reconfirmed on Thursday the Saturday date. He received a text Friday saying they would be at our house Saturday between 12-2. A little past 2, after no communication, he called Nick's and was told they wouldn't be out to Katy until Sunday or Monday. He received another text saying they would be here Sunday between 12-2. On Sunday he called to see if they were coming and he was told they were running out of parts. They were going to try to get more parts on Monday and would let us know Tuesday when they'd be coming. My husband called midday on Tuesday after not receiving the promised communication. He was then told they would be here Wednesday or Thursday and they would give us 30 minutes' notice before coming. We found a general contractor to do the work Wednesday and they completed the work that same day. After over a week without running water, it was wonderful to finally have some!We feel that Nick's jerked us around. We understand they are busy. However, we are disappointed they were not more honest with their scheduling forecast upfront and that they were not better communicators (we only received updates of schedule changes when we called). Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company.

I recently used Nick’s plumbing to fix a faucet leak for a bathtub faucet in our house. The workers were extremely courteous and skillful. The completed job itself was fantastic. I do believe that their work was a little overpriced. The only reason I did not give Nick’s a five star rating was because they did not arrive in the two hour window they gave me. The only communication that was provided to me was an email stating that the plumber was on his way. I had to call twice to receive updates and was mever called ahead of their arrival. Even though this was discouraging, I would still highly recommend Nick’s. I would also like to point out that the email sent to me also included the name of the plumber and a short bio on him. These were very nice personal touches that were greatly appreciated. If they can work out their tardiness and communication issues, I would give them 5 stars.

We had great experiences with Gilbert, who fixed our shower and had to work with a very unprofessional tile person on the same job. Gilbert was super patient and communicative, and he went above and beyond to help us get the job done right.We have also had great experiences replacing our HVAC system with Alex—total professional who explained everything very clearly, got the job done on time, and was a pleasure to work with.Can’t speak highly enough about the people we’ve worked with at Nicks in both plumbing and HVAC. I put up a posting on Angie’s List and Nick’s Plumbing was one of the first to respond. We had a drainage issue that caused water to back up into our tub, toilet, and sink. Jose was super communicative about when they’d be out (ASAP!) so I knew what was going on at every step of the way. I got email text and phone calls which I really liked. Leo was the technician who came and fixed our issue. He unclogged it and also did a video inspection afterward to diagnose the underlying issue (tree roots getting into our sewage drain line). He gave us recommendations and never pressured me into anything extra. He also emailed me quotes for another project we were looking into for the future. Overall, very professional and fixed our problem quickly! Would highly recommend Nick’s Plumbing!

Not happy with the service. I feel loke I paid entirely too much money for what I got. First day on the job the Journeyman plumber hurt his knee. That’s tough luck and not his fault. They went home 2 hours after they arrived. The next day they come back (him on crutches) to finish working. The helper made dozens of trips outside to their van to get instructions while the journeyman sat in my driveway smoking and playing games on his phone. Yes I am sure that’s what he was doing I took video. So I was paying $4k to have 2 in the walk drains moved and 2 water supply lines rerouted. 1 shower head installed. Price was steep but hey I was willing to pay bc I needed it done. I finally had to call the dispatcher and complain bc NO progress was being made. Not the helpers fault he was trying. About 2 hours later a couple more guys show up and they finally got done around 7pm or so. Will not use again. Would not recommend.

We've used Nick's Plumbing several times and I can't say enough good things about them. Our most recent experience really exemplifies the great service we received. Our water heater went out on a Thursday night and I called Nick's at 8:00 a.m. the next day; they had one of their plumbers, Luis, at the house by 9:00 to diagnose the problem. Luis quickly figured it out, ordered the part, and was back at our house Monday morning at 8:30 to install it. We'd steeled ourselves for a week or so without hot water but, thanks to Nick's Plumbing, the issue was fixed over the weekend.

Fantastic service at a reasonable price! Called them at 8:30am, Adam arrived within the hour and had it fixed by 11am. He researched the part and found the last one available, saving me a bunch of money by not having to replace the entire toilet. Very professional. I will call them for all my repair needs from now on.

We had an emergency plumbing issue at my business, where our restroom pipes where clogged and no toilets would flush and were leaking on the bathroom floor. I called Nicks Plumbing& Sewer Service and the office staff was very friendly and said they would have someone out within a hour and a half to three hours. I received a call 30 minutes later and Steve and Daniel showed up 45 minutes after i called them. They were very professional and had the issue fixed quickly at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend these guys and will use them in the future for plumbing needs and issues.

My water heater burst yesterday morning and within 30 minutes two wonderful technicians, including Fernando, showed up with a new heater. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was in top order before they left. They were courteous and professional and I will definitely be calling them again for my future plumbing issues.UPDATE: 4/22/20So, what can I say. Nick's plumbing is now like MY company for HVAC and plumbing. In just the last five days I've had both plumbing and AC work done, extremely pleased with the work of Nick's Plumbing on both tasks. Background: I actually had my water heater burst on me a few months ago. Nick's came the same day and fixed it right away, no problems, all good, fair price. Then, I thought I needed to replace the piping in my ENTIRE house, according to what another company had told me. I called Nick's back and their tech, Eric, came out and said I really just had a leak that needed to be fixed behind the bathroom sink. They fixed that, showed me the underlying condition of my other piping, which was just fine. They even installed a new vanity and faucet at no extra charge. I swear another big company that does lots of advertising on TV told me they would charge $3,500 to do the new install. (I had a slide-in, stand -alone, cheap-o $ 250 vanity from Home Depot to install, mind you). At the time I was fearing a total re-piping, I knew I also most definitely needed a new AC! My AC had notched 18 years and the drain pan in the attic was full of water and rusting through, presenting a critical repair/replacement need. I've had multiple professionals tell me this for at least the last 3 years. Nick's Plumbing (Eric, the plumber, and his colleague whose name I cant' recall but who was also very nice) told me the company had recently expanded their services to include HVAC. So, the same afternoon Caleb and Ronnie came to my home, delightful and professional gentleman. They gave me a really great quote and were out to install the new unit within only two days. (I do my due diligence with this stuff, got several estimates and opinions, and Nick's really offered me the best of three quotes for only what I really needed -- costing literally half as much as one big company that advertises a lot on TV) My new AC is working great and it has all these wonderful warranties and service plans included. I enjoyed them being here and I fully trust their workmanship - the whole team that came for the job. They seemed to take real satisfaction in doing good, thorough work. One last thing, after my sink was installed, my toilet started screeching. I called Nick's back and they offered to come back and made a repair (not caused by them) at no charge. They just left and I am just so happy and grateful. Nick's Plumbing will be my first call from now on. I really can't recommend them more highly.

Leo at Nick’s plumbing is amazing! He was on time (early actually), friendly, and extremely competent and knowledgeable. Long story short - he cleared the clog in our toilet while also retrieving my credit card and driver’s license that has fallen in and caused the clog. I’d highly recommend them!

I've been very happy with quality of service and timeliness of Nick's Plumbing. I've used them on three different occasions for water heater replacement, shower valve repair and upgrading some new toilets. The service techs have been knowledgeable and were able to answer the questions and concerns that I had about the work that needed to be done. Also, they have educated me on many of the issues with our City of Houston drinking water. I am looking to add a whole house water filtration system and seem to have interesting solutions. The pricing was fair and reasonable and I will use them again for future projects.

I revised my rating to 5-stars. Nick’s plumbing provides an honest assessment and reliable repairs. I initially put 4-stars because I was disappointed that there is not a great solution to the problem I am experiencing, but that is related to the construction of my home and not the quality of the service that Nick’s plumbing provided and so I changed my rating to reflect 5-stars.

*UPDATE*I would like to update this review. The dispatcher called Fri evening to say I’d be 2nd on the list for Saturday morning. The technician made it out to the house Saturday morning and was able to address the error code and also teach me how to perform annual maintenance. The service was extremely professional and I appreciate the company making good on their word. I will use this company again after the most recent interaction.*ORIGINAL*This business is unreliable and doesn’t stick to their word.Had an error code on a tankless water heater. Called first thing Thursday AM, dispatcher said I was on the list for Friday and received confirmation text message shortly after the call. On Friday, called around 1p to ask if the technician was still coming. Was reassured the technician would make it before the end of the day. Was told technicians work through their list for the day until they made it through everyone on the list. 5p Friday received a call saying they needed to reschedule for Monday.All I was hoping for is accurate and consistent communication. Rescheduling for Monday wouldn’t be a problem if I hadn’t made plans to be home all day Friday to receive the technician. I even called and gave the dispatcher a chance to be upfront at 1p. Disappointed that I wasted a day waiting on a business that is unreliable.

Zach and Fernando from Nick’s plumbing provided us with excellent service from start to finish!! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right when replacing our tankless water heater. They were even surprised with a city inspection during installation and handled it all without any issues. To top it off, the cost was significantly less than the second estimate I received from a local heights plumbing company!! They didn’t even charge me extra for the additional work that was needed! Very nice and professional. Great work and knowledgeable. I think this company is expensive. Toilet was 179 at Lowes and I paid 813 for toilet and installation. That’s the only bad thing I can say. Labor was too expensive for a 179.00 toilet.

Nicks' Plumbing is the best. I have used them several times for my plumbing issues. This time it was my water heater which had gone out. They came out looked at it and gave me all the options to repair or replace. I decide to replace and they did a great job getting everything done. We engaged Nick's Plumbing after damage suffered from burst pipes during winter storm Uri. Josh Rodriguez, the plumber, was great in communication with us and prompt in showing up. The Nick plumbing crew worked efficiently, with constant updates, and took care not to cause any colateral damage in repairing the leaks. Josh was upfront with all costs involved in scope of work, completed the job as quickly as possible and cleaned the work site after they finished their work. We will definitely use them again and are grateful to have running water again.

Our 11 year old water heater stopped working. Nick's came out, diagnosed the problem, offered to get it working to see if it would continue working. We decided instead to replace it, which they did, all on a Saturday. Where else does that happen?? Great job, Nick's. Very appreciated.

We had no hot water on New Year’s Day. After the burner refused to re-light, i called Nick’s Plumbing. We had hot water in less than 24 hours after I made the call. William and Colin did the work and both of them were very pleasant and trustworthy. I’d recommend them to a friend.This is also the second time we’ve hired Nick’s Plumbing and Sewer Service. We had some nice Koehler bathroom faucets that we did not want to replace. Two faucets on one sink had developed leaks, and i was difficult to find the right size washers, due to the age of the faucets. Eric from Nick’s installed completely new insides, with new valves and washers in two faucets. That was cheaper than having to replace all four faucets to match the other sink. On that repair visit, Eric also replaced a valve in a Koehler toilet.They did excellent work both times and were very nice to deal with. We were given a two-hour appointment window each time, so we didn’t have to sit home & wait either time. They guaranteed their work as well. They either removed their work boots or wore shoe covers when they came into our home. The old water heater was hauled away, at no additional charge, and they left no mess at all.

I called Nick's this week after they were recommended by the previous home owner. They sent Josh Baker the same afternoon and he was outstanding. He quickly fixed out bathroom sink drainage problem and made some recommendations on how to avoid the same issue in the future, and offered some drainage product recommendations. Finally, he honored our coupon, which saved us more than half the cost of the visit. It was my first time calling a plumber and a great experience. We now have a new plumber to count on in our new neighborhood.

We had a water line leak between our house and the neighbor's that was right at the sidewalk. They had to dig a great deal of the neighbor's flower bed and our strip of grass out to get to the line. Willie Johnson was absolutely outstanding at explaining what they needed to do, how they would do it, how long it would take and then assured us that the planting/landscape would be put back just as it was. My husband send photos to me while I was out of town of the work in process and then photos when they finished. I could not believe how perfectly they put things back together and left it extremely clean. You can't tell that we had a major plumbing repair! Also, of course the water line is repaired with quality materials! Willie is a customer service pro and technician. I recommend Nick's and Willie Johnson in particular without hesitation.

From the start to the finish of my plumbing project to replace my toilet I was very pleased with the service and commitment to get this job done right. I was impressed with the fact that the Service Rep Josue was dispatched to my home quickly to evaluate my project with no initial service call fee - but to see what needed to be done and then give me a no obligation quote. The toilet that needed to be replaced was quite old and putting in the new one was quite a challenge and required extra work because the fittings in the floor had to be modified. Josue was very professional, polite and went out of his way to make all the adjustments He did a great job with the new install and all of this was done at the original quoted price. Nicks will be my go to company if I ever have any other plumbing projects - They are Grade A all the way.

I'm an insurance agent. I am highly pleased with Nick's Plumbing and I will refer them to my clients. Nick's Plumbing took my call courteously, asked me succinct and thorough questions, and was able to schedule an appointment for either same day or next day. The plumber showed up when they said they would, and kept us updated via text and an email about his arrival times and progress. The problem was a clogged kitchen sink which had buildup over time. About an hour to hour and half of work for $285. The plumber called me with the estimate before starting the work and was able to take my payment over the phone. The whole process was easy and professional. Again, I am extremely pleased with Nick's Plumbing and they will be getting my clients' business.

I scheduled to have work done at my house from 10 - 12. THEY called me at 1130 to push back to 1pm. But at 2pm I had not heard from them. We needed to check if there was a leak in our secondary bathtub and the technician was very thorough and honest about us not having a leak. He fixed our garbage disposal and showed us how he did it too. He was very efficient and informative regarding how plumbing works. The price for each service was on the high end, which is the only con, which is no fault of the technician.

For years I have depended on Nick’s Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. A few weeks ago, after years of low hot water flow, made worse by the recent freeze, I called Nick’s for help. Adam Coker arrived, sized up the problem and formulated a recovery plan. Adam performed a few immediate fixes which helped tremendously, the final fix being a hot water re-pipe. When the re-pipe date arrived, Adam was accompanied by his brother Ethan. It was amazing to watch this dynamic duo go to work. They were both very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and it was apparent their goal was to complete the re-pipe quickly, accurately and with as little collateral damage as possible. When plumbing work in my building requires the water to be shut off, the entire building is affected, so the shut off must be scheduled in advance and strictly adhered to. Adam and Ethan made sure the water was off only within the allotted time and completed the entire re-pipe in one very long day. Throughout the entire process, Adam and Ethan maintained a great attitude and positive demeanor.Kudos to Nick’s for hiring top notch employees like Adam and Ethan. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am, the only reason I gave them 5 Stars is because I can’t give them 6. I tell you, I’ve never met nicer people. I had a weird incident with someone driving over my meter box and it broke the main water line into my house. One phone call to Nick’s and they had a couple guys out the same day. They were friendly and very experienced. I was pretty shocked at the damage, but they took it in stride and knew just how to fix it. Great communication the whole way through, and I had water restored to the house a couple hours later.Will definitely be calling them for all my future plumbing needs.

Please be aware that the Pumbling free estimate advertised by the company is not 100% correct, or even well explained!!I tried to schedule a free estimate for a pumbling service in my house, as advertised in the company website. Only at the end of my phone call with the scheduling assistant Felicia, I was informed that a service fee of $49 will be charged for the visit. I informed that the website of the company stated that the estimates are free, only then she informed me that the fee will be deducted from my bill, If i decided to go ahead with the service. Therefore, no free estimate!!I contacted the main office of the company, to clarify the incident, and they are aware of the missalignment between the company website and the service fee practice, and they informed me that depending of the type of your pumbling estimate a fee will be charged, and only waivered if you approve the service, what is the regular practice of the market and very different of a free estimate!!However that is not mentioned anywhere in the Nick's Pumbling website, that should had stated up front in the website that the $49 service fee will be deducted from your total bill conditional to the estimate acceptance.

Had an urgent water gushing emergency and within the hour, Nick's was at our house and working on our issue. The responsiveness and ability to address a gusher (until I turned off the water at the street, leaving us without water) quickly, really was great. They were professional, clean, quality work, and very straight forward on the fix, cost, and solution. I'll look to them for any future plumbing needs.

Luis Camacho was an excellent professional. He kept me informed of the status of my repair throughout the process, was always on time, and managed the project very quickly. We have used Nick's four times now over the years for our 80-year old house, and employees like Luis are the reason. In addition, the work is always first rate.

Two different technicians came to our home, Alex did heating/ac service, Eric cleared and connected a gas line to an outdoor firepit. Both were on time, professional, knowledgeable, and communicated clearly what needed to be done and why. The work was performed within the timeframes they set, at a price that—while not the cheapest out there—seemed fair and appropriate. I have worked with Nick's since 2013 and will continue to do so anytime I require plumbing/sewer services. I highly recommend.

The technicians were very nice, wore masks and shoe coverings, and cleaned up after themselves. Anthony went out of his way to fix my sink. My only complaint is they can't seem to show up during their appointed time, both were very late. I understand jobs running long or short staffed, however a phone call from the office that the tech is tied up and will not be there between the appointed times would be greatly appreciated.

This company is great. Scheduling an appointment is easily done by email or by phone. They provide a SMALL window for service and text and call prior to arriving. Once there, the technician clearly explains the process and price prior to beginning the work. They even review payment options. Their use of technology and their obvious effort to communicate clearly makes doing business with them very easy. I will never call another plumber. Even if something does go wrong I know they would fix it.

Absurd. First guy that came out didn’t know how to fix shower faucet. He tells me he will arrange for someone else to come out that does. He didn’t. When I called to setup new appt, they tell me 10-12…it’s now 1:20 and they tell me he won’t be there until after he eats lunch now?! WTH?! Terrible customer service…going elsewhere.

I had a outside faucet replaced, including 90 in ground and brass spout to house, price 684.00 a little high, but if job done right worth it.....with 1 year warranty. (would like to have gotten 2 years)Plumber Luis was thorough, professional, cleaned up well after job done. He didn't mind questions about repair. Also I appreciated he wasn't on personal calls while working, as a another plumber with another company I dealt with was.

By far the best experience when it comes to plumbing. It's already a stressful situation if there is an issue with plumbing but Anthony Piazza made it smooth and easy! I highly recommend anyone to request him personally. He goes above and beyond. He explains well the situation, is fair and honest. He cares about the customer and the situation and has their best interest in mind. We had another situation with plumbing and it wasn't so stressful because we knew that this time we would ask for Anthony and the job would be done, and done well.

I recently hired Nick's plumbing to replace a shower valve in my master bath. Due to an unexpected problem with the installation the job had to be redone. After reviewing the details of the problem the management at Nick's Plumbing determined that the issue was their fault and they corrected the problem at no additional expense to me. This is one of the very few companies that I I have had experiences with who took ownership of the problem and fixed it without getting defensive or pointing fingers at other people involved. That speaks volumes about their honesty and integrity in my opinion. I found their price to be competitive. I have recommended them to a hand full of colleagues and neighbors so far and will continue to do so. I will definitely call them with my next plumbing job. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to more than one scheduling conflict with the job that caused me to waste too much time waiting for the plumber to arrive only to be given short notice that they had to reschedule. This can be easily corrected in the future with better communication by phone.

They installed a tankless water unit and I also had them upgrade the unit so that the hot water would run immediately when turned on. I am very satisfied with the level of service and professionalism. I will definitely be using their services again, when needed.

I had sewer repairs done under my house and they were priced right, had the best reviews of the 4 companies I contacted and performed the work up to my expectations. Nick's technician Willie Johnson did a superb job replacing the corroded drain beneath a bathroom sink. After examining the situation, he knowledgeably explained what he needed to do, and offered an eminently reasonable estimate. He performed the work, left no mess at all in the area, and took away all the corroded/faulty parts. The faucet drain worked like new. The next time we need plumbing work, I will be asking Nick's to send Mr. Johnson.

Man oh man these guys were great! We called them with an urgent job, needing a shower fixed before some guest arrived later that day! I had shopped around for several hours with people promising to call me back & others not having availability for several day until I found Nicks. The receptionist I spoke with was courteous and informative, she explained to me the exact process and that the tech would come during a window of time and that they would call when he was en-route. They were by far the most polite company I had contacted. The technician Josh K. was an absolute professional! He was able to diagnose the problem within moments, and resolve/repair the shower super fast! He was polite, had a friendly demeanor and was respectful of the space where he was working. I contacted Nick's Plumbing on January 26th around 4 pm. I was placed on the schedule for January 27th Saturday mid afternoon. Ron and Sam arrived on time. They were professional and informed us about the problem. The part required for the repair could not be ordered and pick up before Monday. We were scheduled for Monday mid afternoon. Ron and Sam arrived on time made the repair with less labor than expected the cost was 325 dollars LESS than the estimate. Our shower wouldn't shut off. I called Nick's the next morning and they fit me in to a time slot from 11-1. Then I got a call at 9:30am asking if they could show up early. Once confirmed, I immediately got a text with the tech's information, background, and picture. The techs were extremely professional, explained the possible problems and fixed my shower valve in less than 30 minutes. Before they left, the head tech asked if I wanted my water tank checked while he was here. He promptly went into my attic to check it out without me even thinking to ask. I highly recommend Nick's! Very professional and extremely helpful!

I called Nick's Plumbing bc they have been great at diagnosing minor plumbing problems in the past hoping they could help with our late night bathroom flooding that left us without water service. They arrived the next day on time! and plumber Willie Johnson quickly discovered where the busted pipe was hiding and was able to piece together new copper line/pipe/valve/hose from parts in his well stocked truck. These people do outstanding work. Flawless and perfectly done in every way. The first time was two months ago to install new faucets in the downstairs bathrooms. Yesterday again to install two new toilets which look and work perfectly. Some things they do that every customer appreciates: 1. Dispatch center keeps you on top of their arrival time...they call and e-mail you to let you know their plumber is enroute. They even e-mail you the picture and name of the person coming so you know who to expect. The plumbers and their trucks are very well equipped and on arrival they assess what needs to be done and give you immediate up-front pricing. When done they clean everything like they had never been there and e-mail you before and after pictures of the job they just completed. I am beyond pleased. They were able to send someone out within a two hour window (he showed up within one hour), diagnosed the problem, and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I couldn't ask for more! Nick's plumbing came out the same day that I called and returned the following morning to replace my entire water heater. The guys worked quickly and had hot water back up and running in no time. They also seemed to make a conservative effort to give me the best deal they could and save me money where they could. Will use them again.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Nicks Plumbing and would recommend them. They were very responsive when I first called for a quote. I was looking to replace my old mix of copper/galvanized/PEX for unified PEX setup in my pier and beam house. The technician was on time and walked me through my repairs and how they would approach it (where they would cut out to reach the plumbing). Ron was very helpful and transparent. They are on the higher side for pricing but their quality of work is worth it. The technicians that came out for the job were great and completed the job in a timely manner. Very happy with the quality of work that was done.The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the way they ended up getting access was different from what was explained beforehand. I didn't mind that they had to remove more drywall/panelling to get access but they didn't cut in a way that was easy to fix. They did attempt to fix one of the areas which I very much appreciated but the work had to be redone. If I had larger plumbing job, I would compare and consider a ready to paint service a plus.

Absolutely wonderful service, called me several times to let me know the status of the technician’s arrival time. Technicians were very professional. Charges for a water leak detection were very reasonable. I called them for a second opinion after another plumber told me that I would need to have my floor ripped up to find the leak. Nick’s technicians found the problem - a mal-functioning heater control valve. Saved me thousands of dollars. Highly recommend them.

We have used Nick's Plumbing for over 20years in our old house and now in our new home. I needed a whole house water filter installed that was supposed to be an easy DYI. The plumbers were fine, but they gave me a hard sell on replacing my garbage disposal. It did need to be replaced but I had not planned on it and had not researched costs. I had an obstruction and they repaired that and recommended replacement. It is on me but they basically sold me a disposal at twice the cost of going with a Lowes or Home Depot on the same disposal. I will not use them again.

I was having guests in my new home. But no cold water in the guest bath and I didn’t want to scald them. Home warranty wouldn’t cover it (very deceptive marketing). Nick’s was there in 3 hours and worked until 8 pm to make sure everything worked properly. Very satisfied customer!

We had a small water leak from our second floor bathroom down into a 1st floor bedroom that occurred after unclogging a toilet. We had seen Nick's Plumbing trucks around the neighborhood for years, but had not had a need for a plumber previously. We called Nick's Plumbing at 3 PM on a Friday, Leo and Sergio came out the same day to take a look. They inspected the bathroom plumbing and asked if they could come back on Monday morning once the damaged 1st floor ceiling was removed. When they came back they again inspected all the plumbing from underneath, ran a camera down the line to confirm there was nothing clogging the pipes, and were satisfied that the source of the leak was not directly related to the plumbing and left with no charge because they didn't do anything. Leo and Sergio's professionalism and thoroughness were evident in their complete evaluation of our problem and proves that Nick's Plumbing was the right choice for us to call. Should a plumbing issue arise in the future for we will not hesitate to contact them again.

Used Nick's once before and I was very pleased. Used them again for a clogged drain and Zack came out the same day, determined the problem and fixed it in a short time frame. I've used Nick's Plumbing several times. They get the job done but I feel if you try to get a discount they will just remove some services from their work. You must also watch out for some sleazier sales guys, asking for cash. But they are quick and will not leave until its repaired.

The guys did an excellent job installing the AC unit in my townhome that was extremely old. They did a good job retrofitting the new unit and even rented a crane to get the old compressor off the roof and the new one on. Nick's also provided a unit with a great guarantee. I would highly recommend Nick's Pluming and AC.

Response time was great, and was able to get a truck rolled the same day. Technician was courteous and efficient, job was completed quickly and neatly. The only issue I had was that the price was higher than I expected. Next time I will shop around for a better price.

Nick's Plumbing did a great job replacing the gas valve on my hot water heater. They were honest, efficient and neat about the job. They fix what is broken and provide a decent warranty. And, they were able to provide a same day appointment.

Started out with a very courteous individual on the phone who answered my call immediately and got me scheduled for next day service. The plumber and his assistant showed up on time and were great. They listened to me describe the issue and then posed a couple things that could be causing my leak. They were very clear in explaining what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and how much it would cost. They identified the source of the leak and were able to fix it on the spot. Lastly, they cleaned up the area and moved things back to where they were before they got there. I would definitely work with Nick's again and would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing service.

Have an older home in Briar Meadow and recently we had a power surge at the house that took out my A/C and my garage fridge. Having used Nick's Plumbing/Air in the past for plumbing repairs and inspections on my older home I purchased last year, I called on this company again. Due to my travels out of state, I wasn't able to be home during this process but the technician (Caleb) was awesome in assessing and ultimately replacing my unit w/ a new Trane system. Price was very competitive and service was excellent. Was great to rely on one company that I trust to also handle my A/C issues.

I have used Nick's Plumbing a few times and they have been awesome each time, prompt and affordable. Once I called and they told me that I could probably fix it myself and they told me how at no charge. I have read some of the reviews on here and have seen that it looks like other people have nothing else to do than complain.. those people probably are not nice people anyway so don't listen to them. Nick's Plumbing was the fourth plumber we called to bid on a plumbing project for an old house (1938) in Houston. Unlike the first three, they identified the problem correctly and came up with a solution. This was a large project, but they did it right and with complete transparency all the way. I can't say enough about how we enjoyed working with Leo Guzman and his assistants. Nick's has my whole-hearted recommendation because of their honesty and competence.

Plumber was on time and very courteous and respectful. To unclog the drain it took them approximately 30minutes which was great!

We had a water leak of the outdoor water line leading to our home. Nick's Plumbing came by fast, and had a faster diagnosis: replace the entire water line for $4000+. Special manager discount $3500. After waiting a few days on a different plumbing co (during which time I had to turn the water on and off, so was a bit inconvenient), I ended up having it fixed for $175. Was well worth waiting a few days.

This is our 2nd time using Nick's, both experiences were great. Fernando and Armando had to work extra hard with this old bungalow in 100 degree weather but smiled the whole time completing a flawless job! I also loved I put the request in after hour and got a text at 7am, they were coming at 8.

Copper Piping for our outside shower was replaced due to multiple freeze issues. They used pressed fittings which created a very professional job especially since the pipe is visible. We are very happy with high quality of work.

Great experience! 2 plumbers came over to change a leaking valve. They were very nice and professional and so sweet to my little dog that greeted them at the door. The price was reasonable and they came on a Saturday as well. I’d use them again.

My tankless water heater was making loud vibrations, so I called Nick's plumbing to come take a look at it (my builder's plumber was not available at the time and I wanted it fixed asap).The technician informed me I didn't have a drain pan and the tankless water heater would need to be relocated as it was too hard to access. On top of this, he told me they were able to clear some debris from the fan, but weren't able to completely fix it that day as it would take 8-9 hours. I paid ~250 dollars for 45 minutes - 1 hour of their time, and then the technician verbally quoted me $5,000-$7,000 (a huge number to take in) to relocate the water heater / clean it out and said he would follow up with a written quote the next morning.I never received the quote and come to find out, I DO have a drain pan and another plumber was able to fix the vibrations within an hour.I hope this isn't the case for others, but given that I do not have any experience with tankless water heaters, I trusted the reviews of this company, and unfortunately I ended up feeling they attempted to take advantage of a young, female, first time home owner. I cannot recommend this company.

The were quick to come out. I called and they had to fit me on but made I’d in within 2 hours from the time I called. The problem turned out to be with the sink not the toilet. They were quick to diagnose and even quicker to fix it. Reasonable priced and great service. The guys explained the problem and steps I could take to avoid it in the future.

The service attendant was clean and efficient.The thing that will keep me from calling Nicks Plumbing again is theprice. 30 min here no parts and the cost $265.00. Twice what it should have been. There are more reasonable companies out there.

No job is too big or too small for Nicks. I needed something installed this morning, Friday,December 20th. I make the call in the morning to set up the appointment, and within minutes I received confirmation that the plumber would contact me when he was on his way. That was then followed up by a text message, with a picture of the plumber who had been assigned to the job.When the plumber arrived, sometime before noon, I noticed that his feet were covered with protective covers, which I thought was a nice show of respect for my house. Nicks does not charge an automatic “show up fee”. Instead, the plumber and I negotiated the price of the job ahead of time, and I was able to pay with my credit card. No hidden costs - no games. Outstanding company!!! Got the phone number off a Google Ad and definitely happy I chose them. Technician Josue came out within 2 hours and fixed issue with clogged plumbing within 30 minutes. We had a clogged kitchen sink, was able to get a sane day appointment. Technicians Leo and his assistant arrived on time and every detail was good in the service. They quickly fixed the clog and I know who to call next time for plumbing issues.

Technician Willie Johnson is a great person to work with. He explains everything before the work is started and followed up to confirm that we were happy. He diagnosed the issue when he unclogged the drain and provided an estimate during his first visit when he unclogged the drain line from the kitchen to the main drain.We needed a sewer line re-routed. The crew that dug the trench and installed the line were great. The trench had good drop for good flow. The crew cleaned up when they finished, replaced the grass turf after filling in the hole, and were very friendly. We would call Nick's again for service. Just be sure that if you do not speak spanish that they send at least one person that speaks english. This was an issue with one visit and Willie and the management at Nick's took care of this for the final visit.

I have a 101 year old house. Anthony and Cory immediately knew which route to go when they walked into the bathroom, as they were accustom to old houses. They thought out of the box, which one has to do for my problems. my problem seemed complicated to me, and i have put it off for a decade. the shower downstairs wouldn't work. Several people looked at it, but Nick's Service was right on it, I am SO HAPPY i called them. THey had great reviews, and now they have one more from me!!! I am so happy with the work, the guys, and the experience!!!

They use a subcontractor for sewer line replacement and they are not up to the Nick’s standards, in my opinion. Replacing about 30’ of sewer line, which took two guys two hours, cost more than replacing the pipes under our house last February, which took about 6 or7 guys most of the day.

The appointment was at 10 am but the technician arrived one hour later and that plumber company did no call me to tell me he would be late.
As for the service, the technician explained to me what the problem was and the solution. The cost was fair. He did a good job. I would recomend them

I contacted Nick's plumbing via a Google Search and Angie's List. I needed to get a drain unclogged, and I needed to have my Tankless Water Heater serviced, as my previous plumbing service had gone out of business during the ongoing COVOD Pandemic. Nick's Plumbing was highly recommended, and I contacted them via their web chat, explaining my situations. They were able to send a plumber on a day that fit my schedule. Zach was professional, detailed, and through. He inspected and serviced the clogged drainage, and drained our Tankless Water Heater. The sink is now draining, and the rate of hot water flowing has increased, resulting in a stronger current. The cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Nick's Plumbing, and will be a regular customer.

Technician called to let me know he was running behind due to the previous appointment. Quickly identified the issue and came up with a solution. Was missing one item required for the repair and instead of trying to cut corners, left to get the missing supplies and came right back. Did a thorough job and was respectful of my property while working. Will definitely use them again and can see why they have such a high rating on Angie's list.

Doing another remodeling project, and needed a gas line and valve relocated for the fireplace. Once the crew arrived they completed the work quickly and correctly. My only complaint ... was scheduled for a 10 to 12pm appointment, but the crew did not come until 4pm. No worries for me as I had the time available. May not be the same the next time. I trust Nick’s plumbing. They are the only ones I call for plumbing needs, and I’m in project #3 using their services.

They came out within one hour of my emergency call. I needed a snake clean-out of the sewer line from my home to the city pipe in the alley behind my home. Two plumbers arrived and they quickly got to work. They found the clog in the sewer line at about 70 ft where the connection is to the city line. It took almost an hour to do the job and I am extremely pleased with their professionalism and courtesy. Incidentally, the woman who answers their office phone, treated me nicely and efficiently. She was very pleasant. I have no complaints about the charge - it seems reasonable to me for the amount of work.

Great service, extremely responsive! Josh was sent out one evening after I returned from work to a front lawn, sidewalk, and street drain filled with water. The pipe burst in our sprinkler system from the recent freeze. He was one of the most professional, knowledgeable, experienced plumbers I've met. Had the problem identified, and fixed within 20 minutes. Even walked my 3 and 5 year old through his tool set, and how he was fixing the problem!

We had a great experience in the heat of the summer. Our AC wasn’t wanting to work and Nicks came out quickly and even sent a text message update when they were on their way with a photo of the technician coming out. We will be using them again for sure!

The other company we called we were waiting on new toilets 3 days when I called for status they never ordered them and told us the parts were obsolete so they had to be replaced. Nick's sent a service tech quickly to help us with a drain problem tied to our sewer line. He was professional and helpful, explaining what was wrong and how to prevent it in the future. We thought the charges were rather high for the work, and the other plumbing services he recommended may not need to be done as urgently as he suggested.

William came in and I showed him the issue that I had with my filter/disposal faucet. It was a simple issue he explained that all I need was a thicker tube so it will not leak. I asked him if it was something like this? Which was a black tube I already owned and he grabbed it and put on. It was a one minute fix. I was happy that it was a easy fix but I don’t think it is worth 75USD for him to come and use my tube that I owned and just plug it in.I would say a fair price would have been 35USD.

Charles Brown arrive early in the 2 hour window after a heads-up phone call. He covered his shoes before coming into the house, explained the problem with each item and was able to do the fix on one with supplies he already had in his truck. We decided to postpone the other repair until after the holidays as it is more extensive. His explanations were very clear, he was able to do the job promptly and very neatly. Not only was the price somewhat less than others, instead of a 4 hour window of waiting, it was only 2 hours which is much more convenient. Not only that, there is no charge for the visit and estimate. The components used appeared to be very sturdy and look like it will be good for a very long time.

Everything Nick's Plumbing has done for me has been top-notch work. Last week he (David) had to lower the water source (box) in the wall behind my washer/dryer down about 8 inches. Joe who came out listened the problems we had, and got right to work. After some test he was able to give us a quote and completed the work while he was there. Afterwards Joe tested to make sure everything was in working order and left the area where he was working clean. This company and its employees are like family when working to help homeowners. It has been rough on everyone in Houston with the unexpected winter storm, but when I called Alex at Nicks Heating and Air they found a way to work me in and made sure our family had a working heating and cooling system. I will be honest and tell you sometimes they are not able to answer the phones, but I promise you they will return your call and get to every customer. What more can you ask for when all of Houston and surrounding cities were hit hard. I tell you I would bet my money on Nick’s because I know they are proud of the work they do and it’s a company you can trust. They are not a company chasing money they are building customer relationships.

Called on Saturday around 11 am and they were onsite within an hour to help get our domestic pumps up and running for 200+ apartments homes. Fantastic service, communication and personnel. Pricing was very reasonable too.

I called late in the day regarding a plumbing emergency in our building and they had someone over to our location within 20 minutes. Truly amazing! The techs went to work immediately and resolved the problem very quickly. This company is definitely my go to plumbers and I would highly recommend them.

I placed a call to Nick's Plumbing when my kitchen sink was clogged. They were able to send a person within an hour. They snaked the pipe and removed the clog but charged a very steep $225 service charge, which I thought was outrageous. However, the person is very knowledgeable and explained the issue and gave the cost upfront (which I really appreciate). So in summary, Expensive but effective service.

I’ve used Nick's for both AC and plumbing. They’ve always been very accommodating with scheduling and completed the work professionally and at a high quality level. Would recommend to anyone needing there services.

Nick's Plumbing did a great job for a higher price point for what I expected. The flange replacement was a welded brass for a new welded brass. It was completed in a hour time. The two technicians were helpful and informative. They cleaned up although they missed the walls where they touched with dirty hands (dark wall color so they didn't notice) so just something they need to be more careful of in the future.

Ron came out after Harvey and did a great job saving my water heater after the heater's pan was flooded.He came out the same day I called and Nick's doesn't charge for an initial visit & quote, which is a big deal to me.Ron was professional and personable.All in all, I was very satisfied and will call them first next time.

Came more quickly than promised, were quick to find problem, didn't pressure me into more expensive repairs. Did advise that more expensive repairs were more likely to fix problem. Final invoice was for quoted price.Only downside was that they told me it would take them 30 minutes to return with parts, but it took them 2 h. Not ideal.Generally, a very good experience, and I would happily use their services again.

We had a Thursday at 4:30 p.m. office back up disaster. My regular plumber was unable to come out, so I call Nick's. They sent a technician over within an hour. He assessed the issue, but since it was late, said he would come back the next day in the morning. He did exactly that. They resolved the problem and further trouble-shooted some things. It was a little expensive, but the service, knowledgeable and friendly technician were all worthwile.

Had a leak in upstairs shower, called two companies...first one looked at my shower and declared shower pan cracked, repair bill all in close to $5000(includes demo, and new tile etc.) Nicks came out ran the water(first one did not even run the water, the wife had to ask him to) took a look at piping downstairs where ceiling was damp and it was a gasket and a strainer $405 (they give a veterans discount) So for plumbing issues I will now always call Nicks. Their plumbers were very professional and did not waste time.

Our technician Ronnie showed up on time and was able to get right to work. I was very impressed by his expertise and knowledge he was able to inform us of some needed repairs on our system as well as let us know that we can finance the system aswell. Being first time homebuyers we can't catch everything but it was assuring that an expert came out and was able to assess our unit and tell us if it would be manageable for the summer.

Customer service was great, but really disappointed they would take advantage of a customer with their pricing. They did well on their base services (camera services and high-pressure cleaning for our outdoor drain system). I should have stopped there. We found a broken sump pump we were previously unaware of, and they sold me on letting them fix it instead of using my trusted irrigation company.Their team said they could replace it for ~$2,500, which included $500-$600 of labor. After doing the work and paying them, I requested the specs for the pump. I called the distributor to get prices on the exact model just for peace of mind, The pump they installed was $375 before incremental shipping of $30.When I called their office manager to voice my concern, he said they actually paid ~$750 for the pump. I feel a service provider has a responsibility to seek the best deal for their customers and not just pass on unnecessary costs. Clearly paying almost double for equipment is not being responsible. But more importantly, they misled me by charging $2,500 after quoting ~$550 for labor and then installing a ~$750 pump. I’m all for a company making a profit. They absolutely should. But the profit is built into their labor rates (which were discussed) and a reasonable markup on equipment. This was not a reasonable markup. I was under the impression this was going to be a high-end sump pump.In hindsight, the signs of a bad deal were there. They were salivating to get me to sign an agreement for that “all-in” price. I expected to forge a long-term relationship. And I would have had I stopped after their base services. Instead, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The best service providers advise their customers properly while still making a reasonable profit. This team clearly did not operate like that. Because of this, I’m highly concerned they will take advantage of future customers - especially the unassuming, aged population.**Updated based on response from owner**You are incorrect. I do not have buyer’s remorse for the project overall. I was definitively going to fix the pump once it was determined to be down. I do have remorse using Nick’s Plumbing as the service provider though. The pump replacement could have easily been done by my trusted irrigation company for much less. I even said that’s who I was going to contact next. I shouldn’t have listened to your sales reps who intervened. I simply want to make future customers aware they should shop around before blindly using Nick’s.Also, Nick’s was not the third company to work on the system. And while I wanted the issue resolved, as any homeowner would, I in no way implied I had to get it resolved the next day. The Zoeller distributer I called asked me that day if I wanted to order directly from them. They said it would be shipped in 3-5 days. Nick’s easily could have saved me money and still made an exorbitant profit.I’m fine with your rebuttal, but don’t skew the facts. You were more interested in locking in a huge profit, and you did not put the customer’s interest first. Also, your response failed to address the ridiculous profit built into your “all-in” quote. The presumption was this would be a high end pump. It wasn’t. The technical term for this is profiteering. Not illegal. But it’s definitely unethical. Keep enjoying the predatory pricing practices at the expense of your customers. I choose to sleep with a clear conscience at night.

The plumber, Ron, came same day as requested and changed out the water heater. He called before coming to give me an estimate and there were only a couple of things added to install the heater. I liked that Nick's Plumbing sent an email and text with a photo of Ron. My only problem was that I had already gotten up the water from the leaked water heater and when they left there was more water for me to clean up in the garage. I think they should have vacuum the water before leaving, especially since it was their fault that the water heater leaked while they were removing it.

In the middle of the February 2021 Arctic Blast, we suffered some burst water lines. I called for help in the morning, and Nick’s called back shortly to confirm an appointment the following day. Joe Humphrey came out as promised and got right to it. The job turned into a convoluted challenge because the leaks ended up to be inside walls in hard to reach places. Joe stuck with it and had to secure additional materials which were scarce. He worked the better part of three days to make it happen for us, and the system held firm when he pressured up. These were tough times, but Joe was wonderful and we are quite happy to have everything all squared away.

Called Nick's to come fix a busted water pipe that was leaking... they came out and looked at it and said they would come back later. Then, they pretty much ghosted and gave me the run around. If they couldn't handle the job, they should have told me. It took me another day to finally get another plumber to come out and fix the problem. Avoid! Customer Experience was awful.

Contacted them late Friday night. They gave me a 10 o’clock am next-day appt. On time, professional, excellent customer service and very courteous. More expensive than some others, but this is the second time I have called them and there is something to be said for consistent, dependable quality work. These guys know what they are doing. They are the Starbucks of plumbing. Highly recommend.

Nick’s Plumbing was professional all the way. We have an old house and along with it comes old house plumbing problems. Eric showed professionalism and great knowledge and persistence to resolve our plumbing issue. For a minute we thought it would be a bigger issue which means more $$ down the drain but Nicks came through and quickly. We had a huge party set up for the weekend and our plumbing was able to handle all the usage after all their trouble shooting. Will definitely be using Nicks again and big shout out to Eric for his determination.

We had a leak on a 15 year old water heater on a late Friday afternoon. Another plumber had already come out and gave us a quote to replace it. We called Nicks and within an hour Josue Omana came to assess the situation, provided a quote that was almost half of the other and guaranteed he personally would come out to do the job the next morning. Josue arrived promptly at 8 am on Saturday morning with everything he needed to replace the tank and install new valves. We live in a condo building so needed the job done fast to get the water back on for our neighbors. He and his associate were prompt, incorporated our feedback and charged us the quoted price. Josie has been a plumber for 15 years and you can tell he’s very knowledgeable and very honest.

Ok my first experience was very good. It’s hard to find good plumbers but thankfully Zach from Nick’s struck me as very honest and very transparent. He went to great lengths to explain all the possible charges before hand, was very personable, and clearly is an expert. He understood the details of codes, good construction practices and was a good problem solver. He was also very neat and took the time to explain preventative actions we could take to minimize future problems. The only downside is Nick’s rates are pretty high. Nevertheless they will get my next call.

I called on Nick’s in the middle of a construction project for a new sewer line when my contractor had forgotten about the request. It needed to be completed before concrete was poured so they had four days notice. They were out the next morning handling to job professionally and without a single hiccup. I got a water heater not working. The plumber came and charged me $629 just to fix it given the poor quality of the repair, 3 days later I had a major water leak all over my house.I had to get another company to fix it. The second company found out that Nick's plumber had done a really bad quality job. The second company replaced the water heater for less than half the price that Nick's had quoted me for the option of replacing instead of repairing the heater.I would totally avoid Nick's. Not only bad job but also suuuper expensive.

The quality of work was good but the prices were horrible. I got a toilet flange replaced and unfortunately did not compair prices until after the work was completed. Nick's was 3X the cost of other plumbers (3 other quotes in the same neighborhood). I've used nick's for gas plumbing and they were a little expensive but livable. Based on their higher than normal prices, I will probably not go back to nick's and would recommend people not to as well.Edit based on Response: The technician did come out for a free estimate and he personally was great. The estimate included a guess at the flange problem and he would have no idea until he pulled the toilet (which is a standard $385 just to pull the toilet to check to see what's wrong and then re-set the toilet). He also gave the flange repair cost in the estimate (that was his guess at what was wrong) BEFORE he found any additional issues or irregularities with the piping. The price did not change from the estimate once he pulled the toilet and began working on the flange.TLDR: Price was high from the get go and didnt change once work began.

The techs showed up in the appointed time-frame, diagnosed the problem I called about, suggested a routine maintenance for my tankless water heater, and made an adjustment on the water heater which has made a lovely improvement in hot water delivery. Called at 8AM today (day after Labor Day) and got an appointment confirmed between 9-11 AM. I immediately received a text confirming the appointment and received another text about 30 minutes before arrival. The plumber, Charlie, was very helpful and professional. Although not requested by me, he entered my house with shoe covers. Nice unexpected touch.He quickly addressed the clogged sink drain. I consulted him for advice to prevent future clogs related to algae in sink drain tied to AC drainage line, and he shared helpful information and left me with a free bottle of algaecide for monthly preventative maintenance to keep the plumbing clear. I would highly recommend Nick’s plumbing!

Initially we had a Saturday morning slot but they were tied up and had to reschedule. Though a bit inconvenient, once Joseph arrived, all was well! He was personable and professional! The lead guys seemed very knowledgeable but he had a major problem with a leak under the sink. He came out probably 3 times. I suggested I buy another faucet and stopper? but that didn't seem to be the problem. We are waiting to see if the leak has been resolved.Very friendly and professional person.

If I could rate a minus star I WOULD! Got the number out of the penny saver- called- NICK ANSWERED! He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and a JERK. I called Saturday afternoon to ask if he could come to my house for a quote because my kitchen sink was flooding my kitchen. I figured because his ad said NO JOB TOO SMALL I would get some great customer service. I was WRONG. He rudely and unprofessionally asked Lets get this straight, you want me to come out on a Saturday and provide you with a free estimate to POSSIBLY fix your problem? Maybe you should call someone else. He then proceeded to hang up on me. So I did exactly that and called a reputable plumbing company. They instantly gave me a quote and scheduled someone to stop by within the hour who provided a free estimate. Not only did I get what I want from someone else, they provided me with the exceptional customer service a customer deserves! Save your time and money, and DON'T CALL NICK! Unless of course you want to be disrespected and treated poorly.

We called Nick's Plumbing because we smelled gas under our cooktop. Gilbert was out technician and quickly assessed the source of the issue. He also found an additional issue with our cooktop, which was due for replacement anyway. Gilbert was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and clearly explain the issues, type of repairs required, and cost estimates, which were reasonable. I think we found a new plumber!

Zack and Jorge did an excellent job installing
a gas line and water heater to my home. Zack and jorge were very informative ,professional and most of all patient with my question and making sure everything was done to my liking. Good job, these guys are my new go to Plummers.

The service men were very courteous. However, 90 minutes after they replaced our hot water heater we discovered the smell of natural gas in the home. They hadn’t fully closed something and left the gas to leak into our attic. We had to quickly leave the home and only received a small apology after the repair man came back. We’re thankful our only extra expense of the day was buying lunch out for our family of 5 when the effects of a careless mistake could have been disastrous. I first submitted this review directly to the company and have heard nothing back. They’re also still supposed to be coming back to bring a drop tray and we’ve heard nothing.

Nick's plumber was courteous, prompt and did good work. I'm not giving five stars due to the cost, which was over $650 for a little over two hours of work (I supplied the parts). They charged $225 for a task that took no more than 20 minutes. That could be standard for plumbers, but seems very excessive to me.

I may update my review after the repair is complete but here is my experience so far. I paid 189 USD for replacing 2 hoses beneath the bathroom sink faucet and the hot water is still not flowing. I explained to the plumber beforehand that the plastic particles are stuck inside the metal tube of the faucet assembly but he did this hose replacement anyway - I trusted his expertise. Now they are offering 400 USD faucet replacement by subtracting the cost of this hose replacement. I would have done this faucet replacement myself if I knew their quotes upfront. I waited for more than 4 hours for them to come today and had to reschedule after waiting the first 2-hour window, when they failed to show up. Not sure why this a Google trusted company.

The winter storm of 2021, what I call Snow-VID (Winter-COVID) was devastating for so many across the state.When the plumber from Nick's arrived on the scene his professionalism and calm helped me get through the situation. There was not one copper pipe leak, but two. The tech completed the work quickly and shortly after he left I had one of the most glorious showers in years!

We were very please with going with Nick's plumbing. Leo was super nice and obviously very qualified in what he was doing. We had a stubborn drain problem in one of our bathrooms and Leo figured it out in no time!The young man that come the day before (I don't remember his name-sorry) diagnosed the problem but needed more equipment to take care of it. Needed help with an apartment toilet that tenant had dropped a small hand cream bottle into. Response was within hours of call to plumber on site. Attempt to remove with toilet auger actually destroyed the auger. Time was late so scheduled to come next day. They showed up following day with a purchased toilet in case second attempt with auger didn't work. This attempt succeeded. I was billed the original quote from the day before. The workers were courteous, neat and professional. The company communication was through text, phone and email so I knew exactly what was happening. I would recommend this company.

On a Friday, we scheduled someone from Nick's to come out the following Tuesday during a 8-9 am slot for an inspection. At 9:15 on Tuesday, we still had not seen anyone, so I called Nick's to get an estimate of when someone would show up. The woman that answered said that there was not record of any appoint. While she did offer me a 9-12 slot for the same day, she did not once say she was sorry about the inconvenience, did not seem phased that somehow my appointment had never been recorded, and did not seem to understand that I could not just wait around for 3 more hours for someone to possibly show-up. I would not have scheduled a 8-9 slot if I had time to wait around for 3 hours in the middle of the day. I should have heeded the warnings from the other reviews about Nick's always no-showing. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't have time for a place that cannot even schedule an appointment without messing up.

We had pipes break during the winter storm of 2021. Eric, from Nick's came out promptly and found the 5 breaks immediately. He had to cut a hole in the ceiling over my bathtub and tub was overflowing with insulation and sheetrockas he worked After he left I went up to clean up and the tub was PRISTINE....clean enough to bathe in....literally!! So professional, polite, adept and responsive to our needs. He installed PEX pipe and explained the differences in the types of PEX and what to watch out for.....We will use Nicks from now on for all of our plumbing needs, feel confident that we are in good hands and I will recommend them to our friends.

I discovered a water leak on my side of the water meter which was actually on my neighbor’s property. Nick’s were there promptly after I called and fixed it the very next day. They made sure no lines were damaged on my neighbor’s property and left their back yard in the same condition they found it. Steve Phaly was our technician and he was extremely helpful and kind. I had an appointment for a free estimate, 12-2 pm. The one star is because I did get a call they were running late, be here by 3 pm. Never showed. Stay away from this company. If they can't be honest about appointments to give estimates, imagine what the bill vs. estimate would be.

Contracted with Nick's Plumbing to repipe our recently purchased home with PEX and to install a tankless water heater. The end result is that we have a solid system installed that will serve our needs well. It wasn't without it's challenges and that's why I gave four stars instead of five.After the first day, I was in contact with their office and they listened to the issues I brought up and they did not dismiss them. The crew working in my home needs some coaching (not a lot, just some). In the end, Nick's made the situation right and I greatly appreciate how they dealt with the things. We are somewhat new to Houston and chose Nick's solely based on their Google reviews.I believe my issues are not the norm for how they operate. This is based on the response I received from their office and all of their positive reviews. Unfortunately, things sometime do go wrong, it's a fact of life. It's how they are dealt with that matters. Nick's dealt with things positively.

Had an issue with only cold water coming out of the shower. They came out and addressed the issue, warm and cool water come from the shower. Satisfied with the service provided.The issue I have now is the shower handle that was removed to get access to the temperature adjustor is now very loose. Is this a defective shower handle or the plumber did not tightened the handle properly?

Had a leaking fitting on the cold water supply line to my shower. First company I called came out yesterday and tried very hard to upsell a whole house Pex installation. Said it made sense with my house being 65 years old. I declined and certainly wasn't prepared to pay that much money right now. Called Nick's and they came out this morning (11-5-20). Technician Gilbert was prompt, examined the whole pipe that was leaking and came up with a simple Pex replacement. Not once did he try to pitch the whole house, indeed, he only responded when I asked about it. He gave me a ballpark estimate but said despite the age of my house and some calcification within pipes, the current installation was sound and was done right. Saw no evidence of pitting. That said, his repair was outstanding and looked very tidy and professional. Will call them again when This Old House has another plumbing issue.

For comparable parts and services they were significantly more than anyone else in the area.The first time I used them the tech came out to look at a leak was on time, nice, professional, and provided suggestions free of charge and we were able to fix it ourselves. I didn't hesitate to use them again.The second time was for a hot water heater issue. They charged over $600 to replace a part and took about 1.5 hours to replace it. I looked later and the replacement part only cost about $80. Approximately $500 in labor for 1.5 hours?The third time I used them the previous part quit working 6 weeks after it was installed. They quoted $2200-$2800 to replace the hot water heater, we complained and they dropped that to $1850 (which was still $350-$450 above everyone else for the same unit).The second two times we used them the technician was pretty late each time, and the revised quote came 2 hours after I had already been able to get a quote from several other companies, schedule a technician and actually have the unit installed.I probably would've originally paid the $1850 if that had been the initial price - good guys, good work ok to pay a little more - but the first quote was so high and the previous part & labor was so expensive. We really felt like we were being gouged and are pretty disappointed.

Used Nick's plumbing for the 2nd time. First time was a small job. This time I had leaky pipe in the wall. Ended up being poor installation of water softener with PVC pipe / cheap connectors. Nick's technician said PVC and copper normally should not be used together so recommended copper pipe replacement to match what was already in the house and I would likely continue to have problems with the PVC.Work appears very good. Text alerts were good. Professionalism was good as well. The technician even arrived early. I cannot give more stars because of pricing methodology. I thought the technician was giving me an estimate when he told me how much going with copper pipes would cost since he said he would have to go buy the products and the amount of time to replace it was not yet known. And I assumed that copper pipe was much more expensive -- my searches since then indicate it is more expensive but not as much I assumed.20 ft of copper pipe + 2 hours of work/getting supplies = $1400. And they ended up having to connect copper to PVC in the end because they could not replace the softener connections but at least it is outside the house where those two meet.The home office confirmed that pricing is by the project before they start. There is no breakdown of costs on the invoice to show labor and parts. I do not use plumbers much for repairs so this may be standard practice. However, since I was unfamiliar with this practice, I wanted to share. The work appears to be good quality though.

I had scheduled a plumber to come out to fix my faucet and was given a window from 1-3pm. At 2:45pm I called to check to see if I was still on the books. I was told I was next in line and the technician would be there within the hour. An hour and a half later still no technician, so I called again and was told I was still next in line and someone would be there soon. When I asked what soon meant they had the technician call me and was told it would still be another hour at the earliest. So three hours past the window and if I hadn’t called I would have had no idea the technician was running late. I booked my afternoon off of work in order to accomodate the window I was given. I ended up cancelling the service and scheduling another company. I do understand that things come up but would have appreciated a heads up that the technician was running late.

I had Nic’s come out and fix a leaking faucet and toliet pump. The guys were very nice and professional. The faucet cost $325 to replace two cartridges. They simply screwed into the faucet base. The toilet fix was $310 and took the guys 20 minutes. When I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor the service tech said he didn’t know as he picked up the part at the shop. All toll they were in and out in 20 minutes. I feel the cost was outrageous for what it took to fix the problems. I called the office snd they would not provide a breakdown either.

The company was able to get a plumber out to my house the same day I called them and they unclogged my tub and sink onsite. The plumber explained the issue I was having with the garbage disposal and how to prevent it from happening again. They were very professional too. Perfect!

Called because of water coming from my attic in one of my buildings. Turned out to be a clogged primary drain and no shutoff on the pan. I had the tec check the other 3 units on the property. He found the same problem on another unit and fixed it before it caused potentially major damage to drywall and flooring.

Very nice and thorough. Clean work and good explanation of the issue. Only complaint would be a need for better communication if they are running late. I shouldn’t have to be the one contacting the tech to see where he is when I am scheduled for an appointment start between 2-3 pm (left work early) to meet them at my house. Didn’t arrive until 5:45 pm. 2.5 hours late is a little upsetting.

The plumbers explained exactly what they wanted to do... how long it should take and what it would cost before work commenced. They fixed the line break and left a clean and tidy work area. Electronic invoicing.I expect that there are less expensive plumbers in Houston. But Nicks is reliable, fast, and efficient.

Water heater died on Thanksgiving. I called Friday morning for an estimate and they were there that afternoon. They confirmed that it need to be replaced and were there first thing on Saturday morning to do the job. Willie was on time, professional & the whole experience was very easy. I recommend them.

Literally A + customer service! I was blown away by the level of service. Everything from start to finish was flawless. I called Nick's Plumbing after receiving an initial bid to replace my drainage and sewage pipes from a competitor assigned by my homeowners's insurance plan. They (Ron) came out, assessed, offered an initial bid. MATCHED the first bid, and once the work began it was as if they were taking care of their own house. While there was a lot of work it was organized and clean communication to me as the homeowner was top notch and I knew what was going on during each phase of the project. Once the job was completed and after it was known that some of my grass would be destroyed on the lawn the grass was replaced he team came back after the job was completed and after I had left town to ensure that the new grass was watered. I would recommend this team to anyone!

I had a plumber that did most of my project then left town without getting the needed permit and inspection. I called Nick's yesterday, they arrived when they said they would today. Evaluated the situation and completed the work. Obtained permit and scheduled city inspector for tomorrow. Wonderful!

Josh & Eugene were amazing! Eugene came out and walked through our new home to go over our inspection report and helped us determine what needed to be fixed. They replaced our water heater at our new home and in the process figured out we had a gas leak. We were able to get centerpoint out to fix that and the guys were kind enough to communicate the issue with centerpoint. On top of all that, the home we're renting had a water main leak outside and they were able to come over after a full days work at our new home to fix the leak and replace the broken shut-off valve. I signed a service agreement with Nick's Plumbing, and they never contacted me back about service. Additionally, I called (spoke to reception) and separately filled out a contact form about performing additional installations. I was never contacted back on either. For some reason they just don't like business. I cannot get them to take my money.

I would like to change my rating for Nick’s Plumbing. John, the operations manager, was quick to respond to our concerns and addressed the situation in a very timely and professional manner. I’ve always had above average service with Nick’s Plumbing and I truly believe our experience was isolated.

Called to schedule a drain clear out for our 3rd floor master bathroom. When talking about price we were told they are offering a $99 drain clean out special that we can use. So we booked an appointment window from 4-6pm. 6pm came and went and we had to call to find out where our plumber was who showed up at 6:30pm. When we showed him the sink we were told it would be $375. We told him no we were told on phone and chat that there were no exclusions for the $99 special. Plumber said there was nothing he can do and to talk to John about it the next day. I left a message with their chat service for John to reach out and discuss the issue, I was told would be reached out around 7am when they open. Yet again 7am came and went and we called out to Nick’s plumbing to discuss with John. John stated the special only applies to 1st floor drains only and he would take this as a learning moment for his staff....so essentially if you want to take the time to get a quote for service, wait 2.5 hours for scheduled service window, get told repair amount is 4 times the over the phone quote, and further delay your repair a day in search of a honest plumbing company then this company is for you.In response to Nick’s reply: That is exactly a bait and switch. Simply adding ground level only to the special would of prevented this but it was deliberately setup that way for instances such as mine. I didn’t schedule a free estimate, I scheduled a $99 drain clearing service that I didn’t receive. No miscommunication occurred, I was told no exclusions for the special and that was that. Just wanting to share my factual experience that way others can be spared.

This was first time using Nick’s Plumbing Services. They were very professional and left house as clean as when they arrived. Bathtub drain was not draining due to problem with older piping. They were able to fix without tunneling under house. I would recommend.

My mom stated that our plumber Anthony Piazza was really professional and quick with his work (toilet wax ring replacement, it took like 20 min)! Our bill was also a lot less expensive than we were expecting!

Luis and his assistant did a great job resolving and fixing the water heater issue. He discovered I received a defective gas control valve after having to come to my house twice to work on my heater.Luis installed a gas control valve that I received from Rheem. He was not able to get a spark with the part. He got on the phone with Rheem and explained to them the problem. Another part was sent sent to me from Rheem. The next day, Friday, July 31, he came out again and installed the part and the water heater still did not work.He was concerned about me being without heated water for several days because of the time it would take for me to get yet another part from Rheem. He went to another plumbing company and bought another gas control valve and came back and installed it on my water heater and now my water heater is working again.I appreciate all of their care, dedication, knowledge, concern for my welfare, and their persistence in doing everything they could to get my water heater working again. Thanks again guys! I so appreciate it!

Josh Baker, with Nick’s Plumbing, has now cleared three clogged drains in rental property I own. The first was an AC standpipe that four other plumbers couldn’t clear. They wanted to reroute the pipe at great expense. Today, Josh cleared two laundry drains that two previous plumbers couldn’t clear. It took a while, but he did it! Josh is very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and he leaves everything very clean. I will definitely use him in the future!

I had a leak in my home in the hot water pipe. I called Nick's plumbing and was told someone could come to my home between 12:00pm and 2:00 pm to give me and estimate and if needed repair. I waited until 2:20 and called the company and was told that the tech assigned to my call had taken lunch and would probably would arrive in the next 30 minutes. He didn't arrive till 3:45 gave me the estimate and did the work. No apology was issued I think this is just bad customer service.
