Neighbors... If you have ANY plumbing issues whatsoever, you need to call Loren at Halo Services! Super honest, extremely responsive and very professional. The details below if you're interested!Our hot water stopped working on Tuesday afternoon. I briefly troubleshooted it and couldn't get the pilot on the 5-yr old hot water tank to stay on. My youtube research seemed to point to the controller being the issue. I'm pretty handy, but seeing how this dealt with natural gas, I figured better to call the pros. I called Abacus on Tuesday, because that's who we always hear about on TV... They managed to squeeze me in for later that afternoon. The technician came, tried to light the pilot TWICE, came down from the attic and told me I needed a new Hot water tank for a multitude of different reason and that it would be $2,500-$3,000. He advised me that replacing any parts would just add cost and that we would need to replace parts and by trial and error, determine the fix, so slowly we would work our way to a new tank anyways... so may as well just replace it. Full transparency, the cheapest option that he offered me was a $600 controller replacement. Those guys don't repair anything, they're just parts salesmen! I politely told him I wasn't interested and escorted him out.That evening I googled plumbing services and came across Halo Services on Google... I called, left a VM, then also texted (as instructed in the VM message). I promptly got a response from Loren. We spoke on the phone for about 10-15mins while he asked probing questions to try and pinpoint the issue. On Wednesday he made some time in his schedule to come by and take a look at the hot water tank. He troubleshooted for about 15-20mins or so and determined it may be the controller or maybe the burner. But more importantly, he let me know my tank was still under warranty! I called the manufacturer and told them what Loren told me and that the controller would need to be replaced. They honored the warranty and told me where they had a distributor close to my house to go pick up the new part that afternoon. Loren swung by on Thursday morning and in just about an hour, replaced the faulty controller and we were good to go!! Hot water again!Loren was on point with the issue and thanks to him letting me know about the warranty, the entire fix only cost us $150! So Abacus: a disengaged technician and $600 repair MINIUMUM, but fear sale tactic recommending a $3,000 fix… or HALO SERVICES: a genuine honest business owner, a warranty covered part and a prompt repair for $150… Great to know there are companies out there that are looking to grow by doing the right thing and providing top-notch service!!Loyal customer gained!

Had a clogged A/C condensate line that was backing up at my in-laws. Call these guys up and they came out the next morning and had it cleared in under an hour. This is the second time that I've used them and they are respectable and their prices are reasonable.

We've been using Abacus for a couple of years to maintain our heating and AC units. They diagnosed and fixed a couple of unsolvable issues that arose from another company's work and we will be sticking with them for the long term. Always reliable, courteous and professional. It's been hard to find good contractors in this area and Abacus is a winner.Recently I wasn't able to contact our usual plumber so decided to give Abacus a try. Another very professional experience. It was easy to schedule the appointment, the technician arrived as scheduled with advance notice and was very courteous. He was able to diagnose the issue and recommend and price a solution promptly. His work is excellent.

SERVICE TECHNICIANS,RENNY AND TOMAS, CAME TO MY HOME LAST WEEK TO REPLACE A GAS LINE TO OUR GARAGE APARTMENT. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. THEY WORKED QUIETLY AND ALMOST WITHOUT ANY BREAKS. FINISHED IN ONLY 5 HOURS. WHEN THEY LEFT, THE AREA WAS TOTALLY CLEANED UP. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TDT FOR PLUMBING REPAIRS.

I wanted to switch back to a gas stove, but was worrried about the capped gas line and hook up. M&M came out, checked the line and then hooked up my new stove and even re-lit my water heater pilot light when done. They didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need and did great work at a reasonable price. Solid friendly folks!

Called and spoke to Gilbert. I knew it was just a clogged drain. I asked price. Even asked for “ballpark” estimate. He refused to give price and said it they would have to see when they got here. I thought great- they will be fair and charge for their time unlike other places that have set prices even when the job is easy. They Sent out Tony (who was amazing and extremely nice). Tony unscrewed pipe (used my pan for the water and my towels) and I even helped empty the water. It took less than 15 mins. When Tony called Gilbert for the price to charge... $192 dollars. Robbery!!! When I complained he went down to $172. I was stuck. So I paid it. The work had been done. It’s wasn’t Tony’s fault. I called and told Gilbert that I wasn’t pleased. Of course he had nothing to say. No plumber is worth $750 an hour!! I could have called a big company that would have come out for $85 dollars but I wanted to support a small minority owned business. Double the price is outrageous. The two good points ( and why they get one star). They came the same day and Tony was a really nice guy.

Wes came out for an urgent situation! He was here in a flash, did what needed to be done and made us laugh in the process!! Extremely fair on pricing!! You won’t be disappointed when you call In The Loop Plumbing!!

I've decided to get a second opinion on a plumbing job that was offered to me by another company earlier this week. Not only did this company offer a better price, but they also performed much of the service the same day. DYZ Plumbing provided excellent service, They responded to my request within a couple of hours. Yence (not sure of the spelling), the plumber, was outstanding. He explained everything he was doing to check on the old garbage disposal, and install the new one. Highly recommend this company. Thank you, Yence!!!

Awesome company to hire for HVAC issues. Jay was very professional and patient in explaining our issues. He taught us how to program our thermostats to avoid future issues. He sent the invoice for our service exactly when he said he was going to. We would definitely hire them again!
