Jesse, Craig, Debbie and the entire crew! I can't say enough about this company they are fantastic! They delivered a competitive quote and completed the roof replacement on schedule and with a professional, courteous crew.

KY-KO did a good job for a fair price and the workers were very conscientious.

Lyons went above and beyond our expectations. The whole process was painless. The quality of work is excellent. Their people keep you informed every step of the way. A special shout out to Scott (project supervisor), Jorge and Alesio. Could not be happier.

Cons:
The estimator was 4 hours late.
The paper estimate didn't come until I harassed them for a copy.
The repair was rescheduled twice. (Emergencies kept bumping my appointment even though I was scheduled?)
The repair guys laid in the middle of my driveway while they waited for more parts to be delivered.
There wasn't any communication at all from the business's end. I only found out of the rescheduling, payment options, estimate copies, etc because I called each time. (No proactive measures were taken)
I was talking to my S/O and used the phrase I feel like I'm begging them to take my money & do the work...

Pros:
The price. They came in well under-budget and blew away four other estimates, once by well over a grand.
The repairs were done quickly and efficiently.
Invoice/payment was all online and simple to complete.
Electronic/PDF documents (estimate and receipt) via email.
I assume that the quality is pretty good (there are no more birds on my roof, there aren't any leaks and the plywood looks new).
No dust, debris or mess was left - it was all cleaned up as promised.

Overall:
If you have the time and energy to be your own advocate with this company, I say go for it. If you're out of town or unable to manage the procedural aspect that will be required of you to actually start the process, I'd recommend checking a few other places out.

This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The cost was not the lowest nor the highest. The communication from JR was spot on and the job was completed on time and within scope. Well done Stonecreek.

Almeida Roofing is the most amazing roofing company I have ever came across while living in Phoenix. First of all their secretary Melissa is so polite and helpful and was always quick to return my emails. Kevin came and estimated my roof and didn't try to bullshit me into stuff I didn't need he was fair and honest.

What an impressive company and crew of workers. Saturday they came on time and started the tear down of the old roof. Then removed and replaced all the rotten wood. By 4:30 the same day I had a new roof.
I'm sure that it is not normal to do a roof in one day like this but I was in a predicament and they stepped up sending lots of extra men out to make sure that I was take care of. They really went above and beyond my expectations.
I wound not hesitate to refer this company in the future.

Jack Core (owner of Phoenix roofing) and Luis (project manager) just completed my underlay replacement for my tile roof. They were both very easy to work with. We have a one year old girl and they even managed to work around her room during her sleeping hours. They sent progress photos each day which is above and beyond your typical service. They started on time and finished early, I would recommend Phoenix roofing and remodeling to any family or friend looking to have their roof redone or repaired. I had a few estimates before committing and I can also say that their prices are extremely fair. They were meticulous with details and even painted the replacement drip trim with a color match paint prior to replacement. Thanks again guys!

This company is, without a doubt, one of the best businesses my husband and I have ever dealt with. I thought for sure that getting a new roof (with solar panels on existing roof) was going to be a headache - Kris, the Senior Project Manager, made this entire process seamless. From Kris, who was always available and responsive by phone, to Sergio and his roofing crew, to Mike and his solar panel crew, the entire process was done with competence, integrity and respectfulness. We give this company and its crew a 5 star rating for sure.

I recently had my roof replaced by Hardracker Roofing and I love it! Clyde was very easy to work with and gave me great service and a great price. His roofers were respectful of my dogs and property and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company! Great people to do business with!

Update: Vertex can make any excuses they want. I will only be in my house for another ten years and what was important to me was the color. I wanted a SILVER roof and I got a DARK GRAY roof. Not only that, no one bothered to give me a heads up on the color switch. I only found out after seeing it once it was installed, which is very unprofessional and deceptive (no chance to say no). It might have happened in 2018, but it makes me unhappy every time I look at it. :-(

You can also tell a lot about the company from their response. We are sorry to see this review followed by a long discourse on why the customer is wrong, is not a good response. A good company would have responded that they are sorry to see that I am still disappointed in their service/product and is there anything more they can do?

I have had many customer service issues and was very disappointed with Vertex Roofing!! They are horrible at returning emails/phone calls and keeping customers updated.

I ended up with a color roof that I did not select!!! I was told they no longer had the color I chose, but instead of coming back and asking me, they chose another color for me on their own. It is supposedly a higher grade material, but I am still disappointed. **Update due to this darker color I have not seen any energy savings.**

Here are some of the other issues:

--After I signed the contract I received an email that said that I would be notified when my materials came in, which I was not.

--When I developed a leak around the ceiling fan in my dining room in August, it took me two phone calls and two emails to get a response. I was just told August 14th that I would be up the end of the next week or the beginning of the following. The Production Manager said that he would be out to look at the job site, which to my knowledge never occurred.

--The next few weeks were very stressful as it was raining almost every day and I was worried about more leaking. I finally called on the 23rd to see if I could get an update, since no one had been out and I didn't even know if all my materials were in.

-- Production Manager called Friday 24th to say a crew would be out early Monday and he would email me the specifics. I never received an email.

--The crew did a good job and worked around the dogs by not going in the back yard. However, Thursday when they left they said they would be returning the next day. I work from home, so I moved a few meetings from Friday morning to Tuesday morning in case of noise. No one showed up or called until around 1 pm, the Production Manager called to say they would be back Saturday morning to finish.

--Finished as promised Saturday, but I had a standing volunteer engagement and was not here when they left. I was expecting to be left care instructions/warranty information, which I never received.

--One last customer service oddity was that no one in the company that I tried to contact who has a cell phone had their voice mail set up with a message confirming their name and that they are a Vertex Roofing employee. The generic you have reached #, did not fill me with confidence that I even had the right number.

All of these issues were addressed with an apology and 1.25% discount off the price, which is not a lot, but I just wanted to be done with all the hassle.

Unfortunately, there is a part II to the saga. I never received a final receipt from the last payment (made over the phone) or the warranty information that was supposed to come from the manufacturer. I also did not approve my two raised air roof vents and whirlybird to be removed from my roof.

In fact part of the sales pitch was for an extra fee I could get a raised roof line with increased air vents all along the top to save energy. I did not have the additional money for that, but the sales representative thought it would be fine with my existing vents.

After a lot of hassle I finally got a blurry electronic copy of warranty information, my receipt, and one whirly bird installed.

Gave Phoenix roofing a call because my roof was in bad shape, they came out the following day and inspected my roof. They informed me of a few issues.
1, hail damage
2, previous roofers installed ridge incorrectly,
3, roof was starting to blister
4, had warped decking.

Thought I would be paying a lot of out of pocket to repair damages. Isiah informed me that my roof could be paid for by my insurance company. Gave Farmers a call and Phoenix roofing took care of the rest. Insurance paid for my roof and the code upgrades to insure no further issues.

Phoenix roofing is a wonder company to work with and great with insurance as they got my roof back to code and the only cost was my deductible which was mostly covered by collateral damages.

Need someone to get the job done right the first time give Phoenix Roofing a call.
