John did an awesome job on putting our wants for a master shower together and urs beautiful. He personally came to check progress daily.
Michael does a great job, with excellent workmanship, knowkedge, courteous and professional. Shane did great too.
The tile people did exceptional work finished, and finally the glass was done with top work too !

Todd Hoyt was our service tech. He was on time, called before he arrived, and completed the needed work in a timely manner. He was efficient and courteous. Nice to have a company that stands behind its work!

This was my first time doing any remodeling job and it went GREAT. I had the kitchen totally redone all the  way to the studs. Every step was explained to me and there were many options. The PRICE DID NOT CHANGE and the service was great.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

We had Re-Bath remodel 2 bathrooms and 1 powder room. I have to say that from start to finish we were impressed with RANDY he was excellent, kind, very informative and kept everything clean at the end of each day. They also have a Production Manager Eric come by to check with us to see how the project was going and if things were running on time. I would highly recommend Sunset Tile & Bath. We had a total remodel of our master bathroom, including new walls, new linen closet, new vanity, new sinks, new faucets, new mirror, new window, new fan, new lights, new toilet, new tiled floor, new everything and most importantly, a new tiled shower. The quality of their workmanship is commercial grade or more. Kevin (project manager) is the best at keeping you informed each day. The project did take a bit longer than the original time estimate, but from my vantage point, I would rather have the job done correctly, then rush through it. Don't think twice.....hire these guys!!

The ceiling of my carport partially broke and fell after a windy storm. It took a little bit to get onto the schedule due to the pandemic, but every interaction i had was professional. They have an online system that is easy to use.

Ross turned our outdated primary suite into a beautiful, functional new space. Our jetted tub from 1990 is now a spacious shower outfitted with gorgeous natural stone. What was once our muted yellow stall shower is now a linen closet with ample storage. Floors, paint, fixtures, and the works - my husband and I absolutely love our new space.

Ross was easy to work with, tidy, and punctual. He took my envisioned design and improved it. Ross is very detail-oriented and thorough — you can tell he puts his heart into what he does.

We would definitely recommend hiring Ross for your home remodel needs!
