Let me start off by saying, I rarely give company reviews. With that said, I can't say enough good things about Holtzman Home Improvement. Holtzman remodeled my kitchen and completed the project in December of 2021.

The work was impeccable and the finished project is AMAZING! Honestly, This is a family owned and operated business that cares about the customers and their work product. That's hard to come by these days. Holtzman is not the cheapest company and However, you get what you pay for.

They have detailed bids and billing, will never try to collect 50% or 75% of project costs up front, and offer premium services and products. I will continue to refer people to Holtzman and sing their song.

If you have an issue regarding warranty work with Brandon and his team is always there. Their warranty is 5 years. I have done multiple projects with Home Home improvement and they always stand by their work no matter what you need. You can definitely count on this company and trust their suggestions to make sure your project is successful.

We love our new Bathroom and Master bedroom remodel just recently completed. We had the tub removed and a large shower installed in it's place. New modern ceramic wood looking tiles and French patio doors in lieu of window. The project did come with some frustrations of additional costs that should have been assessed in the beginning. They utilize a new portal but it needs to include emailing directly from portal. We are not sure everyone knew how to utilize it. We experienced some delays that could have been prevented. Our superintendent, Will Stubblefield, was wonderful, responsive and flexible. He called or text us back timely. He was professional and friendly as were all the workers that came in to do their part of the project. They tried to keep the dust to a minimum. They each cleaned up after themselves.

Holtzman Home Improvement did a great job for us converting our 30yr old Tub and Shower in the Master Bath to a wonderful walk-in shower, tile walls and river-rock floor oasis. Paul came up with a simple but classy design using my basic wants and Keala was great guiding me through the design and choice of materials. Will Stubblefield and the rest of the workers did a great job and kept the jobsite (my house) clean throughout the process. I really appreciate all the work and attention to detail and quality of work that the whole team put into everything...

Holtzman impressed us by there process
When we signed our contract we had a welcome call for the company within 5 days from signing our contract. They went over there 5 steps process with us. We had communication and new all there process and what to expect every step of the way. There custom service department answer all our question. Will our superintendent went over are customer portal with us and the calendar so we new when the trades were coming to our home. There text message feature is great . Holtzman provide the worker that is coming to our home and what trade we can expect that day. There entire process from start to finish was very organized and it’s the best company we every work with. The workers and there finished product is exactly what the rendering they provide to us. We couldn’t be happier with our remodel. Definitely Holtzman is our contractor for life .

I worked with Holtzman Home Improvement on a full remodel. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They are a true on stop shop . Daniel the sale person was detail during the whole sales process. Carline the designer was excellent she bailed every detail . There design renderings match every detail. There trades were exceptional and detailed. We couldn’t have ask for better experience. I’m hesitant to put reviews out there, but I have to say this was an all-time great experience with Holtzman home improvements. All the way from the office staff being very knowledgeable and what they were saying to the construction workers come out out to the house. Their attention to detail is born on the best and I would highly recommend them. Thanks again thank you for all you guys do and your customer service! I will definitely be referring people to you in the future.

Quality work, fair value, fair treatment, and transparency are my key takeaways after Holtzman completed a kitchen remodel and flooring for us. Our project included some interior wall changes, appliance relocation, and reframing for a larger back door. My wife and I shopped 3 different well known general contractors for our job and Holtzman slotted in the middle price estimate wise. We really appreciated that they include a computer sketch of your remodel free with the consultation which the other companies would not do without a deposit. This really helped us gauge if the company had a good grasp on what we were wanting (and they did). The design process was relaxed and we never felt pressured to spend. Communication with our project manager Jaryd was fast and we were pleased with his attention to detail and how he listened to our concerns and needs throughout the process, accommodating our requests to the best of his abilities.
We experienced an atypical circumstance during our project where the person we worked with on our cabinet design ended up leaving the company before our cabinet order was correctly placed. This caused a bit of a handoff fumble as Holtzman completed our demolition thinking the order from the former employee was ready when it actually was not which resulted in a period of time where we had a completely demo'd kitchen and no cabinet delivery. It's important to understand that this is not a regular occurrence and simply an unfortunate coincidence that happened to coincide with our project. The new cabinet designer (Chelsea) was a breeze and got our incomplete order all fixed up and expedited.
I am sharing this slip up despite it's coincidental nature because it showcases this company's ability to make up for some turbulence in a very respectable fashion which ultimately solidifies our trust in them. I was impressed that Holtzman was completely transparent with what happened and did not try to avoid any accountability. Although there was nothing we could do as we had to wait for our correct cabinet order to be produced, the team at Holtzman completed as much of our project as they could until cabinets arrived and positioned themselves for a sprint to the finish once the cabinets were delivered. Once the cabinets came you could really tell they wanted to make up for lost time. Jaryd was extremely helpful by scheduling Cabinet install, flooring, plumbing, tile, and electrical very efficiently and even getting people onsite over the weekend to get everything wrapped up as quickly as possible. The workers on our job were pleasant, skilled, and personable. My wife and are are extremely happy with the quality of work and how everything came out at completion. Time spent in our new kitchen is now a relaxing and serene experience we never want to leave. Afterwards we were reimbursed for excess expenses like furniture storage which we incurred as a direct result of the delay caused by the cabinet order mix up, which I feel like not every company would be willing to do and prefer to instead chalk it up as (well these things happen in construction).
I have complete confidence saying that I would trust this company again for a future project and feel good knowing that they are going to do things correctly and have our best interest in mind. Before and after pics attached.

I used Holtzman's for an addition with paint, cabinetry, counter etc. I was so pleased with my project as well as the company. They have a system /calendar in place so I was able to see what trade would be at my home and when. The designer was great and fun to work with. She helped with all the finishes and it turned out beautiful. We couldn't be happier

Holtzman did a fantastic job with my new kitchen. They delivered exactly what they said they would. My kitchen now looks like it's straight out of a catalogue. Although it took more than expected due to materials being on back-order, I couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome. Thanks to the entire Holtzman team for a great remodel.

We love Holtzmans!! This company is the best, from our salesperson to our designer and our superintendent. This was like no other project we had taken on, you always hear remodels are a nightmare. Not with Holtzmans. They helped with our plans, permits, HOA and made this process easy. They have a calendar that let us know who was coming in our home and when. If we do another project big or small we will use them again. Thank you to the entire Holtzmans staff!!!!

POOR COMMUNICATION!!!! The quality of the work is great, when workers eventually do respond. The company fails tremendously at communicating schedule updates and changes. I have asked from the beginning of the project for a schedule to completion and am lucky if I can get them to commit to 2 consecutive days. I was quoted a 3-4 month project duration and am currently on month 6 with no end in sight. I've gone through 4 job superintendents (5 if you include the owner himself) and have had a very disheartening experience with this remodel. I will never recommend this company!

My bathroom remodel was done during the difficult time of the pandemic when there were supply shortages and workmen shortages. The remodel took longer than anticipated and there were a few glitches along the way. However, I am happy in the long run. Holtzman was very responsive to the issues that occurred and made things right. To me, that is a huge plus for them as a company. Problems and mistakes do happen, but how they are handled is the most important factor.

Although my small bathroom project is complete, I will certainly not use HHI again. I see a lot of great reviews here. Perhaps a larger project would get more skilled tradespeople, a more organized superintendent, and/or better attention to detail.

Pros:
1. The Holtzman team finished the job.
2. The project superintendent responded to text messages and sent trades back to fix various issues.

Cons:
1. The project was poorly managed and the online schedule is wholly unreliable. Most of the time, teams would not show up on the scheduled day. I would not get a notification when appointments were cancelled. I was told that this was a “glitch” in the system, but it was never fixed.
2. When teams did show up, they often did not have the supplies they needed. Items ordered through HHI were not brought with them or dropped off at our house beforehand. A team was once sent to install a toilet that was still backordered. Tile guys did not bring tiles with them to make repairs (they assumed we had extras, which we did not).
3. My small bathroom project was estimated to take 8-10 weeks, and took over 6 months to complete. Aside from a few procurement setbacks out of their control, this was largely due to teams not showing up and then making repeated mistakes.
4. Quality of work was mediocre and almost every trade needed to return to fix a mistake or oversight. Some examples: (1) There were multiple grout cracks and cracked tiles after the initial tile job. The team returned and fixed the grout cracks (in process cracking more tile) without fixing some of the already cracked tiles. (2) A drywall repairman did not consider the diameter of the light fixture. The light was installed with gaping holes around it. The guy who returned to “fix” it just caulked around the light while getting caulk all over the fixture base. Afterwards, the fixture was missing 2 of the 3 screws. (3) A carpenter installed baseboard trim with obvious chips and did not install door casing. A carpenter returned to finish/fix the job and purchased baseboard trim to go around the door casing (thankfully I noticed before he started). Both trim types were clearly indicated on the design spec sheet.
5. The team damaged the pre-fabricated vanity by leaving scratches in the marble top and multiple chips in the vanity paint (it looked like someone hit it with a step stool a couple of times).

Got my bathroom remodel done by Holtzman, they exceeded my expectations! The work was amazing and they designed it exactly how I wanted it. Will my super always kept in contact and always delivered. Will defiantly recommend!

Not only were we very satisfied with the original bathroom remodels Holtzman did for us, but we have been equally satisfied with the warranty process. We recently had a leak from our bathtub. Jaryd and his team have addressed the problem quickly with no questions asked and with a level of professionalism and quality of work that is refreshing. We could not be more satisfied and we will be customers for life!

Holtzman just finished a second bedroom remodeled for a Make A Wish kid, not only did they do a beautiful top-quality work, but they also donated all of the parts and labor, all of their staff and crew put their hearts and souls on this project. THANK YOU for supporting this organization and for doing such good work.

This is a 5 star business and has great customer service excellent workmanship, the team is the best of the best and doesn't subcontract their work. They even have a 5 year warrenty and stand behind their work. Family owned designed right, works with local vendors and did a great job.

Good god what a phenomenal contractor! Holtzman Home Improvement was an exceptional choice for my wife and our home. Everything was effortless, efficient, and overall pleasant. The owner, Brandon, worked with us to work out our ideas and turn them into reality, and even added a few touches of his own that we absolutely adore. We did a whole new kitchen and it turned out better than we ever could've imagined. Any time I had questions or concerns, every answer i received was clear and concise, from the Superintendent to the customer service. I found Holtzman via a recommendation from a work colleague and I will absolutely be recommending Holtzman to everyone I know!!

We hired Holtzman a year ago to do 3 large projects in our home. We remodeled our bathroom and included a steam unit, added cabinetry throughout the house, and added a nice shiplap accent wall and fireplace in our family room. I want to give a shout out to Will, the supervisor, who took this project under his wing and made sure every detail was covered and the job was done right from the beginning. I couldn't be happier about how things turned out and we are loving everything they did. If I have more projects, I am calling Holtzman and you should too! If you get Will as your supervisor, that is a huge bonus!

We contracted with Holtzman Home Improvement to remodel the shower and water closet area of our master bathroom. The folks we worked with from Johny in sales to Grace in design were great to work with. Grace managed to avoid having to do any marriage counseling while my wife and I worked through the design and materials selection process. Will, the project manager for our project, did an outstanding job., he was easy to communicate with, responded quickly to my phone or text messages, took the time to explain things to me patiently when I had questions, and kept me informed about schedules. The folks who did the work; framing, plumbing, electrical, and tiling were professional and did quality work. They invariably completed their work ahead of schedule. My only complaint would be with how long the project took from signing the contract to completing the work but all in all an excellent outfit to work with..

Holtzman Home Improvement is a highly competent and professional company who remodeled my entire house. The process started with their great designers, , who patiently took my vision and made it come to life with HHI's computer modeling program. This enabled me to see exactly what it would look like before any work began. They also helped me select products and finishes. They clearly understand and consistently demonstrated outstanding customer service.
Brandon and Daniel provided constant oversight and communicated project status to me on a regular basis. The entire crew, all employees were excellent with the work they did in their respective skill sets. They checked in with me frequently to ensure they were giving me exactly what I wanted and they were always respectful of my time.
A big remodeling project always has a few hiccups along the way, but the staff completely owned them and solved my issues quickly. I highly recommend using Holtzman to ensure the highest quality of remodeling service. I now enjoy a beautifully remodeled townhouse thanks to their team.

The entire staff has been incredibily professional through our entire remodel process. I want to specifically call out Will Stubblefield. Will joined Holtzman a couple days before our project started. We were so lucky that he was our project manager. His communication was tremendous. He was always very honest with us. Holtzman home improvement impressed me from the moment I walked in the show room. Johnny the designer was amazing. He listened to me and created the perfect remodel for my house that truly match the picture I had in my head. When construction started we had a few issues with the project manager and it felt as though the project would never get done. Then Will Stubblefield took over as project manager and saved the day. He was wonderful, open, and worked hard to meet every deadline he gave us. His expectations for the project exceeded my expectations. I now have a wonderful newly remodeled house that I love.

Absolutely a joy to work with! The Design team were excellent listeners, answered our questions, and translated our dreams into an on-budget reality. The quality of craftmenship for tile installation, plumbing, drywall and paint was top-notch five star perfection. Our foreman, Will, deserves an extra five stars just for himself. I am writing this review to warn others about Holtzman Home Improvement.
Project scope: Remodel of master bathroom, replacement of toilet and medicine cabinet in guest bath, new flooring and baseboards with replacement of closet doors in two bedrooms, and removal of window in laundry room.
Start/Completion Date: The contract was signed in May 2020. They were not able to start the project until early August 2020. According to our contract, the completion date was scheduled for mid-September 2020. The final completion date was January 18, 2021.
Quality of work: The quality of work is excellent. All of the workers did a great job.
Selection of materials: Grace did a wonderful job helping us pick out the materials to complete our job. She was responsive to emails and calls.
Communication: Holtzman Home Improvement uses a customer portal to view your bill, look at and confirm your material selections, make payments, and view the calendar to see when work is supposed to take place at your home. There were numerous days when workers were scheduled to come to the house and no one showed up. There were no phone calls or texts to let me know they were not coming or when they might be rescheduled for.
Salesperson: Our salesperson, Lee, was great. He came to our home and put on a presentation of what our bathroom would look like after the remodel. He was very charismatic and definitely sold us on using this company.
Project manager: Our project manager was Daniel. He was here the very first day that work began for demolition. After that, he only came to the house after I requested that he make a visit. He never showed up to just check on the work and make sure it was coming along well. At the end of the project, there was no final walk-thru scheduled. I tried to call Daniel and several times his phone voicemail was full and couldn’t take anymore messages. There were a few small items that we were told would be taken care of and they were not.
The owner: The owner is difficult at best. There were numerous times that we wanted to fire this company and at one point almost did.
Overall: Holtzman Home Improvement is not a company I would recommend. I would have liked to have had more communication about what was going on and when workers would be coming to the house. The work that was completed was done well, but there were many problems with the cabinets, both with ordering and with production, which is why our job took so long to complete.

After getting several estimates for our Master Bathroom Remodel and a Wine Bar at our Breakfast Nook, we decided to go with this company. We were initially told the project would take 6-8 weeks. It took 5 Months!! We chose all of our materials that we wanted in September of 2021. The supply chain issue excuse wears thin when the materials were ordered months prior. It took several attempts from the Designer to finalize the estimate and to see if we were on budget. Our Designer quit soon after we picked out all of our items and we were never reassigned a new Designer. We had to pick out a granite slab and paint by ourselves which was not that big of an issue. Our first project Manager was fired and we had another Project Manager assigned to us. He only showed up a few times. It seems the materials we chose were not ordered in a timely manner. They were scrambling to get the items we thought were ordered months prior once they were ready to begin installation. They came out to install the toilet and had a commercial type toilet seat (U shaped with no cover) something that one would see in a bar or restaurant. They re-ordered the toilet seat and the same type one arrived a week later. I ended up going to Home Depot to get the correct toilet seat and cover and installed it myself so we could use the toilet. There were several days and weeks that there were no workers without any calls or emails to say they would not be arriving even though they were on the schedule in the Portal. Everything goes thru the Portal. The schedule can be changed at a moments notice. Any complaining was met with little to no response and it felt we were automatically sent to the back of the line in scheduling for complaining. How petty! They did not order the correct parts for the shower diverter which made our complete walk-in shower inoperable for weeks. Once the parts arrived they weren't able to get the Plumber out to install even after I explained I had back issues and needed to use the walk-in shower to bathe. I ended up hiring a local Plumber to install the part to get the shower working. They took no responsibility for anything. We wanted under cabinet lighting at the Wine Bar, however the Electrician didn't wire it correctly so we 86'd that idea. I ended up getting a wireless re-chargeable light fixture and installed it myself. The icing on the cake was when they sent out a guy to finish the Punch list which included some paint touch up. When he arrived he told me he was color blind and did not paint!!!!!! I notified the Project Manager of this and he said he would come and paint himself. At that point I ended up doing the touch up myself. For the amount of money we spent on this project we are very disappointed on how we were treated. Their lack of Customer Service and them taking no responsibility whatsoever for all of their screw ups and lack of communication lead me to give them two stars. We were also told more than once from their workers that we lived very far from their office. Perhaps they shouldn't of taken this project on. No one wants to hear workers complain that we live too far away. It was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend them. Do not use them, not worth the headaches.

I worked with Holtzman Home Improvement on my recent shower remodels, everything was effortless, efficient, and overall pleasant. Christina, my designer, worked with me and turn my ideas into reality. The design team and the fixtures that Christina selected certainly added to the class and beauty of the shower.

Jared, our remodel supervisor, and his expertise in the layout and general installation of my guest house shower remodel met my expectation and beyond. His workmanship and professionalism were evident in every aspect of the project.

The Communication with the entire Holtzman team with my questions or concerns were always answered promptly and were very clear and to the point. I was kept informed and updated throughout the project. From planning to finish of the project, it is evident that the customer is their top priority!

Very professional staff, quality installers, great results

I normally do not do reviews or recommendations companies unless I REALLY like them, or I REALLY had a terrible experience with them and I want to tell people to stay away!! This one is because I absolutely trust Holtzman and would recommend them to ANYONE looking to remodel their home!! This will be my 3rd major project that I have used Holtzman for. I started using them back in 2008 when Brandon and his crew built my daughters bedroom for her and did other remodeling projects around our house. The bedroom was of course beautiful complete with a walk in closet, custom built in shelving and chair rail in the room. She was so happy! It was beautiful and it was a great addition to the house! I then used them when we decided to buy a rental property and make some changes to update the house before putting it on the market for renters. Things like updating the flooring, countertops and bathrooms. Once again, they did not disappoint! Everything was beautiful and we had renters in no time at all! This time was no different! We decided to buy another property to rent but we were on a strict time schedule! I flew in from out of town, called Judy and told her my situation and that afternoon I was meeting with Paul! By the next day I had a quote and a plan and everything was good!
Yes, there have been delays but that is to be expected. But I will also say, Brandon himself went and did a walk through before things started and found mold and water damage. Had he not done that we would have never known. Some contractors could have just let it go and just covered it up! But of course Brandon let us know and the project had to stop while that was taken care of properly. It just shows Holtzman does care about what they are doing and that they take the time to do it right. I would rather have some delays then have people rushing to get things done and it not be done right.
Yes, I think they are a little higher priced. But I also believe you get what you pay for. I think their communication is great, Brandon always gets back to me. Holtzman has treated us like family since 2008, and they continue to do so through this crazy condo remodel of mine today! So thank you to Brandon and his entire Holtzman team!

If you are looking for quality remodeling, Holtzman is the answer. From the time I met the sales representative, to the time the project manager debriefed me - the remodeling was nothing shy of outstanding. They were responsible, and timely with each step of the remodeling process. I was constantly informed and updated with each transaction. The people are very friendly and professional.

I highly recommend David P. as a project manager for your remodel. He is with you every step of the way. He will address all issues with courtesy and professionalism. He is simply the best!

After a great experience with our designer, Christina, we opted for HHI to tackle our small bathroom remodel. Every step of the project went as expected. They were open and honest with timelines in regards to product delays/demands. Will, our Project Manager, was very responsive to texts or phone calls, even at strange hours of the day. He was as flexible as he could be with our schedule and was always stepping up to the plate for us. Overall the project went as promised and we had a great experience!

We had a bathroom and kitchen remodel with Holtzman. Christina was the designer and Will ran the project. Communication was good the whole time. Techs were nice and courteous. Project took a bit longer than we expected but we are happy with the results

Mike and Will were great to work with. Understanding that getting contractors scheduled to do work in this environment is very challenging, Will pushed the job to get it completed as timely as possible. Both Mike and Will always responded quickly to my questions and concerns. Also very pleased with the quality of the work.

We needed a full house remodel and chose Holtzman Home Improvement over several other well-known contractors. We couldn’t be happier with the results. From the owners (Danny and Brandon) to all of their trade people they were all friendly, professional, and experienced. When problems came up (as they always do on jobs such as ours) they listened to us and made sure we were satisfied with the outcome. We were especially lucky to have Jaryd as our project supervisor. He was extremely responsive, immediately handled any issues and ensured that the project continued to move forward. Lastly, we could not have done ANY of the remodel without our wonderful designer Christina. Her design was simply beautiful and her help and support in choosing all of our cabinets, flooring, paint colors and all of the other necessities was a godsend. Holtzman is an outstanding company, and we wouldn’t hesitate to refer them to our family and friends!

I had the pleasure of working with holtzman home improvement a few months ago. They came in to my house and gave me a quote to remodel my kitchen, they worked with my budget, while keeping my interest and vision throughout the project. The trades are amazing, professional and clean, they made sure everything was done right until the end. I can truly say I recommend them to anyone who wants to update their living space. 5stars.

Holtzman home improvement is such an amazing company. I definitely recommend them to anybody home I want to work with somebody who knows what they're doing in the valley. I had them install a glass wall where I had taken out the pool gate that over looked the mountain. I had them take out to the gate that look like the pool gate instead of the pool gate I had to install a nice beautiful glass wall that overlooked it the mountains in the nature behind my house. I would definitely recommend them is there a conference in what they were doing and they always communicated with me if there were any kind of delays from any other manufacturers. I will definitely write this company at 10star and not a 5 star because of how amazing their whole staff was when it came on my property.

14 months and still waiting for completion of a 360 Sq Ft Casita. Unfinished roof has molded and has to be replaced. Blueprint descripancy between company and county compliances!

I will start by saying that most of the trades people were very nice and happy to explain their process. The owner was responsive when we hit a plumbing snag. Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. Our rude project manager made the experience unpleasant. The completed project shows a definite lack of attention to detail and is not what one would expect from a professional remodeling company. We have two remaining rooms to complete in our home but will not be using Holtzman nor can we recommend based on our own personal experience.

Considering any remodel is a daunting process, Holtzman Home Improvements helped make the process as smooth as possible. Clear expectations were set up front and proactive planning helped us prepare. There are many many moving parts in a remodel or any home improvement, then throw skyrocketing material cost, labor shortages and covid on top of this process its makes my head spin. Holtzman home improvement helped manage this process in life and in mind. The result was great... Just like most good things in this world, you get what you pay for! Holtzman Home Improvements boasts this in there home improvement work!

I had Holtzman remodel my kitchen a few years back and the job they did was outstanding. This time we were looking to completely remodel into a new master bathroom and we could not be happier. There were a few bumps along they way, but our PM Jarred was very communicative and I always knew where we stood for the whole project. We are eyeing a remodel of the spare bathroom now that the rest of the house looks so nice - when that time comes, we will surely reach out to Holtzman first.

We chose Holtzman because they are a local company and they have a showroom for easy one-stop shopping. We also liked having Builder Trend for online communication and a calendar so that we could see when the work was scheduled to be done. Ryan was our consultant. He had great ideas and designed our bathrooms and helped us with our choices as we were picking everything out so that it all came together perfectly. John was our supervisor and he made sure that the work got done well. He was easy to talk to and on-site frequently. Everything from the tile to the plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, mirrors, etc. was very well done. The end results are beautiful. We are very happy that we chose Holtzman.

I recently hired Holtzman Home Improvement to remodel my kitchen and replace tile flooring throughout my home. I am blown away by the quality of work their team provided. Not only were the workers excellent in their respective fields, they were polite, respectful, and wonderful to work with. On top of the quality of work, the team at Holtzman used several virtual tools that made the remodeling process painless. Rob, my design consultant, was able to show me exactly what my new kitchen would look with a 3D design software. Being able to visualize my new space was extremely helpful. I was also able to easily manage my project and schedule through an online portal the team utilizes. I would highly recommend Holtzman Home Improvement to anyone interested in a remodeling project.

I recently had Holtzman Home Improvement do an extensive renovation on my primary home in Tempe. Everyone on the team (Ryan, Bruce, Brandon, Danny, and Melanie) was wonderful to work with--very conscientious and they all seemed to genuinely care about the quality of the work. Furthermore, their communication was impeccable throughout the duration of the project. I was routinely kept informed about the progress of the remodel and they were always available to answer any questions I might of had. Also--the online portal was an added bonus as I could log on at anytime to check what was on the calendar and also make payments conveniently.

The scope of work included raising the hallway ceiling, a/c work, re-doing the master-bath shower, patching and fixing drywall, replacing or moving lighting and electrical outlets, tile work, plumbing, and removing part of an exterior block wall to install a large new window in the kitchen. The tradesmen from each area: the plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc. were all very professional and very thorough in their work.

Overall, I could not be happier with how everything turned out. I would recommend Holtzman Home Improvement to anyone without hesitation. I plan on being a repeat customer!

As a single Mom on a tight budget I looked into several options for our bathroom remodel and found everything I needed with Holtzman's Home Improvement. Will was my superintendent and he was very kind, professional and accommodating to my needs during the remodel. The remodel took longer than expected but I was expecting it would because of the pandemic. I appreciate the workers too ! They were all very kind and trustworthy!

Holtzman Home Improvement has done multiple jobs for our home, including a large job installing hardwood floors in most of the home. The product quality and customer service were both top-notch, even though pricing was the best we received. Employees were professional and trustworthy. I don't hesitate to recommend them!

Holtzman Home Improvement was one of three contractors that I reviewed before making a choice for my bathroom remodel. This was my first experience with remodeling and Grace and Brandon and the team were excellent in keeping me grounded and on track throughout the whole experience. There were a few hick ups but all in all the work went well everyone was professional and it was done in time for Thanksgiving with the family.

Through Home Advisor I got a referral for Holtzman Home Improvement for my bathroom project of replacing my shower and replacing my garden tub with a sitting area. I chose Holtzman over the other 3 contractors that bid the project due to their quick response, professional procedures yet personal interaction of all of the staff. The office is well stocked with materials and software yet I was permitted to use tile materials of my own choosing.
Melanie, the liaison, visited the project to be sure I got exactly what I thought I was getting. Brandon, the owner, was always responsive to a cell call even when I had a follow up issue which he cheerfully resolved.

Mine was a small project so scheduling was a bit haphazard. Some surprise workman appearances and a few scheduled steps moved to other days; but it was completed in a reasonable time and the quality of workmanship was consistent. The tile installer Hector was above and beyond.
Holtzman pricing was similar to 2 of the other contractors.
I would definitely recommend Holtzman for bathroom and kitchen projects.

Nothing but good responsible and professional results from this company.Was a bit worried by having the work done when I was out of town but Will the superintendent of the project handled all my concerns and questions.This guy knows his stuff and was very courteous with all my out of the box questions.highly recommend them.

I selected Holtzman out of a large group of local companies as they seemed to have the best understanding and appreciation of what I wanted done, and were within price expectations. Rob Hardee was my Project Manager and my go to person.

The scope of work was as follows. The previous owner of my house enclosed the patio into an additional room but made some decisions that made is susceptible to water. The room flooded during the massive rain back in 2014. Since then we were keeping it clean but unused until we could afford to repair.

When it came time to repair we knew we wanted two things, raise the floor to the same height as the rest of the house, and remove concrete on the side of the house that was higher than the room. Most companies wither wanted to repair in place and not raise the room or do a full demo of everything. Rob Hardee was open to some alternatives recommended by friends of mine in the industry, he carefully considered the the options and we went with what I felt was the best option.

We did not overrun budget with the exception of a small amount on tile as the cost of tile we picked was higher than the estimate. With the refinancing boom we came to the table expecting that many construction companies were going to be stretched thin, but Rob was responsive to questions and communicative throughout the whole process so we were not concerned.

Absolutely will use HHI again when I have more remodeling to do.

I'm a repeat customer with Holtzman Home Improvement. They remodeled my kitchen last year, and now we're just finishing up a master bath remodel. For both projects I'm happy to say that I am very satisfied with their work.

Before deciding to work with the Holtzmans, my wife and I did some research, called in an architect, and asked several contractors to offer bids. What finally stood out with Danny and Brandon, and really what made us decide to work with them above any other contractor, was their ability to take a design approach from the start. Understanding design aspects of any remodel (as I've learned from Rick, their lead designer) is crucial. For both our kitchen and bath we found that the right design helped ensure we got what we expected (aesthetically) and that things stayed within the budget we set for ourselves.

Another interesting feature of Holtzman Home Improvement is their staff. They have their own employees for most jobs ; plumbing, carpentry, tile, etc. My wife and I liked this very much because it insured a high-level of quality and a group of workers that did not change throughout the project. All the people who work at Holtzman are steadfast professionals and did a great job.

Now for anyone who thinks that any well-planned home improvement project is impervious to mistakes, let me say that such is not the case. Some problems will, without a doubt, emerge. And whenever a problem presented itself, Danny and Brandon were always very honest about it, and worked with me to find a good resolution. If the wrong tile was laid down, they simply removed it. In other cases we had to endure some overages in order to resolve the issue. However if I had to pay a bit more to get what I and my wife wanted, we were always satisfied with the solution and found the final outcome better than expected. In some cases, the problem actually forced a solution that was superior to the original plan.

Finally the online project management system that Brandon set up is great. Not only does it show the schedule and upcoming work, but it helps document overages which is an important part of any project. I think this kind of system represents icing on the cake because bigger projects are complex and need exactly this sort of tight oversight.

So in the end, would I use the Holtzmanns on my next project? The answer is very much yes.

We just completed our second home project with Holtzman Home Improvement, having been very pleased with the outcome and process with our first project a few months ago. Our vision for this project was a little tricky and Brandon worked tirelessly with us to find the exact resources and products we needed to complete our vision. Melanie managed the process and communicated continually with us so that we always knew what to expect. Any concerns or questions that we had along the way were addressed in a timely fashion every time. The workmanship is of the highest quality. We love the results of both projects. We will soon start our third home project and wouldn't think of going with any other company!

We hired Holtzman to renovate the entire exterior of our home. We changed our stucco from textured to smooth, renovated two exterior balconies, added a metal/cable railing on each balcony, new front door, new garage door, demo’d old concrete and replaced with it pavers, replaced a side gate with a metal one, repaired wooden fascia along the trim, and painted. All of this was completed before the 6 week timeline they gave us. Rob was our contractor and did an awesome job at keeping us informed with what was happening and when. All of the people that came to work on our house were outstanding and professional. The exterior of our house now looks like a brand new build! We were so impressed with their work, we already hired them to renovate our master bathroom next. I highly recommend them to other people and plan to continue to use them for future projects.

Remodels are always late and over-budget. I am sure you have heard that before. That summarizes our experience. We remodeled our floors, kitchen and bathroom. They were not cheap, end product was good but way over-budget, late and full of surprises. We made our selections and signed our lives away in March 2019, the project was completed in October 2019. We decided to finance the project, the sales rep indicated we would not need to provide a downpayment so we signed our lives away. A few months later the owner contacted us and indicated we needed to pay a 30% downpayment so that they could place the order. 30%!!!!!!!!

If they actually worked every business day this project would have taken 1 month.

Would I hire them again? NO
Would I go through a remodel again? NO

I want to caveat this one-star review by saying I am still hoping that Holzman does the right thing and returns our full deposit. When that happens I will gladly increase this rating.

There are a lot of good things about Holtzman and my wife and my experience with them started out very well. We chose Holtzman to remodel our bathroom due to the positive reviews they received on Yelp and Google. We received excellent service from our superintendent and, after choosing a layout and materials, we submitted our deposit so that work could get started. A tentative start date was set about two months out and we were told we’d be contacted soon with more info on the timeframe. A week went by. Then two. Then three. I emailed our superintendent multiple times with no response. I finally tracked down his cell number only to learn that he had quit the company and been told not to contact any of the people he’d been working with. We were concerned about the lack of communication at this point but decided to keep going. Our old superintendent gave us the contact info for someone at Holtzman who would reschedule us and get us a new superintendent. We were rescheduled but we wanted to ask our new superintendent about some details. So we were given his information and we emailed him. No reply. So we called him. No reply. After a month we had not had any communication with this superintendent. Then Holtzman randomly had someone come over to measure for the cabinets, though this had already been done and the guy who was doing it said that “this isn’t really my job”. Finally, we had someone knock on our door at 7am unscheduled and unannounced saying he was there to do the framing. We were all very confused as we still hadn’t spoken to the superintendent and no work had been scheduled. At this point, we lost confidence in the process. We had been left in the dark after the superintendent we liked left. The new one assigned to us was completely non-communicative. And now we had random trades coming over for no reason.

I told Holtzman that we did not want to proceed with them and would like our deposit back. They responded by saying they were going to keep $2,000 of it for salaries and work that had been completed. This confused me to say the least, since all they had done since we put the deposit down was ghost us and send random people to our house. We asked for a breakout of these expenses, which they never provided.

We had every intention of proceeding with Holtzman until the process broke down. We have not received $2,000 of value. No work was done. To the contrary, it has caused considerable wasted time and worry.

I respectfully ask Holtzman to refund our whole deposit so that I can update this review to confirm that you are a fair company who cares about customer satisfaction. Thank you.

Holtzman home Improvement remodeled my entire kitchen recently. We are so pleased with the AMAZING job. They gutted out the cabinets, countertops, removed all of the old lighting and lighting fixtures. When they originally started the job they came with samples and blueprints and we did not think what they imagined was going to even be possible. When they came in to remove everything they were so clean that you couldn't even see any mess or dust on the bare floors. Then they sent in a drywall team who patched everything over and fixed the holes where all of our old lighting fixtures and switches were. Then they sent an electrician who rewired everything and installed modern can lighting that evenly lined the dining room and kitchen. Then their plumbing team came in and connected the water lines and set up the reverse osmosis. Then the guys came and installed the cabinets and then the counter tops and sink was installed. This kitchen remodel turned out exactly as they had originally said it would and it actually took less time than we had planned for. Everyone we had the pleasure of speaking to was professional and showed great workmanship. They were so clean and just so pleasant to see everyday in my home. I recommend them to everyone and I'm excited to FINALLY be hosting a family event in our home to show off the wonderful work!

Brandon (owner) went above and beyond and we cannot be more thankful! The hope for a beautiful home remodel had already been crushed by the lack of professionalism and detail from two other companies so our expectations were at an all-time low when Brandon’s tile guys showed up. Daniel and Antonio came in and knocked us off our socks! Their work ethic, attention to detail, professionalism and finish work was absolutely amazing. They fixed and finished work that other tile companies failed to complete and after 5 painful months, Daniel and Antonio turned our house into a home. I HIGHLY recommend Holtzman Home Improvement for all projects and will absolutely call Brandon for any of our future projects.

I've had Holtzman in to renovate my flooring two times, and both times have come away extremely, extremely pleased with the results. My first time was just a little over 1,100 sq. ft of laminate hardwood - Brandon Holtzman was able to suggest a great product, an awesome look, and didn't play any games with me on the price, making sure to detail all the different items that I would be paying for so there were no surprises once we had him and his team on the job. It went according to plan and on schedule.

The second time around we moved into a bigger space and had to get 2,500 sq. ft of laminate hardwood installed. This time around Brandon and Danny suggested great cost savings/time savings measures and laid down the materials in a way that no other contractor said could be done, all in a price unmatched and on schedule. Was able to meet other members of the Holtzman team (floor installers, carpenters, and painters) and they were all extremely professional and had great things to say about their employer - always a good thing to hear that the company is well run top to bottom.

Of course no job is without its flaws - there were a couple of small items that were missed or needed repair (missed caulking on baseboard, stair trim loose), but in all fairness, with a job this size, small flaws are expected. Brandon made sure his team came out and fixed the issues quickly and with no questions asked.

Will surely come back to Holtzman first for our next renovation project due to their professionalism, high quality, and the great job they've done for us.

This company has some very good qualities. The sales staff are very professional on the front end of the remodel . Ryan was very professional and helped us along the way . He worked with us to select the materials and helped with the design for our complete bathroom remodel . The man that installed the tile in the shower and the floor was a true professional. Excellent. One of the reasons for choosing this company was their claim of having a daily schedule. They do have a daily schedule but they either don't follow the schedule or they change it at will. I do understand that things happen but the schedule became laughable. Communication with the project manager was always a problem. Projected time given for remodel was 6 weeks and still not completed at 12 weeks. Billing system does not work because you cannot pay online . Biggest disappointment is the schedule and that our remodel is still not done.....

I experienced Pros & Cons:
Pros: Sales guy was nice, worked with me on different options and so did Melanie in the office. She was super responsive and flexible, so the front end of the job went well. And the execution was done with professionalism and quality workmanship. We are pleased with final product.
Cons: The scheduling was frustrating and the online portal was not always up to date. What was quoted as a 1-2 day job took 1.5 weeks. We did not always receive accurate or timely updates on when the next guy was coming (plumbing, electric, counter, drywall, etc). When I voiced my concerns to Jeff the schedule guy stating that he wasn't managing my expectations well, he shared that it wasn't his job to manage my expectations. That was disappointing. I escalated to the service manager who did not get back to me during the process, however after the job was complete I got a call from the owner who listened to my concerns and apologized for not setting/managing my expectations.
Bottom line: At times a frustrating experience, but quality end result.

Holtzman home improvement and the holtzman family are just awesome. I've done business with the holtzman family for over 10 years and have been fantastic to work with. They even donated to the Ronald McDonald house in Phoenix to help remodel their game room when I asked if they could help out. This is a quality company that cares about their customer and their community. Thanks Holtzman home improvement!

OUTSTANDING!!!Holtzman and all of there wonderful employees have made our remodel a dream. Everyone we have worked with is highly experienced in the industry, prideful in their work, and personable. They have been honest, straightforward, and fair in pricing. They take the time to understand your priorities and provide council through the decision making process. The craftsmanship has been great, they leave our house in good order every day and are friendly to our dog. We have been so thrilled with the remodel they did on our bathrooms that we signed for our master bath and main home flooring.

Holtzman Professionals: Rob is our sales guy-he is highly experienced, knowledgeable, honest, friendly and easy to work with. Mike is our construction managers- He is on top of it, communicative, so easy to work with and cares about the quality as much as we do. Grace is our design consultant-She has made is so easy to make design selections, is patient and creative.

I was impressed that there are no subcontractors. All work is taken care of by the company. This makes it easy to complete the job.
It is a one stop shop. Their designers help to pick out materials. Very professional.

LENGTH OF TIME QUOTED TO COMPLETE JOB - 45 days
LENGTH OF TIME IT TOOK TO COMPLETE JOB - 171 days

Timeliness: Demo began 9/10/18 and job was not complete until 2/27/19. We went days/weeks where no one showed up to work on the house. After they cut a post tension line, the project sat for over 2 weeks with nothing being done!

Craftsmanship: 90% of the trades they sent over were excellent! They did great work, had great attitudes, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. The completed work looks great!

Planning: To give a few examples - the flooring guys came over to install, but there was no flooring dropped off the night before install. Drywall guys showed up, but city inspection was not signed off, so drywall could not be done. Anytime a trade leaves, they move onto another job, and yours gets pushed back again!

Communication: HHI will only call you when they are looking for another payment. Other than that, you will need to call them to get an idea when to expect someone at your home to do any work. They use an online tool/portal called Buildertrend and Faztimate. Buildertrend will notify you when your job is rolled back, you will then need to call HHI and ask why. Both systems I find difficult to use. I have requested HHI email me info, but they refuse, and direct me to their portal.

Cost: Lets just say they wrote an allowance for a custom door at less than $300. When they sent someone out to measure the door, I was quoted $5700.00. When I pushed back, I was told Oh yeah, thats Frankie, he is expensive. So they sent another person out that quoted $1100.00. . . . . . . . .

Professionalism: The owners don't have the first idea what this is! They take no responsibility and point fingers at the customer nonstop. They send snarky text messages and even threaten to sue you!
For example, final door was painted on 2/27, and Brandon emailed me that evening stating Here is the copy of the late bill you owe. How am I late paying you when you just finished the job a few hours ago?? I have asked both Danny Holtzman and Brandon Holtzman to email me a breakdown of charges, to reflect changes made and credits, but am told we have already credited everything we are going to credit. After telling Brandon I would be going to ROC, YELP, and news stations for help, he threatened to sue me. He made it clear he has a team of attorneys, so it's not an issue for him.

Now the job is done, but I have no clear answer on what the balance truly is. Danny and Brandon have not sent me an itemized summary showing corrections and credits, and claim they don't need to supply it to me either. As of my last phone call with Brandon, he is busy with his kids sporting events, isn't in front of a computer all day, and will look into it later. I just want to pay what I truly owe, and move on with my life!

Great company, high quality work and the owner is pays very close attention to detail! 10/10 recommend for any home repairs!

Refreshing to work with professionals. I had an extensive remodel done and Holtzman Home Improvement restored my faith in contractors finishing on budget and ahead of schedule.

Starting from the planning stages all the way through the finished project my expectations were met and exceeded. I never felt pressured to do anything out of the scope of planned work, I was well informed and educated about any issues that arose and again the work was finished on time and budget. Holtzman Home Improvement worked competently and proficiently, throughout the project my home was treated with care and respect.

Of all the kitchen and bathroom remodelers my wife and I checked out Holtzman Remodeling/Home Improvement had by far the best designs and most upfront prices and warranty. If my wife's mother comes to live with us we will be calling back for a senior or handicap bathroom, thanks again Holtzman Home Improvement.

Started out as 1 star for non responsive, but since then the company has reached out and done everything it could to be on top of what is happening with the remodel, they assigned a wonderful person named Christine to the project and she has done everything she can to make it clear that what we want will be a long process and explained the steps. I look forward to how this all ends.

Awful. Guy shows up first day to clear a slow draining sink, no tools or ladder. Matter of fact, no work truck. Looks at sink and says yep, it's slow to drain. I'll have to come back tomorrow to snake it. Comes back the next day, no tools or work truck. Wanders around my house for 15 mins and says the stoppage is at the main and my warranty co doesn't cover it then leaves. The most unprofessional professional I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Good luck with this company, you're going to need it.

I would like to give a 1-Star review but to be fair, I will give a 2-star review because the job was completed. Just as a quick overview, I would not recommend Holtzman Home Improvement.

PROS and CONS List below:

PROS:

*Bathroom remodel was completed.

*Liked cabinet finishes and style options.

CONS:

*We were given a timeline of 6-8 weeks for project completion but ended up taking 6 months.

*In contract, the introduction page says that Brandon Holtzman “… will personally meet you and visit your job site several times throughout your project to ensure quality and care is not only in the workmanship but also in our demeanor.” Never met the man; not even once.

*“Designer” which they refer to as “sales-person”, had a hard time keeping up with the demands of our project. Made numerous mistakes in terms of measurements that caused wrong products to be ordered and mistakes in the actual remodel. Assumed certain details about project without consulting us. Example: Cabinet above toilet was bigger than expected (inaccurate measurements) and overlapped on to the exhaust fan, “Sales-Person” assumed that we were just going to move the exhaust fan altogether; this would have cost us hundreds of dollars to move the fan 2-3 inches.

*Crew would show up whenever, sometimes not at all even though scheduled. Had crew show up at 6am without notice multiple times. Had to state over and over again for a start time that worked for my family; between 7-8am. Nothing ridiculous. No consistency whatsoever.

*Some of the crew did not speak English, which I absolutely didn’t mind at all. But Project manager, “sales person”, did not speak the language. I never expected to be the sole translator numerous times in person and on the phone. Because of this language barrier, numerous mistakes were made on our project.

*Crew would come to job site and not know the status of our project, therefore would ask me questions about what needed to be done, as well as certain technical details that only a professional would know (example: electrical).

*Crew would come to job unprepared and would leave to go to Home Depot for 1+ hours to grab material. Not sure if this is standard, but I believe that they should have been prepared for the day’s work at our project.
*Overpriced. Example: Updated replacement of bathroom exhaust fan that was picked up at home depot for around $45.00-$55.00 and less than an hour to install, cost almost $400.00.

*Project manager forgot to discuss details of our project to team so there were details that were left out. Example: Requested to have a shower bench installed; shower was “completed” with no shower bench.

*Project manager and “sales-person” should have communicated more in terms of our project details; numerous mistakes could have been avoided.

*Low quality of materials: tile/grout. Numerous tiles are cracked, chipped, and grout has already started to come out in chunks. Also, grout that was never wiped off, has solidified and won’t come off.

*Already have water damage; yes, water damage in a bathroom on a pony wall that neither the project manager and “sales-person” gave input on how to finish to avoid said water damage.

*Was double charged, and charged for work not done. Caught mistakes by thoroughly reviewing receipt and was reimbursed. If I didn’t catch these details we would have easily been overcharged.

*At the completion of the project you are given a 5-year warranty. We have recently contacted Holtzman Home Improvement to come and fix said damage and have not heard back; it has been a few weeks already.

*Their slogan is “People should do business with people they trust”; would not recommend.

I really enjoy working with the team at Holtzman Home Improvement. Danny and Brandon are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and really easy to reach. I highly recommend giving them a call for all your kitchen and bathroom remodeling needs.

Designers and contractors nailed my project in the head. Master bedroom/bathroom was transformed beautifully. The attention to details is what separates them apart from previous works with other companies. Highly recommend Hotlzman home remodeling. They are a fantastic group to work with.

Great work! I have used HHI a few times and I have to say I am glad I did. Brandon and his staff are great. No job is too big or too small and attention to detail goes all the way to the end of the project. I highly recommend him and will be using him in the future!

Purchased a toilet from Amazon and they now provide an option to have one of their contractors install your toilet. They had three choices, I picked Holtzman because of their high rating on the internet. I had a hard time getting the toilet, it was first back ordered and they would let me know when it was on its way, which they did not. I was dealing with Judy at Holtzman and told her I would call when I got it because was not sure of the delivery date. I received it at about 4pm on a Thursday. I called Judy and said I finally got the toilet and she said they were booked until next week and we made an appointment for the following Tuesday. Then 20 minutes later she said she could have someone come the next day between 7-9am, I said that was great. Alverdo showed up, he protected my carpet and installed my new toilet. I plan on purchasing another toilet for the bathroom in the garage and will have Holtzman do the installation. I highly recommend them for there great service. Judy did not have to make this happen the next day, but she did and I thank her so very much for that. Great service.

True professionals, everything was right on time they were reliable we put off doing the kitchen and bathroom remodel just because of the headache of dealing with non-professionals and contractors who will take your deposit and show up whenever it’s convenient for them and take weeks longer than they anticipated we have had night contractor stories In the past... I won’t use or recommend anyone besides the HOLTZMAN FAMILY!

Rob Hardee and the Holtzman team did a great job on replacing our flooring. We originally had carpet and tile in our house and wanted to convert over to all tile. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out!
Rob was very responsive and helped us through the process from start to finish. There design team was also great to work with and had a wide selection to choose from.
I would highly recommend the Holtzman team for any home improvement project you might have.

Holtzman estimated its team would begin work on our project in May 2022, with a ‘conservative’ estimated completion date of October 2022. (Timeline was important to us because our first child was due in January) did virtually nothing over the first three months; employees visited the site 6 times during that time period. Work did not begin until September 2022, after we expressed concerns to owner and assigned a new superintendent; at that time, owner estimated December completion. It is now mid-January and work is ongoing. We brought our newborn home to a rental and have no idea when we will be able to return to our house.
We went with Holtzman because of their online scheduling/calendar tool. This tool is supposed to allow the client to (1) get a sense of what is happening when, in terms of the overall project timeline and (2) know which tradesmen are coming to the site on which day. It did not deliver on either account, as the calendar is almost never kept up to date or filled out more than a few weeks into the future. As far as the overall project timeline, we asked superintendents and the owner for a project schedule at least 20 times. The most we got (verbally) was a tentative date. As far as knowing when specific tradesmen and inspectors would be there, people would show up when no one was scheduled (including an inspector who needed a $300 check), or, conversely, we would make sure we were available only to have them not show up. The lack of scheduling was not just inconvenient; it had a big impact on the project itself, because no one seemed to be ensuring various jobs were being done in the correct order. Work had to be undone/redone, wasting everyone’s time.
We hired a residential architect to draft detailed plans for the home addition. Plans were signed off on by mechanical, structural, electrical and plumbing engineers, as well as the city of Phoenix, which permitted the project. The Holtzman team had full-size copies of these plans at the site. Various Holtzman employees and subcontractors repeatedly disregarded the plans, creating a cascade of problems. There are too many instances of the plans being ignored to list them all, examples include (1) discarding an electrical panel that was supposed to be relocated and installing the new electrical panel in the wrong place, affecting where the HVAC unit could be installed (2) installing the primary kitchen window 2 inches lower than indicated, jeopardizing ability to install outlets and switches where indicated (3) building master bath ceiling at wrong height (4) ignoring instructions to slope the slab under the new master shower, later requiring the slab to be redone, and so on.
After repeated attempts to work with our first superintendent, Joe Clark, to resolve concerns about lack of progress and poor organization and communication were unsuccessful, we asked Joe to coordinate a meeting with company owner Brandon Holtzman. He misled us, setting a meeting with Brandon for Saturday at the Holtzman offices. After showing up for the meeting, we found out that Brandon was out of town and didn't know about the meeting. Joe showed up late and we questioned him about Brandon’s attendance, Joe started yelling at us to “Get the f-ck out of here (the Holtzman office.)” He then followed us out as we got into our car and continued to stare at us as we left. Brandon was apologetic about the incident and assigned us a new superintendent, but it was still jarring. Under the second superintendent, the team left our property completely unsecured one day: front door unlocked, back door left wide open, side gate left open, keys to home left in construction area, and lockbox left open with correct code displayed. When we expressed our concern, the superintendent blamed us for not living there at the time (despite being strongly encouraged to move out during bulk of the demolition and construction phase) and told us he “never signed up for being the gate keeper.” Our third and current superintendent, Cory, has been one of the only redeeming aspects of working with the company.

Horrible experience. Installers were great, project management extremely poor.

We just finished our kitchen remodel with Holtzman and are very pleased with the results. Our house looks amazing, but more importantly is the quality of their craftsmanship and attention to detail. We’re already planning to remodel two bathrooms with them next year.

Did a full kitchen remodel they rolled out the red carpet from day 1 was very happy to do work with such a great company
