Justin came out yesterday to do a follow up after installation to make sure everything was running right. Cannot say enough about him, personable, professional and very knowledgeable. He checked everything, answered questions & made sure we knew all the features of the thermostat. A great representative for your company & I’d like to have him back if we ever run into any service issues. I will highly recommend Hays A/C to anyone that asks, your employees are all top notch.

Charged me $318 for drain clean that took 30 minutes on one of my rental properties. Also drilled a hole in the metal drain and left jagged edges exposed. Took my credit card ahead of job and never called with a quote to fix. Just did the job and charged me. Was very unhappy with the service and very high price. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Travis came out and got my AC ready for summer use. My AC is 16 years old and the capacitor was working at less than 10% of manufacturers recommended output. I am trying to baby my AC to last four years so I decided to have Travis install the new one. I really wanted the model with the 5 year warranty but my budget dictated the 1 year warranty. I love this company. Their techs are not on commission so I did not feel that they upsell.

This was my first time with this company. I just sort of threw darts and choose them after the company I have done business with for 10 years went strictly commercial. Office gal was very nice. Nice e-mail reminder of appointment. JD called when he was on his way. He and his work were pleasant, clean and through. He offered me their maintenance program with no hard sell. Very pleasant experience. I will be back.

We needed an entirely new HVAC unit this year and they made sure we were completely informed on our options and it was installed quickly! We are 110% satisfied!

I strongly recommend Heraldo and technician Kevin. I was told by a different company that my AC system need to be replaced as it was not repairable. I called sun devils for second opinion. Kevin did the inspection and within 15 mins, identified the problem. Its the thermostat that is faulty not the AC system. At the end of the hour, we got our AC back. This happened this week when the temperature in the valley hit 118 degrees. I would reach Heraldo if i ever have issues with my HVAC in the future.

We have used their services for several years and they have assisted us with everything needed to maintain a home in Az. We are only here in the winter months and they are totally in charge of our home while we are away. Our experiences with Jessica and Kevin have been the best. We were referred to Mark, owner of Cactus Mechanical, through a mutual friend when soliciting several bids to replace two 3-ton split-gas A/C systems in our 15-year-old home. Mark is one of the most down-to-earth, honest, and patient A/C contractors you’ll ever have the pleasure of working with. Their “best pricing first” is fair (not so cheap that you’ll think he’s cutting corners, but not sticker-shock high either), the equipment options are a great value (they use the sister brands of major labels that come with the same quality without the brand-name markups), and he’s proud of the fact that he pays his guys well to ensure they stick around.
When bidding on the job, he also identified a common installation problem from the home builder and offered to correct it during the replacement, improving airflow to a couple of hot rooms. Beyond that, he didn’t pad the invoice with unwanted thermostats, maintenance contracts, or high-end systems that offered poor ROI for the time we expect to remain in this home. Because his distributor’s pricing improved during the bid process, he was able to revise the quote and pass some significant savings onto us.

When the time came for install, one of the two outdoor units arrived at his shop slightly damaged by a forklift. He was quick to let us know and gave us the option of splitting the install or doing it all at once. We took the option to replace one of the two systems which were inoperative to ensure we’d be comfortable as the spring temperatures were forecasted to climb, then replace the other system a week later when it arrived at his distributor.

For the actual install, from start to finish, his crew was efficient and performed quality workmanship. Each of the two 3-ton split gas A/C and furnace systems we replaced in our home were removed and replaced in an average of 4 hours each, including puling new thermostat wire to my two ecobee 4 thermostats to properly support two-stage operation (not the easiest job since the wire wasn’t readily accessible). From initial contact to job completion, Mark personally kept us in the loop with scheduling, equipment delivery status, and work completion times, and I never once felt uncomfortable or “in the dark” with the work or what was going on. Every install requires photos to add to the customer file to ensure the job was done right the first time. He was onsite at the start of the first job, and the completion of the second.

I would highly recommend considering Cactus Mechanical for any residential and commercial HVAC job in the valley (they do a lot of radio and cellular tower cooling systems too). You won’t be disappointed!

called in because my ac is blowing warm air, started giving them my info to set an appointment for the same day since I can't have my family in a house that is 93 degrees. Customer rep asked if I had a second AC unit working I said yes and right away she stated that she was unable to help me with same day service because I had a second ac unit but could set an appointment 5 days out. If she would of waited until I finished explaining she would of known that the second AC is a small unit in my garage. Don't know how me having a second unit affects my service call or why it would change the date. Is it Day and Night only if you have one unit? are you techs only able to work with single units? I would recommend not answering the phones if you don't want business on the weekends.Penguin air came out and handle the issue not once was I asked if I had a second unit. Just find it weird and would never use or recommend this company

I had storm damage while away and came home to deal with insurance because of roof, AC/Heater damage with the casing open and return elbow vent shifted and detached from roof. My AC was only one year old. It was a Sunday and rain was expected soon. I contacted previous AC installers and 2 other companies. King was the only one who responded and offered to come out. My neighbor recommended them and I understand why. They are professional, very responsive and do a great job! Frank will work with you as well. He answered all my questions and concerns.
