We had our HVAC system go out a few months ago and needed a new unit installed, and Penguin was one of the companies we contacted for quotes. They were very responsive and prompt with scheduling an appointment, and Technician Elmer provided a great quote and information without making us feel pressured. The turnaround time on the install was great, especially considering the national labor and supply chain issues, and the install team was quick, courteous, and answered all of my questions. Everyone at the company we've worked with to date has been great and very customer-service oriented. Recommended to several people already and will continue to do so, and will use for any future home issues they provide services for.

We called for the water line to be hooked up to refrigerator and the technician followed the line to fine our reverse osmosis system was leaking under the sink and there was a large puddle of water in the cabinet. Technician was very professional and removed the system as per request and rebooked everything back up as well as the refrigerator water line and the hot and cold water lines that were beginning to leak. Very professional and did a excellent job.

All around excellent experience! I requested a quote for 2 new ac units and Ryan M reached out very quickly. He came out the next day and was very thorough and explained everything to me. He gave me a very fair quote. We did get quotes from about 7 places and at the end of the day the work that Comfort Experts was right for us. We did research and read reviews and it was the right fit for us! We called Ryan the day before thanksgiving and he got us on the schedule for the following week. They are installing today and will be done but so far they are excellent. Very hard working, very respectful, and overall we are very very happy! Definitely recommend. We will be using them for all AC needs from now on.

Howard Air installed a mini split unit in my home a year ago. We’ve had a few problems with the unit ( one requiring a new heat exchanger that took two weeks to get) and now I have a flashing LED on the indoor unit. When the LED flashes, the unit will not run. I called Howard Air to inform them of the problem. And even though I have a 10 year warranty, they told me I had to pay $98.00 for a diagnostic test. I was surprised by this but I paid it. When the tech arrived he thought there was a transformer issue, but he called someone and they told him to pull the main power breaker, wait a few minutes and plug it back in. The reset seemed to work until the next day when I got home to a warm bedroom and a flashing green LED. That prompted me to call Howard Air again. They were curious and all and I was given a Thursday morning between 7 and 12:00. I also received TWO confirmation emails. I stayed home all morning waiting for someone to arrive, and at 3:00 PM I called and was told the appointment was in the afternoon!!! I then read word for word the email I was sent, and was told there was a mixup. Now I have to wait until Monday. Heck of a way to run a business

They are amazing and go out of their way to help people. Today the heater went out within my fathers house, when I called this company I spoke with someone who truly cared and due to the circumstances went above and beyond to make sure someone was at my dads house within an hour. Long story short my father is a quadriplegic and depends on the ability to control heat and AC to regulate his body temperature. Without the heater working in winter he runs a high risk of getting pneumonia or other sicknesses. as I explained this to them they showed great concern and compassion to help my father, within an hour we had a repair man at my fathers house to fix his heater. Long story short turns out the nest thermostat was not working and needed to be replaced. Not only did they show up within an amazing timely manner the repairman took the time to reconnect the thermostat for my father and to help set up his voice control.

I can't express how happy I am with their service. My a/c went out in the middle of the night. All the big a/c companies were booked out for 3 weeks. Seriously, no joke even for emergency calls. My husband's co-worker knew these guys personally. I called them and within 2 hours they were at my house. They had the part that needed replacing on their truck. My a/c was back up and running within 30 min of their arrivial. The 2 guys were very nice and professional. This is now my new a/c company!!! Thanks again!!!

Our AC compressor stopped working on a Saturday on one of the hottest days of the year. They were able to schedule an appointment with me within a couple hours of calling. Gerald was prompt and professional with his assessment and service, and was quickly able to resolve the issue. Glad to have cold air again.

I have absolutely no idea how this company is still in business. A work order was submitted to have a technician come out to my unit between 2-4 pm. At 4:30 I called because he didn't show up and he had gone to the wrong address. For some reason they didn't consider it important to check what unit they were working on. Then, once they do show up they have no masks or gloves on and enter my apartment. Only to then say that nothing is wrong.

However, when it is 84 degrees and humid in my apartment and my AC is set to 77, it suggests that something is indeed wrong when you consider it is only 85 outside at night and in the early morning. So they send another technician who also says that he can't find anything wrong. He requests pictures of the thermostat showing the difference of temperature, which I provide. They then say it's an insulation issue. That is impossible though because I have lived in this unit through 2 summers already and have had no issues. My neighbors are also experiencing no issues with their temperatures.

Edit to respond to owner: You did not reach out to my management company when you saw the address did not match, I had to call you myself and tell you they didn't show up. Only then did you say someone would be on their way. I never received any phone call signifying a delay due your reps realizing they went to the wrong location. The fact that you would lie about this matter further highlights the issues that your company has.

You also never addressed the fact that you could not resolve my issue. Another company was brought out and the rep actually listened to me and was able to solve the problem! It was a connection issue like I had suggested multiple times which is why nothing looked wrong to your reps. Instead, your first rep chose to remove freon, and the second one said there was nothing that can be done.

My air co9nditioner quit working and the technician fixed the problems in a timely manner. The temperature was 107 so time was of the essence. They thoroughly explained the problems and pricing. I will definitely deal with them in the future. They are honest and fair.
