Best Electrical System in Phoenix AZ

TL/DR: I had the best service I could’ve asked for after interviewing and receiving over 8 quotes from other companies. Although there was a hiccup, it was resolved and I was taken care of with respect and empathy. Penguin was professional, personal, diligent, honest, informative, skilled, straight forward and down to earth. Biggest takeaway: work with Jimmy Browne!!I recently bought a house with some problems. As a digital worker, I was unfamiliar with the trades and overwhelmed by the choices I had of companies and products. Over the course of two months, I had over 10 contracting companies for HVAC, plumbing and electric come give me quotes for a new AC, water treatment system and the electrical work required for those two items. I drilled everyone that came through my door with tough questions. During this period I literally kicked contractors out of my home before they could give me a quote because I was unimpressed with their lack of knowledge.I absolutely hammered contractors with a gauntlet of well thought out questions and the winner was unequivocally Penguin Air because of Jimmy Browne. Jimmy encompassed all criteria that were critical and compulsory in my decision: honesty, empathy, intelligence, patience, integrity, thoroughness and diligence, only to name a few. Why did no other HVAC company get in the attic and check the duct work when they knew I had uneven air flow throughout my house? Why did no other water treatment company suggest running the new loop from the main water into the wall and through the attic, and rather wanted to dig up my front yard? The answer is that Penguin was diligent and thorough in their assessment of my unique scenario. During the quote, Jimmy even removed a dead bird from my attic! Add pest control to his arsenal of prowess.Jimmy made sure the price was in my budget which was above and beyond because he genuinely cared about my happiness and comfort. Other companies wanted me to buy the top of the line products with no explanation or consideration of the size of my home just because it was more expensive. The new AC was installed by Jimmy’s team and it was an excellent experience. The water treatment team encountered unexpected problems but they approached them with a positive attitude to get everything done correctly.In full disclosure, there was a large item that I felt was overlooked. Every single other company that came to give me a quote checked my water pressure. They included a pressure regulating valve (PRV) in their original quotes with the labor of the water treatment system installation because sometimes my water pressure read over 100 psi! To be as unbiased as possible, it was a little different of a situation when the plumbers came out to talk to me because they already knew I wanted a system and they proceeded without an inspection. Therefore, the PRV wasn’t included in the original work and I only noticed that after the work was completed.This led to a new quote for a price that I thought was astronomical. I communicated with the plumbers that I felt this was an oversight but they didn’t see it that way. Admittedly, I was disappointed. As I felt hopeless and started budgeting another large expense, Jimmy came through again and was my champion to his superiors. He fought for me to have the price adjusted because I was disappointed. Another display of going above and beyond.Even though there was a hiccup, everything came together and I’m so happy with everything Penguin did. I’m not sure I would have had the same experience if it weren’t for Jimmy.Edit: forgot to mention, Shawn and Jackson were the phenomenal plumbers!!

The Office Building I rent a Suite in had Lincoln Air install a New A/C unit on my suite September 2020, It seemed to work for a month or so,When I tried to use it during the winter it did not come on,I have two units in my Suite so I just used the one that worked during the Winter,Once it started to warm up in April 2021 I called Lincoln Air to let them know the unit they installed was not working,after some run around I finally got them to come out and get the Unit working,Then they sent me a $350 Bill,I called their Office to let them know they had just done the install at the end of the Summer & it was only ran once or twice,they did finally say that I didn’t owe them anything for the Repair,Now June 17th 2021 and the unit is not working again,it blew the breaker in the fuse panel,I called their Office and told them that my A/C was out again,in the middle of a Heat Wave & I was told I would be put on their emergency list,I talked to them on Tuesday & was told on the emergency list someone could be out Friday between 3:00 & 5:00,
I had to close my Office on that Friday because I had no A/C,I was called around 1:05 & told a repairman was on his way,I was heading to the Office to meet him when I received another call around 2:00 that the repairman’s Ladder was not tall enough to get on the Building,(this is the Company that installed the Unit,you would think they would know how tall of a Ladder they needed),I was told by the Lady answering the Phone that she would reach out to another Company that helps them out & call me back,
but no one called me back?,I called on Saturday Morning and left a message for a call back,but once again,no call back.
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS COMPANY HAS 5 STARS,OTHER THAN VERY FEW LEAVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS,THEN I NOTICED THEY ONLY HAD 45 REVIEWS!!

The technician was very knowledgeable and identified the problem in just 15 minutes (a wrongly wired thermostat). He was a very nice guy and very professional. He spoke highly of the company and boss. That says a lot.

Arcadia Air is friendly, thorough and professional!!! They are the kind of repair professional you wish you could always rely on when you call for any kind of household service.

They first helped us about 6 months ago in diagnosing a problem caused by the original installer. They made sure we clearly understood the problem so we could take up the issue with the original installer to correct the very poor workmanship.

Then yesterday, we turned on the AC and the air coming through was not cold. Allegedly, when the original installer corrected the other issue, my system was supposed to be in perfect condition to last several years, but once again, their claim was less than true.

We called Arcadia this morning, and fortunately Manny was able to come out today and get our system running better than it ever has before. Seriously, our house has never gotten this cold this fast!!! Once again, Manny very clearly explained the issue and answered all our questions. We are very thankful for their outstanding service!!!

Mackenzie Cajudoy was very professional and very friendly. He was honest and did not try to sell me on something that I did not need. I have a system that has 3 flappers and thermostats and it was obvious the one to the great room was not working as it would take hours to cool down if we cooked but the other zones were working just fine. He looked and saw it was not working and said it needed replaced. However, he took the extra step and double checked my flapper that was not working to make sure he would get the correct part and found that I did not need the whole system that is was just a loose wire. He fixed the wire and it is now working. He saved me and my family $1,000, and that is huge weight off of us. Thank you Mackenzie for being so honest as you could have just replaced it when it really was a simple fix. Awesome technician.

Ryan is AMAZING!! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my AC. He is very knowledgeable and was extremely thorough and informative. No hard selling, it was a refreshing change from other companies. He responds quickly and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend him and his company Comfort Experts.

Howard Air has been my go to AC service for many years. Their honesty and service are excellent. I highly recommend them.

I first encountered Five Star Air at the Home and Garden Show in Phoenix. I was looking for help with purchasing wall unit for a spare bedroom. Chuck came out, did an analysis of the current system in my house, cleaned debris from the ducts, and adjusted vents. The adjustments worked and I did not need an additional unit. Since then I have been using Five Star Air for annual maintenance. Chuck is knowledgeable and honest. I strongly recommend Five Star for HVAC repair, installation and maintenance.

I wanted to be proactive instead of reactive when buying a new AC unit.
I called many companies and then I called Mountainside Air. Tom and Steve are down to earth gentlemen. They came over and were very honest, I showed them my other quotes and everything was transparent. My gut said I can trust them. My gut was RIGHT!
I am very handy, so they let me run a dedicated duct to my master bedroom to help save some money. We scheduled the install they were on time and very aware of my schedule as well. I bought them some donuts and they went to work. My wife and I left the house and about mid day they sent some text on the progress and said they were just about done. I said great see you on the follow up. They did everything in the contract and when we got home from work everything was clean and the house was cool.
I will always call Mountainside Air for any of my needs for air conditioning and will definitely tell everyone I know about them!!

Very polite on the phone and in person. AirZona HVAC got my old swamp cooler running. I appreciate their courtesy and professional attitude even though this was a small job. I highly recommend and will definitely call them when I am ready for a new cooler, which will be a big job!

KJ's Cooling and Heating came as a recommendation. When our AC went out, I contacted Brett and he had his staff send out Treno the next morning. Treno was professional, and got the AC unit back up and running. This has been the hottest summer ever in Phoenix and these guys didn't miss a beat. I found them to be trustworthy, respectful and very professional as they were with my neighbors a couple months ago.

We highly recommend Accutemp. They have provided outstanding service for all of our commercial buildings as well as our residence for over 20 years. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our heating and cooling needs.

We called Proskill after a different company was called out by our Home Warranty company. The first company was here almost 2 hours snaking our system. After hearing them use unprofessional language during a good part of their work, they recommended $700 of additional work, suggesting our system needed to be jetted. Something didn't sit right. We knew the quality of Proskill, so we switched and were ready to spend whatever they suggested. Aaron showed up, listened to my explanation and went to work. In fifteen minutes he showed me the issue was a bad return flap. He replaced it quickly, showed me the completed work, and billed me less than $200. Done in less than 30 minutes. Great job, Proskill!!!
