Best Fire Remediation in Phoenix AZ

Needed help ASAP with a flood in our home in the middle of the night and decided to give Doan Restoration a call. I couldn’t have been happier with their response time. Brandyn made it easy to understand what all was needed to be done on the house and is a very hard worker. I’ll be using them for any future floods or fires!

A few months ago, I discovered some mold in my home and I called this mold removal firm to take care of it. They took their time, were kind, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire procedure.

They came in got right to work and explained everything and cleaned up! Jeff and Jacob were kind and accurate.

The team connected with us very fast at 1 am and said they would have a crew out by 9-10am. The team came out at the specified time and they shared their knowledge on what needed to happen. The team was very nice and never seemed annoyed with all of my questions and concerns, they took their time explaining the entire process, during a stressful time.

For context on our experience, we had a hot water heater rupture and flood half of a bedroom and a closet. We called Arizona Fire and Water Restoration Inc for help as per a recommendation from our insurance provider. They came to the house and immediately began assisting with the water that had flooded one general area. The water was removed, and then the drying process began (two fans and a dehumidifier). After a couple of days, they came back to remove the equipment. Upon departure, we were provided a written estimate/quote for the services rendered for $625.00. This seemed fair, given the time and work. We subsequently filled out the survey that came the following day with a positive review.
About 30-days later, we received a bill for $2052. I promptly contacted the company to discuss the discrepancy between the quote or estimate I had been provided vs. the bill we were being charged. The customer
service rep said she would get back to me. Getting back to me constituted them continuing to send the same invoice and me continuing to remind the person sending it to me, of the previous conversation I had had.
Finally, when it seemed no one was paying attention, my husband called and requested to speak to the General Manager, Dean Hamilton. He was told he would get a callback and didn't. He did speak to the Controller Earny Sweeney, who said he was new but would look into the matter. Again, there was no follow up. Scott sent two more subsequent emails to the controller for some resolution and got no return reply.
Several weeks later (now today), I received a text from the General Manager, Dean Hamilton, whom my husband had tried to get in touch with previously.
He said we needed to call back and pay today. Trying to work from home as everyone is right now, I immediately replied while in a virtual meeting that my husband had already responded and please follow up with him. He couldn't figure out my husband's phone number, so a few more texts ensued. Finally, I had to tell him that my husband was handling this fraudulent charge and to please quit contacting me – to which he replied: If your husband doesn't call me back, you will hear from me again. I immediately left my virtual meeting and showed my husband the texts.
Scott called the number that was texting me, extremely upset, of course. The GM said we needed to pay, and my husband asked about the 325% discrepancy between what they were billing us and what we were quoted. The GM then asked my husband if he understood the meaning of an estimate. My husband asked if this was a typical discrepancy to which the GM asked if we had a homeowner's insurance policy. Not waiting for an answer, he then asked why we weren't just submitting the bill to our insurance company. My husband noted that this was irrelevant and poor business practice regardless of who was paying, to which the GM responded: Oh well, I guess you need to pay the entire amount today, or I am filing a lien on your house tomorrow'. While shocked that a company we thought to be so reputable would treat a customer this way, there was no recourse but to pay the remaining invoice with a credit card. When my husband said he was going to file a complaint with the BBB, the GM responded, that would be fine as potential customers or insurers would only see the complaint was resolved with the customer as the bill was paid.
My only recourse now is an online review, contacting the BBB, and making sure my insurance agent no longer refers to this company. If you are ever dealing with this company, and the claim is rather small, be very wary about doing business with them. They are used to clients just paying their deductible and then over billing the insurance companies. There is no oversight in this industry, and Arizona Fire and Water Protection Inc counts on this. The practice of quoting one price and billing a 328% differential is fraudulent at best.

SERVPRO cleaned our HVAC ducts and vents and did a total cleaning following a major home remodeling. The staff worked hard and did a fantastic job removing dust from the construction that had covered everything in the house. We were very pleased with the results and the great customer service by the staff.

We have used Rocky Mountain Restoration twice now. They respond quickly and are very professional and knowledgeable. Lee came out to check the dryness and removed the machines in our home. He was quick and efficient.

We had water in the master bathroom. I reached out to my insurance company and 1-800 Water Damage came to the rescue. The service technician was great in terms of professional, efficient and cleanliness. I really appreciated that he cleaned up as he went. Tom Hodges was great throughout the process. I would highly recommend.

Restore Master was great! Our leak was detected on a Sunday morning. They were at our home within 2 hours, setup fans, moved and nicely packaged all our belongings in the affected area. Great Communication, very professional and very fair priced. Highly recommend. v

Solid company for getting your home repaired after a flood or fire

They seriously damaged the paint on my wall during cleaning and didn't provide the main service I requested. The scheduler didn't pay any attention to what I asked for (my main concern was getting a cabinet touched up). My project was to clean up after a small stove-top fire. So when viewing my quote I thought cabinet pain touchup was included and was extremely disappointed to find out from the technicians that this work would be from a completely different division. The quote was much too high considering the size of the job without touching up the cabinet. The scheduler paid no attention at all to what I needed, same for the inspector. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they misdirect you and don't care about doing a good job.

I found every one to be very helpful and willing to work with me to explain the process of repairs done. Really appreciate the constant communication from Chris Cunningham and his help in getting everything organized and executed promptly. OCDcontracting also was quick and prompt with the repairs made and did a very good job.

If you need a professional team to handle some fire damage cleanup then these guys have my recommendation. They were always on time and did really efficient work for me.

Had a need for water damage restoration services after my reverse osmosis unit leaked under my kitchen sink. Frank and Greg did a wonderful job putting back my kitchen as if it never happened in the first place . I was really worried about mold because I have kids and the service that Next Gen Restoration AZ did put my mind at ease ! If I ever have the need for emergency services in the future there will not be any question on who I would call . Highly recommend their services . Thanks guys!

I was impressed with the attention to detail and thoroughness of this fire damage restoration service. They were able to salvage many of our belongings that we thought were lost forever. The team worked quickly and effectively to restore our home to its pre-fire condition.

Eric removed the moldy cabinets in my kitchen, treated mold, was extremely communicative throughout the whole process. He flawlessly fixed my drywall after the mold was removed and he reinstalled cabinets that he found for me. Eric even matched the paint in my kitchen when he was done, and when all repairs were completed he cleaned the area. My kitchen looked like NEW, like nothing had ever happened.

I’m so thankful and highly recommend BOR. Would 100% call again if needed.
