Doan Restoration of Arizona

I came home at night to a huge flood stemming from my toilet line bursting. Several rooms were saturated with water. I had no idea how to clean up something like this so I googled the first water restoration company I could find and boy am I so thankful that Doans was the first company to pop up on my feed. They sent a crew out immediately which was after hours over the holiday weekend. Javier and Allen were the tech team that came out and they were courteous , professional, fast and answered all my questions (and I had many). They sucked up the water out the rooms and placed fans and humidifiers strategically where the water damage is. There's still lots of work to do once everything dries, but I'm beyond thankful and impressed so far with this company and crew!

This company was recommended to us by our friends at Iron Horse. They responded fast and completed the job quickly and effectively! Ricardo and Keaton were friendly and professional and truly enjoyed having them help us out with our home. Thanks guys!!

I used Don Restoration for the demolition side of a water damage claim and mold removal. I am very happy with my experience, the entire process was smooth, Ally was the person that helped me schedule everything, she was very responsive and helpful with all my questions regarding the process and what to expect. The workers that took care of everything were Russ, Chris R, and Scott, they did very good, quality work and were great at briefing me on the work that had to be done each day when I would stop by to take a look at the progress. As an accountant I also have to congratulate their Accounts Receivable department for providing such detailed documentation of the work performed as back up for the insurance regarding their billing. I would strongly recommend Don Restoration for anyone needing water damage repairs or mold removal.

We recently had a water leak in our home, causing quite a bit of damage. We contacted Doan during this very stressful time. They have done a remarkable job of removing damaged cabinets, carpet, and drywall. And, drying everything out and checking for mold. We would like to give special thanks to Russ, Brooks, Ricardo and his partner. They were professional, polite and answered all our questions. We hope the repair and restoration goes as smooth.

I was awakened in the middle of the night by gushing water and found about 2 of water flowing throughout the majority of my house. I was in a panic and fortunately called Doan Restoration. Ricardo and his crew came quickly and immediately started to remove the water and set up huge fans. Russ followed up for about 7 days until it was completely dry. I was very satisfied with the work of their entire crew - Ricardo and Russ were great!

When my bathroom ceiling collapsed on a Sunday night, raining down a large amount of attic insulation and drywall, and water dripping down, I called Doan in a panic. Russ and another worker were here within less than 45 minutes, removed all the debris, cleaned up as much as possible, and put up a temporary plastic ceiling. They installed two machines to dry out the moisture and clean the air. They worked for nearly three hours into the late night. They were very professional and efficient. Russ explained everything, so I knew what to expect, and I felt reassured that this disaster wasn't as bad as it looked.
Over the next week various crew members came back several times, checking the equipment and doing further cleanup. Russ was very accommodating to make sure he could be here when the insurance inspector came to assess the damage. That was very helpful. When I found that a couple of small items had mistakenly been taken away with the debris, I was generously compensated. Margaret in Accounts Receivable was also very nice to deal with. Overall, my experience with this company was a very positive one.

Doan Restoration crew saved my disaster situation with improperly installed windows and roof. I had major window leaks causing severe water damage which lead to mold. Also the improper installation or roof flashing cause major water damage to back wall of entire garage. The crew was able to save the frame treating the mold, demo out the damaged drywall, the fan blowers, and sealed area off. Their attention to every detail made this experience turn around. Ricardo and Wendy teamwork together was smoothly. Both clearly explaining on a daily what process was going to be completed. I highly recommend Doan for your water damage restoration. Ricardo Felipe Chris Ross were all absolutely fantastic. They explain the process they were very knowledgeable and professional. On top of that they were very courteous and responsive to all of our needs. They made what was a very difficult situation very easy to manage. Doan Restoration appeared at a very difficult time for me. My house had suddenly flooded by an overhead fire sprinkler. The whole team has been very professional, and courteous. Wes helped me by recommending content removers, a contractor, and art restorers as well. He was very knowledgeable and has good connections and experience. I was not told that they don’t repair damaged walls until after they billed me. I was told they would remove damaged walls then come back to complete the job. I was then referred to another company to finish repairs. I guess I need to look up the definition of restoration in Webster dictionary. I feel taken advantaged of.

I would highly recommend this company. There team of professionals responded quickly to our home when our son flooded the bathroom having too much fun in the tub . They thoroughly evaluated the damage And set up drying equipment to ensure everything was dried out properly. They helped with every step including walking us through the insurance process. The Doan team turned what could have been a disaster into a relatively easy (for me) cleanup job. Within an hour of finding the broken pipe, our insurance company had contacted Doan and they were at our facility working on cleanup. The entire team (I take names!) of Chandler, Eddie, Johnny, Scott, Jakob and Chris were knowledgeable, helpful and polite to a man. Interface with the insurance company was a breeze, and the damage was minimized due to their quick response in both arriving and getting right to work moving things out of harm's way. I can't think of how bad this water leak (more like a waterfall) could have been without them.

Our commercial building was sold and scheduled to close within 16 days of the flooding. They got all of the drying done and all of the repairs completed in less than 10 days. This even included some drywall restoration and painting!

Chandler reviewed each step of their process with me and took care of everything. It really helped relieve my high anxiety knowing that we had such a great group of professionals on the job that knew exactly what to do.

Ricardo and Ryan were very helpful, timely and did a great job to ensure my job was completed timely and carefully. The whole process went extremely smoothly, and Doan coordinated everything!

DOAN restoration has started a project to repair our house and it has been a pleasure to hire them. Working with Doan Restoration is fairly easy because their communication is excellent. Their technicians showed up on time to most appointments and did not cancel any appointments while I worked with them. Their overall quality and cleanliness is good but has some room for improvement. Overall customer service is good too. The technicians who went to my house worked fast and finished the work within a reasonable amount of time.

Respect for property and privacy received a 2 out 5 due to a few issues. Firstly, the technicians who worked at my house did not ask for permission to enter rooms and open closets. They behaved as if they owned my house and even locked one of my doors while working; this was a concern.

They did not ask for permission to move any of my furniture either. One of the technicians could not figure out that my desk, which held sensitive computer equipment, was anchored to the wall. He decided to brute-force his way through and yanked the desk from the wall, anchors and all. This could have been avoided if I was consulted first. I requested that a portion of the compromised drywall be removed to address the issue.

The first cut of drywall ended up being too small. After a brief explanation in structural mechanics to the technician, a second portion of drywall was cut to properly address the issue. The star rating in this review was rounded up to 4 to reflect the fact that Doan made things right after the mistake.

My recommendation to Doan is to retrain technicians to ask for owner's permission before moving furniture, opening closets, walking freely throughout the house, or entering rooms. Good communication with the customer is essential to build trust.

Update 06/28/2020
Today I received a Pre-Lien letter from Doan's lien processing company in the mail. Basically, Doan is threatening to take legal action against me if they do not receive payment for their services. I find it odd, and distasteful, that Doan would send this to me since they have my claim number and will be paid directly by my insurance company. Additionally, this is the second time I contracted Doan for water mitigation. They already have a positive history with me as a customer and they know that both myself and my insurance carrier work very fast. They were paid in full the first time and they will be paid in full a second time as well. However, this will also be the last time I work with Doan going forward. I've decided to remove half a star from the overall rating due to this letter and I can no longer recommend this company to anyone. I highly suggest looking for a better alternative.

Michael and Chris of Doan Restoration were prompt, professional, friendly, efficient, patient, informative, tidy...pretty much ideal. A welcome relief after waking up to a leaking water heater that seeped into the interior walls. I especially appreciated they figured out a way to cut out drywall & access the wet areas without disconnecting & moving the water heater, washer, and dryer for the 2-3 days of drying. May you never need their services but thankful they are here.

Ricardo is been professional in approaching and while working inside the house and explained the details to me what they have been doing and the importance of why they are pulling the dry wall and ceiling. Thank you for coming.

Hi, we had a major water leak in iur kitchen. Doan showed up quickly. They dried the floors, set out 25 fans and humidifiers. They were able to save our engineered hardwood floors in the office and master. Their crew was always on time, they all wore masks. I would highly recommend this company. Jakob was amazing. He answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable. He walked me through the process. Doans are helping us with everything. No worries. This is a great company.

Do not use. Worst customer service. They came in did not do medication. Put two dehumidifiers in. Was told by my insurance company that they wanted Daily moisture readings which they never did they never Told me how much it was going to be. One of the humidifiers leaked all of my wood floor causing more damage than prior took them two days to change it out. They told me they would give me an invoice by Monday September 27th from a flood that happened about the first of the month. They inflated the bill to give to the insurance company. When I told them the insurance company was not involved They tried getting money from the insurance company and from me Can you call multiple times have to leave messages with no return phone calls back. I don’t know how they’re still in business.

Doan Restoration was so helpful to us when we had a flooding last week. They were quick to come about and were so very informative throughout the whole process. This was our first ever flooding in our home so obviously we were frantic but they helped us feel more calm and more positive about the situation being fixed and cleaned up. I would definitely recommend Doan Restoration for any clean up job you need they are really good at what they do.

Doan Restoration, and especially Brandon, did an excellent job of clean up after a disastrous flooding when a furnace company dropped our new furnace on a water pipe, which flooded our house. Brandon came in on a Friday evening and got everything cleaned up. He installed fans and dehumidifiers throughout the house. He coordinated excellent follow up work and helped us so much to understand all the steps needed to get our home repaired.

Doan restoration is an amazing company they have helped me in a time of need they came at 1 am and where here so fast to get this water out of my home. There lead Michael explained everything and how it all works and he made it so much easier his team was also so friendly.

Our roof leaked awhile back and Doan Restoration came to the Rescue! We met one of their employees, Brandyn, who checked every inch of the house and quickly took out all damaged items without doing any unnecessary work. They even talked to our insurance inspector/adjuster for me as they were both here at the same time. Will definitely be using them again if ever needed!

Had s ceiling leak in the kitchen. They brought out a dehumidifier and small floor fan. They were called by our insurance company. Our insurance would not cover it. Point is, that they dropped the equipment off, picked it up 5 days later. Nothing else was done. We received a bill for $1254.00. I could have done the same thing for nothing. I could see maybe $600, but $1254 was outrageous. Suggest you get a price quote if insurance does not cover it.

plumber did not solder water pipes correctly over the weekend. Water dripped all weekend through floor and into the living room, I called Doan Restoration , then right away 2 techs showed up to dry my problem away. We discovered our flood at 9:00 PM. Their crew arrived at 1:00 AM and in the next 4 1/2 hours removed wet carpet, vacuumed up loose water and set lots of dryers and several dehumidifiers to continue the drying process. They came back in couple days to verify progress. At that time they focused a few fans on a couple not-yet-completely-dry spots for one final day. They're very knowledgeable and professional.

No one wants to have to have fire, water or mold clean up. But if you do, these are the people you need to use. The fire clean up at my sister's house went smoothly with professional customer service, personal attention from Wes-the owner, and such a tremendous job that upon return to her home, it looked better than before! These folks are top notch.
