Best Drains Clogged in Denver CO

We purchased a new house four years ago and have had a strong sewer smell in our laundry room on and off ever since day one. Our new home warranty through Lennar/CalAtlantic sent their plumber out several times over the course of two years trying to diagnose the issue. When they were unable to find out what the problem was, they eventually gave up on us and we were forced to find other plumbers. We had three or four different plumbing companies out who also could not find the problem and made no real effort to stick with it through resolution.I contacted Done Plumbing a couple of weeks ago and John came out to inspect and discuss with me. He was extremely empathetic and listened very closely to my long story about what was previously done, what we were experiencing, etc. I can't even begin to express how much it meant to me to feel validated that this was indeed a serious problem and to be reassured that he would get to the bottom of it no matter how long it took. Another gentleman, James, was also brought in to help with a series of more complex diagnosing (smoke test, attic and roof access and inspection, and much more).John gave me his personal number and kept me updated all along the way. They were very transparent about the price and never went above what was agreed upon even in such an unknown situation. They were very thorough and located the problem, along with another unrelated issue, and resolved a four year battle that made me want to move out of my home! There ended up being a completely open pipe in our drywall that was emitting sewer gas (never capped).I appreciate these two men so much and will not even consider another plumber again. Their professionalism, communication and customer service was absolutely exemplary. I am so grateful to them and their company. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable plumber! Give these two men a raise immediately!

The boiler in the property was quite old. Naturally, on one of the coldest days of the year, the boiler decided to quit working. I spent an hour calling essentially twenty different companies before speaking with Jessica at Prime. She was able to get Nate to come to our house the following morning, where he fixed the boiler. He also gave us a very reasonable quote for the boiler replacement.

Alex was great! He was professional, timely and while I know nothing about water heaters I can see the quality of his work. We were able to get a quote and install same day. Everything is neat and clean. The water heater is working great! I highly recommend!

Be careful when using Tony Capra Plumbing and heating... if they show up at your door and do no work, they will charge you $205!

On their web site they have a section that is titled Fair Pricing at Tony Capra Plumbing and Heating they go on to say We are a trustworthy business and only charge for products and services provided. That is why we have chosen to stand by our traditional method while other companies have changed to upfront pricing.

Clearly $205 to show up is an up from charge... One that they do NOT explain to you when you schedule an appointment.

I called to discuss my invoice and they basically said we don't care what you think...we don't care that this charge was not explained to you...our prices are the best in the Denver area (so not true)

Feels like they pulled a fast one on me, and I would highly recommend you get an estimate on the phone before they arrive or it will cost you $205 before they do any work.

When I called to discuss this I spoke with Carlo, he had no desire to discuss this with me and said that's they way we do it... I am sorry no one explained that to you up front.

I told Carlo I would pay their bill, but never use them again. He did not care at all, made it seem like I did something wrong. Great job Carlo, I appreciate your complete lack of care and your willingness to lose a customer.

Unless you want to be overcharged...
Stay away from Tony Capra Plumbing and heating.

Only reason I gave them one star is because I couldn’t do zero, worst experience I had with a company that claims to be professional. Called about 7 times to reach a manager to address my complaint and when finally got a hold of him he said they would mail me my money back in 7 days well it’s been over a month. Honestly stay away

I was concerned when I first got an ETA, as I learned that they were sending me a technician all the way from Colorado Springs out here to Divide. However, once Mike got here, he was absolutely wonderful. He informed us of how different septic systems can be from using city plumbing, and gave us tips on what products to use and not use, and how to keep our system running great in the future. He informed us of the costs before he began, and took great care to make sure we were in the loop with what he was doing at all times. By the time he had finished, we felt confident in our abilities to maintain this system without any significant problems in the future. Would definitely recommend!

I had an excellent experience with the technician Kevin on Sunday 29 March 2020. Then the field supervisor came by to make sure all was well. I can not tell you how happy i am with the service I have received.

Swan's team was very gracious, from Melissa and Gene at the office scheduling and keeping me updated on when to expect the service member... to Drilon who came to work at my home. He was very helpful and direct about what the problem was with my furnace, making it clear the flame sensor just had to be cleaned in order to get everything working in minutes. I really appreciated his patience explaining it to me and answering my questions. Thank you!Update two months later when the pressure sensor went out. Swan managed to fit me in the afternoon of the day I called. Shane did a great job, not only diagnosing the problem, but getting the replacement part and installing it, and explaining to me very graciously the issue, all within the two-hour appointment window.Update 7/8/2020: Jon came out to figure out why my garbage disposal was not working. Not only did he do a very good job of wearing a mask and respecting my quarantine requirements, but he figured out the problem and got it fixed within half an hour. He also graciously gave me an estimate for a new garbage disposal when this one is no longer able to be repaired because it's an old one. Thanks Jon!Update 10/29/2021: Google, I wish you'd let reviewers write multiple reviews instead of making us update the existing one...On 10/26/2021 Detlef and Jamison replaced my current (OLD) standard water heater with a new Navien tankless unit, which included installation of a new gas line (from the meter), capping off the old lower-capacity line, and also replaced my current water shut-off knob with a lever and pressure reducing valve, and re-setting my toilet on a new wax seal to stop a mild leak. Scott did the electrical part quickly and helpfully so the new outlet is usefully located. LOTS of work got done in one day with them doing a good job of protecting the rest of my house, and leaving every place they touched cleaner than when they arrived. They were kind, patiently explained things when I needed to choose between options, and professional the whole time, not leaving before completing the paperwork for my Xcel Energy rebate for a high-efficiency unit. THANK YOU BOTH so much.

Charles and his crew did a great job. When I called Charles immediately checked for time to come out. Which was the next day. Great communication on what work was being done. And reasonable pricing!

I LOVE Bill and his team at Key Plumbing - I literally cannot speak highly enough of them. My latest experience with them was when they very quickly responded to a burst pipe following the freezing temps here. The repaired it quickly for a great price and were super friendly and helpful. Proactive Sewer and Drain were awesome to work with. I had a break in my sewer line that I needed to get fixed. Not only was Proactive able to give me a fair and reasonable quote (that was $2k under what other companies gave me for a smaller fix), but they also were upfront with me as to what the cost would be if I ended up having to replace the entire sewer line (as opposed to other companies that purposely left that open ended).

At the end of the day, if you want quality work at fair prices, with transparent and super respectful folks, trust Proactive!!
