They were great to work with from the first phone call. The office staff is amazing! The technician showed up promptly and fixed an outdoor spigot which was leaking into the basement. The tech also suggested installing a sump pump in our basement, which saved us from having our basement flood when we had heavy rains. They are now our go to for any plumbing issues!

I had a leak coming from my ceiling/top floor into my kitchen and coming through a light fixture. I called out Drain Terrier to find the source of the leak and fix whatever was leaking. They came out the same day and performed a leak search by testing bathroom fixtures upstairs. They found the leak in less than an hour and repaired the toilet which was not seated properly. The technician explained everything and was very professional and friendly. Great service and would definitely recommend! I’ve found my local plumber!

5/5 stars for the technician who came, John - he was professional, efficient, and did a great job replacing a broken, leaking garbage disposal.

One star lost for the company due to a pricing snafu - when getting a quote, I had asked if the price included the replacement garbage disposal or if the replacement was extra on top of the quote and was told the quote included the replacement unit.

Turns out that wasn't accurate and to both our chagrin, John had to go back out to pick one up for the replacement since I didn't have one on hand - thinking that was included in the overall cost - which then became an unexpected added cost.

Definitely NOT the technician's fault and I feel he went above and beyond with the last minute need to go out and get the replacement unit and parts as I needed to get the unit swapped out ASAP.

Upon his return, within 45 minutes, John had us back up and running with a functional garbage disposal with no leaks.

If you work with Drain Terrier, ask for John - even with the snafu, if they have technicians like him employed, I'll give them another chance for my next plumbing need - but I'll be triple-checking the overall expected cost before booking again.

The customer service is good, but I was charged for issues that were not addressable. I had slow draining issue in showers, the professionals assessed and realised it was due to small pipes in the old house, floor slope issue etc - but I still got charged about $230+ for “unclogging” these two showers - which I feel was unfair. I did have real clogging issue in the kitchen sink and one other bathroom, which was efficiently addressed by their team. But I feel 900$ for unclogging 1 kitchen sink, and 3 shower drains are a little too pricey (2/3 showers did not even needed professional unclogging for the issue i had). So a little disappointed. John and his partner were both pleasant and efficient. They explained what they were going to do and got right to work. Cleared up my problem. Cleaned up after themselves. Thanks for the great job.

I needed the sewer line scoped to see if I need to replace the sewer line. Next day service from the time I called to make the appointment. They showed me the live camera footage and walked me through what was good and bad. I expected to begrudgingly have to replace from my home to the service line. Permits are already being pulled. Repairs will start 1-2 days. Family owned and operated. Fair estimate. Lovely , knowledgeable, and kind. It is sometimes hard to know when I am being taken advantage of but not in this case. Very trustworthy.

Paid a premium price to get video image of roots in sewer line for insurance as well as root cleanout. Never received the video after numerous requests even though I saw an image on his phone. Also cleanout wasn’t performed adequately, said he didn’t have the right equipment and a lot of roots remained as evidenced by another company.

Ben and John were great. They replaced a leaky hose on the bottom of toilet tank and were professionals! We have had two excellent experiences with Drain Terrier.

Benjamin helped clear the main line at our house. He arrived on time, was professional, and friendly. He left the area clean and was upfront about cost before starting any work. Response time from the company was quick, which was why I chose them. After working with them, I'd use them again. Locally owned and operated is always a plus, especially when they offer solid service.

We used this company to do some fixes on our townhome following some issues after our inspection. Tracey scheduled our first appointment for Friday, Oct 28 - they never arrived. Called and spoke to Tracey again .. said they'd make it right and come first thing Saturday morning - never arrived. I called at 1pm (Oct 29) to ask if they intended to come at any point during the day. Got a “oh so sorry we’ll get you taken care of” comment. When they finally arrived, they gave us two quotes for two separate issues: $250 for cleaning main drain and $125 for a new PRV & pressure check. Set an apt for them to come back to complete the two fixes for Fri, Nov 4. Ben and Gary came out, fixed the two issues and then charged us $750. Not at all what was agreed upon. We also have never received the report we asked for to show the items were fixed. Nor have we received a video that shows the clear drain, which we explicitly asked for. Company does not appear responsive to the needs of the clients. Very, very disappointed and will not use them again.

We have had them at our house 4 times in the last year and they are always on time, professional and can quickly identify the problem at hand. This is a great plumbing company, they were very responsive, on time, knowledgeable and affordable dealing with a clogged bathtub drain. We’ll definitely be calling them again in the future.

Savannah and Tracey are great to work with. Very professional and the works gets done correctly. I have used them several times as I do fix and flips. They have very competitive prices as well. I had a major issue with my sewer line, in that the city tap was almost level with the house drain so there was very very little slope. No fault of Drain Terrier, but rather the home builder and/or city engineers. Savannah was very helpful and professional in helping me and the new buyers (I was flipping it) understand the issues and put us at ease. She reached out to the buyers on more than one occasion to make sure they understood the situation. They were very knowledgeable in regards to this unusual situation. Highly recommend. I use them for all my sewer issues with fix and flips.

Best in the area. Great prices, very courteous plumbers and on time makes them the best plumbers in the area. Having a 9yr & 12yr daughters, though they are little manage to clog one drain or another in our home at least every couple months. I've had a number of the larger plumbing companies come out for service and none of them were as good as these guys. My home is 46 years old so I'll definitely be calling them again :)

Shower drain was clogged. We have a snake that runs 3 ft but not for shower drains. Drain Terrier came out and ran a snake 15-20 ft down and cleared all the hair that clogged our drain. Once it was cleared he cleaned up the shower and bleached the pan. So not only did they fix the problem, they cleaned and bleached my shower too before leaving. Total was $225. I tipped the tech $50 for doing a great job. I definitely recognize this company to others.

Do not recommend. I’m sorry, it’s a month’ish later and I’m still irritated that I paid them $250 only to leave me with a bigger problem. They used a hydro jet on a sewer line blockage and flooded my new laundry room. I had to spend more money to get another company out that 1.) said hydro jetting was a huge mistake 2.) cleared the clog with no issue in very little time 3.) that I should’ve just had come out bc I had good previous experience with them. I had to rent a carpet cleaner ($50+ including shampoo) to clean and move my washer and sink to clean the dried sewage up that flooded underneath. Nice enough guys, just didn’t do well in this respect.

I had two leaks in different areas start on Sunday afternoon, one resulting in pipe replacement and another requiring drain cleaning. Within 24 hours Drain Terrier arrived at my home and had both fixes fully done with everything working. Very professional service, and answered all my plumbing questions while they were here. I will be using Drain Terrier for all my plumbing services going forward, they have made a customer for life. Thank you so much for the quick response and work, it helps put my mind at ease knowing my home is safe.

Would give them 6 stars if I could. Friendly, communicated well, and helped me diagnose a pretty complicated shower leak quickly. Didn’t gouge me for a service call like some do. After having dealt with a lot of loser plumbers with my homes and rental properties, these guys are the only people I will call with issues in the future. Highly recommend.

Drain Terrier is the GO-TO drain fixers. They answered the phone right away. Treated us like family 🤠. Kept in great contact with me. Showed up when they said they would. Tracy their field manager handled my issue with great care. I'm going to call them again when I need to.

The entire Drain Terrier crew was great. The office team was very responsive and able to have plumbers come out promptly. The plumbers were on time, driving a company van, wearing company uniforms and were able to identify our issues quickly. I appreciated them talking us through what was happening and what was required to properly fix the problems. They clearly had a mastery over plumbing but were also very knowledgeable about general home construction. After the initial assessment they provided a detailed invoice with costs associated with each item. Their prices came in below other quotes. When they fixed our issues the work was noticeably better than what was in its place before. They left our home cleaner than they found it and even raked the dirt driveway where some equipment had left track marks. Many contractors like to say that they go above and beyond but Drain Terrier actually does.

John was very knowledgeable about the different systems in the home. He took time to teach me how they all work together and how to ensure that they are working over time. He has no interest in charging me for quick easy fixes and gave me a great price on the work to replace a sump pump with an external, extended drain system.

I’ve been arguing with myself on whether or not to post this, but I feel like my experience has been less than spectacular. I called Drain Terrier last week to come and give me a quote for replacing some floor drains (as they kept backing up and the drains have seen better days). When I called, I was promptly scheduled for a mid-morning appointment. Lisa and Savannah were both super nice and professional. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. I get a call about 30 minutes before my appointment that other jobs are taking longer than expected and was asked if we could move my appointment back (understandable, and I mean, I get it). So my appointment was moved back by a few hours. This happened one more time that day and my technicians, Gary and another, finally came around 4-5 pm. They were friendly and courteous and listened to what I was concerned about. They didn’t have the proper equipment with them to scope my floor drains so we scheduled another appointment for the following day. The next day, Gary and a different guy, show up right on time and with the right equipment. They quickly scoped my floor drains and found two really bad dips and really bad scaling/corrosion within the cast iron and recommended replacing all cast iron in my basement. I requested a quote for that and they mentioned that I would receive the scope video in my email shortly after my appointment. Fast forward a week, my sewer has backed up a couple more times and I’ve had a couple other plumbers out to give me quotes (doing my due diligence, they’re actually pretty competitively priced) and I still have not received a scope video. I’ve called and been told twice that “we will have it to you by the end of the day.” We will see if I actually ever get it. Due to the issues above, I would probably not recommend this company to a friend nor use their services again.

These guys are fantastic! We had some drains backup over the weekend and they came the same day we called. Cleared the whole problem. They were incredibly friendly and sweet, even to our butthead puppy. The other thing I loved is they explained what the problem was and how they fixed it. This company does NOT nickel and dime you, you get a great value for what you pay.

On top of this great service. We noticed the hot water stopped working and they came back the next day to look at the water heater. The issue was a wiring with the water heater and they fixed it in 5 minutes. They are worth every penny.

Drain Terrier is the way to go! They were professional, courteous, and responsive. When I wasn't totally convinced with the first assessment they gave me, they heard me out and double-checked their work. Worth every penny! Definitely using again!!!

August 2022: Pipes started thumping near the water meter and diagnosed it as a defective pressure reducing valve. Terrier came out the next day (free visit) to check and confirmed the issue, and offered to repair it same day. The service price was reasonable. The utility company said they’ve seen some plumbers charge 2-3x what I paid for my service. Another big plus was that the service guys were dog people and let my lab hang around. Would use again.

Yesterday around lunch time, we had our main line shut off valve completely blow and was spewing water everywhere. We were able to get it to stop spewing water, but water to our house was completely off. Not ideal for a family of five with little kids that need to use the potty :). I had exhausted all emergency plumbers on google and was about to just accept that we would be waterless for the day. By chance, I noticed there was one I had not called, Drain Terriers. I threw the hail mary and they came to the rescue! A few of my favorite things: same day service within a few hours, text follow up notifications, courteous, professional, reasonably priced, AND family-owned. Will be my go-to for plumbing needs in the future. The replacement on the main line valve was quality and they were able to replace an outside spigot that had burst in the same trip.

The guys at Drain Terrier refitted the plumbing of my standing shower into a tub and shower system. They did it all from cutting the foundation, fixing the drain, adding concrete, leveling and setting the tub, and prepping the new faucets exactly like I asked.

The project took a few days over the span of a week because of all the different steps that including waiting for the concrete to dry, but the guys did a great job and tried to explain the plumbing to me even though some of it went over my head!

They even went above the scope of the project to adjust my toilet valve for free when I asked about adding it to the project. This is a small local owned business that deserves to be supported by the community!

John and Craig came out to install a new sump pump for my home. They were timely and professional the whole way through. Reasonable rates and John took the time to educate me on some maintenance tips going forward.

Very professional and friendly staff. However, receiving an estimate from them shouldn't be the last. I was given a estimates of $2300 and $2800 for two different problems. Another reputable company did the first job in the same manner for $300 and advised me on how to fix the second project myself if I didn't want to spend money doing it.

Savannah was very quick to get us set up and Brian was prompt, professional, and did the job well without leaving a mess! I would recommend this company.

I reached out around 9:45pm and we had Benjamin here the next morning to help us. Tracy is so kind. There was a mix up with the time and she apologized and did all she could to get the technician to us sooner. He ended up getting there earlier than we originally requested. The work was progressional and thorough and as new homeowners we really appreciated the tidbits of advice Benjamin gave us, from the best types of faucets on the market to do’s and don’ts with our garbage disposal. We were so pleased with the service Drain Terrier provided and would use them for any plumbing needs. You should, too! Professional, competent, punctual, and good at what they do! Book now!

John was extremely professional and friendly. Apparently it was his first day with Drain Terrier but you would never know. He explained everything he was doing and was able to offer a very fair price in replacing our washer hookups. He even noticed a leak in the hot water hose after he was done (unrelated to the main reason I called) and took care of that too. I will definitely use Drain Terrier again for future projects or emergencies.

The original appointment was not met. I booked it with them, they dropped the ball. The second appointment, I tried to confirm via text, no reply. Finally I called that morning to confirm. I had the first appointment, he would be there at 9. At 9:10 I had to call back, I was then told it is a window from 9 to 10. 9:45 arrival. When he looked at the pipes, he had to go out to get the correct shut off valves. He did not have them with him. For 15 minutes of work, I was not fond of the price, but what can you do? It would be better for up front pricing. Changing a shut off valve costs this much. Communication and Customer Service is key. They need to get that part fixed.

These guys were beyond amazing. Very knowledgeable and detailed. They took their time to find a potential leak. Gave me a very simple solution and decided not to charge me for their time. This level of integrity in ethics is hard to find. I would work with them any day for my plumbing needs.

Several years ago we replaced our main sewer line and thought that our sewer backup problems were behind us. However, we were not so fortunate. Over the weekend we had out-of-town guests stay with us. They used the finished basement and bathroom, and sure enough, the sewer backed up while they were here. We called Drain Terrier around mid-afternoon on a snowy day to see if they could help us. They weren't able to get to our house that day, but they were here first thing the next morning. In working with Terry, we came to realize that about 90% of all of the bathroom drainage in our house comes to the same choke-point on its way to the main sewer line. Terry, therefore, recommended that we replace our 30-year old basement toilet with a power-flush toilet. Great idea, and he and his assistant did a great job installing it. Time will tell if this finally fixes our problem, but we're grateful, nonetheless, for Drain Terrier's excellent work.

Drainer terrier is such a great plumbing business to work with. We had bad plumbing put in our house and they helped to replumb it, jack hammer out and rip out old plumbing and install new pieces. We are so relieved it is fixed.

Really happy I found Drain Terrier. I chose them based on reviews, their family business story and the fact they are pet friendly and give back with donations to the Humane Society. Their cute signature dog helped too. :) Very pleased with Savannah's customer service setting up the appointment by phone and dad/owner Tracy's service visit. He's a laidback, happy guy who was friendly, efficient with my two clogged drains (I kept putting off calling someone, but the second drain clog made me do it), overall he's experienced and knowledgeable. He even gave me a quick lesson in bathtub drain-snaking. His magnet business card is on my fridge for easy contact when the next drain issue arises in my old house. Money well spent...and P.S., Price was very reasonable, a flat agreed-upon fee with no hidden charges.

The Drain Terrier team has been a critical player in our kitchen remodel including replacing our 30 year old water heater and installing a new faucet and garbage disposal. When we needed the team to help with an unexpected full home repipe (from old rusted out galvanized), they got the job done in 2 short days at a reasonable cost which really helped to alleviate some of the stress that comes with an unexpected (and serious) home repair.

By phone, Tracy quickly walked me through turning off my hot water heater and draining the pipe. He and Gary wore masks, swept up using their own broom, sanitized their hands before entering and upon exiting, and completed the job quickly. I needed a drain fixed immediately and they came same day even though they were very busy! It was apparent they cared about helping us. They were extremely friendly and got the job done! There was no emergency fees or extra cost even though it was an emergency on a Sunday. We will definitely call them in the future for our plumbing needs!!!

The sink was leaking, but it stopped before he came to look at it. He took some time to really see if there was a leak, but nothing happened so he suggested we take a picture and video the leak and then call them once we have that to better diagnose what’s happening. Thank you!

My wife called Drain Terrier after our kitchen drain started backing up. They were willing to come out to SE Aurora later that day after 4PM since my wife is a teacher and I had to work late. After quickly determining where the clog was located, Tracy asked where the clean out in the basement was located and got to work after carefully covering the carpet. After clearing the clog, he ensured that the clean out cover was secured and leak free. After he was done, the area was surprisingly clean. Tracy charged us a fair price for providing us a free flowing kitchen drain. Tracy is friendly as well as knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely call Drain Terrier again for any future plumbing work.

As everything was starting to settle down for the day, my downstairs toilet and shower backed up and overflowed. Feces and water poured out and covered the bathroom floor. After normal business hours, Drain Terrier was able to get there quick, knew how to address the problem, fixed it, and even helped clean up a bit. I highly recommend them for such an emergency.

This company has stellar service and know their stuff! The unclogged my main and scoped with a camera to show the roots growing in them, plus told me to buy some root killer for the pipes. Great team!!!
