Ask for second opinion!!
I had a clog on my second line, they came quickly (on Saturday) and fix it. Then, using a scope I was told that my pipes had cracks, holes and it was in a very bad shape suggesting a 10 ft replacement. The quote was for $4,267.89.
I had another person to check for second opinion and I was shown that there were no cracks or holes and THERE WAS NO NEED TO FIX/REPLACE ANYTHING !!! Ask for second opinion if they tell you you need to replace anything!!!!

I worked for this business, back when I was an apprentice and learning the trade. I wasn’t the smartest plumber, but I was honest. That’s something I can genuinely not say for this company. Along with asking me to put dry concrete mix into a sewer line, there were other dirty tactics that Alphonso and Connor would utilize to try and sell something. I’m writing this review a SECOND time because I hope at least one person will read this and use another plumbing service. This company is no good

I needed a plumber late in the evening and Will came out to inspect the clog. I ended up needing a new toilet, and he was so kind and efficient. It was late but he was able to go buy a new toilet for me and replaced it so quickly. Great price and he was wonderful. I would recommend Will for any services needed.

Took over 3 months for an Emergency to be rectified.
Scam artists. The main issue was an ‘Emergency Call’ for the drain from the kitchen and then got expanded to a complete main drain replacement/repair… there was never a temporary line run from the kitchen, leaving it unusable. Charged extra for dirt that was never removed, didn’t get proper certification for work done which meant it had to be done twice. Temporary line was never put together properly causing sewage to flood into the pit. Their excavator drivers each hit at least one item on the property, the biggest of which was an underground water, data and electrical bundle (see photo).

If I could give them a negative number I would. I have made multiple (too many) phone calls requesting a corrected invoice so that my insurance company will reimburse me for the $11,000 dollars I paid them to fix a sewer line. State Farm has also made the requests. I just keep getting the runaround. I have used Royal Rooter many times in the past and they have always been excellent. Elite Rooter has been very UNreliable!!!

Summary: Elite was unable to unclog our toilet and replaced it instead - but did so improperly.  We were left with a heavy leak and an improperly sealed and rocking toilet. They were unresponsive when we tried to have them come out and fix it so we had to pay another company to fix their faulty work and had to partially refund an Airbnb guest for the inconvenience they caused. We understand that mistakes happen and have asked for a refund but they seem disinterested and haven't even bothered to call us back (as of 25 March 2023).

Details: We had Elite Rooter out to clear a toilet that was clogged by a guest at our Airbnb. The technician was friendly and tried hard to unclog it but said an object was lodged deep inside so the toilet needed to be replaced entirely.  We had new guests arriving within a few hours so we authorized the $599 replacement in hopes the problem would be resolved quickly.  However, after the toilet was installed and the technician left we found that the toilet water valve was still turned off and when we turned it on the shark bite connection began leaking very heavily (soaking an entire bath towel in a couple minutes).  Clearly the technician hadn't confirmed everything was functioning properly before he left.

The technician returned but didn't have the correct tool (a pex crimper) to fix the problem.  He called a different technician who had the tool and assured us he would be out to fix it by 9am the following morning. This now meant that our guests would be inconvenienced by having one toilet (of two toilets in the property)broken and a service call to deal with, but we agreed based on the promise they'd be there by 9am and this would be over with.  When we called that evening to confirm, the receptionist didn't know anything about the situation and said she would have the technician call us.  We did not receive a call from the technician, so we called again at 7:30 the following morning but the receptionist (a new one) again did not know anything about the situation and could not confirm that the plumber would be there at 9am, simply stating that the technicians manage their own schedules. She offered to make a new appointment window but failed to address the fact that our guests' expectations were based on Elite's promise of a 9am resolution.

Feeling that Elite was either too disorganized or too uncaring to reliably complete their own unfinished work without further inconveniencing our guests, we called High Five plumbing who had a technician out within a couple of hours, at the exact time they promised.  High Five discovered that not only was the shark bite connection leaking, but the newly-installed toilet was improperly sealed and rocking badly (we have used High Five many times and trust the competence and honesty of their plumbers a great deal).  After paying High Five to fix Elite's work and partialy refunding our guests for the inconvenience caused, we were out more than double what we originally paid Elite.

When we called Elite for a refund they were disinterested and said they would call us back but never did.  I called again today and was told that management put a note in the system saying that we would not be refunded because the leak was a pre-existing issue! We also plan to lodge a BBB complaint, but understand communication within a company can be difficult, so we're holding out for a week in hopes that Elite will demonstrate some concern for customer service and contact us for a resolution.  If they do, I will amend this review.

It's been a while, but when this company initially installed access points into my sewage system, the process took way longer than advertised, they destroyed my garden by digging into the wrong side initially, and they couldn't even get the height of the pipes correct enough to keep them capped off, but they also did such and unbelievably poor job of putting the dirt back in place that I've had a sinkhole open up. Avoid this company AT ALL COSTS.

My kitchen sink was not draining because of my garbage disposal. I called around for a plumber and ended up going with elite rooter. Will came to my house and fixed the sink without any problems. I tried draino but had no luck. I give MAJOR props to Will for helping get all the nasty stuff out of my sink and being so patient with my wild household. He was awesome!

WE where selling our house and the buyer ask for a scope of the sewer line. The scope showed we had roots pushing apart the joints. The came and fixed the sewer in and we were able to complete the sale of the house. They were professional and efficient.

Robert was courteous and very prompt with any questions I had...the work he did went pretty fast and i was surprised he didn't leave a mess in the small space he had to work in

Why does plumbing always seem to break at the most inappropriate time? Cody, from Elite Rooter, stopped by when he said he would with the correct part and fixed the inner workings of our wall mounted bathtub faucet that had chosen the exact moment to break when I wanted to take a bath several hours before! I turned the faucet on but couldn’t get the water to turn off so we had to turn the water off to the entire house until it was repaired!! Cody was efficient, friendly, courteous, and highly skilled. It’s amazing how quickly something can be repaired when you have the knowledge and right tools. We highly recommend you using Elite Rooter for your plumbing needs.

I recommend not using! I am a new female homeowner and they took advantage! I had called for a simple snake clear out. The tech ended up breaking it in the drain. He called his manager and he came out 45 mins later I came outside wondering the problem I was informed what happen and it would be 6000 they can start today because I’m no longer in service. After not agreeing they came back with 3000 just to dig and find out more of the issue. I asked to speak to manager Augustin and he was very rude I asked for his number and he said no I can deal with the guy who came out. I needed time to figure out options after a week I reached out to Augustine no return call or anything it’s been a month. Do yourself a favor and don’t use them! Known to break snakes in the drain

I cannot say enough good things about Elite. I am really shocked at some of the reviews below. For my experience it was easy to make my appointment online. My schedule changed on the day of my appointment so I called to adjust my time and they were really nice and helpful. The techs that came out were kind and courteous. They explained the drain issues in a way that I understood. They explained all my options and the pros and cons of each. I felt well informed and they fixed issue quickly. They also showed me some possible upcoming issues with my drain and some preventative measures I could take. They left no mess and kept plastic under all of their equipment to keep my floors safe. Do yourself a huge favor and use Elite for your plumbing needs!

Gustavo and Augie from Elite Rooter came out to my apartment to service my garbage disposal recall. He was fast and efficient and very polite. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this company, my Mom had plumbing issues and was told the sewer line needed to be replaced. She has asked this company many times during the 3 weeks since service is completed for invoices and other paperwork for the insurance company and cannot get them to share any invoices etc…. Makes us second guess weather any of these services were necessary. Don’t use this company!!!

They were very quick to respond, professional, made the sewer repair and carefully replaced the landscaping that had existed before the dig. They have proper equipment, used the best supplies for the repair (according to the City Inspector). Pedro was first on the scene within an hour of our call. On realizing the degree of our problem, he called in Augustine. Eloy and Fernando operated the equipment and did some hand digging very carefully. They secured the area for the days we needed to wait for the inspection. Once that was done, they completed the work by that evening. They were all helpful with explaining what they were dining and answering our questions during the process.

I was very pleased with the follow through about plunging and opening my Toto toilet suction and operation. It was quick and clean and precise and successful. Service tech was prompt and professional and happy to have performed a required operation as requested. Would definitely use again for plumbing issues.

Do NOT use these people!
We had a pipe in our laundry room burst back in August. Elite Rooter came out to evaluate and said it would be $3000 and they needed $1500 up front. We gave them $1500 and they started the work. They jackhammered some and then needed to have someone come inspect it, at which point it was determined they needed to jackhammer twice the distance and it would cost us an additional $1500 and they would need to move our water heater. It needed to be fixed so we agreed. Water heater gets moved and we are told we should now have hot water however after the technician left we tried to use hot water and had none. They came back later to re-connect the water heater but we were not getting hot water in half the house. Another technician came out and said he had fixed the problem. That fix was to crank the water heater temperature as high as it goes which is not only a safety hazard but ruins water heaters. We had another plumber come out for a separate issue and he asked to take a look at their work since he was surprised it was taking them so long. He then proceeded to discover they had broken a copper pipe and tried to patch it with an insulating foam sealant instead of fixing the problem. Daniel heard our frustrations and came out and confirmed that the technicians did indeed ruin our water heater and that he would ensure we got it replaced on them. At this point there was no trust with Elite Rooter so we used the 2nd plumber who thoroughly explained how bad of work they had done. The new plumber completed the work the same day! We sent Anette (apparently the ONLY PERSON that deals with refunds/payment) over 20 emails and more than 30 phone calls without response over the last 3 months. They refuse to pay for the replacement water heater that they broke so now we are forced to take them to small claims court.
The owner of this company should be ashamed of the quality of work and customer service provided.

I didn't appreciate their bait and switch approach. They told me that the blockage in my drain was not fixable with their equipment and that I needed to do a $3000 excavation and replacement of a section of the cast iron pipe and that it was the only option available to me. Although I agree that would be a better solution, I didn't appreciate them telling me that they couldn't do a more short-term solution like puncturing through the clog or whatever. I asked them directly, and I've had several people come in the past, including someone that did a full water pressure cleaning, so I know it can be done. After they left, I was able to use my drill-powered snake to clear the drain myself. I know its only a temporary solution, but I know they could have done it themselves. It took 10 minutes and was super easy. So I try to assume that people have good intentions, but I think they were lying to me, or at the very least were being dishonest. Although these guys seemed very professional, I wouldn't recommend them for their dishonesty and trying to push people to costly repairs even when they are not required. I understand that businesses need to make money, but treating customers with honesty and giving them ALL the available options is the sign of a business that values integrity.

That all being said, the fact that they could point out to me the exactly location of the blockage was useful information and why I gave them 2 stars instead of just 1.

Only reason I gave them one star is because I couldn’t do zero, worst experience I had with a company that claims to be professional. Called about 7 times to reach a manager to address my complaint and when finally got a hold of him he said they would mail me my money back in 7 days well it’s been over a month. Honestly stay away

I had a miserable experience dealing with Elite Rooter and they are not elite, but a scam company. They showed up in their pretty van with a broken machine that was not functioning along with trying to overcharge me. The technician was a joke, their equipment didn’t work and when they promised another service call with a working machine, they never showed up or called so I waited around for 2 hours with no call and I left a voice message that was never returned. My experience with Elite Rooter was a complete waste of time.

We bought our house just over a month ago, and during the inspection, some things came up that were not up to code. So the selling realtor set up an estimate with Elite Rooter. The quote came back at $500, and it was in our contract the original owner was not responsible for the repairs. After closing, we decided to have Elite Rooter to come out and do the repairs to bring things up to code. Gabriel showed up almost 2 hours late with another guy and they did a walk through. They then stated that the work was going to be over $3,000 and could not explain why it was no longer $500. We decided to go ahead because it needed the work to be done and they stated that they required a 50% deposit before they could start the work. Gabriel then stated that he had another job to go to and someone else would be here within a couple of hours. If he was scheduled for our job, why did he have to leave so soon. Almost 4 hours later, still no technician, so I called and cancelled the job, it was getting late and they could not guarantee that the job would be completed the same day, and that was the only time we could be home for the work. I was told they could not refund my card and would have to wait for a check in the mail. 2 weeks later, still no check, so I called, and they stated that the check was made out to the realtor instead of me, but they would fix it. Another week later, still no check, I called again and they stated that the check just now got signed and would be sent out. When I confirmed the name on the check, it was still the name of the realtor. There was no record of my name anywhere, even though I have called countless times. I finally spoke to a manager and she said she would resolve the issue and a check will be sent out today. We will see. If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend this company at all

They came out and tried to snake my main drain and it had dropped 15 degrees which was the cause of the clog. They jackhammered a section of concrete, replaced a small section of cast iron pipe with PVC plastic and then filled in the hole. They were fast and came out when they said they would. Cost was around $3K

We hired Elite Rooter to come to our home for what appeared to be a minor plumbing issue. They exaggerated the problem and recommended adding several services that after multiple additional professional opinions by other plumbers, were absolutely unnecessary and unreasonable. Do yourself a favor and call someone else for any needs or help with your plumbing.

Online scheduling was very easy. My technician (John K) was professional, knowledgeable, and able to do a complicated replacement of my old water heater/gas line. He made sure I understood proper care and maintenance to prolong the life of my new heater. John also identified a problem with my main water shut off valve that I was not aware of. I would not hesitate to have him come out again, and am happy to recommend this business.

I contacted Elite Rooter to perform service on my sewer pump. I put a deposit down and ended up finding out my part was under warranty through a different firm. Asked for a refund of $1700 deposit and still have not received my refund.

Also they came in tore my toilet off, broke tiles and ended up not properly assessing the correct issue until they destroyed my bathroom. I would look elsewhere for service.

I called Elite Rooter at 8:30 a.m. and they had a tech out by 10 a.m. to unclog my main sewer line. My kitchen drain was backing up so bad I couldn't even wash dishes. The tech, Javier, was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He spent time checking out my whole house plumbing before setting to the task of snaking out my main line. He did it right the first time at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Elite Rooter and especially Javier, 100%.

These guys were awesome! Daniel Rodriguez and Dario Sanchez were out for backed up sewer line, they both really went above and beyond to ensure the issue was taken care of. We have had other companies out before for the same issue and never received the the level of service these guys brought with them! We would definitely recommend using them, and if we ever have any issues again they will be my first phone call.

Long story short, Do NOT use these people. They don't have plumbing knowledge at all!
I had a kitchen sink clog due to grease 18 months ago and Elite Rooter Denver performed a cabeling service. We have been very careful since then not pouring any food waste or grease down to the drain. A few months later, the drain got clogged again and I was suprised that the cabeling only last a few months. Elite Rooter Denver came out again and told me that cabeling did not clean out grease, I would need a hydro jetting. They told me hydro jetting would last at least two years (not like the cabeling), so I paid another $400+ and they gave me a warranty. However, less than a year, it clogged AGAIN... I called Elite Rooter Denver back, they said it was still the grease issue (they can use this excuse every time...), and this time they recommended a $1500 giant hydro jetting service. I declined and asked about the warranty. They stopped answering my calls and never called me back since then. So the warranty only garantees them having a chance to offer me a more expensive service??? Then I hired another company, they immediately pointed out that my air admittance valve ($20) needed to be replaced because most likely it got wet and contaminated by water backing up since the first clog, and I only need a cabeling in addition to that. Not sufficient air venting caused my sink draining slowly no matter if there was a clog, and that would significantly accelerate grease build up. That's why it got clogged again so quickly short after the cabeling and hydro jetting. Now after just a cabeling and replacing the air admittance valve, my drain flows even better than that after Elite Rooter Denver's hydro jetting. I did even ask Elite Rooter Denver if the clog had anything to do with the air valve before they did hydro jetting, and they said NO. They have no plumbing knowledge at all and just want to make as much of your money as possible.

Had a downstairs sewer drain clogged. Called Elite Rooter; tech came out. Could not use snake as a secondary drain needed replaced, which meant jackhammer work in the basement. This happened 5 months ago so I do not remember names of the two men who came out. Came down to the job being done over 2-3 days for a total of 3 hours at a cost of $2800...$900 per hour!!! The workers jackhammered, took a break...came back later than they said they would. I had to go out of town but had two sons at the house; told the guys they needed to give me an accurate time when they’d come as my sons had jobs; they were Always late. Put us off a day to take care of another ‘emergency.’ Told me a supervisor would come by to check everything out. That never happened.

I would not use this company again.

Matt Williams was great! They were on time, very respectful and diagnosed the issue appropriately. Fixed the issue with my pipes and left the house CLEAN!

Truly awful service and Austin flaked out on my job. Avoid at all costs.

They first bid a simple shower valve replacement at $284 plus materials and then as they flaked on job morning they were suppose to arrive, told me how they underbid it and gave me a lame excuse about their truck breaking. But I should just hang on and see if they could make it later in day. When I texted again I've since been completely ghosted. I wound up learning to solder copper pipe just so my tile guy could work. You're fired.

One Plumber who will remain nameless made a hole under my sink and then ghosted me. I called Elite Rooter and Jovany Armendariz came to evaluate my problem. I had a hot water leak and a broken sewer pipe. Both would need to be fixed. Jovany was always courteous and polite. Jovany gave me a reasonable price and began work. The crew showed up the next day and excavated the concrete floor and replaced the sewer line. Jovany came back the next day and fixed the water lines and flushed the sewer line. Elite rooter did a great job at a reasonable price. I fully recommend Elite Rooter.

I don’t write reviews, mostly because they seem to take up a lot of time, but I have to give praise when it’s deserved. I had our kitchen sink garbage disposal clog up. Which means I couldn’t wash dishes or do laundry bc that waterline is connected. This happened today, Wednesday! Yes the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I called Elite Rooter Denver and got an appointment with Austin the same day. They gave me a time window of 4-6pm. Austin showed up at 2:20pm and called when he was 10 minutes out. Check and check! Came in and was done with the project in 35 minutes. Ohh and not only was it fast and easy, but the price was unbelievable! Austin has won over my business and I will continue to contact him directly for any future problems. Very, very impressed. He did such a good job I figured I would do something I never do and write a 5 STAR review for a job well done!

Thank you again, Austin! I’m toasting in your name tomorrow at Thanksgiving.

Gustavo was the technician that came. He came within 24 hours of m request for help with a bathroom clog. It was tricky because my home is 125 years old. Gustavo was professional, efficient, and did a thorough job and was successful. I'm very pleased with the service I received.

Scam Alert. I contracted service from Elite Rooter to unclog a toilet that turned out the be a major replacement of a sewer line. A quote for $9600 was provided to fix the sewer clog. During the exploratory excavation Elite Rooter determine an additional $21000 was required to complete the job which consist of digging an additional 25 feet? I informed Elite Rooter to terminate the job when the Elite Rooter supervisor stated he could go 10 feet for an additional $9600 and it should (not guarantee) fix the problem. I preceded to contact three other vendors all gave a guarantee completion quote ($7600-$9800) to go the additional 25 ft if needed. Also, all stated that the quote they provided would have been given to complete the initial job. When I contacted the corporate headquarters to complain, they stated corporate policy was followed and implied to “go pound sand”. So, if you need sewer work done and have no problem with paying three times the initial quote bestowed then this is a company for you.

Élite Rooter is the best! Phillip came out during an emergency water line break and acted very quickly. He gave me info on how to handle insurance as well. He was so nice and knowledgeable. He was very professional and I appreciate him very much for his honest and great work! Thanks Phillip and Elite Rooter!

I called these guys to come over and clear a clogged sink. They were very nice. However, after about 5 minutes of using his Roto-Rooter he told me he couldn't get past the blockage. He told me I needed to replace my pipes. He then quoted me 7K to replace my pipes.
I went to home Depot and rented a snake. I unclogged it in about 10 minutes.

On February 15, 2021, the state of Colorado (and half the country) was still trying to manage or recover from artic freezes and sudden thaw. NO ONE we called in or around Denver could accommodate us with SAME DAY service for a burst pipe...until Elite Rooter came to our rescue well after four o'clock in the afternoon. Eddie was professional, friendly, prompt and honest. He provided us with a thorough diagnosis and fair estimate before getting RIGHT TO WORK. He explained EVERYTHING and finished right on time, SAVING US from a FULL NIGHT WITHOUT WATER!! If we find ourselves in need of plumbing services again, we will definitely call Elite Rooter again...and we will ask for the same technician. Thank you so much, Eddie!

We noticed water in our basement in August 2022. Turned out there was a leak from the pipe in the kitchen sink. Elite Rooter Denver was on time, professional and efficient.

Isaiah was great! I had a clogged line that he had to come back for a second time, then he came back again with a special camera just to make sure it was all clear and there weren’t any bigger issues going on. I will be calling this company in the future.

Jovany Armendariz plumber came to my house looked at the leak and said the connection needs to be tightened.nothing else. after tightening the leak stopped I highly recommend them.I would give him 10 stars instead of 5.

Tech quickly troubleshot my problem, clearly explained to me what needed to be done and why, as well as the total cost, which was extremely reasonable. He then cleared the drain completely with no mess. I had dreaded calling anyone before but I now will only use Elite and I will confidently refer them to my family and friends.

Elite Rooter responded within an hour when my sewer line was completely clogged and damaged from roots.
They got me up and running fast, and the repair got me up to code.
Highly recommended!

Awlful experience with Elite Rooter.
A tech and a supervisor came out and brought no equipment/camera to do the job I explained to the scheduler, detailed and requested a camera scoping of a 2line, at my Church.
I was charged a diagnostic fee
No work performed and no free estimate.
I called the office and a area manager was supposed to call, never happened.

My sewage line clogged and left a terrible mess. Scheduled with Elite that day. Tech was stuck in traffic so a manager came to prevent any delays and solved the problem quickly...thank you Elite! We will be using them again for any future issues.

Absolutely horrible. Another plumbing scam artist. Tried to charge us $300 to clean the line with an auger for about a 30 minute appointment after quoting $79. They left and we did not use them.
