Affordable and effective

We had a leak inside a wall. My wife’s worst fear is water damage, so she was not doing well. The folks at Rotorooter were very professional and helpful. They called with updates, fixed our issue the same day on a weekend, and were all friendly and competent people. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. We have had them do other work too and they always do a great job. Writing this review was literally the least I could do to thank them.

Well, well, the crooks of Columbus. I will start off by saying work is completed, however we got hosed on the price. For less than 3hours of work, the company collected north of $3500 (for exact figures, feel free to reach out!) and have been shady since completion of work.Estimator comes out and assess the issue. Said estimator writes up a proposal for the insurance company. This is where everything in my opinion went south. Anthony Merriman ,the estimator we were working with, was tasked with writing up the proposal. I know your saying ,he is an estimator, he should be writing up estimates as no one knows fully what a job entails until they get into it. You have an idea of what would be needed, and after seeing his proposal (submitted 2 days after the fact, because he had his anniversary and that was more important. I have an infant in the house and hot water is pretty important in the care for children. So he had more pressing matters to get to is why the proposal got back to us late.) So already, bad taste in my mouth but hey, this is a big company, surely they'll take care of it. You have estimators giving outrageous bids and for the first time working with the, I assumed it was an estimate on any and everything that could happen, because the repair was fairly straight forward. I have very little plumbing experience however I know cost of construction and what these items cost at home improvement stores. So after all work had been completed, bill remained the same. Tried for 3 weeks to talk to someone about it and after trying to get a hold of Mr. Sheffield with operations (didn't catch his first name) no one returned calls or emails, hence the unprofessional designation. They know they price gouged and didn't want to address it.The tech was gone at lunch or doing whatever it is that he was doing for almost an hour and a half. He says he was collecting supplies needed for repair...Lowe's is 5 minutes from my house and you needed under $100 in material and nothing special (pipe to splice in where leak was at, concrete, and small hand tools if they came unprepared, which they probably did to drive the price up even more). I also did research on acquiring a jack hammer (which I would assume the concrete division would have one, but even still) the rental for a jack hammer for 24 hours is a lot less than one would think. So in addition to the techs being gone for close to an hour and a half, the lead tech left his phone charging at my house. I have been told by contractor friends that this is a common move in all fields of contract work, to leave a phone when they don't want to be bothered or talk, meaning they aren't doing work anywhere else unless it's to their own house. They were more than likely killing time, eating some food to try and make it seem like they were working on this job a long time so they could say everything in the proposal was legit. It is honestly pathetic and I wish there were more honest companies, especially in a big city like Columbus. Will try my hardest to never use again and to continue to let people know what type of company The WaterWorks really is.To recap:-Estimators over price everything, might even be related to the tech. That would explain why he over priced everything, to help his family out? Shady any way you look at it. If the price of the service can go up, it should be able to go down within reason. Either that or more competent estimators are needed for a company as big as this.-Techs are not honest, were gone almost as long as they were working and didn't even have the decency to look me in the eye and answer me when I asked him about pricing and how it would be adjusted. He knew he was screwing us as soon as he showed up.-Customer service is less than ideal, no one gets back to you or cares to explain anything. Seems like their tactic is to push aside until someone forgets about it. I had to call for 3 weeks in a row to get any answers.-Price gougers. Just like any other major company, they're in it for the money, by any means necessary.

Fritz Baumann repaired a drain leak and installed a Mustee Big Tub Utility Sink. They were professional at every step of the way and did a great job of providing quality and design in installation of the utility sink. I would definitely recomend them.

I got an estimate. Will have to compare with other quotes to see if we will go with this company. Todd was courteous and professional. Not sure we will go with this company. They seem a bit pricey.

Fast friendly service on a holiday of all things!

called Drain Master out for a stopped up drain. They used a drain cleaning machine and took care of my problem right away. Service tech was very helpful in explaining my situation they also gave me tips on how to prevent this from happening again. I will definitly be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Quick, polite, professional service that completed the job as it should have been completed with the last two service providers I hired.

Jason quickly identified the issues set forth a plan, explained it to me, then initiated what needed to be done speaking to my husband explaining what he was going to do. The cost of repair was very reasonable it took about 2 hrs, he was very tidy. I was unaware of the need for annual maintenance so I will be calling for the maintenance.

We are a general contractor and we use these guys for an array of plumbing services. Matt is an excellent communicator and is very responsive. If Matt is not completing the project himself, we always know we’re in great hands regardless of who he sends because he’s got fantastic guys on the team.

Many of our projects involve coordinating multiple different contractors to complete them. This requires us to schedule our mechanical contractors for rough work/inspections and finish work/inspections, which is a disaster if we’re not working with people like Matt, who do everything they can to stay on schedule and efficiently handle any problems that may arise. Matt and his guys work side by side with anyone else we’ve got on the job and are quick to lend a hand if anyone else on site needs it. Things can frequently change over the course of a remodel and it is invaluable to work with people who can remain flexible and work with the entire team of contractors to complete the goal.

The satisfaction of our customers is our number one concern. Knowing that The Service People share this concern allows us to trust that no matter what job we’ve got them on, our customer will be pleased with their experience. These are not your typical plumbers. When these guys are on the job they are representing our company as well as their own, and we are proud to call them our plumbers.

I work with Matt on a daily basis. I am EXTREMELY grateful for the opportunity to work with Matt and his team. The ability for me to have the level of confidence in an individual and their abilities like I do with Matt is invaluable to me. Would like to leave a better review for Chris, as he was very prompt and communicated well at first. He arrived at the agreed time and let me know what issues needed addressed and let me know a part was needed to fix the shower leak. He asked to come back the next day and this is when the problem starts. I called him two times the next day with VMs and I got no response. I then texted him which he didn’t reply to. Another week has passed and I called one last time to just ask if he was going to complete the work or not so I can just move on to another plumber, and that went to VM too. So, all in all, I’m pretty disappointed at the lack of response, follow up, and professionalism.

I would definitely recommend family and friends to use these services, worker was very polite, and more then helpful came almost immediately to access the situation and had it taken care off faster then I could make it to the bank and back!!! Thank you guys for all you help, great customer service !!!

I recently had some problems with a product Accurate installed (not their product and nothing they could control). Getting the problem resolved took a number of trips over the course of several weeks. MIke and his team went above and beyond in handling my issue fairly, competently and effectively. I have used Accurate Plumbing many times over the years and this experience more than validates why I keep going back to them.

We had a Slow bathtub drain and Plumbing One sent Jesse to our house today. He was Great, he tried his best to unblock our VERY OLD drain and did improve the flow very well. Jesse also explained the Problem with old drains and made An Excellent suggestion for us to consider. We will be calling Plumbing One back next week to follow through on his suggestion. We were very, very satisfied with Jesse and how well he explained our problem. Excellent service and Jessie cleaned up after himself which was Very Nice.
