I was given a price of $2,626 based on the premise that major changes would have to be made to both the cold and hot water lines, the relief valve vent pipe and the installation of a drain line for the new drip pan that is required with the installation, due to the slightly larger diameter of the new tank and the required drip pan. As it turned out, no changes at all were made to either water line other than the installation of a shut off valve in the cold-water line. The relief valve vent pipe was directed into the new drip pan and not to the outside as it should have been since the unit sits in an enclosed space. The new drip pan was installed but no drain line was installed, defeating the purpose of having a drip pan in the first place. After several phone conversations with ARS Recue Rooter and Lowe's, whom I went through for this service, I found out that ARS does not charge by the hour and that the price is fixed before the so called estimator even shows up. I was duped into signing what I thought was an estimate, but it was actually a contract. There were no physical papers, just this guy's pad. He never showed me anything on the pad. Very deceptive pricing and sales tactics. The entire job took 1 hour and 45 minutes. After several more phone calls ARS grudgingly consented to refund back to me $500, which I have not yet received.

I can't say enough great things about ARS. Beginning to end I was informed, the scheduling process was super efficient, and they were prompt within their quoted days/times for service. My initial discovery session was very informative and they went out of their way to make sure I understood and were able to answer my questions. They were very knowledgeable about discussing repair vs replacement and professionally presented it a manner that let me choose what was best for me and family. I was very impressed I was able to be coordinated for install within hours of meeting with an advisor on site. The installation crew couldn't have been more informative explaining why they were doing certain things during my service. The attention to detail of the install (upgraded shut off valve, water tray, etc). was appreciated. They explained the functionality to me and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. From there, the company proactively texted me to advise they were scheduling my needed inspection with the county. I couldn't have been more pleased with the overall coordination, education, fair pricing, process, quality, and service I received from ARS. This is the gold standard for a service provider and I have referred them to family already. I've found a plumbing partner for life! Thank you ARS!
While I wish my water heater replacement wouldn’t have been such an expense, likely a feeling shared by many, I am happy with the experience of working with ARS/RR. The consultant was pleasant, helpful, and willing to discuss my concerns regarding the quote when he came to evaluate my situation. The installers were great guys with positive attitudes, and they took it upon themselves to ensure they left no trace. It was a rainy day, which is not ideal for floors and carpets, especially with installers in work boots and water heaters being transported up and down stairs on dollies. To my delight, they wore protective booties and they even cleaned the dolly wheels and covered them with duct tape to keep our house clean. I don’t know of anyone who would go the extra mile like that without being asked. They took time to educate me on the product after it was installed and were very friendly and personable throughout the process. As they say, you get what you pay for, and for the level of service provided, it was well worth the cost.

In a very busy time for plumbing businesses - this company answered late at night, scheduled for early the next morning after ensuring we could wait that long and had taken steps to manage water - and notified me of departure and arrival well within the two hour window given. Technician explained estimate - potential impact on drywall, work within his scope and what we may have to take care of separately. Also made suggestions on a pending plumbing issue. He tolerated barking pets, child gates and stairs with professionalism. Would definitely use again.

Rescue is exactly what this company did... After a disappointing experience with my warranty group who said my issue wasn't covered.. I was willing to pay the company directly...and advised that he only does warranty work. They scheduled 2nd opinion... He didn't have the needed equipment. I contacted Rescue Rooter... I have never dealt with a company that lacks in so many areas! My boyfriend and I bought a home and ARS rerouted the sump pump line before we moved in. After moving in we realize that that also rerouted one of our downspouts to the drain, which is great, except instead of measuring their pipe they bent our downspout to try and fit into that pipe. They also tore off the window well covers on the side of the house and did not replace them. The biggest concern is that they did not bury the pipe deep enough in the ground so you can see and physically touch the pipe that goes through our front yard. We originally contacted them 3 weeks ago and they said they would send someone out to fix/take a look at it and that it was all covered under the warranty from the work they already completed. Well they send out a plumber, who has no work order and says they are there for a leaky pipe. Not what we needed. So, next day we call again. They say yes they can get us on the schedule for Wednesday. So Wednesday comes around, we have family member waiting all day for them, and they never show. We call later again that day and they say they are on their way, they never show. Then we call back again the next day...The secretary or whomever answers the phone says that they already completed the job. No! No one ever showed up! Then she says she will have someone call us back. Do they call? No! So we call again! Put on hold for 30 mins then say they will call us back, never do! Finally we call again. And once again the lovely secretary, says I already talked to you We asked to speak to a supervisor to a manager, and we never received any calls. At a loss on what to do now, and have never dealt with company that is so poor on communicating and negligent of their work. I would never recommend this company to anyone, and advise anyone thinking about it to find someone else. We are usually very patient and understanding people, but this place is a mess!

We called them after a pipe burst in our garage. They were the soonest appointment we could get since the winter storm caused issues all over Columbus. When they showed up the technician claimed he was just here for an estimate. I did not call for or want an estimate. That was very clear, and no one ever told me that is what I was getting. I was unable to live in my house and just wanted the leak fixed. He said someone could come out 2 days later. Knowing that we could not get anyone sooner, we took the appointment. When that technician came out, he was wonderful and fixed both leaks. This company totally duped us by telling us they could give us the soonest appointment, but in all actuality we probably could have gotten something sooner. We were satisfied with service once that person came out. If you decide to use them, be very clear about what you want and ask questions if it’s a time where plumbers are needed everywhere.
My appointment was from 10am thru noon arrival. Tech arrived at 3pm. ARS should have called me with update. I had to call them twice. The tech was polite and professional. He's named Nathan. I really like him - good guy; he's both competent and pleasant.

Honestly amazing. They were able to come out within an hour and fix our backed up kitchen sink with ease. We paid a fraction of the price we paid when we had this issue once before (truly… we paid 75% less then when we used roto rooter). Kalvante was knowledgeable about the process and what was causing the issue and gave us advice on how to prevent these issues. No doubt I will be requesting him in the future. The handles on my main shut off valve broke so I could not turn my water supply back on; ARS was able to come out the same day and get the water supply back on and the technician did not charge for that service despite it being a weekend and emergency response. So upon having a new kitchen installed, I hired them to fix the shut off valve and realign pipes for the new kitchen sink. The technician was prompt and did not hesitate to answer my questions. Highly recommend utilizing their services for any of your plumbing needs.

Installed a hot water heater but opened my irrigation system which had been winterized. Water was coming out of the outdoor irrigation backflow valve. Cost me $175 to have the irrigation company come out and re-winterize the system. Suggest more caution and and extra walk around to insure water is not coming out of outdoor piping. Took more time than I’d like for the plumbing crew to come back to my house to understand what happened but they did come back to try to make things right.

We hired this company to clear a clogged drain. They poked a hole in our pipe with their snake, they tried to patch the hole, but in two weeks the patch was leaking. They sent a new technician to assess the problem, he quoted me $650 to fix the hole that they created. I requested a conversation with his supervisor, two days later, bucket still catching the leak, and no call back. Poor service on site, but poorer service from management when they didn’t follow up with me. Avoid this company.

RR Columbus responded quickly to the form I completed through the Lowe’s website. Lowe’s website states clearly that our hot water tank would be a same day replacement as long as the form was completed by noon (mine was). At 1:15 pm, RR Columfrom ARS sent a text saying they would be arriving in 30-45 minutes but no one showed up until 3:30 pm. The person who showed up confirmed that the tank was leaking and needed replaced; however, there was no way it would be installed on that day. He quoted us a price to remove, haul away & replace the tank, and said they would be replacing all copper and handling the inspection. Ridiculously expensive amount for labor (3 times the cost of the tank itself). He did give us a small discount since the company couldn’t deliver n the same day replacement promise. We agreed to the amount & the new tank was installed the following afternoon by 2 very pleasant guys. They were in & out In probably 30 minutes.

We had a gentleman come and do the video inspection. He sent his camera all the way to the drop into the city sewer system. Fortunately for us, the lines relatively clean and in excellent working condition. He was very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing this type of service.

RUN away from this company! We called out ARS to snake a blocked drain pipe. We had suspected roots had invaded the pipe. After 30 mins of trying to snake the pipe they came to the conclusion that the pipe had collapsed and needed a full replacement for $8,000 dollars. We called in a second opinion and they were able to clear the pipe entirely in 15 minutes and for half the cost. ARS took advantage of our lack of knowledge in the area and after talking to multiple reputable people that have either worked with them or are knowledgeable of the field and other companies in the field they told us to stay far away from ARS.
They didn’t bring the proper equipment to remove my old hot water heater. I also thought they were very very expensive over priced. They have a $230 an hour rate but they also have a rate per whatever they’re installing. I wanted them to do some extra work, but it was so overpriced. I wouldn’t have them do it.

Devin came in to evaluate water pressure concerns in upstairs bathroom. He was very nice and courteous and made recommendations as well as an estimate for the cost of the repairs. He explained what was included in the repairs and what would need to be done.
The technician Kelvante H is very professional. He took his time finding the tree roots in my main drain and making sure he did everything possible to make sure it was cleaned out.The attention to detail meant everything.He’s an asset to the company.

I have used Lowe’s to contact ARS services and it was a pleasant experience over all, with quick response from office and prompt to schedule, shared the details clearly and was able to complete the installation of my preferred device.
I try to give most companies the benefit of the doubt. But ARS sort of dropped the ball and ghosted us.I realize the past day was probably very busy for them and the roads arent great, but communication was not good.I originally called at around 2:50 expressing how I have a few compress fittings leaking after thawing out my showers pipes. And they gave me an arrival window between 4-6pm..great!By almost 7:30 nobody has notified me of them running late or possibly have to move to the next day. So I call and am told we still have you on for tonight.It's now 5:30am the next day and nobody ever contacted me after the 730 call. If you can't get to me, clearer communication would be helpful.

They keep calling/emailing me to give feedback for some reason, when I never used their company. Technician Kalvante was professional and clearly explained the issue and what was needed to repair. He cleaned up the area afterwards and asked if I had questions. Would definitely use this company again, especially if all their service people are like him.
My water heater broke overnight and after getting a quote the next morning, ARS was able to install a new unit by mid afternoon. Of course it was pricey for a rapid turnaround and some copper piping work, but after the install, the techs did a run through with me so I knew how everything worked and made sure to answer any questions I had.

I was very pleased with the service provided by ARS. I called them at 7am on a Saturday morning and they were at my house by 8:45am. Jon was very professional and respectful of my property. I would highly recommend ARS.
Don't waste your time scheduling an appointment, they want show up on time or will call at 9:35 p.m. saying they are on the way for a for 4p.m. appointment. Promise to put you on the next morning first appointment and want call or show up ! ! Very unprofessional and don't value customers time and and reviews of their services.
Tech canceled last minute, a replacement was sent who walked around my property said he had no clue what to do he had no parts on hand he ended up leaving no work done and issues not resolved. Tech had excellent manners he was just set up for failure prior to coming.

ARS Rescue Rooter was introduced to me from Lowes. I'd called Lowes in regards to a replacement electric water heater after our unit stopped working and had a leak and they forwarded my to there preferred installers (ARS). In speaking with the ARS call center I was given an appointment time between 1 - 3 and then received a confirmation E-mail that it was between 2 - 4. I was told that I would get a same day replacement, which was the selling point to my wife and I, as we already spent a day without hot water. (Cold showers are no fun!) It wasn't until after 6 pm that a specialist arrived to then only provide a quote, no installation. Upsetting as I'd taken a half day off work to make sure I was home. Taking the next morning off work a repair specialist was to arrive between 8 - 10, which a gentlemen did arrive around 9:15 am. Upon reviewing the worksite the installer apologied, as he knew the order had been written up incorrectly and the wrong water heater tank was loaded on the truck. It then took over an hour for the installer to return to the shop and arrive back at the worksite with that correct tank. Having taken the morning off work, I then found myself having to make other work arrangements as I knew it wouldn't be until the early afternoon that the job would be finished. We are now with hot water again, but fingers are now crossed that the worst part is behind us.
Had a coupon for $83 for main sewer line clean out. I called for an appointment, the scheduler asked if it was an external clean out access. I said no. He said it maybe additional charges and the person who comes can tell you that charge. I set up an appointment for 6-8 pm...I received a call at 3:40 asking could they come earlier....Uh ok.Two men showed up within 15 min. I presented the coupon and showed them the basement. One of the guys looked at the price and said that's not right. ...is it for the main line? I said yes....He then looked at the coupon to see if it was expired? It wasn't...I knew something was up....we spent 9 minutes in the kitchen, he was trying to get a hold of the office. He had to call back several times. He was speaking then speaking to a manager and he handed me the phone. She said there is an upcharge for an interior basement sewer access. I said ok how much....she said she didn't know because she was driving but the guys could look on their tablet. After he looked on the tablet, it was an additional $325+the intial $83. Ah no thanks, bait and switch. I know it can be around $275....I will make an appointment w DrainMasters. They are upfront with their pricing. $295 total. Go with drain masters and don't waste your time here.
Corbin was very good at explaining the work to be done. He listened to me about my knowledge about the problems I have encountered with the plumbing in my house system.

Tech showed up promptly and showed me all read of concerns with lingo that was easily understood. There was no pressure for extra services but I was made aware of certain areas of concern with the water heater and would want to call them out for installation of the new one when it comes time.
Every associate I have talked to or dealt with has been absolutely fantastic. Brian was exceptionally informative yesterday after installing the sump pump and helped me create a temporary fix til we can get the line clean.

Technician was awesome in providing me some good information regarding the installation of a replacement hot water heater. However, the ARS cost compared to 8 other plumbing companies within the local area was the highest by far. Their cost to install a new hot water heater was $2,860 where the highest competitor quote I received was $1,350 with similar configuration and warranty. ARS was way over priced.

My name Bill Eichenlaub, I arrange an appointment with rescue rooter for today January 11th between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and they promptly showed up at 10:30. The tech was John Milburn, John was quite congenial, professional and quite knowledgeable in his field of work. I needed help locating drainage tiles and needed to know what my options would be to make them work properly. After using a state of the arts camera /locating system John made suggestions in regards to the proper tiling, direction, elevation and source of connection required to do the job this summer, John is a very pleasant person to work with I'm glad I got to meet Him.In today's world rescue rooter is an outstanding company to work with. I just saw they are offering 200.00 off to install a hot water heater...well they charged 1446.oo just to install one last month plus the cost of the hot water heater...I went through Lowes and they said it would be 8 to 9 hundred to install...so I feel they charge way to much ...I would never use them again...

I can’t stress how much I would never recommend this company. After working with so many contractors on our home renovation, this is by far the worst quality of work and worst communication I’ve experienced.$16,000 dollars later I feel like my house is more damaged than before we used their services. Considering this is definitely not the most cost effective service you can hire for this work (which they admit, they are not cheap) that you would get what you pay for and receive excellent work. You won’t, and here are some (not all) examples of the type of service I received:1. Installed a $600 shower pan with no supports below it so the whole thing cracked, I had to call another service, buy a new one and have the other service completely redo that work. ARS never made this right, despite weeks of me asking. $2200 for me to fix their work.2. Left leaks in the waterlines in the basement that another plumber had to fix.3. Didn’t install any shutoffs so if we ever have any issues we have to shut off the water main.4. Never hooked hot water up to 2 of our sinks.5. Left a leak in one of the waterlines in our master bath and gave us a hard time about sending someone out to fix this.6. Left a bunch of McDonalds trash in our basement, that was fun. Also didn’t haul out the galvanized pipe they cut out in our basement, which they said they would. This is not a deal breaker but it does illustrate, again, how this company doesn’t stand by the quality of their techs or their services as they like to say :)7. Improperly glued one of the drains in the basement. It fell apart afterwords, could have flooded our basement with toilet water.Literally they did not complete a single job correctly. I sat on this review for over a year because despite the thousands of dollars I have paid to fix their mistakes, I just wanted to be done with this experience and never think about it again. But now as I’m listening to my ceiling streaming water into a popcorn bowl in my kitchen because of (I’m sure) another ARS shoddy job on the bathroom directly above, I’m salty again. I would not wish this hassle, stress and incurred expense on my worst enemy.Please consider using any other service.

Had ARS come out for a quote they came out to switch the water heater. When installed I was not working properly went out a couple times to take a look nothing was fixed kept calling back they came out a month later to fix the problem I was told I was getting a compensation check for going a month without hot water after paying full price for a new heater worst communication I have ever had called back to ask for the check and kept saying manager was going to call almost a year and have not received anything

Kyle was very good at his job, quick and very professional. He explained how to adjust the water temperature and how to relight the pilot light after it went out and didn't mind my many questions. He called me twice to assure me he was on the way and explained he was running behind. He did great from start to finish.

I contacted them first thing in the AM to clear a clogged kitchen drain. They told me that they were definitely available for a same day service call and would call me 30-45 minutes ahead of time. Had heard anything by 2 PM, so I called them back. Yes, someone will be out yet today. At 4 PM, they tell me they aren't going to make it today. It's a Friday. Too late to call someone else now unless I'm willing to pay through the nose for weekendevening service. There is a difference between we a) can vs. b) probably vs. c) might be able to come today.

The workers who came answered my questions and explained what they thought the problem was and what hopefully will resolve the issue. Time will tell I guess. However the timely of response was less than adequate. The first was unable to actually handle what he thought the issue was. A second person was to come the next day and it was delayed another day because the job he was only was going to take much longer. That happens. then when someone showed up the following day it was another person to evaluate the problem but not someone who actually resolved the problem. Quoted me a price for the fix and then had to wait for actual tech to repair. Was scheduled for 2 to 4 the same day. Received a call at 3:30 job taking longer someone would be there from 4 to 6. No call until 6:40 and then was only on the way so I said no I sat around for 6 hours waiting for this and had a prior appointment for the evening. Received another call and scheduled again for next day between 8 and 10. Finally a tech showed up who could actually do the work ran a snake down to clear out the drain and hopefully this resolved the problem. I feel I should get a discount on the price of this job for the failure to show up multiple times and twice with no call I called them. They seriously need to work on their customer service skills cause they are horrible
I had a plumbing emergency & called around to some companies. ARS was the only one willing to come out the same day. I live outside Franklin county & within 90 minutes of calling ARS they already had a service tech on the way. Corbin was very informative & wasted no time fixing our issue. ARS was also the best price for what we had done. The other companies I spoke to charged a lot more & didn’t want to come out until 3-5 days. I’d recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter to anyone with any plumbing emergency or issue.

At first it did not start well. I was referred to them by another company because the other company was not able to do it. We had a schedule for Saturday between 4 and 6. I made a call at 5:30 to make sure I was still on the list and the answer was yes and a tech would get ahold of us soon. No one called. I called about every half hour until about 8:30 just to find out our job was completed. But it wasn't. Someone did finally come on Sunday. They could not fix it. They had John finally come on Monday and he found the problem, Haley was very friendly on the phone and she made sure my problem was going to get resolved. She kept me informed on where John was at and what was going on. Nick and Mark came today and they were friendly and showed me what they were doing and explained everything to me. They did a wonderful job. Thanks to Haley, John, Mark and Nick, they made a bad experience into a good one. And will definitely call them again. Thank you so much for defusing a bad experience.

This company is TRASH! I called to have someone come look at my hot water heater that is leaking. Have had it for 16 years. We are aware it probably has to be replaced. Spoke with someone on Thursday evening, someone came out on Friday (late but it was communicated). Scheduled service for install on Saturday (TODAY) between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Well that time came and went with no communication what so ever. No text, no phone call, NOTHING! So I call ARS not once, not twice, but 3 TIMES. Got a different rep each time. The first and last person were nice. The 2nd person which was a male was VERY RUDE! Unnecessary rude at that, sir if I'm having an issue and it's not your probem fine but don't be a complete mean person about it. YOU are in customer service if you don't like your job FIND A NEW ONE! So each rep stated they were reaching out to a manager. So this manager has 3 messages to call or communicate in some way NOTHING. Well since you all are completely DISRESPECTFUL of my time and do not have COMMON DECENCY to at least reach out I've CANCELLED my order and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! THANK GOD FOR ROTO ROOTER!! They came out within 30 minutes of my online inquiry TODAY and replaced my hot water heater TODAY!! You all should work on your approach to handling business because you are HORRIBLE!!!REVIEW UPDATE: Monday July 11, 2022 Jason reaches out to investigate what happened with my service. Come to find out a few things weren't done to ensure my order was completed appropriately. People didn't show up to work, etc. I appreciate Jason for his interest in making this right. Had great service today from ARS to replace our badly leaking water heater. Lowe's put us quickly in touch with an assessor, Andy who came to our place straight away and checked out the model and installation detail wwe needed. Then by mid-afternoon, we werre able to get an apointment with tech Devin, who did a great job getting our new power vent tank installed, the old one hauled away, and cleaning up our mess. Devin was thorough, efficient, and quite personable. Thanks to all!.
I had ARS out to look at my sewer line as it was backed up. They were very timely and showed/ explained everything to me. I really want to thank John and his team for everything they did during the process and they were very flexible with my work schedule. Will definitely use them again if any other issues arise and will refer to friends if they have any plumbing issues.
I bought a water heater through Lowes. ARS is contracted with Lowes to do the installation of their water heaters. We went with a 50 gallon water heater and it was $2700 ($1800 for installation and permitting). That seems exceedingly high but it is likely a result of government caused hyper-inflation.That not withstanding, they provided same-day quote and install. Because of their need to fit the install in both the quote and the install came after the estimated 2-3 hour ranges and I had to follow up with their dispatch to see if the install was still going to happen. It was supposed to be installed between 2-4 and the tech came at 6:20 while we were finishing dinner and trying to get the kids to bed. (Made harder with hot water off) Would've been nice if they had offered a bit of a discount considering the quote was scheduled at 10-12 and they came at 12:05 and the install scheduled at 2-4 and they came at 6:20 so I was basically waiting most of the entire day.All this being said, Jonathan was a great tech. He was personable, considerate of our kids needs, explained what he was doing and proper maintenance, he saw the job through even though it kept him late, and he thought to leave the old heater to evaporate and pick it up a couple of days later so that it wouldn't ruin our light carpet with rust water stains. The job was also inspected by the city and passed.
They came to repair the utility sink leak, replaced the corroded copper pipe to the efficient plastic tubing. Leak fixed, was done within the hour.. Showed the finished work and made sure I was satisfied. ? Other than the sticker price cost, completely satisfied. No one is ever prepared to spend so much for plumbing work.. It is what it is.. Finished job well done. Thank you.

After my property's local maintenance took 8 months to fix my aircon and 9 months to admit they couldn't fix the porcelain throne, Devin came in like a boss. Literally 45 seconds to identify the issue, 5 minutes to gather the tools, 5 minutes to fix the issue and leave not a single bit of evidence he had ever been there. This guy is well worth whatever the heck you're paying him!

This company is a complete scam. We had some water in our basement and called them because they had decent reviews and could get out quick enough to us. They said that it would cost $70 just for them to come out, then when they came out they didn't do an assessment or anything. The guy just said I need to sneak your drain and it's going to cost $500. We were in a panic at that point and just went ahead with it. What he said and apparently what he reported when I called were two different things. The camera guy came out and could not see anything and then did not give us a video. After having some people come out and check things out, we had discovered that our gutters were clogged and that was a source of the backup of water that got into our basement. At the time we were a little panicked and they took advantage of that. The water was not backing up at that time when we flushed the toilet or used the sinks and we did not think otherwise since we called someone who's technically a professional. At this point I would not call them that though. They try to pressure us into an exploratory dig without any real information and just pushed financing on us without any other options. And their money back guarantee is not a guarantee, they pretty much don't care at all when I called to talk to them. Safe yourself the money and time.

ARS came out because the floor drain was stinking up the house. They put a camera in the line (after flushing the drain, both snaking and hydrojetting) and said we have a 55' belly in our line. The proposed solution was to replace 60' of line and add an outside cleanout. Cost of this was almost $18,000 and we would've had to remove our privacy fence (which was just put up and cost $5,500 to put it up). We got 2 more opinions and after pinging the line to check the depth, 90' out it was only 6'8. We simply did not have enough fall in the line. Had we spent $18,000 to replace the pipe, the problem would still exist because there was not enough fall/grade in the line. Another company (as seen in picture 2) charged $10,000 and replaced 30' of line and had the pipe come out from the wall, which gives the line about 4' of drop (so that gravity will take care of the rest). And we did not have to remove our fence cause they worked around it.I felt that the ARS rep was more like a used car salesman rather than someone who was trying to help. It's always good to get several opinions, and I would definitely not recommend ARS to anyone because not only are their prices ridiculous, but their solutions don't make sense either and would end up exacerbating a problem so that they can keep coming out and getting more money.

Replaced a septic lift station pump.. excellent service and though it took a bit of time as part was not in truck, the service tech did a great job.
They started off late very late it took them 30 minutes to complete. I was shocked that I still had to pay the charge that
I was quoted . Although it only took 30 minutes to complete.
Attempted to have them out on a Sunday as they agreed but would not provide me with a time. This is okay since it's after hours, but 6 hours later, I've heard nothing. I called customer service and she still couldn't give me a time but promised a tech would reach out with an ETA. Well, over an hour later after 9pm, I've still heard NOTHING from anybody. This is unprofessional.. Do NOT even attempt to respond back with a lame excuse that says Sorry James. We were busy on jobs and couldn't break away for 1 minute to update you.This is unacceptable and I remember why I was hesitant on using this company in the first place. Even if it is an emergency. I'd rather my house have no plumbing than use this junk company.
Kyle installed a new water heater. An excellent job removing the old heater and installing the new one. He did a nice clean, neat job in a short time. I would definitely recommend Kyle and Recuse Rooter for plumbing work as he is a very friendly, knowledgeable person that does excellent work!

Just talked to the resident. She hasn’t showered in several days and they DID NOT fix her shower. And I got no call from them letting me know.
1st call, guy calls 15 min after appt and says the company gas card got declined so he has to reschedule. Reschedule next day for 10am to 12pm. 1pm rolls around, nothing. I call, your next, he'll be there within 2 hours. 4pm, nothing, I call, he's on the way. 4:30 shows up, unclogged it, charges double what other companies charge. NEVER AGAIN.

My neighbors used this company to repair their sewer line. On the day of their repair, a manager with ARS came to my door stating they needed to cut down a ~10ft section of my privacy fence in order to repair the line. After having him explain to me the process, and him guaranteeing the fence would be completely repaired by 3pm that day, I agreed. I wrote up a statement of work that was going to be done, granting ARS permission to cut my fence and repair my fence in the same day (I believe this was July 25th or 26th).Once they completed their job next door, they took off without repairing my fence. The ~10ft section of privacy fence is currently leaning up against my garage in the alleyway... It has now been almost 6 weeks of minimal response, 3 separate dates/times have been given to me for repair, all 3 have come and gone. Unfortunately, this company can not be trusted with communication, or seeing a project through to completion. Extremely disappointing.
They were very professional and got the job done. Gas scares me and they explained what was wrong, why I had a leak and exactly how they fixed it. It helped put my mind at ease. Job well done!

Point of sale was fine. Kyle on install was quick and good. No complaints. Only 4 stars due to cost of goods….. essentially paid $1500 for permit and a 2 man 1.5 hour on-site install. (1 hour for getting tank and disposing of old) Tank itself is only $900 if I brought it here from Lowes.
Kyle and Tony came out to install a new water heater for me. They were both very professional in every way they interacted with me and each other. They were both very knowledgeable about the installation, “It wasn’t their first day!!!” Very good experience. I would highly recommend ARS if you need a hot water heater installed.

Terrible work. We had them out several times to clean out drains that still don't work. The last time, they did less than half of the work, then charged us 20 % more than the price they quoted.Their quote included $780 for a pump truck they said was needed to pump out a drain pit. No truck ever showed up. Our drains still backed up the last time it rained.They don't deliver what they promise.

John and his crew were responsive and helped get us back up and running quickly. They did everything that was needed, (or what I was told was needed), which I appreciate.What I do wonder about now that they finished the work before 6pm is the cost. I was quoted a “flat rate” of over $7000. Extremely expensive. I appreciate the responsiveness and how they came out same day and repaired everything within a few hours, (I called around 1:30pm and they left my property before 6pm). I also get it is extremely close to the weekend, but it’s still NOT the weekend. I wonder if I wasn’t taken advantage of since I needed the repair right now and couldn’t shop around, and they knew that. We had no ability to use toilets or anything.EDIT: So the more I look the more I think I was heavily overcharged here, especially since I called at 1:30pm on Friday and the job was finished before 6pm. Also most of the area was already excavated, (they brought and used a backhoe, but I think this was done because they knew I was paying over $7000. The replacement and break was only a few feet long. They added a cleanout and supposedly cleaned my line to the street, but I’m guessing this was done to help justify such a high charge… changed from 5 stars to 2 (not 1 due to the promptness…), but again, I had no choice here. Either accept the $7000 price or go without toilets and showers all weekend.I also was never given a breakdown of the charges.2nd EDIT: now that I have a look at the work, it’s far more simple than I would have thought and exactly what I would have done for less than $100 in materials. I would have used a piece of PVC connected by 2 black rubber couplings (no cleanout), and called it a or have it day. These prices and the way things were explained to me were predatory. They knew I was in a situation I thought was much more serious than it was, and it was heavily played up. Sure, I wouldn’t have known to pull a permit or had it inspected, (because I wouldn’t have known), but these prices and the work that was done is ridiculous compared to the prices. Do not call this company.3rd EDIT response to business response: saying you’re not the “cheapest” isn’t even close to the issue at hand. This is predatory and price gouging. There is a clear difference between “being expensive” and ripping customers off, especially customers who may be in dire straights or not know the situation. I was charged an “flat rate” $7115 for a job that should have cost me likely between $500-$2000 from what I’ve gathered.Btw, the phone number for “quality assurance” you provided isn’t even in service!!!

If you use this company make sure you DON'T get Kyle. He cost me extra 450 dollars since he didn't fix it right the first time. Company wouldn't fix it under warranty since it was 14 months til the problem reappeared.
Devin was courteous, clean and professional! He arrived on time, explained the things that could be the culprit and explained my options. He was never pushy and provided a quote before the work started. The work was done quickly with no mess left behind and all my questions were answered. Went through Lowe’s today ( Saturday) to get a Hot Water tank bought and installed. Lowe’s contacted this business who kept claiming I was “next on the technician’s list”. They never came. Never called. When I finally called back again - they said “ I’ll get to the bottom of this”. Guess what: no call back again. I would NOT trust this company at all. How many lies did they tell me in one day? Can I give ZERO stars.

I had a significantly clogged pipe and it was after hours. I called and spoke with a very nice person who scheduled me right away. Our Plumber’s name was Steven and he was absolutely incredible. Very personable and upfront about cost and explained everything. He fixed the clog very quickly and made sure everything worked. Will definitely use this company again.
After Roto-Rooter delayed my appointment then rescheduled to the next day from noon-2. They called at 10 pm and wanted to know if I still wanted them to come. The service man arrived at 10:30 said it would cost $590 and he didn't have the machine to do the job.I called Rescue Rooter. They scheduled me for the next day, 2-4. They called at 3 to say they were running a little late. Corbin and assistant arrived by 4:45. They removed a massive root ball that cleared the clogged sewer line, checked to make sure the problem was fixed, and were out the door by 5:30. All for $89.00. They were pleasant and professional. Rescue Rooter is my go to company from now on.

On the evening our water heater was scheduled to be replaced, the technician was an hour and a half late and never called to let us know that he'd be late. After he finally arrived, he spent 45 minutes in the basement, realized he had the wrong water heater, and then left without reconnecting anything. He said that someone would be back around 8am, he didn't show up until 1045 and it took him 3 hours to replace our water heater. I've called multiple times to discuss this and I've yet to receive a call back. Terrible communication and I would never reccomend them.
ARS/Rescue Rooters has provided good service in the past, but the individual sent to provide a quote lacked moral. Ryan came to my residence to give me a quote for the installation of a water heater and quoted $1600 (just for installation). The water heater was purchased ahead of time and only requiring installation. My advice is to know a fair expense amount prior to contacting this company. If they have an opportunity to capitalize and make extra money, they will definitely take it.

We had Austin as our technician. He was very professional, polite, and helpful. The lady I spoke to when setting up the appointment was super nice and understanding. We had a new fridge dropped off, so in order to get everything fixed they had to work around the delivery of our fridge. Which was done with ease. From start to finish we had a wonderful experience with this company and I would highly recommend them.
A different company came out to look at a clogged floor drain, and things escalated very quickly to them wanting to dig up my house to replace old pipes. They quoted me over $18,000 that they wanted up front, and told me a long as they could find a break in the pipe that insurance would reimburse me. This and many other things they said raised so many red flags, so I told them no and wanted a second opinion.I was put in touch with ARS and John was able to come out the next day. He had me start from the beginning of what the other company told me, and then he ran a camera through the pipes and explained everything he was doing and seeing clearly. He did not see any of the breaks or cracks the other guy allegedly found, and he presented us with multiple solutions of varying costs.There is potentially a very long road ahead of us depending on what he finds once a pipe gets cleared, but we were never pressured into anything and weren't lied to about insurance. To top everything off, I asked John what we owed him for running his camera and taking a second look, and he didn't even hesitate to say he wasn't going to charge us a thing given everything we went through the day before.So thank you, John, for everything you did for us today. We look forward to working with you.

ARS came out to my house and without even checking anything said they were going to charge me $420 to unclog my drain. I asked them how do you know it is a simple clog and not roots or something else? I asked how do you even know where the supposed clog is? He said he didn't..he would charge $420 to snake it and if that didn't work charge me $189 an hour to diagnose it. I was in SHOCK. How about diagnose it first, then tell me how much it is going to be and perform the service... not a hit or miss type of thin. That's a lot of money for not being sure of something. When I told him NO and thanked him for coming and for his time... he told me we could discuss the price. No. I'm not about to negotiate prices back and forth. I ended up calling Eco Plumbers who diagnosed FIRST, quoted a price and then performed the service perfectly.

Tony and Kyle were very professional and installed a new water heater in one night. I had previously worked with another technician and he came to our house twice and did nothing. Tony and Kyle stayed late drove to Lancaster bought a new water heater to make sure they could install it the same day. I would recommend these two to anyone needing plumbing repairs done.
Rescue rooter came out to unclog my rain gutter downspouts and drain lines. Sam the young man that came out, did an absolutely fantastic job. I am extremely pleased with how professional he was the work that he did and cleaning up and wrapping up everything that I needed done. I would highly recommend Sam and rescue rooter to those needing service on their plumbing drain lines or other items. I am very pleased with the work done and will definitely use them again if I ever need plumbing services.
Purchased a new hot water tank and installation from Lowes. ARS is their local contractor partner for the install. Kyle, the plumbing tech, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the process. As the customer, I always felt he had my best interests in mind. He even saved me some money. Who does that anymore? And he went above and beyond when he discovered the tank Lowes had delivered was damaged. He gladly returned it to Lowes to exchange it. Kyle is a true asset to his company, ARS, and kept me from having a bad experience with Lowes.
They installed a new a/c system Matt was very helpful and it made chosing ARS to do the install very easy. The two young men that showed up the next morning was on time and very respectful and got the job done. They explained everything and if I had any concerns or questions they were very knowledgeable about their job. I wish I could give 10 stars I and beyond 5 star happy.

I had a hot water tank ready to blow at my place of business, they were out first thing the next morning (even after a day of heavy rain and flooding in the area). My tech was professional, friendly and courteous (I believe his name was Kyle, I’m horrible with names, I apologize if I got that wrong). I also had a garbage disposal replaced. Everything works great, and no more worries about the hot water tank giving out. Would recommend ARS Rescue Rooter to anyone looking for plumbing work.

This is the second time we used them and they are awesome. I called on a Saturday night around 1030 PM and was surprised to hear someone answer the phone. They were able to arrange for someone to come out the following morning arriving at around 900 AM. They were quick to establish the problem and fix it very quickly at a reasonable price! On a Sunday morning! They will always be our go to anytime we have plumbing issues!
I called at 7:00pm, and the technician was at my house by 8:30 the next morning. The technician was pleasant and courteous. He was honest and called another technician out to review the purchase options since he was new to the company and did not want to mis-quote anything. The service was quick and thorough. Overall a very good experience!!

Not impressed with this company or their service. I won't go into all the details but I thought when they offered the service of jet scouring our septic system that they would be somewhat familiar with a septic system. They were not. They didn't open half of the boxes to even see inside. They jet scoured only the tanks up to the inspection box, which they seemed unfamiliar with, and called it a block that they couldn't clean past, when our blockage and issues were definetely past that, in the leech field, and my husband was 10 minutes from having the box dug up and accessible for them. But instead of trying to get past to finish the job, they packed up and left. Our quote for the job was for 2 hours of work. They stayed 45 minutes, didn't complete the job or solve our issue, and still charged us over $1,000. A complete waste of money.Hired someone else to do the job correctly and it cost only $215 for 3 hours of work and the job was done successfully. Thank you Affordable Septic!! I will not be calling back ARS

Service install was professional, quick, knowledgable, did a great job. Sales person was not experienced and poorly managed the upfront sale and poor communication. Main office was responsive to help me, and gave me a discount for sales issues. I would still recommend. The work done was excellent.
We were desperate to return to a hot water house! Went to Lowe's, set up a request for service right on the associate's phone & had a return call from rescue rooter by the time I got home. Rob came out immediately, fully discussed all my options, set up the tech appt, and we had hot water by 8PM. The install was efficient, clean, & thorough. I wasn't home when they unclogged my pipes. My kitchen and bathroom sink drains were backed up and the water wouldn't go down. As soon as I got home from work Corbin knocked on the door for a follow up visit. He was professional, nice and even wore booties to prevent my carpet from getting dirty. Corbin was not the technician who worked on my drains. Whoever that was decided not put my things back under the sink and just left them out on the floor. Otherwise this review would have 5 stars. But overall I'm very happy!
We were installing water and drain lines for an upstairs washer. We were pleased with the work he did in the basement of this older home in order to facilitate having water and drain lines upstairs, He was careful going in and out of the home and was diligent in carrying out the work. Am very relieved to have found ARS and would definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed.

Jake was outstanding. He braved subzero temps to come out to our house in the middle of the night to deal with a major leak. Despite the conditions, he was incredibly friendly and informative. While he recommended services and replacement parts, he was never pushy about them. While I am in no rush to have to deal with this issue again, I will be sure to call ARS if I do.

I have lived in my house for 20+ years and this was the first time I needed plumbing services. I was having 2 issues requiring attention. My main sewer line had a leak near the clean out and a toilet supply line was leaking through the floor into my basement.I called for an appointment and someone was sent out to give me an estimate the same day. With the current Covid-19 situation, I was worried about having someone come to my house. Damon, my service provider, arrived well protected. He wore a mask and gloves and put shoe covers on before coming into my house. Damon was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained what repairs I needed, gave me a cost estimate and was very flexible with scheduling my service. I asked and received a much appreciated discount for being a front line health care worker.My work was completed by Damon 2 days later. He is an experienced provider and was very conscientious and efficient in completing the job. I am most happy with the work that was done and will be calling ARS and asking for Damon for any future work I need.
They came after I discovered a gas leak and was shut off by the utility company. The technician was very polite professional and safe, explained the issue, describe the repair and work with me alongside the home warranty company to validate coverage. Once authorized, promptly made the repair and the utility company was contacted And the gas is back on! We appreciate all your help!!!!

They came the same day I called. The guy replaced both toilets (which we had been having trouble with). He even went with me to Home Depot to make sure I got the right parts. He finished in a reasonable time. The toilets have worked perfectly since he installed them. He even took the old toilets with him for disposal. I would recommend their services.

Called ARS because my kitchen sink was clogged. Spoke to Penny who was very helpful and got scheduled for the next day. Next day, no one showed up, no one called. I am giving them 3 stars because I had to call them to figure out why no one called me or showed up as scheduled! I decided to give them another chance and rescheduled. Tech Vernon came out, was extremely helpful, fixed the issue on the spot at a reasonable price, and even cleaned up behind himself! Service was great, scheduling could be improved. Would probably look around before using them again simply due to the lack of consideration for my time.

From the time I called to have them come out just for an estimate to install a waterline/shut-off valve for my refrigerator, until the actual job was completed, only took them 3 1/2 hrs., all in the same day, on a Saturday even!! Unlike 2 other plumbing companies that had me scheduled for just an estimate 1-2 weeks out!Vern and Jacob were very courteous, professional and informative as to my options. Stephen and Corey came to out to my house for his last job of the day on a Saturday. He made sure to complete the job. We had a rag some how in the main line. He went outside on the 20 degree temps to use the 6inch clean out and went 100 feet. The problem was the junction between the house and main line. So Stephen took clean inside the home and floor drain to finish the job. For $420 the original quote it seemed worth to know all the lines are clean. Could have other companies been cheaper not sure but the job was done correctly as the main line had lots of roots that need to be removed. All this late on Saturday evening. I was hesitant to use a National company but I would recommend this company 100%.Thanks
First time contacting a plumber in Columbus and contacted ARS Rescue Rooter from a recommendation. Very responsive and fantastic communication on the status of technicians and problem. First time customer but there service and rapport was as if we'd had a long time relationship. Price was exactly as quoted with no surprise expenses. Hopefully I don't have future plumbing issues but wouldn't hesitate to call ARS again or recommend to others.
We had a valve for our Washing machine, which is located on the first floor, fail. This caused a leak into our basement. Repair was done quick, and affordably. We would recommend this company.
These folks went above and beyond! I would highly recommend them to anyone. There was a lot of work to be done as it’s an older home. They worked hard, stayed late, made sure we got what we wanted and when the new toilet we ordered showed up broken, they put it in their truck, drove it to the store we ordered it from, got it exchanged for one that wasn’t broken and even got the store to refund the delivery fee. They did not check the new from Lowes water heater. It is broken . Just installed it and when calked them back the arrogant young installer just shrugged his shoulders. Allegedly, A.O Smith was overnighting the broken part. Well many nights have passed and no part, no hot water. I also think the crooks did not install a new supervent. It makes just as much noise as the old worn out one. On top of this they charged me $3000 to install a broken water heater.
My sump pump went out overnight. Called ARS at 730am, and they were here by 9:20am...THE SAME DAY! I was given installation options without gimmicks. Rob and his co-worker did a great job, and it was very professional! It's also nice to deal with polite, friendly service professionals. Great Job! Keep up the good work!
We called ARS because a downspout drain was overflowing at ground level. John M came promptly, was professional and very friendly. He used his sewer pipe inspection camera to find just where it was plugged underground and he marked it. He then took the time to explain it and advised my son and me of several options. He was honest and very helpful and said to call him if we ever have any problems. I actually think of him as a friend now.

I used Rescue Rooter for a very large leak last September. Jake and his crew were fantastic! Very professional and did a great job. I had another small leak a few weeks ago. Specifically asked for Jake to come and check it. He was very patient and thorough but could not find a source for the leak. I kept in touch with him and updated him when leaks occurred. Today he came back, located the problem, the problem was again fixed quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Rescue Rooter for any plumbing issue. Everyone from the lady who answers the phone to the crew who comes out for the repair is friendly and professional.

John responded the morning after I scheduled the free estimate and ran a camera through my gutter drain to find the problem - a disconnect in the pipe. He did not charge me for the camera, unlike a company I used previously. He then ran a sensor along the drain line to pinpoint where the break was, marked it with white paint, and gave me the option of him fixing it for me or me doing it myself (I chose the latter). The whole appt lasted about 10 minutes. Very happy with John’s professionalism. I’ve found my new company for dealing with drain problems and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Bailey put in a new frost-proof spigot with an in-rhe-house shut off valve for that line. The technician provided a good estimate of work involved & time required, scheduled the work before they left, and performed the work very much to my satisfaction. This is an excellent company and Bailey is a superb plumber.
I had a bad experience. Pease read.I called an online number and was directed through their dispatch to a technician who scheduled an appointment to unclog the mainline pipe in my house. The technician on the phone said that there was no cost for the technician to diagnose the problem and would give me a detailed estimate before starting the work. I asked if there was set pricing for clearing the mainline pipe. He said that they don't have set pricing and that the technician would give an estimate on site. I received a call back from dispatch a few minutes later to inform me that there would be a $70 charge for travel since they were coming out from Columbus to Newark. I said that was ok. The technician arrived looked at the drain where there had been a backup for two minutes and quoted me $485 to clear the drain. He showed me his tablet that showed structured pricing and explained that it cost $150 more to have the work done over the weekend. He also quoted $250 to clear the mainline if the cleanout was outside. He said I could use a coupon on their website. The coupon on the website is $89.It was a real bait and switch maneuver with the company hoping I was desperate enough to pay twice as much as a local plumber would charge. I paid the $70 travel fee and sent the plumber on his way. I will use a local plumber who works for himself and depends on a good reputation rather than ARS who sends jobs to whoever will pick up a phone and can drive a van.UPDATE: ARS reached out to me and apologized for my experience. They promptly refunded the $70 travel fee. They said that they don't have weekend pricing and that the first person I talked to was wrong about their pricing. I'm very displeased with the plumber who came to my house because what he told me is different from what the company told me. I am pleased that my complaint was addressed with professionalism.

My grandmother was having some problem with a pipe leaking and causing issues out in the street in front of our home. These gentlemen went above and beyond when taking their time with an 80 year old woman that had questions and wanted to be sure she understood what was going on with her repairs. The three fellas that came out to my grandparents home were patient, detailed, friendly and above all professional at all times. Respectful of the home, respectful of the home owners. Not only did they do their jobs correctly and quickly... but they even did an amazing job of coordinating with the other parties involved (i.e. gas company, water company, etc) to get them in motion doing their portions as well. I can’t thank them enough for making my grandmother feel loved and valued as a customer. And ensuring her that they were caring for her property as if it was their own home.This is completely off subject, but I feel I have to add it. Our country is experiencing racial tensions higher than any ever seen in my lifetime. We are at a serious nationwide racial divide. To have three white guys come to the home of a black family and have hours of smiles, laughs, jokes, good times... that felt even better than the quality work that was done. Again, it’s not relevant to the job performed but I’ll be damned if it didn’t make me feel good inside. Appreciate you fellas. And will definitely recommend to anyone o know that needs your services.

It's rare to find a contractor passionate about his work and leaves you confident the job will be done as if he were doing a repair on his own home. Leo and other ARS staff treated our job exceptionally well after several prior plumbers had failed. They also tried to keep the job as inexpensive as the situation allowed, giving us options along the way, it was not a trival job (washer outlet, sink drain, mains, etc. a mess). Outstanding job guys!

Evan provided service by fixing a toilet which was running. He was polite, he was efficient, he kept me informed of what he was doing. He fixed the issue and made a positive impression. Leo from ARS came out and installed a gas fireplace in my house, as well as doing some gas line repairs. He was prompt and courteous, and all work performed was within the reasonably priced estimate. I would definitely use these guys again for any of my plumbing needs.
My sump pump stopped working in the evening and I needed it replaced ASAP. ARS was able to dispatch someone immediately and he took care of the problem. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased with the work that was done.
I had excellent customer service setting up a same day appointment due to a shower leak in a rental home. In the end I was charged $204 for the technician to cut a hole in the ceiling in an attempt to find the source of a shower leak. The leak was not found or fixed. I was able to determine and fix the leak on my own. This may have been due to chance where the technician wasn't able to recreate the leak, but I would personally try another service next time.

We had some nasty plumbing work done this summer. I just want to commend ARS and all the team who worked on our mess. Everyone was so kind and respectful. I especially would like to thank Jacob who really went way beyond our expectations to make sure everything was done correctly. Although I had to had call and request service for a second time and Devan got it done in a timely manner without any messy left overs and there are no other issues with my toilet.
I'm finishing my basement and needed assistance locating my existing drain lines under my basement slab. I called ARS for an estimate. John M came out and provided great advice that allowed me to find the pipes on my own. No charge. Free advice. Great service. I found my drain line this weekend and John saved me time and hundreds of dollars. I'll be calling ARS for all of my future plumbing needs.
Evan came right on time. He diagnosed the problem quickly and explained the repair. He finished the job in good time and cleaned up afterwards. He was very personable and funny and it was a pleasure to have him in our home. He even asked if we had any other problems we might need to have looked at. I've used Rescue Rooter for years and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
We have a new build and had recently moved in. Over the weekend the main backed up, ARS sent Jacob Zander to our home to figure out the problem. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very patient when explaining what was going on. After 4 hours of using the snake and going the full 100 ft, still was backing up. he discussed options with us and suggested the jet stream. 125 ft and 15 minutes later, he corrected the issue!!! We appreciate his tenacity in not giving up. He cleaned everything up well and left after spending 6 hours with us. We appreciate him and his time!

Took several hours to repair shower faucet. Which I understand. Had to drill screw out. However, he left metal shavings in and around tub plus tracked mud in tub from shoes. When he finally got done he made no effort at all to clean up. Just had me sign for payment then left. Very unprofessional. Also put tools that smelled like sewer on top of my vanity without a towel or anything
This review is for a technician named Jeff who works for ARS Columbus. He was totally knowledgeable about the equipment he used to jet my downspout lines from the house to the street. Very pleasant guy and personable. Got my job done on a Saturday afternoon with no fuss. I usually am a DIYer and when I detected this problem I was considering on going to the local big box hardware store to rent a snake. I would then have to figure out how to use it, wonder if it was tearing through my drain lines, and return it back to the rental place 4-6 hours later already tired for the effort. Jeff came to the door and within an hour had the job done. Thanks Jeff! You made my Saturday a much easier day.

We had issues with our water heater on Sunday (yesterday). I was pleased that we could have someone come out to take a look and let us know what we needed to do. The office offered a 30 min call ahead prior to someone arriving (which we did not get). The gentleman that arrived looked at our water heater and stated he didn't have the parts necessary to fix the problem. Fine. We set up a window to have a tech come out this morning between 8-12, ***requesting a 30 min call ahead*** at roughly 11:50 am we had heard nothing, so we called. We were unapologeticly told that they were just about to call us, they were slammed with emergencies and would need to change our window to between 2-6pm. It would have been nice to have a heads up. It would have been polite to do that for customers that have been waiting all morning. The woman who answered the phone simply interrupted the concerns voiced and was rude. I've worked in customer service for 13 years. This is UNACCEPTABLE. If you cannot take the work, simply voice that. It's understandable. We would have made other arrangements. I've been at home all day and have not heard from them. It's after the 6pm window. We FINALLY received a call at 6:30. They have inconvenienced my entire family.
Don't call if you need any emergency work done. I had a pipe with a leak I found around noon. Called as was given an estimated time a tech would be available. An hour after the estimated time I called for an update and the dispatch had no clue but we're going to call local dispatch manager. At this point I have still not received a call back. I would recommend A Mann Plumbing instead as they came out within 45 minutes and fixed my issue. ARS/Rescue Rooter, epic fail. Will never call or recommend you again! If I could give a negative rating I would. Very poor execution and support.

ARS fixed a drain problem in my house that we have been having for a year and a half. John can on Monday May 4th wrote up a quote and had a crew to us on Tuesday morning. Alex & Conner are professional plumbers and within a day my problem was fixed and Alex can back the next day to put the water tank back after the concrete set and he fixed all the fittings on my water tank because the company before did not use quality material and he made it right. I would recommend ARS for everything this company is awesome I would give them a 10 Star rating if I could.

The main house drain in my 90 year old house became clogged last night. Big inconvenience! no flushing or showers until it was fixed. Called ARS and they fit me in the next day. Zach C came to help. He was thorough and very considerate. He was careful and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Having such an old house, I have used many drain cleaning companies over the years, but I think ARS is my new favorite.
John did a great job getting our repairs done again and Haley was great at making sure we got it done fast. With two small kids it was really important that this got done quickly and they did. THANK YOU!!!
Dan was at my house within the stated window, and i got a notification at 45 minutes out. When he arrived, he went over the price and what was going to happen. Throughout the entire encounter he was very polite and seemed very knowledgeable. He performed my line clog removal in quick fashion, and removed a very large clump of tree roots. After the machine was done he cleaned up the area (and also put on cloth booties over his work boots from the beginning) and made sure i was satisfied for the work. We had a late night issue with our basement drain backing up. Jake took the call around 12:30-1am and arrived very quickly despite having a busy night of calls that night. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and resolved it just as fast. We we're getting water flooding in and we really appreciate how quickly and efficiently he was able to get it under control before we started suffering real flooding damage in our basement. I would gladly recommend Jake and ARS to anyone and plan to keep his number on standby if we have any future needs. Thanks again!

I called ARS to repair my kitchen sink. They had a technician (Kyle) at my home within the hour. He did an outstanding job at an outstanding price. I will use ARS for all my plumbing needs.
This place are price gouging elderly people. Let me explain, my mother 70 years old called because she heard water running. My brother-in-law called this company and someone was supposed to call before coming out. They just show up without a call...So she asked if he was there to give her an estimate he said yes. He looked at it and told her it was just a coupling it shouldn't be very much. The next day was Christmas Eve..Then Christmas so he could send someone out after Christmas. So a different guy shows up and says it will be $2200. So she says well the other guy Sayed it wouldn't be that much and his reply was he's new he don't know.Well you must be thinking this was going to be a big job for that price...Several hours maybe...Some digging even.. Nope he was there for an hour...Yep you heard me right 1 hour. All he did was replace a coupling ( a $30 part I can get from Lowe's) and replaced 25 feet of plastic tubing (I can get 100 foot roll at Lowe's for $50) so less than $100 in parts and one hour of time for $2200. I've checked around and this should not have cost more than $700 and that was on the steep in. The good news is they gave her a military discount though. They only gouged her for $1700 to make her feel like she was getting a good deal
They did a great job of replacing our water heater. The job was done quickly and we have working hot water again. They also removed the old water heater.

As a loyal customer to most Companies, I have always stayed true to Roto Rooter. However that all changed today with the experience I had with Rescue Rooter. Not because of the task performed but the personable and professionalism of Austin (Field Tech). As soon as he showed up at the door, he recognized that my floor was just replaced within six months ago. Noticing this, Austin had covered his shoes with a sock cover to ensure that my floor would not get dirty. After introducing himself, Austin became very personable towards me, which made this experience A plus. He was very helpful and nice towards my family as well. I have been on the board of Director’s for Oak Creek housing in the past, which I have built a lot of relationship with over 100 plus neighbors. This company can't be trusted. I scheduled an appointment to get a few things done to update our water meter to the current code. The job seemed pretty simple, but the technician kept insisting that the job was going to be extremely labor intensive and would take over 5 hours to complete. Due to the urgency of needing the work done, we scheduled them to come out the following day. After 2 consecutive days of not showing up without calling ahead of time, the technician came out and completed the work. He was 4 hours late based on the rescheduled appointment time, and it took the technician a total of ONLY 30 minutes to complete the job. Because the original quote was dishonest and deceptive, we were charged the amount as if the work took 5-6 hours to complete. Its worth noting that the only parts that were purchased to complete this job was (2) meter spuds which retail for less than $10 per piece. I've called around 20 times, but have only been in touch with the location GM once. After sending him the before and after pictures of the work that was completed, I have not heard back on any reason to justify the absurd amount that we were charged.

Not happy. The guy who came to fix our gas was very nice and friendly. But we ended up with $1500 holes in the ceiling. And we had to pay for the time it took to create them. And the grounding was done badly. He cut the grounding wire too short. Free tip, grounding wire should go clear through the copper clamp. On both sides. You shouldn't be able to move it with your hand.
Corbin was absolutely amazing! He came early, and was very polite, clean and organized. He immediately assessed the problem and fixed it efficiently and professional. Five stars for Corbin!

Nick came to do what I thought was to be a simple gas line install for a gas stove. It turned out to need a complex install going back and forth through several walls. He provided a quote and a time to schedule the job for the next day. He and his colleague were very professional. In the end, I decided not to do the install, so I can't evaluate their work, but the interaction with them was excellent.

Alex the technician did a great job. I do have to say I had quite an issue with the original sales person, John, who did not communicate well with others. Consequently there had to be rework and refunds.... But in the end Alex came through.
I had an estimate from another company. The estimate was extremely expensive and the work couldn't be done for a month. ARS came out, found the direction of the sewer line and fixed it the next day. And saved me close to $3,000. I highly recommend. John Milburn was very helpful and offered solutions.

This company tried to take my granddaughter for thousands of dollars. Clog in house, was quoted $5500.00 to start digging and told her walls and slab concrete had to be dug up. Didn't have any idea where the clog was. Someone else came out got unclogged and problem not in house. Possibly still problem in yard not in house to tear up. Paid $200.00 cash but looked at receipt says no charge for coming out. I guess he got a good tip !

Mr. Leo Long is a TRUE professional that not only knows what he is doing, but also gives a honest opinion and assessment of the situation and recommend the best plan to get it corrected for good.He arrived when scheduled, made recommendations, and completed the work the same day. he took extra care to not take short cuts and completed the installation to our satisfaction.He corrected our water heater expansion tank install that was done by another company during an Furnace and Air Conditioning upgrade. He redid all the copper work they put in and pressurized the expansion tank to the correct setting for the water pressure at my house. He also told me how to CORRECTLY drain the water heater once a year as a part Preventive Maintenance for the water heater. He also tighten the main cutoff valve from the city because it was dripping at no extra change.Mr. Long exemplified the highest level of professionalism. Chris Stewart was my technician for several days scheduled. I believe it was 5 days. He is the best plumber/ workman who my family or I have ever had at our home. In future I will request him for plumbing. He is extremely professional, trustworthy, honest and thorough in his work. He explained all work that needed done and answered any questions I had. We noticed a problem on a Friday morning in our master bathroom first the toilet wouldn't flush and then we had stuff coming up through the pipes Into the bath tub and then the shower. We had a few different guys out to assess the situation. They tried the snake, auger and nothing worked, at that time it would've done no good to try with the camera.There was mention of cutting our living room ceiling to replace the pipes or flushing out the pipes. I can tell you we were not liking those options. So we waited till Monday morning when a gentleman by the name of John Milburn came out, at that time he was able to get his camera down the pipe and get it unclogged. He saved us a lot of money because everyone else was talking the two options above.Thank you again John. We would definitely use this company again..

We just bought our new home Nov 5th and when we went to setup washer in laundry room found that water overflowed the drain & was all over our basement. We contacted Leo Long who did a great job of fixing the issue & set us up with a maintance plan for future issues with plumbing. Nick was the plumber that came to my house. I have old cast iron pipes that were in terrible shape. Bathroom sinks and bathtubs were completely blocked but he was tenacious in fixing the problem and now all the lines are clear! He is the best and I am completely satisfied. Nick came out on Christmas Eve to replace our garbage disposal. He was very kind and very quick at doing his job. When he was done with everything he cleaned up the area and It didn't even look like he was here. You can tell that he knew what he was doing and was not trying to pull your leg. I highly recommend this company to any future customer.
Our main drain was backing up so we called Rescue Rooter. Tommy arrived that same day and cleared the drain--no more water spilling into our basement. Tommy was knowledgeable and courteous and did the work in a very timely manner. The cost was less than we anticipated. Thank you very much Tommy for fixing a very serious problem!
Leo was honest and took the time to carefully explain our home plumbing issues with us. Instead of overcharging, he discussed better options with us that would save us money and give us a better home experience. Had a water main emergency on a Saturday. We called a couple others and they would not come out until Monday. Rescue Rooter were the only ones that would come out that day to see if they could help us out.They were at our house within an hour! Although they could not get the equipment necessary until Monday, they were able to identify the problem and suggest a solution , provide an estimate and book us for repairs Monday afternoon at the latest.Tommy and Brett showed up at 10:30 and had us all repaired and inspected by the town by 1:00 on Monday.I will definitely call them FIRST next time we are in need of a plumber. The technicians were friendly, respectful of my home (wore booties to keep the floor clean) and knew what they were doing.

Nick Young did a great job for me with all he had to deal with. His helper didn't show the second day and got fired because of it and the electric at the house went out for 3 1/2 hours making it very hard to work on my basement. I'm very happy with the new sump pump and I'm sure it will do a great job in keeping my basement dryer.Great job Nick

Had a plumbing emergency last night. They didn't have parts so they scheduled a guy out for 7:30 this morning. Here I am at 8:45 twiddling my thumbs. I called the office and the lady said they don't know why I was told 7:30 when they don't open til 8? I don't know either lady, I wasn't aware I was in charge of training your dispatchers. She can't confirm if someone came at 7:30 and couldnt find my unit, or if no one is coming, or if they are running behind. Oh, but she can get someone here in an hour, more than 2 hours after they were supposed to be here... Completely unacceptable. I probably dodged a bullet here. If scheduling someone out is this much of a cluster, I'm sure the service can't be much better.
I had originally contacted ARS a week ago. But when I called their call center I was put on hold for a very long period of time, so I hung up. However, I decided to call back on today and they sent out their Tech Cody. He was AWESOME and knew exactly what was wrong in a matter of minutes. Cody was able to fix the problem within a hour and now my boy's have hot water in their bathroom HALLELUJAH. The reason for the 4 star was because of my experience with the call center.

Back in May of 2018 I payed almost $5,000 for them to come out and replaced my sewer line. Everything works great except they drove a big backhoe through my yard. After the ground was settled they said they would come back out and repair the lawn. Here we are 8 months later and they still haven’t fixed my lawn.
I called ARS with a sewer line backup and before I knew it, I got to see what was causing the problem and was given several options to stop the problem. Friendly, knowledgeable, fast service and they continue to follow up on questions I have and do work without me having to ask. I wasn’t expecting that. Not only that but John Milburn and his crew went the extra mile and put a camera in my line at no additional cost just for my own curiosity and piece of mind that the job was done right. Needed basement drain unclogged. Technician said online coupon couldnt be used; then agreed to take it. Minutes later he came to tell me water needed to be drained first. They said I would need to have another company pump water out. I called another company who pumped water and fixed drain for less than 1/2 the price.

Unhappy with the results. Pipe still leaking. Repairman gave us a quote, worked on the pipes, then warned us it still could leak, and sure enough, it is. He left giving us a second quote that was higher than the first. My question is, why wasn’t this fixed with the initial quote and repaired right the first time? We’re left with a bucket full of water every time we take a shower. Will ARS step up and make this right for us without additional charge?
These people and this company did a phenomenal job for me.They took care of my problem when other plumbers would not even return my phone call.I needed my water service line from the curb box(city shut off valve) to my home repaired or replaced and had 10days to have it done per city of Gahanna.Had the line replaced and they even replanted my wife's hasta plants right back where they were. Our sewer backed up yesterday evening and needed a plumber to come out immediately to snake our line. I called ARS and they assured me that someone would be able to come out that night to fix the issue. 3 hours after my initial call, I called the dispatcher back to get an update on when someone would be out. They said they'd have the worker give me a call ASAP. No one called, not even this morning. I could've had another company come out, but instead wasted my time waiting for this company. Still no word from them.

This company quoted me 89.99 over the phone and when they came out they charged $275.00. we went ahead with the service but latter they called and asked how was the service and i explained that i was quoted 89.99 and they said the minimum charge is $275.00. Be careful with this company. they say one thing and do what ever they want. scammers!!!

I made an online appointment at 7:00pm for the next day, time range of 8-10 am. I expected a telephone call during this time to at least confirm my appointment and notification when service person was on the way. Neither happened. I ended up calling the company at 10:30 am notifying that I had not received a telephone call (yet I did receive an email confirmation). I said that I needed somebody right away or I need to cancel the appointment. The service rep put me on hold for approximately 2 mintues then came back to the phone and said I'll go ahead an cancel your appointment. So this confirms that I had an appointment listed, nobody bothered doing an actual real work. I called Roto Rooter and they came out the same day, finished my two broken toilet flanges and rebuilt 2 toilets all within 1 day. Very lousy service. Better plumbers elsewhere.

I had a backup in my sewer drain in the basement. Technician came out and it turned into a total debacle. Instead of placing his smaller snake directly into the floor drain, he fed the snake down the PVC pipe that runs from the basement floor up to the kitchen. This PVC pipe also has a Y coming off it where I hook the washer drain hose - this is where he fed his snake. Not only did this NOT fix the problem, he broke the PVC pipe off at the floor. I had to help him figure out which pieces he needed to repair the PVC.Then he got the big snake out of his truck and removed the toilet in the basement as an entry point for this snake. Why he did not use the sewer line clean out plug in the basement is beyond me. Using the access point where the toilet was, he finally got the sewer line open - TEMPORARILY!! Two weeks later the same thing happened so I called a different plumbing co. If this wasn't enough, I didn't watch him when he was putting the PVC pipe back together that he broke. The next day when I was running water in the kitchen and using the washing machine, I noticed the PVC pipe was leaking at the joints. After I looked closer, the joints were loose. The guy didn't even bother to clean and glue the joints. ALL HE DID WAS STICK THEM TOGETHER - UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I had to have a friend of mine who does plumbing to come over and we took the joints apart and put it all back together the correct way.. I'm not finished. When he was going back and forth to his truck trying to figure out what pieces he needed to repair the PVC, he got frustrated so he stopped using the foot covers. As a result, he tracked sewer water up the steps and over the area rug in the front room. I had to pay to get all this cleaned as well.

Scheduled service today between 10-2. No show, no call so i called at 2. Agent said she would have dispatcher call me. At 3 no call so called again. Agent put me on hold briefly and then told me tech had one more customer ahead of me and he was finishing at that customer. At 5 no call. At 5:15 tech called. He said he was overbooked and still had another client ahead of me. He said it would be 8-8:30 before he got here. I said that was too late and would be dark outside where he needed to flush a drain. He said he could get me placed at top of am list. 9 am. I am doutbful they will show. What a waste of my day and time.Update. Called this am and was told i am on the list today for between 10-2! No way will i waste another day waiting on these people

Absolutely useless. They advertise as a 24 hour emergency service and they were not able to meet those needs. I have a carbon monoxide leak from my water heater needing replaced and they had no technicians available to provide emergency service for two days. False advertising and unreliable.

I needed a new drainage line run to the street, and I was told a 4in wide trench would run between my car pad and my neighbors' driveway with a new hole bored in the curb to the street. I received a call to schedule the service, and I scheduled a 4 hour afternoon window. The technicians arrived in the morning instead. They said they did not have the equipment to bore the hole in the curb, but they could lay the pipe today. Next time I looked, the was a trench over a foot wide all the way around! When I asked about it, I was told that they didn't have the equipment to make the narrower hole on hand, so they just did this. My neighbors were NOT happy when they came home and saw. We we had described a 4in wide trench when we talked it over with them....There is dirt all over their driveway and a huge mound of dirt all the way right up to and even partially on their driveway (and my car pad). I still can't figure out why the technicians thought it would be ok to do that without clearing it with me first. They insist there will be no damage to the driveway and the rain will clean everything up. I hope so!

I had water dripping from my ceiling underneath my upstairs shower that had been recently remodeled. I called ARS because they had (much deserved) great ratings on google. Jake Z. came out first thing in the morning on a weekend and carefully explained everything he was doing to increase my understanding of the issue. My leak was a very confusing one, as the pipe system on my new shower was intact and fully functional, but the leak only occurred when the shower was on. He used his expert knowledge of plumbing to rule out every potential leak, eventually finding the culprit- a crack in the new shower basin. Jake stayed with me when the original shower company came to inspect the basin. He is a very personable individual who is well learned in his practice. Although I hope I never have plumbing issues again, I take comfort that I know an honest and expert who can help me out should any issues arise in the future.

I had a sump pump problem with water pooling around the corner of the house and water coming in through the basement walls. The technician, John Millburn, assessed the problem within a matter of minutes. A previous repair job done by Atlas Butler back in April was not completed correctly. After further inspection, we found out that the line had deteriorated because of the tree roots and a broken pipe in plain sight that should have been found by Atlas Butler when they made the repair. ARS/Rescue Rooter have us on their schedule to make all the necessary repairs, and at a very reasonable price with their 12 month interest free financing. I have to say that the technician, John Milburn was not only courteous, careful about wearing shoe covers in the house, but extremely professional and explained everything in plain English. Thank you so much John for the help today, and this coming week! A very happy customer!
Cornell Smith (who is not in the list of specialists) was outstanding. I originally needed a leaking pipe replaced but ended up needing to replace my Hot Water Heater instead. Cornell Smith was very professional and extremely courteous! Justin M. came out, accessed the problem and had the repair going in minutes. He was friendly, knowledgable, helpful and taught us how to hopefully avoid further issues. We have a tree that is growing right next to the sewer line so our real issue is getting the tree removed. However, he's been able to help get us through until that is possible. We greatly appreciate his time and skill! This is why we have professionals - because we clearly had no idea what we were doing. Save yourself time and money, don't buy the root killer stuff thinking it's going to be a 100% fix - it's not. Call in a professional to help you, we are more than happy we did! claims to be 24/7 emergency, when we call for an emergency they can't do because it may take to long to repair. I had a gas pipe leak and the temp is going to be below 30 and we have an disabled person in the house and all they can say is we can't get to you for 3 days. 24 / 7 emergency , i don't think so. Waaay too expensive!! Had a clogged drain, stated price was $420. Thought it was a bit much, but needed it done. When the tech was done he said it was $420. PER HOUR ?. We settled on $600. but most other companies will do it for less than half of that. Will not be recommending ASR.

Previous experience were good. Most recent however could not get anyone to show up. After 24hrs of being told We'll have someone there in a couple hours called another company. That company was _done_ in a few hours.
They were very polite and explained things well!
2 guys came from ars rescue rooter to fix my drain and after charging me $500 to run the cable, they couldn’t fix the problem. They then told me the problem was in the backyard. That I needed to demolish my deck so that they can excavate and fix the pipes which was going to cost me over $7000.I called discount drains for second opinion and they run the cable and in less than an hour dug out some roots, tampons, paper towels and the problem was solved for less than $300.Ars rescue rooter is a FRAUD, taking advantage of innocent people by recommending what you don’t need for high charges. Though a young man, Evan B is like a seasoned professional in his attention to the job he did for us. He was thorough, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. We have always used Rescue Rooter because their technicians are always trustworthy and well-trained, and we will again.
The Work I had done was extensive and planned -- a completely new sanitary drain inside the basement slab, replacing several feet of 50-year-old cast iron pipe that was severely channeled and scaled internally (which caused blockages fairly frequently). We expected this to be a three day job, with the possibility of having to move a water heater and potential other concerns regarding interior walls in the basement.Alex and Conner showed up on time, and completed the job in by 11am on the second day -- so in half the time expected. They found a way around the water heater AND did not have any issues with the interior walls. The poured concrete looks just fine (it's a basement, so it's not perfect but it doesn't need to be), and we've already tested out the new drain a few times with no issues.On top of all this, because the furnace did have to be moved and was over 15 years old, we decided to replace it, too. We happen to already have a maintenance contract with Columbus/Worthington Air... and ARS has a business partnership with them, so they managed and scheduled all of that too.

I agree with the price gauging. The first rep who was sent to me told me he only snakes the drain he doesn’t clean anything up and that’s all I get for $374.50. I sent him away. I called he company, you get a camera and a snake for $374.50 and free visits for a year if your problem reoccurs in that year.Well second rep came to my home, no call ahead again. This rep was here for over an hour and then tells me that he physically can’t get the bigger snake into my basement. I have double doors leading to my basement and only 3 steps to get down. But, because he couldn’t get it down there because it was too heavy and no other reps were available to come assist him, my only option was paying close to $700 for him to stick a hose in my drain. I am going to look elsewhere. This company needs to be investigated for sever price gauging. I can only imagine what the elderly are being tricked into.

Had a plumbing emergency this past weekend that involved sewage. When the first plumber broke their repeated promises of coming out that day, I called ARS. The number I called turned out to be a national number. They said someone would come out Saturday night. Today is Tuesday, I still haven't heard from them. I see lots of 5 star reviews so maybe my experience is the exception, but I'll never use or recommend these guys.
Leo was exceptional and helped me through all my problems. Ars stands behind their warranty and cares about their customers. I have been a customer for over 5 years and will never return to roto rooter who overcharges and does not stand behind their work.

took an afternoon off from work to get some plumbing done on my house. They gave me a window between 2:00-4:00pm and that their technician would call 1/2 hour before they were on their way. I called them at 3:38 to see if they were on their way. the first person I spoke to said that they had me scheduled for 8:00pm. The second person told me that they did have me scheduled between 2:00-4:00pm and that they were ready to call me to tell me that they would be late. The new window was between 5:00-7:00pm. Grumpily I agreed. Now at 6:48pm after I call them, they tell me that they've been trying to call me, which is odd since I've been holding my phone for the last 2 hours. Turns out they had some other telephone number on their records that I had never heard of. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING! I told them to cancel coming. If their actual plumbing matches their front office, then it will be a disaster. I want to know how much they will pay me for wasting my time waiting for them. Can I send them a bill for wasting my time?

BEWARE!! READ REVIEW!! Spoke with customer service on Monday evening and was told they would be out that evening and a tech would call 45 min before they came out. Received a call at 10:30pm from a tech who said he couldn't get to the warehouse at that time and that a tech would be out in the morning. I called this morning and was told that the soonest a Tech could come out is Thursday. I would have called another company for emergency service, but this company said they would be there. BEWARE of this company and their business practices.

Had a clog is my pipe's. Tech showed up and I told him the issue. He checked out my bathroom that had a issue with water coming from under it due to a blockage in my pipes (caused flange to come undone). He had taken a end cap off a pipe in my basment to run his snake threw. Said it was cleared and started to clean up. My fiance said that ge needed to run it threw the other end if the pipe since they both went into the main drain line. So he ran it threw. Said he thought he got the clig broken up but to be sure he woukd have to run a line in the bath tub since water was not drainung and thought it may be the real issue.Still had water backing up into my bath tub and toilet when water was ran in my kitchen sink. He got the toliet to flush correctly. Then started on the bathtub. Said the drain was clear. Came back in with the bill and we paid for the service. My fiance had gone down stairs to clean up the water and my basment was flooded. The tech didnt put the cap back on the end of the pipe. Also my drains are still not draining and are still backing up. Nothing got fixed. I asked for my money back and was told I would have to call back during office hours. They tried to send another tech out but i said no way after both wrongs i wanted my money back. Refund policy says they will make it right or refund 100% of the cost. If you didnt fix it why would I let you come back out here again. Just give me my money back. Will never use this company again.

Ival did a great job and very reasonably priced also. Years of accumulation of stuff in our drain lines were gone like magic with his jet clean. My husband was totally amazed by the amount of debris that had accumulated in our lines. We had a total clog that prevented us from using any water so we were very glad to have our drainage restored. No water!! It wasn't cold enough outside for the pipes to freeze.. I checked the breaker, still NO WATER!! So.. I called my friend Jason Norris at ARS RESCUE ROOTER. I explained to him that I didn't have any WATER.. and that I thought the water pump died. Jason arrived not long after our phone conversation... he figured out the issue and fixed it right away!! Leo worked alongside Erik to replace the sewer line in my front yard. He did much of the manual labor, following the backhoe in the excavation and during installation and clean up. He was very courteous, competent and knowledgeable.
Tommy very ably handled a basement flooding emergency. He arrived quickly in the early evening, replaced the sump pump and then brought in someone else to jet our mr clogged downspout and French drain system. He also arrange to have someone come and do a video study of my entire drainage system. I was more tha pleaded with his good work.
One of the worst customer experiences! Set up a free estimate for 9am-11am and never called! I called them to find out why they never showed and they said the left messages which never happened. No apology just said do you still need service. Not with you!

They made me apply for financing before figuring out the problem which was that the electric company hit the sewer line. Instead of cancelling our financing (as the electric company admitted fault) and billing them (as the said they pay) they billed us and now we're struck dealing with the nightmare.Also, our yard was left a wreck, my garden hose was used and left sitting in sewage when they were done. Supervisor gave me hell for asking they clean up and now we still have to deal with them billing us!Don't sign a thing until you know for sure what the problem is!

I found ARS online when searching for a company that unclogs drains. ARS had a coupon and didnt charge a late after hours fee. I called when I came home and the technician was here in less than 30 minutes. Evan was polite and professional, he said it was the shower drain and not the main line. He had it cleared and cleaned up quickly. I couldnt have ask for a better experience. Plus he wasnt pressuring me to buy drain products like the other companies. I would recommend both ARS and Evan to do work for anyone who would need a plumbing service.

Greg went above and beyond expentations. I had removed my commode to install a new floor and needless to say it wa s not cooperative. He made two separate trips to get what was needed. He was ver professional and knowledgeable and will ask specifically for him the next time I need ARS for plumbing needs. I have used this company for 12 years and will never use anyone else. The estimate for the work is also fee.

Worst experience ever out of any service i have ever gotten from anything. Sewage pipe in basement broke. Saturday night guy shows up and takes a look. says he has to contact landlord. Contacts landlord who gives him approval. Guy tells landlord:1. has been leaking for a long time. ok i would notice poo water leaking in my basement. 3 weeks ago roommate was running on the treadmill 3 feet away from the pipe while i was in the shower.2. Not a big deal can wait. yes it is a big deal if you could not use water in your house without getting poo water on your basement floor would you be ok with it.3. i have a leaking pipe going to my fish tank. the pipe he was talking about CLEARLY goes to my washer and is turned on and off when we use it and drains into a drain. on top of that is none of his business. Which resulted in my landlord forcing me to get rid of fish tank.Anyway monday rolls around and they said there will be someone here 11-12. 12:30ish guy shows up takes a look and say he will have his guys out within the hour. 2ish guy shows up says ok i know what i need and leaves. 2:45 guy comes back with another guy says they know what they need and leave. guy shows up with a different guy(5th different person at my house) and leaves. guys show back up cut down the drain leave it on my floor and leave. come back and finally put in the new pipe and remove the old one that leaked all over my basement at 8:15PM. went down today to find my washer up plugged. found the bent to hell plug to plug in which was covered in poo which was now on my hands. fixed the plug plugged it in. noticed the water hose was disconnected. went to plug it in found out they broke the connector off the back of my washer. did not tell me or anything. also found a nice big pile of poop back there. Oh and asked me to use my mop to clean up

I have never used this company's services, yet they persist in harassing me on the phone, calling me 2-3 times a day, despite my repeated requests for them to stop calling and the fact that I am on the National Do Not Call registry. This is probably the corporate office of this company, but that office's email feedback form does not work.I have contacted the National Do Not Call Registry several times on this matter and am ready to take legal action to stop the harassment. So hopefully someone from this company will see this post.I would NEVER do business with ARS Rescue Rooter simply based on this. I believe they purchased my phone number from some list somewhere (because I did use a similar company). But still, they are like a dog with a bone and won't leave you alone!!!

You can't give less than one star.....DARN!On 3/26/2015 This company sent an inexperienced plumber to unclog my drain in my laundry room. He tried to snake the whole and was unsuccessful. He claimed that it could not fully enter due to concrete. After examining the main sewer line and taking the cap off, he looked in the whole and said, The whole is fine....it's not clogged. He kept trying to sell me on other services, but my drain remained clogged. After getting a second opinion, the drain was severely clogged hence the reason for the snake not going into the drain. The tech from the alternative company also stated that when the cap was removed, the tech broke it. My system works great now due to Capital Plumbing.
We have used ARS twice and their prices are fair and their technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely continue use ARS and would highly recommend them.

This company tried charging my mother in law $800 for a bonnet seal on her main valve. Pure disgust a company that takes advantage of women or they just have such employees that aren't skilled enough but I highly doubt that's the case. Read reviews people they dont lie. We needed emergency service and i tried calling twice and it did nothing but ring. It put me on hold, told me i would be connected to the next available representative and then all it would do was ring. I will try anorher service.
