Saved my daughter and family from a disaster with a plumbing issue in their home. Also came quickly and did an excellent job. As a realtor, this is who I recommend to all my clients if they have any plumbing needs!

An under-deck gas line install supplying an outdoor kitchen was handled efficiently and professionally. Very happy with Matt R’s attention to detail and for providing excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Mark was beyond amazing at getting my garbage disposal replaced. He went above and beyond by calling my Warranty company and getting this covered as this was a second opinion service call. The first service place that my warranty sent out was useless. Mark arrived in the time frame set for me (a little early actually) and got the whold thing taken care of in about an hour. I am forever grateful for Mark and The Service People team for getting this resolved and in the future I will make sure that I ask for this company to be sent out for any of my future plumbing needs through the home warranty.

The Service People Inc were referred to us through our home warranty HSA. Matt the technician came out and assessed our issues and explained where and why the problems were coming from. He went above and beyond with tips of keeping our home in working order. Matt was quick to get to work and was respectful of our home. Unfortunately not all work was covered by our home warranty but again Matt offered some suggestions as how to work with our insurance to possibly recoup some money that was spent out of pocket.
I would definitely use The Service People again. Thanks again Matt.

We are a general contractor and we use these guys for an array of plumbing services. Matt is an excellent communicator and is very responsive. If Matt is not completing the project himself, we always know we’re in great hands regardless of who he sends because he’s got fantastic guys on the team.

Many of our projects involve coordinating multiple different contractors to complete them. This requires us to schedule our mechanical contractors for rough work/inspections and finish work/inspections, which is a disaster if we’re not working with people like Matt, who do everything they can to stay on schedule and efficiently handle any problems that may arise. Matt and his guys work side by side with anyone else we’ve got on the job and are quick to lend a hand if anyone else on site needs it. Things can frequently change over the course of a remodel and it is invaluable to work with people who can remain flexible and work with the entire team of contractors to complete the goal.

Mark was great will definitely be using this company again and asking for him if i ever need service again. He explained everything before doing it and showed me the problem as he found it out. Fixed it as well before leaving!

Matt is outstanding at what he does! He answered all of our questions and gave us options so we could choose how we wanted to proceed with repairs or replacement. We had a slab leak that had already been repaired but had started leaking again so we opted for complete replacement of our copper pipes to PEX. We also decided to have the pipes relocated to inside the walls instead of back under the concrete slab, so there was a lot of work to be done. Matt gave us a really fair price for the project and guaranteed the work for a full year. Kyle was the technician that completed this project for us and he was awesome! We had a few minor issues during the project and had to make some late night phone calls, and Matt was always available to answer questions and calm us down, he's very good at that because there's nothing that rattles his cage or ruffles his feathers! I can't say enough good things about this company, their work is outstanding and their prices are extremely fair. The Service People is now our go to for plumbing issues, and it should be yours too!

Matt met me with a very professional attitude and explained exactly what needed to be done, as well as explaining while he worked. He was far less than the other company that tried to price gouge me into more expensive repairs.

I felt he was honest and did not have any hidden costs.

Matt is pleasant to work with and stands behind his work. He installed a new shower faucet in our bathroom and replaced the drain pipe. We had issues with the faucet knob a couple of months later and Matt swung by between jobs and fixed it for us right away. Great Service!

Matt from The Service People was the third company that came to fix our gas leaks to the stove, furnace, and water heater. The first one never came back, the second company spent an entire day here and it wasn't fixed. Then I called The Service People and Matt came out and fixed everything in a very professional manner. He was very knowledgeable! I will be call them for future plumbing needs.

My water heater was at the end of its life and I needed help QUICK. We were about 1.5 weeks without hot water, during some chilly days this winter and I went through my home warranty and got The Service People.
I was antsy to get my water heater fixed/replaced and worked with them to do it asap. I mostly worked with Matt and he did the best he could with the tools he was given by my warranty and thank goodness, he was able to fit me into his busy schedule and tried to minimize our wait time.
Matt helped explain things to me the best he could and came by to fix the heater temporary. Though the temporary fix didn't last, he worked to help me get the permanent solution fairly quickly.
He was able to install our new water heater and walked me through the steps of this new water heater if it were to malfunction and what I should look for. Very helpful, very efficient.
My warranty pretty much covered all my services, but their pricing seemed competitive. Except for a couple things, I was ae to afford the entire service and that was so helpful, to save thousands for service.

I had the privilege of getting Matt assigned to my service request through my Home Shield home warranty. Matt came to fix a shotty repair (shower and toilet leak) done by the previous repairman assigned to me by Home Shield.

It's evident that Matt does the job the right way, not the fastest or easiest way. He is also nice enough to explain things.

Matt came out through my home warranty company to fix some water leak issues I had. He was very professional and actually went above and beyond what he was supposed to do to get them fixed. I've seen some bad reviews but people must understand, they can only do the work that's covered through warranty so you must read your warranty fine print. If your not willing to pay the extra of what's not covered then you cant expect them to just work for free for you. Matt fixed all my issues and didnt mind me breathing over his shoulder the whole time. He even went over some of my other plumbing I didnt include in the service report and let me know where I may eventually have issues and what I should change. Top notch if you ask me.

We've had Tony and Matt come out a few times to fix various issues with our new house. Their quotes have been lower than the competitors, and each time they've gotten the job done quickly and effectively. I've found them to be upfront and honest about the problems they see - they will offer the right solution, not the solution that would take the longest and earn them the most money. Each time we've needed them, we've managed to schedule appointments within a few days. One time we needed to order a part, and it did take several weeks longer than they estimated, and I had a hard time getting in touch with them to follow up, but once the part came in we quickly scheduled an appointment and got the work done. They are definitely our go-to plumbers in Columbus.

Initially had issues with service performed at my home in 2018, once I brought these issues up with the company owner, Matt, he took full ownership and responsibility for the issues at hand and apologized. He explained the situation and resolved the issues in a quick and efficient manner. For this reason I am changing my rating to 5 stars as I truly believe this company cares about its customers and would do anything possible to amend an unsatisfactory situation. I would gladly reach back out to them for future needs. Thank you again!

We have used The Service People for a couple years now and they have always far exceeded our expectations. They were willing to do things, (crawl around our tight crawl space), that other companies wouldn't do and have always been honest with us. We will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs and refer them to family and friends!

Our home warranty company contracted The Service People to fix our water heater. Tony came out and diagnosed that a burner assembly wasn't working, which was causing the heater not to heat. He went on vacation, and we spent a godawful four weeks waiting, contacting The Service People, being told the part wasn't there but would be by X day, waiting, contacting them, being told the part had been delayed or not shipped or no it would be there another day, waiting, rinse, repeat. Over the course of contacting them eight times, I was told seven separate dates that the part would *absolutely* be in, and three different and clashing excuses as to why it hadn't arrived (one was that the manufacturer sent the wrong part, so it had to be returned; another was that the original *correct* part had been sent to the wrong location; and the third was that the manufacturer had never run their credit card so had never shipped the part in the first place). I still have no idea what happened to the part. We would have gone to another company after the first week and a half if our warranty company had allowed it. The only bright spot in this story is that as soon as Tony got back from vacation, he worked with our warranty company to get us an entirely new water heater instead because--you guessed it-- they still didn't have the part. So, after a month of no hot water and a cumulative week's worth of lunch breaks wasted trying to figure out why, we finally can shower in comfort again. I would not recommend working with this company. I would recommend Tony as a contractor, but hire him on the side, not through The Service People.

Mark was able to quickly figure out the issue with my leaking kitchen sink. A new faucet was installed and he also installed new toilet in a very timely manner!! I definitely appreciate the service people business, and highly recommend them!!!

We had a couple of issues in a two week period and both times, Tony from The Service People came out to help us out of our jam. The first time was when water came gushing out of our recessed lighting fixture over breakfast over a weekend. By later that same Saturday afternoon, Tony came and diagnosed the issue and fixed the likely culprit: the toilet. He replaced the seal and we've had no problems since. Not even a week later, the pilot went out on our water heater and we felt really lucky Tony came out again to diagnose the problem. We got a new replacement water heater in a matter of days and are super happy with the level of service and attention that he gave us. We feel better knowing that if there's an emergency, we'll be taken care of. Thanks so much, Tony!

The Service People have been great each time we used them. Matt (the owner) has always been very responsive and provided service quickly. The work was always quality, fixed our issues, and reasonably priced. I’ve recommended them to friends and neighbors and happy to recommend them here as well.

Mark was professional and did a fantastic job on our kitchen sink. It was backed up and he unclogged it in a timely manner. He also kept me in the loop on explaining what he seen. We plan on using him in the near future for other prodjects.

Matt came to our property to assist with a main sewage line issue. We had let him know what the problem was before he arrived (day before and morning of the job). He didn’t show up with the proper tools to complete the job and stunk of alcohol. He was very smug and arrogant and talked down to my boyfriend. He was clearly there to collect his hourly pay for no work completed.

We had the Service People come to our home to fix various leaking faucets and a toilet through our home warranty. The faucets were not fixed, though the wax ring replacement for the toilet held (the only thing worth a one star rating). Plus with each service call that we had to make, because they didn't fix the initial problem properly, they over charged us on our deductible. So, in the end, we paid extra to get gypped.

Mark was great. Very happy to get him out for a second opinion after the last company was awful.

Also cleared vent stack. Matt is a Godsend. Our previous plumber had retired, and we are grateful to have found Matt at The Service People. He handles the smallest projects to complex ones with the same expertise and care. He provides accurate estimates, arrives on schedule, completes the work in a timely manner and has a well stocked truck. He left no mess upon completion. He is a master plumber capable of any job.

I would give them no stars if that was an options This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company. A previous plumber had thought there may be a slab leak and this company was assigned to find if there was a leak where it was located. They showed up 5 minuted before the end of my appointment window without the camera needed. I don't know which plumber came but he said that he didn't know they needed the camera. I explained that wasn't true as I had been clear when I scheduled the appointment. He was rude and did not look at one thing in my home. He was going to just leave but I insisted that he reschedule before leaving as I had already paid my service fee and it was Friday. He went to his van and came back and scheduled for 8-10 AM the next morning. The next morning they did not come back to my home, I called the emergency number at 10 AM and no call back. I called AHS and they said that the company had submitted paperwork the night before saying it was a slab leak and that I would need to pay 11,000 to the company to fix the leak as it was not covered. I am unclear how they could come up with a cost as they have no idea where the leak is or if there even is a leak as they never even looked at anything. Shady Shady company! Run !!! don't walk away from them.

This has been the worst service! We had to go through the home warranty company and the service people never called us I always had to call them to make an appointment they over charged me on my deductible and NEVER fixed the problems. When I called to speak with Noor she was less than professional and blamed me for everything. I would highly advise you to go with someone else. They are now refusing to complete the work and we are left with leaky faucets and wastewater that is backing up and coming through our kitchen ceiling.

I am giving this review based on the Technician Matt. He was professional, pleasant, kind and knew his skill. Thank you Matt for all that you did. It is appreciated. Not having a water heater for a week during winter is an eye opener.

The entire experience with THE SERVICE PEOPLE, LLC was fantastic from start to completion of the job. Matt was very responsive with the scheduling and Kyle the technician explained and completed the job to perfection. In a world where service calls aren't always the best experience, THE SERVICE PEOPLE, LLC were exceptional!

Their service is so bad they need to change their name. The lady working the office/answering calls is rude and has no business dealing with this industry.
Been to the house 3 times for a sewer back up involving my home warranty and they keep telling me that its the home warranty’s fault, complete BS when I have confirmation that the repair was approved and sent back them to do the repair. This has been going on since January. I highly recommend not using this company.

A friend recommended me to use The Service People to inspect my condo for leaks. The condo association was trying to charge me $400 for the water bill that was combined and divided between 4 units in the building. I thought there was no way possible for me to use that much water being to only person in my unit, doing 2-3 loads of laundry per week, I ran the dishwasher 2-3 times per week and took very short showers.

He found zero leaks in my unit, I submitted the inspection report and they reduced my bill in half. Still too much but it helped convince the condo association to get individual meters.

Great service and very reasonable price. I called them back 2 more times. Once for a toilet replacement and then a garbage disposal replacement.

This is the worst experience ever. The plumber Matt will lie to the service warranty company to get your claim denied and RIP you off your service fee and never come back. They do nothing but change their company name to trick people into using them. Please be advised.

I will never let them fix a single thing in my house ever again!! Same problem different day!! We have already paid close to $400 and that was when the problem wasn’t that bad!! Now we are flooded in every room of the house that has water in it!! Kitchen,washroom and bathroom!! Once again we have to stay in a hotel for another week because they don’t even have an opening until next Monday!! 6 on your side is my next call!!

They definitely knew what they were doing and were able to correct the plumbing of my home that the previous owner had installed. I trusted them the entire time and I'm happy with the job they have done.

Tony and son took care of my problem quickly. I was afraid they would tell me that my plumbing problem was beyond their capabilities. I was delighted that they solved the problem quickly for reasonable cost.

This is the plumbing company that you should hire. They are very professional and they will just get the job done at a fair price. They will go above and beyond what is required and also advise you on what future work will need to be done.
