The tech was friendly courteous and knowledgeable. My only complaint there is that the apprentice only did a broom clean up of the drywall dust. I had to vacuum and mop my floor. Got an estimate up front that I knew was outrageous but had already missed a day of work to meet them and we needed this work done before going out of town. Even if they marked up the material 100% I still paid a labor rate of $200 an hour for 1 tech, a young apprentice and 1 service van to do a 1 man residential job. I've been an electrician for over 33 years and spent 18 years in a service van, so I have an idea of about how much things should cost. That price was highway robbery.

Excellent service. Fast and professional.

Had an issue with a clogged line from the sump and gutters to the street. The company was quick to respond and the service tech was very knowledgeable. The price was pretty high for a 20 minute job in my opinion. But the value may be good if I don't have to have the line cleared for another 5 years or so. There were a lot of tree root mats and I was surprised at the amount of shingle granules flushed out. To date, we haven't had enough rain to evaluate the work and I'll report back if there's a problem.

Highly recommend Matt at The Service People. He was very professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind.

I had the privilege of getting Matt assigned to my service request through my Home Shield home warranty. Matt came to fix a shotty repair (shower and toilet leak) done by the previous repairman assigned to me by Home Shield.

Had the owner come out and assess the issue with my downspout and sump pump at the end of the week. The following Monday, members of his crew came out and quickly resolved all my and my wife's concerns. They are very reasonable priced, go out of their way to be helpful and informative, and were extremely professional and respectful to our home. Will definitely call again for plumbing needs.

I would highly recommend Carpenter heating and cooling. For this main reason!! I had a competitor come out and wanted to charge me $1600 or $1000 (if I got on their service plan to fix my air conditioning unit). I then called Carpenter heating and cooling and they fix my problem for $198. ** It wasn’t even the same actual issue. CHC did say that I do have an older motor that could be replaced for $415. But I should wait until it goes out. The competitor wanted me to replace the fan only for the $1600.00. Enough said!

Do as much as can diy, but know when to call in the pros, and was at that point. Asked neighbor who just had plumbing issue and they suggested roto-rooter based on many years experience. I called. They were friendly and helpful on phone and able to come same day.The tech was on time and professional. We needed new copper line soldered in a wall for our tub. He did the job neatly, quickly and showed me the work to ensure satisfaction, and importantly, no leaking in the wall. Very pleased.I also asked about hot water heater replacement, as we have a very, very old one. He was helpful with information to assist us make decisions on that as well.If I have to pay someone to do a job, which is a lot of money to me and I'm annoyed with my inability to do the task, then I have high expectations. They met those expectations, and I would definitely call them again, and refer them to others.
