Best Drain Cleaning Maintenance in Columbus OH

Update: Owner called shortly after my review to discuss his reasoning behind his practice of charging for estimates. While I still do not agree with his reasoning, I am going to update (for now) to 4 stars. Further updates may be made after our scheduled appointment tomorrow.

Not sure of other aspects of this business but 120 dollars to come out for an estimate? No thank you. Called for an estimate for a french drain and was told I'd have to pay. Doesn't seem very smart when I've now lined up 3 other contractors with just as good reviews and they're all free.

Same day service even though it was a Sunday. Received phone call advising me they would be a little late due to a previous job. Appreciated the update. Mike was the service technician and Bobby was the field supervisor. Both were very professional and got right on the job. Cost and options were discussed at the very beginning. Their knowledge and ability was appreciated. I would recommend them.

I just had some work done and everything was great! Very professional all the way around. Anthony did a great job setting everything up and Josh and Nick knocked it out of the park. Very professional and quick! Josh and Nick did great work and very personable! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing work done.

Adam was not only on time, he was 15 minutes early, and that was much appreciated!After explaining what my challenges were (leaky tub and toilet), Adam gave me a few quotes, explaining that it may not go the way he thought and would therefore need to do a few more things, which would possibly cost more.Once I initialed the estimate(s), he got right to work. I think it took him six minutes to put in top-off-the-line parts in the toilet to fix the leak, and another twenty to attack the tub leak. Once finished, he realized that the fix didn’t work in the shower/tub and he would need to shut off the water so that he could replace the cartridge in the tub element.Since this is not possible but one day a month in my building, he readily agreed to come back out on the only day the water would be shut off. I didn’t even have to call the office, wait on hold, and/or do any of that myself…Adam said he’d take care of that, and he did!I wanted to pay cash for the work done, but we somehow forgot to take care of it once the work was completed, so he is literally driving to my other house first thing in the morning to collect. He likely won’t get paid for having to do this but was still highly amenable to doing it this way, just so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced.Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, hard-working, and honest.I’ll never go to another plumbing company, so long as they keep sending me guys like Adam and Chase!

Had my sump pump replaced. They were very prompt friendly and professional! Would definitely recommend and will use them again.

Called 2 times said they would be here between 3 and 5 no show couldn't give a time simple water line to fridge 30 minute job could not show up. We called and scheduled. Been waiting for 2 days.

Matt from The Service People was the third company that came to fix our gas leaks to the stove, furnace, and water heater. The first one never came back, the second company spent an entire day here and it wasn't fixed. Then I called The Service People and Matt came out and fixed everything in a very professional manner. He was very knowledgeable! I will be call them for future plumbing needs.

Recently had them replace a water line from the curb to the home. Owner was very helpful and thorough in explaining the work needing done. Very reasonable pricing. Definitely will call them in the future for plumbing needs

I've been meaning to leave this review for over a year, but better late than never! During a huge storm here in Columbus, when we later learned that thousands of people had sump pump failure and basement flooding, ours began to flood around 11 in the evening. When we contacted Benjamin Franklin, they were at our house in less than an hour, even though it was nearly midnight by that point. The gentleman turned out to be the owner, who had been working nonstop all evening and said he'd probably continue to work until the early hours of the AM. Still he was polite and professional, and worked quickly. He showed us what had failed and explained how he was replacing/repairing things, and then, he waved his after-hours fee without us even asking.
The next day, I noticed that when the sump pump finished each cycle, there was a hissing sound, and small amount of water escaping from the seal. I called, and they were again out very quickly and fixed it for no additional charge. We've yet to need a plumber again, but we will undoubtedly be calling them when the time comes.

They are fair with the price's and are friendly

On time professional service, quickly identified the problem, clean and fast resolution. I would recommend and use this service again..

Thank goodness for Gary and Al. I had three plumbing companies take one glance at my leak in my laundry room and quote me thousands of dollars for a repair that would have torn up my flooring and be major work. Gary and Al came and poked around to find out the source of the leak (the other guys didn't try looking around) and they found a condensate line leaking and all it needed was a simple fix to stop the leaking, no tearing up my floor. I'm so thankful for Gary and Al to take the time to find the problem rather than trying to sell me on a costly replacement of piping and other items that didn't need to be replaced, not to mention major work of tearing up my floor and forcing me to have to fix tile on my own.

PS. Don't use Apex plumbing, they will lie and say your water meter is running and try to sell you on major upgrades you don't need.

I had a HVAC contractor quote an entire replacement of both the air handler and heat pump condensing unit. When I asked Carpenter H&C for an estimate, they suggested that the air handler didn't need to be replaced since it was less than 3 years old and was rated for R-410a. I went with Carpenter's quote which was about 45% lower than the first quote I received which seemed an overkill of a job, and now I have a functioning heat pump. They seem to live up to their address (Integrity Drive). Great service and I'll consider them in the future again for sure.

We had a clogged toilet. Rick came out within an hour of my call and had it fixed in about 5 minutes. very nice guy.great job.

Nate was very professional and performed a great installation!! Definitely recommend!!
