I was in need of a new hot water heater, because my old one died with water all over the basement. I looked up Angie’s list and got about 6 calls from different companies. From the time I called to get a quote over the phone, (the person, Jon I think, was very nice and asked the right questions to determine what I needed and gave me a quote over the phone, which was the final price I paid), to the time they came to my house with a new water heater was 1 hour. Bruce and Zach were awesome!! They were so friendly and professional. The removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one was quick (less than 2 hours)and we had hot water again!!! This was an excellent service to use! They were professional, reasonable, on time and explained everything! Everything worked like clockwork which was amazing! The technician messaged me to tell me when he would arrive (and he arrived as indicated on the text), he got the old water heater out and then another guy showed up and brought the new water heater in, took the old water heater out and then left. It was very well coordinated! I would totally use them again if needed.

Very happy with the service and would hire them again. The technician, Nate, was friendly, contentious, and efficient. Additionally, the price was several hundred dollars cheaper than other quotes and I got a better brand water heater with a longer warranty. I would highly recommend Water Heaters Now!

Nate was very professional and his skill set and quality of work reinforces my opinion that we need more tradesmen in lieu of baristas with college degrees. He even gave a couple troubleshooting tips for DIY maintenance that I was struggling with on a different water heater.

Hot Water Heater Now installed a new hot water heater after our hot water heater unexpectedly failed. I called HWHN at 10 am and HWHN was on site at 1 pm installing our new hot water heater. In fact the owner of HWHN came out to our home and did the complete install himself. Very prompt, professional, friendly and very reasonable.

Water Heaters Now! did a fantastic job for me. My new water heater needed to be a power vent type, so a pipe had to be run through the wall to the outside. The technician was very patient with me as I explored options with him and gave my preference of where to vent. He made that work and did beautiful plumbing work!

Decided to give a new company in the area a chance and agreed to have them complete a new water heater installation back in late June. They are based in Minnesota and had recently started an office in Columbus. They are currently a small operation here in Columbus but they mentioned they hope to expand a bit. I found them through Angies/Home Advisor after posting a job there. I had noticed a slow leak developing in my 12 year old unit and started reaching out to places. They were one of the couple businesses that responded and actually engaged with me as a customer properly through email, which I prefer.

In short, It went very well.

I sent many emails back and forth and their sales guy (John). He was courteous, detailed, and pretty upfront with everything. We spoke on phone once as he walked me through some of their policies and processes. Again, all pretty straightforward. I sent him photos of the area of our current heater, he took note of a few things they’d have to adjust to bring things up to code. I was most worried that there would be hidden fees, taxes, install cost, etc. There was NOT. All costs were quoted upfront as a single, final cost, it included any taxes, etc. Once the cost was settled I even double and triple confirmed the cost (again, paranoid from past experiences) and to be sure the sales guy John had me take more photos as he wanted to make extra sure they didn’t have to do a lot of extra work in my house. Ended up being minimal adjustments to bring the hook up to current standards so no extra fees. Their price was good, warranty good, so we were good to go.

They were fast – we settled on a SUNDAY (yes, sales guy John and I were emailing throughout the weekend and even on a Sunday) and installer was at my house Monday morning, ready to install the heater. Installer (Nathan) arrived on time and gave me details on the process. He walked me through it all slowly, mentioned how he has to start by doing some prep work and that the heater was coming via a delivery service about 15-20 minutes later. He went right to work.

Installation took about an hour and a half or so (including all prep work). At end I asked a lot of questions, as we were chatting he realized he didn’t install a rod that was part of the deal – not only did he immediately rectify and install the rod, he also added an on/off valve coming off the hot water port which we didn’t have. I was very happy as he didn’t have to do it but wanted to prove how good their service was and I was damn impressed.

Of course you should do your due diligence, talk to multiple places, see what they offer. But I 100% recommend these guys. Since the install, I’ve been keeping an eye on the tank. It’s been performing well/as expected. I have noticed something weird happening on the top of the unit near the ports, I plan to reach out to them soon about it.

I had been waiting all day for a different company to show up and inspect my leaking water heater. I called Water Heaters Now! at 5:00pm. This company talked me through my water heater issues on the phone prior to installation. I felt listened to and respected. They gave me a quote over the phone, and appeared first thing the next morning. They honored the quote and went above and beyond to replace my leaking water heater. They are top-notch. Called on Monday but Columbus manager was on vacation. I left a voicemail, and a few minutes later, John, from Minnesota, called me. Working with Water Heaters Now was an execellent experience. They replaced an old tank water heater in our new home with a tankless unit.

My first discussion was with John, who was incredibly thorough walking me through all of the things to consider when making a change like this. He was upfront, honest, and never made me feel any sales pressure. When a spot freed up a day earlier than expected, he called and got us scheduled for the next day.

Nate was responsible for the installation and was exceptional. He was on-time, incredibly courtious, and professional. He listened to my ideas about where to run a new gas line and went above and beyond to make sure the drywall repair was minimal. During a very involved install, he made sure to explain everything in detail to me. He followed up with a phonecall a week or so later to double check and make sure everything was good.

Our water heater was over 10 years old and began to leak. I called several companies to get quotes. We have been living in our home for 9 years and we knew we were on borrowed time with existing water heater, well the day finally came and after calling Water Heaters Now! I was called by Nate (sales) who took the time to hear me out on the issues and answer all my questions, we had Nate (the installer) out the very next day. Even though he had the notes from my original call, he still made sure I's were dotted and T's crossed, double checking my issues and seeing if the heater was fixable. Found Water Heaters Now through Home Advisor. They were one of the first to respond the project. I explained that we were looking for an air source/heat pump water heater for a condo unit. We scheduled a date for installation. No trip charge with installation. The installer, Jake, was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and cleaned up well after he was none.

Water Heaters Now! installed a new water heater in our home. The city inspector just signed off on the installation and said it was all done well. We originally contracted with Centerpoint Energy and they said that we would need a shorter, wider unit than the one we were replacing. This was on Friday and now Centerpoint wouldn't be able to do the installation until Monday. I called Water Heaters Now! They installed our new water heater the next day. They were able to install the taller tank which has a smaller footprint and fits much better in our utility room. They were professional and responsive and we highly recommend them!

Water heater started leaking unexpectedly. Water Heaters Now was responsive over the weekend (rare) and we were able to schedule an appointment to have it replaced first thing Monday morning. I found Water Heaters Now! (WHN!) while searching for a high grade water heater over a weekend after having contacted a couple of other suppliers. The reviews for WHN! were good so I requested an estimate from them. I was contacted by Jon on a Sunday afternoon a few hours after I submitted my request. We discussed details of the water heater for about 1.5 hrs. I was impressed by Jon's response to my questions. The other suppliers I spoke with were less knowledgeable. I felt confident about the service I would receive from WHN! and placed an order with Jon for a new professional grade water heater. It was delivered and installed the next day. Jon also made sure that all the details of my extended warranty were provided. Jake and Aidan installed the new water heater and they too impressed me with their craftsmanship and assortment of high tech tools for the job.
During the transaction, I learned a lesson from a misunderstanding about a water heater part that I expected would be different from what I had received. Nate did a great job & saved me money, too. Chimney connection for water heater was blocked so he checked the unused chimney connection for furnace and discovered it was in great condition, and used that one. Furnace opening was much larger than what the water heater used but he had the correct adapter that worked perfectly. I avoided expensive chimney repair.

They had the best price, provided the service in a timely manner. The personal doing the installation were knowledgeable and worked with me to provide the additional gas line with a minimum of damage to the finished ceiling. The project manager was responsive and spent time with me to make sure I was getting both what I wanted and needed.

Aidan arrived on time, explained the process, checked his work very thoroughly and gave me great confidence. He also gave me further instructions on the care of the new water heater. The old heater was made by Rheem also and lasted for 26 years.

Being a new home owner and having bought an old house I've had quite a few updates to make and this has to of been one of the easiest, painless & professional experiences with a company I have dealt with in a long time. We woke up to no hot water so to google we went to start a search and found Water Heaters Now! Within minutes we were able to send pictures and recieve a quote from Nate, who walked us threw the entire process and all our options. I was a little worried on if I could afford this right now and Nate was so reassuring. The next morning, right on time Aiden showed up and got right to work, very polite and explaining to me everystep. 2 hours from start to finish and we have hot water again less then 24 hours from discovering the tank was dead. After careful research I wanted a home electric heat pump water heater as the most efficient and least greenhouse gas producing option.
I called many plumbing and appliance companies and could not find any with expertise installing this kind of device.
The installation was a retrofit into a 110 year old house with a fortress limestone basement. The salesrep on the phone was well informed. He asked many questions. I sent photographs and dimensions to ensure that the old heater could be removed and the new one installed. We discussed the exit for the exhaust duct and the need for a condensate drain. I asked for a pre-install visit to check the suitability of the site. I (and the company) should have insisted on one.
An electrician installed the 240 volt circuit for the furnace room.
The crew arrived on time. The exhaust duct plan was a no-go. The condensate drain was not planned. The owner, a really nice and knowledgeable guy, promptly came over and we worked out good alternatives. However that required a condensate pump with a 110 outlet in the furnace room. I handled that issue easily enough but the condensate pump was a small add on.
The system works great. Two tons less of greenhouse gasses per year. Large tax credits, rebates offset a substantial part of the higher equipment cost. Utility savings will be ~$450 per year.
Bottom line. This is a very good company. However, this is a different kind of appliance than a tradition water heater. Insist on an on-site pre-installation visit before committing to an installation.

Aiden showed up on time. Very professional. He took care of business. Answered all my questions. He cleaned up completely. I give him the highest marks and would call them again in the future if I need plumbing services in the future.

From the time of calling them to when the water was replaced and the guy was walking out to the truck… 3 hours total turn around. That is very fast response. Good workmanship and kept everything clean and neat. Highly recommend them!
