Best Water Filtration in Colorado Springs CO

Called about my leaking water heater. The plumber showed up exactly at the scheduled time. Every question I asked was answered with plenty of detail (I was curious about the trade-offs of tankless and electric water-heaters). The plumber was punctual, polite, patient, and obviously passionate about his work. He performed above and beyond, not just replacing the water heater, but making changes for robustness and convenience (the gas line valve was tucked back in a corner behind the water heater, and he moved it out so it could actually be reached, as well as a few other small changes to fix cramped valve placements), and also gave me advice about changes I need to make to my carbon monoxide detector placement in order to pass inspection. Although appearance isn't a priority, I have to say that I am pleased with the way the work looks visually, too. It looks clean and professional; leaps beyond the way it looked before.

As somebody who works for a small company, I always try to gravitate toward small local businesses for my needs. Sometimes you get burned by lazy amateurs, but it's worth it to find local driven professionals who take serious pride in their work.

I had an old sump pump that started smelling really badly on a Saturday afternoon. After waiting 7+ hours for maintenance through my property management, I started calling around. Not one big name 24 hour plumber was available asap, some didn't even answer their phone. Mark texted me back after missing my call. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in walking me through the steps to help diagnose the problem, so he could get it taken care of in a timely manner for me. He showed up at 115am! Aubrey was very professional and able to get me on the schedule the same day. Josh and Travis arrived an hour ahead of our scheduled time frame, but waited for me to return home from an errand. They gave me a quote and after some discussion with the office was reduced. I was surprised that they didn't have the material, especially since I had told the office the materials I wanted to used for the replacement. I specifically asked for copper pipe and was disappointed when they returned from picking up the supplies with pex, especially given the higher price they charged. That, and siting the quality of their work of above others.I waited almost 1 hour for them to return with the materials, but the job itself was done in less than 10 minutes. The invoice was vague and didn't detail the service or materials used. Overall, I was satisfied that they showed up on short notice and got the job done.

Called Olson to repair hot water heater on Friday. Sent out tech Friday, after 2 hours determined the control was bad, also that there should have been a sediment trap and told me he'd return on Saturday. Tech called me from local parts store to get serial and model number, once gave it to him he said he could not do the repair because it was under warranty under a different vender and we would not be charged for Fridays visit. We decided to forget the warranty and have Olson install a new one, they said they would install it Tuesday. Tuesday was installation day, billing was as follows $1299 for water heater, $240 expansion tank, $65 valves, $24 tees, then labor charges 2 hours for the Friday (overtime rate), the 1 1/2 hour for Saturdays 15 minute phone call (overtime rate), 1 hour reg rate for Tuesday GRAND TOTAL $2372.06 for A 40 gal hot water heater. Something just doesn't ADD up. Plus tech did not install the highly recommended sediment trap.

They did a great job installing my AC. Still had to get a second opinion as they wanted to charge me $1000 to install a sub panel but I had someone else come who told me I didn't need one. They then removed the $1000 charge for the sub panel, meaning it wasn't needed in the first place.

Besides that, everyone was very friendly, responsive, and fast. They also did a great job of setting expectations and communicating.

While there might be a chance that the electrician would have come out and said I didn't need the sub panel, I just can't help thinking about if I hadn't got a second opinion on the electrical.

Don't be afraid to pit HVAC companies against each other. Competition breeds better prices. I just wish I didn't have to do that to get the best/most accurate price.

Today was my first experience with FlowRight. Eric and Damian came out (separately) from the Pueblo office to my home to replace my Evaporative Cooler pump and fix leaks I had in my sprinkler heads. Both were very professional and answered all the questions I had; showing off their expertise. I was very pleased with their demeanor and work ethic. I would use FlowRIght again, especially if I get Eric and Damian again!

I had a major drain pipe repair in my sewer line. Logan and his team did a fantastic job. They were friendly and explained the process all the way through. I would highly recommend this company for your your needs.

Stay away from “Affordable” plumbing in Colorado Springs if you need a new water heater. They just charged my 70+ year old parents $3000 to replace theirs. They refused to give them a price breakdown or an itemized receipt. General manager Brahn Shinkle has refused to respond to voicemail or email after another manager gave my sister the runaround on the phone about this ridiculous price gouging.

Very responsive with scheduling. We were able to change our appointment for the same afternoon.Dispatcher verified I was aware of the $69 service call cost. I didn't think anything of it since we planned to have our dishwasher installed by them. I didn't think to ask the cost, my mistake. Technician quoted us $615 to install a dishwasher...more than we even paid for dishwasher! We ended up paying the service call cost and now are waiting patiently for Lowe's to schedule an install for $139.Recommend them if you need quick emergency service and can't find anyone else to respond but definitely verify approximate costs before having them come out. Technician was very professional.
