He even checked all the toilet parts before installing to ensure they were not cracked (I purchased the toilet separately from Home Depot). I couldn't be happier! Similar to previous reviews, our water heater needed replacement and after buying a new one at Home Depot, Delta Mechanical sent over Lee to install it. Lee was very prompt, very courteous, and didn't blink when he saw that the truck wouldn't fit up our long, steep driveway - he just carefully carted the new heater up, along with all his gear. He worked diligently and didn't mind me spectating as he worked, and when I pestered him with questions he'd take the time to explain everything he was doing, along with tips for maintenance. Long story short, Lee busted his a** and did a helluva job. Two thumbs way up.

After the typical water heater failure on the first day of a long holiday weekend, we went to buy a new Rheem water heater through Home Depot. Upon seeing signage in the store stating that calls before noon qualified for same day delivery and installation we gave it a shot, though it was 10 minutes until twelve on a Saturday. Much to my surprise, they answered and set us up for an appointment between 2p and 5p with Delta Mechanical in Colorado Springs. I am extremely satisfied with the installation and service. Andrew provided excellent and personable customer service, showed up and finished in a timely fashion, took time to explain the install and maintenance recommendations, and helped us get through the process, even saving us some unforeseen, extra expense along the way. I got a quote from Delta to replace my hot water heater, but decided to do it myself. I was at Home Depot loading up the water heater i had chosen, when Andrew, one of Delta's techs asked me if I needed some help. I definitely did need some help. He got me straightened out with all the fittings and equipment I needed. I'm sure he saved me at least 3 trips back to Home Depot. Thank you Andrew for all your advice, direction, and help. As many below, we had two new 50 gallon water heaters installed thru Home Depot via Delta Mechanical and Andrew. Inspected and replaced in one day! In fact Andrew replaced both, in the basement, in less than 2 hours! Very meticulous, friendly, neat and tidy - it was painless from the start. Very highly recommended.

We woke up to no hot water on Thursday morning. So we went in to Home Depot that evening and purchased a new one. They scheduled a tech from Delta Mechanical to come out on Friday.

The time window when the technician was supposed to come came and went without any word. Called Home Depot, called the company and after much anguish they told us they were sending a new tech.

There was a miscommunication and the tech wasn't told about the install until 6:30 pm. However, he showed up all the way from Canyon City. Once there he took a look at the hot water heater and realized they sold us the wrong one. Instead of telling us we were out of luck for another day he took the time to make the calls and then drove to Home Depot to try and make it right.

He came back gave us a few options and made sure we understood everything that it would entail. We opted for another day of waiting so that he didn't have to come back and be working well in to midnight.

He showed up promptly this morning and installed the new tank.

I'm beyond thrilled with Andrew Coleman. He took a situation that could have potentially gotten even worse and managed to save it. Home Depot and even the Delta Mechanical to a certain degree did nothing to try and save the situation but Andrew Coleman went above and beyond.

I would recommend him to anyone needing work done. He's very professional and understands customer service.

Woke up this morning to find out the water heater was leaking! I looked and called around because I already knew the price was going to be high as a giraffe’s neck lol! I checked Home Depot and they had a same day service option on the site. I submitted my request and they called in 15 minutes. Delta mechanical sent out Andrew, this dude is awesome! He was able to get my time slot moved up, replaced everything that needed it and get my hot water going in a hour and a few minutes.

The best thing was the price and professionalism Andrew showed. I high recommend him!

Great company to work with. Called through Home Depot for a new and larger water heater and they beat the local quotes we were getting by almost $900 in Colorado Springs. They were also able to get it installed in the same day that I called.

Our water heater gave up during the coldest time in February. Nate was very helpful and flexible with his schedule. He told me that the pipe wasn't up to standard. He came back to fix the pipe with Jordan both technicians were extremely knowledgeable and did an awesome job.

Chris and Andrew just replaced our water heater. It was an excellent experience. They were both very thorough and professional. They encountered an issue with the old venting. The issue was corrected. Great follow through. The install was very clean. It looks and works great. I would call them again in a heartbeat.

I would give them no stars if it would let me. My water heater was well above the normal priced expectations. They put it in and it didn't work at first they came out and fixed it but several days later. It failed the inspection for the vent they called me and said they would come fix it amd the inspection would expire soon. They said I might as well let them fix it since I already paid for it. I paid them $3,045, for the water heater and installation. They set up to come out on a Saturday called me that morning and said they were coming but would need an additional $660 on top of what I already paid them. I told them I didn't have the money and was told it would cost me anything. They said they would call their supervisor and call me back, but would probably still be coming out. So I waited around all day. I called three times to see if they were coming they never called me back. I called the other day and they keep hanging up on me. My inspection will expire soon. I even tried emailing them no response what so ever. I am unsure what to do about the inspection. Well they finally came back out and fixed it. It should be passing inspection now. I will change my review now to a three because Jordan and Adam did a great job making sure everything was fixed and home depot even covered the cost of fixing it. So happy that I contracted them through the home depot.

As a business, Delta Mechanical is second to none. The level of professionalism is why Home Depot uses them as their same-day installers. I've used them before, have always been pleased with their work and will use them again. I can't help but mention a particular service technician, Andrew Coleman. His level of service and attention to customer satisfaction are way, WAY above and beyond anything I've seen before, not only as it relates to my plumbing emergency (ruptured water heater), but any other service field I can think of. We used them for a recent water heater install. Andrew was awesome, and we would certainly recommend. He updated us throughout the process, offered suggestions, and then showed me how to maintain the unit. I would certainly use them again. I would give the install 5 stars, the only issue we had was we ordered the water heater over the phone, and ended up getting the wrong one (we need power vent), the sales folks could have done a better job insuring we were purchasing the correct model for our replacement.

I needed a new Hot Water Heater and was new to Colorado Springs. Not knowing anyone with the skill-set required, I decided to contact Home Depot. Within the hour a representative from Home Depot called and after a short communication process told me the installation could be done the next day. What a relief. When the service Technician Andrew arrived I knew immediately that the installation would go smoothly. His level of confidence was commensurate with his experience. Andrew was very knowageable did a wonderful job and explained what he was doing he was great but the company needs to let people know if the teck is running behind I called and the lady said she was unable to get him on the phone so he must be on the way so I had no idea when he would be here so they need to have a better way to let custermer know whats going on

Had a new water heater installed Nov. 2nd by Chris Bentley with Delta and he did an excellent job. He arrived on time and was pleasant and informative. After finishing, he explained everything about the heater and cleaned up just great. Would recommend Chris without hesitation.

I recently had my kitchen completely remodeled and used home depot’s service provider, delta mechanical, to handle the plumbing aspects of the remodel. I have to mention a particular technician, Andrew Coleman. In my experience, tradesmen are reliably inconsistent in both communication and work ethic, especially when a project requires a bit of coordination between contractors and scheduling. This was no issue in the least for Andrew. From the beginning, he called ahead to let me know when he would arrive, and upon his initial arrival (for the disconnect) he worked swiftly and was such a great personality to have in my home. He even took care of a few other small unrelated tasks i had been meaning to do without hesitation - or cost. Once the new countertops were in place, he quickly returned to install the new sink, faucet, disposal, r/o system, dishwasher, and even our range. Such a positive experience! Most people dont hesitate to leave a negative review, but i felt it only proper to take some time to applaud delta mechanical and their service tech Andrew, after such a flawless and fun home improvement project. Trying to get my questions answered on the phone, Rudy was not very helpful, seemed very quick to get me off the phone, didnt listen to what I was trying to say, plus when they just hang up when THEY are done talking has always gotten on my nerves. When customer support starts out that way, I will never use you for any kind of service for any of my properties.

Sorry to see the one star reviews from several people looking for a water heater. My experience was totally the opposite. The time was around noon. I went to Home Depot site looking into a new water heater. It was 2 minutes after I put in an installation estimate request that I got a call from Delta. They gave me an accurate estimate on the spot. By 3pm Jordon arrived with new Rheem water heater. By 4pm he was done. Very professional and polite all the way. As a side note. Earlier I had another large company come to my home for a hot water healer estimate. Their estimate was $1200 higher for a heater with 3 yrs less on the guarantee
and 1 year less on labor warranty.

I had dealt with this company for almost 2 weeks on my Home Depot water heater install. Had installed on a Thursday because old one was leaking. Everything seemed fine. Friday I planned to leave town and while in my basement I heard a faint alarm. It was the water alarm installed in the new drip pan that wasn’t hooked into the drain line. It was barely auditable. well, the heater was leaking from the pressure valve onto my floor. Was barely making it into the drip pan. Called, got an appointment for Monday AFTERNOON! Well the tech was 2 hours out by 2 in a rural area. I have things to do so I got rescheduled to Tuesday am. Tech came out, installed a new pressure regulator on the line (left old leaking one on) and installed a expansion tank and strapped down the pressure valve line. Well, the good news is the alarm works now. Bad news is that I have a leaking old pressure regulator and the tank is still leaking quite a bit. Called to have someone out and was told 10am. Well, at 11 am I called and was told window is 10-2.... On a leaking water heater? There is no prioritization of emergencies or leaking installs over anyone else. Also, old pressure regulator valve was not removed. Half a$$ work. Asked for a manager twice without a return call. Finally the third time was through the inspection manager and I received a call. I doubt they care so Im not sure the annoyance of speaking to anyone with matter. I would never use this company or Home Depot install services again on these types of items. Lesson learned.
EDIT: Christmas day: old pressure regulator burst. Because this poor excuse for a plumber didn’t remove the old one, I now have a huge plumbing bill... On Christmas and water everywhere (also because he didnt actually hook up the water pan to a pipe that drains.)

We just relocated to Colorado Springs, CO and bought a new home. We weren't satisfied with the little toilets aka kindergarten toilets, so we decided to go to Home Depot and buy new toilets. We needed installation so Home Depot provided that for us. They sent Delta Mechanical our contact information and within 30 mins we got a call from Delta Mechanical to schedule a service call.
On the day of installation we met Andrew Coleman one of their service technicians. We had 3 new toilets for him to install and the 3 old ones to put in the garage. He worked alone and was able to handle the work load.
My husband and I have never met a more friendly, professional, hardworking individual. Andrew Coleman did a fantastic job from start to finish!!! We HIGHLY recommend calling Delta Mechanical for any plumbing work needed. We will surely be calling them again if we ever need a plumber.
On a scale from 1-10 with 10 being great, we rate Andrew a 20. He was that good!

HORRIBLE Service. I wanted my hot water heater replaced after my current one failed. Their website says same day service but they could not honor that promise. I clearly described the issue to the rep that booked the appointment but when the tech showed up he was highly confused. He looked around for a couple of minutes and said he couldn't do the job. I received a call from another phone rep to explain that they couldn't do the job but knew nothing of the issue. SSSOOO PISSED that I wasted my time with this company. I was referred to them by Home Depot so that doesn't reflect well for them!!!

Our old water heater developed a leak. I went to Home Depot and ordered a Rheem replacement. Andrew the installer was fantastic. He picked up the water heater from a Home Depot in Denver, and came over to our house in Colorado Springs (about 60 minute drive each way) to determine the work required. He explained in detail what was required to ensure the water heater was installed to the most current code. He is very knowledgeable with plumbing, ventilation and water heater installation. After installing the water heater, he modified my existing exhaust flume on the outside of the house without hesitation. I can't speak highly enough of Andrew and his skillset, and I would highly recommend him for irrigation and plumbing needs.

3/7/17-3/9/17: Had a contract thru Home Depot to have new kitchen counter tops installed in our home. As part of that contract Home Depot had Delta Mechanical arriving at our home to do the disposal and sink removal and re-installation of new sink and new disposal as part of that project. The same young man for Delta Mechanical completed both of those phases of our project. His name is Joseph Friel. Joe was polite, courteous, always on time, and very knowledgeable. At the top of his game and profession in plumbing skills. What I liked about him was his smile, and his down to earth honesty in answering all of our plumbing questions and how to care for our products. I also loved the fact that he was a Veteran employed by your company. It gives me a great feeling of pride when I see Veterans employed in our City and Community, because I too am a Veteran. If you have ever been without hot water you know how stressful it can be for the whole household, no showers in the morning ,etc. I contacted home depot to purchase a new water heater at 10am and by 1PM Andrew from Delta showed up as promised the same day . Out went the old and in with the new water heater in less than 2 hours. Andrew was courteous and professional . He gave me valuable information on just how water heaters work( and how dangerous they can be if not installed properly). Andrew trained me in just a few minutes on how to use and maintain my new water heater to keep my family safe and to ensure my water heater lasts. I highly recommend Delta for any plumbing needs.

This so called plumbing company does not hold a master plumbing license in Colorado. They install water heaters for home depot without pulling permits or getting inspections through regional building department of Colorado springs. They use old gas flexes on new heaters, leave leaks from using old water flexes and natural draft venting not properly installed. This would not pass inspection.

When ever we have work done at our house it is by referral only. Unfortunately, a hot water heater decided to burst on a holiday weekend and we couldn't get hold of our plumber. We went to Home Depot to buy a water heater and the sales lady said she could get the water heater installed that day. Against our better judgement, we decided to go ahead with the installer from Home Depot.

Our installer was Andrew Coleman. He did a first rate install and the work area was cleaner when he left than when he started. Not only was his work outstanding but his knowledge is impressive and his professionalism is the best I've experienced from the plumbing industry. Nathan performed a like for like Water Heater replacement for our household. It's work I could have ultimately performed myself, but I was interested in no-hassle quick turn around on a water heater. What I needed is what I received; quick, knowledgeable, and hassle free service. The work looks good. The response was excellent. My concerns were answered. I'm not clear what more anyone could ask and so I give 5 stars. The labors costs are sobering, but this is what I chose. I do not regret that decision.

Our hot water heater broke and Lee from Delta Mechanical was our installer. He did a fantastic job at removing our 20+ year old heater and replaced it with a brand new one. He made sure the new one was up-to-date and cleaned up the mess from the old one. We appreciate the fact that he was able to do this work the same day as we called in the order. Lee was personable and overall a great guy to have do this job. He has followed up with us to make sure that it is working properly and to schedule the inspection. We were very happy to have the new hot water heater and to have such a cool dude install it!

We needed to replace our old water heater and we took our time screening through our options. We had at least 5 companies coming for estimate and multiple technicians to discuss the possibilities. One of the companies we called was Delta Mechanical, we hard about them from Home Depot representative. When Andrew showed up, we were sold, we knew we could not find better person to work with! He showed on time (which is not so obvious for some contractors), gave us all the information and options we needed, all that in very professional and friendly way. We could not be happier!!! Scheduling the work was piece of cake, with very friendly customer service representative.
Job that was performed by Andrew and Chris was spectacular. Everything very professional, fast and clean! Andrew is definitely the best specialist you will work with - communication with him is smooth and easy, he knows everything about water heaters and other repairs which lets him always look at bigger picture of everything that needs or should be done. His suggestions are great! He is even going step further with educating about maintenance and giving useful tips.
Hands down the best experience and job! After couple weeks everything still works perfect and we have no issues.

3 toilets installed.. 3 leaked...

Called ahead and showed up on time - worth 3.5 stars right there. I called the day before to have a water heater installed. Two hours after the initial call I realized I had made a mistake (asked for electric, should have specified natural gas) and called back. I figured they would show up the next day with the original request.

Chris showed up with the correct water heater, so the organization communicates well. He installed everything, no problems 5 days later. He showed me how everything works, and showed me how to extend the life of the water heater.

Hopefully I don't need plumbing help again, but if I do I will give these guys a call.

Delta Mechanical is a great company, who was able to replace my broken water heater the same day for a very competitive price. The company was incredibly helpful by providing me information on my different options and helping me make the best choice. They sent Andrew to install the water heater and remove the old one. He was amazing! Very friendly and detailed oriented. He was able to get the job done quickly, while still of the highest quality. I would definitely recommend Delta Mechanical and Andrew.

Negative stars if possible. Used them previously and had a good, though (acceptably) expensive experience. Then tried to use them again just weeks later and had a terrible experience which changed my mind thoroughly. I don't want to have anything to do with them ever again. Not going to roll the dice whether it's Jekyll or Hyde that shows up. IMO, reflects badly that home depot uses them.

They are among the more expensive but can also be the among worst. I don't suggest you waste your time with them.

Not even 24 hours after writing the review, yet another bad experience with them (This was a job that was queued before the first bad experience). 2/3 bad now. Their supervisor is my least favorite person of the company and seems even home depot can't get us to a reasonable outcome with them.

The mechanic Andrew Coleman, showed up exactly when he said he would, was friendly and informative. It was clear that he enjoyed doing his job.

Andrew installed our new water heater last week. On top of driving all the way to Pueblo to pick up the water heater we needed, his customer service and install was above and beyond! Installing the new unit in our crawl space under our house was no easy feat but it was a pleasure to work with Andrew! I will use his service for any future needs as well ad recommend him to anyone!

Andrew came to install our water heater after we spent 3 days going back and forth with other contractors. When he arrived, he told us that the job was going to require lots more work then we had anticipated. Andrew offered to do the work in the same day and restored our hot water in a matter of hours. We are very grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.

Delta Mechanical is the Installer for Home Depot Appliances. They provide a complete turn-key shopping experience. I called Home Depot and within one hour a Delta Rep called and setup the sale, delivery, install and removal of our old water heater. They even setup the required post install city inspection. What else is there to say about the perfect shopping experience!

After seeing all the praise for Andrew on line, I was pleased to discover that Andrew would be overseeing the installation of my new water heater. Andrew and Joseph did a fantastic job installing the new water heater and Andrew's expertise and skill at educating me about the system and how to properly maintain and prolong its life were very much appreciated. Andrew and Joseph were very friendly, efficient, and thorough. A couple weeks in and no issues. The pricing was fair (went through Home Depot for scheduling) though it's always painful when the install costs as much, if not a little more, than the product. Same day scheduling was smooth. Some minor confusion over timing of regional building inspection. All-in-all, an excellent experience.

Andrew Coleman came and installed our water heater on 6 July 2018. He was extremely courteous and professional in the service he provided. More significantly, Andrew noticed a clerical error in the billing statement and promptly corrected the mistake. This resulted in over $500.00 in savings for me. I appreciated the excellent service. Attempted to hire for water heater replacement. Saw an advertisement at The Home Depot for Same Day Installation if you call before noon. We called at 10:30am, talked to Oscar. He said he couldn't get us in the same day because the weekend left them slammed, said he could get us in next day between 9-11am. We agreed, they never showed nor called.

When I attempted to call the 720 number listed on their Google information, I got a mumbly hello on the other side, as if I'd accidentally called a personal line. I asked, Is this Delta Mechanical?

Yeah, hol' on, one sec... After some hushed conversation, they came back to the phone, mumbled a bit more, then hung up on me.

So I just call the 1-800-HOMEDEP number instead. No apologies, couldn't get Oscar back on the phone, and after 10 minutes of holding, I get a very abrupt, ok, we cancelled it.

Andrew Coleman did an excellent job installing a Reehm hot water heater I bought from Home Depot. He was very courteous and professional, cheerfully answering any questions I had.

Our water heater was under a Home Depot warranty. As such, Home Depot said we had to use Delta Mechanical to install the new water heater. We were charged $758 for only the install! I’ve called the company twice to get a detailed invoice and both times I was told I would be called back. It has been weeks and I haven’t been contacted. I did contact Home Depot to discuss this situation with them.

My 15-year-old water heater sprung a massive leak. After getting the water shut off, I perused replacement heaters on Home Depot's website, and had a Delta Mechanical repairman, Andrew Coleman, at my house before the end of the day. Andrew did a great job of communicating with me. He let me know that his early job had a number of code issues and that he would not arrive until the end of his scheduled service window. Once he did, he swapped out the heaters in under two hours. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and customer service!

I'm impressed! Andrew Coleman was prompt, courteous and professional. We had a blizzard last night so, I expected a call to cancel. Instead, I got a call during the allotted time saying he'd be right there. He was, and did the work quickly and properly.

They installed the water heater but in the process Brock the piping to my pressure tank teparaly fix it but now won't talk to me and now it's leaking

We had a water heater installed this past Saturday. Andrew Coleman, the installer, was very informative and knowledgeable. We had two 40 gallon heaters, with one leaking. I ordered one replacement 40 gallon which he brought with him. When he saw what we were working with, he explained several different options that were available to us. He saw the second heater was on its last leg, so he recommended we get rid of them both and install a 50 gallon to meet our needs. He immediately called home depot and located a 50 gallon. Within 45 minutes he was removing and installing the new heater. He explained the features and how to maintain the heater. We will definitely purchase from Home Depot again because of Delta and Andrew. We will be requesting Andrew for every job, and will be referring him to our friends.

I had an appointment for a toilet installation for 12/30/21 for 8-10AM - NO SHOW. They were not working on the 31st, so I scheduled another appointment for 1/3/22 between 4-6PM- Guess what? NO SHOW-NO CALL- I have had a toilet sitting in my living room for 5 days now, waiting for installation. DO NOT CALL DELTA IF YOU NEED A REAL APPOINTMENT WTH A REAL, REPUTABLE, DEPENDABLE PLUMBER.

Chris and Andrew installed a 75 Gal Gas water heater. We upgraded from a 50 Gal. Amazing professionalism. 11 on a scale of 10.

My tech Andrew Coleman had his work cut out for him on my house! I had a small utility room in my basement I wanted two 50 gallon tanks. This install required a two story chimney liner and the hole in my chimney wasn't big enough. To say the least, Andrew was nothing short of awesome!! And he was hilarious. I just had Andrew from Delta Mechanical install a new water heater. I called the Home Depot, and they said they would have someone call me to give an estimate. I was called back in under an hour. I made an appointment for the next morning. Andrew arrived and did a thorough inspection of the area for installation. He let me know of fitting that was not up to code. Andrew told me a price, and I agreed. He was quick and clean. The work looks better than the old work we had. The pipes fit and look better. Andrew took my old water heater away. He took some time to educate me on my particular water heater. He explained how to maintain it. He gave me a card and said to call with any questions. Andrew reminded me that my utility department had a current rebate on the water heater that I purchased. I would use Delta Mechanical again and specifically, would ask for Andrew.

Today I had Andrew Coleman from Delta Mechanical Colorado of Colorado Springs install a new 50 gallon Energy star Rheem gas water heater from Home Depot. Our old was 19 years old and needed replacing. Did a great job. Took out the old water heater and cleaned out the water heater closet then put down the pan the water heater sits on and hooked a pvc pipe to the pan and ran it to the drain. Everything looks better than before and was done within two hours. Also helped me register my tanks warranty. Thanks Andrew, good job.

My husband and I originally met Andrew Coleman from Delta when he installed our water heater. We knew we had a completely different kind of plumber on our hands from the moment he arrived. He was friendly, attentive, and explained clearly the task at hand.
When an emergency arose within a week after our water heater installation, we knew just who to call. We had a steady stream of water that we couldn't find that was draining into our utility closet, basement, and kitchen. Andrew took the time to search where the water started from, showing concern and kindness the entire time. We believed the problem was behind the refrigerator. Andrew found the problem and resolved it for us; only charging us for supplies, not labor. What plumber do you know has that kind of thoughtfulness and empathy?
He even connected us to a restoration company to help with the clean up. We will definitely recommend Andrew and use him again in the future.

Home Depot sent Andrew from Delta to diagnose and remedy something that several other plumbers could not figure out. Andrew Coleman is prompt, professional and he saved us some money as well. We will definitely be calling him for future plumbing needs!

Don't ever deal with Delta Mechanical. Don't ever buy a water heater from Home Depot, because they will send you to Delta for installation.

The water heater was $700. Delta Mechanical quoted me $800 for installation, including $100 for a permit and inspection, and $180 because the unit was on the second floor. When the single repairman arrived, he quoted me an additional $400. I finally settled for an additional $200, although the installer's English was so poor, I'm not sure what for. But they had me over a barrel.

The unit leaked from the beginning. Calls to Delta Mechanical went unanswered. (My unit is leaking water all over the floor) No return phone call. Home Depot has not responded. No inspection was ever done.

These people are bordering on the criminal. Don't let them into your home. And shame on Home Depot for sending these shysters to their customers.

I'm calling the BBB, and Regional Building.

We had Delta come out to replace our water heater, and after a HORRIBLE first impression, Andrew Coleman came out and completely rectified the situation. I was going to leave a 1 star review and blast this company, but Andrew completely turned things around. He completely replaced the horrible work that was previously done, explained the entire process, got us set up for inspection, and kept us informed the entire time. Andrew is amazing, and does absolutely great work!
