Best Heating Home in Colorado Springs CO

Leo's Sewer & Drain Inc. Plumber
We have had an issue with this company. They reached the water heater and left the old unit pushed over to the side underneath the house. I have called multiple times and have been assured someone would call us and come take the old heater away. No call back, no service since they have been paid in full. I dont recommend using this company at all. There are many to choose from here in Colorado Springs

One Source Home Service Plumber
🚨SCAM ALERT🚨BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS-THEY’RE TRUE!!!Do your research and always get second opinion. I’d recommend staying far way from One Source at all cause. They recently told me I needed to replace my 8 year old furnace due to a carbon monoxide leak, that was producing double the amount safe. It was a scare tactic, used to get me to buy an $8,000 furnace from them. The tech that came to the house spent a couple hours in my house selling me a furnace. He was on the phone majority of the time with his manager, whom he referred to as the engineer. I was told the original installation company sold me the wrong size furnace for my home, and my air input was not good enough. I was scared for my families health, and my animals health, so I took their word and thought they were being honest. Sat down and signed for a loan, and had an install scheduled for the next day. Later that night after I had time to process the event and talk it over with others it wasn’t adding up. The tech left my furnace in which was said to be producing unsafe levels of carbon monoxide on all night. I have 2 carbon monoxide detectors in my home that never went off. Even went and bought new ones, just incase there was an issue with the ones I owned. Much to my surprise no detector’s went off. The next morning I woke up alive, but hardly slept through the night because I was concerned for all living things in my home, and called off the install. They then offered me my install at $7,000, a $1000 less than originally quoted and paid for, but never mentioned their concerns for my safety for the supposed carbon monoxide leak I had. I called my original install company out to service my furnace for the winter, just as I’d called One Source to do. I didn’t tell them my concerns and they scheduled me for a week later, yes I spent the week uneasy, but we are alive. The tech came out of my utility room and said “everything looks great, no carbon monoxide leaks and no gas leaks, just some dirty coils that I cleaned”. I inquired further “no carbon monoxide leaks”? He again confirmed “none at all ma’am I pulled a zero read”. He then inquired “ma’am is there a reason for your shock when I mentioned that, is there something I should know”. I discussed my prior experience, and he told me “ma’am your furnace is meant to last and they last up to 25 years”. One Source are scamming people, and they could have put a single mom, in debt for 15 years without a care in the world.

Western Peak Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical Plumber
Todd came out to do work for me and it was a very professional and courteous experience. He was thorough with all my question and told me I did not need to change out a faucet when I thought I needed to. The cost was below most companies. It work out to being $63 dollars per hour which is about 1/2 half the cost of other plumbers.

From the very start I was in contact with the plumber, not the office staff. He arrived on time and he noticed I did not have a small part I needed for a bathroom faucet and said that he would stop by free of charge and finish the repair at no extra cost! Who does that anymore??? I highly recommend Western Peak Plumbing!!!

Always Plumbing & Heating, Inc Plumber
I have nothing but excellent things to say about Always Plumbing & Heating. My wife and I have been clients of theirs since 1995 and have never had any issues with their work whatsoever. They remodeled both bathrooms in our home, and do regular maintenance work on our furnace and drains. Whenever anyone asks who I would recommend for plumbing or heating work I always refer these guys because they are excellent at what they do.

Trust, when searching for someone that will address the issue at hand with integrity and thoughtfulness. That is what I have found in Smith heating. Had the pleasure of working with Karl, he heard my concerns and came up with solutions that address my concerns and will also fit my budget. Never before have I had someone come in listen, and acknowledge my concerns. I am very confident that this company is the best. They want to do what is best for their customer not selling the most expensive product or service. I recommend them highly.

Olson Plumbing & Heating Co Plumber
Our house got hit by lightning and our AC stopped working. We called Olsen as they were the ones who instilled/permitted the unit when we bought the house. The technician was a cool guy, but he charged us for 6.5 hours of labor when he was at the house a total of MAYBE 4 hours. Olsen charges from the time of dispatch, so it includes drive time. Additionally, when we went to turn the unit on (3 days later) it kicked on for about 10 seconds then lost power completely. We called the after hours number to ask if someone would come out as it was working. We were told that even though we just spent a lot of money to get our ac working, they couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be a charge as, it may not be related to what was fixed. Once my AC is working again, I will NEVER be using Olsen again.

Delta Mechanical - Colorado Springs Plumber
We had a water heater installed this past Saturday. Andrew Coleman, the installer, was very informative and knowledgeable. We had two 40 gallon heaters, with one leaking. I ordered one replacement 40 gallon which he brought with him. When he saw what we were working with, he explained several different options that were available to us. He saw the second heater was on its last leg, so he recommended we get rid of them both and install a 50 gallon to meet our needs. He immediately called home depot and located a 50 gallon. Within 45 minutes he was removing and installing the new heater. He explained the features and how to maintain the heater. We will definitely purchase from Home Depot again because of Delta and Andrew. We will be requesting Andrew for every job, and will be referring him to our friends.

Oak View Mechanical Plumber
My fiance and I bought a house June 29, 2020, in our contract we requested the HVAC be cleaned, serviced, and insured it was operational. The sellers used Oakview Mechanical to take care of the request and they paid $886 to Oakview to insure the HVAC was cleaned, serviced, and operational along with a few other odd jobs. It was summer so of course the first 2 months we did not use the furnace. Yesterday, September 8, 2020, we turned on our heater and it was NOT working.

I made a call to Oakview Mechanical this morning to see if they would come out and look at it since they signed the invoice saying it was operational not even two and a half months ago. They said they could send a service man out for $89. I mentioned that they worked on it a little over two months ago and claimed it was operational. They then went on to say they do not guarantee operation of any of the units they work on, unless you call in within 30 days.

In other words, if you hire them...they service your unit, sign off that it's operational, and 2 months later after NO use at all...tough luck. DO NOT waste your money. The customer service was rude and unprofessional. They obviously do not back the quality of their work. Oakview Mechanical guarantees their work for 30 days and anything past that you better be prepared to pay them for sub par work all over again. It honestly shocked me that the seller paid good money so we could have a operational HVAC system just for Oakview to say it was operational for 30 days. How do you claim a system is operational, clean and service it, just for it to be not operational when turned on!!!

I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. After I got off the phone with Oakview, I called WireNut and told them what was going on with our furnace (since they were the ones who installed it in 2015). They offered to send someone out and assured me that they would honor any warranties that may be in affect. The customer service was spectacular at WireNut and they obviously back the quality of their work, even 5 years later.

Don’t use this company. After having them service my property in November of 2022, it is my opinion that this company does very shady work, over-promises and under-delivers, tries to overcharge you and take advantage of you, bully you into paying the ridiculous prices, and feels just overall unethical to me. The service manager Chelsea is the only positive part…again, just my opinion based on the service they provided me and how the technician tried to take advantage of me. The tech Kevin was rude, inconsiderate, and smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke…it was nauseating. Kevin tried to charge me $858 for 48 minutes of labor (and I supplied the parts). First they tried to change me over $300 for the parts (under $20 at Lowe’s and Home Depot), so I provided them myself. Once he was done, I also noticed he mounted one of them crooked and one part that he said he replaced looked old and rusty and not like what I bought, and I asked him to leave the old one with me, and he paused and said he would, but he didn’t, so I don’t know if he actually replaced it (Chelsea later assured me he did and he just forgot to leave it). The next business day, I did talk with the service manager Chelsea Boggess and she was the only highlight of this experience. She still tried to get the full amount out of me, so I calmly explained this to her and explained my dissatisfaction, so she dropped off $100, then after a long detailed discussion, she said she would go down to $650, so I finally agreed to that because I didn’t have to time for a legal battle in the midst of moving. They absolutely overcharged me, took advantage of me, and were very unethical. I ran this by another plumbing company and was told this should have cost no more than $200-$400 at the absolute most since I provided the parts. Chelsea did send out another tech to fix what Kevin installed crooked. Chelsea seemed genuinely interested in working with me and apologized for what happened with Kevin. Anyway, in my opinion, terrible company and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a plumbing company.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Colorado Springs Plumber
No one wants to replace a sewer line, but Mr. Rooter Plumbing made our situation as painless as possible. We had a collapsed sewer line on our rental duplex and MR. Rooter's guys had it dug up and repaired in two days and our tenants couldn't have been happier. We had called other companies who didn't give clear answers, had long wait-times and without near the great customer-service as Mr. Rooter. The total price was fair, and our guys never tried to game us with additional costs. If my beloved Grandma needed a trustworthy plumbing company, I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Rooter in Colorado Springs.
