Best Water Lines in Charlotte NC

Queen City Plumbing needs to check their ethics and standard practices based on my experience with them. I had a friendly technician come out, but upon his arrival, he informed me that there was a minimum of $550 charge to work with a natural gas line, when all I was asking for was a connection of a gas grill to gas line line that was already installed and ready for connection. The fact that they did not communicate this minimum charge when I scheduled the appointment is poor practice…. I immediately called the company and spoke to a manager, who tried to tell me the cost of the job was in fact $550, however, he had no idea of what the job entailed. I sent pictures and after seeing the photos he said he would investigate why the “quote” was so high because he then realized something was wrong, but he assured me there was no minimum charge and that the technician had communicated incorrectly. I followed back up with the technician who told me that he in fact had been instructed not to do the job for any less than $550, even though he thinks the charge should be much much less… the manager finally came back to me with a shady explanation as to why the connection would in fact cost $550, which was simply a CYA explanation… bottom line, this company doesn’t appear to operate with much ethics and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We had a clogged drain issue at our home. Cassey was very patient, professional and knowledgeable in diagnosing and resolving our issue. He was very courteous and took great care to do the work as cleanly in our house as possible. We would highly recommend Cassey for all plumbing needs.

Jeremy was punctual and very friendly! He was able to assess and complete a quick fix for my tub faucet leak in a matter of moments and gave me different options for the permanent repair.

John Bird did a great job. He went above and beyond to help.

Brett and David were terrific. Our 40 Gallon Rheem gas water tank in the garage had been leaking, and water was pooling at the bottom of the tank for about 3 days. Brett and David came out within an hour or two of the call, and their work was very professionally done. I highly recommend them for their service. Work was done in one day on 12/10/2015.

I had a clogged sewer line downstream of the house and sewerage wasbacking up and beginning to surface out of the downstairs toilet drain (that toilet was removed due to works in progress)John with Roto-Rooter came out within 60 minutes of the initial call, and spent a good hour snaking the line almost all the way to the city main. The culprit was found and the drain cleared.The charge for this job was $294 ($334 minus a $40 online coupon). I did not do any surfing and price comparisons since this was an urgent job, so I really have no idea if I overpaid. None the less, I feel it was a fair price considering John's quick response and the fact that he worked diligently and finally cleared my drain. It was not an easy job, and required a good 80-90 feet of rooter line. He also had some recommendations for me to improve the plumbing of my 1970's era house should this sort of thing happen again (i.e. install an exterior two-way cleanout).Had I not had the toilet already removed, the cost would've been higher to remove and replace the toilet for access to the lines. (there was one cleanout under the house, but opening that would've spilled sewerage in the crawlspace).Roto-Rooter is not my everyday plumbing company, but I would use them again for emergency service. Fast response, competent service, and (dirty) job completed. Fair pricing but be wary of additional costs (i.e. if a toilet needs to be lifted for access), but probably not an issue if your house has modern cleanouts.Thanks!

I call IRV for both electric and plumbing. Most recent experience was electrical. A switch plate had arced leaving a bedroom and bathroom in the dark. Jose Ortez was professional, on time, helpful and corrected the problem easily. He was very helpful with other electrical questions that I had. Service is very affordable.As a realtor, I also called IRV to winterize a home that is listed for sale. Again, they were very prompt and professional. They went through a check list required for winterization. Service is very affordable.

McCoy was a great experience for a bad situation. We had a clogged sewer liner from root growth but they responded immediately and resolved the situation. Quote was spot on and they left the site cleaner than it was when the got here! Highly recommend

He was amazing! They responded quickly and were very professional and polite. It was an older house but they were able to install the new water heater and pressure control valve and our house was functional again. When the new heater arrived with a broken part he went back to the office and came back in the evening (it was Friday) to make sure we had hot water again. I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and quality of the work done and the ability to fund the repairs cannot be overstated. I really recommend them! 10 out of 5 stars!

I’ve had this issue before and it has taken plumbers longer to fix so I was thrilled when this company fixed my issue so quickly and CLEAN.

Called Chris Samarco for emergency sewer stoppages four times now. His response is always super fast and is prompt. Keeps his appointments! Always keep a jovial professional attitude. He has great expertise and knowledge and has all the professional ability and tooling to unstop your drain and locate the issues causing the problem. His locating and camera services are excellent! 11/10 would recommend again.

Couldn’t recommend Rick enough! Communicating with him was a breeze, plus he’s timely responding. He’s as cheerful as he is professional. He charged us even less than he quoted us, which was already extremely reasonable, because he finished more quickly than he expected to. Talk about honesty. Finally, he insightfully and confidently diagnosed several problems another plumber completely missed and/or misrepresented, offered a set of possible solutions, helped us pick one that would last, and executed cleanly. We are relieved we found and went with him before we locked in with the other folks. We’ll certainly call him again for future plumbing needs.
