The owner Alex was such a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and came out right away when our water heater went out. He was so thorough and professional. He took time to explain everything and walk us through our options for replacement. We had hot water again the very next day! I will definitely call him again for any of our plumbing, heating, or cooling needs and fully recommend him to anyone in need of those services.

Tony explained the process, provided an estimated bill, prior to performing any service. He stated he might have to return the next day however he was so efficient and the leak area was found quickly. He was able to dig, detect, repair and fill the hole very timely and same day! Tony was very professional and pleasant.

Had a new swamp cooler installed. Mark was fast, friendly, and offered great prices. Will definently use again.

Have done business with Custom-Air on several occasions over the past 14 years. Everything from Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing for a new home to installing a hot water heater. Their service is reasonable, always fast and they clean up after they've finished. Would highly recommend.

I called Four Star last week and asked if I could get an estimate on how much it would be to replace a flex duct heater crossover under a mobile home. The home is a 30 minute drive west of Albuquerque, so I was told they would charge me $100 for the estimate because of the drive. I agreed on the price and made an appointment for today 1/9/23. Today the technician called me and said he was getting ready to head out to do the estimate. He said the clock starts now. When I told him that there was a flat $100 charge for the estimate he told me to call the office. When I called the office, they informed me that the price is now $200. $100 for the drive and an extra $100 for an hour of labor to do the estimate, which would only require a tape measure and 5 to 10 minutes. When i questioned the additional charge, Evelyn responded by telling me that I obviously do not understand the service industry. At that point I politely canceled. Such a waste of time.

Our old swamp cooler was on its last legs and we decided to look into a replacement. I did several searches and found Albuquerque Plumbing & Heating had excellent reviews. A quick phone call and we had an appointment for an estimate. Our estimate was done quickly, and the estimator sis not get on the roof. We were recommended 2 units and went with the more expensive of the two (aerocool) which was supposed to cool our home down 5 degrees. The installed happened on 4/19/21. They were on time and got down to removing the old unit and installing the new one quickly. Several hours later we powered on and it felt nice...it was still cooler outside so I can’t vouch for the 5 degrees cooler. The next night the wind kicked up and the problems began. The noise was ridiculous...louder than the 10+ year old unit that we replaced. It sounded like sheet metal flapping in the wind and a rattling sound in the unit and into the ducts. The estimator told us this was a great unit and made no mention of loud metal noises in wind. The communication and service were very good, but the product that they highly recommended definitely is not. Review would have been 5 stars other wise

I was honestly afraid to have someone come look at my AC because I thought it would be so expensive to fix but I couldn't handle the heat wave any longer. Cody from American AC & Heat showed up within the designated time window (and gave me a call to make sure I knew exactly when to expect him within the window---really appreciate the communication). He was so kind, efficient, and taught me how the AC works and exactly what was going on with it. WIthin an hour I had working AC again for a very affordable price. I am so grateful and will be calling this company every year for regular maintenance. Thank you for saving my summer!
