When I decided that I wanted some electrical work and light fixture installations Wagner vans and trucks kept popping up around town...so, I took it as a sign and called. Best decision...Levi and Pablo are top notch at what they do and all around good humans. When obstacles arose, they took time to come up with solutions that were functional and aesthetically appealing. Very professional from the initial estimate meeting to install: prompt, responsive, and communicated when things came up that could effect the end price. And they took the time to ensure they cleaned up afterwards. I will not hesitate to call for future needs.

Technician N. did a quality temporary fix til he could get parts. He promply returned to finish the repair. They have restored my faith in repair services, with care, quality and reasonable pricing.

After dealing with a very negative home improvement experience, dealing with Wagner Mechanical was a huge relief. They were professional every step of the way: from customer service through the completion of the project. The technician, Randy, answered all my questions and did his best to make sure I wasn’t paying for anything that wasn’t necessary. He was very professional, wore gloves & a mask, was clean and respected me and my home. I was informed of everything that would be done every step of the way. I felt that he truly wanted to make sure the job was done correctly and that I was a happy customer. After this experience, I would highly recommend Wagner Mechanical.

I wouldn’t recommend their services to anyone. After our water cooler system was dead on arrival, we decided to take the plunge and upgrade to refrigerated air. They sent out a sales person to assess everything. First problem out the gates is the salesperson didn’t disclose that their finance company (Service finance) will place a lien on your home as collateral. Then when they sent out the installers, they were basically kids and no older than 23 and were pretty unprofessional. They left parts and debris on my roof, didn’t seal the ductwork properly, left a pinched water line for drainage, and the real kicker is that the roof penetration they made and supposedly sealed ended up leaking in the rain. The city inspectors wouldn’t even approve their work because of how badly they did the roof penetration. I had to have them back out to my property 2 times to remedy all these issues, which to their credit they did own up to those things. For the finance company I had to get the federal consumer financial protection bureau involved with service finance because they wouldn’t let me payoff the loan. That’s thankfully been resolved now. Needless to say after all of this, I still haven’t heard back from them on the custom filter they’re supposed to install and we will see if city code enforcement approves their work this time. I feel like a fool who’s been grifted out of $14,000. They’ve honored their work and warranty clauses so far, but I would never suggest them to anyone. This whole experience with them has been an absolute nightmare.

Robert was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and informative. He winterized my swamp cooler, turned on my furnace and answered all our questions thoroughly. I had never used Wagner before, but will definitely recommend them from now on.

Curtis Stopped By Yesterday, To Make Sure We Were Getting Everything We Needed. This Morning, Andrew And Daniel Showed Up Right At 830am And Got To Work. Jesus Was Our Electrician And They All Did A Phenomenal Job!! I'm Sad I Couldn't Mention The Other Helpers By Name, But I Think They All Deserve Some Recognition As Well! We Bought Our House Last Year And Our Furnace And Evaporative Cooler Were Both 20+ Years Old. Yikes! As Of This Moment, I'm Extremely Satisfied With Wagner!

I DO NOT recommend! Save your money and go elsewhere. My furnace was freezing over. The service tech diagnosed the problem (within about 20secs of arriving) told me the issue was the blower motor. I paid for the repair. Once the new part was installed I was immediately told that was not going to fix the problem and I would need to replace the whole system. I was then told they would NOT honor my payment for the repair towards a new system or any form of refund/credit. I was ripped off for almost 2k. I asked if they could please apply what I paid towards a new system. They would not honor my previous payment towards a new system, instead the tech sent me a more costly invoice the second time. This is shady and unreasonable. They charged me almost 2k for a repair that didn’t fix ANYTHING. So I am taking my business elsewhere to a decent, honest, and better priced/better warranty company. This was the most awful experience. I feel completely taken advantage of. Beware of Wagner. Had I known better I would have taken my business elsewhere to begin with. I hope the same doesn’t happen to other people. I also called a supervisor, I spoke to Mari. She said “Dennis was one of their better techs”. I strongly disagree. Mari also stated she would follow up with me yesterday and failed to do so. I will be looking into filing a complaint with the BBB. That service tech completely scammed me. I sought out other estimates from other companies and they were all shocked how much this company charged me for a blower motor. The tech didn’t even do a thorough check to see what was wrong with my furnace but was quick to charge me.

The team of people who came to switch my house over from evaporative cooling to refrigerated air was professional and very thorough. They were happy to answer my questions and took the time to make sure I was happy with the work they did.

Worker arrived on time and pulled the old A/C motor that was found to be inoperable 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was the wrong motor that he had been provided to install. He left with both the old motor to ensure another mix-up would not occur and the new motor that was the wrong type.

Our kitchen sink drain pipe is leaking where the pipe meets the foundation. The drain tech was able to perform a camera drain inspection and found the old cast iron pipe is collapsed. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. Wagner was very straightforward with me and didn't give me the runaround like another big name company here in Albuquerque did. That other company sure didn't show me any T ender L oving C are!

Barney and Reece were awesome! They came to do the changeover for my AC and heater, they were very friendly and took extra time to show me an issue they found. They were both so pleasant and accommodating and answered all of my questions! They also both spoke very highly of their employer which speaks volumes to the business itself. Thank you all so much!

I needed help on a Saturday with a leak. I was also dealing with a family medical emergency . Barney with Wagner was kind enough to work around when I could be home. He got the leak fixed and scheduled to come back on Monday to complete the repair. Barney and Reece came back Monday morning as promised and completed the job. They were both polite, efficient and cleaned up the area on completion. Barney did a great job of explaining what he did and pointing out valves as well as telling me how best to maintain the hot water tank etc. I appreciate the great communication and updating me on arrival times. Mike and Santiago came to do a plumbing inspection and subsequently did some work on my water heater. They were very professional and courteous. They did a great job quickly and respectfully and I would love to have them working on my home again.

Needed my evaporative cooler set up for the summer. Wagner was helpful and able to move up my service as time allowed. The technician, Michael, was professional and friendly. He worked quickly and did a great job. He even told me about a wasps nest he noticed being built right next to my front door. Kind service from all.

A timely response, during the weekdays only, to our indoor emergency plumbing leak. The water leak was channeling into an adjacent room and detected because of the carpet there getting waterlogged on Saturday. We called right away on Saturday, and placed a bucket under the leak until they arrived just before 8AM Monday morning.The water heater, which was next to where that leak was, was also flushed because we took out, years ago now their extra service plan. The expansion tank on the 6 year old water heater was noticed to need replacing, so this, along with other minor but often important things nonetheless —-some covered by our extra coverage program—-were done after the plumbing was fixed. It was done in a professional manner and the service man made sure to remind me to call asap if anything was askew again.All in all, it only took them about 2 hours. But given how much time they spent explaining things to a non professional such as myself, the actual repairs probably took less than two hours.I love learning, and to have a good service like they provided, where they explained things clearly to me, was an added bonus; not that I plan on doing any plumbing own my own, but one never knows.Besides that, in the future should something happen I’ll be better off explaining the problem on the phone or online as I see it from the standpoint of a novice. It never hurts the pros to have initial input, but once they arrive it’s time to let them do their job as well as to point out other things which they feel or know, such as it was with the expansion tank on the water heater, might be needed, or which are covered under our Wagner service plan.

Barney was a wonderful technician! He was on time, very kind, repaired the unit quickly and extremely well. He had a lot of knowledge as he said he had been in the business for many years. We will definitely call and ask for him again next time we are in need of a plumber.

I had my air conditioning system installed by Wagner in 2018. I paid a hefty amount for it, $17, 000. It did not last very long something went wrong, it did not blow cool air, just plain air either that or it shots off. So, somebody was sent to fixed it . It was in the summer and while I waited for it to get fixed they lent me a portable air conditioner. I believe the problem wasn't fixed after all because I called them 2 or 3 times more ever since the system was installed. I signed up for their membership which covers twice a year service and I am always told everything is fine. Last year the technician diagnosed the system to have a leak somewhere on the pipe on the roof so it was fixed. June 23rd the system was serviced, I was told everything is fine. Sad to say barely 2 months after I had to call them again because I came home to an 84 degrees temperature inside the house. A technician, Andrew Roman, came did not finish the job because he said it was off hours, he had to go home to his family.. I was charged $256.94 for the time he took to come and when he returns to do a leak search. He said the business is out to make money not loose money. He said he cannot guarantee that I will get an appointment this Monday because there are 4 technicians left and one of them might be leaving soon. My neighbor who was with me and incidentally also a club member made a comment to him that we were told club members are given preference. Andrew said, there are lots of you. No professionalism at all. Because he talked so much and we looked at him with disbelief on our faces he asked if there was a language problem. I can just imagine what he says to other customers.

When our AC needed routine service I called Wagner and set up an appt. When we were one day away from the service date the dispacher called me and asked if I wanted to be the first stop of the day. I said yes and sure enough the tech was there very close to the scheduled time. He was very polite and thorough, checking both the compressor and the furnace. We got a pass on all items and later that day we received a copy of the report via email. He also mentioned a prepaid schedule plan which sounded like a good value. I asked for some literature on the plan and it should be here this week. I'm pretty sure I'm going to sign up for it. I had wagner come out for a repair several years ago and was also very satisfied with the work. I would recommend them for any heating/AC work.

I cracked the tank on the toilet. The tank has been discontinued so we replaced the toilet. I might have been able to get a lower price if I had all the time in the world but I know I couldn’t have found any more responsive or professional service. We are very satisfied

James Shook came and cleaned out a slow flowing drain that my efforts had failed to clear. It was an easy in and out with a long snake and the problem was resolved. James took extra effort to keep the area clean and cleaned up any mess created. Reasonable price.

Our water bill showed a HUGE jump in usage from one month to the next, so we contacted Wagner for help locating and repairing the leak. Jack came to the house that day and they were able to locate the leak within a couple of hours. It was under our driveway. They came back two days later and made the repair as professionally and effectively as possible. While they were at the house, they also found degraded angle valves under one of our sinks and replaced those very quickly, which probably headed off another service call and potential damage to the cabinetry.

Technician was right on time and very professional and polite. Let me know immediately what issues he founds and we discussed the solutions. He took quite a few photos showing the before and after of everything he did. Will definitely use Wagner again.

While Wagner tech Barney was taking care of my evaporative cooler maintenance, he also inspected my heating system and water heater. He detected an issue with the heat exchanger on my water heater that if it had gone undetected could have resulted in major damage to the water heater. He fixed the problem at the same visit. Have used Wagner Mechenical for years and highly recommend them.

Install was great guys were awesome very knowledgeable, scheduling dept not so much very confusing when scheduled, no one called to ask why Install was put on hold,front desk knew of scheduled date but not scheduling dept. Changes were made by myself of where to place items , installers were not told .I've used this company for many projects for about 15 yrs might have to rethink for future projects and I would really hate to do that i am established with this co.

James was very courteous and did an excellent job of fixing the toilet leak. Needed to replace the flapper for a Gerber toilet. FYI. To repair it correctly, you need a Gerber part. James called customer service at Gerber to get the correct part number.

I suspect my panel replacement was under bid due to the complications of aluminum wiring and vintage construction. Some contractors might have compromised the quality and completeness over cost. Not Wagner. The electrical and furnace replacement were done perfectly with very little disruption. I knew when the were coming for each step, and they did exactly what the said they would do. I’m very pleased.

We recently had Wagner install a new refrigerated air unit and furnace in our older home in ABQ. Everybody that my Wife and I interacted with through the whole process was great! They were respectful, nice, professional, and took the time to answer all of our questions. They were prompt on the day of installation and cleaned everything when they were finished. They did a great job and once again took the time to walk us around the entire house (inside and out) showing us what all they did and going over how to use the new thermostat and when to change the filters. Because of the wonderful experience with them they have gotten customers for life!

Our tankless water heater went out over the weekend and I called at 8:00 on Monday morning. Alex was here to repair it by 10:20. He cleaned the faulty part and we had hot water by 11:30.

I hired Wagner to replace the water line from the street to my house. David Lopez arrived on time to provide me with an estimate. He answered all my questions. I had received additional estimates from other vendors, but ultimately decided to hire Wagner due to their customer service and competitive prices. The line was replaced and approved by the city within 3 days once the project started and I did not have to go without water for more than an hour during that time. David and his crew member were very professional and did a great job on the dig out, replacement, and the backfill. I will definitely work Wagner in the future.

Our very old furnace and AC needed replaced so we did our research and selected Wagner for the job. The sales person also pointed out that the water heater was not installed to code and was old enough that it just made sense to replace it at the same time. The quality of the work was excellent and the technicians were professional and polite. Although we had this done during the middle of the pandemic, the technicians took precautions and we felt very safe having them in our home. They took the time to explain the systems and I know that they will stand behind their work. Top notch company!

So.Damned.Expensive. The grinder pump they replaced they marked up by 100%. They were there six hours and charged me $3200 in labor. The sameservice 4y ago cost me $3500 and this time was $6500. RIDICULOUS! Plus they completely wasted 3 days by not telling me that I had to get tank pumped out prior to their being able to look at it. Please research your potential services in advance so that when you need to repair or replace something, you’re not held over a barrel. This company takesadvantage and gouges to the best oftheir ability. I DO NOT recommend.

My sewer line was partially blocked by dozens of roots that had infiltrated the line over the years. They came out the same day that I called and scoped and cleaned the line in about 45 minutes. Everyone was fantastic, from the receptionist to the plumber; friendly, professional, skilled. I highly recommend them.

We're so happy that we chose Wagner for our mini split installation - no more climbing up on the roof for evaporative cooler maintenance, and no more dust and dirt entering the house. Their crews were timely and professional, the job was completed ahead of schedule, the lines running up the sides of the house to the roof were neatly installed, and the price was lower than expected. Pablo and the electrician crew exceeded my expectations with their great work in updating our old electric panel to provide 50 amp service to our new 3 ton, 4 head roof mounted Mitsubishi HVAC unit. Kudos to Wagner Mechanical and the entire crew!

We have always found the office staff and service technicians to be highly professional and they go the extra mile to make things happen. We recently had our HVAC system replaced and a whole house tankless water heater installed at the same time. All of installation technicians were friendly, answered questions and worked hard to please. We did not understand why the plumbers struggled to do their part of the installation, saying they lacked parts and tools to complete the work? I called the office to complain when we were told that it might take two more days before we would have hot water?? The project supervisor called back immediately and said we would have hot water before the plumbers left! This was appreciated. All in all, even though the installation was a success, I observed that safe use of ladders wasn’t followed, tools and materials were scattered about and the pvc piping was dirty, scuffed and aesthetically unpleasant in appearance. Also, the metals covers to the heating unit and compressor were just casually laid on the ground. One cover has a dent in it. Finally, the techs vehicles were disorganized and shabby looking. This is our second HVAC install with Wagner in 16 years. I give the whole install job 7 out of 10.

James and Cody were absolutely wonderful and respectful to us, extremely professional! They were able to help us the same day we called and fixed our clogs very quickly! I highly, highly recommend them both for any of your needs, we will definitely be requesting them by name if we need them again! :)

No hot water pressure. Person worked on water heater for several hrs and came to the conclusion it was not the water heater ,which was under warranty. He gave me a est for 2,500.00 to do repairs. After neighbour came over and played with the levers on the water tank I had my hot water pressure back. I did not need est. repairs for $2,500.00. What do you think!!!!

Wagner Mechanical has been terrific. The technician who checked out my very old furnace found a dangerous level of carbon monoxide leakage and recommended a new system. Our AC and water heater were old, too, and gave me a good deal on the price for all three with two large discounts. The company did most of the work today and will finish tomorrow. I’m very happy with everything and highly recommend Wagner.

Techs were timely and did a good job with the install. I understand getting professionals to do work is expensive and rightly so but I was surprised at the cost of the valve. I searched and found similar valves for a tenth of the cost. I would recommend Wagner for other jobs.

Great installation, good service. After an initial hiccup with a system fault that got lost in their internal communication, things were ironed out and fixed right away by not one, but 2 service managers that were fantastic.

Robert Tafoya from Wagner Mechanical came out to do our swith over from heat to evaporative coolers today. Robert has serviced us before on a couple of projects. As usual he was friendly and professional while doing the job. He shut down the heaters and installed the dampers. Evan coolers were cleaned and filters, floats, belts and baskets were replaced, he did an excellent job on both coolers, one is on the second story roof making quite few trips up and down the ladder to ensure everything was operating properly. Both are working great thanks to Robert and Wagner. It's a good crew.

I called to schedule an appointment, explained to the lady what was going on. She said she'd have someone come out August 8th. I then received an email saying my appointment was September 8th. So I called and a man answered saying my appointment was on October 8th! I told him I wanted to cancel altogether since no one knew the date. He apologized and scheduled me for August 8th. The tech came out, said oh, you have to call a vent company. Still charged the 97.00 to tell me that. Never again will I call them. Should have canceled when they didn't get my appointment straight.

Very uppity company. Had a somewhat odd visit from them to look at converting one of the units of my duplex to refrigerated air. The person who came by was named Jim Stuart. Had them come by to give an estimate a month or two ago and he had a bit of an attitude as soon as he saw it was an duplex. Like this company was too good to work on duplexes (guess they prefer houses), I got the feeling and my brother did as well like he was not happy at all to be there. He said they needed to replace the electrical panel due to its age (which they seemed to want to turn into one panel instead of 2) then was gone within 15 minutes and it just seemed like he wasn't interested and sent me a quick estimate that didn't really cover what we talked about. Didn't bother with them, then get a call just now to see if I wanted the work done (was a surprise to me they bothered to call back) and they send me a different estimate when I said the first estimate didn't really cover what we talked about. The new estimate went over what we talked about better but the summary of it actually said this was an apartment, not a Wagner customer!! I couldn't believe that! With that kind of uppity attitude, I don't ever want to be a Wagner customer! Would never use this company!

We had our new single inlet evaporative cooler shut down for the winter and furnace startup done this Saturday.Our technician Steve Padilla did a wonderful job. Steve was professional cordial and efficient. We are completely satisfied with the service we received from Steve.

I will not use your service again. I wasted 80.00 for the man to tell me I needed a new furnace and he couldn’t work on it cause it was too old. I know the furnace is old and needs replacing and I will replace it soon but he could have stated his info in a nicer tone instead of walking in and saying your furnace is old and you need a new one. He stated I can’t work on it because it’s over 20 yrs and we can’t find parts. I had another young man check it previously and he didn’t seem to know allot about his job but he was kind and not so blunt .I am sorry but I won’t give my business to your company in the future. We purchased our new home and it has a newer Water filtration system. The sediment filter seized up and we could not remove without causing damage to the water lines. We called Wagner's! The came out right away, Thomas was fast, friendly and no mess! Reasonable rates, we will be contacting Wagner for all future plumbing, HVAC, septic maintenance and repairs!!! Excellent service! Wagner was on the job and completed the repair within 2 hours of me placing the service call. I have used Wagner for HVAC and water heater installation as well as plumbing repairs and they always complete the job quickly and professionally.

On July 29, 2021 a technician was requested to come and adjust the valve/water level on an already replaced (the previous evening) toilet tank kit. I understood there is a $79 fee just to come out. I informed the technician that he did NOT need to replace ANY parts as they had been replaced the night before. He quoted me a price of $153.01 which I assumed was the included labor fee. The technician replaced the flapper without telling me, despite the fact I had told him no new parts were necessary. When I looked at my invoice, he had charged me $63 for the flapper!I called to question the amount on the flapper (which I did NOT authorize). The owner/manager returned my call and was EXTREMELY RUDE and would not even give me the opportunity to speak. After a heated discussion on his part, he finally agreed to credit me the $63 for the flapper. As of today, I have not seen the credit and do not anticipate he will follow through on his word!I WILL NEVER USE WAGNER AGAIN!!! BEWARE!

Absolutely horrible experience with this companies plumbing workers. I was left with backed up kitchen sink, which I couldnt use and a sewer line that apparently could not be cleared and now needs to be replaced.On top of that, one of the workers would not wear a mask inside my home, even though I asked them too. The company did reach out directly to me and apologize, promise to do better and refund the cost. Hope they keep their word and improve service in the community.

HVAC died from power outage in dead of summer and they WON'T come fix it for days. They tried to blame me for not calling sooner, even though I called as soon as possible but they're closed Sundays. Would not recommend, hire someone who cares even a little.Edit: they held it off even longer, so two stars become one.

Our 16 year old central air systems needed to be recharged or replaced.We opted to replace both of our systems, upstairs and downstairs. We had someone out that day to let us know our options, the next day they had someone out to make sure of what was needed for our specific setup. Next morning started unit 1 install. So from Wed. Morning when I first called to Fri morning starting the install. Things are completely done now, Daniel and his crew were clean, respectful, dog friendly, kid friendly. They do high quality work, and take their time to do it right. Best of all, my house is cool again!

Wager did a complete overhaul and replacement of the hot water boiler system. Rebuilt the entire distribution manifold, installed a 50 gallon hot water heater, and installed an electronic water descaler,It was a complete, professional install. Had Wagner out to give an estimate for replacing furnace, swamp cooler, and water heater. Visit was alright.Problems began after the visit. I was sent an estimate that had a single line item, with no details of the work I had discussed and no details about the new equipment. I requested a detailed written estimate, but never received it, although I did get a little more information via email.The comfort consultant's sole argument for picking Wagner is their supposed quality work. A salesperson also followed up via phone, but kept trying to get me to accept their offer, even though I had been very clear that I would be taking a couple of weeks to get several estimates and make a decision. He also kept trying to make the sale even after I had let him know I selected another company.Needless to say, I went with a different company.

I woke up to a very WARM wall and clicking sounds in the wall. The furnace is so old, the house even older. I thought maybe an electric fire had started from the furnace in the crawl space and worked its way into the wall. WAGNER got a technician here within an hour of calling! I love this company! We have used them before and they have been superior and professional. Dylan was our technician and was absolutely a pleasure to have working on our heater. There was a power surge and he replaced our transformer. I would recommend Wagner over all the rest of the competition. A+++ in my book!!!

Our water heater stopped properly heating water and our tech, Barney, showed up with an apprentice plumber to fix the problem. They showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me different options to fix it as well as recommendations for other things that might need future repair. In the end he ended up fixing everything promptly and seemed to enjoy teaching me things about the proper maintenance of our system to reduce wear and tear and avoid future problems. I’d recommend Wagner to fix water heater issues and will probably call them if we have future issues with other systems in our home.

Yesterday your technician was very professional and affable. He was very helpful, and it was clear he wanted to make sure things were done right.However, today, Mr. Wallace seemed not quite so friendly. At times he was gruff with me. When they were done, he seemed to be in a hurry to leave. I stopped him because I started my washer and it did not seem to be getting any water, (This same thing happened the first time someone came out,) At that time, he said goodbye and started to leave. I stopped him until I could be sure it would work because I was wary of his attitude. After several tries the washer did indeed get water. However, Mr. Wallace made a comment that upset me. Maybe it is just his way, but he went out to his truck while I was waiting for the cycle to stop and said he wanted to take a video when the washer started up. The way he said it made me feel as if he thought I was making things up when, in fact, I just wanted to avoid another call. I had to go out to the truck to get him and he was talking to someone on the phone, but he came in while I restarted the washing machine.In the past, I have had no problems with your tech but this last week has not been so good.

Wagner installed our HVAC system 7 years ago. In order to qualify for the 12 year warranty we had to agree to pay for their monthly service contract. Recently we needed to put a new roof on our home which made it necessary for the condenser to be removed. Our roofer was willing and able to do this work however it would have voided our warranty. So at twice the cost we contracted with Wagner to do the removal and reset. The work performed by Wagner was very unprofessional, despite clear description of the scope of work the multiple servicemen who came out were not aware and not prepared to do the job we had contracted for. They even borrowed our equipment, two of them without even asking permission. Due to lack of communication between themselves and failure to understand what they were supposed to do, our experience has been very disappointing. As of today, 10 days after finishing, we have had no response from Wagner to address our concerns (which are numerous, including but not limited to, a bent gutter, final balancing of the system and potential electrical damage done to our unit from incorrect wiring).We are obviously unhappy.

We called at 3 am because we had no heat and one thermocouple later we had heat by 10:30am. The office staff and service technician were efficient and pleasant.

I have been using the same sewer drain technician for over 15. years. They scheduled a Service visit to our house the same day I called. The service is outstanding.

Based on their professionalism and customer service skills I would happily recommend this company.Update: 1-3 starsI did receive a call and they are willing to waive the fee since they were able to review the call and hear that I was not told about the fee. She did tell me they do not work on solar so the electrical work I need can’t be performed by them. Still would have been good information to know on Monday vs Thursday. I’m on a time crunch. I truly hope the other work turns out to be high quality, I will update again once the appointment is finished.As of right now they have earned absolutely no respect from me. Monday I call and schedule several estimates for Thursday (they said the estimates are FREE as long as the decision maker is present during the inspection). Wednesday night my husband gets a call saying they will charge $90 for the estimate and if we do agree to have them do the service the money WILL NOT go towards the repairs. Denise has VERY poor customer service skills. I will update this post once I hear from the manager at 7am. My parents recommended them to me and the initial call and scheduling was a delight. This company seems to be pulling a bait and switch. I truly hope we can come to a resolution which doesn’t end up costing me money.

Tech (Carl Wallace) installed powered anode in Bradford White hot water heater. We purchased anode via Amazon. His experience in Corrales shows these fix rotten egg smell in hot water tank. Service was rapid, careful and efficient.

David was prompt and professional. Explained that my hot water heater was done for— which I had surmised from the water on my garage floor. He provided an on the spot quote with options an explained that the water heater replacement options were for an upgraded version of the best I could get at Home Depot. He was prompt for the next-day installation. Nice to have a licensed pro do this important work for my home. Not cheap, but I think I’d rather have quality. I even now have a leak alarm.

Our hot water line started leaking profusely over the weekend at the junction where it left the hot water heater and entered the wall. These guys were great, normally we can take care of our own clogged drains but this clog was just out of reach of the equipment we had and our expertise.. when the gentleman got there he was right on time and very nice and respectful. He tried to use the giant snake several times and it wouldn’t budge, so he used “an old plumbers trick” and got it on the first try! It was a stubborn clog but he got it and it didn’t cost anymore then if he would have gotten it in 15 minutes! Thanks sir! I’ll defiantly keep y’all in mind if anything happens again!

I contacted Wagner after having another company come by to give me a quote to fix my unit. The previous company added dye and found a leak. Since the cost was in the thousands for repair, I wanted to get a couple of quotes to ensure I pay a fair and reasonable, competitive rate to a company that will provide good service.The technician with Wagner was very salesy. Which was not what I was looking for. I wanted someone to come take a look at what was wrong and let me know my options and pricing. However, from the start I was told the previous technician could have used a highlighter and not dye to test for a leak and then proceeded to let me know how much it would cost to remove all the refrigerant I had in my system to replace with their refrigerant and their dye to verify that it was in fact the leak and not highlighter which would cost $1,700.Then the technician asked what the previous company quoted me and said that was too cheap and said the previous wanted to Frankenstein my unit and there is no way wagner would Frankenstein it if they were doing it because if something else broke we would have to replace everything to make it work. He then recommended replacing everything for $13k and another option was $14k. Proceeded to let me know they had financing options.Then after the supervisor arrived to bring a UV light to help determine if it was highlighter or dye, he came back in and offered a “Frankenstein” option (fixing the broken parts with another brand) after he originally said he would never recommend that or do that and that I should just buy a new unit because if I didn’t I would be in the hole thousands of dollars anyway.The visit lasted from around 1230 and it was around 4 when he left. He sat in his van for most of the time but it was still a little frustrating because I do work from home and had meetings throughout the day. It almost seemed like he was just killing time more than anything. the actual time he spent looking at the system was only about 30 minutes.I just immediately got the feeling of not being able to trust this company with the high pressure sales to basically say the previous technician was trying to screw me and pushing for a new unit. As well as the length of time spent in and out of my house but not really spending that time on the work. I felt like this was a very unprofessional service call.The supervisor, however, seemed to be very professional when he came by and like I said suddenly after he came the story changed to them being able to fix the area that was broken and not having to buy a brand new unit. It most likely is just the technician I had but needless to say I likely will not be calling Wagner back in the future.If I want high pressure sales I will go to a car lot.

The technican we had, Lucas Jimenez was great. He was on time and exceptionally professional. Our A/C unit was not able to be repaired, but he went over every possible option without sugar coating or waasting time or money for us, which I really appreciate. Wagner team was very professional. Set up appointment within 24 hrs and gave updates on estimated arrival time. They repaired the broken water line and put in a new shutoff valve. Courteous and provided helpful advice on the sprinkler system replacement.

I called Wagner late Thursday afternoon and was happy to get an appointment for the following Monday morning. The company’s scheduling process is very efficient, with confirmation/reminder emails and texts provided prior to the appointment. Technician Carl Wallace, a personable gentleman, arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed my problem as a water hammer. He replaced the toilet fill valve and problem solved! Carl patiently and thoroughly answered some additional questions I had regarding a possible shower/tub conversation and was then on his way. I’m a completely satisfied customer and will definitely call Wagner again next time.

The rep was efficient and found the problem right away. Giving a 1 star because I was charged $180 to clean a sensor that took 20 seconds. Plus $89 for the diagnostic. Extremely overpriced.

Darius and James arrived a couple of hours after I called. They identified the problem, reset a breaker, replaced a faulty GFI receptacle, double checked that everything was working as it was supposed to, and left with my system in good order. They were prompt, courteous, and very professional.

Our hot water heater quit working on Labor Day Weekend. I contacted Wagner and they had our service tech Carl at our house within an hour. Wagner did a great job replacing our old HVAC system. They are very professional, sent text updates with pictures of the person we would meet so we knew who it is when they came to the door. They had fair prices, and were on time for all scheduled appointments. They worked with me on pricing so I could get a discount from the AC manufacturer even when I was a day behind in signing. Swamp cooler setup, also had to replace the pump. The up charge on the pump is outrageously over priced. So the setup was $159 and adding the pump brought the final cost to $294. That is after I asked for some sort of a discount. It would have been closer to $400. The pump is $50 at Lowe's. Shawn was very professional and even provided photos of the unit. He also answered all my questions. Thank you Shawn! I am giving 3 stars due to price gouging of the parts, not due to service.

The installation crew really worked their butts off trying to get the new air conditioning and heating system up and going in one day. However, after working several hours to obtain that objective they were thrown a wrench into their plans as when they went to test the new system there was an issue with a bent shaft head to the blower motor assembly and they weren't able to get it running. I'm just genuinely glad that they were so thorough with their work, even if I had to wait an extra day to get it fixed so it can be ran.

We were scheduled for an appointment for tuesday and they called and said they had an opening today. So we agreed for the tech to come earlier. Cool, that was nice. But once the tech came he was hurried, and didn't want to take the time to fix the problem. We had low water pressure and all he did was remove a piece inside the faucet. My husband already did that. So the tech said that it's just a low flow faucet and that's how they are nowadays. I had told them when I made the appointment that we had a faucet we wanted changed out. When I asked the technician if he can do that he said ugh, you really want that changed? I hate doing that. So unprofessional. He just wanted to go home and the water pressure is still low. Then he left and didn't turn the water valve back on. So he left with no water. Luckily I caught up to him in the driveway. So all we got out of that was an excuse about low flow faucets, he hates changing faucets and I still paid the service fee. Not what I expected from this company.

Thomas and his assistant did an excellent job. He explained the work that needed to be done and provided an estimate. The work was completed in a timely manner. He was careful not to incur additional damage.

I called about 10 plumbers in the Albuquerque area to help me disconnect the clothes washer when the shutoff valve didn’t work. If the movers had left before tge washer was disconnected, it would have cost hundreds of dollars to get a hitch, rent a uhaul and take the washer out of state. Wagner was the only one who was able to respond to us within a short amount of time. Barney was wonderful and responded quickly and efficient. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much. The new Water heater tank had a dent and on his own, requested a water heater replacement, which was delivered in 45 minutes! Friendly and knowledgeable. There are a ton of plumbing and HVAC companies in Albuquerque. I contacted a total of 4 companies for bids and did my homework. I have no regrets, at all, in choosing Wagner. I have relied on Wagner for several years and have always been satisfied with their work. My recent service involved my thermal heat system and updating of the heat distribution manifold. My technician, Will, was knowledgeable and explained what was being done. It was a major and involved job and was completed properly and cleanly with minimal disruption.

I called Wagner to service a wall furnace gas that has been in my addition for a long time. The pilot light keeps going out but once the pilot light is on, it works fine. It looks like everything inside will have to be replaced and updated the price quote it was a little pricey, but I was willing to pay it. They were very professional on time and the work should be completed in a day or so if that time I will probably need to leave another review but so far, I am pleased.

The workers were are very friendly and took the time to show me how my new heating and cooling system works. I called less than a week ago and they already completed the job. The new system is a little louder then my previous system but I am hopeful it will keep my home cooler and be better for the environment.

They quoted me an astronomical price of over $12,000 to help fix my toilet. They said it was because it was a “special” kind of toilet that needed to be ordered LOL. He told my tenant to just keep a bucket of water next to the toilet and pour water into it if he needed it to flush. Then he left. Suffice it to say I’m getting a second opinion and will not be recommending them. I’m totally disgusted at that estimate.**Updated**After I left the review above, I was contacted by someone named Michelle (I believe) who had read my comment and had contacted the plumber to figure out what happened with my quote. She said that he had accidentally entered an extra zero. Big mistake, right? Like wow. So I asked if this was a common thing and how the company would have caught it if I didn’t bring it to their attention first. She said that there is a whole process before charging a card and that they would’ve eventually caught it. I said that I found that hard to believe since nobody contacted me and that I was the first one to call them on their mistake. She apologized and offered to let me speak to the manager. I finally got the manager to take accountability for the mistake and I agreed to continue with the order and paid half over the phone just to get it done. She set up the appointment and we ended the call. I felt reassured that this was an honest mistake and that they were ready to make things right with me as a customer. However after already setting up the appointment over the phone and contacting my renter to agree to the date (and paying half) she called back saying that the plumber still needed to order the part and that it would actually be two more weeks before they could complete the job. So this was the second call of the day from them were essentially they fixed the first problem (wrong estimate) and then created another one (needed to change appointment date). Now I had to call my rentor back to let them know that the appointment that we had originally made needed to be rescheduled for two weeks out. Then I got a third call that day from the same woman who had made my appointment asking me to change my review online. At that point I was so frustrated that I straight up told her no. All they had done was mess up every step of the way and then had the audacity to expect me to save face for them online. No. I told them that I would update my review when the job is done. As of today the job is completed and though this has been an arduous process I’m happy that the toilet is finally fixed. My renter says that the toilet is working perfectly however I don’t think that I would put up with this process again in the future. They have just left a bad taste in my mouth even though they did try to fix their mistakes.

We recently contracted Wagner to install a Mitsubishi mini-split system installed at our house (as an upgrade from an outdated and inefficient swamp cooler), and they were outstanding during each part of the process. Wagner was easy to coordinate with and were very efficient during the in-home estimate. When it came down to looking at financing options, they put in the effort and made sure we got a great deal that worked for us, and also provided us with helpful info about getting additional rebates/discounts. During the installation of the mini-splits, the team was very courteous, communicated with us during each step, and were remarkably efficient and very tidy during the actual installation work. They finished installing a 4-zone system, removing the old swamp cooler and installing the central unit, and removing old wall heaters all in one day, which was very impressive. The work was quick and efficient but done properly and I really appreciate the work they did. I highly recommend Wagner to anybody looking for upgrading their heating and/or cooling system(s) at their home.

I needed help putting a filter in my new heater. 2 very professional young men came and explained how to do it. They also let me do it hands on so that when it came time to change it I would feel confident in doing it myself. I appreciate their kindness and knowledge. Very professional.

Was able to get a next day appointment for a shower leak and a garbage disposal install. Showed up on time, friendly, did a great job, and reasonably priced. They gave us different options on how to fix the leak and were very professional.

Maybe they're great for emergencies, but was really just quoted 1500 for simple repairs and 17500 for a new unit. With the 100⁰ temps forecasted for Albuquerque this feels like the worst kind of price gouging. Will never return.

I submitted an online request Sunday afternoon, and Wagner called at 815am Monday to schedule a same-day appointment. Their communication is second to none! They kept me updated throughout the morning via text and phone calls on what time I could expect the plumbers.Barney and Reece were excellent. They took care of my plumbing issue (we couldn't get the water supply hose off the toilet and broke the fill valve in the process) professionally and efficiently, and went above and beyond by ensuring everything else was in the best possible shape it could be (toilet seat installed, tank attached tightly, etc.). They also took some extra time to get me a quote on a kitchen sink installation and answered all my questions about it. I can't recommend them enough.

We had a roof issues which caused the mini split (that was installed by Wagner) to get filled with dirt and come off the wall. This is the mini split in our 2 yo son’s room and it’s getting COLD. Wagner did not show up on the day they were supposed to - cancelled and came a week later, and then will not even be able to fix the mini split until a week after that! Our son is COLD.

I am very impressed with this company, and the plumbing technician, Steven, is exceptionally professional, courteous, skilled, and pleasant. And getting an appointment promptly was easy. My initial contact with the company was just this morning, and by 4:00 p.m., I had a brand new water heater up and running. Very pleased.

Alex was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and gave thorough answers to all our questions. His work was meticulously done.It was a big job replacing a water heater and bringing it up to code, which took him most of the day. To bring it to code, he had to replace all the pipes and the vent pipe. He placed sheet metal below the water heater, on the platform. Every thing you see in the picture, related to the water heater, is brand new. Beautiful workHe cleaned his work area when finished. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND John Calderon @ Wagner. We had been using another large/well known company for years. Our furnace was about to die days before Christmas, the other guys came out and told me it could not be repaired (a system they installed) and gave me a 12K estimate... That diagnostic visit was $300.00 and the furnace was WORSE. Needless to say I got a second opinion! John came out, made a couple of runs for parts (the other guy said we couldn't even get parts for our system anymore, 10 years old I think) and it has been running like a dream. He did come out twice, but it was literally the Friday before Christmas in the evening, so he couldn't get everything he needed that evening but he got us through Christmas with heat until he could finish the job. Super nice, on time, put all the pieces on a protective surface on the floor, respectful of our place. Just a great experience. It has been so COLD outside but cozy in the house. I told myself I had to leave a review for this guy! His service and professionalism was SO APPRECIATED!!!

Recommendation from Angie's list. They had come over to our home and assessed that we needed a new clip. They said they had to drive to abq to get the clip. They arrived back, took about 45 mins to replace the part. Then we were charged $380.00 before tax.

Excellent service from the point of making the appointment all the way through the execution of the service. The company was able to get someone out to assess the issue the same day I called. Once the issue was identified the part was ordered and put in the following day once the part arrived. Josh provided the service. He was efficient, professional and very informative. For years I used Wagner and spent thousands of dollars using them and they were awesome until we had an appointment for our water heater maintenance and they had to reschedule us twice because they had “higher priority” appointments that came up. It wasn’t a big issue at the time because we were just having our water heater maintenance. When it became an issue was when my parents refrig AC stopped working when it was 100 degrees outside and when my parents called to ask to have Wagner come out they were told they couldn’t come out for 2 weeks. This is all after my parents spent $13k for a new HVAC system that Wagner installed. The worst part is my dad was on home hospice and my mom even told Wagner that and that didn’t matter and it was still 2 weeks for them to get out to check out their AC. I understand businesses are busy, but I had my appointments rescheduled twice by Wagner due to “higher priorities” so I’m not sure how someone who is on home hospice that cannot leave their house when their AC is not working is not a high priority. For this reason, I have not used Wagner and will not use them.

It took Wagner’s three service calls and $500 to diagnose and clean a dirty flame sensor on my HVAC. The sensor took five minutes to clean. Service manager never returned any of my calls.

I had an estimator come out to evaluate some repairs for my bathtub and on another day had someone out to flush my hot water heater. In both instances the Wagner folks were friendly and knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. I will be using them for future plumbing needs.

I had a new combined Heating/Air-conditioner system installed: Carrier; easy to fix and service & parts easy to get.It involved a Crane to lift unit onto the roof. It was a 10 1/2 hr job! Building a gas line re-route plus a condensation line. Re-fitting metal venting, etc. Discovering a faulty gas part union trial of new unit; got replacement & installed that. A GF was established or changed out (?) Trouble with being on the rooftop; out of site! They did take photos which looked very neat, tidy, and well placed piping, etc. Hard to evaluate out of sight range goings on.....An electrician was involvedand supervisors came. It all seemed to run smoothly and organized manner.My main installer was very calm, professional, open to answering questions and explanations. The unit is in, up & running and seems to be working fine. Time will tell. All workers appeared to know what they were doing and seemed to be a good team.I must say: it was a great time to install a unit like this; because, the men were available, units were in fresh supply, no delivery issues and the crane was ready to roll the next day! A long, hard day for the installers; but, painless for me! Installers should know sheet metal skills and have several years of experience! Mine did.I am happy to have replaced the OLD FREEON, it is such a climate polluter! The prices were very competitive and hard to select just one good company out of 3 bids. I chose Wagner.I encourage others to replace their old FEEON Units If they are able.

Andrew did a fantastic job on checking the proper operation of our recently installed HVAC system. He was very polite and answered the questions we had. The install team and Andrew are the bright spots of Wagner.

I called Wagner on July 30th for an emergency repair on one of my AC units. The tech arrived and informed me that the compressor was bad and he would have to check with his supervisor to see if it was covered under the Carrier warranty. On the afternoon of Aug 1st, I called Wagner for an update and received no reply. On Aug 2nd the tech called me and suggested a hard start bypass which would be less expensive than replacing the compressor. I told him to proceed and get it scheduled. On Aug 3rd I called Wagner again to see if they had scheduled my repair. I received no information and they never called me again. Good thing I had an appointment with a different company on Aug 8th. The second company came out and had everything repaired within 30 minutes. It turned out to be a bad capacitor on the compressor, which the Wagner technician missed. I saved a ton of money by using a different company and will never call Wagner again.

Everything about my experience was amazing, helpful, and very convenient. I was able to schedule my consultation within 48 hours, the evaluation and quote were provided in my home, discounts were explained, and financing was approved on the spot. They were able to schedule my installation 48 hours later and we could not be more happy with the result! Dave and Curtis were particularly pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Super quick turnaround to address our clogged sink, I think the plumber was out within two hours of calling and had the drain fixed in about 30 minutes. Way faster than the competitors who I called and had me scheduled for almost two weeks out! I would absolutely call Wagner again, they were quick and professional.

Had the heater changed over to AC for the summer. Jordan was very knowledgeable and did a great job. I have always had good results with Wagner. Will be scheduling for some plumbing later on.

We throughly enjoyed working with Roger Roth; our consultant with Wagner Mechanical, as we explored installing a Ductless Mini Split System in our home.Roger was through as he walked us through the entire process including recommending their most effective and efficient brand for our situation which just happen to be easier on our finances as well.Roger even came back out the same day after we had the opportunity to chew on the proposal and then called him back to give our approval to proceed.Not only did he confirm our placement of the mini's, he throughly walked us through options for placement of the condenser including giving us the options of where the electrical lines could be placed. This was a big issue for us as we did not want the lines to be placed on the flat roof.He also verified our current electrical box was sufficient to support the system.Roger also offered 18 month financing at 0% interest which worked perfect for us.Appreciate all his expertise in helping us with this project.

We've used Wagner several times in the past and they have a great team. They may not be the cheapest in town, but they are worth the little extra you might pay (though our new water heater was within $100 of other quotes). This review is for a hot water tank installation and plumber Steven Jaramillo was professional, on time, answered all my dumb questions, kept a tidy jobsite, cleaned up when done, and respected our request to wear a mask while in the house. I definitely recommend them.

My washer standpipe was backing up, the technician James fixed it, tested it, and now it’s draining better than ever before (seriously). He also took the time to explain how to prevent this issue in future. Would definitely contact Wagner for plumbing issues in the future

After more experience with Wagner, it's time to update this review. If I could just rate the friendliness + professionalism of the techs, Wagner would get 5 stars. However, after numerous issues with my water heater + HVAC systems and trying to get them up to code for the city, I have had a number of problems with Wagner, primarily stemming from the people in the office. I feel that Wagner tries to rely on their perceived good reputation and doesn't do the actual work of listening to, communicating properly, or following up with customers. I have much more I could say about specific people but will leave it at this for now. They also sent someone out to try to convince me to replace my entire HVAC system for $15k (and it was 2 weeks before Christmas!). I have probably over paid using Wagner for the few months that I did, and now I will be moving my business somewhere else.

Jack arrived on time with his OJT partner. We needed them to make modifications to the gas line for our new dryer and adjust the placement of the dryer vent.Jack offered to do it on-the-spot and was done in less than an hour.The best part was listening Jack TEACH his young apprentice how to do the job! It was impressive to see and hear that Wagner is helping young men to learn a new trade.

All of the technicians are professional and courteous, but after 5 visits and a 6th pending, they still have not fixed my AC, and it takes them a week to return after each failed attempt. This unit was purchased from Wagner and is under warranty, but what good is it if the “warranty team” doesn’t immediately replace the unit as hundred degree temperatures are upon us. I’m almost to the point of enduring the cost to bring in another company to fix this immediately.

I contacted Wagner regarding my hot water heater and they quickly dispatched Carl Wallace. Carl was prompt and worked non-stop for two days until the project was complete. His work was excellent.I am contacting Wagner again on Monday and I will request they send Carl again to fix a problem that was left by another contractor.I will not hesitate to call upon Wagner Mechanical in the future based on my recent experience and the favorable impression left by everyone that I encountered from Wagner.

Faron Francisco was very knowledgeable and professional from the estimate to job completion. Together with Dennis they installed a 230V 50A circuit for a new hot tub and ran about 70 feet of 6 Gauge cables up and existing conduit in the attic, down another existing conduit, then installed new, matching conduit to the new breaker box and from there to the hot tub. In the process they replaced the existing outdoor Romex cable with code compliant cables and installed splice boxes under the eaves. This resulted in a very clean look. They made sure everything was working and now it is all up to code. It was all done in about 6 hours. Outstanding work!

I received an excellent service from the service guy Barney and his helper. The story is as follow:My water heater stopped working, primarily due to the burner and thermostat malfunction. I asked my old heating repair company to have a look at the unit. After the inspection they basically said that the unit is flooded due to leakage and I either need to replace the burner or the entire unit (apparently they cost about the same). After all said and done they gave me a quote of at least 1200 dollars. I decided to get a second opinion and called Wagner. They sent Barney , within one hour of my call. He was very professional and highly skilled. He diagnosed the problem to be due to the sensor. That is it. They also replaced the expansion tank. The whole thing cost me about 250 dollars. I highly recommend this company, and specially ask for Barnie, an amazing guy. Thank you for your integrity.

Installed minisplit heating / cooling system in our house. Got several quotes and theirs was the best priced one with highest rated equipment (Mitsubishi). We were on a tight deadline to complete repairs for sale of our house and they worked us in within a couple of working days. They were very efficient doing re-piping to bring a boiler up to code, replacing a expansion tank for water heater, and replacing a water shut-off valve for a sink. They seemed very knowledgeable, and got the work done within a couple of hours.

Had my water heater replaced. The tech was great but I thought it was really expensive. $3500 to install a water heater! I asked the manager to itemize the costs but he was evasive and rude. I just wanted to know where my money went and they would not explain it. I'll go somewhere else next time.

We needed a doorbell Un-installed and another installed and possibly a new doorbell transformer box. PABLO was quick and efficient and we were able to get by with the doorbell install saving us quite a bit of money. We've had this company for a year and when everything is working great and you don't have to interact with the company things are great. But we haven't had air conditioning since Saturday when our power went out and the earliest they can maybe come by to check out the problem is Thursday. That's not even a promise of them fixing it, it's just when they can look at it. We've had over 100 degree weather and it's miserable for my family including three dogs and a rabbit. We can't go anywhere else with all of them so we are all suffering until Wagner decides they can make time for us.

I had an appointment scheduled for two days from now for AC start up, but received a call from the office stating that they had a tech in the area and could perform the service today which was a a nice surprise. Reece arrived 20 minutes after the call and performed the service. He took pictures of his work to show us and “wow” we were impressed with how meticulously he cleaned our AC and replaced any needed parts.

Today, April 27, 2022 was our annual system maintenance on our A/C as well as shutting down our furnace. Ben always does such great work! Thank you!They installed a new AC back in 2019. I got lightning fast service for a heater that stopped working overnight, and the tech was great. Professional and personable, Mr. Jimenez walked me through what was wrong with my system--differentiating what must be repaired from what should be repaired/replaced. He also took the time to educate me on all the components of my system, I have an older HVAC system and getting great information from the Wagner rep helps immensely when considering a repair vs. buying a new unit. A positive experience amid the drag of contemplating on having to break my piggy-bank.

They did a great job. I have to admit some initial sticker shock for installing 2 furnaces but it seemed fair. They left some rough edges with exposed fiberglass on ductwork, but the happily fixed it when I asked them. They had the job done 24 hours after I spoke with Dave who took tome to answer all my questions. 3 different inspectors came to keep things on-point during the job. I would happily use them again.

This morning someone from Wagner was supposed to come to my house and perform a routine furnace check-up between 8am - 12pm. However, I never even received a call regarding their ETA. I called their office at noon and was told to wait for another hour (presumably during which time the serviceperson would be notified to contact me)... they never did. If they can't do the little things correctly, why should I trust them with the important stuff? Wagner, you lost a customer--I'm done with you incompetent people.

The two electricians that came out for our service call were great! Friendly, professional and efficient. They quickly identified the problems and explained to me what was going on with a few outlets that weren’t working.

Changing my review. I've had nothing but problems with the new system since last Friday. Waiting for returned phone calls and emails to get this fixed (again)Previously all service and contact has been professional, but for this much debt, it should work , especially after one major repair call already.

No heat in the house! Contacted my current vendor. They could not send anybody for one week! Contacted Wagner and they had a technician out that day before noon. John Calderon diagnose and repaired the problem. He explained the parts and labor costs in great detail. He completed repairs and tested the system fully. Thank you Wagner!***Update***Still had some problems finding parts to completely solve my furnace issues and John Calderon searched and located the parts. We had our unit installed last year. The first problem was them throwing away our working swamp cooler when we had specifically told them not to. They did pay for it but I had to fight with them.Then the plastic cover they used to for our cables fell over. They came and fix it but puncture the condensation line. We found out 1 year later when we did the yearly maintenance with them. Now they don’t want to take responsibility for puncturing the line. We decided to go with the expensive people to avoid dealing with problems like this but do yourself a favor and do not use this company. Also, they have not scheduled the city inspection.

I’m in from out of town to help my elderly mother. Her kitchen has been causing a breaker to trip for quite a while. Levi and Scott came out and solved our problem. I got a call around 10:15 am on Monday 01/30/2023, stating that Wagner could come out on Wednesday February 1st. between 8am and 9am for repairs. Then around 3:30 pm on Monday 01/30/2023 i received another call saying that a Tech. was available to come put and do repairs this afternoon. I agreed to having the Tech. come out. Again It was Dennis Elliot. Dennis apologized for the inconvenience and delay. Dennis was very professional, courteous, and informative It was a pleasure working with Dennis Elliot. Dennis completed the task quickly.

They came and did a sewer line inspection on our house since it was not done prior to purchase. They were very responsive, professional and their technician stayed to talk and discuss plumbing questions I had. I used their special offer and was a good price for the service.

I got bids from 5 vendors to convert evaporative cooler to new heating and air conditioning unit. Bids were all really close. I chose Wagner and do not regret my decision. John and James installed my unit. They were on time, professional and they educated me on the system. They were neat while working and protected my floor and cleaned the area at the end.My salesperson Jim checked in on the job to ensure I was happy. I would recommend them to my friends and relatives.

My appointment was originally scheduled for the morning. At 11am the receptionist calls to inform me that they will not be there until the afternoon. I was okay with this and we set a new time. When the technicians finally arrived (late again). I showed them the exact spot where my main line was leaking. The flagstone was already pulled and the hole dug for them. They turned the water on and off at the curb a couple of times and verified that was where the leak was and confirmed what I had previously told them. They then tried to charge me $700+ to replace one leaking fitting! When I informed the technician that these parts were not even anywhere close to that he informed me that plumbing was expensive and he doesn't set the prices. He then charged me a $90 service charge for his 20 minutes of work and packed up and left. This business is an absolute rip-off who try to take advantage of their customers. I would never even think about using them again.

Our heater/AC combo unit died today. Dennis was here within an hour. The unit was too expensive to repair and has had numerous issues over the last couple of years. Dennis was and always has been very helpful and professional. We are purchasing a new unit from Wagner. Thank you for years of friendly, competent and timely service. Our experience with the company is one of the main reasons we chose to purchase the new unit through Wagner.

I have used Wagner since I bought my house and they are always courteous and professional as well as doing the job good and doing it right the first time. Last year I had to go with another company to switch over my heat. I called around for first available and was amazed at how awful they were. They were rude, had to come back 2x and bent my metal blocker. I will never use anyone else but Wagner they are above and beyond.

Great work. Simple problem for them. I had no clue. They did troubleshooting, identified the issues, explained it to me so I wouldn't run into it again, even offered to change the light bulbs for me. In and out in less than an hour and the problem was fixed.

Wagner's team arrived on time to install an evaporative cooler, and were polite and professional. The installation went well, but the water source (exterior spigot) posed unexpected plumbing problems. Although it was not their error, Wagner expedited additional service to ensure a reliable water source. They stayed late to advise and implement a solution to get my new cooler fully operational. At the end of the day, I feel like Wagner provided what they promised, plus went the extra mile to provide higher-level consultation - I see why they get such great reviews.

I had electrical issues with my breaker box. Needless to say the 50 year old wiring start to show signs of wear. I lost power. ​The main cables had melted and fused together. Pablo from Wagner came out to assess the breaker box. He was honest provided me my 2 options and then gave me the best case and worst case. He then came up with the best solution to solve my issue that was best for myself and Wagner. He was super professional, friendly, and a pure delight to work with. I would strongly recommend Pablo if you need an electrician.

Needed a new AC/furnace during the hottest weeks of the year. Installers did a great job. All were very professional. Lots of different HVAC and electrical work was seamlessly coordinated. Financing was super easy. All work was completed in two days.

We purcashed a mid-level unit for $15,000 in May 2023. As of yesterday, we have had three times where it has stopped working. When I called their customer service I felt like it wasn’t a surprise or concern that a $15,000 job wasn’t working! To be told that the capacitor malfunctioned due to COVID producing bad parts is just an excuse. They were sure responsive when they wanted the sale but then they got it and so the response time is a joke. Called at 8am when it stopped working. Was told they would come between 12 and 5 when it was over 100 outside. They did t show up until nearly 5. Now we are being told there is nothing wrong with the unit and it appears it could be the way they wired it so now we get to wait for an electrician. Meanwhile. The unit keeps tripping my outlets in the home and in our backyard.

Barney, and Reese, and their boss were amazing! Not only did they arrive promptly after called, they took the time over two days to troubleshoot the problem and work all the possible fix until they zeroed in on the problem with our tankless water heater. They then did their best to give me the best value for my money. I would highly recommend Barney, Reese, and the whole company.

I would like to preface this review with the work this company did for us was a job well done and the receptionist I spoke with was understanding. I also understand, as a business person myself, finding staff to work during the pandemic can be difficult. However, my husband and I recently canceled our membership with this company after paying a monthly membership fee without any service. We schedule in advance for heating and a/c maintenance since we currently live in another location and cannot always be in ABQ when appointments can be scheduled or rescheduled. Needless to say, we have not seen someone Since the summer of 2019 even when we have have to schedule for emergency plumbing needs. There is always an emergency the day of our scheduled visits, and we are always canceled on the day of our appointment.

Our heater went out over night so i called Wagner to see if i could get someone out the next day. They were very responsive and showed up the next morning!. Thank you so much for being attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend their services.

Andre came to repair our air conditioning unit today after 3 other repairmen from Wagner weren’t able to get it running. He was able to find the leak and get it up and running again. He was very professional and kept me updated on the progress throughout the day.

We had a sub-panel and four new 240-volt circuits installed so that we can phase out our use of natural gas. The job performed by the Wagner technicians was outstanding, performing all the work within two days. The stucco penetrations looked clean and the conduits and boxes installed aesthetically, with all openings being sealed up. Amazingly, the clothes dryer outlet was placed behind the dryer, no small feat given the situation in the second floor laundry room. Drywall penetrations were minimized. The team was polite and professional and sounded like they were enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend Wagner.

Best experience I’ve had by far… I called to get a quote and techs were able to come out right away. The impressive part was the techs walking up to the water heater already knowing what to do and what to replace without any question before they even got all the way to the water heater. They then explained what needed to be done and what they’ll do. Following week got my install, and let me tell you how clean and professional the work was! I highly recommend and would definitely tell friends and family to higher these guys. Clean work and ten year warranty at a fair price… definitely can’t beat that. Hired to address 2 minor leaks...1 from toilet that required simple wax ring replacement and 2nd from under kitchen sink that required simple drain pipe and flange replacement...tech was there for barely 2 hours to complete work and then wanted to charge us over $800 for the minor repairs that were done. When we protested, he gave us a 'discount' but bill was still over $700!! That amounts to over $350 per hour for work that was done which, IMHO, is absolutely ridiculous. Worst of all, after charging to replace the wax ring for the toilet, he then tells us that our toilet should be replaced, and offered to come back out to replace it at another time, for a separate charge...but then, said he'd give us a discounted rate for that....what a croc! The whole experience felt like we were dealing with an old-school used car dealer. I think he (his name was Barney) thought that because we were elderly women that he could just tell us anything and we'd believe it and also, that he could change whatever he wanted. Came away feeling very disrespected and taken advantage of and we will never use Wagner again...even though we have other services we need, including having our furnace serviced for the winter. It was a terrible experience.

We called Wagner and the scheduler was very professional. She was able to set us up for an appointment the next day. The technician (Jesus Tellus) was on time and did a great job. He was polite and pleasant. He carefully explained what might be our problem and what he was doing to determine what was causing the issue. He gave us approximate costs for needed repair. Once approved, he got our A/C system back up and working quickly. Excellent service!

My technician showed up on time, prepared to do his job. I had a freon leak, that was starting to affect the compressor . He was very professional and explained every part of process to me so I understood what was taken place. He left his work area as clean as he found it.

We were lucky to get Carl to come out and fix our outdoor faucet. Day was supposed to be an easy day but the outdoor faucet cracked suddenly when disconnecting the swamp cooler. Water everywhere. Carl came to the rescue and fixed everything better than new. Carl was cheerful, knowledgeable and did great work. Plus he liked our dogs.

Kitchen sink not draining. $340 later, still not draining. Tech offered to jet flush the drain for $270 more. Then he admitted it was probably a quick, easy fix If he were allowed to access my roof vent. I felt hustled. We declined additional service, paid our tab and started calling plumbers. Kitchen drain still not draining.

I have used Wagner since they installed my heating/cooling system in 2011. Our most recent service was to replace a sump pump on our cooling system. As has been my experience with Wagner, the technician who did our service, Dennis Elliott, was knowledgeable and professional.It is important to note that Wagner will schedule a service on a specific day but not a specific time. So be sure you have a free day before you schedule. However, when the service date arrives Wagner does an excellent job at keeping you informed about who the service tech is and their arrival time.04/18/23. An update. Wagner just completed my annual summer service. Both techs, Barney Gallegos & Andres Villanueva, answered all my questions and provided excellent service.On Friday, May 5, 2023, Barney Gallegos came because the pilot light had gone out on our water heater. I was at work, so he explained things thoroughly to my wife. He blew out the dust from underneath the water heater, and it’s worked fine ever since.

The Wagner team is exceptional. I cannot sing their praises enough. We swapped out an old swamp cooler for refrigerated air and it was all completed with two days! From picking out the new unit to install, we could not be happier with how the whole process went.

I purchased a older adobe house that needed a complete, whole-house heating / cooling system. There never was AC in the house and the radiant heating system had failed and could not be restored. I got 6 estimates before selecting Wagner. They were one of the lower bids (but not THE lowest). I chose them because they were professional, knowledgeable, had good communication, they were extremely responsive, demonstrated a quick response time and they were fairly priced with a good warranty. The whole house system was a VERY large investment but I'm happy with my choice. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

The Technician was was great he deserves a five star rating. However the people at the office canceled me three times after promising to be here. Therefore I give their management a two star rating. I also think their price is too high. At this time I’m not sure if I will call them back or not

Carl and Isaiah are a power team! We had them install a new cap system on our water softener system because the old one was leaking. They not only installed replacement piece but also Cleaned all the sediment and calcium buildup out.Thanks to Carl and Isaiah, I will trust all my plumbing needs to Wagner.

Mike came to my new house because the water lines looked bad. He was honest about what the severity of the situation was. As it turns out the water lines were actually in good shape. However, he also was able to let us know that our sewage drain leading out to the street needed to be replaced. This was not even something my wife and I realized and was not the reason we had Wagner sent out to our home to begin with. If he had not gone above and beyond to check we could have ended up with a disaster on our hands. Unfortunately Wagner doesn’t offer sewage drain replacement as a service but Mike was able to give us a good recommendation. I will most certainly use Wagner again in the future.

I cannot say enough about what an amazing company this is and how wonderful Joe is. My family and I just moved into our house yesterday, and everything seemed fine until we got home from errands and our new house was 87 degrees inside. Frantic, we made tons of calls and were lucky enough that Joe was able to come out almost immediately. He diagnosed the issue, repaired it, and in less than an hour our house is cooling down again. We are first time homebuyers and terrified of what this could mean for us, Joe was empathetic, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Our service person was right on time. He was very personable, and got right to work on closing up our evap coolers for the season and checking out our hot water heating boiler. I met him at the door with my dog on a leash, and the first thing he did was go back to his truck to get some dog treats. James came out to do a scope of our sewer for the sale of our home and he was fantastic! Showed up on time, was quick, polite and friendly. We were worried we were going to need major repairs and he put our mind at ease and was incredibly helpful. This was my first experience with Wagner but we’ll be their customer from here on out.

Installation of the new furnace went great. In 26 years in our home, we had never had a working furnace in the great room addition, although the ducting was/is in place. We heated the room with a wood-burning stove in one end and a space heater elsewhere in the room as needed. This new capital improvement will save us a lot of firewood expense and at least some of the fireplace hassles, so we’re pleased. Thank you. Wagner Mechanical replaced the furnace in the original part of our house a couple of years ago, which also went great, so we were happy to call them again. ONLY ONE THING hasn’t gone as expected: It’s been three weeks and Wagner still hasn’t arranged for the city inspection that will result in a green tag on the new furnace — a thing that’s supposed to happen within 10 work days. We trust it’ll happen; might take a phone call to give Wagner a nudge. Anyway, all in all, we’re satisfied. Thanks again.

Luis did an excellent job installing the bathroom light fixture taking out the old fixture. The other light switches will need to be done when it’s scheduled. The almond color for the switch was not available. Both technicians were professional. I’m so thankful and happy for a job well done.

I had a really excellent experience with Wagner. My heater stopped working right before a freeze was due to come. I called first thing in the morning and was offered a same day appointment. Communication about dispatch was timely and accurate. My service technician, John Calderon, provided amazing customer service. He explained potential issues, was thorough, did not pressure me into any services but explained each of them and let me make a decision. He didn't leave as soon as my heater was back up and working-- he waited quite a while to ensure it kept working until my house heated up. He was polite and professional. The service was well worth the cost for the peace of mind and professionalism I got from choosing Wagner. 10/10!

The service was scheduled the next day of our phone call after we left a message at 6:15 PM.The service technician came at 8:30 AM the next morning. The service technician, Steven Jaramillo, was super friendly and professional and gave the impression he was very confident in his abilities to solve our problem with a tankless water heater. After a very thorough inspection, and solving our initial problem, he pointed out several potential problems and code violations and suggested a new on-demand water heater. Steven was able to install a new unit and fix the code violations all in the same day while maintaining a great, humerus attitude despite a very hot garage!!

The staff was friendly, kept me informed,and showed me photos as I was unable to get outside. Wagner uses quality products and was able to replace my system in a timely manner. They provided me with portable ac to help with my comfort level and will look into getting a generator while my power is shut down as I am on oxygen. It truly is a full service company!Prices are comparable with other vendors. They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive vendor. I used Wagner for annual maintenance for our tankless hot water heater. They had excellent scheduling and communicated extremely well through the entire process. Their technician, James, was timely, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and set expectations. My only issue was the final invoice did not match what was quoted over the phone. Difference was small and I still feel I got good value for the service, but felt it needed mentioning for proper feedback.

Excellent communication throughout, and all staff very professional. I called dispatcher for HVAC repair and and electrical repair and was able to get technicians out for both services on the requested days. Dispatcher provided names of expected technicians, and both arrived promptly. The electrical technician was polite, professional, and efficient, and was able to diagnose and repair the issue with the cost of the service call fee (loose wire nut connection in a wall switch). The HVAC technician was also prompt, polite, professional, and efficient and completed the work of diagnosing a refrigerant leak in a heat exchanger (caused by a loose valve) and recharging it. On the negatives, the HVAC repair was much more expensive than anticipated. The service call fee is NOT applied to any work done, and all services are “unbundled.” That is, there’s a separate charge for each step of a service. Some additional services were offered that were unnecessary, and the line item costs of those additional services were provided only when asked specifically.

Abysmal service and poor quality! Had them look at AC/furnace system and the tech recommended a service plan. This plan provides for two visits per year, winter and summer. Took almost the whole winter to actually get a winter service call scheduled. After many calls, no-shows, and rescheduling, finally got someone to show up which then, it was explained that no services are actually included in the service contract, such as a simple cleaning of coils, etc. All those are extra, were not able to be completed at the time of the visit, and terribly expensive. Then, I called for a summer service upon which I was told that the original call I had made last summer was the summer service call under the plan. They then tried to sell me another service plan which is laughable at best and insulting to be sure. None of these specifics were explained by the tech at the time of when I agreed to the service contract. Do yourself a favor, unless you like bait-and-switch, take your business elsewhere!

I had a gas leak on my water heater and they came out right away. I called at 8:21am and had my water heater fixed before 10:00 am. Thank you.

Great guys. Very polite. I have an older home that is wired in mysterious ways. Had some outlets that stopped working, they spent hours tracing the line, and eventually found it. They spent quite a bit of time in my hot itchy crawl space and pulled out just about every plug in my house but they found the problem and button it up nicely.

My AC went out. Wagner was able to schedule a repair technician within 48 hours which is much better than most providers in Albuquerque. The technicians arrive at the scheduled time or competent, professional, and polite. They address the issue got the system back up and running in a routine inspection of all of its functions. I would highly recommend them to any other person in need of AC repairs.

Woke up this morning and found out that there was no electricity in the one bedroom. Checked the circuit breaker box and all was good. I called Wagner. At first, I was told they had an opening for Thursday but needed to check with the manager to make sure. She came back and said a service man can come out in a few minutes. The problem was checked out and fixed. Pablo and Dennis were very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

We had great service from Wagner Mechanical technician Cody and his assistant today.They removed our old AC, swamp cooler, and sealed the vent on the roof. The work was done efficiently and effectively in a little less than one hour. He took pictures of the old AC before removal and the vent he sealed after the removal so we didn't have to get up on the roof to see the work done.Cody had previously installed our new HVAC system and we were glad to see him back to complete the project.

Despite being right around the holidays, and only having a couple days of notice, they pushed us forward as a priority, and one of their technicians worked late to make sure we were taken care of. I had shower replaced in the Bath. flush handle replaced not the toilet. To order parts I was ask to make apron 50% payment It was to run over something around $550 so I paid $250. After a month or so service tec. returned with parts and installed them he told me the total job would be $850. When I questioned the additional amount he said I had agreed to a complete system replacement. My impression was the original quote was the complete Job. I am left with the feeling I was over charged. Paid the extra $600. Not very happy, will probably never use Wagner again. Jack Hamilton

Wagner installed our heating/a/c several years ago. We recently had our a/c go out. A repairman was scheduled. The communications were excellent, both the office and the repairman. The repairman was on time both visits, explained what the problem was, the cost and when he would be able to obtain the part. I am very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We called because our heater was shutting off so Jesus fixed the issue quickly. He did find another problem that happened due to some remodeling we had done in the house. We would have not known there was an issue if he had not be so thorough. Thank you Jesus!

Wagner never disappoints. David DuPriest was sent to fix a big detached heating pipe. He was so capable and knew just what to do to fix it. Lucky for us....he fixed a carbon monoxide hazard. And as an added plus, he was tidy so pleasant.

Steve arrived as scheduled. He checked the leaking kitchen faucet which we discovered had been leaking for some time which we were not aware of but noticed it 3 days ago.. After looking at the problem I asked him if it would be better to replace it as it was 11 years old. He said he didn’t want to mention it but he agreed it was a better choice. Steve went to pick up a new unit and returned to install it in short time. No pressure but said I made the right choice. Very professional and friendly. Excellent service again by Wagner Mechanical. Called them for this job based on the excellent job they did in May installing our new AC and heating system. This is our go to company.

My water heater pilot wouldn't light so I called Wagner and was able to get someone over in less than an hour after calling. Barney and his coworker were both friendly and professional. Barney advised on what needed to be replaced to make the unit work. My water heater is older, so he suggested other part replacements as well, but there was no pressure on that. After obtaining the parts the work was complete in less than an hour. Everything is working like a charm now. I would use them again for fast reliable service.

Wagner did a couple of things on our house. The electrical work and the water heater they installed were, overall, fine. The water heater installation caused a roof leak, but these things happen. What I want to complain about are the new water lines to our swamp coolers. They upsold us on copper piping which we paid $500 for last summer. Now, after less than a year, these pipes are leaking in at least thirty places and will need to be repaired. These are supposed to be brand new water lines, and they are completely unusable already. I am disappointed to an extreme degree that $500 of work resulted in pipes that leak even worse than the old ones did, and after trying to get other mistakes fixed I refuse to call them again. The only way they could make it up is to fix the pipes, for real this time, for free, and I doubt very much that that will happen because this is a large, indifferent company that has no care for the quality of their repair work. Different people showed up every time. I wouldn't recommend this service to my friends after the shoddy workmanship and terrible customer service.

They were great working the purchase and made sure that I had all the information with no pressure. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME! The team did a great job of doing the removal and install and had the job done in about 6 hours. The field supervisor came out to make sure that I was completely happy with the job and understood everything about the new system. Can't compliment them enough.

Really impressed with this company. We had a toilet malfunctioning and a frozen water valve, Mike and Gabe came and were on time, professional, and fast. Originally I just needed the valve replaced but after talking to them it was decided to have them do the repair to the toilet (needed new float mechanism) also. Both items were done very quickly with no issues. Thanks to them for their quick and complete work.

One star because I have to.Worst company ever. O communication. Never finished the install of my air conditioner unit , sent multiple men to my home who told me I was wrong my house is just built that way that air just doesn’t flow.Lied to me multiple times about why they couldn’t finish the job such as , they needed a crane to remove my air conditioner to make room for the condenser, when they had literally replaced everything already, it was a Friday and this employee had a weekend to start . They lied about my unit leaking, lied about the install being finished and done correctly , lied about the training and experience of their employees, lied and told me the main boss Gary Dewitt would be personally coming out to make sure the job was done correctly. He did not, not until 3 months of me being ignored but told my calls and messages were going to him personally. I was in my home for 2 summers trying to get air conditioning and ever male that came to my home lied to me the whole time telling my unit was working nothing wrong with it and it was my pregnancy hormones.This is a disgusting excuse for a business. They need to be held responsible for screwing over so many people . I am not the first.Also when Gary Dewitt came out he told me nothing was wrong with my unit but it was the balance of air coming through my vents . Tell me how the main guy running Wagner installs can’t see a unit one of his guys put in has multiple leaks and a condenser that is the wrong size.Do not use this company for anything. In the end I’m out thousands of dollars and they don’t care. Never did. They just want your money.

Were not honest and charged me 95$ just to scare me and tell me I needed a circuit board, a motor and a cleaning for my heater that was blowing coldair. After they left I broke down and cried thinking I need to get this done. I then called another company that came out and just cleaned out the heater top and bottom used some brush thing and only charged me 150.00 and didn't charge to come out. Wagner for cleaning alone wanted to charge me close to 400 plus I got scammed out of 95$. Shameful to take advantage of a Senior!!

Wagner was able to diagnose an issue with our HVAC unit when another company could not find the problem. They also fixed the problem and were very professional and on time.

Great experiences every time. Very professional, to the point. They try to be very fair in pricing. Most companies are having issues with keeping staffers, and while this is hitting Wagner as well, it's amazing how well they handle picking up the extra work, and maintain professionalism.The call center is always courteous and professional.Most of their techs are exceedingly thorough and knowledgeable. I can't think of other names, but the last guy, Steven, was very impressive with his dedication and knowledge base. Good people. Will be happy to keep working with them.Edit/update 6/28/23. A bit of a lesson. So I had a regular service and a cleaning of my AC back in April. The guy forgot to turn on the AC after checking it, aside from that everything was smooth, the unit was properly cleaned etc. Anyhow I failed to call for 2 months, until today. I would pay close attention to that detail like the air isn't very cold. No matter how good someone is, just double check everything jic as all techs are human.They sent a guy whose been working there 20+ years, Jesus Telles. He was very knowledgeable. Did a thorough check, figured out the problem and it was done in a few minutes, gave some great tips about how to use the AC and was a very chill guy. Actually I would say everyone there is very personable and professional. Just wanted to give a personal recommendation to Jesus. Thank you.

Wagner reviewed the findings of a home inspection we had and quickly determined what they could fix. They installed plugs in the water heater control box and a ground wire where one was missing. They were meticulous, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. They only charged me for a service call, yet they certainly performed much more than a service.

The Techs are professional and knowledgeable in the work they do. They completed a new installation in our rental home and it came out perfectly. They listen to all concerns and questions.So if you want a company that has great technicians and uses superior products, then I say Wagners. But if you don’t want to deal with an impolite back office/management, then 👎🏼.

Mr. Telles looked at other components in the system to make sure everything was working fine. He fine tuned the system and we can now enjoy the other side of our home. The six different technicians I had on my system upgrades did a phenomenal job. I had a swamp cooler removed, replaced the hot water tank and furnace, had a new A/C unit installed and upgraded my electric service to 200 amp. Everyone at Wagner's was courteous & professional, the jobs were done correctly in a timely fashion and they cleaned up very well after their work was completed. The scheduling and notification process was professional and flawless. Most important to me was the fact that all of the work was inspected by the City which Wagner's scheduled. Not all companies have the inspections done so do your homework. Thank you Wagner's, jobs well done from a very happy customer.

He basically rebuilt my heater because it was not working due to not being maintained. And it was all I could afford. I was pleased with his work and his assistant who was learning. They were helpful and bright young individuals. I am impressed with their knowledge and expertise. I can’t share a photo but if I could they would be the stars.

I was having an estimate done for a couple of plumbing projects. Jack and David were very professional and friendly. Wagner did an outstanding job and provided excellent customer service. Our toilet was leaking at the bottom and they came the same day and sent texts letting us know when they would arrive. The plumber quickly fixed the problem and the price was reasonable. He even gave us a tip that using bleach tabs in the toilet can melt the rubber around the bottom of the toilet. I highly recommend Wagner for your plumbing needs!

Our heater wouldn't come on so I called Wagner and they had someone out immediately. Turned out it wasn't the heater. Our 25yr old hot water heater had broken and had leaked all the propane from our underground tank all over the garage. The gentleman who came shut off the gas right away, called the office to order a new water heater and has set up installation for the same day. We couldn't be happier!

Fantastic job. I was showed all options for shower faucet/drain replacement and repair. Installation was done professionally. Great customer service and quality workmanship.

We had leaking under kitchen sink with floor clasping due to water damage. It took two plumber about one hour to fix leaks and repair floor. Very nice, professional and cleaned up their mess. Other than the $320 I feel it went very well.

The communication of status of availability of the product I ordered was totally lacking. From the start of the whole process. Finally when the units were installed (after a long wait). Technician (Chris Barr) did a great job. Having an issue with the noise of the unit , again Chris came out and diagnosed the problem and put in a temporary fix. The part ordered , I was to be contacted by the office when it came in. Did not hear from anyone. When I called for status, said they would find out and get back to me Did not!! called again several days later, same thing. Did Not get a call back!! Finally I got a call the part was available and Chris was on his way to install. Again he did a great job. I found the competence of the installation to be fine but the communication of the company to me as a customer was totally lacking.

Alex was so polite and knowledgeable. He did a great job installing a new kitchen sink and faucet! Highly recommend. Although the cost to install was not cheap, we felt the quality, promptness & professionalism made it worth it.

I have had two different crews cometo my home: One for plumbing - replaced a broken garbage disposer - an awesome team who did an exemplary job, quick, professional and complete. The second team was an electrical team, who found and corrected several small mystery electrical 'glitches' - Darius and Luis, were even superior to the first team for their listening skills, and their ability to diagnose and correct problems. So far, Wagner has proven themselves to be 'life-savers' when it comes to helping make timely repairs, a GREAT company, and I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors, family and friends. They Installed a new HVAC system at my residence. Jordan was super.....he was very communcative. He performed the installation. He kept me informed on every step of the process. All steps occurred as he told me it would and I now have an operating system. I would give him 5 Stars!!I wasn't that impressed with the communcation between the employees there. Things that occcured, even though resolved, happened because ot the poor communication between all the moving parts of the company.

I had a thermostat to install. The technician was friendly and professional. The technician came and installed the thermostat but they charged me for evaluation and installation separately, which doesn't make any sense. Any technician needs to look at the system before installation!!! It's part of their job and must be included in the installation fee itself. If I hadn't given them the job that evaluation fee would have made sense. I contacted them regarding this, waiting for them to get back to me. If it is not resolved, I wouldn't work with them in the future because of unjustified fees.

During a maintenance check one of my two AC systems was determined to have low coolant and a coolant leak. A preliminary estimate was created which was ~$1700. Then when it was determined my system was under warranty the company decided a technician had to come out and search for the leak - which was not thought to be needed until the warranty was in play. This experience felt suspicious to me and will cause me to be cautious with Wagner in the future. The matter with my AC system is not yet resolved.

Barney and Reece did excellent work. I needed some plumbing done urgently and they arrived in about an hour. They explained everything they were doing and the cost was very reasonable.

Wagner ABQ and specifically Barney Gallegos were very helpful and friendly in getting our swamp cooler services and set up for summer. He was considerate of our small dogs and went above and beyond with the service he did at our house.

Wagner has been nothing but awesome for me. They have replaced a water heater, done some minor electric, and replaced a toilet. I have had Randy for 2 of the replacements. Both times he was professional and explained everything that was needed and why. I also had Levi to do the electric work and he was professional and good at problem solving. So far I have been very impressed. I also like that they send a pic of the person showing up to work so I feel more comfortable opening the door.

I've had bad experiences with other plumbers in the past but Barney and Reese ensured that I'll be calling Wagner for all of my future plumbing issues.

David Lopez was our technician and he was terrific. He is very professional, kind and explained what he was doing in detail. I like when I can ask questions and not feel like I am bothering the technician. I have been a customer of Wagner for quite sometime and will continue to keep my business with them. I trust them with anything my home needs, and this is what is important to me.

Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the system. Would have been 5 stars but my appt was at 0900....I received a message at 0854 saying they were on the way but they didn't get there until 1130. I called to check and they had been sent on a different call. The work still got done and it's a great system!

First time using Wagner for plumbing work. They were able to make it out for a same day service on a busted outdoor faucet that resulted in the whole house being without water and the swamp cooler not running. Nathan replaced the faucet with a better setup and explained what he was doing and why. Very happy, calling them back for replacement of two additional hose bibs next week!

Our motor stopped working on our furnace and couldn't get a replacement as a DIY. Scheduled for Wagner to replace/repairDue to the age of the home and only owning less than 5 years, we needed to replace the furnace. Today was our installation and I am very pleased with the professionalism, on time, quickness and above all very clean with the huge mess we had with the old furnace especially the small space they had to work with and upstairs. I know this was not an easy installation and they exceeded my expectations tremendously. At the time of scheduling our installation we were told they would be here all day. These 4 guys knocked it out in 4 hours!!! The system is wonderful , quiet and affordable!! I highly recommend Wagner before any other competition. We've used other competitors and they don't compare to the Wagner Team!!!

Barney and Luke really helped me out and fixed both my AC that filter busted and my heating unit that was making weird sounds. I think the prices from Wagner are pretty high for what was done but they gave me a discount to help offset the cost. Thank you both!

When I submitted a request for an estimate online I received a call back on the same day and a date for the estimator was set for 3 days later (due to the weekend). The estimator made suggestions for a system to meet our wants, needs, and designed to provide adequate heating and cooling for the size of our home. He explained how the systems worked, the energy efficiency, and general installation procedure. To our surprise, they were able to schedule the installation 2 days later. Wagner sent out an individual to do a walk through to see where all the equipment would be going, get an idea of the requirements for the installation. The installers showed up the next day, on time. The installation had its challenges, as it involved removing evaporative coolers on the ground floor and second floor and running the cooler lines through the attic. The installers met the challenges and conquered them. It took two days, but in the end everything was in place, looked good, and works very well.

The new wall mounted toilet is wonderful! Thanks very much to Robert for doing such a fine job. He explained everything perfectly, finished the job ahead of schedule and cleaned up beautifully when he was done. He’s a highly competent plumber—and a delightful person!

When my tankless hot water heater quit working I contacted Wagner to come diagnose the issue. A technician came out within a few hours and looked at the hot water heater and had to make some phone calls due to never dealing with my brand of water heater. He came back saying the water heater would likely need to be replaced and that customer service was a nightmare to deal with and that I would be charged hourly just for making the phone calls. He never diagnosed the issues and instead tried to sell me on the two types of water heaters they could install. When he came back with a quote of $6,600 I about fell on the floor! I asked what model I would receive for that price he said it could be for whichever one I want. Clearly that didn’t seem right to me so I kindly told him I would like for a quote somewhere else. I was able to find another plumber to come out and replace the tankless for $3,000! Glad I did not fall into their scam!

The technician was very competent and courteous, but the office and scheduling is subpar. First appointment date was canceled by Wagner because they were short on techs, then the second appointment time, three weeks later, was rescheduled twice in the same day. Not easy to plan your life around all those reschedules. Also, one of the jobs I requested never appeared on the techs agenda, so I just left it undone. The office informed him of the other task after he left, he came back to complete it, and I told him to forget it, it was too late in the day.

I have hired Wagner for all my cooling, heating and plumbing for a few years and highly recommend.

Called for an appointment for a sewer line blockage issue, they showed up in about 30 minutes, James had the experience to zoom right in on the cause of the problem and deal with it quickly and professionally. (It was roots in the line near where the house ties into the city sewer line.) This problem has been recurring for quite a while and other plumbers have dealt with the symptoms but none seemed to have had the experience to zero in on the cause. I'm quite satisfied with Wagner's work and the perfectly reasonable bill.

I tried to replace the toilet fill valve and it leaked. Robert showed up on time, was personable, fixed the leak, and completed the setup of the new valve. Very satisfied.

Robert Tafoya of Wagner installed a new water heater after my 12 year old heater failed. He was able to complete the installment in a single day to my complete satisfaction, and Robert was very courteous, knowledgeable and patient in advising me of my options and providing a reasonable cost estimate. Once he completed the installation, he took the time to teach me how all of the heater worked and answer any questions that I had. He cleaned area thoroughly, leaving it cleaner than it was when he started. I'm very pleased with Wagner's services and my new heater.

After installing a HVAC system as well as electrostatic filter amounting to around $22,000, our water heater had leak problem and when we called Wagner, sadly it was Sunday and we knew we would probably have to pay more for service, they stated they did not have anyone who could help us. We called another company and they came promptly. We even had been a member of Wagner's Club. We cancelled this after they abandoned a customer who had paid all bills and had initially given them a good eval. The technicians who came were usually very good. But don't count on them if you have an emergency and please note after this experience we talked with several people and businesses, who noted as we did that they really price gouge. Shop around. Consider this a caveat emptor.

I am so pleased to have worked with a group of individuals who are so well trained to do their job and who have good work ethics and a sense of professionalism that I thought had been long lost. Every professional worker who came to my home from Wagner Mechanical Inc., arrived on time, they did the work quickly and expertly and they were kind and respectful to the consumer. The office staff always answered the phones promptly and were able to resolve issues quickly. I appreciate that there are upper-level managers who contact the consumers to double-check for efficiency and and quality of work provided. I think this company costs a bit more than some others, but you are paying for a team of experts who ascertain that your needs are met!

OMG—we’ve been putting up with broken showers and individual h/c faucets for years that were impossible to get the temp right. Finally called Wagner and got everything fixed in one day—changed to single controls. I’m so happy. Robert Tafoya was professional, knowledgeable, very polite and just took care of it all. Was a little pricey but just like everything else these days so I agreed and ultimately worth it.

Requested a tankless water heater maintenance flush. Appointment was rescheduled by dispatcher once with plenty of heads-up time, technician was an hour late on day of appointment and a valve was broken by the technician during the service. Parts were not in his truck so he had to leave for an hour or so to get a new valve. For those reasons we took off a star. However, Wagner did not charge for the valve breakage. All-in-all we were happy with the service.

Quick, on time, great service! They did a wonderful job, great guys, Jesus is an outstanding technician who will be our regular technician for yearly checks on the HVAC. Quick diagnosis and repair of a system that laid dormant for years. My house will be ice cold in the hottest part of summer.

I would not recommend Wagner. My family and I have been using Wagner for years. Needed work done on our furnace, they didn’t show up with the right tools, so had to schedule a second time. Then after giving us a higher than average estimate for a new furnace, never followed up on customer service/pricing issues. Promised phone calls never came and communication evaporated when we tried to ask more questions and get more information. Wagner used to be our go to, but after this experience we will be taking our business else where.

I had a first rate experience with Justin and Michael of Wagner Mechanical Inc. They replaced my badly broken water heater with a beautiful new model. They thoroughly reviewed the new water heater and gave me important information and recommendations. They also took time to rebuild the stand. Jesus Telles is outstanding! He is courteous, very knowledgeable in his profession and takes the time needed to explain questions that the layperson may have. He has serviced both the heating and a/c systems in my home.Also, due to his professionalism, I will continue to use Wagner. Very impressed by this company. Barney and Reese did a fantastic job installing my new water heater. They were on time, efficient and knowledgeable and made sure to clean up when the job was done. I called to make an appointment Thursday morning and the installation was complete by Friday evening!

Wagner came the same day I called. He was professional and quick and the service was very inexpensive!

I hired Wagner to give me a second opinion on a problem with my Mitsubishi split units that are just over five years old. It stopped producing heat all together. Dennis Elliott came out from the Wagner team to diagnose the problem. His explanation and attention to detail was amazing. He was on time and very professional. Dennis took photographs of all of the issues he found with the installation job that my former heating & cooling company did on my roof. When the job was done he sent me very detailed photos of all the work he completed to get my split units up and running again. My tankless hot water heater was new 3.5 years ago with my home build and the pipes were already rusting. I phoned Wagner and had service within two days. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. Excellent service. Very happy with his work.

I don’t typically leave reviews but my experience with Wagner was great all around. Sarah made it easy to schedule & get a tech to our place as early as possible! Our tech, Dennis, was very helpful! He was very friendly & informative & answered all of my questions. Our A/C ducts were plugged which caused a leak. Dennis got to the problem & was quick, thorough & got the job done quicker than I anticipated. 10/10 highly recommend.

Luis did electrical work in my home. He installed two ceiling lamps. He's very professsional on what he does. He was very polite and has real good customer service. I'm very pleased with his work.

Wagner recently installed a complete new HVAC system in my home. They were responsive, and professional, and had my install completed in 8 days from diagnosis. It was very quick, and I was well pleased with the experience. All the technicians were prompt, courteous, very helpful in explaining processes. They were careful for my floors, and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. The new system is SO quiet and I'm thrilled. I would definitely recommend Wagner Mechanical to be part of the bid process for your project. They might not be the cheapest, but the service and promptness was worth quite a bit. Good, fast, cheap - you can only pick two of those. Give them a call and have them bid your job!

Amazing service. I had called TLC prior to calling Wagner, but I am very glad I went with Wagner instead. Not only did they get in touch in the same day to set me up with financing and book my installation, they were fast, courteous, and did great work. TLC didn't communicate with me for over three days, during which I had no heat in my home. It didn't seem like TLC really cared to get my business, but Wagner definitely did, and I would highly recommend them.

Would not recommend them. Way overpriced and they have very bad customer service. Had my appointment at 1, got a text at 12:30 that the guy was on his way, he gets to my home at 1:30, already bad impression. Than while talking he did not explain the procedure, what the entire process would look like nothing, he went straight to pricing. Last thing he said was “will this price work for you yes or no?” as I said I would look to get other estimates as the price seemed pretty high, he very rudely picked up his tablet and just left. Wouldn’t spend my money on them.

We were worried about a sound related to our air conditioning. Turned out to not be a problem, but our technician was polite and explained how the condensation pump works and that it wasn’t an unusual concern by customers. Wagner has done a good heating and cooling job for us over the years.

Wagner has an informative website- used a chat bot to inquire about appt. They called within 15 minutes and were able to offer same day appt. Technician was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained what was being done. When done, great price and lower price than competitors- such as roto - roo…..

NO ETHICS, PLEASE READ: Couldn't get past the pushy and negative sales process. Slamming any and all competitors is poor practice and making every effort to discount what the customer has to say is even worse. If you like high pressure sales and an overpriced value add speech, this is the place for you. If you have your own input, please don't speak up unless you feel like being reprimanded. If the culture of the company is like this, I hate to see the pressure on a repair/service call, no thanks.EDIT: They will call code enforcement on you if you make a bad google review or shoo them out of your house. They are vengeful, they are the only company we have spoken to in months for any construction related services, and they are the only people to look at our electrical panel. Today Code Enforcement showed up to say we had illegal electrical work happening on our electrical panel, we showed them we don't have anything going on. Code enforcement left because we didn't have anything happening. We have only started looking for quotes for work, we aren't doing any work. WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS, ZERO ETHICS!!!

Having been a Homeowner for many years I have learned the hardway little jobs become big jobs. I learned after the fact my job certainly could have fit that category had I attempted to do it myself. The tech quickly diagnosed the issue and then looked for a possible cause. They then had everything they needed to make the fix.... Saving. me from what would have surely been thousands dollars in repair later on.

I needed to replace the old cast iron pipes and they arrived reasonably on time and in the timeline as well as cost quoted. My technician could have used an assistant but he stuck it out and worked till it was done. I will hire again!

The two guys were so nice and even took time to discuss future products and aervice with us. I've used a few plubmers in RR and definitely more satisfied with Wagner than others, just from today. Already planning my next products

Bryan Stevenson and his apprentice did an outstanding job installing our A/C. They were courteous, clean-cut, and extremely professional. The install took 9 hours and went without a hitch with one exception. About halfway through the install, a supervisor, Blake or Brad, showed up and was berating and condescending these two guys who were just trying to do their jobs. The issue being that some of the material arrived damaged and Bryan didn't trust it and was waiting for replacements to arrive. As the customer, I highly appreciate Bryan's decision to not use damaged materials and find it a little unprofessional to demean your hard-working employees in the first place, let alone in front of the customer.Bryan went through and explained every aspect of out new system and showed me everything they did. The quality of their work is beyond reproach. They are truly exceptional!Bryan's and his team are both Rockstars, and are stellar representatives of Wagner Mechanicals good reputation. I will definitely use Wagner for all my needs going forward based solely on this install. I would hope that in the future Wagner will place greater emphasis on employing more people like Bryan, and ensuring supervisors are more aware of the value of their employees.

Robert from Wagner discovered the expansion tank on the water heater was never set correctly upon the initial installation. The tank needed to be replaced since there was a presence of water. His discovery and replacement of the tank prevented a major leak in the garage and house from occurring.

Had used them a couple years ago and they were good. Now called to ask a quick question about seismic retrofitting laws for old water heater, as no specifics on line. I called 4 times to talk to someone and the first three they said they would “send a message to the technicians” . The fourth time the lady even made an appointment. Have not heard back since and appt has long passed. Not very professional.

Overall extremely disappointed with this company. First, I made an appointment with them to schedule an AC repair. After giving all my information and setting up the appointment, the very same lady I spoke with calls me again the next day to say she is ready to schedule an appointment for me. At that point I knew there would be problems. Then on the day of the appointment they informed my wife, who had already taken off from work, that they needed to cancel. They said they didn’t have enough workers and overbooked. They wanted to reschedule in 2 weeks. After my wife informed them that was unacceptable, they were able to reschedule us for the following Monday. On the day of the rescheduled appointment, the tech showed up and said he could not complete the repair. He said his supervisor told him there would be liability issues if they tried to do the repair. Complete waste of time. I should’ve done myself a favor and call TLC right off the bat. Live and learn.

Wagner, originally installed a new heating and refrigerated air conditioning system for us around 3 years ago! It’s been fantastic! When the service men come to check on the system or look into something, they are always professional, prompt and informative! We highly recommend Wagner for any service you may need!

They left bare wires exposed, boards with nails sticking out. The electrical Supervisor is the worst disrespectful and unprofessional. when he wasn’t doing that he was trying to sell me side work to make money for himself terrible terrible experience I will never use them again I just hope they finish

The gentleman who came out to give a quote was GREAT!! Especially after having a negative experience with the call center, a rep named Sean/Shawn. But Chris was professional and had good vibes. Making an investment like this isn't always easy, but dealing with Chris has made the process much easier.

Wagner was able to send out servicemen the same day I called. They keep in touch with text updates, arrived in the window I was given, got right to work, found the problem, and fixed it. They gave us very helpful information about how to prevent it from happening again with our old pipes and were courteous and hard working. They could have cleaned up a little more thoroughly, but overall they were outstanding!

Wagner scheduled me for a week after I called for AC repair. That's not ideal being without cooling in June but I can understand they are busy. The day comes and I take off work to wait. They arrive only to tell me they can only work on the AC that already works and my broken one needs a different technician. They tell me the other tech could probably come out today and they leave. I call Wagner to confirm and the lady on the phone says that I am confirmed for tomorrow. Ok, not great, but it is what it is, I guess. Five hours later Wagner calls me back to tell me the next available appointment is 11 days away, toward the end of June. Nothing was scheduled by the original tech or the last who answered the phone.That justifies a one star review.

Nathan was real professional, and polite, he came in ask questions about the problem, left for about 30 minutes to get part for my bathroom faucet in the tub. He installed part, and finished the job. I couldn't have had a more proficient technician. I would like to commend Wagner employee Andrew Roman. There was a serious issue with the furnace duct work. Andrew examined the issue, explained exactly what was wrong and proceeded to repair the ductwork . He was professional, knowledgeable, and his experience came through every minute while he completed and tested the repair. I highly recommend Andrew Roman and will specifically ask for him whenever I may need services from Wagner in the future.

We have used Wagner for our heating system inspections every couple of years. They are always so professional and knowledgeable. This year we need a repair and they were very clear about what was and was not happening, what are options were. They had the part in stock and we all fixed up in an hour or so. I appreciate the high quality service and great service techs that come each time we schedule a call.

My AC compressor stopped working. Dennis, from Wagner, came out to check it out and he seemed to know just what to do. Very professional and efficient. I got excellent service starting from my first phone call all the way to completion of the hot water heater replacement. All the latest safety measures were added. Their set price included the delivery and removal of the water tank, and a three year guarantee. The set price was easier to understand and acceptable rather than unknown hourly plus parts cost. The plumber who did the work explained everything, arrived promptly and did excellent work.

Victor came out and solved my issue with my heater short cycling. Turned out to be my filter with a too ,high MERV rating. He is always pleasant and helpful.

2020 A/C inspection completed professionally today by an excellent technician, Jesus Telles. He was knowledgeable and explained very clearly what he was going to do for the inspection, then explained what would need to be replaced and presented me with three options. I chose the most complete option as a result of his explanations. He was obviously well trained with a high level of expertise and needed no oversight. He worked efficiently and completed all work in less than the estimated time. He cleaned up and explained what could be discarded and what to store. I have nothing but praise for all the technicians Wagner has sent out over the past two years,,and equal praise for the staff who handle the phone lines - great customer relations. I joined the Wagner Mechanical Club! Have not regretted it.

The professionalism and customer care are outstanding. This time with Dylan, Pablo, and Christian.Our AC went out during a thunder/lightening storm one night. Dylan came out to troubleshoot and fix. He was thorough and promptly realized it was an electrical problem.Pablo and Christian came out that afternoon and began troubleshooting.For our situation, an easy solution would be to drop a new line, which would cost a lot of $$$ and require another crew to come out in about a week or two. Pablo and Christian's tenacity enabled isolating the problem, getting the AC on that afternoon, and saving us from spending a lot of $$$ and time waiting.Thank you Dylan, Pablo, and Christian. You three are true gentlemen and skilled repair personnel.

We got a call that there was someone available in about 20 minutes who could repair our faucet. Our appointment was actually scheduled for the next day but we were really glad to have it repaired immediately. The gentleman who came diagnosed the problem right away and explained what he would have to do to fix it. He was fast and thorough. He disassembled and reassembled the faucet correctly and had it fully fixed in 15 minutes.We were totally delighted and impressed. I recommend Wagner Mechanical with no reservation.
