Called out 5 times and overcharges (compared to competitors) not honoring warranty on parts they replaced that didnt last, Incorrect diagnostics was told we need a new AC installed for $11000 and another AC company came out and fixed their faulty wiring in under an hour with just one call. Never received call back from manager.

Clogged waste line tech explained what he was going to do step by step and followed the process. In less than 30 minutes line was unclogged. Great work.

I requested an estimate for a gas line to run from the gas meter, which is 8 feet away, to a permanent generator. They gave me an estimate of 400 dollars a FOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. This must be a gold-plated gas line that they use!!!!!And I've been a semi-regular customer of theirs for years!!!!!!! But apparently customer loyalty doesn't count for much anymore!!!!!! Maybe I need to find a new plumber and HVAC company. But they'll probably just shrug their shoulders and say go ahead!!!!

We had a gas leak and our Water heater was not up to code and leaked. Albuquerque plumbing and heating responded immediately to my call.The service technician was very Attentive to our needs and was able to install a new water heater and upgrade all the pipes to code. He also repaired our furnace as well.I would not hesitate to call them again and would suggest if you need help in the future, these are the people to contact.

They bent over backwards to get a hot water heater installed on short notice and they did an excellent job. This was the second time I have had service done with them. They are by far the most friendly and knowledge home repair company that I have used in 20 years.

Mark gave me a courtesy call before he arrived. He was polite and professional. He stayed on task and explained things to me. He got my drain unclogged and he did an amazing job. I would recommend him to family & friends. & I'd give him a 5+/5 stars.

I have used this company twice now for plumbing repairs. Both times they gave me a low estimate and then when it came time for the bill, it was several hundred dollars more than I expected. In both instances they were also unprepared not bringing enough pipe or materials. They spent over an hour getting these materials and charged me for this time. I would not recommend them.

Jeremy was so helpful with my light switch and ceiling fan. He worked efficiently and also made sure the fan was not only running properly but didn’t have a wobble. He did a great job!

I want to like and recommend this company, but I currently cannot. The technicians were very professional and identified my AC problems, working diligently to refill my coolant and replace a capacitor. The price was steep: $1400, but I happily paid it to have cool air again as the temps have been reaching triple digits. Unfortunately, two days later my AC stopped working again. I left a message on the Angi app as well as a voicemail, in addition to other efforts to contact them. It's been almost two weeks now, and I have not heard back. I understand the July 4th holiday, but I hope they don't take that whole week off as it is the hottest time of the year here. Hopefully they will follow through and I can update my review.UPDATE: I called again this week and finally got a hold of them. They promptly returned and worked for an hour to get it cooling again. The technician admitted the fix would likely be temporary. He sent me an estimate that totaled over $2500 to truly fix it. While they didn't charge me for the work today, I'm not confident they have solved the issue. I understand my cooler is older, but $1400 essentially bought me nothing.

I got a new washer and dryer 2.5 months ago. The dryer didn’t work so Costco replaced it. Then the second one had the same issues. I thought it might be an electrical issue on my end so I called an electrician. He didn’t see a problem. I called an install inspection team and they didn’t know either and said it might be a clogged vent. I called Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling and Nicholas was able to diagnose and fix the clogged vent AND told me the installers didn’t clamp my dryer which could lead to a carbon monoxide leak very easily. He fixed that , too. I am very happy with the level on knowledge, skill, professional, and care that this company and specifically Nicholas provided, especially after I had 3 separate professionals come for the same issue. Thank you so much!

Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is an amazing company! I have been using them for years for all of my heating, cooling and plumbing needs. Recently I had them out to fix a leaking faucet in my kitchen and bathroom. I ended up replacing both. The technician Orlando was awesome! He was very polite and friendly. He went above and beyond, explained everything he was doing and any problems that arose with the job. He even did a quick fix on a cabinet door that was coming loose under my kitchen sink. I highly recommend this company. They are top notch!

Thanks for getting me a refund after I had to ask for the 4th time.I think it would be more clear to note the account that I did want service and tried over 5 weeks to get anyone from your company to call me back. However your companies lack of communication and customer service is beyond terrible, the only effort put forth by anyone in your company was to come out and charge me for an initial inspection and disappear.Over the next 5 weeks and multiple phone calls - all initiated by me, I was told over and over again that the technician / manager would call me back while not being allowed to speak with anyone else besides the receptionist.From someone who hasn't used your company before this screams of being a scam. Please tell whoever is in charge, since you screen the customers from being able to talk to anyone, to please change your customer service response.

After being here the 2nd time our cooler problems were almost fixed. Not completely. 1st visit 480.00 2nd visit 255.00. I'm sure this maybe what they all charge. Very nice employees tho.

Company does good work at fair prices. The work they did was a after hours call out repair of the heater for one of my tenants . Everyone I dealt with at this company was efficient, friendly, and proficient!

I requested a quote to convert my swamp cooler to refrigerated air. The tech that came out was very knowledgeable and provided a quote the next day for a simple conversion (most places will take weeks to provide a quote, so I give this company a plus for a day turnaround for a quote). However, the quote was $10K above other quotes for the same service. Do your research before.

Replaced plumbing box for clothes washer.Everyone I talked to was so pleasant and helpful! They were able to get us in early due to a cancelation! Yay!!Joe (and the gentleman working with him) were thoughtful, honest, respectful, and kind! I would highly recommend contacting them!!

My husband and I would like to thank Peter Puglise and his team of technicians, Darian, Kevin, Jona, and Dustin, the electrician, for the great job they did converting our evaporated air conditioning system to refrigerated air. The team was very professional. They arrived at the appointed time, were all very courteous, made no messes, and left the house each day in great condition. It was a complicated job and they explained what needed to be done and how they were going to accomplish each task. It was a positive experience from start to finish. They responded quickly to all of the questions and concerns we had regarding the project and the price for the job was comparable to other companies in the area. We recommend Albuquerque Plumbing and Heating without reservation and we will definitely use them again.

Cameron, the service tech, wss actually early for my appointment. He looked over all possibilities for my inside leak, but found the problem on the roof. A small temporary fix was done and I was advised to call my roofer to permanently fix the small problem. Whew! He explained everything along the way and was very professional. Will use them again if the need arises.

There should be a category for persistence, we were having a problem with our a/c that the techs just couldn't find, but thanks to Brian, James, and the two Michaels they didn't give up. We could be suffering during this heat wave, but our heroes found it and fixed it. I cannot express how great the service was and is. Thank you all.

We were unfamiliar with swamp coolers and had the system checked to be sure it was ok. The man was very knowledgeable and professional.Update-they are not like they used to be. Not nearly as good-they’re like any other big company that sends technicians that may not be able to do what is requested.

They were able to do same day service. Cost was not expensive at all and Jeffrey was amazing. One of the best techs I’ve ever dealt with. Definitely recommend.

Being new to town we weren't sure who to call. Glad we called and Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. Arrived as scheduled, Joseph was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He winterized our swamp cooler which is great since we never had one before and performed a check up on our furnace to ensure it's ready for the winter. This company is now on our go to list when we need some work to be done.

Jeff Paisano and Fabeon Mendoza came out to clear my shower drain last Friday. They were on time, professional and got right to work. Once finished they explained everything to me, showed me my shower drain was functioning properly and cleaned up their work area. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Another AC company had been out 3 times in 2 weeks to repair AC which was not cooling properly - was told that I had a leak in the 20 yr old evaporator but labor and parts would be expensive, recommended replacing the 2-ton AC unit. I called ABQ Plumbing for 2nd opinion, they ran electrical and mechanical check to find everything in good condition and replaced two indoor filters, which apparently were causing unit to ice up occasionally. I felt that Marcos and Junior performed work professionally and have every confidence in their ability - will only use ABQ Plumbing for all my future needs.

Seriously, move on and do not use this business. I called from out of State on a rental home I own. I knew the exact problem and already priced an inducer motor, which is a 15-20 job. I tried to get a quote over the phone and of course was told the technician would have to come out and give the quote and since it was after hours, 5:30pm, it would cost $135. My first mistake was calling, the 2nd was allowing them to come out. Once Aaron the technician went over, he verified it was the inducer, which I already knew and then quoted $1000 for repair. Keep in mind this is a $200 part. I refused and still had to pay the $135 for the 2 minutes he was there. Dirty and unethical on every level.

My technician Abdul was very professional, and appeared to be knowledgeable. He managed to spot incorrect fittings on my water heater and advised me that the galvanized fittings would eventually leak. I agreed to have him replace them with brass fittings, and in hindsight, I feel that $250 extra was too much.In addition, my swamp cooler was restarted and new pads were installed upon Abdul's recommendation. The issue I have with my swamp cooler is that the vents that are farthest away from the cooler are not pushing out enough air flow.All I wanted to have done was to have my swamp cooler started up for the Summer season and I got a bill for $503. When Fall comes and it's time to shut down my swamp cooler, I may look elsewhere.

Total communication from the very beginning, appt, tech who will be coming to my house, etc. I read reviews they were 7 years old so I thought I will try.Tech showed up, he called if ok to show up early, of course. When Reyes arrived he had to hear all my concerns. I let him know I was very picky and I like things done correctly and quality and I’m poor.Reyes was very professional he is confident in knowing his job. I hope I didn’t make him uncomfortable. It’s just so scary dealing with strangers, contractors, but Reyes knew his job and put me at ease. I was so glad they sent Reyes. I was really comfortable with him hooking up AC (I just purchased last year) he knew exactly what to do, no mess anywhere, took photos of everything on roof for me so I could see. So appreciate that.I say excellent job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I need a company like Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling. Kurston came out to open our A/C and discovered we needed additional work to have our A/C function to it's potential. Gave an estimate and returned with Drew to complete the work. Both were very professional, courteous and polite. They worked diligently to fix our air conditioner; they kept us informed every step of the way. We were very pleased at their work ethics! AND as an added bonus the job came in under the estimate!! They are an asset to their profession

We had an entire residential water pipe reroute from the concrete slab into the attic. The entire crew was very professional and kept us constantly apprised of what was happening. They laid out options of how the work could be done and were even flexible with how they approached the job when I unexpectedly fell ill on the first day of the project and asked to keep a few rooms off-limits. When offering options, they presented pros and cons in a way that was informative, not “salesy” like some companies.This was a huge project that affected almost every part of the house, but they did their best to be as unobtrusive as possible. We loved having Jose, Dmytri, Pam, and Frankie here every day. They’re very personable and were incredibly sweet with our 4 year-old when she wanted to say hello or see what they were doing.This was one of several large jobs we had Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling perform this year. They try to make scheduling as convenient as possible and are very trustworthy.

Had a weekend emergency on a Saturday. It took until Sunday morning for an emergency plumber to come out. Emergency calls are quite pricey. I’ve used ABQ Plumbing before and they’re very customer service friendly. You can tell they really want you to be happy.

Preston Talbert installed a new water heater for me January 2020. He was on time, professional, and very competent. He completed the job in the estimated amount of time, and came back to conduct the City's virtual inspection. I highly recommend Preston if you want a good job done right.

I was having issues with my washer backing up in my sink. Albuquerque plumbing scheduled an appointment for the next day and the technician arrived as scheduled and went straight to work. Gregory was able to clear the line and did a great job cleaning up when he was done.

Showed me where my furnace was dirty but didn't do any cleaning or any services, just put the covers back on and charged me $90 for nothing. Very disappointed. I pulled the covers and cleaned the system myself that evening. No value for the money spent.

I’ve just had an initial visit for three issues that require attention. They will provide estimates for each.
The two technicians Dimytri and Andrew were professional and provided options to addressing my plumbing issues.

Called them after another company didn't fix the problem. The guy was nice and it seems they fixed the problem. They were really late but no biggy, that's normal it seems with service companies - 3-5 was scheduled. Here for about an hour. Cost just under $140. Mostly labor.

Hot water heater decided to leak just before the weekend. Called ABQ Plumbing Heating & Cooling and they came out within an hour and had my hot water heater replaced and working within a few hours. Responsive, prompt and great employees. Will continue to use them as my go to company.

I was disappointed in Travis, the gentleman that serviced our AC. Our AC went out and we were able to quickly schedule an appointment with Travis to come look at our AC to see if he could fix it. He reported that he could fix it but it would cost about $1300 to do so. He made a temporary repair that had the AC running for two hours before it quit again. We also asked for a quote to replace the system since it is 16 years old. That was a mistake. They quoted me $15,000. I contacted two other AC repair companies that quoted me $10,000 & $9,000. I scheduled another appointment with Travis to repair our AC, $9,000 is a cost I was hoping to avoid for another year. Unfortunately, Travis failed to properly diagnose our system. He never looked at the actual AC unit and when he had already finished replacing parts on the blower, he “discovered” that the coil was also bad. At this point he began pressuring me to apply for financing to replace the system. We also discovered that he had built in extra costs into the bid and was working on a commission that incentivized increasing the cost. He said that we could only get the $1300 we had given him to repair an unrepairable system if we went with his $15,000 bid. At that point I realized that I had not hired a trustworthy company and had been conned out of $1,300. I quickly had him on his way and began working with more reputable companies to figure out how to fix my AC. Do not use Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating and Cooling and especially beware of Travis.

I had 2 valves replaced on 11/20/21 and on 12/10/21 I noticed they were both leaking. I called and initially was told they were out of their warranty. They both had corrosion and you can tell had been leaking for a while (within their warranty period). They ended up making it right and just finished replacing both valves under warranty.

Tech Jason Jaramillo was very helpful and knowledgeable on what needed to be done at my home to bring gas lines up to date with current codes from what was done 12 years ago on initial construction. My family and I are thankful for the service he has provided for us. Great job!!

In the face of an emergency that had the water shut off to multiple homes in a town home complex they responded fast after hours on Saturday. They worked diligently to keep in contact and resolve the plumbing issue Zach did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing, heating, or cooling.

I received the best service from ABQ Plumbing and Heating after my house caught fire and my heater burned in early February. Tanner responded quickly to a Saturday morning call and scheduled replacement of my heater within a few days of my initial call. He and his team worked tirelessly so that I wouldn't be without a heater any longer then needed. My heater was inspected and heat was restored before the next cold front moved in. I have been a customer for a few years now and am always pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of anyone I have dealt with. A huge shout out to Nathaniel as well who worked with my insurance company to get my claim paid!!!! I am a very happy customer and recommend ABQ Plumbing and Heating highly.

Chris was totally awesome! I just recently bought the house and was unfamiliar with maintaining the systems. Originally I had an appointment to get my evaporative cooler winterized and Chris also inspected my furnace to make sure it was ready for the winter. He answered a lot of questions that I had, being unfamiliar with the systems in my house. He was very helpful and made recommendations for ways to get the most out of my systems. He thoroughly inspected everything. Chris and his assistant were terrific.

My ac unit wasn’t working and I called Albuquerque Plumbing and they responded less than an hour. Vicente showed up and did a great job on my ac unit. I highly recommend this company and tech Vicente

I will first say that the plumber that came to my house (William) was professional and that the quality of the work performed was satisfactory. That said, my experience with the billing aspect of Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling is among the most dishonest and predatory that I have dealt with in any business. If money is no object and you don't mind being taken for a ride by the billing department, the level of work performed was professional and satisfactory. However, there are plenty of other plumbers in Albuquerque that are upfront about costs and reasonably priced. I will not being calling this company again and would not recommend their services to anyone. Details below:The plumbers I usually use were not available, so I called APHC for a plumbing repair around noon on a Saturday because a spigot on the outside of my house had failed. I was told that the weekend base price was a $135 diagnostic fee and that parts and labor could be additional cost depending on the nature of the repair. I requested a total estimated cost which they refused to provide, but was assured that additional fees if any would be reasonable costs for parts and labor.William arrived at my house a few hours later and almost immediately confirmed that I would need a new 8 nipple and spigot (within less than 5 minutes). He then told me that I could either pay $135+tax for that diagnosis, or if I wanted him to replace the nipple and spigot the total would be $403.45. At this point I am in a bind, because I can either pay $135+ for nothing or $403.45 for what amounted to $20 worth of parts and 30 minutes worth of labor. In total, William was at my house for less than 1 hour including the billing discussion, etc. The total included multiple fees that were never mentioned over the phone, and the diagnostic fee was not applied to the cost of the bill as in my experience would be typical with this type of work. I called the billing department and was told I had to wait until Monday for anyone with decision making authority to be available. I called back on Tuesday and was told I had to wait an additional week. The manager (Mike) eventually called me back and told me the billing was correct, they bill by the job not by the hour (but have no way of estimating costs over the phone.. hmmmm), there was nothing he could do, and I sounded like I just wanted to complain.What I learned from this experience is that if someone tells you they won't estimate a price, what they mean is you wouldn't hire us if we told you the price up front, so we'll wait until we've got you in a bind to spring it on you

The folks at ABQ Plumbing and Heating completed a difficult job in a very clean professional manner. Replacing an entire heating duct system in an older 2500 sq ft home where some rooms were not receiving much if any airflow. Now all rooms have even air distribution. Thanks again guys!

He gave a very reasonable estimate and quickly performed the work. Vicente was friendly, professional and efficient. The work comes with a 1 year guarantee on what was done. I would call again if I need other work in the future.

Yesterday, our water heater rusted-out and leaked in the garage and through the walls into the house. My wife called me at lunch - pretty concerned to say the least! ABQ Plumbing and Heating responded immeditately and within an hour or so had a plumber and a technician dispatched with a new water heater to our home. Jarod and Cornelius were totally professional and very skilled. Explained what they were doing while they were doing it. Jarod educated us about maintenance not only for the water heater but also for our radiant heat unit, water softener and plumbing system. These guys were great!! Pricing Bait and Switch. Called on Weekend told price would be 120.00 per hour for Saturday service. Told if they came on Monday 80.00 per hour. Had them come on a Monday to replace a sump pump. Pump cost $425.00 Total Bill was $1105.00(not itemized) Tech arrived at 8:20am finished at 12:20 pm had 1 hour of travel during this time frame to get the part. I was charged over $680.00 for 4 hours labor. $170.00 per hour which was more expensive then the quoted price for emergency weekend service. Customer Service Manager says we should have: Re-quoted for Specialist, We should have told you entire price up front for flat rate. We should have told you we we don't charge jobs per hour. But made no effort to readjust to the prices they verified by recording I was quoted.DONT HIRE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS!! They did good work but went out of their way to hide the pricing until it's too late. Made no attempt to honor their quotes. When you call to get answers they tell you they will get back to you but you don't hear from them unless you call back

I would definitely use them again. They were on time and super helpful. I thought the pricing was in alignment with what others would charge. Thank you for assisting in keeping my house cool.

5 stars plus for this company! Aaron Smith came out and replaced a bad AC motor that had gone kaput. He was a wealth of knowledge and took the time to answer my questions and concerns. He came back the next day and replaced the filter and then followed up by phone call that afternoon to make sure everything was running smoothly. Quality, professional service. Will be recommending this company to my friends in the area!

Had work done and still no water. Charged 1500. 00. 3 days with no water and still no hot water tore up my side plane ugh I am senior can't afford 😢 more work.

First technician, Pam, came in and found out that our issue was with draining and she would have to get a different technician to help us. She made a call and had the drain tech, Corey come out to our house. This was all during Christmas Eve. Corey located the problem and explained everything in detail. We converted a hot tub/ jacuzzi into a walk -in shower. A lot of structural and plumbing work had to be done, but, JJ and Rich at Albuquerque Plumbing came out and did it all in one day. They were very professional, courteous and knowledgable. When they left, they had cleaned up any debris , vacuumed and hauled off any trash. Their final invoice was not only itemized but had a pictorial of their work progress throughout the day. I highly recommend Albuquerque Plumbing and will definitely call them again if an occasion arises.

I used Angie's List to look for a plumber and was quite apprehensive based on reading so many negative reviews about how many dishonest plumbers are in Albuquerque. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling called and left a message for me and I called this morning. My toilet wasn't draining, after repeating plunging. Fore Gen Plumbing called and told me their starting price is $129 and I wouldn't find a lower price. They were wrong.This plumbing company quoted me $75 for auger service, from the toilet side. The auger didn't work, so the plumber offered $105 drain cleanout service. When the clog was cleared in 5 minutes, he told me the $105 included a 90-day warranty, free reservice if I have any more clogs, leaks, issues. Corey did an outstanding job, very impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, honesty and integrity. Not only did he call ahead, arrived early, he wore a mask and shoe covers.

Have them come out for maintenance of furnace. Say everything was working fine. Didn’t do anything, just look at it and charge me $130. After they left, my heater would not turn on. Had to call them back. They say the thermostat was set too low, that’s why it doesn’t trigger the heater to come on. They charge me another $100. I never change the settings. So how did it get set so low….

I was extremely pleased with the service by ABQ Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling. We upgraded from a swamp cooler to HVAC in June 2018. We have a two story 1600 square foot house. It was a 2 days job, and I was extremely happy with the service. AND -it's been so so so hot and our house feels AMAZING. Worth every dollar!

Provided estimate after viewing water leak site. Actual work and repair was scheduled for next Tuesday (6 days from estimate and site visit)On Monday 6/20/22, on my request, askedthat Vicente Jaramillo, APHC inspect plumbing to identify if it was Kitec, Manufactured by IPEX Inc. piping before the pipe line is repaired on Tuesday, 6/21/22 scheduling.. Purpose for my request is that if it was identified as Kitec, I would request that instead of a leak repair the work request would be a full blown re -piping since Kitec is defective. Vicente worked in a site visit this same day,.performed the site visit and relieved my concern informing me it was not Kitec plumbing.Previously scheduled leak repair at master bathroom entrance from master bedroom will resume as scheduled 6/21. Thank you Vicente for your prompt attention and plumbing identification as Apex. Timely, respectful response and evaluation prior to actual repair.6/22/22 Thanks to the Staff and Management for promptly responding and scheduling follow up by Rodney Chavez to properly turn on the electrical outlets that were shut off at the panel box after equipment used on the plumbing repair yesterday caused the shut off. Rodney was professional, respectful and explained to me, on my request, what the issue was. I thank him for his honesty and prompt action and for Management to identify it as a follow up without an additional cost.

These guys installed my new heater and AC late last year so really didn't get a chance to test the AC. It broke down half a dozen times this year, but these guys would not give up when I was ready to. They were relentless in finding the problem and fixing it. They went as far as providing me with mobile AC unit until they could get the part they needed.

Travis was amazing! Explained everything clearly, very professional, and answered all my questions. He followed up regularly to make sure I had everything I needed. Unfortunately I went with a competitor because they were cheaper and had a deal running I couldn't pass on. I'm a single parent and every bit counts. However in the future if I run into any issues, he'll be the first one I contact for help to review my options. I cannot thank him enough for walking me through what happened and how to protect my family while I worked through this issue.

The technician came out made a quote to fix water main leak. He quoted a charge of $588 to repair underground leak. This would seem appropriate if they had to dig it up. But it was already dug up exposing the leak and allowing easy access to the leak. It required just 4 foot section pex pipe and a two 3/4 shark bite connectors. This requires less than 15 minutes to fix. This again is charging higher than the work required. Beware of this. I reject their estimate and chose TLC to do the work.

I have a single handle shower valve in my bathroom. It was dripping slowly. I removed the handle, but could not remove the threaded metal cover (see pic) to the cartridge. So, I called ABQ Plumbing.It was one man's job, but two men came. Within around 40 minutes he fixed the leak.--He replaced two little rubber parts, and a nylon ring whose front edge is visible after the cartridge cover is set in. The cartridge has a rubber ring that fits on the metal ball with holes for hot/cold water.--He mistakenly was inserting this ring in the cartridge before putting the ball in the cartridge first, and I had to tell him the right way to do it. He should have know the right way to assemble the valve parts, but I had to tell him the right way.--Additionally, the bill came out to be $290.xx.Of this, if you subtract $65 for his visit, then it is $125. Of this amount if I consider $65 for an hour of labor, then the part cost is $60, which I feel is high, more than double.--I still may use their service in future, and recommend them that they be fair in billing for parts and labor; and not send more men that necessary to do the job.--The attached photo is before the metal cover was removed.

I have a very high efficiency Heil air conditioner. Albuquerque plumbing was able to assess and fix my problem quickly. I also felt that the price was very fair.

Be cautious if things go wrong when they come out to fix the problem you are facing in your home. When they came to my house the tech caused damage to my ac. Long story short it was a battle trying to get them to fix the damage. Ultimately the damage was never corrected and they just gave me the runaround. I spoke with the tech and a manager. Lots of promises to make good on the damage but they never did.Update:I spoke with a different manager recently. The problem was corrected. Mike listened to my complaint, made good on the promise that was made, and exceeded expectations. I would recommend Mike and the associate he had with him. Thank you ABQ heating and cooling for correcting the issue.....I really appreciate it.

We had a tricky repair, which was actually to reroute my entire plumbing manifold. Their solution was innovative and minimized the cost well below competitors. I would use them for any plumbing repairs and will be in the future.

Nicholas replaced two evaporative cooler bearings. Completed project included inspecting, lubricating and turning on the evaporative cooler. The motor required a slight adjustment and he did it without hesitation. If you need a reliable Plummer to repair your cooler these are your people.

I cant say enough good things about this business. With a severe cold front moving in, we were at a loss as to how to light the pilot on our floor heater. Went to Home Advisor. No help there. Went to Angie's list. Perfect. This was on a Saturday night. They sent over Brian. Not only did he do great work but he was just a wonderful person. I highly recommend this business!! Reasonable prices too! Used them again when our heater wouldn't work. Here the same day. Heater works great. We will continue to use this company.

I called Albuquerque plumbing to fix a clogged toilet Michael the technician pulled up some roots when he showed me I asked does that mean I have a cracked pipe he said yes. He got the toilet unclogged and he said it was OK now I asked him how much time he thought I had before it happened again because I had a project going on in the master bedroom bathroom., the toilet was the guest toilet he fixed he also replaced a flapper inside the tank. Anyway he told me it should be OK for awhile for now. I told him I would be calling them back soon to have it repaired. Well the next day I called Albuquerque plumbing back to let them know that the toilet Michael fixed was clogged again if they could come out and fix the clog the technician I spoke to, not Michael, that it would cost 125.00 dollars to come out I asked wasn't the work Michael did guaranteed he said no since they pulled up some roots, I told him I was not told the the job was not guaranteed. He said it's on the invoice, I told him I never saw or got an invoice that Michael was going to email it. I told the tech I was speaking with that I didn't even get a chance to see the email yet and I felt that this was unacceptable because I felt Michael should have told me verbally that the job he did was not guaranteed I knew none of this and they should at least fix it. It was the weekend he insisted that he had to charge again. I was going to call you people back to have the repairs done but now they have lost a big repair job because of their unprofessional job they could have given me the weekend but I will NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND ALBUQUERQUE PLUMBING TO ANYONE because first of all I felt that Michael should have told me verbally when the job was done that it was not guaranteedand why, and second Michael knew I was going to call to set up a time to get the problem repaired by them you think they would have had the courtesy to fix the clog since it was the weekend. Well I just flushed 140.00 dollars for nothing I would have understood ifI would have been told about the guarantee at the time of the job. And here I thought I finally found a plumbing company THAT I CAN TRUST, YEAH RIGHT LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Bryant HVAC system in my home. The air conditioner quit cooling my home, but ran constantly. I called and a service tech, Ben, came the next day. Ben called before he arrived and was even a little early for the scheduled appointment. He was polite, professional and informative. He quickly checked the whole system, found the fault and corrected it within minutes. Ben also gave me tips to increase the efficiency of the unit both cooling and heating. I will definitely use this company and their service in the future.

WOW! Talk about fantastic service! I contacted these folks via Angie's List and they responded very quickly with a per-hour price quote. It was super-easy to get onto their schedule and we received email and text reminders about our scheduled appointment time. Before the service provider (Greg) arrived, they sent me his photo AND a short biography of the guy! What a fabulous idea! He worked very quickly and was finished within about 30 minutes. Courteous, friendly, wore a mask, top-notch service provider!

Work was done within 24 hours of the call. Other companies said they wouldn't work on the heater because of the age. Great work and great people. Very professional job.

This was my go to company for all things plumbing, HVAC, electrical. Until now.Ran into a late night Sunday water heater emergency. They were unable to get to my water heater until the following Thursday (after hours). This was unacceptable...not only would I be paying extra for an after hours service call...I would be without hot water close to a week.Problem solved...went with another company that fixed my water heater the following day and at a reasonable price.

Very professional, personable service from Dymitry. Received a prompt inspection and accurate estimate for an in wall leak on the same day I called. All work was performed the following day, and every attempt was made to remove as little wall/ flooring as possible to save me money and headache. They came in well under the original estimate thanks to this. They were the 4th place I called that day and the first with same day availability. They'll be my first call next time for sure!

Tanner was very professional and was actually able to arrive earlier than scheduled which was great given that being without AC this time of year is not very pleasant. He called ahead of time to give plenty of notice that he was on his way. I had a problem with my Kitchen Faucet. The technician said he went to Home Depot and bought a Meon Faucet. They charge me over $800.00 for the faucet. I looked up the faucet on Home Depot and it was only $254.00. Didn't even give me a receipt. I would make sure to ask the technician what they are buying for you.

Bryan was friendly and fixed our problem qujckly. I was a bit disappointed in appointment schedule as I had set it up so that I would have time to go to work after. Original time was set at 1 pm, they called and bumped me to a 5 - 7 time. I called at 6:30 and to there credit Bryan still came to my home but at 8:30 pm. This cost me a day of work .He found a bad transformer and some mix wiring. Only other suggestion would be to let customer know what issue and cost is b4 repair is done.I would still recommend them.

Came out to repair a swamp cooler on a holiday weekend that was blowing warm. Replaced the water pump and charged me $400. Still blew warm. They came back out and said it was because the pads were deteriorating and clogging the water line. Next day it started blowing warm again and making a grinding noise. Will not have them return.

This is a positive service review and a negative charge review. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling provided a good service on 12/05/2022 in diagnosing and fixing a problem in our gas-fired heating furnace. The two technicians who came out were communicative about arrival time, were on time and were friendly and helpful.BUT the company way over-charged in my estimation. They charged $473 to replace a $50 pressure switch and clean an ignition point. This took them 1.5 hrs. which included a 1/2hr away from the house to pick up the part. There was a separate, additional $105 diagnostic charge for looking over the system and trouble-shooting. (Total bill: $578.) I called to complain about the $473 charge and was initially answered with “I can’t do anything about it. It’s a “flat rate” charge” based on the part. I was told the company would not separate out the labor from the cost of the part. They attributed this to their high overhead, valuable service and guarantee (1 year). When I kicked my complaint upstairs I got a quick response from a VP who separated out labor from part costs and offered me $90 off the charge. I agreed to that but only because I didn’t want to take more time with it.Long story short, if you want good service at a high cost go with this company. If you want a cheaper, non-flat rate go with a smaller more independent business.

We had a water main break and contacted Albuquerque Plumbing based on a referral. Because we lived in the East Mountains, they charged us a fee to come out to quote a repair. The technician who came out could not quote the repairs he recommended. Another technician came out the following day and gave us a quote. They then billed us the travel fee again despite the fact their first technician couldn't meet our needs. The quote, for extensive repairs, was 2-4x higher than their competitors and could not be conducted for 3 weeks. This was a very disappointing experience.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Dallas was very thorough from beginning to end. I have to admit when I first called not knowing the extent of the issue worried it’ll be very costly. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount charged and I will be utilizing this company in the future for my heating and plumbing needs. Both technicians that were here Practiced extreme safety with masks And distancing felt comfortable through the entire process. One last note they also were very prompt and exceeded repair time frame.

Daemen came to repair electrical wiring that we accidentally damaged. He inspected the area thoroughly and was able to isolate and repair the affected area, thankfully before any serious consequences of our home improvement project occurred. I'm also grateful for the office staff that contacted me first thing this morning after receiving the appointment request I'd sent online last evening. You guys are the best !!

These technicians are top of the line experts. They were super courteous, explained in detail the work needed to be done, gave an estimate in little time, got right to work and finished my exterior line repair behind the house wall with no damage to the exterior wall in less than an hour. Look no further for better plumbing services. Over a year ago these folks repaired and replaced all my sewer lines, as well as a re-pipe for an upstairs bathroom, putting in a new bathtub faucet fixture, and removing and replacing an old cast iron drain pipe. They also cleaned up beautifully. Expensive - yes - but all the estimates i got were about the same.Today I had a a downstairs bathtub /shower faucet repaired very quickly and efficiently - I called yesterday afternoon and it was repaired within the hour this morning. This is now pandemic time and the plumber wore a mask and was very considerate and careful to distance as well.These folks are pros and a pleasure to do business with!

Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable and professional from the schedulers all the way to Kurston Kramer who was the technician who came to my house and diagnosed the problem with the heater. He made sure I understood the problem and costs before he proceeded. The company is very non responsive!!!! It took several weeks from the time they showed up at my home to give me an estimate. I had to call several times just to inquire about the estimate. Upon finally receiving the estimate, I called to get clarification and was promised a call back and to date no call. I would not not recommend doing business with this company!!!!

Long story short, they could for $1800 or Jerod explained and showed how turning on the tub for a minute would accomplish the same thing for $0.0. I chose the latter! Great company that put my best interest above their immediate profit. They've got my business for life!

It has been a delightful experience connecting with APHC. they have taken care of our heating and cooling needs for several years and have just started working with us on our plumbing. I could blather on and on with details but will just say that the customer service staff, the technicians all the way up to Anthony, the manager have been cordial, dependable and skillful with every interaction we have had. Jason, who takes care of our heating and cooling, and Greg, who just rescued me from a plumbing tangle are topnotch in every way and a pleasure to see at our door.

Michael and his coworker were both very professional and did exactly what they said they would do. He let me know about each issue that came up, and told me about the way in which it would be fixed. The charge was more than originally expected however he was at my home working from 9:30am to 4pm without a proper break. The original estimate did not include other issues that were found while rewiring and fixing the electric panels and he fixed the HVAC wiring as well. Exceptional service. I plan to use them again to upgrade my electrical system.

I had a situation where my hot water went out and I called the following Albuquerque plumbing and Heating the next morning and they were able to come out and investigate. I thought it might just have necessitated relighting of the pilot light but alas it was a much more complicated problem that took their skill set to identify. Both technicians, Jonah Tarango and Eric Leyba were amazing. And so was Orlando Apodaca who came by subsequent to their initial work to repair a damaged water line to my Evaporative Cooler. All 3 were so polite and capable. They were able to diagnose and thankfully even though it called for an extra trip and parts were able to fix the problem with my water heater. While they were there they also set up my swamp cooler and flushed my water heater (which I doubt was ever done before) it’s a relatively new boiler (2014) but it was filled with gunk. I was very happy and thankful for their service. I highly recommend!

I obtained several quotes to replace the drop for my swamp cooler and APH&C was by far the best quote for the scope of work being done. They were quick to get me scheduled, prompt the day of service and everyone I worked with (Josh, Pete & Dominic) were pleasant, personable and willing to answer all of my questions throughout the whole process. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could!! We had a clogged, slow-draining toilet in our guest bathroom that was giving us a major headache. I tried a plunger, an auger, and drain cleaner - nothing worked. I finally decided to call Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling midday on a Friday. Since it was right before a weekend, I was expecting a long wait time for an appointment. However, the woman who answered the phone was friendly and responsive, and they had someone at my house within two hours. I was given updates and communication every step of the way, from initial quote to location/arrival time of the technician. Robert was friendly, knowledgable, and professional, and had the whole thing fixed in 15 minutes. It's good as new! Cannot recommend this company enough, and will be using in the future.

GREAT!!! work. It's a GRAND SLAM home run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Marcos and his assistant know their job. Had a new Aerocool water cooler installed with a new external waterline connected to a new facet. Except for the boiler box unit they did fabulous job rebuilding the system with new controls, valves, pump, gauges, electric controls. Took hours of extra time to troubleshoot the wiring to the existing thermostats to know they needed to be replaced. Marcos was easy to talk to, answered my concerns and kept me informed of his progress. Gotta say it's GREAT! to have heat in the house after 7 years without it.

Don’t waste your money with this place.We had a water main break recently. I called to get on the schedule knowing it would take a few days. In the meantime, I began digging to locate the pipes.Once we found it, we explained the situation and materials involved. We initially thought our pipes were galvanized steel but discovered they were replaced two years ago with PVC.Orlando kept the same quote that was given to us that included running a whole new pipe through the old one. That service never happened and he charged us nearly $700 for a PVC repair.At the time, we just wanted our water turned back on after not having any for a week so we just ended up paying the full amount.What a waste of money for something we could have done ourselves when all we needed was some help and guidance, which we would have happily paid for, but that was a slimy transaction.0 out of 5 stars.

Leaking pipe is repaired, most importantly. Otherwise I am somewhat disappointed as I had notified them of this water leak on a Friday morning, but they were unable to get to it until Monday, water leaking the whole time. I am dreading my water bill and am upset about all of the wasted water! This repair is immediately adjacent to another repair that they fixed recently, I wondered if it was the same pipe? The repairman worked very hard and informed me that it was a different pipe adjacent to it. Estimated at $1,000. Abut bill was $1,400.

I've used Albq Plumbing on about 3 other plumbing jobs with great results, but for my most recent problem they went out of their way to schedule my HVAC replacement after a problem was diagnosed. I would especially highlight the exceptional performance of both Kurston and Bradley -- from diagnosis to installation. These guys busted butt, worked late hours, were highly capable and very professional in all aspects. They're welcome in my home anytime -- even without a HVAC/plumbing problem!

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother: After calling in advance and sending photos clearly detailing my issue they told me it was a job they could do (under counter mounted sink needed to be remounted); they sent a plumber out who within 2 minutes told me they dont do this kind of work and charged me over $70. When I asked why, when they could have just told me over the phone, he very aggressively said, well I came out!!. I felt intimidated by his overbearing demeanor and so I paid. I will never call these ppl ever again. All I have to say is this guy is lucky I wasnt there when this happened.

I am still waiting for Natsha or someone to get back to me about a service call my 3rd call. I keep being told someone will call me back. I was offer 60 dollars off I want $200.Issue was that I replaced a part that they recommend and it worked for an hour and then my AC stopped again. Told me next it was the compressor which was 3000 total installed. Got a second opinion it was a loose wire at the electrical box. If the AC is turning off periodically shouldn’t that be checked first?After waiting over three week I decided to write this I hope they call me soon to resolve this unbelievable.I even asked the 2nd person how much they would charge to install the box they replaced so I could Ask a refund price that would be reasonable. That’s the $200 difference.So if you want a company that is responsive and fair even after a mistake I would be careful.I will update if Resolved. Maybe they just forgot 2 times.

Our AC went out late last summer. We chose to wait to replace as summer was ending. Little did we know how longer the summer would linger and we were miserable for several weeks. Initially we had another company provide us with an estimate. The technician was honest with us and said only the AC needed to be replaced in order to try to save use some money. His company however did not have a specialist who did that and kindly referred us to Albuquerque Heating and Plumbing. That was a blessing in disguise. Marcos and Aureliano came out on Wednesday and gave us quote to do the work, in fact providing us with three options. I have to include they showed up right on time. We accepted the most affordable for our budget and they showed up on Thursday morning, again on time and stayed through early evening to get the job done,, which they did. when they rebuilt our entire HVAC system from scratch in 2011 we were thrilled with their skill, professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. Sadly our last experience was less than stellar. The said system failed while we were on vacation so we called APHC to investigate and perform 'warranty' work for us. Our house sitter had to take the call. The unit was repaired for a hefty fee without any indication of where the costs came from. Some parts were under warranty..some weren't. When I called the manufacturer to enquire what our warranty covered they indicated APHC was not authorized to do warranty work. So I called to get an itemized list of the work done and was told by the technician that was not an option. We return from vacation to realize that the system was not performing as it should. They sent out the same technician who had no knowledge of my system and proceeded to rewire the unit to perform some troubleshooting which subsequently proved futile. After many hours, phone calls and others involved it was obvious nobody knew what was going on. The lack of expertise and equipment necessary to troubleshoot my system resulted in many lost hours from me and them. Another phone call proved futile; I still don't have an itemized list of parts and labor from the original call, don't know what was warrantied, what wasn't. I'm thinking the bill was so high due to labor from a technician that didn't know what he was doing. Their token efforts to make my day awesome have failed miserably. Anyway such is life. I'll be taking any plumbing, heating, cooling business elsewhere.

In 41 years as a homeowner in Santa Fe, I've rarely had such a pleasant time with a major and expensive project and felt so comfortable about the price (retrofitting our Santa Fe adobe house with high-wall ductless air-conditioning units). The ABQ Plumbing electrician, since he was here anyway, volunteered to have a look at an unrelated, long-standing insolvable problem and succeeded where others had failed. The whole A/C job only took 3 days. We had a lot of men in and out of the house and every one was competent, polite and eager to please--considerably beyond the level I've come to expect. And, boy, are they tidy. One man drilled into the wall while another held a vacuum right to the hole to suck up all the dust. The new units are working like a charm, and we can't wait for the temperature to rise.

I had an appointment between 5 and 7 pm for a technician to come fix the new swamp cooler that was just installed last week because it stopped working. No technician ever showed up I was contacted by the dispatch at 8:24pm and was asked if a technician was here repairing the unit, I said no and was told that they would be here shortly because the original technician was Stuck at another job is what the dispatcher told me. I made another call at 9:27pm and I talked to dispatch once again and stated that no technician has shown up yet. This is NOT GOOD BUSINESS! It Is very hot and I feel I was totally ignored. I have work tomorrow yet I have to stay up because a technician is supposed to be coming. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION and LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY from Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling!! If I could give less than one star I would!

Probably one of the most overpriced and clueless contractors I've seen.On some general HVAC and electrical inspections, they quoted an AC and Furnace replacement as being $12,000. Insane when compared to the competition. They also took multiple measurements of a ceiling fan, yet showed up without a tall enough ladder to get a proper inspection completed.The only service we entrusted them with completing was the replacement of 4 recessed ceiling lights. Again, the contractor showed up with the wrong ladder size and had to come back. Once finally completed, the charge was close to $400. For 4 lightbulbs. Wow.Go with practically anyone else. You'll save time, money and your sanity.

After using several other HVAC/Plumbing companies here in town over the years, I've stuck with Abq PHC for the last few years. They work the hardest in keeping scheduling, dispatch, technicians and billing in sync. On occasion we have had some confusion and even some accidental over-charges and every time they work with me to figure out what's fair. They are professional and are always striving to make their customer experience as great as possible but without charging us an arm & leg.

Johnny was timely, responsive to my questions, and professionally thorough in draining my water heater, shutting down my swamp cooler for the season and checking C0 2 levels in the house. They are new to me so they made a great first impression.

I will probably not use Albq Plumbing again, not that Orlando and helper did not work hard. They did. Things like 370 dollars to do a leak detection that was totally off and still charged me, trip charges when they leave and return. The project started on Feb 10th with detection service that day and could not or would not start work on Thursday or Friday but would work weekend at overtime rates. I'm into them for over 400 so they scheduled the 15th of Feb,, hmm 5 days without water.Orlando arrived at 8:15 Feb 15th it took 6.5 hours to locate the leak after using leak detection services on the 10th which were all off by 15ft. They tore up lots of driveway to locate the leak the old fashion way by hand. Once located the break was fixed in about half an hour. Now the filling and repair of the driveway was less then desirable looking very ghetto and not finished to try and match the driveway. For the cost of the job I would think it would have looked clean after all said and done.

Jerod and Jacob was extremely professional! Jerod level of customer service is the epitome of what companies at all levels need to have. This company is better because of him and provides an increased competitive advantage over others in the industry!

Beware when hiring this companyCalled to have them come out to service our AC unit before turning it on for the season. After a bit of the technician being here, it became clear that he was performing some sort of assessment rather than routine servicing. My husband and I spoke with him about what we had actually called to get set up, and he directed us to his supervisor Nathan. Spoke with the supervisor about this miscommunication and how we felt misled and still have not had the service we actually wanted performed. Nathan told us the scheduling department had made an error but that there is nothing he can do and they “don’t offer discounts”. We weren’t asking for a discount, just to have the correct service performed!They charged us $150, to tell us that they want us to hire them for an additional $2500 service!Very sketchy business practice in my opinion, definitely beware if you choose to go with this company. They will not own up to mistakes or have any desire to work with you on a solution. Disappointing to see this behavior in our community.

When my AC died during a recent heatwave, I was not optimistic about getting quick service. I called several companies and Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling sent someone out that same day. Carlos, who answered the phone, was just terrific and really listened to my needs. He truly wanted to help me.When Kevin arrived, he quickly assessed the problem and gave me clear information about my choices and the cost of each choice. As he began the repair, he explained each step to me. He was professional and pleasant and answered all of my questions. Next time I require service, they will be my first call!

Worst display of professionalism I have ever had. I will not do business with this company and will surely advise others. Techinician was short with me and hung the telephone call up on me. I paid the service call balance via a link he had in his own email he sent me and insisted I hadn't paid because he has no such system; truly incompetent. He must've been upset about making a weekend service call and took it out on the customer.

I just moved here from Arizona and upon moving into my new house I realized the cold laundry valve was leaking. I called this company because I saw they had good reviews on google. Anyways one of their plumbers came out and looked at it and gave me a price of 150 to replace the valve which I thought was pretty expensive compared to some plumbing jobs I had done in az. Anyways I said yes because I just wanted it fixed. Then 5 minutes later he called me in and said he messed up on the price and said it would be $175 and he also told me he might need to replace the whole valve box too which would cost $275. I kept asking why would you change the whole box if I just needed the cold valve replaced but he didn't really give me an answer. This is when I got suspicious he was just trying to charge me more to make more money for unnecessary work. Anyways after about 5-10 mins after that price increase he told me he might have to bump up the price again because he didn't know if he could get the valve nuts off. It seems like if you're an experienced plumber you would have a pretty good idea of what you're facing and not keep increasing the price every couple minutes. Anyways I asked him if he could just try and see if he could get them off before he changed the price and amazingly they came off..... after all that he said he had to run to home Depot to get the valve which I thought was peculiar because he knew coming into my appointment I needed my valve replaced. Anyways when he returned he told me that he could only find quarter turn valves and not full turn ones like I had before. I told him I didn't mind that and he responded that because they were quarter turn though he would have to add on $50 to the estimate... how would that increase the price by $50??? I thought this companys business practices were very shady and deceptive. I will never be using them again. The only reason I give 2 stars is amidst all this bad business practice the plumber that came out was actually very nice to me and my wife besides that I can't say anything good about this company.

I have used Albuquerque Plumbing since I’ve moved to Albuquerque, it’s now 5-1/2 years. They have always been very professional. Their work is excellent and they are very customer service oriented. Mike, the manager , has been very fair and understanding of his loyal customers. And the technicians are well trained and extremely knowledgeable. Outstanding service! After dealing with several sleazy contractors- ha! I bet this is the norm lately- we were pleasantly surprised by the service provided By Alb.Plumbing Heating and Cooling. Justin Ulibarri was a pleasure to deal with: intelligent, professional and really a nice person. Our heater problem was solved easily, Justin told us we don't need to replace a part that other contractors were urging us to have changed! He fixed what needs to be fixed and also replaced the thermostat. We are extremely happy to have found a company that operates based on honesty and respect for the client who does not really know much about the business of cooling/heating.

Awesome company. Came out to my house on time and cleaned out our rear bathroom clog quickly. Very knowledgeable when asking questions to prevent future clogs. I went with them because of the 1.5k plus reviews and almost 5 stars. It's very hard to get people to review and when you see that many reviews over the competition it means people were so pleased with the service that they left a review. I see why. I will definitely be using them in the future.. especially for preventive maintenance.. also one of the few companies that actually answered the phone👌🏼

Orlando and Nathaniel were fantastic! They were prompt, friendly, walked us through the entire, very difficult repair. We would be without heat AND water right now if they didn’t work their butts off today.

On Monday, David came out to fix a swamp cooler we had been having problems with. He arrived on time after a courtesy call to make sure we were home. He proceeded to fix the problem which was not easy. The repairs were done in an outstanding manner and David was very professional and even stayed after a normal quitting time to make sure we were up and running for the hot weather. We will have David do our changeovers come fall and spring. I highly recommend David and Albuquerque Plumbing.

Tanner did a great job. I was not home at the time of the visit, I trust the company and the Tanner to be in my home without me there. May Landlord had bought a Water filtration system at Costco, and had ALBUQUERQUE PLUMBING AND HEATING put it in. After having them put it in the water filtration it still does not work. My landlord wanted a professional. They are overcharging customers, and when there is a problem they blame it on the customers who did not do the work!!!!!! Shame on them!!!!!! I had several sprinkler pipe/valve leaks, the first company I called was not helpful at all. The second company I called was Albuquerque Plumbing. The lady that I spoke to was very welcoming, so I decided to set up an estimate for one of their techs to come out. I was thinking in my head that this is going to cost me a fortune! The tech gave me a price and I was shocked, it was lower than I expected and it included all the labor & parts. I told them to go ahead and repair it.As the process started they began to realize that I had more issues than we thought. They ended up repairing my whole system at NO EXTRA charge. They stood by what they had originally quoted me. I was so please and excited that I would strongly recommend this company!!

Tanner stopped by to give me estimates for two jobs. He was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions in detail. He is very knowledgeable about HVAC issues and suggested a few options for me to consider. He pointed out the pros and cons of each option. I was able to receive the estimate a few minutes after we spoke. I would highly recommend contacting Tanner and ABQ Plumbing and Heating in the future!

Unfortunately, ABQ Plumbing sent a new employee out to service our AC and to clean coils and so forth. The Tech left the job without doing a simple operational function check and left the job without a working unit. We were forced to hire a different HVAC company and the service man got the unit operational in 5 minutes. Since it took a few days to get another serviceman out to check the system we were unable to stay in our house due to the high heat environment with a disabled system that was an easy fix to get it operational once again. ABQ plumbing cost me three nights for a hotel stay and it was completely unnecessary expense if the Tech would have completed the job. I understand there are problems but when the problem is ignored and there is no customer service to rectify an issue. Then all that tells me is the company doesn't care or it doesn't have the skills. And leave a customer hanging with the in operative AC unit that was operational prior to the service call??? Come on Man...

Honestly, I will never use this company again. Heard about them on the radio. Paid to have a service contract. In the year of the contract not once did my filters get changed. Not sure what was done but when my unit went down they wanted to over charge me to fix it. Called another company to come out and fix it and come to find out my unit only went out because the filter was never cleaned or changed. So not only do they over charge but they don't do what you pay them to!!!! I am considering legal action in talks with a couple lawyers. But save your money find a good company to use.

Very polite service when called concerning AC. Albuquerque plumbing and heating installed new AC last summer and pump barely lasted over a year and the price I paid for new pump was WAY overpriced. Technician who came out was polite and knowledgeable. I will look for a local company that is more reasonable in their pricing.

If I could give ZERO stars, I WOULD! Terrible experiences with them from the beginning, 5 years ago.We had just bought a house and had them quote us to replace the entire HVAC system in it. We accepted the quote and then after they began work, we were told their guy had misquoted the price... by thousands of dollars! No discounts given, nothing beyond a worthless apology. After the install was done, the unit wouldn't hold freon, it kept leaking out. They tried to charge us more to fix their poor installation claiming we were responsible for the cost of replacing the freon.We also had them contact the drywall repair for the sections of wall that had to be opened to complete the install work, that was one of the worst drywall jobs I have EVER seen, totally shoddy. The tape peeled, the texture looked like a toddler had done the work... SHAMEFUL!Now, five years later, we find out that the installation warranty is only ONE year, so the water leak in the system is NOT covered! Sadly, because I feel that the company that did the install should service the equipment, I agreed, reluctantly, to pay the diagnostic service fee to have them come figure out what is leaking and why; MY BAD. The person who took my call told me that the price for service on July 4th was double, as it was outside normal business hours, so I told them to schedule us for standard hours service. She told me my service window was between 8 and 10 am today, July 5th, but the technician never showed and nobody from the company ever called to communicate a delay. I finally called to find out that they had double booked our appointment time and was told 5pm would be the soonest they could get someone here. I demanded to speak to someone with authority because I wanted some kind of compensation for THEIR poor service. After being transferred to someone else, I was then transferred back to the person I had just asked to get me someone with authority, and told by her that the service manager said he would get a technician out in about an hour. Here I am, almost three more hours later, no technician, and once again, NO communication from the company!NEVER AGAIN! Worst costumer service experience from beginning to end. Save yourself the money, a HUGE hassle and a major headache... Find ANOTHER company from the get go!

This is the second time I used this company. Both times I had exceptional people and service. They call ahead of time, they send a picture of who's coming over. They are knowledge, fast and reasonable in price. I will definite use them for all of my plumbing or heating needs!!!

What an awesome company! Called first thing this morning to see if I could get someone out to find a water leak between the water meter and house. By 9:00am Peter Chavez and Chico Miranda were here and within the hour found the leak and had scheduled appointment to have it fixed between 1pm and 3 pm today. Joseph Walker and another technician were here by 1 pm. By 4 pm they were done and I had running water again. I can't say enough about the very professional team that Albuquerque Plumbing has. Awesome Job!!! Thanks again!

Expensive, but you get what you pay for with these guys. Joe was super professional and friendly; their automated service was good, and the calls to schedule went smoothly. Installation of a new faucet and garbage disposal went well with no real hitches, and Joe made sure that it worked right. I paid about 1.5x what I was expecting to pay, but the service was phenomenal and the work was excellent. Would recommend!

The best I can say about my experience with ABQ Plumbing is that they drove me to find an excellent, smart, affordable, licensed independent plumber. After receiving an estimate from ABQ Plumbing for $6,346–$9,335 both to repair a leak and water damage in the closet that holds my hydronic forced air unit and to remedy my household's lack of hot water, I was able to find an independent plumber who fixed everything for $1,248.The ABQ Plumbing service tech (I'm not sure whether he was a plumber) basically looked at the install date (fourteen years ago) marked on my hot water heater and said it was time to replace it. He also said that to repair the interior water damage, they would have to rip out my hydronic forced air unit and the plenum (ductwork) that it sat on to repair the water damage to the platform and drywall at the bottom of the closet. He also suggested the option of putting in a new hydronic forced air system, reasoning that I may as well put in a new system with a warranty if they were going to rip out my fourteen-year-old system. So I received a low estimate that included reinstalling the old hydronic forced air unit and a high estimate that included installing a new unit.By contrast, my independent guy told me there was nothing wrong with my hot water heater. The problem was that the builder installed a mixer valve, which sat in plain sight above my hot water heater, so that (as a safety measure) 140 degree water would go to the hydronic forced air system and 125 degree water would go to all interior faucets. The reason I wasn't getting hot water was because the valve was turned so that too much cold water was being mixed in. Simply turning the valve would have fixed the problem, but I opted for his recommendation to eliminate the valve and run 140 degree water everywhere. There was plenty of hot water then and still is many months later.Second, my independent guy said he could repair the water damage underneath everything by suspending the hydronic forced air unit with nylon straps and sliding out the plenum, so there was never a real need to rip out the unit.Overall, this experience was made slightly more egregious by calls I made to their customer service department, whose script is Thank you for calling . . . How can we exceed your expectations? I understand wanting to give great customer service, but not only did this question fly in the face of my experience, but I also felt sorry for the reps who had to ask this dumb and unanswerable question.I had a more basic service on a clogged toilet performed at the house prior to this estimate being given, and the tech that came out did a fine job.

Tanner was professional, friendly and very skilled at his trade. His assistant/ apprentice was also very good (but I didn't catch his name). They worked great as a team and did a good job repairing my heater. This is a good company and I highly recommend them to anyone .

The customer service was great from scheduling the appointment to the completion of the job. The pricing was good and did not exceed the estimate. The plumber was very good and efficient. I have had previous experience with them from another residence and a previous employer and had the same quality service.

I had an emergency at 5am and I called around to see who was available. I called this company back to cancel because another service beat them to it, but it got rescheduled after I cancelled. I hope I don't get charged.

They sent texts including the photo of the technician, the technician called 15 minutes ahead of arrival and also arrived within the times the company provided, and was professional, friendly and explained the diagnosis of the problem. I was very happy with the level of service and the company's care to ensure that its customers are safe in knowing who to expect. Terrific service that included clear communication throughout.

The appt reminder emails were greatly appreciated due to our hectic schedule. I was notified approx 15 minutes before they showed up. Cameron answered all my questions honestly and even told me that the additional electrical circuits that I had thought might be needed to be added might not even be necessary after my electrical panel upgrade was installed, saving me money. We will be scheduling to have the work done in the very near future. Ivan see why they are so highly rated !

Have used Albuquerque Plumbing for many years for our house and rental properties in the past but that stops today. They said it was a $89.00 service fee to look at a swamp cooler at one of our rental units.. Technician said they needed to replace barring and adjust pully and maybe motor and it would run $1,150.00. A new swamp cooler to replace would only cost $399.00. Then when I told him the price was too high for the repair he charged another additional $100.00 for diagnostics. Price for repair was OUTRAGEOUS!

Our initial assessment and bid by Josh Miller was fair and timely. Our radiant heat was failing and we had to decide between forced air heat & AC combo units or 10 electric heat pumps (mini splits). In a three level home the best solution was to go with two units to feed old swamp cooler ductwork and add additional return air and heat vents for heat and AC.Peter Puglise and his crew including Erik, Darion and their supervisor JP did an incredible job of designing, installing and adjusting the system, airflow requirements and adding heat to rooms that had not had any of either in the last six years. These guys were very professional and knowledgeable of what would work and to balance three levels and 3300sf. They were all polite and did an awesome multi-week job! They were creative enough to figure out the best gas line and electrical sources to supply the two units on the roof without affecting aesthetics of the lines up to the roof or the ductwork on the roof visible from the living room.

I called them back out to my review a previous service call. They replaced a gas valve on Tuesday and when I turned it on last night there was a high pitched tone. They charged me $140 service fee to ensure my safety after servicing a gas appliance. When I called to describe the issue and arrange for the visit they did not tell me there would be a fee.

Once again, the quality and professionalism by the representative - Abdul in this visit - was exceptional. I highly recommend this company for all your home repair needs. They respond within the time set, sometimes earlier, and provide the best work.

My parents have been using them for years, on and off with no issues. They used them to switch over the swamp cooler this last spring and were told that they needed new pads. They wanted to charge over $300 for just the pads. So my parents purchased the pads themselves for a little over $100. They then called Albuquerque Plumbing & Heating to get an estimate on the installation of the pads. The lady in the phone told them that she couldn’t give them an estimate, that it would require a tech to come out for $90 and then the tech would provide the estimate. Considering they were the ones who told my parents about the pads in the first place, that is completely ridiculous, especially when money is tight right now. The lady on the phone didn’t seem overly bothered when my father informed her that he would be going somewhere for all future plumbing needs.

We had two AC units and a furnace installed in the spring of 2021. The installation was performed by two very young , but nice technicians. Unfortunately we have had 3 issues since the installation. The issues while under the first year of warranty were addressed rather quickly. However the plaster repair for water damage and rerouting wiring was never repaired. I ended up repairing it myself. Recently our upstairs a/c unit stopped functioning. Since then we have had at least four different attempts , over 4 weeks without an identifiable cause. Finally the supervisor came out. He informed us that it is well known that the batch of Amana units which we have are known to be defective.It seems like the initial technicians should have known about this but instead performed multiple unnecessary expensive tests. So far we have rearranged our schedules numerous times in order for one of us to be home when a technician comes out. So far they have canceled on us at the last minute a couple times. this company has a wonderful reputation, which is why we chose to trust them. So Going into the 3rd summer with a “relatively brand new” system, I’m quite disappointed to report that it’s not working.

A component on our new water heater failed. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling got someone to our house the same day. William Kleinstiver diagnosed the issue and confirmed the component would take significantly longer to get than an entire new water heater. They replaced the water heater (under warranty) two days later and we've had no further issues. We're impressed by Will's knowledge and his work is super tidy.

Travis, Travis, Travis was the main reason why our experience with ABQ Plumbing was so great. There were many other folks at this company who were great, but the majority of our communication/work was with Travis. He was SUPER professional. The right mix of professional and friendly. Some folks don’t know how to behave when they are working on your home, in your private space (bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) - but he did - again the perfect mix of professional and friendly. There was one tiny, baby glitch, but the manager got on the phone with me, apologized, told me what happened and told me how she was going to fix it. CANNOT ask for more than that. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how they are corrected that matters, and she was fantastic. Very happy to have them on our go to list for all plumbing and HVAC needs. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

We could not find the Clean outs so he had to go through the roof. it was a 3 hour process with changing blades and adding line to go down. But Jeffery was tenacious, and worked at it. Finally we saw results - he was pleasant, polite, throughout the entire process. He also gave me some great tips and recommendations for maintenance, and suggested that if i cannot find the cleanouts - to have some installed. i really appreciate being able to get an appointment the same day that i submitted the request. Leonard Graham from Albuquerque Plumbing did a phenomenal job repiping the gas line on my aunt’s house. Additionally, he brought several appliances up to code and replaced the water heater. Leonard explained what he was doing throughout the whole process. He also thoroughly and patiently answered all our questions. I also dealt with the office staff on many occasions and was treated respectfully and courteously every single time. Dumped some interior paint down my bathtub drain. ( Learned from that mistake lol) Called these guys after TLC tried and missed my 2nd appointment. The guy on the phone was fantastic and very personable. These guys got my clog out in 10 mins. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I've used your electrician services. Daemon was great. He explained the issues and each of the possible outcomes. He was polite and professional both to me and his coworker.You guys have a great group of employees and I stress a little less when I have a home repair I can call your company to fix.

We contacted ABQ Plumbing, Heating & Cooling to get a quote to install a ductless HVAC system in our home. They scheduled an appointment to survey the job and Josh Miller, one of their Home Comfort Advisors, showed up on time and quickly surveyed and quoted the job. He was extremely professional and clearly understood the complexities of installing ductless in an adobe home. We were impressed enough that we signed a contract right away.Work was scheduled to start a couple weeks later. Peter and Cameron were assigned as the primary installation team. We can't say enough good things about them and the work they did. The job took eight days to complete. They were super polite and conscientious throughout. They reviewed what they were doing with us every day, were open to input and making adjustments to the plan, worked around our schedule, did high quality work, and strived to minimize dust and clean-up after themselves. The process was smooth and we're incredibly happy with the end result. Thank you Peter and Cameron!

Called a few weeks ago because our heater stopped working. Was unable to get an appointment for several days. Once they finally showed up I was told that they could try and fix my heater for around 2k but there was no guarantee it would work. The recommendation was to replace the entire thing. I was provided with two quotes for new units and neither of them contained any indication of what brand or model the units would be. I was later told this was due to technical issues and received a verbal commitment that I would receive that information by the next day. I never received this information and wound up calling another company who showed up the same day and were able to fix my existing unit for about half the 2k I was quoted here.

No heat on a Saturday called and had Ben come out on a Sunday. Ben was excellent very professional, knowledgeable and had a great attitude for being a Sunday. He went above and beyond COVID precautions my wife needed to feel comfortable. He took the time to show me and explain what was going on or went wrong but he needed more time though to do a full evaluation of the rest of my system so he offered to come back free of charge to give me a good and explained estimate for the other things that weren’t an emergency.

No surprise the furnace motor went out in the dead of winter. I must admit they were not my first choice, but other companies were days out. I give Erik Lebya 10 stars for doing an excellent job, and making sure our old furnace was perfectly safeto use before he left.I also give the gentleman I spoke to making the appointment for being so nice, honest, and up front with me, he gets high marks also.It was little expensive but they came right out, and I know I got a good motor. The very old furnace is runnng great now.

I am a travel nurse and have no experience with swamp coolers. Mine has been blowing hot air and was super appreciative for this company’s advice over the phone about the swamp cooler. Luckily, I did not need to use their services because my landlord came over and troubleshooted the swamp cooler. But thank you for talking with me and confirming that something was wrong.

How can a major appliance install possibly be fun? Hire this company to find out. Jose and Dimitri removed a standard water heater and replaced it with a tankless one over the course of two days, making course corrections as needed to accommodate a gas and other situations that emerged. I especially appreciated their attention to detail, ability to work clean, and very good humor.

My central evaporative and a water heater died the same week! Pam at Alb Plumbing took the time to do 4 different quotes, so I had all the options. She also ran over at the last minute to drain the water heater so it would stop leaking while I sifted through the $ options. Pam and Justin knocked both out in almost exactly 8 hours just like they said they would, too. They are knowledgeable, commucative, and friendly!

Josh, Andrew, and Max did a great job on my HVAC installation and are really nice guys! If you have any problem, talk to them. They are very customer service oriented and will work with you to make sure you are satisfied with the work they do. Also, everyone I interacted with at the office was helpful and courteous.

After paying $80 for a quote to fix my heater, we were told it was going to cost around $600 to fix, and that may or may not fix the issue. When my husband came home that night, he found the damper had slipped, or been out of place, causing the heater to sense it was overheating. He put the damper where it should be, reset the heater, and now it's working fine. Glad I did not go with the $600 fix when it was just the damper needing moved.

I have to say that Ben provided capable, professional servicing of my heating/cooling system. He ran into some difficulties because my particular manufacturer wiring was not in a standard (wrt to other manufacturers) configuration. Ben persevered and worked with the manufacturer's helpline and was able to get my system up and running. He was polite, explained what was going on at all times and I was impressed by his professionalism. My only issue was with a snippy administrative office manager; fortunately, Ben's great service overshadowed that interaction. There was another team member who worked on my home, but I did not interact with him.

We are very impressed with Albuquerque Plumbing. We appreciated the ease and efficiency of scheduling the appointment, the use of technology to not only confirm the appointment but to provide information about the technician, and the excellence of the work performed by Daniel Hartford. Daniel quickly diagnosed the problem, had the parts to fix it on his truck, made the repair, and cleaned-up the work area nicely. He is a customer service focused professional. All in all, a very good experience!

We had to have our piping completely redone throughout our home. They did an excellent job. Very professional, cleaned up afterward, and all of our many questions were answered. I didn't hesitate to have them come back out for our ac/ heating unit inspection. Andrew came out this evening for the inspection and did an exceptional job. Even though he came out for such a late appointment, Andrew took his time to make sure the inspection was completed properly.

We had an unequivocally positive experience.Our air conditioner died just in time for a heat wave. Willby genuinely cared about our situation and did some above and beyond things to get our situation taken care of as quickly as he could.He was courteous and professional and - bonus points - even a fascinating conversationalist.

Pete and Chino arrived within a half hour of me calling ABQ Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling to remove and replace a broken shower cartridge that was stuck. Within an hour of arrival, the job was completed and the shower was functioning again! So pleased I called and grateful for the prompt service when I realized I couldn’t do it myself (and had to keep the water off to the house until the repair was complete due to my failed attempt).

We had a very good experience with our sewer repair. Great people, great service, excellent and complete advice. Highly organized, too. When the digging turned out to be easier than expected, out final price was substantially less than the quote.

Furnace kept blowing fuses. The tech said it was a bad control board causing the short. For over $800 they fixed it, for a day, then the fuse blew again. When we called, they charge an additional service fee to come look at it because in their words, the problems were not definitively related. They found a couple wires where worn and shorting together, which once repaired, stopped the shorting and the fuse popping. I give two stars because the company ultimately fixed the issue, but I'm pretty sure I was sold an expensive control board (plus labor) that I did not need. This company seems far more interested in up-sells than helping people understand and fix their appliances. They were certainly eager to recommend a $10,000 upgrade to my system than to come back and find a short. My advise is to find someone else.

These guys did an amazing job fixing a water leak I had in the wall of my master bathroom! Fast friendly service and had it fixed in no time... Cameron even answered a bunch of unrelated questions I had about water softeners, shut-off valves and water heaters being that it was a new house to me and I didnt know the locations of some things! I highly recommend these guys and I hope I never need a plumber again but if I do, I know who to call!

I've been using Albuquerque Plumbing heating & Cooling for years. My first call was for a gas leak, my second for a water leak, and now a toilet replacement. All three times they arrived when scheduled, did excellent work, and they did not charge a fortune. I'll continue to call when I need professional work done.

Don’t use this company WARNING!!!!I had my condenser removed so that they can roof underneath it and then reconnected. It has not worked properly since they touched it. They promised to make it right but once they got paid I never heard from them again and my cooler is still not working correctly so do your research before you hire these people because they have amateurs working for them Who are great at making excuses. I already know that anyone who has had work done by them has had to pay more than they expected. PS they NEVER contacted me.!

Placed an request for a service call as my heater was not starting and my water heater were making some weird noises. Was expected to see a technician sometime the end of next week. Even after calling 5 other companies this was my earliest option so I went ahead and booked an appointment. I was even able to get just one with a cross certified technician so both heaters could be looked at, at once.Woke up a day later with a call asking if I would be open to doing it today, guy came in easily diagnosed my furnace and water heater and fixed their problems. Told me that he had pushed the AC repairs back in favor of doing heating repairs today as it was pretty much cold as all hell right now. Really appreciate the company and tech for doing so and am now able to be all nice and cozy.

Courteous, friendly, professional and prompt. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. The first was a number of years ago for a plumbing issue. We would definitely use them again!

I called at 8:30am. A plumber was scheduled from 1-3pm. The plumber called and came early. The problem was identified and repaired by 12:30.

Completely ran through a red light at Coors and Montano, no signal lights changing lanes all the way down Montano and fourth Street all while exceeding the speed limit. I guess if you want the fastest service ask for truck # 54!

Daniel was prompt and super professional. He was a straight shooter and helped us get our system setup correctly. The original installer took short cuts and Daniel updated our system to a proper install.

Asked them to come out to get a quote to install a new shower. Guy came out, took pictures (no measurements) then I didn't hear for 2 weeks only to finally get a call that they needed to coordinate with all the people the subcontract with. Still no call into the new year. Now that I see everything is subcontracted, I can have people do the same thing. Doubt I'll get a call back but definitely wouldn't go with them if they ever do call back. Maybe they should just stick to fixing plumbing issues.Update-Manager came out after this review and did measurements. Said I would have a quote in a couple of days. A week later still waiting. No thanks.

Very professional and helpful. They just now finished the new ceiling lights. Lights are good but where switches were put in the wall, there was damage to the wall done by them. Cameron said they would need to call someone else to fix it and there could be another charge! What?? We will fix it ourselves but not professional. Also a hole in the closet wall where they were drilling! Wow. Very disappointing!

This company is a blessing. At the start of the heating season and all plumbing companies were backogged 2-3 weeks. I had a water heater emergency that couldn't wait three weeks, they freed up a tech to come and fix it for me same day. Highly recommend these folks.

Listening and then asking all the right questions making sure she understood my needs. THE NEXT DAY, which is today, they showed up ahead of schedule, waited patiently for me to arrive. This was the ABSOLUTE worst company to use. We were suppose to have two technicians to complete this 2 hour job. Only one showed up, the other showed up late. They were hired to use a jetter to unclog our drains. Simple enough, but when these professional plumbers came out, they watched our business flood with hazardous waste. Not only did they watch it flood, they stood and watched my husband and I desperately trying to MOP this up with ONE MOP AND ONE BUCKET. I even had high heels on at one point!!!! Never once did they offer to help clean or even suggest something to help us with the mess. Later, we had my son bring a wet/dry vacuum from our home. My husband attempted to soak up as much as possible as I tried moving our important valuables from our BUSINESS out of the path of toxic sewer water. One technician was taking either video or pictures as we were mopping! The NERVE!!! We were not prepared for this. We did not even have proper cleaning gloves or gear to protect us from this hazardous waste. Not once did they ask us not to touch or get near the sewer. UNBELIEVABLE!! We had Fleming Chemical janitorial supply company come and they brought their KAIvac machine, cleaning supplies, dissenfectants, gloves, mops, etc. and they took over immediately! It was a MADHOUSE! The two technicians were conveniently outside drinking their water while we cleaned up THEIR mess!! Soon after, they came in with the bill, (which was OVERBILLED) and with a CLEAN UP FEE!! What??!! My husband asked them how them planned to clean up and the technician mentioned that he had a Dry/Vac machine in their VAN!! REALLY??!!! You mean they had what could have PREVENTED ANY OF THIS MESS in their VAN???!!! What is wrong with these technicians???!!! I am ABSOLUTELY APPALLED by this company. Good luck to them in the future. This was just a summary of our nightmare-there is so much more!!

This Company did a very good job with our plumbing needs the second time around. Had a loose toilet that was giving us an issue. Tech came out and was very knowledgeable with how to fix issue. Very pleased with the result.

The company sent me a photo of the repairman so I could be assured of who would be performing the repair.Mr. Talbert was professional, ID himself, reviewed what was the concerns, stated what had to be done & explained the company warranty on the service call. He also gave me an approximate time frame for the repair. He exercised patience & explained the procedural steps when I had questions. Prestion was personable, ensuring the area was clean, dry & neat after the repair. He asked if I had any questions or concerns after the repair.I was very impressed with the promptness of the call response, service person (Preston Talbert) & charge for repair. I will call this company again for repairs. I highly recommend.

The AC in our new home started to struggle after I installed a new filter. The team at ABQ Plumbing identified the issue and fixed the air flow. Our AC system is a bit older but running like new now that we had professional service from knowledgeable technicians.

This was a second call for an issue that needed to be re-diagnosed. Orlando (second technician) listened and was thorough. He represented the company well to ensure the issue was solved correctly. We really appreciated this when addressing a serious problem that needed professional attention.

First I would say that the 2 technicians who finally came to the house did a fine job. But the office staff did not do such a fine job. It took 3 appointments to get this repair job done. First appointment was on 12 JUL 23 anytime between 1-3pm. They were a no show. Made next appointment for 17 JUL 23 to have 2 items addressed; 1 estimate & 1 repair. The technician showed up but only did the estimate. He stated that his work order only listed the estimate. He did not have the parts to make the repair. Made another appointment for 1-3pm on 24 JUL 23. Again no one showed up. When I called the office, the gentleman told me I was still on the schedule but from 3-5pm. I corrected him and after a brief “on hold” he stated that the technicians would be here in about half an hour. It appears that this is a relatively small company who takes on too many jobs. Either they don’t have enough staff to complete all the jobs or their scheduling people are not competent. Needless to say, I will not be using this company again.

Came out and didn't fix problem. When we called to have them come back to fix the issue they wanted to charge us again after charging us $400 the first time. Didn't want to honor or warranty their work, now we will have to pay someone else to come out again.

I have used Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling for several projects at two different homes and each time they have provided professional service. They are prompt and prepared to complete the work. Several times they have helped with issues w/o charging. They installed my heating and cooling system and did an excellent job. Staff and technicians are very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

To make a long story short, we had a really horrible company through our home warranty company come out last year to repair our HVAC and it ended up going out again this year in the hottest week of the year. We reached out to ABQ plumbing and heating for an emergency consult and Marcos came out at the scheduled time. He was upfront and honest about our HVAC system that it needed replacement. He made sure to test our furnace which was working well, so we only needed the AC unit. We were planned to go to Arizona the day he came out to work on it and had our in-laws coming out the same weekend to stay at our house x 2 weeks. He understood our dilemma and he worked it out with his team so he could come the following day for installation. He and his partner got to the house at 11am and worked until 9pm installing the new unit and repairing old damage from the previous company. I have nothing but praise for his hard work and willingness to work things out so we could have cool air again and not have to sleep in our room at 96 degrees. This guy deserves a raise because he honestly went above and beyond and fit us into the schedule when the company was booked out and his work was fantastic. I don't know if you're allowed to request repairs from a certain worker, but if you can, go with Marcos Pacheco because he will go above and beyond.

We used them to service our HVAC and make repairs when necessary. The company damaged our unit while attempting to repair it and tried to charge us over $11,000 to install a new one, after they had damaged ours beyond repair.We hired another company to replace the unit that ABQ Plumbing damaged. The company we hired only charged us $7,500 to replace the unit. A $4,500 difference from what ABQ Plumbing & Heating was trying to get from us.This company is overpriced and does not stand behind their work.I highly suggest you stay away from them and call other companies.

I am a recent customer, I switched from another company. I have since used them to install a kitchen faucet, repair/replace a toilet and install a furnace. Their professional is top notch, I am comfortable with the technicians in my home as they observe public health protocols. They are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. My most recent visit was with Aaron smith and he was training an apprentice technician. I was thrilled to see the investment in upcoming professionals in this field as we have sore need of them. Their rates are reasonable, availability of appointments is exceptional and I never feel like a bother. I highly recommend this company as they are locally owned and invest in the community.

Emergency repair of leaks caused by another contractor.Cameron came to our home to fix some issues that were related to another plumber we had hired. The previous plumber had left us leaking with a failed Washer and Dryer Box at 11pm on a Saturday night . Yes, we paid premium rates (understandably) for the repair. Cameron was professional in every way. He explained what he was going to do, told us what it wold cost and did the work in a timely and efficient manner. Very grateful for our experience. I called and scheduled a quote. I wanted a simple hookup from a gas meter to a mobile home. Even though a mobile home had been there previously, they quoted $2,900 for the job. Absolutely ridiculous!

Had issues under my sink so I tried these guys. Expressed that I wasn’t liking the existing type of material (plastic type pvc with thread n flanges at every joint). They kept it the same and put in new ones. Same setup. Service was done in January. It’s now April 3 and it has come undone again. Called them and it would be 2 days to come out and fix their mistake. I scheduled it and the next day they called and said that time slot was not available all of a sudden. Not impressed at all. Worst part is, they “have” to send the same technician that messed up in the first place.

The person scheduling the appointment for heating repair was courteous and professional, assisting me with verification of their state license, and assuring that the appointment was conveniently timed. Our technician, Brian, was professional, prompt and thorough providing a complete assessment of our heating system and multiple options from the least expensive and quickest to the longest lasting. Decision not yet made. Aaron was polite and professional. He went above and beyond to make certain my appointment was not cancelled due to Glitch in communication.

I had the main drive pulley and belt on my swamp cooler, that they installed, fail after 2 seasons. I called them on a Saturday to come fix it. They quoted diagnostic fee of 135. Fine. Tech gets here, tells me it will be over $400 to replace a pulley and a belt. I replied the pulley is $13 the belt is about the same and it's less than an hour of labor. He said it is what it is. Not only must they have installed it wrong to begin with for this to fail the way it did, but then to charge $400 for an hour of labor. What a joke. Never again.

Daniel and this company was a godsend. As a first time home buyer it was frightening to come home to a leak from the second floor. The dispatcher was very helpful and efficient with taking my information and having someone dispatched. Daniel was AMAZING! He is very charismatic, information and efficient with his work. He put me at ease and I will only contact this company should I need service in the future.

Technician: MIke FordWent above and beyond when working on the job. He and his crew were very straight forward with their answers and did not hide anything from me. Even when they broke some of the glasses in my kitchen they were up front about it and even bought me some new ones. Their work was neat and efficient and they did a great job.

My father is disabled and unable to fix his garbage disposal himself due to his heart condition, we called abq heating and plumbing and set up an appointment to have them come fix it. We had the garbage disposal (that needed to be installed), all they provided was the elbow to fix the leak, and it took them less than an hour to fix (it's not fixed, it's still leaking) and they charged $465 (they charge $65 just to come out and look at your issue and don't absorb that cost even if you give them the work)! I know prices have gone up, but I called another plumbing business just to see what the cost would be and they said $120 (plus parts) per hour. This is ridiculous to be price gouging customers like this.  I feel horrible for recommending them to my parents (because they fixed our outside faucet last year) and having them charge so much for sub par work.

The person on the phone was great. She told me that the plumber would have a camera to scope the inside of our lines and locate our clean out but when he arrived he didn't have a camera, could not locate the cleanouts and he barely snaked our line which cleared for the night and a couple days. Then clogged up again. Basically a waste of money. I rented a snake for $50 and cleared the line perfectly myself but still don't know where the clean out is located on my property. I hope they contract better plumbers for others.

We picked Albuquerque Plumbing and Heating because they had done work for us before. They installed a new air conditioner unit for a very reasonable price. Before installation they worked with us concerning our Covid-19 concerns. The two workmen who did the installation did an amazing job. They were professional ,courteous,and efficient. I would strongly recommend this company. We will use them again.

We had no usable toilets on a Sunday morning and Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling came out within 2 hours of my call to get the job done! Shout out to Jeffrey he was knowledgeable,courteous, professional, and respectful of our home. Thank you so much! We will definitely be using you all again when/if the need arises.

We've had Jason Jaramillo as our technician twice and he's very amiable, professional, and knowledgable. He always comes to me and explains anything he's gonna do, what it costs, and what options we have before he does anything. Also a plus, my dogs and cat like him. If he is an example of the other technicians, I would highly recommend this company. Plus they have a membership sort of deal that can give you discounts on certain services.

Circuit breaker in garage was intermittently tripping. Scheduled appointment and received confirmation email for 3 PM on Monday, 3/4/2019. Receive call at 9:26 AM that technician is at my door. They mistakenly set the appointment for 10 AM. No problem, I took leave from work to meet them. They conducted somewhat superficial inspection concluding that there may be an overload (15-amp circuit) and that one of the connected appliances was culprit. They measured amps being pulled by only one appliance (mini-fridge at 4 amps) and concluded it must be the cause. I permenantly unplugged fridge and they installed new circuit breaker. They also closed off an outlet on a different circuit that was connected to a light switch in a different room (previous homeowners feculent install). Charge was $96.55; they did not charge for the new circuit breaker. I head back to work. Return home around 4:30 PM and circuit breaker has tripped again. I call Clayton (service tech) at 4:46 PM and ask him to advise. We conclude that I should systematically diagnose each appliance on my own to see which could be causing overload. I do so and determine that no matter which single appliance is plugged in, the circuit breaker still trips intermittently. I call Albuquerque Plumbing at 10:59 AM on Wednesday, 3/6/19 to request either a refund or to have technician diagnose further. Customer representative states that if they send out a tech, they charge an hourly fee of $110 no matter what, even though original diagnosis was seemingly not thorough nor conclusive enough to perform the work that was done. I state I will have a different company perform diagnosis and representative responds that if another company alters work performed by Albuquerque Plumbing, it will void their warranty (which makes sense, but I’m not concerned about a warranty on work that didn’t resolve the problem). I have a gentleman named Joe Wojcik with Powerhouse Electric come to diagnose. He spent 2.5 hours diagnosing everything on the circuit very thoroughly and was very professional. At the time, we thought cause was a loose connection at GFCI outlet. Charge was only $75. Ultimately, this didn’t resolve the tripping breaker. After posting initial review of service, Albuquerque Plumbing called and asked if they could come back out to diagnose further at no additional cost. I agreed. They spent about 1.5 hours diagnosing the circuit and all connections thoroughly but were still unable to reach a confident conclusion. We parted company under the impression that one of my tenants must be plugging in a malfunctioning appliance on occasion that is shorting and tripping the breaker. About 15 minutes after they leave, the breaker tripped while I was standing in front of the panel. This was perfect because I was able to determine that no one was using any appliance on the circuit at that time. knowing this, I was able to unilaterally diagnose certain lines on the circuit by disconnecting them and waiting to see if breaker trips. I believe I have isolated the problem cable on the circuit and will have it replaced.

Reyes Tafoya, our plumbing technician, was professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, an incredibly hard worker, and actually loves and takes pride in his work! we would recommend him and his company highly.

Dino saved the day (and my sanity)! My Dad had pneumonia and was just discharged from the VA Hospital today. When we returned to his room at The Woodmark, his heater was broken and would not stop blowing cold air and the fan just would not shut off. I am certain my Dad would have suffered if it hadn’t been fixed. It wasn’t an easy or quick job, but Dino stayed late and got it done. I’m more grateful than I can ever express! Thank you Dino!

This company is exceptional! I had an issue getting a competitor out here for over a week. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling came out today with no prior appointment and fixed the issue within an hour. Their price was very reasonable, and I will welcome them back to maintain my heating and cooling in the future!

This place is more concerned with selling you thousands of dollars worth of services instead of addressing what you called them for. I called for a leaky shower faucet. Before even looking at the leak, they said I need to replace my water heater, replace my piping, and it's going to be $4100 just to repair a slightly leaking shower faucet because of it Then they said they wanted to replace the water heater because it's old, even though it's working fine. They were worried that when they moved it to get to the access for my plumbing it wouldn't work correctly when they put it back. This company is a scam, and they charge you to go out and waste your time. Better off going with anyone else, from a local handyman to TLC, at least you're more likely to get someone with integrity and who will look at your actual issue before trying to sell you everything under the sun even though that's not what they're there to look at and those items are working just fine.

For all friends that live in and around Abq.I just paid $363 to Abq plumbing to remove a piece or our garden tub and look inside and tell me it will cost $800 to CHANGE THE FAUCET HARDWARE.not to use any of the “in their words” 600% mark up on parts they are facing.When I called to complain and get a 2nd opinion I was told that I was not a customer they should try to help and they put me on a “do not service” list.So if you want extremely bad customer service. Even more rude management and want to spend several hundred dollars for half of a job. These are your guys!!

We had a blockage in our main sewer drain. I called another company first who scheduled me for service 3 days later, but put me on their urgent list to be contacted IF there was a cancellation throughout the day. We can't go 3 days without flushing! I called Albuquerque Plumbing next, it was 8 am and they literally booked me for an 8-10 am slot. The tech, Robert, called before he arrived, he was kind, professional, respectful, and transparent. I requested another service that I'd been meaning to do but forgot, and he had no problem adding it on to the visit. He was done by 9 am!! Outstanding service! We will absolutely use these guys again in the future.

Excellent. Puctual, professional, listened, friendly. Bradley showed me what he will do to fix cooler. I can't climb a ladder to the roof so he took pictures of what was wrong and sent me. He even cleaned up the parts the original installer left to rust on the roof and disposed of them. That was the extra mile. Also, showed me how to clean my baseboard heaters myself. It's easy! Hired them to service cooler and check baseboard heaters twice a year. Recommend highly.

Justin and Kevin were super. On time, worked steadily, did not make a mess. Overcame some obstacles left from the old furnace installed in 1987, and fixed them right away. Explained what they were doing, while I kept asking questions since it had been so long since the last furnace installation. I would use them and ABQ Plumbing & Heating again.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WORKMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN ANY TRADE!!! This company put a small waterline in my moms back yard. Back in February they installed a union which was cross threaded causing a leak that wasn't noticed until last month (October). Talking to some journeyman plumber friends of mine it is against code to install a union under a concrete slab like that, but they did it anyway. After exposing the cross threaded union its obvious that they didn't turn the water back on before they backfilled or they would have caught that leak but instead they just let it leak for 8 months until the water started to submerge out from under the concrete. When that happened my mom called them to honor the warranty and find out what was leaking. She was told that it would cost her over $500 just to get someone out to look at it. She then called me balling her eyes out so I stopped by to turn the water off to her house and had to bust up the concrete, dig up the leak, bail buckets of water out for a few hours and expose the leak which was the cross threaded union that they installed. I did a quick repair with a couple shark bites and polly pipe just to get her water back on. My mother spent the next few days fighting with them to honor the warranty and come fix it right. It took that long to finally dry out anyways from all the water built up under the foundation of her house and concrete slabs in the back yard. They finally came back out to honor the warranty, repaired it properly (I hope) backfilled it and then poured the ugliest looking concrete slab I've EVER seen. I'm pretty sure that was on purpose. Now I've been trying to contact them the past 25 days to come fix that slab but I have gotten ZERO response. I will never use them ever again and I encourage everyone to stay away from this poor excuse of a company.

Had a very intricate air duct issue that had completely rusted out due to water damage. Woke up yesterday to some wet carpet near my washing machine. Abq Plumbing answered my call and immediately got me scheduled. The team arrived on time, and their communication before, during, and after the repair was excellent. Leak was fixed in about an hour at a very affordable cost. Will be returning here for all my Plumbing needs. Keep up the great work!

We had a leak in our upstairs bathtub for about a week. I was desperate and Albuquerque plumbing was the first one to call me back and say that they can get someone out there the same day. We had a special circumstance where Albuquerque plumbing did not do the work but the technician (Joshua) did come out. He explain to us exactly what happened and what would need to be done to fix the problem. He was very professional and gave us a lot of good information he also showed us where the shut off valve in our home was. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He spoke extremely highly of his company and everything that they stand for and how they make him feel as an employee. Seems like an all around great company to work for and use! I will definitely be calling Albuquerque plumbing if I have any other plumbing issues!

Kurston and Drew were scheduled to perform routine cooler/heater maintenance. They found a carbon monoxide leak in the process. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional explaining all my options. Both gentlemen were very courteous and helpful. What an asset they are to the company! We have had many various services performed by the company and the service has always been outstanding.

Our old swamp cooler was on its last legs and we decided to look into a replacement. I did several searches and found Albuquerque Plumbing & Heating had excellent reviews. A quick phone call and we had an appointment for an estimate. Our estimate was done quickly, and the estimator sis not get on the roof. We were recommended 2 units and went with the more expensive of the two (aerocool) which was supposed to cool our home down 5 degrees. The installed happened on 4/19/21. They were on time and got down to removing the old unit and installing the new one quickly. Several hours later we powered on and it felt nice...it was still cooler outside so I can’t vouch for the 5 degrees cooler. The next night the wind kicked up and the problems began. The noise was ridiculous...louder than the 10+ year old unit that we replaced. It sounded like sheet metal flapping in the wind and a rattling sound in the unit and into the ducts. The estimator told us this was a great unit and made no mention of loud metal noises in wind. The communication and service were very good, but the product that they highly recommended definitely is not. Review would have been 5 stars other wise

Jerry and Justin Ulibarri were great. I was informed about what they were doing and about what was deficient about my old furnace and my air vents. The new unit works fine.

My furnace wasn’t staying on, so I called to have someone diagnose the problem. Chris came out, and said that he “thinks” the heat exchanger is cracked, and that I would need a whole new system. He also disabled my furnace at that time. He gave me a quote, and said he could do it after hours at a discounted rate. And if I accepted his quote within 2 days, he would discount it further. Bad practice just to try to discourage people from getting a 2nd opinion. I did hire another company to diagnose, and they reconnected everything and determined the dampener was just closed, which was causing my system to shut off. They also told me that even if my heat exchanger were cracked, they come with a 20 year warranty. I have a 2010 model that is still under warranty. A $5000 quote was resolved with an hour of labor. Super service. We had a regular service winter start up furnace for the winter. AP service checked the water heater and found it was leaking. we found it had seeped into the house. AP also replaced the water heater the same day. AP has super customer service and professional staff. I was able to get an appointment the same day ! I had asked if they could come earlier than the scheduled 2 hour time frame, and Jeffrey was able to come about 40 minutes early. Especially since we couldn't use the toilet until the clog was removed. The technician was courteous and wore a mask. The cost was reasonable!

I'd like to thank Andrew for his diligence in repairing my a/c system. It seem we had multiple issues and he came out several days until everything was repaired and operational. to summarize, he had to rewire and relocate the thermostat and eventually had to replace the thermostat. Thank you Andrew and Alb Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for your quick response to my issues!

We recently had our drain for our washing machine replaced and we had amazing service. They did a great job, were able to fix it fairly soon. No issues with it since so far. Their employees are polite and wore masks. I felt secure dealing with this company and will continue to use their services when needed.

Had a new ac and heater installed. Andrew and Max were great. Very professional, efficient, and did a great job. Quickly responded when there was a thermostat issue. We will definitely continue to use the company and Andrew and Max! The quote was more expensive than another company but the equipment was higher quality and more advanced.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Extremely unprofessional. I called and was told someone would be at my house between 5 and 7. At 7:30 no one had arrived or phoned. I called them and was told they would look into why no one had been out and I was told they would call. No one ever called me. I was without heat due to electrical problem during 29 degree weather. My recommendation is call someone else.

I called the company to replace the cartridge in my shower. I was charged $285.00 which was outrageous. The service man was there about an hour and I checked the price of the cartridge at Home Depot and it cost $49.00. The owner would not explain his cost. He said that was the cost. So ask questions before hand or buyer beware.

Used this team on multiple occasions and were the most professional, friendly, walked through step by step and didn't conduct any work I did not approve. Would recommend.

I have an aging rooftop swamp cooler and when it finally went beyond my DIY skills, I relented and called these folks. And they did not disappoint! Michael was a delight, very knowledgeable and willing to explain his findings, and upfront about the things that aren't feasible to repair at this point. When we retire the old beast up there, we'll give you a call, but hopefully you've given it a bit more life.

Mike determined the issue rather quickly. He was friendly and helpful when I asked him about some other electrical issues that I had. He gave me a tentative quote and I plan to schedule the other items on Monday.

Our sewer line was clogged and fortunately, they were able to send Greg over here within a couple of hours after I called, and he ran a snake down our sewer line and fixed our problem. He was efficient and easy to talk to. I’m appreciative that this was resolved on the very same day that I called. Gracias.

It has taken 4 plumbing technicians on 4 separate visits to install a new bathroom vanity with sinks and faucets. The second tech switched the hot and cold water the 3rd technician fixed the hot and cold water hookup and found a large puddle of water from a leak and now I have water damage on my brand new bathroom vanity. It has cost me $2200 for this company to install and damage my new vanity. The ONLY technician that took his time to fix the leak was Joseph Walker. He made sure everything was done and no leaks detected before he left. I will NEVER use or recommend this company again.

Phenomenal service! Thank you to Mr. Cameron Mitchell for fixing our kitchen lighting. We had three electricians that couldn't repair the problem and it took us two months of ordering parts and failed repairs. Cameron tested wires other electricians didn't test and fixed it all. Review updated: I was initially very upset because I was overcharged on a job. However, Mike reached out to me directly and it turns out it was a training issue. He was able to correct the billing issue and I really appreciate him doing that and I'm very happy with the resolution. Made me feel much better about the whole issue. I do want to note that the technicians and all the staff have been very nice and professional, my issues had nothing to do with them at all. Overall, I'm now very satisfied with my service and the price has been corrected to be very fair. Thanks Mike, for taking the initiative on this issue with me.

Preston, was professional, came before scheduled time which was nice! He kept his mask on at all times. Cleaned up and talked over everything he was going to do and once he was done he went over it with me again. I highly recommend ABQ, plumbing and Preston especially.

If I could give them zero stars I would… At first I was excited because they were very responsive and were able to get me in same day during their emergency hours. The technician was able to diagnose the problem and narrowed it down to a broken capacitor. For a job that took not even 20 minutes I was charged over $600. That’s not where I have the issue. The issue I have came not even three days later on Saturday June 11th when I woke up to a very loud noise and all of the power in our house shut off. I didn’t think anything of it so I switched the breaker back on and went about my day which is bad on my part because I should have checked the AC but figured since the part was replaced not even three days ago it should have been fine. When I got home I realized my AC was not working and it was over 87 degrees inside on one of the hottest days this year. I called ABQ plumbing heating and cooling and was told I would not be able to get in until Sunday June 12th between 10-11am. Part of me knew something was wrong so I called another local business and he came out to take a look and found that the capacitor the technicians installed was clearly shoved against a metal line or wire and caused it to short circuit inside of my unit which fortunately for me just tripped the breaker and did not start a fire. Not only that we also found that the technician broke the terminal off the disconnect handle. Not only did I have to pay the $600 for their service I also had to pay over $1000 to fix the damages and mistakes they made.

Called them and told them exactly what I needed done. Changed the time the day before the apt with a text message and the technician was an hour late the day of apt. Over the phone I was quoted $130 when the tech arrived he was here about 10 minutes and he quoted me over $2,000. Called Homerun Plumbing and they were at my house within an hour and got quoted $600 for the same job and was done the next day where as this company told me it wouldn’t be done until Monday.

I was very pleased with the persistence Greg showed in solving the sewer backup into the shower, tub, and other fixtures. The weather was uncooperative; so, obvious solutions were not an option. He finally managed to clear the clog in the main line, then carefully picked up his equipment, tools, plastic sheeting, and cleaned up any mess resulting from his work. I also asked him to install a new ADA toilet, and he did that quickly and efficiently! I will definitely use ABQ Plumbing, Heating & Cooling again for unplanned plumbing issues. They responded quickly. I will also ask for Greg, as he was friendly, dog friendly, and considerate.

Michael was a very polite and efficient young man. He unclogged my toilet and stayed and tested it a few time to make sure it was working correctly. Very happy with the repair person and the company.

Rodney provided the estimate for a panel upgrade, two 50amp set ups for my fifth wheel and ev charge station, and 240 circuit for a hot tub. Besides offering the best deal he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked through the process and requirements of permits and safety codes. He also separated the quotes so I can decide which projects I wanted to proceed. Taxes where included in the estimates so filling out the finance application was easy and accurate! Will provide another review when work is completed.

The company is responsive to online inquiries and was able to schedule within a reasonable amount of time. They text reminders as well as send a picture of the technician who is coming so you know what to expect. Travis was extremely professional and friendly along with being efficient and knowledgeable.

Saturday morning woke to a water leak coming from the first floor through the ceiling in the basement. Called two plumbers; calls both went straight to voicemail and calls were not returned until Monday and Tuesday! Third call was to Albuquerque Plumbing. Thrilled to hear a person on the other end! Vanessa was friendly and scheduled a plumber to come to our home that afternoon. Received an email letting us know the name of the plumber who would be responding along with his photo. Pete showed up as expected. He had to cut the drywall in the ceiling to find the source of the leak. Performed the needed repairs and cleaned up his mess before leaving. This company’s service is exceptional from beginning to end; from first point of contact with the receptionist to the plumber to the invoicing. Boy was I impressed! I’ll be using Albuquerque Plumbing for all of my future Plumbing needs. Very satisfied customer.

Do not use this company for A/C repair. A technician charged me $225 for an ESTIMATE. He said that one of my units was INOPERABLE and quoted me for a new, several thousand $ unit. I sought a second opinion, and a technician from another company was able to FIX the unit within 10 minutes. When I do replace my A/C units, I will not purchase them from ABQ Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling.

My 80 year old floor furnace finally went caputz. After getting a couple of quotes - decided to go with ABQ plumbing to install central forced air and duct work. Hunter and Quentin were careful with my furniture, conscientious of any dust and respectful of my home. They installed a completely new system and it works extremely well. And it’s super quiet! When I had questions everyone in the office was terrific, especially Melissa and Destiny. Pete was supervising and came by daily to review the progress and seal the roof. They had a lot to do. Removing concrete to place the heater, cutting out wholes for the vents and intake and discovering a few obstacles. I was really pleased with the careful and methodical approach they took. It seems to me they did excellent work. As I upgrade my house, I plan to use ABQ plumbing again. Construction isn’t usually fun for me, but it was a pleasure working these guys. I recently called a plumber from your company to check and maybe tighten the connections on sink faucets in two bathrooms. The person did the job within an hour , did not put any new parts and charged us 225 dollars. He claimed that the service call is not included in the labor time, which I thought was unfair. I think it was way too much for just tightening the connections. As a comparison, another company did two major repairs on the water heater for which the technician had to remove the tank and put it back in. It took him several hours of labor, but he charged us the amount he calculated during the service call and the service call WAS included in the total labor time. I think that Albuquerque Plumbing should reconsider their rates as it it not the best company out there to overcharge their loyal customers.

William, with some support from assistant plumbers, did a great job on this difficult installation. He encountered a few unexpected problems, but was professional throughout, and dealt with everything in a conscientious and hardworking manner. I now feel confident that my water heater is safe and working well! So great to have hot water!

This company requires you to buy parts they know you don’t need and justify charging you by saying they come in sets. For my job they did not properly diagnose the issue, and the faucet handles leaked after they left. They charge by the job which results in an exorbitant price for very little time. The staff is unwilling or unable to provide detailed accountings of the costs. I recommend not using this company and will not do so in the future.

I can not thank APH&C enough for what they have done for us. I was figuring a simple repair on an ac unit, come to find out it was a dual system, and it had a major gas leak! Not only did they take care of the problem, but they made sure the leak was sealed, both ac and heating worked accordingly, and at a fair price that I'd expect! Erik and his right hand man were fabulous, beyond efficient and fixed it all under a day's work. With kids in the home and one on the way, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was working right in my home. Last week my AC stopped blowing cold air, so I called an HVAC company to get it fixed. I won’t name the company, but it starts with a D. The technician arrived and went up on my roof to inspect the combo unit. A few minutes later, he came to my door and told me I had a leak in my system and went on to give me a quote of $2300, just to find the leak.....by the end of our conversation, I was being scheduled with a salesman to discuss a new unit. I’m “oh great, here goes $8K-$10K.Since, I was looking at a huge investment, I thought I should spend another $120 and get a second opinion. That’s when I called ABQ Plumbing and Heating. That same day, Shane (technician) arrived and inspected my unit. It took him 5 minutes and returned to my door to tell my the seal around my schrader-valve had rotted and it was very obvious where the coolant had leaked out. He replaced the valve and added coolant, and was done in about 15 minutes it seems. The biggest part of the bill was the amount for the coolant. $450 and My AC is nice and cold again!Yesterday I woke up to an awful smell coming from my shower, smelled like sewer has to me. So I ran to the store and bought some drain cleaner, used it, ran all of my water to see if I could get anything to back up, but everything was flowing. So now I’m thinking I have a break in my line and the gas is coming up through the floor in my bathroom somehow. So I called ABQ Plumbing and Heating, and scheduled them to come out and run a camera through my line, for a flat rate of $225, (it would’ve only been $175 but I wanted a copy of the video).This morning Greg and Lain arrived at my house and began investigating. They then told me they didn’t think I would benefit by running the camera. Instead, the called Marcus, the guy who could fit through my very tight crawl space! Marcus went through and physically inspected and photographed my sewer line. There were no leaks and we’re not sure why the smell was soo bad. I’m cleaning and bleaching my traps, and hope it doesn’t happen again.Instead of just coming out and performing the work I had scheduled, and charging me. These guys changed it up got creative, and in the end saved me money once again! They’re professional and honest. After my two experiences with them, I am a loyal customer and will recommend them to everyone.

The estimator listened to my likes and dislikes in a heating/cooling system and proposed a great system. He was professional and provided a complete proposal while at my home. ABQ Plumbing Heating and Cooling seems to be a well run organization and clearly cares about customer satisfaction. I am still deciding among different systems, but I hope ABQ will continue to work with me to choose the best system for my home.

I called for a plumber over the weekend. Our hot water heater wasn't heating anymore. I was told that Pete would be there at noon. I arranged my schedule to be there and by 12:30 he still was not there. I had to call to see what was going on. He told me he would be there by 2:00 and so I waited. He came shortly after 2. Then I showed him the got water heater. He said they didn't carry parts for this type. He messed with a knob and took a few pictures then suggested that I order my own parts and he would just come back and install them. I told him we had already been out of hot water and wanted it fixed asap. I didn't even know if I order the parts of they would new right. He said he could get them Monday but no guarantee that he could come back that day. We were charged dearly and still no fix. They did call Monday morning but to check to see of I got three parts. I honestly feel like they should have asked what kind of hot water heater it was to begin with. This would have saved my day and our money.

I own a few rental homes. I have had nothing but great experience with Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling.But last week, they went above and beyond. One of my rentals, the furnace pilot light went out. I called them first, and they said they were booked until next week.Not wanting to make my tenant wait a whole weak for hot water, I called around. Everyone was booked until the following week.Within 5 minutes, their (Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling) dispatcher/front desk lady (I wish I had written her name down) called me. She said, that she would squeeze me in with the first technician that became available, if all I needed was for someone to light up the pilot. I told her it was fine. I called around 10:00 am, and by 12:00 noon, they called me and told me someone would be over in 20 minutes.As usual, they were courteous and professional. They quickly fixed the problem and had my tenant's furnace pilot light going. As a landlord, I am grateful and happy that I can always rely on their prompt and good service.

Was good service and they were fast to get here. I think a little bit pricey for a new water heater though. Could have been 5 stars but they forgot to switch the hot water on before they left. Had to come back next day and did promptly.

Very impressed! We had an emergency situation on New Year's Eve, and few other plumbers were responding or available. Abdul was on time, Covid-conscious, and competent. Installed a replacement cartridge for which I didn't have the right tools, avoiding having to buy and install a new faucet. When that was accomplished, asked if there was anything else he could do for us with the remainder of the service call. At my request he advised on repair vs. replacement of our evaporative cooler, advising that replacing the pads would greatly improve its performance. We have subsequently done that; Abdul was right.

Lady that answered the phone was very sweet and professional, she was able to give me a quote while on the phone (other companies had to call me back). They were able to schedule us within a couple hours after business hours. Corey was very professional and gave us additional tips on some of the problems we were experiencing. He was able to fix our problem fairly quickly. Thank you so much guys!

Justin came to shut down the furnace and start up my swamp cooler. He's a very friendly and efficient guy, let me watch and answer all my questions. He knows what he's doing that's for sure. It was a good experience working with him.

We moved to Albuquerque from out of State, and when the gas company came out to establish our service, it was discovered that our water heater did not meet code. Our landlords contacted Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling to make the necessary changes. As it turned out, the entire unit, including all of the pipes and drains needed to be replaced. Jason was there the next day and he and his helper spent the entire day, working hard in the heat, replacing everything necessary to get us up to code. The next day the gas company representative then came out for a second time and informed us that he would not light our water heater as it was no longer his responsibility. We contacted Jason and he came out as soon as he was able, in between jobs, to get it lit. We haven't seen this kind of customer service in a very long time. These folks have all of our future business!

My mini-split install was particularly tricky, but Darion and Ernesto did a phenomenal job. They were also the NICEST crew I’ve ever had work on any project over all my years as a homeowner. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Brian Detommaso and his partner fixed our A/C after another worker for the company failed to do the job. We waited 9 days for the parts and labor while my spouse was having open-heart surgery. When he returned from hospital, he didn’t have A/C in the master bedroom on the second floor. It got as high as 90 degrees even with a unit to cool, two ceiling fans, an electric fan, and opening windows and doors at night. When we were told by the first worker that it couldn’t be repaired, disappointment turned to desperation. Michael, the Manager, sent Brian out the next day first time. Within an hour, the A/C was fixed, and the entire second was cool and has remained so. We had spent a great deal of money fixing up the upstairs to make recovery easier. The two downstairs bedrooms were taken up by his parents and needed office space. We are very grateful for Brian and his partner taking care of our A/C problem.

Erik and team were amazing! They completely reinstalled a very poorly installed duct system, which required crawling through our disgusting and fiberglass-filled attic. They had everything torn out and properly installed in a couple days; they worked super hard and were always cheerful despite unforeseen challenges. They clearly explained everything they were doing. We would definitely use them again!

Called to check price on changing the filter on a tankless water heater all they could say is they would have to come out to look at the filter and also charge me for the diagnostic fee to tell me how much he was gonna be to change??? So if changing the filter was more than other companies I would still have to pay for the estimate for them to come out???? Strange way to run a business!

My heater went out during the winter so I called this company. The first time they came out, they cleaned the unit and replaced the inducer motor. It cost around 1400 but it worked for about a week then the unit went out again. I called them again and they wanted another 1200 to replace the circuit board. I didn't have the funds and winter was almost over so I skipped it. After their service my a.c. was no longer working (it was working just fine last year.) I decided to call another company just to see what they had to say. They arrived and told me that the wiring wasn't done properly and some wires were disconnected. It cost about 80 bucks to get the furnace and AC working properly again. Keep in mind that no one else had touched the wiring since this company did their service. I will never use this company again and advise others to look at other companies.

I needed a plumber quickly as my washing machine backed up into the shower. I was scared. I couldn’t think of a plumber but I remembered #250 from radio spot on 103.3. Jackie says it all the time on that station. I did #250 and was connected to a scheduler who was very sympathetic. I got an appointment for an hour later. Gregory Torres came out on time. The service was evaluated and finally completed with excellent results. All went great.

Very satisfied with visit. Technicians who installed furnace in 9/22 did not install filter! Fortunately I had a backup filter at air intake which minimized potential damage to furnace.

We appreciated the kindness of the people in the office, as well as all of the crew. They were respectful at all times. There was some disappointment concerning the time of completion as it was delayed since the job took longer than we thought it would. My only suggestion would be that more care in keeping the Zero-Scape protected during digging and restoring it should be more of a priority.

I paid $450 to have a leaking pressure reducing valve replaced. The service took about two hours which included the time the plumber went to pick up the part. The original valve was heavy and metal (iron?) and I was surprised that the replaced valve was plastic (though the plumber told me that this is how valves are made now). After researching the cost of such a job ( labor and part) I feel that I was overcharged.

Corey was awesome!! Our mainline clogged past our past our property line where it connects with two other buildings from across the street. He wasn't able to clear it on our side but continued to work on it until he located it 60 ft out. He didn't give up and was able to clear the line. Excellent maintenance furnace checkup from start to finish. Albuquerque plumbing has done it again. Top notch customer service. We just purchased our new home, can’t wait to schedule my service call for switching to refrigerated air !

Charged $100 to take the lid off the Furnace and point at the Filter, they don't offer filters, don't change them, even though they are a Furnace Repair Company. Didn't offer 30 Point Check that would have been $120 (said they really don't do 30 Point Checks) but it's standard in the Industry. Instead found things to repair that totalled almost $1400. We don't even know if the system is working correctly, yet wants to do physical repairs on the outside. When asked if the $100 would go towards the repairs suggested, was told it was up to the Technician whether they did. It felt Shady and wrong. I felt used. The technician was nice and maybe it's just how he's been taught to treat customers.

We recently had our HVAC completely redone. This was a big job as we decided to remove the condenser from the roof to ground level on the side of the home along with the installation of a new gas furnace. We have had experience with various workers from different companies over the years so a comparison for the work done was from observation. We chose Albuquerque Plumbing & Heating to do this job which would take an estimated three days. The skilled personnel on the job and in the office were always professional and very personable during our many interactions. The work was done beautifully and was accompanied by a lifetime, yes, lifetime warranty on the unit! If you want your job done right the first time, call Albuquerque Plumbing & Heating.

Superb service! Zach and his partner helped us in two separate occasions.1. When we had a gas leak and our house was red tagged, they fixed and repiped the gas pipes. They also helped us in having our house certified!2. They helped us install a whole house filter. Two different plumbing companies came to our house to see how they will install the whole house filter. Those two plumbing companies just told us that it is too challenging due to the existing water pipes on our newly bought but old house.When Zach inspected our house, they confirmed that it is indeed challenging. However they gave me different options. And we came up with an option that is agreeable with both of us.Highly recommended! More power to your business.

Unfortunately I had to call at the end of a business day but they have 24/7 techs available! We had hot water pouring out the side of our house & had to turn the main water line off. Rodney Chavez, the salesman who came to my property to give an electrical panel estimate, relied on a presentation full of fluff. He said anything to make a sale, and later back peddled when his inconsistencies were high lighted. Because I am adverse to doing business with his salesmanship tactics, I did not settle on hiring ABQ Plumbing to update my electric panel.

Absolutely awesome company. Michelle (administration specialists) and Dallas (plumbing technician) are fabulous. They both assisted in taking care of a major water leak problem on a Saturday. Michelle is great as a customer service representative. She is polite, courteous, and a joy to work with. Dallas, a professional this company is blessed to have. He is professional, knowledgeable, polite, and a person who gets the repair done right! He repaired a water leak after identifying and cutting into the wall. The water ran into the garage and pantry area. He worked into the night to ensure the repair was done correctly.Dallas is the person to request if you have a plumbing issue. You will not be disappointed! I felt like a valued customer. Bottom line: This should be your first company to call for any plumbing issue.

I received email and text alerts when the tech was heading over. I also received a text with a little intro and picture of the tech so I knew what he looked like before he came to my house! I really like that extra step, to make sure the customers are comfortable and know who they are letting into their home. The tech, Michael (his name-patch said Laine, maybe nickname?), called and said he was running EARLY and was able to come sooner than the appointment time. I told him my problem, kitchen sink is clogged, and he was able to fix it and be on his way in 15 min. It was super quick, super affordable and professional! Michael (Laine) was super friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be calling this company again if I have any future issues.

Service quoted was to change out a thermostat. We provided the thermostat with no other repair or problems to diagnose. We accepted the quote and when the technician arrived he quoted 50 dollars more and then wanted to argue why he was right. 🙁

Called for a leak and was able to book a timely general hours appt. Was quoted $450 for leak inspection but when I asked what would be included in leak inspection, I was told that the front office staff couldn’t provide any information and that I’d have to wait for the tech. It was frustrating and unprofessional that the people quoting a price couldn’t give me any information as to what services would be included in the price. I appreciate that they aren’t on site or aware of my specific situation but I just needed to know what would it would not be covered if I paid $450. No transparency.

Aaron has come to our home several times over the past 3 years to work on our furnace. He is polite, punctual, and neat when working. He is excellent at trouble shooting and works hard to ensure he has solved the problem.

Jerrod Ortiz was very professional and friendly and was very forthcoming as to what needed to be done to stop the continued new duct return air leak on the tar and gravel roof related to a combo HVAC unit roof installation fem ABQ plumbing nearly 2 years ago.He will follow up if it continues to leak after the next big rain.He came very promptly, the day I called and kept me informed when he was going to be delayed from another earlier job.We appreciate the quality service and professionalism of all your workers and have the same experience every time we meet a new one.Thanks!Mark

Extremely happy with ABQ plumbing!Needed estimates to replace our 23yr old furnace/AC as furnace was having problems & parts were hard to find. First contractor that came out (not ABQ) started telling me what couldn't be done before he was even at my house & then once he saw my furnace (which was a professionally installed Lennox) it only got more negative from there leaving me feeling that this was going to be a hard thing to do.Next contractor was Josh from ABQ Plumbing & he was an absolute pleasure, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable & saw nothing that couldn't be done. He gave us options & let us know what would be best for our mobile home. We accepted his estimate for a 95% efficiency Bryant furnace/AC which may not have been the cheapest but we wanted quality & quiet.Install & removal was done a week later, took 2 days & was all done by Peter & Kameron who did quality work, were very conscientious, thorough & took the time to do things right the first time. We had a little problem finding the right solution for the condensation line so it wouldn't freeze & so we didn't hear it but when we all put our heads together & came up with a alternative they happily redid it.As a retired contractor I feel confident in the work they did & confident that I have found the best for my plumbing or HVAC needs.

Would highly recommend this company. Remodeling older home, opened up master shower to remodel. Ekkkkk. Had used another plumbing company in past homes. When called other, was placed on hold for over 5 minutes. Hung up, called ABQ Plumbing. So thankful. Jerod came next day for estimate. Walked me through all that needed to be replaced. Show me multi options, and scheduled the repair/ replacement. Very quick turn around time. Hubby wanted to make minor changes, wasn't an issue. Will have Jarod and Richard back again! This company is so customer service oriented. Emails and texted messages as reminders. Phone call to alert on the way. So professional while here. Hey, they cleaned up better then we do!! Very on time and knowledgeable. Frankie D came out to check why our swamp cooler was not performing at its best as well as it running noisily. He got it fixed and working super fast and explained everything in detail for why it wasn’t working properly (turns out we had installed the motor and belt wrong and it was making the motor work WAY harder than needed). He also gave tips to keep it working at its max going forward. Now it’s working great!

Orlando was quick, professional and got the job done!! I had a stubborn faucet nut stuck on with years and years of hard water and corrosion that would not come off my kitchen faucet! He had to basically cut the nut out from the top which made a huge mess but he cleaned up the mess. I had only called yesterday and they were able to pencil me in! I even asked if they could call me 20 minutes before they got there so I could leave work early, which they did. I will definitely use them again!

I was told by the water authority that I must have a large leak and so I called Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I opted to wait until the following Tuesday for regular business hour prices (not after hours) but asked to be put on the waiting list. Less than an hour later I got a call back for same day service!Jared and his apprentice/helper, Jacob, were professional and did a great job! Turns out I don’t have a leak like the water company said and Jared was very fair in the charge for the leak service. He did replace an outside faucet that had a slow leak that we had known about. He also educated us on what was done not quite right on our water heater installation, the ductwork on the heater, and the faucet on the shut off valve. We will be getting quotes in the future to get this work done and these issues addressed.The big news is that we are going to have them come replace the swamp cooler next week!! My husband is really excited that I am getting someone else to install it!! Again, Jared was very knowledgeable about the swamp cooler process, how to pick the right one, and suggestions for helping keep the house cooler.Glad I found them and have someone trustworthy and professional to take care of my aging house’s plumbing!!

Great job. Very fast and on the holiday too. Reasonable price considering holiday fees. Flat rate per job. Not hourly. I was expecting it to take a while so was pretty happy about flat rate. Maybe 30 mins all told. Clean job too. No detritus left behind. Stucco wasn't damaged. My exterior faucet had snapped clean off while I was replacing my evap cooler's water line. Appreciate the fast repair on a holiday!

Albuquerque Plumbing , Heating & Cooling has some hazardous drivers! On May 16, 2023 when driving north of Osuna, around 2:15 in the afternoon, on Jefferson, and turning east on to Ellison, one of their vans, driving southbound on Jefferson, cut in front of me ( even though I had right of way coming from the south) nearly causing an accident. The Van's license plate # is 28945LA, (V76 lower right corner of the van) per the photo that was taken. I would never use a business with drivers so aggressive & dangerous! I have been in hit 4 times by dirvers like this person in this city!!!

They were right in time and diagnosed the problem as a leaking garbage disposal. They had a replacement in their truck and were very personable and efficient. I highly recommend them.

This is the second time I am using ABQ plumbing and it wasn't up to the expectations. Jerod (technician) fixed the leak in the cold water line to the heater but he broke the recirculation pump (right in front of me) while trying to keep the water away from the cold water inlet to the water heater to ease with soldering. He would not accept that it was his mistake but instead he says the pump was jammed and I had to remove it harder which broke the pump shaft. He fixed the leak, and assembled broken shaft into the pump. Because he broke the recirculation pump I have asked him to quote the price to fix, which costs me $884 to install a new pump. There was not even an attempt to provide any discounts due to his mistake. If he wanted to block the water from recirculation pump he could have simply shut off the water to the building, and pumped out remaining water droplets. No reason for him to open the pump, and break the shaft. The reason I gave at least 3 stars is because he fixed the leak so my garage would not flood.

Great service all around. Called the day before to remind and identify when and who would arrive. Added an extra service which was no problem and the payment was extremely reasonable. This was our 2d call for their help (different from first) and both very efficient and clean.

My furnace was not working well. A Technician, with 2 years experience diagnosed and gave me an estimate for $7800.00. The next day I called another company with 30+ experience and Steve immediately knew it was filter blocking the air flow. I’m very disappointed how they can take it vantage of a situation.

I had been experiencing leaks throughout the house for a number of years. Depending on who you talk to, it was caused by defective copper. After the last major leak in January, I decided it was time to redo the plumbing in the entire house. This was not a decision made lightly.After talking to friends and family, reading reviews, and several phone calls, I asked three companies to come to the house, inspect the situation, and give me a bid. The most important criteria is that I wanted a quality job. Of the bids, this was not the cheapest. It was somewhere in the middle, but what convinced me to go with them was the conversation I had with Mike when he came out to do the bid. He really took the time to inspect the property, talk to me about what it meant to do a job like this, and what I should expect. He pointed out a lot of mistakes that were made when the house was originally constructed and explained the material they use and their approach.At the risk of going on too long, they did exactly what they said they would do. They pulled permits with the county, followed all the code requirements. and really cleaned up all of the pipes and things in the garage. These guys are professionals. They are courteous and the team worked very hard to make sure that will all of the work they had to do, they minimized the time we were without water.In the end, I got what I needed. I am not a plumbing expert, but it is not hard to see the improvement over the original installation.Mike and his team did a great job! Thanks

He was very kind and explained all my options. Once i decided to procure their services they went out of their way to keep my home clean while providing excellent installation. Landon Giles provided excellent service installing my AC and explaining how to operate the unit. Rick Mascarenas also assisted and went out of his way to ensure quality and cleanliness by sealing my roof including areas not associated with my AC. I even saw Rick sweeping rocks off my driveway that just shows their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Very good! They detected the source of the leak which was behind baseboards (dishwasher sprung a problem which was simply capped off) and with minimal damage they fixed the leak. I had no idea how leaks which were behind walls were fixed. It's not a big deal! They were very precise and direct with a minimum of talk. Very pleasant, honest, quick. I will definitely call them next time there is a HVAC issue!

We had Albuquerque Plumbing and Heating come out to our house to look at some heater vents on our roof that needed repair. the Technicians that came out (Justin Ulibarri and Travis Coleman), were very knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous. they did a wonderful job and we will be using them again when the need arises. we highly recommend them.

Enduring a few weeks without A/C was not fun, but ABQ plumbing and cooling came to the rescue. My first contact was very professional and I got an appointment in a reasonable time frame. The technician was prompt and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and worked efficiently. He explained the problem and his plan clearly. I was very satisfied with the whole process. I did flinch at the cost, particularly since much of what he did was correcting a faulty install, but it was a lot of work. Still, my A/C is back on and I am grateful

I just had them out to clear a stopped up sewer line, which they did, but they left the area under my sink an absolute filthy wreck. The plumber said he was waiting on someone to bring him more towels, but didn't clean up after they brought the towels and just left. Just horribly unprofessional work, leaving an area like that and running off without cleaning up the mess. There was filthy water and black sludge over everything underneath my sink, along my cabinet doors. I've just spent the last hour cleaning up after this wreck of a service.

Two technicians showed up looking dirty and unshaven. I asked them to us their electronic sniffer to locate a gas leak that was coming from the furnace. It took them more than an hour to locate the leak on the gas valve. Then I was over quoted prices for parts and was told the repair was going to be over 500 dollars. When I pointed out how his math did not add up, should have been charged 1 hour for labor and 200 dollars for parts. He then said the part he was installing did not fit and had to go get the correct part. I was then charged an additional hour for him to go get the correct part. Upon returning, he then told me the part he went to pickup did not work and proceeded to install the part he originally tried to install. He then charged me another 2 hours to install the same part a second time.I should have been charged 1 hour for labor and 200 dollars for parts, but was charged a total of 4 hours labor since it took 3 hours 10 minutes. unfortunately, I will never use this company again due to this particular technician who conducted himself unprofessionally by working deliberately slow and mis-quoting prices.

Greg came to our home to help us with a sewage backup. He did an absolute fantastic job. We appreciated him so much for coming out at almost midnight on a holiday weekend. He was very professional & courteous. We would highly recommend him! He was a life saver!!

Price gouging- my elderly mother lives with me while I work from home so she takes care of the interactions with service folks while I work. I feel she was taken advantage of because the techs assumed she didn't know better and was quoted over $900 to replace the filters in the swamp cooler, replace a float and the poly water line. When I asked her why the quote was so high, she said they told her it was because the filters are very expensive. We called back to get a breakdown of the costs. A float was over $100. Filters over $500. Service charge over $100. I normally service the cooler myself so and how much work is involved and how much the parts cost at Home Depot...float is about $5, filters about $200, service fee - we were told it would be $65 when making the appointment.I also do not appreciate that the tech tried to just walk into the house when he was ready to give us the exorbitant quote. The inside house door was opened but the screened security door was locked. He then said, oh it's locked.I won't be using this company again.

We had Albuquerque Plumbing Company come out to work on our AC system. We appreciate Nate for quickly determining what was wrong. He sent out a great crew (Andrew, Pete, and Max) who did a wonderful job. They worked hard and were very kind, professional and courteous throughout the experience. Cameron & his assistant were very polite & cordial. They were efficient and completed the job in a timely fashion, and explained the issues and made appropriate recommendations. The cost, however, exceeded my expectations (as the lady-receptionist on the phone led me to believe it would be around $90).

Cory showed up without calling 2 days in a row. The first day he could not resolve kitchen drain issue. The 2md day he showed up without the proper wrench to remove clean out cap. Useless Refused to pay called TLC who fixed in 20 minutes.

Abdul worked on my gas fireplace.
He came in and relit the pilot. He explained what might have happened to make the pilot go out.

Extremely delayed review regarding my experience with Albuquerque Plunbing, Heating, And Cooling. Had these folks come in a few years ago to repipe all my supply lines and hot water heater and learned last night a couple things were never done properly.The guys that came out were very friendly and punctual. Overall a project that was supposed to take a week turned into more like 3 weeks if I can recall, BUT here's where things go negative. My thermal expansion tank for my hot water heater was not installed right.From the factory thermal expansion tanks ship at 35-40lbs of air pressure(from what I've seen so far) and part of the install process SHOULD BE to check water pressure at a hose bib and increase the pressure on the tank to match whatever that water pressure reading measured. I know for certain I never saw the crew check pressure on the house or fill the tank. I took a lot of time off work to watch and familiarize myself with what they did and how and this process is critical!As I said, I learned last night this wasn't done properly after a pinhole leak developed in the tank, causing water to spray all over the inside of my utility closet, close proximity to electrical receptacles and our central heat unit.ALSO, this tank weighs about 5lbs out of the box, every gallon of water weighs 8lbs. For a 2 gallon tank, when it fails, weighs 21lbs. It may or may not be code, but plenty of stuff online recommends strapping this tank to a wall to provide support and not 21lbs floating on top of fittings should it fail and completely fill with water.Watch your crews, and specifically when it comes to these tanks be sure they are pressurizing properly. These tanks are only expected to last 5 to 10 years from what I've read so be ready to swap frequently as well.
