Had an estimate done for a remodeling job. Went with another company that had a lower estimate with copper supply lines vs PEX(Ed Youngs job was with PEX). First company started the job and then disappeared. After months of trying to get someone to return I called Ed Youngs to come take another look. They spent a good 20-30 minutes checking everything out and said they'd get me an estimate when I located a tub as they needed tub spec's to complete estimate. FINALLY located the tub size, type, and drain side I needed in this age of supply chain issues..... Called Ed Youngs and they said the job was too far gone...? and would not be interested in completing it. Never bothered to tell me 8 weeks ago they wouldn't be doing the job. I had to reach out to them in order to get an answer.

Have been a loyal local customer for 20 years but this experience of customer service and the lack of common courtesy to call me back and say Not interested has sadly changed that. Will be finding a new place to spend my $$ for renovations.

I had the tech come out for possible furnace repair for the blower motor but he couldn't find anyone with the part same day and that it might take til after the weekend to even get to it when the part comes in. This was before the weekend where it was going to be bitterly cold, so I looked the part number up found it at Grainger for next day delivery or same day pick up for oem replacement part. Was told they can't put it in because they need to use their suppliers. So I watched a video on how to uninstall then reinstall a blower motor which takes about 30 minutes and is very easy or if you clean and dust everything off an hour. Got quoted about 900$ but I'm glad they didn't find a part cause I saved 600 by doin a little research. No way that 1 hour of work should cost that much I guess HVAC people just like to rob people blind when you're at they're mercy.

I called cheektowaga plumbing after hours for a sewer back up. The technician came out within the hour and was able to get me back up and running. Great company this was a sunday afternoon so it helped out with being ready for school and work in the morning!!

I had a backed up sewer line in my front yard. When I called, Michelle answered and was extremely sweet and kind and comforting. My father just passed away three days ago and I have his wake to go to tonight. Besides that, I have 30 people coming over to my house after the wake, along with seven out of town family members staying at my house. A backed up sewer line was my own personal nightmare! Michele called me right back and found a plumber who is finishing up a job named Jerry Christiansen. He was here within 45 minutes took very good care of me, explained everything thoroughly, and was also very kind and compassionate. These two employees of Frank’s, Mr. Plumber were my angels today, and I really appreciate everything that was taken care of in such a quick manner. Michele and Jerry, you’re my heroes 🥰

Lou Simon installed two Bradford White 50 gallon tank style water heaters in my home. He arrived on time as scheduled. He and his crew were neat, clean and professional. They cleaned up afterwards and the job looks great. We have hot water and no leaks!

I am selling a property in Amherst. Reimer installed a Carrier a/c unit in July 2021. The unit was installed poorly. It's leaking oil and coolant due to sloppy installation. Reimer refused to service it because the owner has to make the appointment. The owner is out of town. I offered to take responsibility yet they still refused. I had another HVAC contractor, whom I have used for years, inspect the unit. Reimer is no longer locally owned and is just another corporate operation. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NEVER USING THIS COMPANY. I wish zero stars was an option.

Our (15 yo) A/C stopped working overnight, called in the morning and they sent someone within a couple hours. Fortunately, the repairs were minor, and we will eventually need to replace our unit due to age and will definitely contact Keiffer when it’s time. We’ve relied on Keiffer for many years now and they have always been prompt in sending someone, and resolving the issue in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Their technicians have always been knowledgeable and professional every time and we will continue reach out to Keiffer in the future.
