A different company charged me $100 just for a diagnosis, only to tell me I need to buy a new furnace! Keiffer came out right before a snow storm, and in 15 minutes had my furnace running again. Most companies don’t fix things anymore, they just want to replace. However Keiffer is an old school company, with knowledgeable staff, who are reputable, friendly, and honest. I can’t say enough good things about them. Thank you Ryan, Kevin, and Gene. The owner is a licensed plumber, electrician and HVAC tech and used to run the adult learning program at Boces. Call them, you won’t regret it.

Great people

Very quick and efficient. I had Bobby and Ryley install my boiler. They were very professional and clean they laid down tarps covering my whole house. And when they were done they made it like they were never even there. The craftsmanship really showed how much they care for their customers. I highly recommend to go to them with plumbing and heating home repairs. Definitely will be a returning customer.

Our (15 yo) A/C stopped working overnight, called in the morning and they sent someone within a couple hours. Fortunately, the repairs were minor, and we will eventually need to replace our unit due to age and will definitely contact Keiffer when it’s time. We’ve relied on Keiffer for many years now and they have always been prompt in sending someone, and resolving the issue in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Their technicians have always been knowledgeable and professional every time and we will continue reach out to Keiffer in the future.

Had my furnace and generator serviced today great job very satisfied.

My furnace was running moments before the technician arrived to clean and tune it. This is the 2nd co. I used for this free service with HEAP. It is also the 2nd time I was lied to about my furnace needing expensive service. The Keiffer tech told me he couldn't even clean a nd tune it because the mother board was bad. After my first experience I became very suspicious I was being fed malarkey again! I made it understood I was being lied to and he left. The furnace worked just fine as he was pulling out of the driveway! I called the co. who installed it....they agreed 100% the tech ws trying to scam me! They also said no co. can come to do a clean and tune for $100 and make any money. Its a valuable service but is used to rip unsuspecting homeowners off. I am out of work and living on next to nothing. I am a senior with disabilities and do not appreciate being upset for no good reason! Nice going Keiffer! You wont get any future business from me!

I needed my tub fixed as water was pouring out of it. They came out THAT Day, for four hours, and totally redid all the plumbing in my shower for me and did it the correct way. He raised the shower head for me and made my two handle shower into the updated single handle. He was super professional and showed me how to put all the fixtures on once I’m done doing the tile myself. He even tightened the water main fixture for me so it wasn’t leaking and made sure my pilot light was lit before he left! All of this was only 600 dollars for four hours of extensive labor. I would use them and recommend them to everyone I know! They also have done chimney work and they just redid my friends sink as well. Great business. Roy’s couldn’t come out for four days when I had no water!!!! I will never call Roy’s again. I’m 100% going with keiffer!!!

Awful! I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Rude and unprofessional to put it mildly. We went with this company because of the good reputation to upgrade our electrical box, replace furnace, and install ac. The workers are incompetent, made a complete mess tracking mud everywhere, don't clean up after themselves, and are disrespectful. I was yelled at on the phone by a worker when asking about his plan to finish the job, and told by another worker that the femalefowner called me a difficult customer. Very difficult to work with and do a crappy job.

Friendly, professional reasonable prices

A labor of love, value and honesty! First the staff in the office, Victoria and Amanda, patient, understanding, call you the day of the appointment to let you know the tech's are on there way, most pleasant staff I ever have dealt with. Then there is Gene, Christian, John and other tech's, honest, professional, on time, courteous, layout tarps so they don't dirty the floor, sweep up. Now the crux of this review. A boiler for a hot water system heat, 55yrs old bit the dust, of course it had to be around the time of the 2 snow storms of late. Gene and I along with my wife discussed replacing the old boiler with a Combi Boiler. 95% efficient. For now will do the hot water heat, but in the future when hot water tank bites the dust, will also connect to the Combi Boiler to heat and supply hot water all in one small compact unit. Hangs on the wall, more storage space for the wife things. The service plan offered was purchased at a fair price also.

Excellent work. Paul and crew were efficient knowledgeable and professional. Had a backup generator installed. Work completed on time, very neat and was well informed throughout.

We called at 7:30 pm on Monday evening because we had no heat. We received a call back within five minutes and the owner was at our home in under an hour. He fixed our furnace. (Unknowingly, we had accidentally turned it off.) NO CHARGE! We have used Keiffer for over 20 years and will continue to do so. They are competent and professional,

I called Keiffer Monday morning because our furnace quit working on Sunday. I was told someone should be out by 2pm. I said that would be fine because I still had to clean out my driveway. I was notified that someone would be at.my house by 11 am. The technician was professional and said that he should have the part this afternoon and was coserned that we had heat. He arrived around 2 with a new part and we now have heat. Thanks

We had a great experience with Keiffer’s when our sewer backed up last week. They came out that day and arrived the hour they said they would, which is so important. The service man was efficient and and answered all my questions. Would definitely use them again and not just for emergency situations!

I had no heat during that super cold spell we had. I called on Saturday morning and that afternoon Paul and Bob came to my house and put in my new furnace. They put a tarp down covering my floors from my entrance all the way to the basement door. They worked the entire time they were there and cleaned up everything when they finished. Needless to say we’ve been toasty warm ever since. I would highly recommend this company they truly care about their customers.

Amazing! Called because our AC was not working and they were at my house in less than two hours. Bob came and he was great. He explained everything to me and was so patient with my kids needing to follow us around. Very reasonable pricing. I would call again and recommend to anyone.

Took care of my parents

I called them at 3:50 P.M. on a Thursday and they sent out a technician in 20 minutes. Of course, when he arrived, we could not replicate the problem. We spoke a bit about the furnace, and he did a tune up and replaced the thermocouple. The bill was very reasonable, especially given that they came out within 20 minutes of the first call. The technician was very knowledge, friendly, and honest.

I have used Keiffer numerous times over the years because they usually do a good job. I own multiple buildings in the Hamburg area and wanted to get them serviced. I called nearly 3 weeks ago to setup a service on 4 furnaces at 3 different locations. I advised my tenants that this was happening today to make arrangements to get in. I called this morning to see what time they would arrive and was given the same excuse that was given in the last review. She did not even have me on the schedule. If I hadn't called this morning l, I would have been waiting all day. This did not only inconvenience me but also my tenants. This is extremely unprofessional from a company that i thought valued its clients....

The most honest and knowledgeable HVAC I have ever dealt with. Serviced old boiler and advised it was working fine albeit a few tweaks. All others tried to sell me a new system $9,000 and $12,000 quotes (Roy’s).
No need to go anywhere else. Five stars plus!

Very friendly and had just the right parts

Our garbage disposal rusted and we had our under sink flooded. We called Keiffer and they responded quickly, sent a repairman the same day. Within an hour, he had removed the old one and installed a new one. He was professional, worked efficiently and did immaculate work. He answered our questions and checked our hot water heater before leaving. We would highly recommend Keiffer!

I booked an appointment yesterday, was told the repair person would arrive between 8am and noon. 20 after 12 I call them, they say the person will be on their way soon. They also took this opportunity to tell me that the service call would cost approx $130. I explained I was not told about this charge when I booked, the person I was speaking to copped an attitude. I told them to forget it. I will be taking my business to someone who is upfront about fees and knows how to be polite and professional.

I called to get an estimate on having A/C installed. Was given at time and date that either Gene, Morgan or Jake would show up. Took time off. No one showed. Called the company and Amy told me she was sorry but a bunch of people called off and that there’s nothing she can do. Apparently not even call me to cancel. Very unprofessional. There’s a lot of competition out there, my suggestion would be to use someone else.

I have had several large projects done by Keiffer. The installed a new furnace, rebuilt the basement drainage system, and installed a new sump and drainage system. Very pleased with the work each time.

Had water backing up from our main drain. I called and explained the problem in the morning, and he said he thought he knew what it may sound like and could have a technician out that afternoon. He also quoted detailed pricing so we knew what to expect. The plumber sent word he was on the way within the time frame I was given. He assessed the issue and knew exactly how to get us fixed up. Also VERY reasonably priced, in my opinion.

What a harsh winter it’s been! Our furnace had enough of it too & finally gave up! But thankfully for Keiffer Heating Cooling & Plumbing, they did an absolutely amazing job replacing it so that we’re warm and toasty again! From our first call to their friendly office staff, to the skillful and polite service technicians, we’ve had a first-rate experience with their professionalism and personable customer care. They were right on time, prepared, and mindful of our property. They’re a top-notch company to contact with any of your heating, cooling, or plumbing needs. Efficient, quick and great work!

Made appointment for maintenance on my furnace.the day of my appointment called a half-hour before the end of the 4 hr window for location of Service Technician.I was informed my appt.was pushed back, during cold weather to the following week. UNACCEPTABLE OR NOT PROFESSIONAL

Awesome HVAC and plumbing business. I can't say enough good things about them

I couldn't keep the pilot lit and I tried all night switching our little space heater from room to room trying to keep my family warm so first thing I stared looking for a local co. After the first one gave me a headache I found Kieffer and thank God I did. He came in and had the problem fixed in 10 seconds by cleaning the dust from the pipe that was blocking the pilot, he charged only for the service call when he could have told me I needed a new furnace. I was warm and happy. Thank you Keiffer
