My technician was very professional and informative. I had issues with the pilot light on my furnace not staying on. My technician cleaned the heat sensor and also did a tune up and cleaned everything out the best they could. They spent a fair amount of time doing the tune up, and also took pictures of the inside of the unit to show me the condition of certain components like the coils and blower motor. They were very thorough, and the dispatchers/customer service are very friendly and professional.

Our technician, Chris S, was very professional, courteous and polite, introducing himself immediately. He then proceeded to provide outstanding customer service and an excellent customer experience, taking care of a water pipe leak we called about and another water pipe leak I had noticed just prior to him arriving. He worked quickly to repair the water pipe leaks, and completed the work leaving no mess leftover for us to clean up after. He diagnosed a toilet leak as needing a new wax seal, and upon our request to examine the current condition of the toilet, was able to provide us valuable information so that we could make a financially wise, educated decision to schedule a future appointment to replace the toilet, instead of simply replacing the seal (which he was more than willing to do, not pushy at all). Chris S was the ideal tech, extremely qualified and personable, and someone I would highly recommend! I will definitely be calling Reimer for future plumbing, heating and cooling needs.***UPDATE***The toilet has been installed, technicians Todd T and Sam showed the same professionalism and expertise that seems to be a common theme with Reimer. Old toilet was removed and new toilet installed quickly and with no mess left to clean up. Again, I highly recommend Reimer!

I recently had Reimer service my heating/AC unit. I recently became a member of their service program. Well worth it. On Sunday night (Super Bowl Sunday), my heating system stopped working. Within a short time, Reimer sent out someone to fix the unit. He found the issue but did not have the correct part. The next day, someone came out and fixed the heating unit in 30 minutes.I have also used Reimer to repair a pipe to my water heater unit.I highly recommend Reimer. They respond immediately and costs are reasonable. The repair techs were highly professional and quite personable. They were patient with my questions and explained everything clearly.

Called a month ago to have my forced air furnace serviced,this company has been sending me flyers for years.Appointment was booked,the office staff member never inquired about my furnace,it's a standard forced air furnace.They have called twice to give me an appointment that was sooner( by a few days).I'm at home waiting for their arrival today, when their secretary called me and said the manager told her to call me as they cannot service the type of furnace that I have?Talk about unprofessional, I called and got another appointment with a reputable company,the gentleman told me ( after he chuckled) that Reimer absolutely services the kind of furnace I have!Luckily ,they are able to come in 3 days for half the price!I'm not recommending these guys to anyone!Just tell the truth,we had a storm and you have bigger,better jobs for more money.Super unprofessional!!!!! Our furnace stopped working. Andrew came to our house and evaluated the furnace. He told us what needed to be repaired and the approximate price of the repairs. He explained our options to repair the old furnace or purchase a new furnace. Since our present furnace is 15 years old, and the cost of the repairs would be quite costly, we opted to purchase a new furnace. He did a great job of explaining our options. He was very knowledgeable and patient answering all of our questions. We ultimately did purchase a new furnace which will be installed next week.

Communication was outstanding, you receive texts with your technicians name.No pressure sales.Scott Skora was awesome - diagnosed our furnace immediately and explained how bad it was while showing me on the furnace.Showed me all my options - I could pick and choose add-ons.Simple financing. We used Reimer again today for more plumbing and replacement of our washtub in the basement. Carl and Cody did a fantastic job, and Marty came out right away initially to evaluate the job! We have never been disappointed by this company. They are always efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and every one of their service guys is friendly and treats you like family. They assess and give you your options without being pushy salesman. They do great work and clean up after leaving it the way it was when they came in. They send 6 month reminders for regular HVAC maintenance which is great for busy people who might not remember those things. Furnace quit during 2022 blizzard. Call to Reimer resulted in almost immediate Facetime call back from Dennis who guided us in restoring heat. Appearance of corrosion (of which we were aware) caused us to request free followup safety check.When Scott arrived a few days later - on time and date we wanted - he used camera to show us significant interior damage to furnace and AC. We asked for suggestions and received carefully explained options along with analysis of what we wanted in a new system and thorough answers to our questions. No sales pressure, just relevant and rational discussion. We chose a system and scheduled installation for two days later. Again, Tim and Carmen arrived on time, were professional, helpful, expert in their work, and careful of our home. After cleanup, Tim explained use and features of systems, gave suggestions, and answered all questions. Everyone involved was polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and open to answering all questions with patience and completeness. No hesitation to use Reimer for additional projects/work.In May, 2023, Chris came out to charge and set up AC unit. Prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Performed all work efficiently, and answered all questions we had. Once again, we are pleased and extremely satisfied to be using Reimer.And once again we turned to Reimer when problems arose with our 80 year old galvanized pipes. Mitch came out, analyzed the problems, answered my multiple questions, and provided an estimate and plan for the needed work. First of all... I am writing this on the basis of anonymity due to the risk of retribution during future services.Very aggressive sales tactic, and no means a salty behavior:Gotta say, pretty impressive sales tactic (sarcasm). The guys who come out... give a good sales pitch with binder and everything. They make everything sound so glittery, but in reality there's a decent amount of lack of transparency. If I had to pit this against a real life example... these guys are equivalent to Jordan Belfort from Wolf of Wall Street. Very aggressive sales tactic... they won't take no for an answer without repeating the same pitch again and again till you say yes. If you still say no, you can clearly sense the bitterness in their tone and posture. My first experience with their representative, the individual got outright angry and refused to do the service he promised he would do and simply said I can't do this, you didn't want to go through with installation. Here's the fee for me coming out to your house. I know their type of sales tactic because my employer at the Delta Sonic also has us use the precisely same sales tactic. Tbh, this has a negative reflection of their professionalism.For transparency part:I am still testing out the limitations of the equipments installed... but so far going as basic as possible. During their sales pitch they say: we will install smart thermostatS* that you can control via cell. In reality: one basic ecobee thermostat is included with the purchase (a purchase of over $11k), the second one they install is a basic industry standard Honeywell thermostat that has horrible reviews (1.8/5). Let me remind you... this was a job that costed over $11k. Had they been transparent about the thermostats, I would have purchased the thermostats myself and have them install it... now my house looks like a room with newer smart thermostat.. and 2nd room with old 2010s' thermostat from different company. There goes a dent to your home presentation should guests arrive.I will update review once I find more issues with the transparency... but so far 3/5. Some of them are fairly nice guys.another update:I got told that the first year warranty for heating is free, then yearly you have to pay for warranty. 2nd, you have to maintain and service the heating with us otherwise the warranty will void. No salesman ever said this till the system was installed. 0 transparency.

That same day(!), a technician was at my house at 4:30 on a Friday in the pouring rain. David Mersdorf has got to be the absolute best service technician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Very, very impressed with Reimer. From beginning to end, the process to replace our furnace and install new, along with central air, was a snap. They were able to squeeze our install project in less than a week, which was a godsend in this heat wave. Dean, Tyler, and Sean were my techs - they were professional, pleasant, answered all my questions (and some I didn't think to ask). They explained the entire process as we went along, even suggested I take video and pictures, which my husband appreciated. Have had the system in for a week and couldn't be happier. The crazy blizzard of 2022! During a major outage, our 24v transformer was blown when the power went out (on, off, on off, blown)... :( We called Reimer to get emergency assistance... There was a complete ban for days! :( ... The technician called us directly and offered assistance over the phone with a trick to swap out the 24v transformer with another in the house. We were running a med generator for a few electric outlets. After almost 36 hours of no heat and electricity. We got the power back on, and able to run the furnace because of his assistance, to make it through! So thankful for the tech's expertise and ALWAYS depend on Reimer!!!!! Recommend 😀

We hired Reimer to replace our 25 year old boiler with a forced air system, complete with central air and a mini-split that heats and cools for our second floor. The job took 3 days and we received a phone call each morning with the estimated time of arrival. The installers were very receptive to the many questions we had and were sure to include us on any decisions that needed to be made. They were very conscious of our two cats and made sure they cleaned up after themselves each day with a more thorough cleaning when the job was done. The final explanation of the system in totality and explanation of how to operate was done when they finished as well. There was some additional demo work that needed to be done and the installers were very gracious to that fact. The estimate proved to be almost right on with what the actual cost was, the only thing additional was a few hundred dollars for the unanticipated demo. Overall, for such a large project, it went extremely smooth and everything that was promised was delivered. We highly recommend Reimer!!

The service people from Reimer did an exceptional job. I had them there to inspect our air-conditioning units and they discovered some significant problems and we will be proceeding with their help to fix our problem. What was so outstanding was that the service man, James, was so personable and professional. While we are inspecting the house, we found a bat. James couldn’t have been nicer in trying to help me locate the services to try to have the bat removed. He really went out of his way to contact relatives who could give us advice. He was so kind and performed his job so efficiently and professionally that I was quite impressed. Derek was very professional in his assessment of our problem and helped come up with a solution. Our air conditioning system was not working properly and Reimer sent technician Andrew Westpfahl out to our home to diagnose the issue. After looking everything over, he did a great job in explaining the situation and all our options to resolve the problem. My wife and I decided to go with a brand new furnace and A/C system for peace of mind and Andrew went above and beyond to get us set up. The following morning they sent an installation crew (Gavin Zaczek and Tyler Barnes) out to begin the job. These guys did a fantastic job of installing the new A/C system, furnace, and digital thermostat. They also did such a good job cleaning up, that you wouldn’t even know an installation took place. These technicians were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. On Saturday our 20 year old hot water tank began leaking. We called Reimer and within an hour they had Blake out to see what went wrong. He throughly explained the problem and schedules the earliest appointment they had available. Chris Lorenz came promptly Monday morning to install a new hot water tank with new valves and gas line. I am selling a property in Amherst. Reimer installed a Carrier a/c unit in July 2021. The unit was installed poorly. It's leaking oil and coolant due to sloppy installation. Reimer refused to service it because the owner has to make the appointment. The owner is out of town. I offered to take responsibility yet they still refused. I had another HVAC contractor, whom I have used for years, inspect the unit. Reimer is no longer locally owned and is just another corporate operation. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NEVER USING THIS COMPANY. I have used Reimer for the past several years since the purchase of my home. This visit was to give an estimate to replace all galvanized water pipe to copper. The estimate came in at exactly where I expected and the representative was professional, courteous, on time, friendly and he took the time to explain what was going to get the work completed and the time frame was totally acceptable. Adam showed up at 8 pm to repair a “busted pipe” in our drop ceiling. He worked quickly and even showed me that it wasn’t a pipe but the neighbors thawed out fridge from a couple days prior. Adam was professional and quick. I would recommend this service and especially Adam to do your repairs!!

I received a call from Reimer the other day reminding me that I was entitled to a 1 year service and maintenance visit at no charge as a part of the purchase, and scheduled the visit for today. Dustin came out today and checked over (and cleaned) my AC unit, answered some questions about the limitless water heating system I had installed last year, and explained what maintenance programs they have available going forward. On 5/31/2023 I called Reimer to schedule an appointment for a quote on new toilet installation. Marty came that Friday, the 2nd. Nicest guy ever. Explained everything to me and walked me through the process. I scheduled the installation for 5/5/2023. Todd arrived in the afternoon and got right to work. I was prepared for there to be additional issues, especially after learning from Marty the toilets were most likely original installations when the house was built in the early 50s. Sure enough, there were which will require additional work, but Todd explained everything clearly, and why it needed to be done that way.All in all my experience with Reimer was AMAZING. I called Reimer for a furnace winter maintenance check. They called on the morning of the appointment to confirm the time and then sent a text with the technician's photo. After examining the furnaces, Scott told me that they were a brand that Reimer didn't service and that the furnaces were still under warranty. He said that although he could check and clean them today, that action would destroy the warranty since Reimer's didn't work with/wasn't authorized by the dealer (Lennox). So, he left without even charging for the house call! I would recommend Reimer for any home service based on integrity alone.

Our 30+ year old furnace finally took a turn for the worse. Reimer had a tech to our house within hours. He was very transparent and professional while reviewing the various options available to us for replacement. Our new furnace install was then scheduled for 3 days later. The install crew was also extremely professional. They arrived on time and were very helpful when explaining how the new furnace and thermostat worked, including any required homeowner maintenance. They were also helpful in determining where to vent the furnace. They left the worksite spotless and there was zero mess after they left. As far as pricing goes, I thought the cost was very reasonable. Honestly, I'm not sure if this process could have been any easier. The next time we have an HVAC issue they will definitely be the first contractor that I call.

Used this company for routine cleaning/maintenance of heating furnace. The tech, Craig, was very professional and friendly! 5 stars for him! Katie, the answering secretary/ appt coordinator was less than friendly and the experience with her was ridiculous. My schedule appt was 9-12 and nobody showed up or called. When calling to inquire, find out they never took down my # or email and so cancelled the appt. Once I called, they put me back on schedule and showed up at 3:30 pm same day. This place is the real deal. From the people answering my call and being super helpful to the great technician Dustin they sent out to fix my A/C. Usually I don’t leave reviews but I just had to for this place. I called Remier late morning when my A/C stopped blowing cold air the night before. I was just hoping to possibly have someone out before the end of the week so I didn’t have to wait until the following Monday with no A/C. They said they would have someone out that day and I was like wow really? Well how much will that cost? Figuring it would be way more expensive for same day service. It wasn’t. I got a call and text from them late that afternoon updating me on when the technician would arrive. When Dustin did arrive he was absolutely awesome. He quickly diagnosed the problem and even took me over the the A/C unit to show me exactly what was wrong and explained everything to me very thoroughly. It was a bad capacitor. After talking with him he had seen we hit a bad streak of luck with other problems going wrong with our house and he and his boss did what they could to give me the best possible price. We have had Reimer do a few things in our home. They have installed a new furnace and done yearly check ups on it and most recently cleaned out our plumbing vent and drains and replaced our toilet, shut off valve and water lines. Andrew came within a few hours of my call to them. My air conditioning was not working properly. He diagnosed the issues and determined I needed a new unit. While here I asked him to look at my furnace also as it it older and has given me a few problems this past winter. We discussed the problems and decided it was best to change both units out at this time. He spent a lot of time explaining the cost and cost effectiveness of different units. Great Company! Lou diagnosed the problem with my old boiler. The boiler was unsafe and costing me a lot of money to run. My new boiler runs beautifully and when I got my new heating bill, I was amazed at the savings. He was honest, professional and very knowledgeable and told me exactly what to expect. My toilet was plugged on a Sunday night and I couldn't free up the clog myself. I have never used a plumber in the Buffalo area so I decided to call around. I waited until Monday morning around 9:00am to call since I didn't want to try and get someone out on a Sunday after hours.The first company I called (not Reimer) asked if I needed emergency service. I was a bit shocked by this question as it was 1st thing on a Monday morning and I told them it wasn't exactly an emergency but I would like someone out as soon as possible. The dispatcher told me that the earliest they could get someone out would be on Friday, but if I wanted their emergency rate they would have someone out to me within 2 hours. I understand that they were probably busy and that may have just been their business model, but going from 5 days to 2 hours if I paid more money seemed like a bit much to me.Long story short, I decided to call Reimer and see what they could do. They were able to get a plumber out to my house 1 hour and 45 minutes later with their normal billing rate.Marty came and was able to get the drain unclogged of Tree Roots using the snake after about 50 minutes. He was extremely polite and professional the whole time he was at my house. Marty also gave me a couple different options with their respective prices before doing any of the work. He made sure to test the cleared drain several times before he left to make sure the pipe was functioning properly.As he was leaving, Marty also offered me a couple different preventative steps in order to help keep the tree roots under control. This didn't just include services Reimer offered, but also some low cost options I could buy at the store. This showed he wasn't just trying to sell me a service I didn't specially need, but instead a level of care that you don't always see with these types of companies.

I have always used Reimer for our air conditioning, furnace and other HVAC needs. Over the years they have simply been the best in terms of price and quality of service. But we recently had a big plumbing issue where our house settled and sheered off the main pipe in the front of the house. In our neighborhood this seems to be a common issue but it is a big job since the area in front yard of our house needed to be excavated and the pipe replaced. And since Reimer was now doing plumbing I gave them a call. Todd (who is as master plumber) came out here and was very thorough in his explanation of what needed to be done. We scheduled the work and their entire crew was out there in a 3 days. They completed the job in a about 5-6 hours. I have to say they did an outstanding job. Their crew was very professional and knew their stuff. From my perspective as a business owner myself Reimer is how a business should be run. I would highly recommend.

Did not see a breakout of the labor rate, cost of components, etc. I felt a little stuck to have to take the appointment due to my own timing constraints (which is not the fault of Reimer Plumbing of course), even though price seems pretty high for a simple job. Hopefully the workmanship will be good, at least. May being looking elsewhere next time, however.

Brett and Andrew absolutely saved our Christmas when we were at our most vulnerable state! We were without power for 30 hours. Once the power was restored our heat would not work properly. At 4 am on CHRISTMAS morning dressed in coats in several layers we called from a freezing house many emergency heating services. Reimer was the only company that called us to support our emergency on Christmas morning. With a travel ban they leveraged video calls to trouble shoot all of the issues. We discovered 2 busted radiator pipes and we were able to restore heat to one of our upstairs zones. They were super responsive to our many calls, and were able to navigate remotely a very complex radiator system. Our family will remember Brett and Andrew's support and commitment for years to come.

As new homeowners, we have spent a significant amount of time trying to find the right local company to take care of our heating and plumbing needs. Right off the bat, Reimer was responsive and professional, and returned my call within a couple hours to schedule a visit that weekend. They addressed all of our concerns, and did an excellent job upgrading our failing system with a new combi-boiler. The entire installation was completed within around 5 hours.Not two days later, we experienced a bit of flooding in our basement, and Reimer was again the answer: This time, we submitted an online service request in the middle of the night, and they responded within the hour to schedule something for the next day. They cleaned and serviced our existing pump, and installed a backup system at our request to prevent any future flooding. We are very pleased with the workmanship, and how everyone kept us in the loop with what they were doing on-site.We have had the pleasure of working with Jerry, who was quickly able to point out problems with our boiler that 3 other companies didn't (valves installed backwards, for one!), Marty who calmed us down and clearly explained the cause of the flooding and the options available to fix it for good, and Chris, the Sump Pump Whisperer, who got our existing pump back into shape and installed our backup unit, and who also called us in the middle of the night to answer our panicked service request. I wish I had also gotten the names of the other installers on the crew, who, in addition to being polite and clean, did not appear to even take any breaks, and didn't mind that I was there playing video games across the room from them for like 3 hours! Amanda's work should also receive acknowledgement for having to talk to me on the phone and interpret my idiot layman-speak into a comprehensible work request.All in all, dealing with Reimer was a great experience. Everyone was really cool! We will be dealing with them exclusively going forward.

I had scheduled an appointment to have my hot water tank assessed to determine whether it needed to be replaced or not upon having a home inspection to sell our house. Carl, the service man who came to assess the tank was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the situation with my tank and had some other great suggestions about concern the potential buyers had with our home. 5/9/23 I was contacted by Amanda, who informed me that there would NOT have been a second charge and this was incorrect information. She apologized repeatedly. I was then contacted by John, who apologized as well and issued a full refund for the service. I think that it’s very big of a company to reach out, admit mistake, and correct a wrong! Impressed by that5/4/23 Editing the review. It is 3 days since I was told my hot water tank issue was resolved and back to normal. My hot water tank pilot light is out again, and once again I have no hot water. I was told it was just the safety trigger which was reset. Obviously not. I called Reimer at 9pm today and was told by Steve that because the hot water tank was not installed by them (previous homeowner had it installed) they would charge me ANOTHER service fee to come out and look at it. I JUST paid $216 for them to look at it 72 hours ago to tell me it was all good. Now I’ll get charged again to do the same thing?5/1/23 Very impressed with Reimer! So I did this for Duffett Brothers last year, but now that they are owned or partnered with Reimer I want to leave a fresh review. I have to say once again, these guys came in clutch for me and exceeded all expectations again. I had a tankless water heater put in last year, but due to the quality of water where I lived and a defect the water heater was destroyed and I lost hot water. I called these guys and they sent Chris first to evaluate. Chris put our minds at ease, found the issue, and quickly and efficiently scheduled an appointment for the next day to not only repair this issue but also install a filtration system to avoid future issues. Chris then helped us secure financing that was insanely beneficial and consumer friendly so that we could get this done and I have to say he really set the standard on this. Sure enough, Todd and Steven showed up to do the work the next day and absolutely nailed it. They were extremely friendly and professional. They were excellent in regards to time. They crushed this job for us. If you are reading this, you have to know that this decision to work with Reimer is ultimately the best decision you will make in regards to plumbing. These people care and they go out of their way to make you feel like they're going to not only help you but treat you like a valued customer which is extremely rare today. Chris, Todd, and Steven deserve something award or merit wise for this exemplary service. My husband Joe called Reimer about the sewer line since the Town of Amherst thought we had a sewer break issue. Chris @ Reimer scoped the line and did not see a problem so he suggested I call the Town and have them come back and investigate further and offered to return when they were there. We had a laundry vent that was severely blocked.The vent ran up through the wall and over another wall. There was no way we were going to clear it. When we were looking for someone we could call, Google showed they had a great rating. We thought this was going to cost us a boat load to open two walls and re-run the vent line. Instead they came up with an alternative run that was extremely reasonable.Chris Reimer came over initially to evaluate the work that needed to be done and made the first suggestion, but since it wasn't what he did all the time he called Todd, who to our great surprise came over the same day.He agreed with Chris and began the work right away. Both gentlemen were very professional and personable at the same time. Todd took his time and explained everything that he was doing. After a thorough annual furnace/AC checkup Andrew Westpfahl showed us how the furnace needed to be replaced based of the deteriorating condition of the heat exchanger, and also that the AC heat pump was also ready for replacement. He also showed us how to use the dampers in the ductwork to even out the temperature through the house. He spent a lot of time explaining our options and was very informative. After this lengthy discussion we decided on the new systems. Andrew’s knowledge and careful explanation made our decision easy.

Todd from Reimer was able to replace our homes’s main water supply shutoff that was as old as the 57 year old house and had a bad leak. The replacement turned out to be more complex than originally thought due to how the pipes were laid out, but Todd was able troubleshoot the issue and fix our problem.

I had a service check up on my a/c unit today. This is the first time having this done having only been in my home for a year and a half. Was unsure who to call when I received a reminder card in the mail addressed to the to the previous home owner, so I said why not give them a call.I was greeted by a friendly technician named Lou, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about my unit. He explained things that would be a potential to be needing to be fixed in the future on both my a/c and heating unit. He even had an extra filter for my unit which saved me a trip to the store.Lou even showed me my compressor outside and suggested that I may want to look into changing out my a/c unit sometime in the next few years. (mine is 16 years old)I was very pleased and satisfied with the service I received for my a/c inspection. Lou took the time to explain everything and I didn't feel pressured at all. He even took the time to explain how the ducts in your house should be cleaned. I had mine done last year and I'm not sure they were done properly.Thanks and a Job Well Done Lou!! I would recommend Reimer to a friend for sure!!

We called Reimer when we had sewage back up into our basement. They were pretty much the only company willing to come out at 9 pm to help. Steven was in contact with me and gave me an estimated arrival time as he was at another job already. He showed up on time (quickly~ about 1.5 hrs after I called initially), was able to clear the blockage and make sure we were good to go for the time being. He set us up for a more thorough follow up appt. in the morning. He was kind, sympathetic, empathetic and definitely tried to offer me hope as I’m crying in my kitchen about our absolutely destroyed basement. Thankful for them and Steven in our time of need!

Cannot say enough about Reimer Plumbing, especially, Marty Rosso! We have a 1902 House in the City of Buffalo and the plumbing was just a tangled mess between the original galvanized and several prior owners amateur fixes. Marty Rosso came out to our House and examined every inch of plumbing (basement to 2nd floor) and carefully reviewed our options. In the end, we had the confidence to have Reimer perform an entire re-piping of the hot and cold basement lines all the way back to the City main. Now, the main line into the house, as well as each trunk has a working shut-off valve and the tangled mess is gone! 9 months later (January 2023) we replaced a dishwasher and Marty Rosso came back to update the kitchen line to accommodate new standards and Reimer did it as a warranty claim at no cost to us! Reimer's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction cannot be beat!

I'm so glad I chose this company, they even installed smoke and CO2 detectors, and the furnace warranty is transferable. This was first time we’ve called Reimer HV/AC and we would def call them again. We had a problem with a very old minisplit AC unit. The tech Scott S was very prompt and professional and explained the problem clearly - he was able to get it working and advised us how to use the unit more efficiently. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for any other problems and also plan to call them when we replace this unit.Scheduling an appointment was also very easy and we were notified who was coming and when they would be expected. Very good experience.

Not sure how the cleaning of our furnace went, I'm sure it's fine as he seemed to know what he was doing. But the professionalism of the technician was absolutely terrible. We have an older furnace but we did work on it within a year or so and we plan on doing consistent maintenance so that it will last. Having been a home owner for almost 10 years and 2 houses, whenever someone comes into your home they're going to try to sell you on something. That's expected and everyone knows the song-and-dance. But this guy literally told us there are people like me (who like to be prepared) and people like you. After being quite pleasant for the 1st few tries we eventually just said if we need someone, we'll call them. We're not interested in buying a new furnace right now. But he was quite rude and kept pushing and making comments like that. Congratulations - your flyer worked and we tried out your company! We will never be back.

Always a pleasant experience with friendly and professional technicians! Whether an unexpected repair or new install, we can always count on Reimer to take care of us. Our A/C died several weeks ago when temps were in the high 80's. Scott was at our house within hours to diagnose the problem and advise us on a new unit. He was able to work some magic on our old A/C to hold us over and keep us cool until our new A/C could be installed a couple days later. We had a new furnace put in by Reimer after it was found that repairing our old (non-working) furnace just didn't make sense for the cost and age of the furnace. We were so happy with the service we received from Reimer! Everyone we encountered, from our first phone call to the actual installation of our new furnace, was professional and friendly. Lou S. initially came out and looked at our old furnace, and went over all our options with us. We appreciated how knowledgable he was, and the time he spent explaining everything to us. Josh and Dean came out and installed our new furnace, and they were again very knowledgeable, treated our home with care, and were just all around very professional. I especially appreciated that they took the time to show us how to change the air filter in the new furnace, how to use our new thermostat, and installed a new smoke/CO2 detector for us. I was in the market to replace my 18 year old hot water tank. Steven came out and walked through a bunch of different options. I was undecided about installing a new tank or converting to a tankless unit. Our 40 gallon hot water tank went out after only 7 years. Reimer responded with a quick turnaround and put in a new tankless water heater for us. This company was top Notch in customer service from start to finish. I started researching air conditioning installation and they were recommended to me through Lowe’s. They immediately set up an appointment with me to come out and have a consultation with me. John from Reimer was an amazing educator for me in my new house. He had me stay by him every step of the way and he showed me everything that he was going to do and everything that needed to be done. He provided me an even better financing option then I thought I was getting through the Lowe’s credit card. He qualified me for financing through Wells Fargo. Within four days he had the air conditioning installation date. The two young guys that came to my house were Tyler and Gavin. Again, top-notch people and they showed me everything they did and educated me on the system. They finish the job in about five hours. My house has never had AC before and they did a seamless job. The unit looks beautiful outside and it’s nice and clean on the inside. They left me confident in how to use my AC system and very cool. I am fully satisfied with my selection and I would highly recommend them to anyone

I am a very happy customer after receiving the right service and excellent value for the money! I became a first-time Reimer user in September, 2021 after being less than thrilled with the replies I received when calling around and finding few available to help, more than a few with little patience for me, many that wanted to charge a surcharge just for coming to my location, and with many others getting bad reviews from neighbors or online. Reimer had none of this. I was immediately impressed with Reimer's service start to finish! From the receptionists who promised to put a smile on my face, (which I am sure they are tired of saying, but they really did), to the incredible professional they sent out, Journeyman Plumber Marty Rosso. Marty was patient, incredibly kind, listened carefully, then knew just what to do. He didn't suggest services that could have cost more, but rather literally got his hands dirty putting in a bit of hard work that paid off exactly as hoped, unclogging a nasty clogged drain that was in the pipe under my house and all the way out to the sewer. He did this seemingly effortlessly, all through decades of experience that told him exactly what to do. On top of this, Marty explained what he was doing the whole way, detailing likely pricing and choices before proceeding, while doing it all with an incredible life philosophy of pure happiness at all times, which he explained to me and which, quite frankly, wore off on me quite a bit. He even told me his catch phrase he thinks to himself when faced with negativity and to remain upbeat at all times. Don't harsh my mellow, he said. My gosh, where else would one ever find a plumber like this? He kindly helped me check on a couple other small issues, along with taking extra time to give me great advice, while not charging anything further, which I would imagine he could have. Reimer may not be the cheapest solution out there, but is not that expensive either and from my experience, you can count on them to be extremely effective, professional, and absolutely worth the price for your peace of mind. If you can get Marty for you plumbing problems, do it! You will be in good hands. Thank you Marty and thank you Reimer.

Our family had a carbon monoxide scare on Christmas Eve morning. We were forced to run to our neighbor's in a blizzard. Shawn and his crew did an excellent job installing our new furnace/hot water heater. Our old furnace, along with a couple of hot water heaters were old and the gas and water pipe hookups were a mess. They completely redid the the whole system and it looks and works amazingly. But this company really shined when we had to call them back to repair a leak in an old air release valve. They spent almost 5 hours fixing this, and there was no charge. They truly stand behind their work. I highly recommend them - especially Shawn.

Called for an appointment for a boiler/furnace check and had Scott Skora come out and access my situation. He was very polite and took the time to explain my options and had been here in the past, so it was very easy to communicate with him. You could tell right away he was highly experienced at his job. Turned out I needed a whole new set up and decided to get the Combi/boiler installment. The installers who were Stone, Ryan and Carmen did an amazing job. Late on Christmas Eve I noticed that our house was getting very cool as the temperature outside was about 8 degrees. Our furnace was not blowing any air at all. Would not recommend, and use again. I had Reimer install a new furnace, and a humidifier. The water line to the humidifier started leaking. I called their 24/7 service and they told me to turn the water off and they would come back a fix it a different day. About a week later they came out to fix the problem. The guy who came out and blamed the installers saying they used the wrong fitting and they should have known better. I woke up the next morning after he left, the line had burst, and completely flooded my garage, causing personal and property damage. I called the 24/7 service and the guy on call that day refused to come out to my house and do anything. He told me there was nothing he could do about the problem and a manager would contact me. They called me the next day to schedule someone to come out and fix the problem. I requested to talk to a manager about how they were going to handle the damages. I was told the manager would be calling that day. He never called. I called their office for a week straight looking to talk to the manager, and was told every time he would contact me. About a week and a half later, i finally talked to the manager. I asked how they were going to reimburse me for all of the damage caused. He told me he would look into it. I hadn't heard back from them from that. I again had to call for a week and a half again to talk to the manager. He tried to blame me for not giving him an estimate for the damage when i did. He told me they were going to have to go through insurance. It took them another 2-3 weeks to make the claim. This whole process took 3 months to settle, because they are impossible to deal with. I had almost $6000 in damage! I called the manager to tell him how unhappy i was with them and this experience. He acted like it wasn't that big of a deal. For a company who cares so much about their reputation, their customer service is absolutely terrible. They acted like they did nothing wrong, and this wasn't that big of a deal. their 24/7 service is useless. I've had to call it 3 times since they installed the furnace and every time they refused to come out. I will never use this company again, and would never recommend them to anyone. Stay away!

Mark came at the in the time slot given to me by the office. He helped me to understand the humidity and summer air flow setting on the furnace, changed the filter and at my request checked the furnace heat exchange system to confirm earlier information that I had received. I was very much set at peace by his rechecking the readings on the heat exchange after cleaning whatever. The reading was improved. I thank him for his thoroughness. That plus additional information given by him and Kevin, in the office, is invaluable towards helping us to make a repair/replacement decision in the near future.

I have been a happy Reimer customer for over 15 years. I recently contacted Reimer to have an old AC replaced. The technician Greg came out and did a great job outlining the replacement, and Tim and Tyler did a great job with the installation. I just got a new air conditioning unit last summer when my old one stopped working, I was told my unit was very old, and so I got a brand new one. Immediately after it was installed, the next day, the new one stopped working. They came out and fixed it, but someone who installed it left a leak which caused it to freeze/thus not work. Fast forward a year; it was working through the spring, and beginning of summer, but then I had my 1 year maintenance visit in June, and it was said to be fine, though they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I can't afford. I signed up for the monthly membership to try to make maintenance calls easier. Less than a month after the annual maintenance call it stopped working. It barely was pushing out any air. I got the warranty specialist come, who gaslighted me, told me everything was fine, and that it was because the vents in the basement were closed - even though their own technician the year before closed those vents because he said it would help cool the upstairs. He told me to run the unit all day, which I did and it eventually, after 6-8 hours, got within 2 degrees of the set temp (and it was set to 73, while the house was 78 degrees to start). The very next day (today) it stopped working again, very little air is coming out, it's 76 degrees outside, it was set to 71, and after 2 hours of running, it would not decrease 2 degrees from 73 to 71. I called them, furious, and all they could do for me (which is not the office folk's fault) is set up an appointment for 4 days from now and make a note that I was not willing to wait). I also tried to chat with them online and explained the circumstance and that I already had an appointment for 4 days in the future, and the chat person ignored me, and tried to book me another appointment for 4 days in the future. I am so desperate for it to work, as I am still paying it off, and it's only a year old unit, that I threatened legal action for not honoring the warranty. I am pretty sure that's not even an option but I am in dire straits (I do apologize for threatening that but I needed someone to react). I received a call back a little later, and spoke to them, in tears, and explained the situation. The only saving grace for this company is that every person I spoke with on the phone was extremely gracious and understanding, and they did all within their power to help me. The company as a whole gets an D. This is unacceptable, I have done nothing but use my air conditioning within normal limits and expect it to work, and I have been told that it's because the vents in my basement were closed. Or because I set the temp too low (68-69 apparently is too low).To the women on the phone who answered my calls and helped set up appointments while being very sweet and sympathetic, thank you very much - a few names I think I remember are Abby and Denise - you are both angels. Every woman I spoke to on the phone from the company deserves a raise.To the rest of Reimer - do better.I will also say that most of the men who come to work on the machines, and who diagnosed issues, have all been very polite and kind and seemed knowledgeable, but if this keeps happening idk how knowledgeable they can really be. The person yesterday, who was the warranty specialist, was very dismissive and I did not appreciate it. Here I am with a non-functioning unit, and he can be quoted saying yesterday that if it's 75 degrees outside it should work. It's 75 degrees outside. It isn't working.Update post appointment today: David is a hero. He should be running the whole business. He came and was a great listener, validated what I was experiencing and took his time to thoroughly figure out what the root cause was. While he provided a solution he also was extremely polite, knowledgeable and made me feel way better about everything. His kindness could honestly bring me to tears (the good kind this time). Plus, my AC is already working better before he's even left. I literally could not be more grateful that this was the technician sent today. David for President, honestly.

On Sunday I called due to no heat, in approximately 1 hour Mark showed up to check the furnace out. He found that the blower was not working and needed to be replaced. He also showed me that the exhaust motor was making noise. He gave me an approximate cost and showed me the manufacture date of the furnace, 17.5 years old. He said he could replace the parts but how much longer would it last. I had him work up an estimate and he explained everything in detail. At that point I said replace the furnace.Today, Monday, Nick and Joshua showed up to do the installation. They called when on the way, looked things over and went to work. They replaced the furnace, humidifier, air intake and exhaust lines, changed the gas valve, discharge pump and drain line and thermostat. They again explained everything they replaced and showed us how to program the thermostat. Upon completion they did a fantastic job of cleaning up and hauled everything away.Don't know why anyone would hire a different company!!They are the BEST!!!!!

Reimer came to replace my 30+ year old furnace boiler and hot water tank with a combo tankless system. The team showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. Needless to say my house is a mixed bag of construction and additions, and they had to overcome some challenges. Unfortunately some baseboards didn’t work that night but they were back early the next day to take care of it. One of my friends that has done installs before complimented their work after seeing a photo of it. This was my first experience with HVAC replacement and I am very happy with their service.

Carl repaired a leak in our copper pipes and came back with Adam on a second day, right on schedule, to remove our old water softener and hot water tank. I posted an unfavorable review back in March of this year. Reimer immediately contacted me and insisted on coming out to my home to reconcile. They offered me cement and landscaping work to address the recently installed sewer line if I took the review down. We shook hands; I took the review down. Four months later, I have not heard from Reimer.So here is my original post:BEWARE: These guys work on commission and swing for the fences to maximize their pay checks. Scheduled a cleaning and ended up with a two guys trying to hard sell me $25k in replacements and repairs. Got two second opinions; both discovered no issues.Called Reimer to unclog a drain two months prior to the heating system call and ended up with $12k sewer line replacement. I feel like I may have been taken to the cleaners.They did a great job on the sewer line, but totally disillusioned by their sincerity, intentions and truthfulness.I will never call again.

I called the 24hr service number on my furnace because it was out and reluctantly blowing cold air. It was 7pm 63° inside and 21° outside. The company number on my furnace didn't have anyone available until tomorrow so I found Reimer after a quick Google search- noted to excellent reviews and recognized their truck images on the website (nice work!). Overall very satisfied with the service from Reimer. Scheduled a furnace cleaning. Was concerned when the Tech said he was going to have bad news before he even looked at the furnace. Showed me some of the issues with the furnace with photos from a camera put in the furnace. I'm not a furnace tech but the deficiencies he mentioned were not that severe. Tried using scare tactics such as mentioning carbon monoxide poisoning. My furnace was 23 years old and I knew it was ready to quit but would have definitely made it through the winter. Bought a great Carrier furnace for an ok price. Installers were great very professional. Except they forgot to turn my hot water tank back on. Woke up to an ice cold shower!! Overall would use this company again in the future.

Needed an estimate and Marty came out. He did a fabulous job advising what we needed and promptly set up a installation time. Carl came out the next day and installed a new sump pump. He did a fantastic job.

I had a leaking shut off valve on my toilet that I attempted to replace myself and made the problem worse forcing me to surn off all the water. I called several places that could not get someone out for at least a day.I found Reimer on a Google search and called them and from now on they will be my first call for any future work. They had someone at my home 3 hours after I called and the technician Martin Rosso was excellent.He was friendly respectful knowledgeable and was able to quickly repair what I could not. While I had him on site I asked him to do a few other jobs that I needed and he performed those as well. I am very happy with the work and you now have a future customer and I will recommend you to anyone that asks me if I know someone to call.

Middle of a blizzard and no one is on the road. My furnace went down-clogged intake vent pipe. Andrew, a Reimer tech, called and talked me through removing the heater box cover so my furnace could get air from the basement. I'm back up and running and my house is warm. Andrew was patient, professional, and very knowledgeable. He said they will be out to do a proper repair after the storm. What a huge asset Andrew is for the Reimer team.

I've used Reimer home services for multiple installations. I had an HVAC and AC unit cleaned and Brett was so easy to work with and very professional. I have also had plumbing services done and Steven Lakes has been to my house a few times. He's been awesome to work with and thoroughly explained what was going on and things to help in the future. I recommend calling Reimer for whatever home service you need. I won't be looking anywhere else and joined the membership program knowing I'm in good hands living in an older home.

I use Reimer for my HVAC and plumbing needs. I recently asked them to come out to check a couple things on the new air conditioner that they installed a few months ago. George tested the system and found one item that needed to be adjusted. After making the adjustment he retested the system to confirm that the system was operating properly, which it now is. A new smart thermostat was installed when the furnace and air conditioner were installed so he also took the time to verify that it was set to the proper comfort levels and to explain some of the newer features, which are quite different from what our old system was able to do. Like the other Reimer technicians who have been to our house, George was very professional, helpful, and thorough.

I personally do not normally write reviews but felt like this company deserved a shout out. We recently had to have our heating and ac unit and a hot water tank installed. I believe we had a dean and Ryan working on our house. These guys were able to come next day to install and when I say they earned their pay that day, I mean it. They showed up around 8am and did not leave until everything was working and walked us through everything around 9pm. The one guy even swept our floor up which was not needed but appreciated. We have used a lot of contractors/workers with this house and in comparison, this company was very professional and helpful.

A small parts of my toilet flush was broken. As I have a preferred client membership(PCM), I called Reimer to fix the issue. First of all, the PCM phone number didn’t work, so I had to google them. Anyhow, the issue was real simple, but the technician made it a huge deal and was pushing me very hard to replace the whole toilet with price ~$975. I asked the technician whether he can fix the issue and he said they don’t have the parts, which I (the home owner) have to provide them or they can replace the whole toilet. I never got into this kind of situation where I had to provide the parts.So, I was going to replace the whole toilet but the toilet the technician showed me did not match with my other toilets in the house, so I asked the technician to come back as I have to think about it whether I will provide him with the similar toilet set I have. I have almost a new house in a very good neighborhood but the technician said I have a junk toilet set, which was not an acceptable comment. When I said let me talk to my wife about your toilet set, the technician said forget about it, I will bring the parts and will repair your toilet with $367 plus $107 service charge (include PCM discount). I asked him to fix the toilet as I am a very busy person and didn’t have time to call another company. The technician came back and it literally took him 5 minutes to repair the toilet. However, the whole experience was not pleasant. I’m sure the technician needs serious training how to conduct business!!!

Marty Russo provided awesome preventive maintenance to my hot water tank and Steven Lakes responded quickly and professionally when my Leakbreaker system had and unexpected problem. On the A/C side, Chris Reese, Brett Kelly, Derrick Smith, and Adam Bogart provided excellent, honest, and professional service when a problem with my A/C arose. They did not leave until they made absolutely sure my system was in working order. They always pick up the phone and respond professionally. I recently purchased a townhouse and the previous owners had an annual contract with Reimer, for a nominal fee, to service the furnace (which was new) and a/c. I reached out to Reimer to continue this annual service. I spoke with Kayla who was very friendly and helpful. Kayla advised me that the previous owners had already paid for the the annual contract and I was owed a check up on my a/c unit. On the day of service, Branden, a service technician, arrived to inspect my a/c unit. Branden was polite and professional. He took the time to explain everything and answer any questions that I had. My a/c unit was almost 20 years old and I had some concerns on its efficiency as well as my high electric bill. Branden explained my options. I chose to replace the unit, even though I knew I could get another year or so out of my existing unit. Jeff & Mark showed up the very next morning to install my new unit. These two guys were awesome. Jeff & Mark were very knowledgeable, polite and respectful. After the installation was complete, they explained everything to me and answered all my questions.

Reimer was found via Google and then Facebook. I called they were fast to respond and come inspect problems (leaking above kitchen, tub spout wasn’t sealed plugging correctly, and toilet concern) When the first plumber came out, he gave estimate for toilet and tub spout replacement to be $148. He told me didn’t think leak was due to bathroom and call roofer. My husband and I found leak was from tub drain from two small saw cuts in top of pvc. I called back to let them know. They sent someone different out. Was quoted $50 to fix leaky pipe using missions/pipe. Then I was concerned because tub spout was a different looking part but was assured it’s the correct kart that would work, also toilet part ordered was wrong by original plumber…but plumber looked at it that day and whatever was done he stopped leaking. Today pipe was repaired successfully and tub faucet is not forming perfect seal I will get second opinions.ChrisLorenz and Dakota were great get 5 stars for their service and professionalism and genuine empathy in trying to keep us happy and fairly charge and solve problems.I was just concerned in how the project scope was originally inspected and quoted.

Very professional but also nice. Jimmy was great, he explained what he was doing and didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need. He got here within the time I was told and was wearing a mask and booties. I belong to the club and it is the best way to go for such a small/minimal monthly fee. If you haven't given Reimer a try but thought about it...do it. Had this furnace and a/c installed by them 10 years ago and I wouldn't trust anyone else with it.
