Charles was the kind of professional I like to work with. Great communication via text/email/phone. Pictures of work as it progressed and a final document and pictures in Evernote. I had a sewer line replaced and two clean outs added. All worked cleaned up nicely when finished. Definitely recommended.

The pipes were broken at night, and I needed to fix it immediately. Found Local Rooter on Google and described the situation. Duey came by after 30 minutes. He locked the water line to avoid the water leaks and located the broken part. Because he couldn’t buy parts at night, he said he would come back the following day to replace the pipe. He came back early next morning with new pipes and replaced the broken pipes quicky. I'll definitely contact Local Rooter next time I need plumbing work done.

Chandlers put in a new thermocouple for us. He is accommodating in scheduling and service is efficient. We'd use Chandlers for our next job and recommend him to others.

Kevin came out within the scheduled window time and did a fantastic job installing a new mixer valve for my bathroom renovation. He walked me through all steps installing the finishing pieces once the tub and surround is done. His friendly demeanor was a plus too.

Overpriced and not transparent.When I call them, they did not tell me there is a service fee of 95 dollar. Second, even though it is charged by the job, the pricing is not transparent, randomly 800+ is quoted for the job with no reference. Either you have to pay the service fee or pay to get the job done. Secondly, I understand the parts are not included, I asked for the receipt, it is less than 100 dollar for all the parts but they charge a mark up of 65 %+ for no reason and this was not upfront and clear to the customers. Lastly, I asked for coupon and discount, the worker said it does not apply, even though on the website, it clearly takes coupon. If you want to get a simple job done and charge over 1000, this is the place for it.

The plumbers were professional, quick, and performed quality work. I just wished the price was lower. It was definitely expensive, but the work was completed satisfactorily.

The did not want my business. Never called me back to schedule a service call (I contacted on Sunday and Monday) - Tues I get a call that I will get a call when they get the part in.... Guess the part never showed up. Its been a week and still no call, nor an apology if there was a mishap.

I found another plumber who came out the same day (they did carry the part).

Tracey came and checked my sewer line for blockage. It's a big job but the quote seems fair.
The job ended up costing more as more issues were found upon digging. I agreed to deal with it sooner than later. The entire crew were fantastic. Answering all my questions and just being genuinely nice guys. I totally recommend them!

On time and on budget ! Had a few minor quality issues.

I've never written a review before but Giovani did such a superb job that I had to! My house of horrors from the 1960s has seen more than it's fair share of plumbers coming through but hands down, San Jose Drain and Main is the real deal. My 13 year old son (who doesn't know his own strength) broke the shower handle. Unfortunately, it wasn't as simple as replacing the shower handle as the shower cartridge was stuck and the valve needed to be replaced. I contacted 7 plumbers before I reached out to Giovani and they all said the tile had to be broken in order to access the valve and replace it. Giovani said he wasn't sure if he had to break the tile but he would try to avoid it. He ran through his proposed solution with me and it made sense so I had Giovani come back another day after he bought the parts. He came on time as promised and took out the old cartridge and valve and welded the new valve into a very tight space (see picture) without having to break the tile! He gave me a quote at the beginning of the job and even though it took way longer than anticipated (he was here from 2 pm to 7:30 pm), he still stuck to his original quote. Now, that's what I call service and a job well done! Thank you Giovani and San Jose Drain and Main!!!

The response was prompt. The service man was competent and helpful. The job was completed successfully. My only negative reaction was that I thought the price was high--above the average prices quoted on Home Advisor.

The plumber Joseph who came to my house was not only skilled and experienced but also friendly and personable. He took the time to explain the issue and the solution in a way that I could understand.
