We had a problem with our water heater pilot light staying lit. Called Local Rooter in the morning and they came out within the scheduled window. Duey, the plumber, checked our water heater and diagnosed that it had a leak and also was not installed properly or up to code. They quoted me a price that was hundreds of dollars less than other companies I had called. I hired Bueno Plumbing and Rooter to provide Leak Detection service based on a report from the City of Sunnyvale that the meter was constantly spinning. The city representative suggested there may be a possible leak. Edgar Luna was the plumber assigned to the job. He first checked toilets for leaks, asked if there was a large increase on my bill and then suggested not using water for 10 min to see if the meter continued to spin. I explained to Edgar that we recently had tenants move into the ADU in back and both houses use the same water meter. One of the tenants had just finished taking a shower. Once water was not used for 10 min Edgar was able to determine that the meter had fact stopped spinning and there was no leak. Edgar is a great problem solver who does not blinded diagnose an issue without clearly evaluating all possibilities. Truly he is a genius, very knowledgeable, and trustworthy! Did I mention he also provides great service, workmanship and is reasonably priced?

Technician David Sanchez and his associate Michael were absolute professionals! They arrived promptly, worked quick and clean and clearly described the problem. The did not want my business. Never called me back to schedule a service call (I contacted on Sunday and Monday) - Tues I get a call that I will get a call when they get the part in.... Guess the part never showed up. Its been a week and still no call, nor an apology if there was a mishap.

I found another plumber who came out the same day (they did carry the part).

They provided good quality service, explaining the issues and fixing them in a timely manner. I would use them for future services.

I had a plumbing emergency and needed help within 24 hours. My friend Lisa who has lived in San Jose her entire life is always a great resource when I need a referral. Several years ago she hired Water Quality Plumbing so I called them for help. They were able to get someone out to help me because it was a leak and knew that it was important.

Jason came out and gave me the options I had with my water softener/filter system. I could just disconnect since I wasn't using it or the other option to continue using it. I didn't think it was still in use until it started leaking so I said let's disconnect it! He was thorough with what the cost would be of the various parts right off the bat.

I asked him if he installed these systems, since this one was old, and he told me yes. He mentioned people can ask $5K-$8K for these systems so to be careful for that. He handed me a brochure and said since I was living alone in the house I didn't need anything fancy.

Right away I had a good feeling about Jason and knew he was trustworthy. I know everyone is skeptical of mechanics and plumbers so not only did I appreciate the referral, but also how honest and upfront Jason was. I definitely recommend working with Jason and will in the future when I have more plumbing needs.

Giovani and his team, Jovarre, were excellent. My garage sink was overflowing with water and also leaking water on the ground. I could not use the washing machine. San Jose Main and Drain came early to assess the problem. Giovani fixed the problem quickly and told us tips on how to avoid this issue.
