It was extremely easy to schedule with Local Rooter. Jaime was dispatched to my site and he arrived earlier than expected but he called me to confirm if he could come at that time. My house had a terrible smelling after remodeling, but I could not find out what it come from. Jaime walked through the house and checked out the plumbing system.
After looking under the house, Jaime concluded that the cause was likely due to a missing p-trap behind the washer. He gave me the quote and did a great job after agreeing with the cost. I was pleased when the smell disappeared completely.

It’s been three weeks and after following up twice, they still haven’t done the estimates yet. This shows how less they care for their customers.

I do not normally write online reviews, but I feel compelled to leave a superstar review for Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter, for their quick, efficient, honest, and reasonably-priced service. After a recent bathroom renovation by another plumber, we were left with a shower which only produced lukewarm water. Once we became aware of the problem it was pretty clear that we needed to call in a more competent plumber to sort out the mixing valve. We tried most of the companies in the area. In most cases they refused to give us a quote even for such a minor issue over the phone, insisting to set up an appointment, turn up at the house, then quoting preposterous numbers much higher that what we knew the job would take. In contrast, once we reached out to Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter over the phone, Abel was happy to discuss the potential range of the cost including the potential replacement part and labor, all in line with what we know about the store prices for said part and within normal expectations. When their technician showed up at the house, he actually found out that nothing was wrong with the part itself, it had just been improperly installed and needed to be reinstalled. It was done within five minutes at a minimal cost, saving us the cost of the part that another plumber who checked out the issue and gave us a repair quote told us we would need to replace. We are grateful to get the issue solved with no drama and to know we can call Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter next time an issue arises.

Phil was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We have taken a few quotes already and the previous plumbers did not fill is with confidence and seemed to be kind of just winging the estimate and guessing on a lot of factors. However, Phil was very knowledgeable and clearly had a lot of experience and was able to clearly address all our concerns and give us sound recommendations. Did a great job repairing our backflow device and submitting the required test report to San Jose Water.

I had a water leak in my kitchen. The wood floor was collecting water. I checked with a few plumbing companies and got quotes for thousands of dollars and all kinds of possible problems. Dominick Dahbour from HR silicon valley also stopped by to give me a quick quote. After initial inspection he ran a quick paper towel test underneath the dishwasher and within 10 minutes he figured out that nothing is wrong with plumbing or foundation it's a leaky dishwasher which is dripping water and that is flowing through the wood floor.
