Best Drain Cleaning in San Jose CA

We used Mike Counsil Plumbing for extensive plumbing repairs and upgrades. They did a nice job technically. Especially appreciated was how clean they left the house after each visit including have a house cleaner clean around their work areas and the dust that spread around the house.Their prices are on the higher side. However, we found their professionalism and skills worth the price.

Exceptional service and very professional!

We've had Victor and his plumbers over several times for a variety of jobs. (Plumbing seemed to be the weak spot in the construction of our home.) They've been reliable, courteous, and have done good work for us. Plumbers are never cheap, but their hourly rate seems about right.

My wife and I were looking to re-pipe our whole house. After contacting numerous contractors, we selected Local Rooter & Plumbing. When Duy visited our house, it was like a good friend was informing us on what
work needed to be done. Duy provided us with a very fair estimate and the length of completion was supposed to take 3-4 days.

Duy and his team are very professional and worked very fast to get the job done right. I was glad that at the end of the day, his team properly cleaned up and allowed us always one restroom to use so we can get ready for work the next day.

After the job was complete, Duy inspected the work that his crew did. He even inspected the brand new 50 gallon hot water heater that they installed. Thanks again for that Duy.

Duy is very easy to communicate and get a hold of. Anytime I had any questions, he was always there to answer my questions.

A couple days after the job was complete, I heard a strange sound after flushing our upstairs middle restroom. I contacted Duy and he dispatched 2 of his guys to check out the problem. After flushing the toilet, they were able to easily diagnose the issue. The copper pipes wasn't the problem, it was a old plastic piece in our toilets reservoir. Hoang replaced the piece in a matter of minutes. After flushing the toilet, we no longer heard that strange sound. Thanks again Hoang for quickly identifying the issue and fixing it.

Local Rooter & Plumbing will now be my go to plumber. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Duy and his team are very easy to work with and know what they are doing. We reached out to Chandler's to replace our hot water heater and recirculating pump and to see if they could help us to coordinate removing an old, unused water softener and also to replace some damaged sheetrock. They were very polite, quick to get to our home, and technically did a fine job.

The manager or owner and the plumbers at our house were all very polite. They took pride in their work, worked with us to do jobs that were probably beyond their usual scope, and overall we were very happy.

Many plumbers don't strap the water heaters correctly (the lower strap is supposed to be at least 4 from the controls), but this crew did it perfectly.

The one area that could be improved is proactive communication. I did have to keep reaching out to the company to find out what was happening next as there were several steps / visits involved. That said, when I did, the manager or owner responded quickly.

We are a family dental office and noticed water coming up from underneath our vinyl plank flooring. Realizing that's probably not a good thing, we called Kevin. He was at our office within a couple of hours to take a look, and quickly diagnosed a blocked P-trap coming from our dental vacuum system. Even though the actual issue was out of the scope of his expertise to repair, he rigged a bypass so that we could remain operational and stop any further damage. He also contacted a water restoration service who showed up at our office an hour later. Even after all that, he refused any sort of payment because he didn't really do anything. He kept us operational so we could finish working on patients for the day and got us started on the road to repair. We consider that kind of service priceless, and would not hesitate to use Kevin Bueno plumbing for future plumbing needs.

Friday evening our garbage disposal broke. I called in for help around 8:30 pm. Next morning 9 am the technician showed up promptly. The issue was fixed by 9:30.Happy customer!

Erick Zavala came out to inspect our shower which was completely clogged. He worked hard at trying to unclog it and was very professional at letting us know what the problem was and what he found. He was very communicative and very friendly. If you ever need any work done definitely ask for Erick. You won’t be disappointed.

Highly professional and timely service!

I reached out to Genmor because my mom had her pipes installed with them. When the city came out to inspect, they asked her who did her pipes? She told them Genmor and the inspector stated, they did a great job. For my place, I not only had my pipes completely re piped but, had the shower heads in both bathrooms raised. I am super happy with they sealed up the walls even with the job after. I also installed a water filter at the main. I can already fell a difference how my water feels to me. I love love it! They took their time, explained thoroughly to me the job. Also the sheetrock came out awesome. Would highly recommend them! :)

Only issues had to do w/ the Tech. showing up, but once here the guy was great! On the day of my appt., it actually took me following up w/ RR at 10:30pm (regarding the appt. that was to be sometime between 5-9PM), to which I agreed to reschedule til the NEXT Day so the Tech. wouldn't be coming that late...However that appt. WAS ALSO MISSED by the TECH., until yet again...I CALLED to FOLLOW UP, at which point it appeared to me that they GOT a completely different TECH. to actually come to my house & take care of my issue. ALL IN ALL, for the AMOUNT that I HAD TO PAY, for the Service actually performed, I DON'T EXPECT to have to be as FLEXIBLE, or as PATIENT as I was! Your company charges A LOT OF $$ for your services, so you need to step up your customer service Levels, and Tech.'s need to be considerate of the GENEROUS 4 HOUR TIME WINDOWS, that we are being asked to ALLOW...then they NEED TO CALL or SHOW UP When expected! Rayne has serviced our small complex several times. I called last night with a blocked storm drain and they did a great job. Bill called me back (from their answering service) in 5 minutes, we discussed the problem, he gave an estimated charge, and he arrived in under an hour. He was able to find + fix the problem (roots in the drain pipe) in about 15 minutes, and then spent the full hour cleaning as much of our drain piping as possible. Bill was clearly an expert at what he was doing, gave good advice on what preventative maintenance we should do in the future, and after this experience I'd recommend him + Rayne to anyone.

not recommended. 1. wanted to charge more for what was included in original bid for water heater R&R. and 2.not knowledgeable to fix a clogged sink issue suggesting the pipe needs to be torn down and replaced and asking for more money when another plumber took 5 mins to resolve the issue the next day. 3 charged credit card on unauthorized charges. beware!

Had a clogged faucet drain. Did the multiple quotes on Yelp and decided to go with San Jose Drain and Main again.

Showed up the next day right in the timeframe given.

About 20 minutes later and $150, my faucet was running normally again. The guy gave me some pointers on how to maintain so it'll never be clogged too. Very appreciated!

Side note : Before contacting, I spent a good 2 hours trying with prybars and various snaking tools on Amazon to do it myself. The drain was clogged with hardened material. When I was quoted $150, I was secretly in my mind thinking... oh, you're gonna want more than that... so I was shocked when he did it in a few minutes. :(
