Sub contractor conducted work, not All Star plumbing. Overcharged for minimal effort. Discussed the price and level of effort with Sub contractor, and he suggested I get another quote from someone else if I didn’t like his price. Because this work request was for a rental property and I have an obligation to repair quickly, I was taken advantage of. Obnoxiously overvalued egotistical plumber. I recommend calling a different company that doesn’t farm their work out to subs that are eager to take advantage of people.

Pablo came out today and fixed up a water valve behind the fridge. I live in a high-rise in down town and he was able to work with the on-site tech and finish the job in 30 minutes. He was well prepared for the job and we had no leaks during the process. He also tested it before you left to make sure there were no leaks. Thank you Fox!

My normal plumber wasn’t able to come out soon enough, so I decided to give Almco a try. I was able to book online easily and got a call back within a few minutes. They were able to come when I needed them. Jorge even showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment. My sink is fixed and I will use them again for sure.

Called on a Saturday, therrbin 1.5 hours

Don't be misled by the $68 dollar drain cleaning. They charged me that per toilet they used an auger on, a small step up from a plunger. Took all of 5 minutes to accomplish. Then they wanted $250 to replace a fill valve in one toilet. We're talking a $10 part that would probably take me 20 minutes to change, and I'm not that handy. I consented to pay $150 dollars for the fill valve (kicking myself over that) and after they finished it leaked and kept running water. I think a piece of tubing from the old fill valve was keeping the flapper open. I replaced the flapper myself and found the piece of stuff that was left in the tank. So, all in all, quite the rip-off.
