The technician was punctual & tried various avenues to solve our clogged toilet. Ultimately the toilet had to be replaced. Amazingly, the technician allowed us to go buy a new toilet & replaced it during the same visit. We’re so thankful to him, especially because we only have 1 bathroom. We definitely recommend Almco Plumbing!

I don't normally write reviews but I absolutely want to give Almco Plumbing and owner, Paul, specifically recognition. I was doing a complete renovation as a first time condo buyer. This process was very overwhelming to say the least. I did extensive research and met with at least 5 contractors for every specialty/project. Paul was by far the most organized, prepared, and knowledgeable. He came with copies of his business licenses upon meeting. Did an extensive review and took time to explain what needed to be completed. He quoted me a fair price and stayed true to that. Not only did Paul help me with plumbing, but he also guided me when I had trouble with other contractors or something didn't work out. When another contractor fell through, Paul made calls and helped me find honest, reliable replacements who's work I was also completely satisfied with. The plumbing work was completed spectacularly, but the customer service and willingness to go above and beyond the basic scope of plumbing is where this company shines!!! The search stops here, go with ALMCO!!! THANK YOU PAUL!!!!

Vlad & Almco have my plumbing business permanently. I feel that they are the best plumbers in San Diego County. They've served my family well, both on large below slab sewer and pipe lining projects and small important upgrades to shower cartridges. It feels great to use them because they not only do a great job, they have solid values and a wonderful vision for the future growth of their business. I feel good using them because their work is excellent and I want them to succeed with their business vision. It will be great to see the company expand so that many others can benefit from their skill set and business values as well.

The plumber who came to my house was prompt, professional, and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time. What impressed me the most was his attention to detail and willingness to explain what he was doing every step of the way. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises. We needed to hook up our dishwasher, our fridge's icemaker, and install new water supply lines as well. We called Almco for a second opinion and both Danial & Jorge were incredibly friendly, professional and communicative from start to finish! We could trust they were going to do a good job and they didn't charge us for any uncessary work like the previous plumbing company was going to. Definitely recommend working with them!

Sal and his assistant came to my house an hour from my calling for a broken water heater that flooded my garage. They replaced it same day. These two were amazing and the timing was nothing short of surreal. Thank you!!!!!!

Jorge from Almco Plumbing came right on time with a text and courtesy call. He was able to repair a leak from the bathtub spout and repair all 3 faucets and show us exactly what the problem was. He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Almco was referred to us by my sister who also used them just last week and they did a great repair job for her leaking toilet. I would absolutely recommend them and would call them again for any repair needs!

Jorge A from ALMCO was awesome. Came in fixed my drain and provided detailed explanation and recommendations. He did a great job and was quick and efficient. Clearly he demonstrated knowledgeable expertise in his field. I already have asked him to return to repair a broken cast iron pipe cleanout. I am very impressed with this company thanks to to Jorge A. This seems to be a happy team. Jorge did an excellent job, coming on time, calling before his appointment, explaining all he had to do and the price involved and doing a meticulous cleanup after. We had a clogged sink drain which prevented the use of both the insinkerator and the dishwasher, needing a more thorough clean out with a jetter and a scope rather than just a snake. We are very pleased with the quality and outcome.

I called Almco after-hours recently for a ceiling leak in a downstairs unit. They responded quickly and sent out a technician within the hour. Daniel found the leak fast and replaced the section of pipe that caused the issue. He was in and out within 2 hours. We’ll be using Almco for future repairs!

My normal plumber wasn’t able to come out soon enough, so I decided to give Almco a try. I was able to book online easily and got a call back within a few minutes. They were able to come when I needed them. Jorge even showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment. My sink is fixed and I will use them again for sure.

I had a great experience with this company! Not only were they able to come out and give me an estimate the day after I called but they were able to get the work done the very next day after that. Danial was fantastic, did an inspection to check why I’ve been smelling mildew smell from my pumps. He did a thorough check, cleaned hair out of my pipes and even scoped out the vents from the roof with a camera. All for the cost of the diagnostic. He didn’t find anything to fix beyond that (thank goodness), but I feel like it was well worth the value of the diagnostic visit…which was the most competitive rate I got for a plumber visit. Will be using this company again.

Helped us navigate a complicated issue for an old toilet/plumbing. Were honest that pricing would be cheaper to buy a new toilet than to reorder the part—gave pricing for both. Our issue was further complicated by having a rear-assembly toilet, which are not easy to find—they helped us source this. Actual service of installation was timely, fast & professional. Would recommend & use again.

Company replaced all cast iron pipes. Did a 3 day job in 1 day (had 5 plumbers working in unison). I will definitely use them again. Great quality work.My 1950’s plumbing is now updated and I can now rest easy.

We asked Almco to come out and do a sewer inspection on a property we are in the process of buying. Vlad came out right on schedule and did a very thorough inspection that found some issues that the previous homeowner didn't even know about. I cannot say enough positive things about Almco! I met Paul by chance as he was the plumber sent by my home warranty company for a gas leak shortly after we bought our new home years ago. Paul showed up within 2 hours (the service window was 24 hrs) and fixed the problem immediately, which was expected. What kept me calling Paul/Almco for years now is that he checked on me and my family the next day. Since then we’ve trusted our home to Almco multiple times and they’ve always been super professional, expert level service and advice, and fair pricing. Called these guys to clean out my storm drains and they found a disconnected pipe from my backyard to my front storm drain (which explained why it was backing up into my yard)… they came, diagnosed, and fixed the issue! It was a big job as they had to lift up just grass and work underneath it - and my grass looks untouched. They were very professional, timely, honest, and reliable! Will definitely use them again!
