I give a 5 star rating only because of their technician Amar. He is the only tech I will use. He always takes the time to explain the workings of the heating and air systems and provides options to fix problems. He never tries to up sell me. I trust him and will continue to refer him and Park Mechanical to friends and family.

On Thursday 8/3/2023, Bonney installed a new hydronic/Trane AC unit. The system worked fine initially until 5 PM on Friday 8/4/2023. Our Nest thermostat gave the error message “E195 – No power to R detected”. We called Bonney and schedule an appointment for Saturday 8/5/2023. Justin showed up at 4 PM and checked the connections/wiring to both inside and outside units. He tightened the connections on the inside unit, checked the wiring to the Nest thermostat, and reset the secondary condensate float switch to clear the error. Our system ran initially for about an hour but then stopped working when the E195 error message came back. We called Bonney back about what happened and they scheduled another tech to return.On Sunday 8/6/2023, Allen S. showed up at 9:50 AM. Upon his inspection, he discovered the E195 – No power to R detected was due to the secondary condensate float switch filling up with water due to the return plate pressing down on top of the switch. He ended up getting a drill bit big enough to put in a hole to let the secondary switch vent and not build up with condensation to allow the system to properly operate. I asked Allen to let the other techs who worked on our system know what happened. He said he will! Allen S. deservers a box of cookies Bonney!

The first technician that inspected my heat/air unit informed me that I needed a new control board. For a number of reasons, it took four more days for the correct control
board to be installed. The unit gave heat for less than a day, and then shut down again.
I called the office, and Melanie scheduled an appointment with supervisor Darrell.
Darrell inspected the unit and informed me that I needed a new one. This is when
everything changed for the better. Darrell credited the money I paid for the control
board towards the fee for the crane ( the crane was over $400 more than the control
board). Darrell and the crew led by Matt did a very professional job installing my new
unit. I am very pleased with my new unit.

They cancelled with less than a 24 hours notice after scheduling 2 months in advance. Next availability is nearly a month out. This company is not well managed. Gilmore is out. So many other options out there.

Very pleased with the level.of customer service I receive, by phone or in person. Technicians are knowledgable and pretty efficient. I havent had any major repairs needed (yet) but they have taken good care of my HVAC and monitor the issues. Professional.
