Jet and Dacoda really helped out a lot for our HVAC options. I first scheduled to have an inspection since our AC won't cool past 81F summer of 2021. A tech from a different company just said our system is old and didn't provide options for repair and just wanted to sell us a new system.I called a couple of HVAC companies in the area but only Huft came through my inquiries well, so decided to setup an appointment. Jet gave me all my options, from repair to replacement, with all pros and cons. We went with a replacement since the system we have was still back in 2000. Price is just about average from all the research I've done.Dacoda came in the next day for the install and they made sure everything is good. Appreciate all the techs having masks and respectful of the place. Cleaned up as they finished too.We're pretty wary about getting stuff done around our house but working with Huft's team definitely helped get those worries out of the way. From scheduling an appointment to getting all the stuff done. I would definitely work with them again for all my HVAC needs.

I never write reviews, but was blown away by the service provided. Got a flyer in the mail for the $69 plumbing and HVAC tune up and figured what's the worst that can happen, since I was previously quoted $125 for a tune-up. First, I was surprised that they sent a different plumbing and HVA tech, as I feel most places might send a jack-of-all, master-of-none type. The plumbing inspection was straight forward, but what blew me away was the excellent service provided by Fidel, who came to check out my HVAC. Everything that was taken apart was not only thoroughly inspected, but meticulously cleaned. He then walked me through all the videos/photos of the inspections, recommendations, and current rebates/incentives and how to maximize any money I put toward HVAC. My system is ~25 years old and I will unfortunately need to replace it soon, but I'm glad to know I won't have to shop around for an installer when that time comes :)

I contacted Huft based on a radio promotion for a HVAC and plumbing tune-up. I wasn't having any issues, but recently moved into a new home and wanted to stay ahead of any potential issues. Fidel came out to do the inspection and tune-up and actually discovered some issues due to a bad installation/repair in the past. The work was not completed to industry standard and was causing the system to age at an accelerated rate meaning the system would need replacing alot sooner. The furnace is only 4 years old so finding out this information now helped drastically slow the ageing process and save money in the long run. Fidel provided videos of the issues with the system to backup any repairs he recommended. I also discovered there are no air ducts, just a bypass between two walls so adding the vents will increase the efficiency even more! Had I not scheduled this tune-up, I might not have ever discovered some of these issues until I had a major problem. Fidel was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He took the time to answer any questions I had and thoroughly explain the changes he was making. I feel some contractors don't take the time to explain preemptive measures so you will have to contact them for assistance, but Fidel took the time to educate me so I would know what to look out for and could stay ahead of any issues. Ray is absolutely amazing! we had a slab leak and only had two extra tiles. he took that in to consideration and was able to only break through two rather than four! He was very informative and explained what he was doing as he was making the repairs. Not only was he great at fixing our problem pipe, he was also super kind and funny. Appreciate the help and will definitely request him if we have any future issues.

Isaiah was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and on time. He found and fixed our AC problem very quickly and explained other issues with our system for future care. This was our first experience with Huft and because Isaiah did such a good job we decided to sign up for the annual service plan.
Trevor presented information on the HVAC system and performed and showed the load calculation. Did not try to up sell more expensive units. If people are shopping for a HVAC system, I would definitely recommend Trevor and Huff Heating and Air in their search for a HVAC company.

Repair man knew a lot - was experienced. Found the problems, took pictures of it, showed through comparison the level the A/c system was functioning at, explained how they would fix it. Answered all my why, what, & how questions. Checked on some dampers installed by original installation and adjusted them since they were fully open??? Over the years I have had some people that weren’t good at a few homes I’ve lived in. I didn’t feel that way about Huft and the technician that came.
Jose Barraza is the best. I was very impressed with his professionalism. He is very informative and detailed. His work is outstanding. I am extremely delighted. Jose has 'Saved my day'. Wow! He emailed me pictures of the repairs needed and sat down with me giving step-by step of what is occurring and what is needed. And he provided me with a folder, business card, and details. A rarity to have such a top of the line senior HVAC technician.

The service technician was very helpful in answering all our questions on the basic maintenance being performed so we could understand our units requirements. They also suggested others services that were needed but could not be seen from our view, such as dryer vent cleaning. Overall friendly and informative.

This was the most pleasant experience that I have ever had with a service provider of any kind. My AC went out and it happened just when I became quite ill, so I was looking at not having AC when I was sick and it was over 105 degrees. I was so sick, I couldn’t even get out of bed, so that they had to talk to me when I was on my sick bed. Happily for me they were professional, compassionate, respectful, knowledgeable, thorough, and their services were effective and complete. My AC is back on. I would highly recommend this company and in particular Jose, and his assistant Josh, to anyone needing these services. He was even nice to my dog. Really, the best experience that I have ever had probably in my entire life with a service provider. I feel grateful and lucky to have found them.

He took time to clearly answer all our questions. He designed new HVAC system that meant our needs. He even made a duct design change that solved the problem in 2 bedrooms that never heated or cooled satisfactorily.We were so impressed with him that we canceled the other appointments with 2 other HVAC companies and selected Huft.

Our air conditioner was making a loud screeching noise and Huft was able to send someone out the very next day. Anthony came to our home and fixed the problem. He was so nice, respectful of our home, and went above and beyond to explain everything to us. Our AC unit went out last weekend. We had a HVAC guy come out last weekend and diagnosed a blown blower motor. Our system (Rheem) was still under warranty, which the guy didn’t do. So we reached out to Huft because they were the highest rated on the Rheem Find a Pro search engine.The Huft technician (Andre) came out, diagnosed a different problem. Ran many more diagnostics and was frankly just more thorough. He fixed the issue (it ended up being much cheaper). The AC unit was up and running by the end of day.Due to our overall very positive experience, we signed up for their annual plan to check our HVAC, plumbing and electrical. My wife and I don’t know anything about this stuff so it’ll be nice not to worry about it as much.I would highly recommend this company if you’re in a similar situation.

Isaiah was our tech today and came to perform our initial HVAC inspection on a home we just moved into. Knowing already that there are a few issues, Isaiah was able to confirm our suspicions and actually resolve issues on this first visit which with help cool or home better now as well as allow our system to not work as hard. He also made great recommendations as to moving forward, servicing and replacing aging components. And although our system is 16 years old the recommendations he provided are such that we can afford to make sure that our system is able to do what it's supposed to do for a good while longer while also providing a path for easier replacement when necessary.
AC unit not functional. My rep, Jose took the time to explain each task, parts and whys with me. Didn’t rush me or pressure me into anything. Very professional.

Huff Home Services installed my heating and air conditioner system and then came for maintenance this year. All visits from them have been professional, responsive and on time. I have appreciated their texts letting me know the name and photo of who is coming and when to expect them.Their technicians have taken the time to address all of my questions and have been very helpful with tips on how to best take care of my system. I have had a great experience with Huft Home Services, and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Chuc was great! Informative and through would hire him again in a second! My only complaint was to top off my A/c unit with r-22 was $480 for up to 3 lbs of refrigerant. I find this a bit crooked. But that is Huffs call. I don’t blame the tech for that. When you can buy r-22 for $170 for 5 lbs.

I have used Huft for routine services over the past 3 years so naturally I had them provide an estimate for a new system and they came in with the best rate. From the estimate to the install we had nothing but extraordinary service. The team showed up on time every day, stayed late to complete the job, and brought out extra hands when the job became trickier than expected. I also have 3 dogs which don’t like strangers in the house so the team worked with me coordinating which rooms they would be in and when they would need to be in the back yard making it easy for me to corral them away from the team without having to kennel them all day for 3 days. Evan was prompt, professional and patient with our puppy. He explained what he was going to do and the results of his inspection. He made recommendations for equipment upgrades but wasn’t pushy about us buying them.

Prompt, courteous, explained work and asked if I had questions, wore shoe covers to keep house clean, explained results and emailed results to me before departing.
Huft Home Services was amazing! Called them late, around 4pm on a Tuesday, and they were able to have someone out by 8:30am the next morning. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and diagnosed the issue. The AC unit is working for now and gave us the information we need to report back to the home warranty. Will definitely recommend and seek their services and expertise again!

My hero!I bought a Groupon in April for my annual tune up BUT It could not be performed until 9/15. I called weekly to see if the had a cancellation. The people at JR Putnam keep saying September.Last Sunday my air stopped working. I called 20 companies and 7/27 was the soonest anyone was available.I remembered the commercials from 98 rock so I called HUFT.They were able to be here in less than 48 hours and I have air again b fire it is 108 again!!!and a maintenance plan!!! Cody was amazing and a good person! He saved a crippled old lady and her pets and was such a pleasure to talk to!Looking forward to my maintenance and cleaning in less than 2 weeks!Get the plan and rest easy! It’s so worth it!Great service and they actually care about old disabled people a lot!

After our AC failed in late June, Huft was the only company that could come and inspect our system before July 31st. They sent Fidel out within a week to inspect and digest repairs. We knew our system was old and was ready to get a new system, but he went over every option from a $3000 repair to the full replacement option. In the end he was able to schedule the full replacement before another company was able to even quote us a price. He was also able to offer us two loaner portable units to keep our 9 and 20 mo children cool during their naps.Everyone was professional and did their jobs well.The three times we had them out(Fidel’s inspection and then two days for install.) they were able to work without upsetting our children’s nap schedules .Now our home is wonderfully cool.

I really appreciated Miguel coming and saving the day! Our unit went out the evening before the first 100 degree day of the year! I called Huft and they were able to send out a tech in less than 24 hours. Our tech Miguel diagnosed and repaired the issue in less than 2 hours. He was also honest, kind, and willing to take the time explain things thoroughly. These guys work in the hot attic with temps to 160 degrees. I so appreciated Miguel’s hard work and dedication to helping today.

After my initial contact with Huft unfortunately kind of got off on the wrong footing, what really impressed me about them is how they bent over BACKWARDS to make the situation right within 19 hours of the initial visit. A lot of companies wouldn’t have done that. Everything is fixed now, and I am changing my review to 5 stars based on the level of timely response from Huft. If we ever need plumbing or HVAC services again, we’ll call Huft Home Services.

Huft Home Services replaced my old HVAC system with a heat pump, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. After I requesting an estimate online, Glenn came to my house, assessed my house and current system, and put together several HVAC options for me to choose from. Each of these options were tailored to suit my individual needs as opposed to simply making the company the most money. After discussing the pros and cons of each system and settled on a heat pump. Because this option specifically addressed my needs, I felt confident knowing that I was selecting the best option for my situation.Less than 48 hours later, Chris and three other Huft employees arrived on time and completed the job in a single day. Everyone from Huft was extremely polite and respectful of my home and pets. It was refreshing to see the manner in which the crew from Huft interacted with one another. The employees were respectful to one another and clearly enjoyed working together. I got the sense that Huft values its employees, and that its employees enjoy working for Huft.My new heat pump system is working exactly as described. It is incredibly quiet and efficient.Based on this excellent experience, I will be a Huft Home Services customer for many years to come.

Our family first used Huft Home Services in 2016 when we replaced our full heating and air unit in our previous home. Back then, their service was stellar from start to finish. We have since moved from Elk Grove to Lincoln and had to have Huft out to service our new home as the upstairs was super hot and not cooling down. I was elated to hear they serviced out in Lincoln. Joseph was extremely professional, answered all my questions and relayed all information in a way that was easy to understand. Not once was I pressured to get something I didn’t need but he was able to tell me how much it could cost if I needed it in the future. I will never use anyone else when it comes to my yearly tune up. It’s hard to find upstanding, honest, good companies nowadays but Huft Home Services is the best! Thanks guys!

Elijah has gone above and beyond for our family. We bought a brand new system with Huft a couple years ago and you would think with it being brand new it would be working perfectly.We have had multiple issues mainly during the cold season. A small home yet our heater would just pick when it wants to run and work. Nights and sometimes days of no heat and frustration knowing we paid so much money to have something brand new and work, and for it to come with complications.We have had multiple Huft workers come through our house to check our system but none as thorough as Elijah.We told him our situation with the same problem we have been running into. Letting him know we are tired of being told that it’s just our filter needing to be changed.He stayed and did a complete check and has been working with us to make us not run into this issue again.We really appreciate his help and will continue working with Elijah through Huft.

Sales rep Trevor Gannon was personable, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained the equipment well and provided purchase and financing options for a new HVAC system. We selected a system which will be installed next week. Huft was the third company to evaluate our system and give us an estimate, and was the most complete and most positive experience we had.
I wanted an estimate for duct replacement in my house. Jet from Huft was at my house as scheduled. Jet spent over 2 hours in the attic and crawlspace inspecting all the ducts to establish an estimate for a complete replacement. Jet was very professional and personable. He answered all my questions. I think he did a good job in establishing an estimate. I need to get a couple more estimates before I make a selection but Huft is definitely a consideration.

Our service tech Anthony is the best! We used him in Sacramento for a 28 year old plus HVAC unit service in prep for selling our house, and my husband was so impressed that he requested him again for a service on the 19 year old unit in our new house. Anthony not only found a small repair (a capacitor) that would likely have caused a much more costly repair later, he checked ducts, filter, thermostat, etc., and THOROUGHLY CLEANED the outdoor unit. It is evident that Anthony takes pride in his work! He is quite the professional!In addition, the Sacramento Hufts’ phone service scheduling staff are all out outstanding—wish I’d kept track of their names, but there were three, two female (Jennie and ?) and one male (Ryan?)—cheery, helpful, and efficient each time I’ve called to schedule or ask questions.Needless to say we will be using them again! We’ve already scheduled our heater service for October, plus we’ve signed up for the Guardian Club Membership, which looks well worth the fee!Thank you!Note: Just had our heater serviced and Anthony did an equally thorough and professional job again. Michael Rodriguez is the best HVAC service tech that I have ever seen or have had service, our air conditioner and heating unit. He was super professional, clean and went above and beyond anybody else that has ever been in my house to service our HVAC system. What an awesome service! He vacuumed everything, the intake box, around the furnace, then went outside and vacuumed out and cleaned my AC pump and checked everything. By far the best service I’ve ever had really in any trade.
Ray has been working with me for several months on locating a challenging part for my guest bathroom toilet (since February). Each time Ray or his team came out they worked with me as the customer to attempt to fix the toilet, but the standard parts were not working so we had to special order the parts (I paid once in February and every service call or part purchased since then has been covered under their guarantee). Ray came out and fixed the toilet as soon as the parts came in.I also have used Huft for other plumbing services including the most recent kitchen sink fix which was also completed by Ray. What I like most about Ray and Huft is there professionalism with their customers and their focus with saving the customers money! No matter who I have worked with they have been professional, kind, competent, and punctual. Ray is an excellent team member for Huft and I will continue to use Huft for all of my plumbing needs.
I recently replaced my entire AC system (heat pump & furnace). I reached out to Huft after I looked into another AC company that I ended up not feeling comfortable going through. Right after I reached out to Huft they got back to me and got one of their salesmen out here. They asked what issues I was currently having and what improvements I wanted. The salesmen and I had a 1.5 hr discussion, a walk-through of the entire system, and talk about my budget (very valuable to know how the entire system works to make a responsible decision). I went with a new Bosch system with a matching air handler that was within my budget. I also had some duct work done to get more cold air into particular rooms.They were kind of booked out pretty far but that's to be expected this time of year (I think after I signed it was 1.5-months out). My original install date was missed by a week because it took longer to get the equipment they needed obviously because certain supply chains are only operating at 50% or less so it's still understandable.I was told installation would take 2 days which didn't bother me. The crew came on time and worked hard through the day to get everything done almost the first day and the 2nd day they finished and were out the door by 1pm. I will say that they did miss a bunch of screws/ends of wire they cut when they cleaned up but hey I have a vacuum to so once again not a huge deal in my opinion.So far my system is running great and quietly which is fantastic. Happy with everything so far from the initial point of contact all the way through installation.

Amazing service, simply put, it was phenomenal. My water heater and furnace decided to go out on the same morning. Fidel from Huft was out later that same day, diagnosed everything quickly and told me about multiple solutions. I ended up just going with replacing both units and Fidel took the time to go over pricing, he showed me exactly how much unit was going to be and even helped out with some discounts the company had going on. Super helpful and great work! 10/10 would recommend.

We had our ecm motor go out on our unit and had no air in the house other than fans. Andre with Huft came out first thing the morning and got straight to work. Great company! Huft did a whole house energy retrofit in 2018 including new HVAC system and ductwork, whole house fan, tankless water heater, new bathroom exhaust fans, new dual pane windows, installed recessed lights in dining and living rooms, installed fan lights in bedrooms, sealed walls in the attic, and new attic insulation. My house is now more comfortable and energy efficient. My monthly energy cost are much lower all throughout the year. All of the company’s technicians I have worked with over the years to maintain the HVAC system and tankless water heater were prompt, polite, knowledgeable and kept me updated on all aspects of my systems. I highly recommend this company!

We learned what three separate HVAC guys in the past four weeks (not from Huft) had missed, and why our downstairs unit was NEVER going to be fixed with their Home-Warranty-incentivized “band-aid” approach to the problem. ALL options and costs were thoroughly explained by Fidel, who never tried to “upsell “ us on anything but just explained realistic options based on his detailed findings. 10/10 would request Fidel again!

He was punctual and told me right away how long it would take and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. We researched 6 companies & interviewed 3 other companies that had good reviews & finally chose Huft to replace our Carrier 1 speed unit with a Bosch 3 Ton 18.5 SEER . Our house is a small 1 story house, circa 1975 & we ended up having some structural issues as well as issues with the unit itself. We got to know the Huft people really well over the time it took to resolve the issues with the BOSCH unit. Every step of the way Huft proved themselves to be dedicated, tenacious trouble shooters. Every single person we communicated with & came into contact with, was extremely invested, caring & kind. Communication was easy & every workman who came out was considerate & had a good attitude. If we had concerns, they addressed them. We met with a BOSCH representative & wasn't impressed as we did not feel he was much help at all. It didn't feel like BOSCH was quick to give Huft all the information that they could have right from the start-which caused a long delay in the final resolution. It's never great to have issues with a new installation, but when it comes down to it, you want someone who will stand by thier promises & not give you grief over how much time & effort it takes & we really feel that it's obvious that Huft strives to be a company of integrity.

Called Huft to obtain a second opinion on my Heater repair. Beutler had quoted me around 4k in urgent repairs, or get a new system. Although Huft ultimately agreed that a new system upgrade would be the better investment, the quote for the same repairs was around $1500 less. The Technician Jose did not push me in either direction and actually advised me to wait on making a decision until I can make a better educated decision on whether I should move forward with just repairs or get a whole new system. Yes, that’s correct he encouraged me to not spend money with his company. 🤯Definitely recommend this company!!! They are professional, listen to you and your concerns, take videos of everything, explain everything in a way you understand and just offer overall amazing customer service. Most of all they have integrity, which is huge for me being a single female homeowner. Big thank you to Jose and his Supervisor Brad for their excellent service.

Just like when you look for a good auto mechanic, there's a degree of trust that you depend on so that you don't get charged for something you don't need. Worth. Every. Penny. Was lucky enough to have heard about Huft on the RAD radio show and I can truly say they live up to the hype. We bought a new home A/C through Huft in 2020 and decided to enroll in the monthly service plan. So glad we did because every time their techs come out to perform the service, they find some debris or other issue which would have definately shortened the life of our system. Austin came out on a very hot day to investigate why our newish AC unit was not producing very cool air. He was very deliberate in checking all the possibilities for the under performing unit, and although his gauges showed sufficient refrigerant in the system, settled on a possible leak. So he added refrigerant and and traceable dye to confirm his suspicions and it appears to have resolved the issue. Further, made an appointment to return in two weeks to follow up to determine if and where a system leak may have occurred, and if confirmed, will fully resolve the the problem at that time. Austin was courteous, thorough, and knowledgeable and engendered trust. He represented his Huft very effectively.

Huft was one of a couple companies we called to get estimates from. They offered multiple quotes/prices and we’re willing to price match certain systems. We ended up going with Huft because they offered a great system at a good price. I also appreciated that there was no high pressure sales pitch and gave us some time to weigh our options. The install techs did a great job at removing our old system (which was difficult) and completed install in about 5-6 hours. New system works great, actually have cold A/C now. Huft is worth giving a call for an estimate!

I am very dissatisfied. The technician came earlier than I was told he would by several hours for my November checkup on my heater. Last Spring I called to make an appointment to have my air conditioning maintenance as I have every year for nine years, air conditioning in the Spring, heater maintenance in the Fall. The woman I spoke with said that both were now being done in the Fall. When the technician came in November, he said he couldn't do the air conditioning in the Fall. So, although I paid a yearly fee for two checkups, I only got one. The technician said that someone from management would call me. None did. How disappointing after 9 years.
Huft came to do our 6 month hvac maintenance per our plan. It was evident that things happened in the past that the company was not aware of and neither were we. I called and talked to management about the issue and we came to a compromised solution. I appreciate that they took the extra steps to show they want my business and my trust. They will be back in a few days to take care of the issue at hand and take a look at my water heater. Thank you.

We purchased our HVAC system from Huft about four years ago. We get regular maintenance service on our system twice a year. The technicians have always been very professional and thorough. Today we had Elijah Treadwell out to do the regular maintenance on our AC system. Elijah was exceptionally thorough and did a great job. He called us to let us know he was on his way, arrived promptly, did a thorough inspection and cleaning of our system, showed us pictures of the various components in the attic and outside AC unit, and went over everything with us. He was very friendly and polite and a joy to work with. We would highly recommend Huft. And we would also recommend Elijah. Really every technician we have worked with from Huft has been great. Huft was very responsive to my request for service. Chuc came out and was very thorough, professional and friendly. He was great with my dogs too! I had 3 systems that needed servicing. The one system I anticipated needing replacement checked out just fine. A second system, which I figured would be fine, actually had a few problems. Chuc showed me the meter with low reading and recommended the capacitor be changed out as it was starting to lose its power. I was so happy he found this now and had the part on his van. Chuc saved me time and money by proactively identifying issues before they became huge problems and left my 75 year old father without AC in the middle of a heat wave! I highly recommend Huft Home Services! I will definitely be calling them for all my HVAC needs.

I bought my HVAC system from Huft in 2010 and it is still going strong. Just like your body or an automobile, regular maintenance is important for your HVAC equipment. I pay a nominal yearly fee to get a lot of benefits, but I always have the system and its parts checked twice a year. This is included in my membership. Kevin, from Huft, came out recently to perform a maintenance check and found a bad capacitor which stores and supplies voltage to the compressor. If gone unchecked and the compressor failed, it would likely mean a full replacement. This maintenance saved me a ton of money and also increases the life of the unit. What i like most about this particular company is they employ the best technicians who are both professional and friendly. Their customer service people are also helpful and congenial. You can't go wrong choosing Huft for your HVAC needs.

I'm very happy with the heating maintenance service provided by Huft. Scheduling my appointment was fast and easy; the receptionist was friendly and took note of my concerns and questions. I appreciated the reminder emails and texts, as well as the check-in call from our service tech when he was enroute to our house.Our service tech, Mustafa, arrived on time and was very professional. He took care of an issue we had with our condensation drain lines. He was very thorough with his furnace inspection. He reviewed the inspection report with me, answered all my questions, and pointed out maintenance issues to lookout for in the future. On top of all this, he even took the time to install an emergency shutoff sensor in our HVAC's drain pan so that our house would be protected if we had any future condensate drain issues. I really appreciated the time he spent, especially since it was late afternoon and he still had other visits to complete. He really went the extra mile in taking care of our system.Because of this great service , I was happy to signup for their annual maintenance program. I'll look forward to next year's visit.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but these guys deserve it. They were the 3rd company to inspect the system at a rental property of ours. The first told us it needed a compressor, and the second told us the system used the older refrigerant and they would not even service it. They quoted us almost $15K for a new system. We called Huft and Fidel was dispatched to look at the unit. Communication was great from the beginning. We actually told them we wanted to see if it was repairable and if not get a quote on a new unit. Fidel called me from the property to tell me the compressor was okay. It had actually been wired incorrectly. He repaired the unit at less than half the cost of a new compressor, and never tried to sell me on a new unit. He also told me the second company was incorrect and this unit does use the newer refrigerant. We asked for a quote on a new unit anyway and were quoted several thousand dollars less than the previous company. Fidel and Huft turned two really bad experiences into a great one and saved us money.
Huft came to ourrescue when our capacitor went out. They made my elderly father a priority and was out to his home the next day. Austin was fast and knew what to fix right away. He was professional and courteous and friendly. I recommend Huft to all my friends and neighbors.

We had Evan out today to diagnose our leaking AC unit. He was super nice and professional. Our baby was sleeping at the time and he made sure not to shut our front door hard when he went in and out to his van. He explained what he was doing to my husband and showed him everything, come to find out our unit was COVERED in dog hair and was clogging everything up. Make sure you ask for Chuc Nguyen. Dude knows his stuff. I got me a new service tech, Chuc Nguyen. No one else needs to work on this new institution but Chuc Nguyen. Yes I will use Huft Home Service again.
Evan did a nice job explaining why there is a spike of electric voltage when the AC is first turned on. He suggested me to purchase a device to lower the spike, but he didn't hard sell it.

Chuc Nyguyen did a thorough inspection of the furnace and air conditioning system. He explained repairs that would make the furnace run more efficiently and prolong the life of the unit. It was a pleasure talking with Chuc.

Jet came to our home to inspect the coils in the attic for leaks. Jet was very professional and answered all of our questions. Jet also walked us through on what was going to be done to fix the leak.Just like the other technician that came to our house, Jet was very knowledgeable, professional and looked out for our best interest. I received 4 bids for my HVAC system and Glenn Richard provided the most thorough and best HVAC design of all of the bids. He was very patient explaining the various options and provided drawings and cost benefit analysis of the options. Huft is an amazing company! They installed an entire new Heatpump System in my home and the entirely crew was beyond exceptional...on time, clean, professional and did an amazing job above and beyond! My System was installed a week ago and suddenly there was a loud vibration sound. Every time I put pressure with my hand on the Unit outside it stopped but when I let go it was back. I knew it was most likely an adjustment to the screws, as we had so much heat lately and the materials had to adjust. I called Huft and they scheduled me in right away for the same day, thank you Savannah, hour are a true Gem! Sure enough, it was re-tidening of the screws on the Unit. Huft is an amazing company and I highly recommend them!!!

We were overdue for our one-year follow-up (curses to you, COVID-19!) on our HVAC system that HUFT installed over a year ago. Our technician that day was Shuntavious Oliver who arrived within the scheduled time frame. He was thorough, efficient, and was able to answer any and all questions we put to him. He was also quick to resolve an issue we were having in a very professional manner. We were most impressed with his expertise and his conduct. Though it took 2 weeks for them to schedule installation of new HVAC, they provided space heaters. A lead tech with two assistants arrived on time, and finished big jobs including a larger return -duct and filter unit on the same day. Equipments are of higher efficiency. I am waiting to have an official County or State inspection for the jobs done. I may provide an updated final review later.5th April, 2021I change my previously posted rating from 5 to 4 Star for the following issue:At the time of diagnosis/repair/replace meeting on 18th February, 2021, Sales person did not inform me about HVAC Testing, County/State Inspection and having a permit issued. It has been one month today after installation of new Furnace, AC and return air-duct with a plenum, and I am still waiting to have inspection done and permit issued. I was told by installation coordinator that it will be done around 25th March. They should have courtesy to reach out to me and inform the status on the matter.

Chuc and Octavio came to do furnace, ac and plumbing inspections. Both showed up on time and were professional. Octavio removed a piece of plastic from inside the porcine that was making the toilet flush strangely. Chuc showed me all the problems my 27 y.o. furnace and ac had. And gave us options for replacement, we choose a new higher efficiency model that had a $1500 discount and a free iWave. I would recommend Huft for your hvac and plumbing needs.

We have been using Huft since we moved in our home. They take care of any issues we may have as well as our twice a year maintenance. They are efficient and respectiful of my time. They always call me when it's time, schedule an appointment, confirm the day before, and keep me informed as to when the tech will be arriving. Every tech that has been in my home is kind and CLEAN. Boots are worn, masks (during covid) they vacuume where they worked and leave no traces that they were ever there. They explain everything they saw, weather good or bad. I needed someone who could attach my plumbing pipes to my garbage disposal. They just simply couldn't be put back together after a new garbage disposal was installed. Update: It's just about a year since Huft replaced my unit and they were kind to replace my filter for free since it's a difficult task based on the type if system and location. I will be a long term customer with them. Evan did a quick job smiling all the way . I have an older system and the tech, Kevin, explained the potential problem with the system and what steps I needed to take and answered all my questions.I am updating this review since Huft recently replaced my entire 16 year old HVAC system. I would recommend Huft as a reliable and honest company to go to for HVAC needs! I am happy with the initial diagnostic tech Jose B. who was patient with me and honest about my HVAC unit and the different replacement options the company offered (gas vs electric). Jose could be reached at all hours by phone and text which I appreciate with a newborn around. Jose answered all my questions, and he would look into issues or appointment updates if anything came up. Shoutout to the install team led by Toby- thank you Michael and Nelson - they put in the hard work on a 100+ degree day to make sure we had a working system; the guys went above and beyond, stayed until the job was done, gave me a thorough walkthrough, and even installed an extra carbon monoxide detector. Lastly, some issues happened with the portable AC units that Huft loaned us before our HVAC replacement but Carlos followed up immediately to get the laminate floor repaired and area rug cleaned. 100% rating from me on customer service and professionalism! A/C went out on a Friday evening, just as we were headed into a weekend and into the following week with temps predicted to be into the high 90’s. Called Huft on Saturday. Was told that a technician could come out Monday afternoon. Technician Austin arrived early Monday afternoon, quickly diagnosed the problem, and made the necessary repair. He then proceeded to ensure that the system was fully working. Austin was very polite, professional, and skilled. He is a credit to the Huft team.

Previously a customer of Comfort Master I had been referred to Huft Home Services. I had a unit that was installed by Comfort Master in 1994. I really got my money's worth out of it but now it was having cooling issues. The technician, Ryan Mark checked it all out and then he explained everything, showed us the video of the inside of unit and problems that were present.
