Today the service tech Jose S serviced the heater cleane .pleasurable and knowledgeable and asked if needed Anything we were having problem with thermostat he replaced .

I was excited to be recommended the Bell Brother has I had heard and read positive reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the level of service we received from the Bell Brothers.Prior to scheduling an appointment, a family friend was able to share specific things to ask and look for when the technician came - specifically hooking up tools to check for functional levels of Freon in the unit.We had a scheduled an appointment to have a technician come to give a quote to fix our ac unit a specific time of 12pm. However, the technician arrived at 5pm and was not provided any updates unless I texted requesting an update.The technician was at my home for all of 20 minutes and gave the recommendation to replace my entire unit for estimated 15k, WITHOUT validating any functionality of the unit! He did not hook up an equipment to the unit yet his recommendation was to replace the unit. He was pushy and was ready for my husband to approve the work. My husband had to tell him multiple times that he needed to consult me.I was charged $99 for a technician to come out, not run any diagnostics or functionality testing on my ac unit, and inform me I need a whole new unit- when in fact, I have a small leak and there at other possible repair options.I will be reaching out to the office directly to seek a refund for the lack of service I received.

The two Bell Brothers technicians were friendly and professional. They alerted me to the estimated morning arrival time, and came prepared to look at my heating system, including the furnace, air ducts, thermostat, and replace the filter, if needed (it was). They explained what maintenance would be performed and how long it would take.

When I called Bell Brothers to make an appointment regarding my heating system, I thought I probably would not get an appointment until after the coming up weekend but to my great relief, they were able to come to my home early afternoon Friday, the day I called. The lady who set the appointment was professional and easy to speak with about the heating problem.The service repairman was awesome, friendly and confident. He was thorough and polite. I have been around many repair persons over the years, but he was special, helpful, and truthful about what options were available to me.I cannot say enough good things about Bell Brothers regarding today's service. I highly recommend them.

Had a drain backing up so called Bell Bros as I heard good things about them. Service was fast, people were professional, very nice and informative. I will definitely called them again.

Bell Brothers have been out twice to my house. Initially to replace a thermostat and a circuit board and recently for a routine maintenance check up. I each time I found them to be professional, on time and very helpful in explaining what was going on. Very thorough and knowledgeable, quickly providing a detailed estimate.

Your technician preformed my yearly service. I almost canceled this do to the shelter in place order but my service was over due. Your tech did an amazing job and wore a mask gloves and booties for the short time he had to enter my home. Thanks for an awesome experience.

Kevin, our sales manager, came over on time, was very friendly, professional, and informative. Very pleased with his service. He set up time and date for the installers and they arrived on time. Adam and Noah, the installers, did an excellent job, about 8 hours to complete but we were very satisfied with how friendly and courteous they were. They cleaned up everything and actually another person carted away our old stuff. We had both A/C and heater systems replaced. They went over operations with us, gave us booklets, and answered all questions. All 3 of these guys are 5 star employees. We highly recommend the Bell Brothers!!

Our experience started in June 2019. We damaged our a/c unit with a rototiller. Of course it was during 100+ temperatures. We called Bell Brothers and someone came out quickly. We were told it couldn’t be repaired so it had to be replaced. After we had it replaced we found out it could have been repaired. We spoke to the General Manager at Bell Brothers who claimed he had a copy of the quote for the repair. He said he would send a copy to us. We e requested several times and never received it. Fast forward to April 2020. We turn on our a/c and a horrible moldy smell fills the house. They send out a technician a couple days later. He was on time and very professional. Upon inspection he discovered a drain pipe (?) was installed backward causing water to collect. He cleaned it out and said to run the a/c for a bit to clear out the smell. He said there isn’t any hazard, but I’m skeptical. Hopefully it clears the smell quickly.

Last week I called the No surprise guys due to me working long hours and out of town. My wife was getting cold and I knew my Thermal coupler needed changing and was willing to pay their show up fee and maybe a couple hundred more to replace. Tech showed up, very courteous and polite to my wife, opened up our GE heater and a short time later advised my wife they had to search for parts. Never told her what parts, but could cost us up to $2000.00 and was not guaranteed to work. As tech was getting ready to leave a salesman from Bell Brothers showed up and told my wife of option B. Instead of taking chance on repair not working, we could Finance you a new unit for $250.00 or a bit more a month for 7 to 10 yrs. She called me crying and I was livid knowing what the problem was. I left work early and drove 3 yrs, stopped picked up a $39.00 Thermal coupler, cleaned the pilot tube replaced Thermal coupler and unit works great. Nothing in my GE heater cost $2000.00 for part and labor. How can a company lie to people trying to make a sell and put people in a financial rut. NOBODY wants to REPAIR ANYTHING ANYMOREI'd advise everyone to not use Bell Bros. because they lie & should be jailed for that action

Malcolm Stewart did the inspection. Malcolm was on time and thorough. He was professional, friendly, and explained everything he was doing. I've always been happy with Bell Bros. services, and Malcolm, individually, really stood out for me.

I had my HVAC/AC inspected/serviced today. William was awesome! He showed me pictures he took along his progress and advised me of some issues I should monitor or replace. Very professional.I also had my drains, faucets, hot water heater, and garbage disposal inspected. Rico was also very professional. He took pictures of everything along with letting me know what I should be monitoring and replace in the future.I have trusted Bell Brothers with my Heating & Air since I moved to California 23 years ago and will continue to use their services as long as I remain in the area.Thanks again to William and Rico!

We're Bell Brothers customers for life! Don't be fooled by other places with cheaper rates. You truly get your money's worth with Bell Brothers and guarantees. Five stars isn't enough. Plumbing and sewer issues are never easy or comfortable, but this was one of the most simple, quick, least invasive jobs I've ever been involved with, especially with the extreme weather we have had to deal with. Job well done.

My initial contact was with Mike W. He came over and gave us a very thorough estimate to install a complete package unit for heating and air. He was very professional and pleasant. He guided us through the entire process start to finish. When time came to start the work we were surprised to see a crew of five guys! They were on time and got to work right away, Matt P., Jessie T., Ron, Gabe and Josh were all very polite, professional and hard working. They knocked out a job that sometimes takes 4 day's to complete in just two days. We really appreciate all the hard work they did. The work was high quality and done right the first time. I would recommend Bell Brothers to anyone needing their services.

Did a tune up on our A/C

We had Tanner come out to do a tune up and we really appreciated the service he provided. He did such a good job at my mother-in-laws house that we requested him to come to ours. He is very polite, respectful of property, professional, and most of all KNOWLEDGEABLE! When he left we felt very confident in what we needed done sooner than later, and what could wait a little bit. excellent information given for the need of another HVAC unit.

First the salesman took us to the cleaners and we explained how he did this but no word from Bell on caring. The day after installation the first thing went haywire and over the next 10 days they had to come out SIX more times for different issues - no exaggeration. This does not count the multiple times they schedule an appointment then call to reschedule it…the dirty caulk line around a grid to cover the gaping hole for the intake or the handprints on our wall about 20 feet above a stairwell I can’t reach to clean off. This is all documented and known to them. Their Quality of work is absolutely horrible and all they can come up with is send more people to fix the system, promise us it is fine, and do this all over again the next time they have to come out. Really? I can’t understand why I don’t trust these creeps. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Bell Brothers. I wish they would take their system out of here and refund our money. We were warned by a neighborhood chat group and we SO should have listened!

First time calling Bell Brothers. Interested in window estimate. I called on Saturday and Mitch was there the same day! Very knowledgeable on products and answered my questions. I was impressed with this company!!

Nate arrived on time and confirmed the problem with the toilet. He also checked one other toilet and had time to make a repair .Also, he checked the water heater which is still functioning. It is getting old but no need to replace yet. He clarified the costs surrounding each repair. He was not in a rush and took his time. If I need any further repairsI definitely will request Nate.

Their service is way overpriced. Unless you enjoy paying an arm and a leg I would suggest you hire someone else. I was quoted over $4000 for a 55 gallon water heater replacement by a Bell Brothers technician. BTW the estimate was not free and I had to pay almost $100. I declined their service and called a different plumber who replaced it for $1200 ($900 for the tank and $300 for labor and parts). Thank God I shopped around and found someone who didn’t price gouge. Buyer beware.

AC serviced. I didn't see them check to see if the filters were clean. They said they would, but don't know if they actually did.

Very pleased with the service provided by Bell Brothers. Service Tech Jacob was very professional and helpful with fixing the thermostat. I usually do not give reviews, but was very pleased with the service we received.

Hired this company to do furnace preventive maintenance of my 20+ year old system. Technician was punctual, professional, and very knowledgable. Took a lot of pictures and explained how the various issues he found impacted the efficiency and functioning of the system, which I found extremely helpful. A second rep also came along and was able to give me quotes on replacement options, which was very efficient since I am in the market for a replacement.

We used to have another company maintain our heating and cooling system and then we called Bell Bros. What a difference. They showed us video of our unit and told us exactly what was wrong and it looks like it has been doing this for a while. Checked all parts and cleaned it all. I am very pleased with the service.

This company states there is no costsurprises? False advertising! Faucet repair - What they quote is $99.00 just to visit. That is not the price thatwhen they arrive! You have to pay $99, still if you whose not to use there services! Discount plumbing will come to your house and quote you a price, if you don't like the price no charge!

Very happy with the bell brothers company! The phone staff was very polite and helpful. They got me a appt within 2 hrs Mile Carling their tech was at my door. I made a special request that he call me when he showed up so I could put my animals away an he did just that. He was very personable an had answers to all my questions. Also he didnt give me the runaround he went out back took the unit apart told me what he thought said he had the part an could do it right then. It took him less than 30 min an he had my air conditioner working like a charm. Gave me some pointers an options for the future upkeep an was out the door.Now thats what I call service fron the beginning till the end. The plumber did an excellent job, that’s not why I rated the company one star, how can you justify charging a customer $364.00 to install a $30.00 water valve to connect a dishwasher which took the plumber fifteen (15) minutes to install your charges are way to high and can assure you I will check out other companies if I need a plumber in future.

The installers did a great job, working non-stop for hours. They prepped thoroughly, kept me informed, did their best to stay out of my way, got everything done, and left my home in great shape.

I took advantage of their $67 Safety Inspection and Water Heater Flush. I figured it would be a opportunity to meet and talk with some techs and get a feel for the company. Overall I was satisfied with them and will most likely call them if I need repair or installation work in the future.

My appointment was cancelled in error but the office staff located a technician to make the visit. Even though it was late in the afternoon, Jacob S. was very courteous, thorough, and pleasant. I was impressed by his knowledge and appreciated his recommendations.

I put a request in today online they called me within the hour and was able to send someone out a couple hours later which never happens where I live. James came out and couldn’t find a problem so he only charged me for the service call. He was super friendly and efficient.

Several years ago I requested that Bell Brothers take a look at my heating system to see if it needed maintenance. The young man that came out went up to the attic and took pictures with his phone. The pictures showed that my duct work was falling apart. He quoted me a price and left. I called another small heating and cooling repair business to get another quote. He came out and took pictures WITH MY CAMERA that showed there was nothing wrong with my ductwork; the pictures were totally different than those shown to me by Bell Brothers. So Bell Brothers already had a picture that showed deteriorating duct work and tried to tell me it was my duct. They tried to scam me and I never called them again. I hope they've improved their business practices.

As always, technicians were professional and kept us informed of service being performed and any recommendations for repair.

This was a plumbing inspection that comes with our Bell Brothers subscription. They were both professional and introduced themselves. They were clear with what they were inspecting. The found a few minor issues. No hard sell to fix anything. Very polite team.

Service was performed and was given a good report.However, later in the afternoon the living room was getting cold, so I went to check the thermostat and found it was not working because the time and date had to be reentered.So, being in my wheelchair I was able to reach it and enter the requested information.Now I will have to watch to see if the programed time is coming on with the proper temperature at the proper time.

As a Bell Brothers member, I was able to call about a new repair and have it professionally completed within 24 hours.

Wonderful, the technician his name was Ryan Marsh he was very thorough went beyond he explained how my pipes were running under my house (unlike the other plumbing company that came out the day before and charged me alot of money and did nothing and I mean nothing) so I called bell brother and within half hour they were here and the kid had my pipes cleared out in half hour very knowledgeable can't say enough good things about that kid I will be requesting him if I ever need something done I also signed up for their rewards program it's really worth ten dollars a month. Other people may have had a good experience with Bell Brothers but mine was NOT good.First 2 people showed up. Ususally it is only 1. Unusual (was this a plan to keep me busy talking so I didn't notice what the other one was doing? Probably not but it crossed my mind.)They surprised me with can we get in your attic to see your duct system? No one ever mentioned that this was to be done. Since they could not go up there they just put a camera up to take pictures.At the end they mentioned some things that were wrong. I understand there could be issues but they were tag teaming with this is wrong and that is wrong. This kept going for about 10 minutes. At the end the comment was made it could go into a whole system replace.At this time I was completely irritated. It sounded like snake-oil salesmen taking advantage of an older woman with words to scare me.I will not be calling them back. NO THANK YOU!

Great service AC wasn't turning on. They where able to fix it quickly and do a run through the AC it has some problems. Went through all my options best thing to do is to replace AC unit with new one. Highly recommend their service .

About two years ago, these were the only folks who could unclog a drain for us. First two plumbing companies couldn’t do it. These folks took care of it in a jiffy. That made me sign up for their Service plan. They are not inexpensive, but you pay for what you get in this case, which is very thorough, competent, customer oriented service. I feel I can depend on them.

I used to love Bell Bros Heating and Air. I'm a handyman by trade, and I would refer customers to them on a regular basis, but that is not going to happen anymore. I recently refered 2 of my regular customers to them, and they both had an awful experience.First was a full HVAC system replacement about 6 months ago. The new system has gone out twice, and both times it took Bell Bros over a week to get out and repair the issue. This customer is a 76 year old woman, and they happily took $15k from her to install the system, but decided it was acceptable to leave her without AC with the outside temperatures above 100 degrees. She legitimately could have died, so I purchased and delivered a portable AC unit so she could tolerate the heat while waiting for Bell Bros to show up. I decided to call for her and put some pressure on them to show up sooner, and I was basically told to pound sand. I asked for the name of the regional director/manager, and I was told they couldn't give that information out. I was told they would have the installation manager call me, but I never received a call. After 8 days, they finally showed up and fixed the issue. Frustrated by their response, I did some research into their management, and found that the Bell family recently sold the company to a national corporation(Service Pros), that is owned by a hedge fund company out of Texas. The hedge fund has since sold Service Pros to another investment firm. In other words, they are no longer a locally owned company and their service certainly reflects this.The second customer I referred had Bell Bros replace all their ductwork. Immediately after the replacement, their AC stopped working. Bell Bros took 5 days to come out and look at it, and they charged them for a diagnostic and a freon recharge. The issue wasn't fixed. The customer called them back out, explaining what was happening, and in another 5 days, they showed up again. This time they claimed the AC coil was bad(which they replaced a year prior), and charged them labor to replace it(part was still under warranty). So after $10k to replace the ductwork, $300 for a diag and recharge, and $800 for a coil replacement, their AC works like it did before Bell Bros touched it.Long story short, Bell Bros Heating and Air are awful. I will no longer refer them to any customers, and I will actively tell people to avoid them. They are not the locally owned company they present themselves as, and their business practices clearly reflect that. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere.

I had Kenny out today to service my furnace, he was fantastic, as are 100% of the technicians that are with Bell Bros. That is why I have used them exclusively for 10 years. You really can't go wrong using Bell Bros. Kevin Okelberry

I have been a customer her since 2012 and have had wonderful experiences every time I’ve contacted them. Their scheduling seems a bit complicated, the techs seem to be sent all over the valley rather than creating an efficient route, but everyone is kind and every time I’ve required assistance I was able to get it very quickly. I highly recommend this company for both heating/air and plumbing as I have used both services.

Once it was determined that we could not ignite the heater, we decided to have the entire unit replaced. Two technicians arrived within 1/2 hour and the job was completed in less than 45 minutes, with all necessary changes to meet city and state codes. I am impressed! We have been customers with Bell Bros for many years now, and will continue to do so. Outstanding customer service!

Instead of fixing a small issue, They tried selling the overpriced replacement. Luckily I got quotes from multiple vendors and everyone else was well rated and well priced. My recommendation would be to shop around before making any decisions.

They’re all about selling than fixing. Was a comfort club member. Very happy with the culture and the attitudes of the technicians there when I joined the comfort club over 2 years ago. They were all about repairing what you need and recommending needed repairs. Now they just try to upsell everything. Heard the company changed ownership and they put an emphasis on selling than repairing/ taking care of the customer. Avoid!

Eddie was good in fixing the problem, also hot water in kitchen faucet was clog, fix minor problem, didn't charge which was nice, however, company policy which required me to add on extra fixes when I declined it, states the work I had done was voided no warranty on work done that day, very unheard of bad business practices, can't force customer to make extra fix, but at least give warranty on work done, that will in long run hurt business

Excels At Neglecting The Elderly....We were quoted $14,362.00 to connect my Elderly Father's septic system to the City's main sewer line, we were told by the representative for Bell Brothers' Mr. Tea on August 1st, that the project would take two weeks to complete, the project was completed today, 01/19/2023. Five Months Later!!!!The Bell Brothers' representative blamed our family for not having paid for the permit to have the connection made, we had to prove to Bell Brother after they would start work when all the information was available to Bell Brothers if they would have performed the necessary inquiry with the City as we were assured by Mr. Tea.Bell Brothers were not licensed to perform work in the City of Ceres. It took Bell Brothers over two months to send the license and paid for the encroachment permits to the City.Bell Brothers did not perform the due diligence with the city or the county, blaming our family for the hold up on the permits, authorization, etc.My elderly sister had to make multiple trips to the City and the County to prove to Bell Brothers of our right to be connect to the main sewer line, fine out if Bell Brothers contacted them, if they paid for the permits and if they sent the business license, as we could not get answers to these questions from Bell Brothers.Repeatedly Bell Brothers' representative would assure me that he would keep me in the loop but in actuality I would have to repeatedly text and call Mr. Tea, then call the main Bell Brothers land line until I could get a response, I was told repeatedly by Mr. Tea to only call him and not the main business line.The Bell Brothers main customer service line would take my name and number, they would tell me someone would contact me with 24 hours, not once did someone call me to address my concerns about the safety and health hazards they left in front of the house, next to the road way and beside the house for over four months.Mr. Tea asked for payment multiple times before Bell Brothers finally completed the project today.Buyer beware of this company, especially if they have Mr. Tea give you a quote, by the way Mr. Tea liked to me honey...very unprofessional indeed!

The service tech. was actually here days before the original appointment date, which was great. He spent time setting up my thermostat before doing his regular routine inspection of my heating system. He identified and repaired a potential problem with the motor by installing a new capacitor. He give recommendations for new duct work in that attic which was really old. He even told me that I had quite a lot of bonus dollars available to go toward the repair should I need to have it done. All in all, he was knowledgeable, polite and even left my place clean as he found it.

We had a wonderful experience last summer they installed a new air conditioner for us... Works great!Now our other furnace fan was having intermittent issues where it turns on and off while running the A/C. I called Bell Brothers to come out to take a look.. The gentlemen showed up, was always very nice and courteous... However did not take the time to diagnose the issue. He had me click the fan on and off a couple time and said it works. And then checked our Nest thermostat to see if a fan scheduler was turned on to cause the issue was on. It wasn't of course... But he said that's likely what it was... It had previously been turned on.. But I know it wasn't. It was still happening that day and the three days before that. After not waiting a few minutes for the issue to happen, he tried to sell me their monthly maintenance package. And then on top of that charged me $79 for nothing. Said if it does it again to call them. IT HAD BEEN DOING IT FOR THREE DAYS STRAIGHT!Anywho... Will be going to someone else in the future. Got a name and number of another guy who doesn't charge until it's fixed.

My heater is out of order. I called Bell Bros and within 24 hours, they sent a technician to evaluate the situation. I was most impressed with the technician, Jonathan, who showed me pictures of the parts that need to be replaced while providing a detailed explanation of the parts and their functionality. He called the office immediately so they can order the part and check if it is still under warranty. If so, then all I will need to pay is their labor cost. Before he left my house, he checked his messages and immediately received a response that the part is available tomorrow. At this point, it is a matter of verifying the warranty coverage with the manufacturer. The work is not done to get the heater working again, but I am confident that I will receive the same excellent service. Stay tuned!

I had them out on Sunday they are very expensive charged almost $500 to install a toilet shutoff valve. They wanted to replace every part in my toilet because it would run on occasion. I just fixed it with an eight dollar gasket from Lowe's. Too expensive and they look for the easy most expensive way to do it. I asked about replacing a leaky shower valve said they should do both. They wanted over eight thousand dollars for that repair. I will be looking elsewhere

Bell Bros services our Heater, A/C, Ducts, plumbing, and Water Heater. On this occasion it was plumbing. The Technician arrived on time, was congenial and efficient, as usual. He did a complete inspection of our problem, asked if we needed anything else checked and was on his way. We are very pleased with all aspects of Bell Brothers.

A simple request for an estimate for sliding glass door and large kitchen window led to a response that it was not worth their time to come out and provide an estimate. I don’t know who these guys are, but they’re not the Bell Brothers I know. After accidentally hearing them talk down to my wife I would never use Bell bros for anything.. they were not the smiling faces seen on TV.

Serviceman Eddie Gonzales arrived within 25 minutes of my initial call to Bell Brothers. He was extremely professional and diagnosed the problem with my existing water heater through very comprehensive testing of the components. He presented the pros and cons of replacement vs repair very quickly and I decided to replace the existing unit. All of his statement regarding the superiority of the replacement unit were verified on the internet. The replacement was installed within 4 hours and Eddie Gonzales walked me through the operation, warranty, building inspection and service agreement on the unit. The workplace was left cleaner than he found it and he installed 2 smoke/CO2 monitors as needed for the building inspection and briefed me on that process. So, you get good quality work and products from Bell Bros. 25 minute arrival, no hype, honest service and parts on the truck. You get what you pay for in this world and I am extremely happy with my Bell Brothers experience today.

Bathroom sink that was 100% blocked from draining. Technician was able to clear it but said piping was almost 50 yrs old and had deteriorated to the point where it might stop up again. Our bill was $87 but he pointed out all the features of taking the $2401 year warranty for many HVAC items and inspections, including the $87 visit today. Seems like a win-win to me so we took it. We did not feel pressured to buy this plan and the tech was knowledgeable and polite in telling us the features and advantages of the annual plan. A job well done!

Until they got payed upfront via a loan they setup so they got payed before the work was finished! Many phone calls to their C/S and still not finished started in May 2023 now it’s July 2023. I originally had an appointment scheduled on December 15th, 2022 and asked to be put on the cancellation list which worked out great. I was called the morning of November 16th, 2022, and asked if I was available for that morning and said Yes come out. My unit is on my roof, I usually go with the Techs so I can ask the appropriate questions and see what is going on. I am retired out of the Building Trades and have sufficient knowledge of what to ask. Since I am an Old timer now, So I had to stay Grounded. The techs took more time than expected but I am SATISFIED with the results. I am not much on a Sales Pitch so I waived any additional Programs being Offered.

I've been a Bell Brothers member for two years now and have never regretted it. They're very prompt, efficient, great to outline issues and potential services but are never pushy. I feel like they are a partner in the ongoing maintenance of my home. The employees on the phones are always polite and the technicians are always professional. And wheny water heater went out in the middle of winter they were out to check it same day and had a new water heater installed in 24 hours. I'd say it's hard to find good help, but I did and it was easy. Thank you Bell Brothers!

Previously installed a new HVAC system on our house(not ours at the time); we moved in shortly after and the air is not working in one of the rooms. We called to have them service it out (previous owners gave us the paperwork so we know this is the company), and let us know there was an error with installation but will not let us know the information since we weren't the owners at the time of the installation. They refuse to give us a quote for the issue despite them known the concern. Poor customer service in our opinion.

We sign up for all services by Bell Brothers. We trust them and have used them for years. Our home is 28 years old, so they have come here for routine maintenance, repairs and replacements.

I had bell bros out today for a tune up on my A/C. Very pleased with the professionalism of the technician and the quality of work. I will have them back for sure!

Keith came to our home to fix a leak at the shower faucet. It turned out to be a more complex job than either of us expected, but he devoted his time diligently to finding the correct part, installing it, and completing the project competently. Keith, and Bell Brothers' plumbers and HVAC people generally, are consistently capable and efficient.

Home plumbing inspection-We are a member of the Bell Brothers Service Club and this includes a yearly heating and ac inspection and a yearly p[umbing inspection. We already had the AC and heating inspection. Today we had the plumbing inspection. The technician was very friendly and explained everything he was doing. He checked all of our plumbing fixtures and pipes, hose bibbs, toilet fixtures, showers, and bathtubs, water heater, and cleared drains. He checked water pressure and PH of our water. He did make some recommendations for work to be done later, based on some of the things he found. All in all, most of our system is working properly. It is worth it to know the condition of your house, rather than be surprised later when something breaks down.

Called regarding a faiiled water pressure valve, pressure climbed over 150psi, which caused several leaks. All leaks had been fixed and the valve was exposed and ready to change it for a new one. BB tech quoted over 1800.00 for the replacement, with 1200.00 of that going towards the new valve. The price was ridiculously high. I completed the job, using high quality parts from a specialty plumbing company for about 300.00 and 1 1/2 of work.

Adrian was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. He explained things to me in detail. He recommended an additional service and performed it. He made me feel well cared-for I'm very pleased with his service and that of Bell Bros overall.My more recent experiences with Miguel and Ben were equally satisfactory.

We had a full central heat and ac system installed in December of 2019. One of our ceiling vents leaked almost right away. Bell Brothers came and applied some sealant to the ducting and roof boxes. That seemed to fix it at the time.Here we are almost three years later and it’s leaking again. This time they are charging me to fix their previous mistakes. I’m not happy about it.Thought I’d share my experience with Bell Brothers. So much for customer satisfaction.I’m adding an update as I reached out to Bell Brothers as they requested. They sent out a technician to address my leak issue. He inspected the ductwork involved and applied a different type of sealant. Used ahose to verify the leak is remedied.I had used some tar type sealant the night it was raining and leaking. That had pretty much taken care of the leak. The technician spent well over an hour making sure everything was sealed properly.

Call Bell Bros for a clogged drained. Call service was very professional and polite. Response and scheduling was fast and on time. Service Techs came out on time and was very polite and professional. Did a good job unclogging the drain and help look at other issues. Would recommend services to others.

Best customer service experience! We had a clogged pipe issue during the weekend and a technician at Bell Brothers came out and had it fixed. What was special was that it was very late 8:30 pm and we didn’t expect a service call to be available after hours. But the technician came through for us and got the job done. Another unexpected experience was that he walked us through the entire process letting us know exactly what to expect. He really lived up to Bell Brothers slogan of expecting no surprises. That is impeccable customer service that’s rare these day and I really unique to Bell Brothers (BB). A highly recommended service. We will most likely go to BB for any of our plumbing and AC needs. Pleasant, not pushy. They were clean and they kept tightly to their time schedule. The guys that came to our place were excellent. I know that any time you call a service company to fix things they are going to tell you that you need this and that, so we expect it. This time it really was not much and of course I didn't bite. Surprisingly they told me I didn't need to replace the air filter yet (I'd replaced it two months ago but the other HVAC companies ALWAYS replaced the air filter without asking, needed or not, and then charged double the price of a filter). That's worth five points for Bell Brothers.I do think I might buy into their monthly service. I never ever do that as I hate having more monthly/subscription payments so I need time to ruminate. The value seems great but I'll have to do more research. Bottom line, I do recommend these people to come and do what they did for us today; check our HVAC, do a thorough cleaning, and check multiple points in the system including the output and condenser. It took them 90min.Clean. Smiles. Polite. Helpful. I'm not sure what else I could ask for.

Although they came out and fixed a problem they created, the anxiety it caused does not warrant any positive review. Be better prepared Bell Brothers when you create a problem, but then tell the customer it'll take 5 days to fix.

The mechanic was very professional,thorough and very friendly, responded to questions, suggested installing a surge protector (which doesn't come with a new furnace) to the furnace maybe in the near future. He also checked the temperature at all the vents' outlet when the furnace was on. He was very polite and knew what he was doing. My thanks to him.

Replaced parts for our A/C , now it isn’t working now after spending $873.00 so my husband called and left a message for someone to come back to fix our A/C to find out why it is not working. Very disappointed.

We spent top dollar on an HVAC unit, new insulation and ductwork years ago. The problem comes with their maintenance. Nothing short of an act of Congress will make them stop billing you. I notified them 4/2021 that the house was in escrow but today 9/2022 i got an email saying it's time to schedule the maintenance. They never stopped billing me this whole time. It has taken a lot to sort out a bunch of auto-pay stuff since my spouse died and even though they knew the house was in escrow, they insisted they needed proof that it was sold and it's my fault for not calling back. They bill you every month but they don't notify you to use your maintenance but once per year. Even knowing the details of a death and an urgent sale (along with all of the other horrible details of closing down a life and business) they refused to refund one single unused cent. I WISH this were the only incident that left a bad taste in my mouth (going back to when they sold pizza in Sheldon), but its not. They will take your money and try their damndest not to work for it. Everything anyone has ever said about them is true. Enter into a relationship at your own risk, but NEVER ever sign up for their maintenance program. If you need maintenance call an HVAC guy. These guys have no sense of morality or service. The only thing they will willingly do is cash your check.

I used Bell Brothers 12 years ago for an inspection that they charged me over $100.00 for.. no work done at all!!!!.they tried to sell me a brand new unit.. mine was old, granted, but it is still working today without ANY help from Bell Bros!!! They want me to pay over $20,000.00 for a new unit!! Mine is still working. But old and I will replace it but with a reputable company who is only asking half and / or less than half what Bell Bros is asking!!!!! for a lenox, Trane or American Standard Unit.

I called in Saturday 12/3/22 to schedule a clean out and was told 8am Sunday 12/4/23 then received a voicemail that my time was rescheduled for anytime after 12pm I returned the call and confirmed the time change. It’s been 3 hours, I call to ask if they know how much longer the wait would be and was told they try to wrap up the day by 5pm so I asked again I should expect the tech here by 5pm she said no it can take longer. Um why can’t I be given a time of how much longer the wait will be. Reading past reviews from 2 weeks ago a customer mentioned she/he was told a tech would arrive in a hour and they did? But I’m being told they can’t say how much longer. I’m still waiting.

The work was done quickly and communication was excellent.Update 5/14/20: we needed unscheduled service on our AC unit. Dispatch was polite and very helpful. The service I received on the repairs for my A/C was frustrating. The technician arrived and subsequently deduced that I had to purchase parts for my system. The problem was that it took nearly three weeks in which to complete the repairs, while my family and I suffered through the the hottest, smoke-filled air summer in years. Then, the technician convinced me to enroll in their Rewards Program at a monthly fee of $19.99 per month to take advantage of priority services, only to find out, that maintenance is low on their priority list, and I wouldn't allow me to be scheduled for simple maintenance that my have taken a hour or two at best until a month or so into the summer.

I called them today to ask about the special they have going on with air conditioning. They said they have a tech in our area and would be over shortly. Ezequiel showed up, checked on top of the roof, in the attic and was here about an hour. Said everything looks great. He was a nice guy very thorough and they will definitely get my business if I ever need anything.

I do not use their service and have not ever used their services but due to the constant spam letters I receive from this business ever month I never will. They must charge a premium in order to afford the postage to bombard me and my neighbors with letter after letter for services we don't want. I don't know what marketing genius came up with the plan to go postal on non-customers but I'd suggest to stick to normal advertising like a normal businesses.To be fair, if I can go 8 months without this harassment I will remove my rating but until then my review will stand.

We called the bell brothers because we were told they did a good job. They came out for the initial inspection (charged $99, we gave them $100 because they didnt have change ) They told us what was wrong with our heating unit and said they can fix it and it would be about 5 to 7 days. We call today to get an update (5 days later) and they said they wouldnt have it until JANUARY!!! In the middle of winter . Had they been honest and said that, we couldve called someone else , instead we were waiting on them. Had we not called we NEVER wouldve known!! Horrible customer service, and making a promise they could NOT keep. I would not recommend them to anyone.

You're not a company I would recommend or request back, technician said after 30 minutes said the AC unit could not be repaired, said it HAD to be replaced, tried selling me a new unit for $18000+, first thing rep did when he stepped out of the vehicle was tried selling me a service contract for $20 a month. You still charged me $99 for doing nothing but wasting my time.Contact another service company, they replace solenoid and had it up and running in less than 20 minutes.your company is a disappointment to technicians, companies such as yours should not be allowed to continue in business ‼️

Paul was really professional and polite.

Plumber looked at shower valve and couldn't remove the valve so he was going to charge me $2500 to cut away some tile and replace the valve. This was suppose to take him half a day. So if you think about it, parts would have been maybe $200 max and labor would be $2300 for up to 6 hours. That's $383 dollars an hour. Since I didn't just fall off a turnup truck I decided to have someone else do the work.

The whole process from the moment I called to make an appointment for service to the service itself was excellent.Nick C. was the technician who came out to my house and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Every step of the process he explained what he was doing, spoke about what problems might and did exist, showed me the problem my unit was having, and answered all questions I had in a professional and understandable manner.He was also able to fix the problem right there and have our furnace up and running quickly (about 30 minutes, though it would have been less had I not asked a lot of questions).Over all I am very pleased and will highly recommend Bell Brothers and Nick C. to anyone who needs HVAC service.

Following a routine annual furnace service by another company, our heater stopped working. That other company sent a second technician out the next day. This individual took the furnace apart, said I think it's your fuel line, I can't help, and left...without putting the furnace back together!Maurice with Bell Bros came out this afternoon, gave the system a good cleaning, adjusted the fuel pressure, and the system is back up and running! Maurice was extremely professional, pleasant, and thorough in his description of what was done. Bell Bros is the only service company we'll be using moving forward.

Bought a nice big heat pump full system from them. Install will be on the 23rd of September. So far so good. Sales people were nice, technicians were nice for the check up. But we'll see what happens when everything is installed.

Tanner was our service technician for this service. He was very professional and friendly. I was impressed with his knowledge. In addition, he offered to do a good dead on the pipe coming out of the AC. It was a little too long and he was going to shorten it so it would not leak on the patio below. Turns out, it just needed a push back and it was fine. I was amazed at the offer. The only complaint I have about this business is that every time I call, I spend 5 - 10 minutes on hold listening to the advertisements. They need to hire more people to answer the phones.

I have a membership and inquired about canceling and was told that my membership had to be active for the year. When I asked when my membership reached its year mark, I never got a response but the person on the emails (Gabriel) went and canceled without my consent and then sent me a bill for the difference of a previous repair. This person made the bill due date out for the day that I sent the email asking when my membership was over. How can you ask someone to pay a bill of a due date on the day of the email correspondence??? Thats basically asking me to pay something without enough notice. I shouldn't even be billed because I didn't agree to cancel anything if the email conversation is still open and I never even got an answer to my question. Now a I received something in the mail that says 'past due' but I never got an original notice of a bill and mostly NEVER OFFICIALLY AGREED TO CANCEL SINCE MY QUESTION ABOUT MY MEMBERSHIP WAS NEVER ANSWERED

If I could give Bell Brothers negative stars I would. I was quoted 31k for a new HVAC System for a 1000 sq ft house. At the time I thought this was our only option, after much debate and other quotes we realized this was not right nor financially okay for us. We called the next day to cancel the job and were told a firm No and we would be charged for any parts that came in (we accepted the offer 1 day prior). First of all the job on the house hadn't started and we had a 5 day window time to cancel per their agreement, California Federal Law also states we have a 3 day window to cancel.The employee was pushy and very aggressive about the sale and I was not comfortable with how this situation was handled. We were able to cancel THANK GOD. Had we not been firm we would be 31k out with a system that was way too oversized for our modest house. I fear for the older generation or someone without a backbone being swindled by this company and their hard upselling.

I called them to come out to provide plumbing services. I was ready to pay the quoted payment. However, when it came time to schedule a tech to come out . The representative told me that the owner of the house had to call them to get the service out to my home. So I had to find other means to deal with this issue. If I'm calling and paying I don't understand why they had an issue with scheduling the service. On top of that I have written permission from my landlord to get a plumbing tech out to the house. I'm very disappointing and will not recommend anyone I know to Bell Brothers. How unprofessional and rude.

I had 2 Kohler elongated comfort height toilets installed. Scott Weiss did an excellent job. He did not mind me watching him work. I also learned a lot from him about how the newer toilets work. He was very professional and courteous. All boxes and old toilets removed. I love my new toilets.

Signed up for the package for annual maintenance. Great value.. includes HVAC, PLUMBING. Tech's came out to service HVAC. Findings were explained simply and suggestions recommended.My HVAC is 20 yrs old but had been working fine..but I'm sure it's time to update. Quotes were explained to replace unit. I felt the quote was fair, but the only thing was that I had to decide that day or the quote given possibly would not be available later. When you are going to spend an substantial amount of money I don't think you should have to decide right then and there.

They were on time and did an excellent job on our tune up for the A/C. they added some refrigerant and cleaned everything up. Could not have been better!

My house has two furnaces and two water heaters. In the last month, I have had two maintenance inspections for each of the systems. As a result, one of the water heaters has been replaced and I have had a kitchen sink, garbage disposal and faucet installed. I have interacted with 2 inspectors and 2 installers. They were great young people. They explained what they were doing as well as their conclusions clearly and effectively. My house was left spotless after their work. For scheduling, I interacted with several office staff, who were pleasant and effective. I am delighted with the service I have received from Bell Brothers.

The have been bought out by Service Champions.....Strictly a service company that turns its employees into salespeople!!!!A Plumber came out to my elderly neighbor's home in April of 2023 for a plumbing inspection. He crawled under the house and emerged and informed her that ALL of her plumbing (waste and water) was shot and in immediate need of replacement. Total estimate....$34,000.When I heard this from my wife, who spoke with our neighbor, I immediately went over and reminded her that I have been a Journeyman Plumber for 35+ years. I inspected her underfloor piping systems and found ZERO deficiencies. This is absolutely unacceptable, a once reputable company resorting to EXTORTING our elderly senior population.

ac was up and running in 15 min. i 4got his name but the thermostat was on but no response from the unit. he had to locate the lil fuse thats hidden inside the furnace it self and im telling you any other person woulda gave up and lied to get more cash out of me but he was a honest man and i greatly appreciate it. my kids do too

Heater not working. Called for service, they came out, estimated an initial $1500 for repair, (on callback, they dropped the price to $800). Recommended a new board, and high limit. Found the same board on the internet for less then $200, and the hi limit for less then $20. Replaced the hi limit first, and the heater fired right up. Board showed no error codes, and the flame burn was perfect. They were on contract to service the unit regularly, went in the house and found both filters completely clogged. I assume that is what caused the high limit to engage, due to lack of air flow. In fact one filter has a date marked back almost 2 years. I normally will never give bad reviews, everyone makes mistakes, including me, but this was not acceptable. The Tech should have checked all the obvious things first before wanting to replace the board. On top of all that, he recommended future replacement of unit, due to rust issues. I could not see anything that was that horribly rusted beyond normal wear for it's age. I'm not here to dis-respect this company, or tear down it's reputation, but please have your technicians try to be more aware of their jobs, and that not every customer they service is completely naive. This could severely damage your reputation. I'm sure all of you technicians are highly qualified, but in these tough times, we as customers are looking for honesty and integrity, money is tight everywhere, so please approach people with honest and reasonable quotes. You have the right to make a profit, but be fair about it. We are all replaceable.

Anthony was our service technician to preform our annual a/c maintenance. He was right on time and did a very thorough review of our system. He made several helpful recommendations which we will follow up on as a courtesy He repaired the broken latches on our a/c cover. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He is a credit to your company.

Nate was right on time, took the time to explain all recommended service, along with quotes, length of time to replace and how long our quote was valllid. We were verry pleased.

I love the service and the attention to detail that Bell Bros provides. They came for an annual plumbing inspection and were very thorough. While their services might be more expensive than some, with my membership, I get quick response, efficient and friendly service, and repairs are done right the first time. They also caught improper and downright illegal plumbing issues done by another company on a prior visit.

Cameron inspected my air conditioning system, changed the filters that are 12’ high and said that they should be changed every 3 months because dirty filters make the system work harder. Bell will do it for $19, all I have to do is call. It sounds too good to be true but time will tell. Will let you know in 3 months. He was courteous and explained what he was going to do and why. He cleaned the air conditioner unit, checked pressures etc. I liked his approach, very nice dealing with him.

Requested advertised A/C tune up. Technician arrived within stated time. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional, complete with shoe covers and mask. Our unit was working but noisy on start and stop. Problem was quickly identified and remedy with cost was agreed upon. Repair was quick. Johnathan just left after doing the yearly service check on out heating system. I thought he did a thorough job and I was more than satisfied with his visit.

I just recently moved into my house and my toilet downstairs and thermostat were giving me issues. My toilet was severely clogged, my downstairs AC was not blowing, and my upstairs heater was not shutting off when it was scheduled too (my SMUD bill was being affected by this issue.) The heat was so bad upstairs that I was sleeping downstairs to be comfortable and having to walk upstairs to use the restroom (Yes I know, HUGE inconvenience.) A friend of mine that had a great experience with bell bros recommended that I give them a call. After stating my issues and concerns with them over the phone, they informed me that they were able to send out two workers that would individually work on both issues that same day!Michael Flojo, and Wilber Aguilar did an amazing job and were very professional! Not only was my toilet quickly fixed, but Michael went above and beyond and went to Home Depot to buy a product to cover any scratches that were in my toilet. I truly couldn’t be any happier with the finished look (I’ve never seen a shinier toilet!)Wilber made his way in the attic and immediately determined that I had a bad motor as well as a wiring issue. He fixed both issues and before he left he made sure to test out all the vents upstairs and downstairs to make sure everything was working properly. All in all, their visit was quick and efficient and I was very impressed with their services! Bell bros goes above and beyond for their customers and I will not hesitate to contact them for any future issues I have. I can finally sleep comfortably upstairs and enjoy my shiny toilet :)

We had an unexpected 2 for 1 opportunity today. We were scheduled for our heat pump maintenance Check-up. The technician, Brian Garelick did a great job. He was thorough, efficient, and worked quickly. He kept us informed about the results of his inspection and answered questions along the way. Thanks Brian!We had a slow running bathtub drain. While Brian was here, I called the main Bell Brothers number to schedule a drain clean out and/or inspection. We are maintenance club members and were set up for a same day appointment. As it turned out, as Brian was leaving, Doug Gonzalez, the plumbing technician showed up. (That's quick service.) Interestingly enough, when Doug came to the door, he mentioned that he remembered being at our house for a previous service call. (His memory was better than mine.) Doug inspected and diagnosed the trouble quickly. Within 20 minutes, Doug had gotten his tools, cleared the drain and was all cleaned up. He answered a few of our questions. It was wonderful to have the drain working efficiently again and the work space was very clean. After Doug finished putting his tools away, he came back to the house to get signatures and approve final payment. He said he checked his records and was able to see that he had been at our home in 2020. That's a pretty impressive memory.I also need to put in a plug for the maintenance program. Because we are members, the heating system inspection was at no charge, we got priority scheduling for the drain clearing and we received a discounted rate on that service. Yes, we do pay a monthly fee, but this was one particular day when that all came together and worked to our advantage.Thanks Bell Brothers, we appreciate everything that you do. Your employees, from the telephone team to the service technicians are well trained and professional. All people we talked or worked with were positive and energetic. As a big bonus, I usually chat up the technicians when they are at our home. I can't think of a time when they didn't tell me how much they appreciated working for Bell Brothers. Kenny and Jerry, your commitment to your employees shows as much as your commitment to your customers.I hope I never need them again, but if I do, Bell Brothers will be my first call.

Excellent service provided by the AC Expert, Mario. He checked both units showing areas needing attention explaining each category to include the cost. Advised the timeline when I may experience an event to allow me time to budget future repairs. Loved the service. Very conscientious in wearing mask, foot coverings, gloves before entering my home. Trusting company.

Service tech was awesome and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed quickly. I’m pleased with the work.

I have been using Bell Brothers for 23 years. They have replaced my HVAC system twice. Once when I bought the home and again 17 years later. I had them out today for repair on the A/C unit. $99 for the diagnostic fee. I can agree with that. The gentlemen was there for only 1 hour to fix the problem. The parts were under warranty but the labor was not. I got a bill for $408 for 1 hour of labor. That is extreme. Total was $507 for 1 hour and diagnostic. I have always been happy with them and thought there fee was competitive but after today no more. I would not recommend them with fees like this.

Not the usual service we receive from Bell Brothers. The technician didn’t check our indoor filters. See attached photo. He also asked if we wanted him to check out system from in the attic instead of just doing it as I would expect.

This company is amazing. Appt. For $87 tune up and they took care of everything and even did some extra stuff at no charge! Highly recommend Bell Brothers Heating &Air. Ryan and his protege Sergio spent over 90 minutes making sure the unit was functioning properly and never once tried selling me something.

UPDATE 7/26/23 AFTER TRUE-UPOur energy usage has averaged a 20% increase every year since we installed this system with no changes in our lifestyle. The only way we can maintain usage at the levels we had BEFORE installation, is to turn the system off. Something is wrong, and we are waiting for Bell Bros to tell us how they plan to make it right.UPDATE 4/17/23 AFTER SERVICE CALL TO MAKE REPAIRSThis is definitely a very expensive purchase that we thoroughly regret. $32k for a high-efficiency system that they designed, and now they tell me the furnace and coil need to be removed and reinstalled..Plenum and zone board did not need to be repaired. Instead the no surprise guys told me I need to turn off my automatic thermostats and operate them manually as needed. Oh, and NEVER operate more than 2 of the 3 zones in my house at the same time.UPDATE 3/18/23 AFTER CONTACT WITH BELL BROSBell Bros sent a representative to inspect our system again, and offered to replace the plenum and reprogram the zone board. We requested a written explanation of those repairs, and how they would solve the problem. We have not received that information.UPDATE 9/19/22 - AFTER TRUE-UPMy energy usage (and annual bill) is higher after replacing a 20+ year-old system with one that is supposed to be more efficient. That makes no sense. We have fewer people in the house, and have had more than our share of power outages and flex alerts.UPDATE 9/8/21 - AFTER 3 DAYS OF HEAT WAVESince the insulation was upgraded, the temperature inside the house seems to be holding between 10-15 degrees cooler than outside. At this point, we are comfortable and looking forward to see if our heating/cooling bills are lower at true-up.UPDATEApproximately 1 week after this review was posted, I received a call from Bell Bros Sales Manager wanting to discuss my insulation options. When I gave him the details of my experience with his company, he apologized and offered to insulate my home at no cost. That was a more than fair offer and I accepted. In spite of some unprofessional communication issues, the work was performed yesterday and we are waiting to see whether it makes a difference in our comfort and/or our hvac bills. I am raising the rating to 2 stars now, and will be updating the rating further if we see some positive changes in how our system works.ORIGINAL POSTBell Bros installed complete HVAC system to replace 20 year old system in our 4000 sq ft house. They represented that new system would operate more efficiently and should decrease my heating/cooling costs significantly. Prior to installation, they inspected my entire system, including insulation and ductwork and made recommendations for the best system for my needs. I asked about insulation at the time of the install and was told it didn't need to be installed. Two years later, my bills are HIGHER, and now they tell me I only have 6 of insulation when I should have 16. Temperatures in my house are consistently higher than the selected temperature. I have one room which takes more than an hour before the air begins to blow. They tell me it is because this room is so far from the unit. They are the ones who decided where to place the unit. Very unhappy with the difference between what they told me I needed, and what I actually got.

My family has employed Bell Brothers for almost twenty years, for many different services. They are always professional, , prompt, take time to explain everything (repeatedly if necessary). They take steps to ensure they don't make or leave a mess. I recommend them without hesitation or limitation.

We all had the best service technician possible. Timothy Ortiz took the time to diagnose everything properly and gave me some suggestions to save us some money. We truly appreciate his professionalism.

My mother and I have been totally satisfied, impressed and thankful for all the techs who have serviced both our old air and heat units under the maintenance contract. Again, Kevin, like other techs, did a thorough service call, explained and answered all questions about the unit, and was courteous and professional.

Bell Brothers is the only company I trust. Extremely professional and the workers that come out are always very pleasant. When they used my hose to spray off the condenser they even took the time to unravel all the kinks and put it away nicer before they used it.

Jamie was great-quickly assessed what needed to be done. Left to get needed parts, installed and repaired what was needed. Did so by noon.

They are right on top of things! Did wonderful warranty service on our HVAC system? Repaired within 24 hours of our call! They take care of all our plumbing needs!

Very pleased. The technician showed up on time, introduced himself, explained the process and got to work. We were scheduled for the $87 AC inspection and he was here a little over two hours and did a very detailed job. I feel confident he did everything he said and that was expected. Jose was personable and friendly throughout the process. At the end he explained again everything he did, showed me pictures, and went over line by line all the notes he took and would email me. He provided his recommendations (monthly service play of $14.95 and they come out twice a year to inspect as well as flush the plumbing) Will absolutely use this company again!

what is advertised on tv as the perfect plumbing experience could have been a fair statement, if i were to only critique the technician, who was personable and competent. however, the cost for replacing two p-traps... $683... (after discounts, which was completed in very little time) was totally outrageous. the friends and relatives i shared this with concurred with my assessment, and bell bros. lost many potential customers that day. i guess someone has to get saddled with the cost for all those tv ads, and for the big profits which go to the new investors.

Just wanted to say we had great service guys today from Bell. They were so nice informative clean up after. We are enjoying our new air conditioner today.

5/2/2023 - Very thorough and professional. The technician identified failures and potential failures (Fuses, capacitors, etc). His system knowledge was evident when he demonstrated the purpose of components and effectiveness of maintenance. He also went over and beyond to provide quality for the HVAC and related systems even in the rain. These guys are professionals and friendly.

A/C service was by Brian. He was thorough in his performance and spent considerable time making sure the system is good order. He then carefully went over his observations and recommendations. Could not be happier with Brian and hope he performs my HVAC service in the fall.

Worked with Kevin he was very knowledgeable, explained step-by-step. He went above and beyond and for that we’re grateful.

A few years ago I installed a new ac and heater unit. I was suppose to be on a list for automatic service and checks but haven’t heard from them since the install unless I call. The salesperson was pushy and I actually had him come out a few times with questions, he had the nerve to make the comment that he had invested some time with us and expected the sale.I’ve read horror stories on our neighborhood site and am not sure if I really want them in my home now. Over quoting on service/repairs, which is probably why they advertise one quote, they make sure they have enough padding in the quote to cover them, employee morals questioned, seems their reputation is tarnished and going down hill. I guess that is why we are seeing more commercial advertising for business.We are seniors and cannot risk financially or safety wise, by using a company that goes back on their promises. They also used an outside company to blow insulation in my attic and they did a horrificJob, opened my door to our heater and insulation was everywhere. Here I thought Bell Bros was doing the jobs and it was being subbed out to who knows what companies. Bell came out and redid it, but no apologies only excuses. Pretty sad I must say that they have lost site of what they advertise and promiseI just received info that Bell Bros no longer owns this company. Which explains why they are who they are. Please note Bell Bros., don’t send me one of your canned responses, I don’t want to hear it. We want nothing more than to blah blah blah. DO NOT USE-THIS COMPANY TOO MANY FALSE PROMISES!!!!

My husband and are getting up there in years and sometimes wd need things explained in simple terms. That was done. We are on a fixed income (both retired) so every discount that applies we are told about. We both feel VERY good about Bell Bros.

Paul was exceptional. Dedicated, friendly, focussed and a great communicator! He explained to me in advance what he'd be doing and shared results, possible future issues. Great service!

This was a scheduled annual heating maintenance service. No problems prior to this service. After service, the condensation pipe is now leaking in 3 places and there were leftover parts, a cut piece of pvc and debris laying on the floor. After calling to report the problem, the same technician returned to fix it yet it has not stopped leaking. A third call got me a different technician who stated he didn’t have the parts and they would be ordered and a new appointment will be set. As for them touting “ the no surprise guys” I AM surprised how bad a job they did. 2/11/2023

All employees (on phone and in person) were friendly, professional and helpful. Very smooth process all around. I've used them to service my heating/ AC units 3 times now in the last 3 yrs and will continue to use them.

A month ago, our ageing HVAC, in an ageing home, gave up the ghost. Both Heater and A/C needed to be replaced. Been putting this off for far too long. Bell came out and their excellent reps gave it to us straight and we went for it. Big job! All day job! Very impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. These guys busted their butts for an entire day. I wouldn't have believed people still worked this hard until I saw it with my own eyes! So we've had an opportunity to run both the furnace and A/C in this seasonal transition. Both are quite impressive. First off, they get to the desired temp very quickly, within minutes. Second, they hold that setting like a rock, very impressive. Had to turn off the A/C yesterday cause the setting was too low and we were freezing. That hasn't happened in years. Bottom line: Just read that consumers are giving out five stars like candy but in this case Bell deserves ten!

This technician was very thorough and highly interested in doing what was needed. He was courteous and eager to answer any and all questions. I was impressed with the inspections he did and the suggestions he made. I will definitely use them in further work I may need and recommend them highly.

Technician was very knowledgeable, although repair turned out to be more involved than originally thought. He accommodated as best he could, a part had to be ordered and caused a delay in completing project. My only other comment is that the price for repair was very expensive and seemed out of line.

First contact was quick and efficient. The second wasn't as good, some confusion. The technician was polite and respectful. Took care of the issue quickly and professionally. Tony was very professional and friendly.

They've replaced both my HVAC and more recently replaced my hot water heater and re-piped my house - I had original rusty and corroded steel pipes from 1952 and I am so glad I got them replaced BEFORE they completed died! (Proactive rather than reactive, I've already come home from vacation to a plumbing disaster at a previous home which put me living in a hotel for 2 months.)The service men were very polite and helpful, I'd recommend them to anyone!

Christian came out to our home to perform the rejuvenation service on our HVAC system and was extremely informative of what the service includes and exactly what to expect. After completing the 26 point service inspection, I was provided with a complete report on the findings including photos of all the areas that were tested. I highly recommend this company to anyone who cares about extending the lifespan of their HVAC system and wanting the peace of mind that the system will perform at its best.

I've used them a few times before. We have an ongoing plumbing problem. Our first tech, whom was awesome! I didn't catch his name. But young guy, Caucasian, blond hair, had a ponytail. We explained our ongoing issue, for almost 2yrs now. He offered to get us a camera put down out line, the same day, at no charge! We we're ecstatic! Our camera tech, ugh, whom I didn't catch his name either, he was awesome as well, they both were at explaining everything because believe me i was asking questions. Kevin took care of the annual check up in a professional manner. I appreciated his cleaning the reusable filter he exchanged for a another I keep on hand.

Travis had me water for the evening on the official Christmas observed. He came back two days later and took out his quick fix and installed a very professional incoming main. He came in the dark just so I could have water and get a shower. Great work, pricey yet quickly.

The kings of the hard sell and over pricing. The experience is worse than buying a used car from Al Bundy. They are a high pressure sales group wanting to sign you up for monthly subscription maintenance fees. $100 just to look at you and they charged nearly $200 for a capacitor that costs $10 retail. Will tell you specific parts are toast and you’ll need to buy all new everything for thousands when other companies will just replace the broken parts for a few hundred. It’s all very much the worst cliches of used car salesman torture.

Luis, did an excellent job explaining how my system works, what recommended repairs/adjustments were need and the overall condition of my current system. Additionally, he was professional, knowledgeable and patient. Other than having to pay a few dollars for the needed repairs, the experience was good.

Stay away from these people... They overcharge for their services... You can find better prices in town without paying for the same job that someone else can do professionally. I had one of these people come to my home and check out my AC unit. They charged me $120 only for 10 minutes of a guy coming out here and taking a look at it. Then, he recommended to change the unit and got quoted at $23k including discounts and incentives from the SMUD HPP program. Then, I called another company and they quoted me at $10K for a better system. Ended up going with the other ones for sure. These people have so much overhead that they have their prices super inflated much higher than the current inflation that we are living through. Just beware that there are better options out there that can save you money specially in these hard times and not charge you a tremendous amount of money for someone to take a look at your things only 10 min.

He took pictures of everything he inspected, and then went over all of it with us. He also included the pictures in the written report which was very helpful to identify what work was done. We've had Bell Brothers help us with everything from HVAC inspections to main water shut off valve replacement and their professional techs perform quality work each time. Most recently Eddie came out and helped us solve a couple of plumbing issues we had - he was great! Explained everything, provided two estimates for different scopes of work, and then did a beautiful job on the repair. We'd definitely ask for him again!

March 30, 2016, Danny Cam performed A/C Maintenance on my system. It was performed in a professional manner, everything checked. A new Hard Start Kid was recommended and installed. System working perfectly. I was involved in HVAC so that is how I know the system is working correctly. Another Technician was checking or watching Danny and they were both very professional and very kind and answered questions and explained everything so well. The technician who showed up was one I had asked never to be sent to the house again. We had to repair the last few things he “worked on” and yet here he was again. Funny thing is he criticized the work that he had done believing someone else had been there.I was told they would only install their own disposal. However, they had to go to Home Depot once they got here to pick it up. Why couldn’t I have done this to be prepared and to speed things up?They arrived two hours after I was told they were on the way.Took approximately 40 minutes to get through the invoice/make payment. Payment was done on a phone so invoice was difficult to read.The installation was done in under a hour. The entire process took approximately 4 hours.

My local Michael's is nice. It's a relatively small shop so the shelves can be a bit on the bare side. The staff is always really nice though.

Bell Brothers is wonderful. Customer Service is exceptional. Always polite, friendly and knowledgeable and so much more. I have routine maintenance twice a year. Always a great experience.

Technician was very professional and courteous. On time and explained everything he was doing and why. A great experience.

Excellent customer service!!! My air conditioner went out and Bell Brothers was able to get someone out the next day even though it is a very busy time of year for them. Tanner was so helpful and courteous with amazing attention to detail.

Had Bell Bros. Inspect my hvac. Nothing is wrong with it but they wanted to sell me a new unit at $23,000. I do not need a new unit. Got another bid from another company at $10,000 just to check. Bell Bros. Came three times to repair one of my bathroom sink drains and I finally had to do it my self. I am handy but am getting older and can’t do what I used to do. Now they have come four times to repair a tub faucet. After four times the faucet is backwards and there is black caulk on my white tub fittings. When I called them after this they want to come back a fifth time to fix it. Never seen such bad work.

This company has been wonderful from beginning to end. With no pressure consultation and estimate to the installation. The installation was the best. We got windows and a slider for the whole house and they were here in the morning, on time, and left earlier than estimated but put detail into the work and every window looks fabulous. The installers were all pleasant and very professional. We cannot rave enough!!!

The workers arrived on time, worked efficiently and gave a report on what they had done and what suggestions they would give to update our system. They were very professional. We have always had excellent service from Bell Brothers and I would recommend Bell Brothers to anyone.

Marcelles did an extremely thorough job! He was to explain what he was looking for in performing the service.
Marcelles also installed an iWave to assist in my attempt to clean the air in our home.

We paid over 3k to have repairs done on our A/C - furnace. 3 months later no A/C. 3 different workers came out no one could diagnose the problem. Now we are told minimum $1500 to locate problem then price of repair. Waiting on management to phone us. Will follow up with outcome.

Awesome!!! Really helped me out quickly and professionally for a leaking shower issue. I sent a message on yelp over the weekend and received a response within a few hours. Over the weekend I was able to schedule an appointment for a time and day that worked for me to have someone come out. They showed up on time!! Took care of my problem quickly and explained to me what had happened. Would highly recommend!!

The Bell Bros. representative completed the bi-annual inspection and cleaning in a professional manner. He showed up in a timely fashion as promised. Overall excellent service was provided.

This is the second time I have had a service call and each time I have been more than satisfied with the service rep. Gene Holden explained and showed me what service he was going to do. He explained it in a manner that was clear and simple to understand. He is a great service rep and I hope I get him again for my next service visit.

Great experience with Bell Brothers. It took several service calls but the problem was eventually diagnosed and fixed on our AC unit. Thankfully they stood by there word of being the no surprise guys and refunded us some of the costs. I definitely recommend them if you need help with your AC unit.

I want to thank Nicolas for the great service he provided to us on 3/3/23. He was delightful, attentive and a pleasure to have in our home. Nicolas is knowledgeable and provided us with important information on how our AC unit works and provided detailed info on how he tested the unit and finally what he recommended needed to be done to keep the unit running at the optimal level. Tech Nate did an evaluation and offered suggestions on possible repairs to a vibrating pipe issue. Was very thorough and informative. Scheduled time to initiate possible repair.

Estimates were unreasonable, off the charts and ridiculous for the service proposed

Today I had Ryan check my system for the summer. He was extremely well prepared, very polite, very informative. I was very helpful to me.Ryan showed me my the details of system, dismantled the air-conditioning so that I could see exactly how it works, and let me know what would be best moving forward.I very much appreciate the quality of all of the Bell Brothers technicians, and their constant and wavering dedication to serve their customers.

I am very happy with the technician that came to fixed my Central Air condition. He is very polite and professional to the client. He is very much knowledgeable and answer all the questions. I am glad to have him checking our unit. Thank you and recommended.

Melik came out to do maintenance inspection on our heating unit. He noticed water in the pan and that there was no flow valve installed. He also took the blower off and showed us the dust materials that were collecting in unit. He suggested an air scrubber, which we got a quote for, the last time unit was inspected. He said they would honor existing quote, which was lower then current pricing. He installed both the float valve and scrubber and gave us a Military discount as well. Upon turning on the AC unit, it made a big clatter. He said he would take a look and see if something was just loose. He took off the housing unit, turned and tightened the blade and put it back together. Melik when way beyond our expectations. We would like for him to service us all the time. He truly cares about older people and is happy to assist.

William Hayden was clean, polite, professional and focused and did a great job. He had to replace a part and we now look forward to cleaner air. Thank you

I had my system installed by Bell Brothers 5 years ago. I get my system serviced every 6 months, always great service and punctual. Would recommend them to anyone

Scott was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how our plumbing system worked and the ways in which it can become clogged. The work was done professionally and he was very tidy. I will call Bell Bros. and ask for him if we ever need service again.

Didn’t have the work done. Went with another company. Bell Brothers has haunted me ever since. I’ve requested removal from mailing list but they ignored me. Instead they now send things to my wife. When I call they’re rude. So get an estimate at your own risk unless your okay with endless ads that waste a lot of paper and resources.

I usually get great service. Always happy to pay a little extra. This time the office side of the service was horrible. Really poorly managed, and executed. The service tech was good, though slow. If this is their new normal, then we will be looking for a new cmhvac service company.

Quinn, was excellent he stayed focus on the job at hand, which was installing our thermostat. He was very knowledgeable, kind , and professional and gave us options that saved us money in the long run. I highly recommend Bell Bros for any AC/ Heating needs, I have even used them for plumbing in the past with excellent experience as well.

Bell Bros technicians are clean, professional, pleasant, and of course knowledgeable. They were thorough with the maintenance service and answered my questions about other concerns & appliances.

We have had our HVAC systems and water heaters installed by Bell Brosthers in the past. So why not look into their windows. Felipe came out and demonstrated the efficiency of the windows. We had received quotes for other windows and the price was not reasonable. We were impressed by the price Bell Brothers quoted us so we moved forward. The crew who installed the windows were professional, very courteous, took great care to cover our floors and rugs, and worked efficiently as a team to complete the work. I can't say enough about how easy they were to work with.We are very happy with the quality and look of our new windows. So glad we called Bell Bros to handle this project for us.

Bell Brothers are the best for me great looking men and their smiles and working with our time schedule and doing things as fast as they can especially in three digit temperature days. They didn't once complain about anything and they loved my signature ..... 😂. We know we can count on them anytime. I feel bad after all those hot days they fixed the air conditioning but now we don't use the air conditioning much now it's cooler weather but for sure ready for next year.
