The technician (Jesus Jr.) did excellent work. The technician answered all of my questions in a way that is easily understandable. The technician was very friendly, easy to relate to, and acted in a professional manner. The finished product looks very clean, neat, and organized. For example, the sealant used for the pipe fitting looks be neatly applied. I will request this technician again for future plumbing work.

I was very pleased with the work that Chris did for us. At first I called because my sewer was overflowing and he was in there in less than 2 hours. Marlene was very helpful and courteous and when I told her about my problem she said they would get to me asap and she did. I got a call from her telling me Chris was on the way. Chris came and told me why my sewer was clogged and how to avoid it happening again. Fixed it in no time. I will only be calling them again as they really care about their clients. They were knowledgeable, came out same day, courteous and prices were more than comparable. I will always be calling them for any plumbing problems. Thank you again.

These are the facts, no opinions! I have a problem with a small leak from my upstairs toilet when I flush. It had eventually dry rotted a portion of the wall downstairs. I had pulled the toilet and installed a new ring, thinking that may have been the issue, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Initially when I called Affordable Plumbing they scheduled the technician to arrive Sat 9/11/2021 between 3pm-5pm. The technician did not make it between those times, instead, I had to call to check and see if they were going to come at all. The person who answered informed me that the technician got caught up in a job that took too long and would need to reschedule for the next day 9/12/21 between 10am-12pm. I accepted the reschedule. This morning 9/12/2021, around 9:30am I received a call from the office saying that the technician will not make it until 1:00pm.
When the technician arrived he did confirm that a leak was coming from the upstairs toilet, but wasn’t sure where the leak originated. I told him that I had pulled the toilet off again and was able to pour water straight down the drain and produce the leak. He then asked for me to do the same thing while he tried to see where the water was coming from (looking through a large hole in the wall where I pulled the damaged drywall) but he could not confirm where the leak was coming from. I asked if he had a diagnostics camera that maybe would help in finding the leak. He said that he had to contact his supervisor to see if that can be done. After talking to his supervisor, he said that would cost 250.00 to use the camera, and would be best if the cabinet and more plaster was removed to try and expose the leak. The technician suggested that either I remove those components or have someone else do it for me. He charged me 129.00 for the “exploration” that he did (nothing more than what I had already done).
Now my opinion! Basically a technician was sent to do NOTHING MORE of what I had already done except shine a smaller flashlight into the wall and suggest that more things need to be removed to expose the leak before it can be fixed.

Curtis and Monte did an awesome job removing my old one and installing my new water heater. They were very professional and got everything up to code. I would highly recommend them. Five Stars!!

Chris and Curtis from Always Affordable Plumbing came out to inspect my shower head leak this afternoon 12/2/19. I was impressed right away with the punctuality and professionalism from both of them. Within thirty minutes, they had diagnosed the issue and had a solution to fix the leak. They walked me through the problem on how to fix it and were very knowledgeable in answering all my questions and concerns. In total, they were at my house for an hour and had everything fixed. The people at Always Affordable were absolutely great to work with. Randy completely impressed me with his punctuality, hard work and attention to detail. Called them today for an elderly friend of ours. They were there within hours (all other companies I called said it would be next day). They fixed her problem, cleaned up the water from the kitchen floor for her and didn't charge her a dime! You don't come across companies that very often anymore. My husband is a roofing contractor and tries to do the same thing. Nice to know there are others out there. Pay it forward!!

So we got an inspection yesterday. I’m a Realtor, this was for my buyer. We were quoted $13,585. I had a second plumber come today for a second opinion, because that seemed very high. He/we viewed the videos provided and did his own evaluation. When we viewed the videos there was not massive root intrusion. There were a few incredibly small roots that can be hydrojetted out. Also part of the line was partially collapsed but it was at 8 feet and the entire line does not need to be replaced. The other plumber said, between an issue in the kitchen and The issue with the line, he conservatively quoted 5k……… odd how’s that’s less than half the quote I received.

Curtis came out about less than 15 min after I called and took care of the problem. I have used other companies in the past when you dont know anything about plumbing you can get taken advantage of. Curtis was fair and did a good job I’ll ask for him again. This guy deserves a bonus

Nathan & his crew have been my go-to plumber for over a decade. Just had him help me with my kitchen remodel and he was a huge part of my bathroom remodel, too! Prices are always fair, and they respond to calls fast!

The water heater broke at our cat hotel (Pats Boarding Place for Cats). Nathan worked with us over the phone and with photos and video. He was able to beat another quote we had received and he had been referred by people we trusted, so we decided to use his company.

When the technician came out to the site, they realized that the project was a little more involved than first expected. The unit that we had in our custom cabinet was only 17.5” wide. Research showed such water heaters are no longer available. Our custom cabinet was not much wider, so our options were limited for the replacement unit. Nathan did not give up. He eventually found a tank, that was the same capacity and that would fit. This involved several visits by his technician, James.

James was professional, diligent, and absolutely dedicated to getting the job done. It took longer than anticipated given the parameters of the job, but Nathan stuck by his estimate and they got it done the same day that we gave them the go-ahead. The job involved electrical wiring and re-routing of plumbing lines. James even took the old tank and disposed it and the remnant pipes. He cleaned the area up nicely. I highly recommend this company and would use them again. They are worth every penny!

This has to be the most expensive plumber I have ever used. Nice guy but the cost of service for 2 hours of work was $550. This is not affordable plumbing. There are better choices that are actually affordable. It felt wrong throughout the process but i had the day off and needed it repaired. Will definitely never use this service again.

Highly recommend this plumbing co. They were able to get a plumbing pro (Jesus) to my house within a couple hrs of my initial call. The job was quoted and completed that same afternoon. All in, it was about 4 hrs from call to completion. Jesus was amazing and also provided some advice about some other minor plumbing work I plan to do myself.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! Everything transpired exactly how they said it would. They knew what they were talking about and they got the job done.

Never used before but was referred to by our property manager. who stated great reviews from herfriend.

Needed a gas control valve replaced that cost $189 (Found on Home Depot Website) Would have allowed my handyman to replace but it looked more complicated then I felt comfortable asking him to replace. Affordable came out and gave $65 diagnotic charge. After determinng problem quoted $725+. I figured it was a complex time consuming job as a New Bradford White Water runs under $1,800 installed by our usual plumber (Affordable quoted $2800-3200). From Diagnose to picking up part and installing, total time was 2.5 hours.. Charged $550 in just labor.

Very polite service tech but hands down the most expensive plumbing company we have ever used in 30+ years of business. They are polite, professional but affordable?...... only for customers that want to pay $175+ per hour for a service call.

Called for service to help me install an old toliet after I had floors redone and couldn't get the dang thing back on. They picked up on the first ring, had a technician (Joseph) out there within 1.5 and he fixed it within 20-30 minutes. He saw my brother and I struggling to move the fridge as well and offered to help which I think was very nice. Would absolutely call them again for service!

I was referred to these guys by a plumber I used before; and twice Andrew has come to help fix our home sewer main line. Andrew went above and beyond to help us get our plumbing issues fixed ASAP! We needed a few simple fixes, but other issues kept popping up along the way- Andrew was flexible and able to address the extra issues the very next day! He even came in on his days off and worked around our shop schedule so our team wouldn't be without water or working toilets. In addition to not only fixing our plumbing issues, Andrew had the task of having to locate water shut of valves that not even our property management company knew the location of!! He was able to map out and locate the valves among thousands of feet of piping, much of which led to nowhere. It's becoming more and more rare to see someone take this much pride in their work, so glad that we called Always Affordable Plumbing and HVAC!

CURTIS NEW his business just to pricey he didn't have to dig he didn't have to back fill he had to make 2 trips to Ferguson plumbing because he did not supply his truck with parts for out door faucets he didnt have to use his copper pipe i had some good brass tuning and offered to us it but all in all he did the job

In total, this team replaced about 140 feet of sewer line, installed 3 cleanouts and one city cleanout, cut and replaced some driveway concrete and returned the work area to better than when they started. Angelo tried to rip me off! He tried to charge me over $1,200, that's including a new faucet and garbage disposal. I said that it would be alot cheaper if I bought them myself which he insisted on him getting them. So, I bought them myself which cost me only $330. I found a plumber to do it for $200. Total: $550 far from $1,200. You do the math.

The workers were on time and very helpful and knowledgeable about the leak and repairs that needed to be done. They even gave advice for things I cam get done in the future for improvements.

IF there would be more than 5 star i would use it for Randy, This is By far one of the best Companies in Sacramento, Their technician are so knowledgeable and honest. I was very pleased with the service I received. I was in a pickle after I had a general contractor and saw a mini split AC unit. The general contractor damage the unit and the install was horrible. I was underneath a great level of stress because I had to get it done for my tenant that was in the unit. On Monday morning we woke up to ...S L O W... kitchen sinks. I took Ruby for her morning walk and spoke with our neighbors about our plumbing situation. They highly recommended Absolutely Affordable Plumbing in Sacramento, and said to make sure the company knew we were referred by them. Dylan arrived the next day and asked what he could do for us.

As I explained the kitchen sinks, Dylan listened carefully, inspected, and came up with his solution. I agreed with his assessment and proceeded to another project of deferred maintenance. Dylan's professional insight and experience was evident. I felt confident in his ability to handle the job, so I added another project to the list. I knew affordable still means expensive. And really! It can be so hard to contact a trustworthy and intelligent plumber who doesn't balk at the job.

Dylan had an estimate ready for me in about 20 minutes. He did the shopping and research for parts, arrived this morning with his able assistant, Isaiah, and they brought the big tools to complete the job in one day. Whew! What a relief and a pleasure to have this team!

We had conversations throughout the day to confirm their progress, and by the end, we learned about a portion of the sewer line to replace, not surprising on a 38 year-old house.

The sinks are flowing, the new disposal is installed, the leaky water main dug out and repaired, new shower fixtures installed, and the whole line cleaned out and scoped with a camera. The price was reasonable and discounted for the volume of work. We are now Golden Members and will continue to get a 15% discount on future jobs.

Curtis was great again! Fixed the water leak (tub spout replacement) on second job. Great customer service. We had water leak under floor in adjacent room and under some tile next to tub…so a bit troubling…should be all good now, no excess water leaking out. Camera inspection was very helpful for me to see / verify the leak was fixed. Good thing carpets are being replaced at new house soon and we’ll dry things out prior. Fingers crossed everything continues to hold up. Seems like it!

James arrived within minutes of me calling on a Friday afternoon and was very polite and respectful of me and my property. He cleared the clog in the pipes within 30 minutes and cleaned up the floor and cabinets where he was working. I was expecting the cost to be high so wasn’t too surprised it was $234 for a same day appointment to snake out the drains. I will use them again for future plumbing problems.

Now I know I will not go anywhere else! This company is great! I used them last year for my shower upstairs was leaking and dropping downstairs through the roof.
This time the faucet behind the washing machine was leaking and they had to cut and give me a price that was less then 1k. Compared to the 3k price I got from another company. I suggest becoming a member with then because the discounts helps a lot. Friendly and effective. They give you options on what you can do and not push their own agenda or profit off you.

I thought that Joseph & Jimmy Partnered well! First Joseph assessed the extend of my clogged pipes. The very next morning, Jimmy joined him I the endeavor to completely remove the clogs & assess my next steps.

Super fast response. Good people. The only thing I recommend is predictability of the cost. I would much like to know the hourly fee and minimum trip cost. If I'm told we charge $85 an hour, minimum 2 hours. Even if it take 10 min for the job, I would be okay with it. If it takes 2:10, I'm okay paying a full 3rd hour for the 10min. But, $59 trip charge and will decide what it will cost once you owe us $59 already? I get it, but I don't find it fair. Just food for thought. I know most companies do it your way.
Also, as much as we liked Jesus, we will expect a Raider fan next time or don't show. 49er Guy!!!! LOL.

Randy was determined to clear the sewer line.
He cleared it and recommended I contact the Sacramento Sewer District to scope the line on their side of the sewer line.

Great honest company to work with! Very professional!

They came and did the work that my handyman missed. Saved around $2700, if you pay cash or by check, which I did. My house was old (1957) and basically my sewage pipe broke on the underside leaking unknown nasty water and soaked the land under my house. The smell was undetectable but it was horrible. They came to inspect in one day, fixed the smell. Then fixed the rest over two days and I was able to stay in my own home throughout. Plumbers were very nice, helpful and friendly. I hope that I won't need additional work anytime soon but if I do I'll call them first. Had entire pipe system under house replaced for around $8k with a warranty. Very nice!

Honest and affordable

Curtis assessed our situation and used the less invasive method to find the source of our water leak. He was knowledgeable, cleaned up after himself on this messy project and we are scheduled to get an estimate for a complete remodel in that bathroom now. He took the time to be thorough and we feel we got a great value for the cost.

Didn't finish the job completely. Did the repair work good but left the hole not filled all the way and the old pipe that was replaced was left in a pile on my lawn. They said they were coming to finish but never showed and I had to do it myself along with take all the trash from the job to the dump.

They were fast to come out and check my water heater when I was having problems. Then next business day they showed up in the morning and installed new one. They were fast, friendly and explained everything so I could understand. Great job Greg and Jay.

Don't go by name, its a total rip off. The technician shows up an hour late, then quotes 500$ to swap out the cartridges in a leaking faucet. I paid 65$ for them coming to give a quote and did it myself for 30$.

I had a shower cartridge replacement service done. The job was done, plumber was nice but the price was outrageous… $325 for this service which took only 15 minutes. Not really affordable…

I also asked to have my existing disposal reinstalled after we replaced the sink. Another $325.00. Total estimate was approximately $695.00. I was informed by text who my technician Curtis would be and that he was on his way.....
He was on time and extremely professional and I appreciate that he wore booties to cover his feet .
There was a young man with him in training and he was very professional as well.
I really appreciate the notifications from the company and hands down I would call them again if needed as well as highly recommend this company .

Nathan and his team have been great at communicating what our job is going yo entail, they call and check in often, but haven't bern pushy. They work hard.

Pleasant human being, good conversation, walked me through what he was doing, and gave me some great information about my system. Always Affordable Plumbing and HVAC are my go-to company for anything plumbing or HVAC related. I have had their crew in my 1957 home many times; water heater repair, plumbing repairs and the latest...a complete split system HVAC replacement. The fact that the HVAC system we had, had came with the house over 20 years ago and decided to finally die during a 115 degree heatwave put us in a panic. My husband was recovering from major heart surgery and we were sure that no one would have any available techs to come out and repair it (let alone replace it). Nathan Brandon to the rescue! Nathan is knowledgeable and had always taken care of our plumbing issues over the years, but this was our first experience with the HVAC side of his business, but we put our trust in him. Nathan was as concerned about my husband's recovery as if he was his own family member. He got a move on it quick.

Once it was determined that a full replacement was needed, Nathan discussed our options with us thoroughly and the right size system was ordered. Within seven days of our first call, our new HVAC system arrived and the replacement was scheduled for the following day. Marshay and Jahmal arrived the next morning with everything needed for the installation right on time and did their magic. What a relief for us to feel cool air through our house again!

Their name says it all Affordable. I've always been worried about plumbing services being ridiculously expensive, but I didn't have to worry about that with them. $749 to replace a bathroom faucet! Most expensive repair ever!

This is the second time I used this company. The technician was very professional as was the last one. In and out. I will refer all my friends and family to use this amazing company!

I've used this service 4 times. Each time has been professional, timely, and affordable. Jesus went above and beyond to look at other plumbing jobs around the house and give me his opinion after he finished the service call. Will definitely use again.

Skeptical at first but was done efficiently. However I do recommend researching prices for said projects. And price compare. Hard to do that nowadays when most contractors have technecian fees just to come out, which this contractor didn't so that's a plus.
