After over one year of looking for a replacement thermostat for our smart vent system, I finally contacted Beutler (which I should have done initially)! From the appointment desk all the way through the replacement process, the experience could not have been more efficient or professional. Ian Stewart-Vital was the technician and I hope to be able to book him for all of our upcoming service calls. Highly recommend the company and Ian based on this experience.
I was happy with Beutler until I realized that their niceness was just a cover for stonewalling me on a significant repair issue that they didn't want to do under warranty. I had to get Home Depot involved to finally get the repair done.They don't return phone calls or follow up on service issues.Do NOT buy anything from Home Depot that uses Beutler for installation or service.
Excellent service and reasonably. Beuler was third company that inspected our A/C. The first recommended a new damper system ($3200). The second, a new damper control board and new damper motor. Ian came from Beutler, did similar inspections, testing and recommended simply stretching the damper spring and oiling the damper blade connections. ($241). Impressive, by the way, American Home Shield covered it all, including service call. Quite a superior call.

My A/C broke down during the hottest week of the Summer. I called and had a tech outTo check it fairly quickly. Unfortunately, my old unit was shot and I needed a new one.The next morning they were out installing a new unit and fixing a bad install that the previousHome owner had kind of gone cheap on. I got a new tank less water heater and ended up also getting a new shower installed. This company is not only honest and good quality, but personable and realistic. Great bunch of professionals and it has been a pleasure working with this company all the way around.
Took advantage of winter promo for HVAC inspection. Our technician, Mujib, was on time, honest, professional, and friendly. He wore booties in our house, explained what his plans/actions were before, during, and after our service visit. He went up to the attic, identified parts that were wearing out, in need of cleaning, and in need of replacement. He gave us his opinion on what needs to get done. He gave us options for our maintenance, and set realistic expectations for each option. Just had my ducting cleaned by Gamboa and Alfonzo. Both got the job done with very little mess. They cleaned what little mess resulting from removing vent covers and left over from installation. They were very polite and friendly. They had respect for my house and contents. This is very important.

I really don’t like doing this but I feel that I need to. I had a new air conditioning heating unit put in around 27 March 2021. To begin with I was upset at the time that it took them to do it . They claim they would do several things that were not done. I was also promised a years worth of filters that I have not seen yet and I have called several times about them, each time I’ve been told it would be taken care of.Couple days ago I had a problem with the unit. I woke up around 3 o’clock in the morning it was making a strange noise so I shut it off. I called Brian I believe it was on Thursday it could’ve been Friday morning, today Saturday I never received a call at this time. I’m sorry to say I would not recommend your company!

I will need to address some issues that I noticed once they were gone. I’ll wait to evaluate this company.
Beutler has been amazing to work with. Although their techs had messed up when they installed our compressor coil ($2500 fix) they stood behind their work and made us a priority to come fix it. Their original tech had misdiagnosed our system so we also got a full system cleaning for free, since it was his mistake and they wanted to make up for our wasted time. It's hard to find a company with true customer service oriented values anymore, but you can trust Beutler. We won't ever go through another HVAC place again!

First let me say that I have been with Beutler for 10 years. During that time I have had them installed 2 systems at two houses totaling more than $30,000. Problems seem to have begun with them being part of Home Depot .Had them install a new HVAC system in 10/2019 at a cost of $13,000. Three months later they informed me that they made a mistake and installed the wrong system. So old system torn apart and new system installed requiring me to again schedule city inspection and air flow test.IN April I turned on the AC and noted a water leak. Called in the problem and a tech came in to check. The tech ripped off the front panel and after an hour of poking around thought the problem for the leak was that the AC unit was out of plumb by about 1/8 inch. However, that really was not the problem at all.Pedro, installer/tech came in a few days later and found that the drip pan had a crack, about 1/8 of an inch wide, the system lacked a drain pipe for the stack pipe, and the drain line was not set in a way that would effectively drain the water, so he repaired that problem as well. It is beyond my understanding how the drip pan crack went unnoticed since it was right up front and at least 1/8 wide.So now the drip pan needed to be ordered. Few days later received a call saying the drip pan came in but the wrong part was ordered. Part reordered.. Few days later part finally came in installation rescheduled. Beutler cancelled install and rescheduled for another day.OK so this time the install manager came in himself. He finished the repair and left without starting the system. Next day I turned on the system and it did not work at all. Nothing came on. So on Friday 10th I called the manager to let him know the system was not working at all, but he was not at his phone so I left a message. It is now the 15th and I have not received a return call from Beutler.I really believe they no longer care about customer service. Since I financed this system through the Home Depot 24 month plan I will call the credit dept and let them know that I will withhold payments unless my system is brought up to standards and I receive a call from someone in senior management with an apology.

We have been with this company since 1997 and 2 hvac systems. Very happy with their performance and value.
Our tech was amazing and they were flexible with their schedule.
We recently had Beutler replace both our heating and air conditioning systems. They were fantastic. They got it all done in one day!! We have good, quality systems now that do an amazing job more efficiently. I recommend Beutler to other homeowners. We also have them come regularly to inspect our systems. The best part was when the City of Sacramento came and inspected their work. The Inspector let us know that Beutler did an excellent job. It was neat, clean, and very well done. I don't know what they inspect, but everything passed with high marks! That really made us feel good. Thank you to Beutler for taking good care with our large investment for our home.

Beutler is one of the most professional companies I have ever hired. I don't see them advertise as being Diamond Certified, but that is how they act, everything about them is first class. I first hired them through Home Depot to do a HVAC inspection, which eventually led to replacing two furnaces. The work was done quickly and to a high level of quality by a super friendly and conscientious crew. When there was a condensation problem a few months later, they quickly came out to inspect, fixed the issue on the spot, then lined up a dehumidifier followed by a drywall/texture/paint contractor, all at no additional cost. Things go wrong in life, but what sets the great companies apart from the good is how they react to issues, and I couldn't have asked more from Beutler. They are top-notch all around and I highly recommend them to anyone requiring HVAC work. I know I will call them when my AC units eventually go out...but hopefully that won't be anytime in the near future.

Had a few attempts to get our AC problem solved. Hector/Josh took ownership of the problem and really stepped up to put customer service first. They worked with us on the AC issues and billing that was fair for both parties. Very rare to see a company go the extra mile for it's customers these days. Will stay with Beutler as long as they keep up the great customer service!

Originally, I was scheduled for outine a/c maintenance yesterday. But they never came to my house, luring the four hour window period, nor did they called me to tell why. Even after many phone calls by me inquiring the reason for why I didn't get my scheduled service yesterday, all I got was a run around with no answers. However, today I received my service for my a/c and the hvac technician Marcus M. McMahon was very nice and professional!
I had a technician named Fidel come to my home to diagnose my AC unit. He concluded that the motor for the furnace needed to be replaced. He claims that this standard part needed to be ordered. I never heard from him again once he left. i called the office and left several messages requesting for him to call me back. (Per the their policy, the servicing tech has to order the parts needed for the job). But that call never came. Very unprofessional, i will never do business with this place again. I called Bell Brothers, they had my AC working again within 30 minutes.

I've had a service contract for several years, with Beutler. I pay for the consolidated service pack, that covers heating, ac and water.Their service techs have always been punctual, and knowledgeable.I particularly like the fact, they make observations, but don't push an up-sell. They leave it entirely up to me to decide if the work needs to be done.Having a contract like this is worth it, just for the peace of mind. Added to the service they provide, I highly recommend it.

I seriously regret using them. We had issues with them during the installation of the unit, they were supposed to finish the job by installing the return vent cover, and after three no shows they finally came out, also it took almost two months. Now it's cold and the bedrooms are not getting heat and it has been two weeks, and two missed appointments and we still have cold bedrooms after installing a brand new unit. Don.t use them you will regret it.

Probably the worst customer service ever. I called Beutler because their website advertises that they are available for emergency situations 24/7. I called them THREE times over the weekend and spoke with Kailani each time, who was beyond rude - each time she said she would have someone call us back. Finally, SHE - not a plumber or a technician - called me back, laughed at our situation while telling me that the ONE service person they have on call had 3 previously scheduled appointments during a Sunday and there was no one else who could come out and assist with our water heater issues. Definitely will not be using them if they can't even get a proper answering service to filter their calls.
Have the maint package. Had appt for plumbing. Was called and appt cancelled due to an emergency Rescheduled. Called in AM and told me to call back to confirm appt for tomorrow. Did so. Called back in late afternoon to cancel appt due to emergency Both times I set up my schedule to make the appt work. And they cancel. I told them I don't need the service. I schedule again and have to miss work time it cost more than the service. Better to pay someone who is reliable Beutler is not

We had a warranty plan on our HVAC when we purchased our house. Without fail they NEVER fixed the problem when we called. A technician would come out and diagnose the problem... but the NEVER had the very basic parts with them. They would have to schedule someone else - usually days later to come fix it. More than once that person also came without the part. This would go on for days.The last straw was the person who told me the warranty was ending in 2 weeks, and that we had a part about to go (miraculously he had the needed part.)... if it went the A/C would have to be completely replaced... but that since the part wasn't actually broken we would have to pay the $225. I found out later that we have over a year left on our warranty. I called and complained, but they never reversed the charge, or even gave us a discount.Also- once when it was 104 degrees outside, and the AC went out - they told us they were too busy to come out for warranty work because they were booked with other customers. We had to buy a swamp cooler because my son was having asthma issues and the heat was making it worse. They said they would buy it from us. I sent them the paperwork, and they never did. So it sits in our garage.I've also heard stories from neighbors who also had shady dealings with them. I would NEVER recommend this company. They are the WORST. We dealt with them several times over the 5 years of our warranty plan and I can only remember them being able to help us efficiently one time. That is shameful.

We have been using Beutler for the past fourteen years and have always been satisfied with their service. When our air conditioner wouldn't start, Ernesto responded and found the problem - a rat - which shorted out the entire unit. That problem was fixed with a new motherboard but he found that the unit was leaking and spent extra time finding and fixing the leak. I highly recommend using Ernesto as your serviceman. He is a very hard worker and will stay until your problems are solved.

Not the same level of professionalism that I experienced when you installed my air conditioner 30 years ago. I should’ve shopped around first.
These guys are hack job scammers. They came to fix my AC 4 times and still couldn't get the job done. The last time they showed up they told me they couldn't charge my system because R-22 refrigerant is illegal in the USA. Which is not true - I have owned a refrigeration company for many years and I know this is not the case. They told me they would need to replace my entire HVAC system or nothing else. I got someone else to come out and they fixed the problem immediately by charging the system with 1.5 lbs of refrigerant. Also, the last service appt I had was at 4pm on a day when it was 105F. They called at 4:15 and cancelled the call, stating that if I didn't buy an entire new system they wouldn't accept me as a customer. This was a rental house. The tenants moved out and I lost a ton of money. Terrible company and I should have known better.

Beutler sent Mr. Chris Burke as the technician for their company, Chris was so informative, gentle, clean, considerate, observing and explained things so I could understand, encouraged me to ask any question pertaining to the Heating/Cooling system. I felt welcome to inquire about the work he was doing, about the function of the system I have in my house. He made recommendations of how to continue to enjoy a good functioning heat and A/C in my house, he installed a Surge Protector to keep the electrical brain of the unit safe (we do have some power interruptions in Napa each year). Over all I'd say Chris was easy to deal with, with great communication skills and a fantastic work ethics. In the future, whenever I need a Heating/Cooling service in my house, I will ask the company to send Chris to do the work.

I had waited all day at home for this appointment and then a very rude woman called and said she had to cancel the appointment because escrow had not closed on the house yet. I told her when escrow does close, I would not be calling Beutler and she did not have a problem with that at all. So I will not be calling this company again.

The technician suggested paying up to $15k AND that services would not be provided until the next day. We got a different company right after and got it fixed immediately and cheaper. We do not recommend Beutler, especially on a hot summer day.

This is a reputable company. From the sales office to the installation team and then the follow up, they are professional and up front. No sales gimmicks.
My AC system is functioning but it has small water leaking along condensation drain line. I called Beutler air conditioning and plumbing, the technician from Beutler came and checked the system, he said he do not work on hydronic system, he do not know how to fix the problem, and suggested to replace the whole AC system.
We had Beutler replace our almost 20 year old HVAC system at our house. They came out to bid the job and were able to start the next day. We were pleased with their timeliness and overall value for the system. The technicians were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. System works great and the work they did was stellar.
We are awaiting our 5TH Beutler repair appointment in the course of 3 weeks! The technicians have no knowledge or experience. The only thing they have the knowledge to do is restart the system and wash out the inside. The last one who came 7 days ago (Julio) advised me that what needed to be done required a half day appointment and that I would be called to have that appointment set up. Nobody ever called so we began a 3 day aggressive attempt to get this so called half day appointment. We were told we would have to wait yet another week.The customer service is slow. Every appointment the technicians shows up late. One showed up 8 hours late and all he did was wash the system with a hose for 2 hours while collecting his overtime!Our system is under warranty and clearly they are trying everything in their power to not have to replace the unit. Rather they prefer to keep sending technicians that have no knowledge or experience in air conditioner repairs.Tomorrow is our half day appointment that we will have waited 8 days for. It is expected to be another 100 degree day today. We will suffer while waiting for this company to get their _ _ _ _ together.If I could give zero stars I would have!

My husband and I went to Home Depot for a new water heater and the saleslady asked us if we would like someone to come to our house and give us a free estimate. We said yes and the next morning, Brian came over, looked over the situation, gave us a quote, and said he could have some one over the same afternoon. We said OK and by 3:00 o'clock Randy showed up and started to work. He was very professional and personable. He explained things to us as he worked. He really knew about plumbing, did a great job and cleaned up very nicely when he left. We are very happy with the service we got from Beutler, from our first contact to the last.

On Sunday, I called and scheduled an appointment to have someone check out my AC unit. Appointment was booked for Monday 10 am - 2 pm. Got a call on Monday at 1 pm saying they overbooked and couldn’t make it until Thursday (3 days later). I understand that it’s busy, but I would have called elsewhere and got someone to come on Monday had I known they would cancel. I will never use Beutler AC & Plumbing and will tell everyone I know to avoid them if possible.

The technician who came out to do the work was honest and helpful. But the guy qho did my estimate put me off a bit. Either way, it turns out that my water heater was not the problem and that the roof is leaking. This seems like something that should have been noticed by them. I just paid $3500 for aomething that should have cost about $1500-$1800 because it was the week of a holiday and I believed I needed the work done. If my regular contractor had my regular contractor 3 Pyramid Construction had been involved, I suspect this would not have happened.

Great preventive maintenance! Bill helped install the unit so I was glad to see a familiar face while Wes Harriger was very polite and informative regarding the unit performance and the overall condition of the system!
Called to get an AC system check-up, information on my Beutler Smart Vent system, and have the AC compressor re-leveled. The technicians that came did the standard system check-up work, but were not prepared to re-level the compressor nor were they knowledgeable about the Beutler Smart Vent. There is no information on-line about the Beutler Smart Vent, so I had previously called Beutler and was promised that the operating instructions would be emailed to me – never received the smart vent operating information. The service techs were very pleasant and told me that their Sacramento area supervisor would contact the next day to schedule another visit to re-level the ac compressor and check the smart vent operation – never heard from Beutler on the follow-up.Having contacted Beutler multiple times to get information on the Beutler Smart Vent system, they have promised to send the information to me multiple times – have not received any information nor follow-up contact except a “how did we do?” request.

Mr. Sakhi came promptly, early actually after phoning to let me know, was clean, courteous and worked diligently to help me solve the problem of a thermostat that was no longer working. It was not an easy solve but he kept at it until it was resolved, double checking to see that both the upstairs and downstairs thermostats were working properly. He was patient with my questions and took extra time to show me how to work the thermostat and try to get things in order, as much as possible for a nontechnician, so that I feel confident that I am better able to deal with it. He was kind, attentive to my questions, and very, very helpful. He also helped me turn on our fake log fireplace (we hadn't used it in years) so that we could use it safely during the winter months. I remember that he had come four years ago and was the same, professional and courteous and helpful person as he was in this instance. I can't speak highly enough of him. I have been a Beutler customer for 13 years, since I bought my house. When my 13-year-old garbage disposal started leaking and needed to be replaced, I called them. They scheduled me an appointment right away. If you have a maintenance plan with Beutler, it waives the $99 fee for the technician to come to your house. Jared helped me today, and he was friendly, professional, and did quick and excellent work. He also inspected my water heater while he was here and gave me advice for replacing it and a leaky faucet. I would choose Jared to work on other projects as well and continue to be a happy Beutler customer.

Our upstairs air conditioning unit was installed by Beutler in 2015. When the unit FAILED this summer, it was still under warranty. I called Beutler THREE times to request that they fix the unit, but I NEVER got a call back. Since they didn't respond, the protection plan we'd signed up for was WORTHLESS. We called another HVAC company which responded promptly, diagnosed and fixed the problem. We paid $600. I will NOT use Beutler again.

They were very quick and efficient. Same day service after I met with the salesman and got quotes for the installation which is exactly what I was hoping for. They brought it all up to code as mine hadn’t been replaced in over 19 years and they were in an out.
We've been using Beutler for 16 years and we value their service. The rates are reasonable and the service is always proactive and reliable. We've had very few problems with our heating and a/c over the years (same unit) and the problems were easily fixed. We will keep using Beutler for years to come.

We recently had new countertops, sink and disposal installed. This required coordination between the plumbing and counter installers. Beutler was great at setting a schedule with us, even calling the day before to confirm. The plumber also called to give us a 30 minute arrival time. We had one plumber for the disconnect and one for the reconnect. Both were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Of course they promise you the world when trying to get you to buy a new unit. HORRIBLE company. Keep looking and hire someone else!

The Beutler Tech took advantage of my almost 80 year-old Senior Citizen mother, made up a false repair, and extorted money from her. The Beutler Tech continuously tried to upsell and pressure my mother to buy a new AC unit. After she indicated she just wanted the old unit fixed he indicated the unit needed the coils fixed and charged her an $89 service fee and $419 for a leak search. He then informed her that she would have to pay an additional $3000 to come back out to have the coils repaired. I told her to get a second estimate, so another technician came out the next day for a free estimate. The other technician indicated there was NOTHING wrong with the unit. The trouble was isolated to PG&E’s Smart AC unit. The “Smart AC had a piece of failed hardware that prevented the AC from coming on. Once the “Smart AC unit was removed the AC immediately started working. The technician also provided documentation corroborating his claim that there was no malfunction to the AC unit. My mother wrote a complaint letter asking for a refund of the service fee & leak search. She later spoke with a manager “Terry” at Beutler who dismissed my mother’s claims/complaints and denied her request for a refund. This is unacceptable! My mother lives in a Senior Community called Rio Vista, and the only reason she called Beutler was because they installed many of the units in this community. I will be advising the Rio Vista community of Beautler’s unethical practices as well as the BBB, so no other senior citizens are taken advantage of. I have contacted Beutler on my mother’s behalf, and have been promised a call back from a manager “Ray. I am still pending that call. I am willing to give Beutler one more opportunity to rectify this matter, as this fight is not over.

Beutler Technician, Aldrin C, was very competent, and extraordinarily thorough. He performed a winter maintenance on my heating system. Although there was nothing broken on the system, he optimized the system and explained thoroughly what he was doing. I would highly recommend his technical skills and public relations skills. We also chatted about future services and replacements to my older system and felt confident about his knowledge and not just trying to get me to buy something. When I need future service on my system, I would be very pleased if he were the service person doing the work.

I have met Roy for the first time yesterday when I had problems with my ac unit icing up. Roy was really concerned about our well being and explained all that was going on with this old unit I had. He instantly called the office and made arrangements to have a new unit installed today. I thought for sure that that was just a sales ploy. However, 7.00 am sharp this big truck pulled up with all the equipment and about half hour later the installing crew pulled up and worked all day to install this wonderful new system. Basically, the technician lied about the possibility of repair, hiking the repair quote so that we would go for a replacement. He said the manufacturer is out of business while it is not. Waster of visitation $$.
Showed up diligently for 5 days while we made the move from a/c under the house to a/c in the attic. HUGE and TIRESOME job, but the crew doing the work was phenomenal. They worked hard and long days, updated us throughout the process, and were still in good spirits during a heat wave!So happy to have chosen them for this big project. Happy customers in cool air! Unfortunately they are the original installers of our homes HVAC system and their z tech equipment is proprietary.Fidel the tech had a terrible attitude. Very condescending and agressive . Questioned and argued when I told him their proprietary smart vent system increased my power bill.His quote was outrageous. I had 2 quotes from other HVAC companies today and both were less than 1/4th Beutlers quote. Chris S. was the technician who serviced our heating system, that was not working properly - the heater wasn't kicking in as it is supposed to. Before even Chris came, I got a call 1hour ahead that the technician was coming at 12:30pm and he showed up at my door on time! After determining that the surface igniter had failed, Chris took the time to explain to me the pricing on the service and materials and which plan would better work for me. He also called his supervisor to get me more discounts for the service - that is unheard of in all the years I've been a homeowner; so I bought in on the 1 year maintenance plan for only an additional $4. So not only was my heating system fixed, but I also get 2 more inspection on my a/c, heating and plumbing with the extra $4 - which I think is an excellent investment for my home.Chris S. was very courteous and a customer oriented technician - he's a great asset for Beutler. He's the type who always thinks about the customers; be it on how he can save and provides tips to better take care of the heating and a/c systems. I used Beutler A/C & Plumbing to upgrade my A/C system in 2020. About two years after our installation, we started having a weird smell coming out of our vents so we called Beutler to come and inspect our HVAC system. The person who came out found some kind of foam tab that was left inside from the installation of our brand new Air Handler with mold growing on it so it was Beutler's fault that we hand mold growing inside our brand new unit. The Technician was only going to clean the mold and leave but I inquired what can be done to prevent the mold from coming back. He offered installing a U/V light for roughly $1,000 plus labor. After complaining that it was their fault that mold was growing, he reluctantly called his supervisor to get a small discount. I did not want mold growing back in my system so I unfortunately allowed them to install it which I completely regret afterwards because I should have called another company to install a U/V light system instead of giving his terrible company more of my money. Beutler did not care that they caused mold to grow on their newly installed system which is a health risk to my family. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH OF YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although the others had great personalities, Ian went over and above by calling us, personally assuring our appt times, and assuring parts delivery. The service call couldn't have been more prompt and professional; I got the 45-minute advance, so I could drive from work to open the house (no 4-hour wait). Hector was courteous, attentive, and explained everything he would do. He even wore special disposable coverings on his shoes when in the house, and thoroughly vacuumed up the debris from entering the attic. The inspection report was helpful for knowing the status of what works now and what might need repair in the future. Thank you Hector and Beutler.

The fan on the ac unit was frozen . The repairman knew exactly what the issue was he said for the unit it was a known issue . He repaired it in an hour and we now have cold air! Great guy too!

DO NOT USE THEM! Worst plumbing company that I have ever worked with. Scheduled and paid for someone to come out to fix a leak under my kitchen sink. It took 2 different plumbers to come out 3 times and over a month and still has not been fixed. Every time I talk to them and get something on schedule to fix the leak, they don’t come out. When I call them they are confused and don’t know what happened. The most mismanagement company I have ever seen. Called their corporate number and was put on hold. I waited for over 15 minutes and they never came back to me. I called again to be sent to their claims department but was met by the voicemail. It has been almost 3 month since I paid and scheduled them to fix my leak and it has still not been fix.
Ernesto was my service person, very polite and was the first personto check my air filter even after I told him that I already changed it, I was impressed.Keep going the extra yard Ernesto. His work was excellant.

I keep having a recurring problem year after year with my heatpump bought and inststalled by Beutler. When it is cold the motherboard goes out and when it was hot, the air-conditioner stops working.

Excellent service from the time I called for an appointment. We had an emergency and needed service immediately because of a medical condition someone has in our home. The other company (starts with a B) we used to have a contract with did not make an attempt to help us.Beutler assured me that they would get someone. They did.Tech arrived early Sunday morning and our air was on 30 mins later.Reasonable price. Wish I remembered his name because he was honest, didn't try to drive the price up and explained what needed to be done.
This was an excellent service call. Service rep Keith was very personable and professional. Explained all tasks he was going to complete and gave feedback on the results. He was scheduled for only A/C but as I missed Heating inspection he did that as well.

Our experience was great! Joe the adviser explained everything clearly. There were no surprises. The installers were fantastic, they really worked great as a team. No mess left behind. We felt a big difference in the heating immediately. Can't wait to see our first heating bill because we already know there will be a big difference. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for great service before and after the install is done.

The tech was amazing, but management/customer service is horrible! If I could give them zero stars I would. Completely unprofessional, they rescheduled my appointment many times. They were completely no shows for 2 days and finally sent someone on day 3 after calling 5+ times each day to see if someone would get sent out. They would tell me someone would definitely be coming and I would get a follow up call…nothing. Our A/C was completely out the whole time with indoor temperatures of 100+ degrees, with two toddlers and absolutely no sense of urgency. Mind you our system is not even 2years old. I get temperatures are rising and they have a lot of work, but at least have some decency and notify if no one is going to show to not be stuck at home with no A/C. Also, it’s not the first time we experience this type of service, back in May we had our system go out and it took 7 days and me contacting corporate for someone to come out. If we hadn’t gotten our system by them and had our warranty with them we would have been long gone a long time ago. We have not had any positive experience and definitely do not recommend to anyone..

Eric Adams representing and working for Beutler came out to my place, a single family home, with my too protective chihuahua nipping at his heels. He had had to turn around and come back after I did not respond to the notice he had arrived and I called them. He did not take out any frustration after a long day and my being the last appt of the day but simply went about assessing from inside and from outside and patiently answered my questions. I would have called Beutler back sooner and used my $88 special but I was seriously dealing with my 25 year old grandson, who lives here, who has frequently been very impatient. He went ahead and did the estimate for replacing all the old cast iron pipes under the house going through all the accesses. Because of him I give. Beutler 5 stars.

Hi, my name is Deborah Bettencourt. Ron was at my house today do maintenance check up on my air conditioner. My husbands grandmother had Ron many years ago, she just loved him, as we do also. He's very trusted and does a very thorough job . Ron is very organized with his tools and parts.He never complains and works hard.

I called 7/3 when the AC conked out and was placed on stand by for 7/4. I received a call on 7/4 stating they had overbooked and rescheduled for 7/15 for between 10 and 2. At 1251 h I receive a call from Mike stating that they were once again overbooked and the service call would need to be rescheduled because the appointment had been rescheduled by the call center in FL and there weren't any available techs. The service call is now rescheduled for 7/22. Buetler, you'd better get your act together. I went with you because you installed the original system when the house was built in '93 and the new HAVAC unit in 2017 when the original died. I realize it's busy right now because of the extreme heat, but your customer service has really tanked, and this is no way to treat a long time customer.

In their most recent visit, their representative, Ian S., inspected my furnace efficiently and professionally, answering questions completely.

This company is an out right joke. I called to schedule a Tune Up and I was quoted an appointment time about a month out. I waited and waited. Finally, day before my appointment they called and told me my appointment the next day would be moved back to later time in the day due to someone calling out sick. Ok, fine...Next day mid morning, they called and told me they would need to reschedule because another person called out sick. Ok fine, Im annoyed but I get it. So I wait for the next appointment. Day before the next appointment, they called and say, We need to reschedule you for October because we have other higher priority calls' Seriously now you want me to wait an additional 3 months. Don't waste your time waiting for a company that can't commit or even honor their commitment. They acted like this was no big deal and could care less about how they have treated me.

Isaac was here ahead of schedule. The outside temperature was around 100 degrees. He went right to work checking out our A/C unit. I can't imagine what the temperature in the attic was but it didn't prevent Isaac from doing an outstanding job with his evaluation. Then he completed his evaluation on the out side unit. When he was finished with his evaluation he went over all his findings and recommendations. He is a very dedicated employee and a great asset to Beutler. You made a wise choice in hiring him.

Ernesto helped us install a Nest Thermometer this past weekend. He did an excellent job, was very pleasant and competent. Good with explanations of things I needed to know. Great bedside manner, I would recommend him highly.
Nick showed up on time put on plastic shoe covers and checked out my system thoroughly. He explained what he did and said my filter and ducts were clean and said my system is in good working order because I keep the thermostat set for minimal operation to prevent surges in running versus minimal operation for steady temp control.
Randy was fantastic! Kind, courteous, professional and Honest!! Did a great job on fixing my leaking shower handle and replacing the cartridge.
Highly recommend!!!

Don't waste your money here!! The worst experience I've had in a long time, After spending 15k for a new system 2yrs later almost to the day I'm being asked to pay another 3k for their faulty work/products. One of the main reasons we chose this company was for stellar reputation. Clearly not every case.
My experience was great and Randy did a fantastic job. He was absolutely fun to work with and got everything working flawless. I would definitely recommend Beutler.
I searched for AC tuneup that I have never done in the past as I rarely turn in the system. Through Home Depot promotion, Beutler technician came and told me that battery juice is depleted that means the condenser is not good. The system is over 30 years old and I thought it’s time to replace it. The second personnel came to explain how much cost in 2023. I had vague idea so the estimated cost didn’t shock me. He grabbed Home Depot promotion and senior discount saving me about $2,000. The installation crews were professional and worked hard even skipping lunch to complete the AC unit installation. I highly recommend Beutler.

Prior to calling Beutler, I used a local company and was given a dire diagnosis - a total replacement that will cost over $8K. I called Beutler and Roy (service technician) was extremely professional and completely knowledgeable!!! He had to undo - by rewiring - the work that was previously done. And - needless to say - I ended up getting charge for a LOT LESS! I highly recommend this company - if you are in need of a service repair in the Antioch area!

The annual fall inspection of my heating system was efficient and thorough. The Beutler service reprehensive was efficient, explained clearly the results of his inspection and updated to me the condition of my furnace.This review is for Chris Aguierre who came by yesterday because we were having trouble getting the filter out at change time. Turns out the filters Beutler left with us when they installed the furnace/air conditioner are not designed to work with my system, they have cardboard strips all across the front and back of the filter. Chris explained where I could purchase new solid rim filters that will solve this problem and I picked them up today. Chris is very professional, I will want him back for future service.

Delayed in arrival due to travel from a long distance. He was able to repair the heater without any difficulties. He was surprised at how dirty the water was in safety pan under the unit. This is a new unit installed last November. The installation crew apparently didn’t check condensation drain piping and that was the cause of the overflow safety switch to shut it down.

I was scheduled for service for my AC at 10-2pm on Monday. They called to reschedule at 11:45 pm. They booked me for Wednesday at 10-2pm again. I patiently waited all day until 9pm, suffering in the heat. I got no text or call to tell me that the technician will be late. I called multiple times-there was no assurance that he will be coming. Finally, he show up at 9:15 pm. The technician came and checked the system for a little bit, but since it was already late he couldn’t do the work. Now my family and I have to wait and suffer again with the heat for another day. We are still waiting for our appointment for the service. This was such a bad experience. I just want my AC fixed.
Wednesday I received a proactive call from Beutler stating that it was time for our 6 month tune up. We scheduled it for the next morning between 8-10. Ian showed up around 9.He informed us of several issues basically stating that we needed a new unit because it would cost us more to fix the issues that he had found.Before our tune up, our AC was working fine. By 3pm yesterday it was over 80 degrees in our home. Needless to say we felt as though Ian did something to lead our AC to go out.I called Beutler asking for someone to come out to fix their error last night. They couldn’t get anyone until today.You may be wondering why I gave them even a 3. Ian deserves a 1. He wasn’t a tech, he was a salesperson. However, today Andrew showed up. Informed us that in fact the tech had put wires back together incorrectly leading to the motor to not fire correctly. He said there was a leak we would need to have fixed, but did not see other issues indicating we needed to spend thousands of dollars to replace the unit right away.So I give this a 3 for an average rating. I guess it really depends on the tech you get. If I knew we’d always get Andrew, I’d continue using Beutler, but with the risk of having another Ian and spending another hot night with my kiddo; we likely won’t be using Beutler again.My husband says Andrew needs promoted and a raise and Ian needs fires.Ethics always wins Beutler. Make sure you keep hiring more Andrews.

They sent out sales people to address in North Natomas To a senior citizen community to do just a heat and air conditioner service instead the sales person taught a senior citizen that has dementia and didn’t get permission from the family members to install a new unit they lied about getting permission had her sign a piece of paper when she thought she was signing for just having it serviced they passed on this account to a collector to collect $16,000 since I took advantage of a woman with dementia and was told by a neighbor to ask for permission from the Family that’s taking care of her has guardianship we will not be paying the $16,000 .
Robert S. Serviced our Air Conditioner, he did a Great Job, found a few issue we had with it and promptly corrected them. Great Technician, he explained everything to us, we specifically request him as he as always proven to be a profession, polite, patient, as well as does a great job. In our opinion Robert Shaw is one of Beutler's Super Stars.
Highly recommend. I bought a professional installation from Home Depot along with the disposal. The process was easy to schedule and availability was good. The company confirmed the appointment a day before and i got and email and text the morning of the install. Their technician, Horacio, was professional, efficient and left no mess behind.
I had them come out to check out my a/c. After checking things out he said I have a block in my system. They wanted 500 to clean my coil and if that didn’t work it was going to be 2500 to take everything apart and clean it. If that didn’t work I would need a new system for around 10,000. I paid them the 89 for coming out. I decided to call another company to get a second opinion. The other company came out and cleaned my coils checked the whole system out . Everything works fantastic and they on charged me 135!!! I will be sending all of my Friends and family to my new a/c guys!! They were fantastic!! Get a second opinion before you get ripped off!!

My A/C went out and I called for service on a Saturday. The person I spoke to was very professional and friendly. I was able to schedule service for the same day, without any added fees. The technician ended up being earlier than the scheduled window. The problem was a simple fix and the tech included it in the price of the service call. Everything was better than expected and I was very happy with the service. I'm sure not everyone will have as good an experience as I had, but I have definitely found a new HVAC company as my first recommendation.

The Beutler HVAC and Plumbing team are great. I have an older mobile home and was quite worried about investing in a a new HVAC system. The system. was 21 yrs old. Fidel assured me its a wise investment in the long run. My water heater was 30 yrs old and rusting out-that was a no brainer. The guys came out the next day. My old H/C unit was barely blowing any air. When Pedro and Dwayne got finished :: Ive got a tornado blowing Hot and Cold air. It is Awsome.!!. I must not forget Horatio the master plumber. He came on the scene in the afternoon and worked until past dinner to make sure I had water running before morning.He fixed a shower faucet so I could get Hot water. Yeah!!.The guys are all skilled, professional, know Cali codes, and easy to communicate with. I had no prior knowledge of the company and I dont know anything about HVAC,s. I am very pleased. We had our furnace and A/C replaced by Beutler. The comfort advisor, Ron Eggers, convinced us to finance for an A/C unit the apparently is too large for our residence (three separate county inspectors raised their eyebrows at the size of the unit and commented that it seemed a bit overboard for our 1280-foot house). While the unit has been working well, we have seen no significant cost savings. In addition to that, it took the Beutler team over 180 days to satisfactorily complete the install to pass county code. Three separate county inspectors had to review the work, and each time they held off signing due to faulty line set insulation. The notes and instructions left behind by the county inspectors were ignored until the penultimate inspector warned that another inspection would cost Beutler additional money and fines.I was told, since we had so many install issues, that the install manager would reach out to us to discuss the complications we were having. We never heard from him/her. In fact, each time I was told someone would return my call, no one did. I even ran into a Beutler rep at Home Depot - and when the rep kindly called Beutler's main office to inquire on the line set insulation issue, they were told that someone from the office would contact me within the week to discuss the problem. Yet no one did.It's not necessarily the work itself, it's the lack of communication. It's how they ignored our questions and concerns until they were about to be fined by the county. It's about how they never sent a copy of the permit extension to us when it was extended. It's about how we received old and irrelevant notices in the mail that claimed our permit was set to expire in May (and the notices had July/August postmarks). It's about how their installation team failed to call the county inspectors for clarification when the same code failure occurred again and again.So. Does the A/C and furnace work? Yes. Is it saving us energy/money? No. Was it worth the 6+ months of hassle? Definitely not. Guess we're stuck with it now.
The guys were very good. But they dinge my door frame and i néed to spot paint. Also it would be nice to wash your rug runners.

No high pressure sales tactics as other company did. Gave clear explanation of all factors of new system and installation. Professional, timely and thorough installation. Demonstrated new features. Sealed all registers against leaks.Provided above and beyond warranties. Guaranteed all features of new system and labor including any after installation hiccups. Left site clean of all packaging materials and recycled them along with old system components. I am very pleased.

7/16/23, Today:I will say, that I had a plumbing disaster yesterday and Vladimir went above and beyond to get everything fixed and done for me today. He was here all day working hard and seemed to actually care about the project. 5 stars for Vladimir, 1 star for everybody else!!A month ago:I have had consistent issues with this company from the start. Not only did my new HVAC system have issues at install and take them a year to get it right from their mistakes, but now as a continued customer I try to schedule tune ups to have a no show with no communication after waiting 4 hours. Somebody was supposed to here this morning between 8 and 9 for the inconvenience from yesterday and they tried to say I was scheduled between 8 to 12 when the person yesterday assured me 8 to 9 to priortize me due to the inconveinuence yesterday. Almost everyone in this company acts unprofessional, doesnt communicate, and the people at the office never seem to know anything nor be helpful.

These guys were terrible. They wanted to charge me 700.00 to put new bolts and a wax ring on our tolet. Plus the service fee. I just paid the fee and called some one else. The other company said 285.00 plus a 56.00 service fee.

After many false starts on our new HVAC which they installed, Beutler has a new operations manager named Jeff Klith. He knows what he’s doing. He came out to make his own evaluation. Together with two other managers— David Rosenzweig, and Greg Spears, and a tech named Salim, the problems were finally resolved. I think these guys understand that the real purpose of a business is to get and keep customers and to keep doing both —getting and keeping customers. Good on them. I hope senior management understands how to keep these good men employed and happy in their work. As a customer, I’ll drink to that and one for Beutler.
Jacob, the installer, was extremely qualified and professional. I would highly recommend him for any further installations.
Scheduled a tune up. They never showed up. No call or anything. The rep outside of home depot seemed very confident in their abilities.
Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing. Roy S. was very professional, answered all our question, gave us time to make up our minds. Beutler had wonderful warranties, scheduled the inspectors to come check their work and made sure permits were all included. Instillation was quick, installers were kind and professional. We were very impressed and would recommend Beutler to everyone we know. Great company!

High marks for professionalism, courtesy and knowledge of the system. He took the time to explain, in basic terms, the system and answered all of my questions. Found some minor maintenance items, that once tweaked; brought the system back to normal working order. On time arrival, outstanding service and a stellar representative of your company.

So I called them and set up an appointment for June 1st I get a call today saying they need to reschedule me due to emergency calls. Even I had been booked for over a month and flaked on before that. Don't waste your time on these guys. They suck

Chris is a consummate professional. He is extremely knowledgeable, skillfully diagnosed the problem, explained the needed repairs and the cost of the repairs. He took time to explain how the system operates and showed me the defective parts that needed to be replaced for the system to operate efficiently. He was courteous, respecting personal property, diligent and very efficient. He invested time to make sure the job was done right the first time. There is a strong paint thinner-ish odor when the cooling system comes on - so strong, i have to open windows - the technician could not smell it! But, for another $1600, a filter to clean out VOCs can be installed! This system was installed in November last year. The cooling system has only been used 4 or 5 times! Called an asked for a manager to come out!

I don't know how they stay in business and absolutely no idea how they are a Lowe's contractor.
On August 28th a technician came out to our house to repair the condensation pump and darin. He told us we needed the pump replaced and that it is still under warranty. I called yesterday 9/9/2019 to follow up on that service work order and have been unable to get a starigt answere. Every time I call answering service answers the phone and take my information and tells a technician will call me back. I called again today and received the same information I received yesterday and still haven' gotten a call back. Eva
Chris A. did a terrific job servicing and fixing a problem with my Aqua chill air conditioning unit. Its a complicated system that uses water to cool the coils. He thoroughly checked the system and proper maintenance schedule for summer and found a broken part that was covered under warrantee. He could have stopped and left but recommended he charge the system fully for best results with hot weather coming. He was very knowledgeable of my two zone system which I have had for some time so I took his advice and feel very confident my system is in great shape for the summer. I recommend getting a service plan for maintenance beyond anything you might have under warrantee as you get discounts on parts that arent covered and priority service when a technician is needed. In my experience advance maintenance plans are cheaper as you pay a little now and save a bundle when repairs are needed. Beutler is a good company and has been around a long for these kinds of reasons.
My husband and I were very satisfied with Aldin C. His attitude and proficiency were very good. We felt he was very knowledgable and felt our system was very well taken care of. Any questions we had he answered and made us happy that we chose Beutler to service our A/C and heater system.

Beutler was awesome! They made a same day appointment for an estimate to replace my water heater. They called me and Horacio came out earlier than scheduled. He was very informative and helpful about the estimate and what I needed to have done. I bought the water heater that day and made an appointment for Horacio to install it the next day. He again arrived on time and had the install done within a few hours. He did exceptional work and and I would recommend Beutler to anyone that needs plumbing work!

This review is being posted on behalf of my elderly parents.Beutler told them an arrival time between 10am and 2pm yesterday to fix the air handler in the attic on their AC system. The service tech did not arrive during the scheduled time, and my mom had to call the office. They were told that the tech was running behind but would be there soon. Still nothing at 6pm, when my mom called again, and were told that they had no information because the service manager had gone home, and would call my parents early in the morning. At 9:45pm, after they had fallen asleep, the tech knocked on my parents door. He was turned away because it was so late. No calls or texts at any point to let them know he was on the way.This entire situation lacked communication, was extremely unprofessional, and generally unsafe. I know that HVAC companies become impacted when the weather gets warm, but if you can hold off, choose a more reliable, professional company.

I've had a semi-tamed feral cat for the last several years who likes hisindependence. I cleaned my gas furnace filter several days ago, and leftthe furnace front open while I was cleaning the filter in the alley. I put thefilter back in,and the heater worked fine, until a day or so later. The fanworked, but there was no heat. I called Beutler and made an appointmentfor the next afternoon (today). Checking the downstairs heater roomearlier today, I heard a meow. I checked the crawl space (from Hell), nocat. Went back into the heater room and opened up the furnace, findinga dust and hungry, but alive Herr Mietz. Some of the safety wires werebroken by Mietz, but Andrew fixed all of that easily. I could not be morepleased and happy. Beutler is super good.

Shady business practices!! Charged us for repairs AFTER THEY SOLD US AN INCOMPATIBLE AC/FURNACE!!! Does not keep their word on call backs to resolve issues.We were sold an incompatible furnace and ac unit that has broken down every summer since installation. I have been speaking with Greg and Anthony and they have both not kept their word. When I speak with Beutler, I get we will call you back, blah blah blah. I have yet to speak with anyone who can resolve our issue.I spoke with the manufacturer of our unit, Rheem, and they advised me this is a contractor issue and the units should not have been sold together. From installation, each tech has advised us there is a communication issue between the two units. After speaking with Rheem this makes so much sense now.We have spent thousands of dollars on an incompatible unit and countless repairs. Beutler will give you the run around for a problem THEY CAUSED!!!
I just purchased a condo. That water heater was 40 years old!! First on the to-do list was to get a new one. Home Depot asked Beutler Plumbing to contact me. They replied promptly. Scheduled a service appointment, then scheduled to get a new one installed. All contacts with Beutler were professional and on time. They took care of everything. Jared the service tech was always polite and smiling. He was very patient with me. I recommend them for your plumbing needs.
I have been trying to get a technician out to my residents coming up on 24 hours now. I was scheduled to have someone out between 12 and 4 PM yesterday to look into why my air conditioner is not cooling. I ended up calling them multiple times just to see what the status was and when to expect the tech. I was informed that I was still on the book for someone to come out and that dispatch would be in contact with me. I explained that I have a 70+ year old senior living with me and that I am concerned that the heat might be affecting the health negatively.Eventually at 8 PM after I called in again, the representative informed me that I would have to reschedule to tomorrow morning between 8 and 12 noon and promised me that I would be at the top of the list for having a technician since I was a reschedule due to them no call no showing.This morning I woke up and called them again at 8:08 AM to make sure everything was setup with my appointment. They confirmed that everything was good and I should receive a call from between 8 and 12 noon confirming the tech is on the way. I ended up calling again at 11:25 AM asking for an update, I informed them again that I have a senior living with me and we need to get the AC working. They stated that they were not able to get dispatch on the phone but was able to contact them through their in house chat system. They confirmed again that I was on the schedule and that dispatch would be in contact with me...At this point I am too far in to cancel the appointment and reschedule with someone else (they are booked out a few days)... Please Beutler come out today and look at my air conditioner... I have a feeling its going to be a fairly simple fix, low coolant or something simple...Will update if I hear back from dispatch or a tech shows up...

David came to figure out why I had no air conditioning. He came in 107 degree temps and had to work in my attic which had to be about 120 degrees. He figured out what the problem was within about 40 mins and fixed the problem. Chris Was the young man who came out and serviced our air and heating unit, he was very knowledgable, friendly and polite. My husband and I apprecieted that Chris took the time to explain everything to us.
Our system incorporates a smartvent. Not all HVAC technicians are knowledgeable in smartvents. We have a prepaid contract and Beutler services it twice a year. The guy who came 2 wks ago didn't and did several things wrong and didn't have any aur during this god awful heat. After 2 cancelations finally got someone who knew what he was doing and it seems to be working once again. I would give this guy a 9 but the last guy a 3.

Actually, I'd give no stars if I could. Service was terrible. I was never contacted by repairman, who indicated he couldn't reach me (even though he never even tried). I was sitting by the phone waiting for report. I spoke to customer service manager who assured me the repairman would call me to discuss the findings the next day. Again, no call. I will be disputing any charges assessed as this was a complete waste of time. I will never use this company that prides itself on customer service again. What a joke!

Service is okay. I know how busy it could get; however, scheduling is ridiculous. I have 12pm to 4pm window but technician came 820pm without an update. I called 6 times but they just said will make a follow up on the ETA but no return call. I wasn’t able to go to work because of this and very much wanted my unit get fixed. I have nothing bad to say about Marcus just how appointments are not followed or even a heads up to the clients is good enough.

Had Beutler air conditioning for yrs of service and have been happy with their service and products offered. The service guys are great, helpful and personable. I really appreciate the text reminders of their arrival. Their all hard working to make ones life comfortable and we will be with our new air conditioner and furnace.
We reached out to Beutler to get a quote for our HVAC system that had just died. They came the same day to give us a quote - super quick response! Brian was very professional and answered all of my detailed questions. He explained everything in a manner that was understandable. When we called a day after getting our quote to schedule the installation, they were able to come the next morning between 8-10am. The crew arrived about 8:30am that morning. They were super friendly and respectful. They took out our old HVAC system, hauled it away (yay!) and installed the new system by the afternoon. I gave them 5 stars because their service and quality of work is wonderful! I recommend calling Beutler first when you have an issue with your HVAC system.

Not the tech's fault, but their dispatch team dropped the ball. I originally set one appointment, and then needed to set another as an emergency appointment for a different location. They didn't even show up to the first appointment. On top of that the woman on the phone when I was making the first appointment sounded like she didn't understand what I was asking for :(

This second review is not as good as the first.Install done last Thursday. Friday turned on cooling for 1st time and went to bed. Woke up to 85 temp indoors. Was not cooling and off switch not responding. Called customer service Saturday morning and was placed on high priority.No call back till Sunday afternoon.Scheduled service for Monday between 8 - 12:00. No one showed up.This is second time no one showed up. Received message tech was on the way at 1:00. Did show up at 2:30.Spent 5 hrs trying to fix, changed thermostat but apparently not the right one. Tech said needs to come back but gave no schedule. So system is still not working correctly.

Chris was very good to work with. Unfortunately the appointment was from 11-1 pm and he didn't show until 2:43. When I called the office (twice) they first told me he would be one hour late then at 2 pm told me he would be there in 25 minutes more, not 45 minutes.
I told the company I would be unavailable between 8:30am and 9am. Pulled into my driveway at 8:56am and as I was walking up the steps, the driver pulled away. Guess they have too much business and don’t need the money….5/31/23 update. They took $189 dollars of my money, replaced a part that wasn’t broken and then stopped returning my calls. This business is a grift. Reporting to the BBB next. Straight up theives.
Absolute worst experience I have ever had in my entire life having this tech come to my home, disrespect my family act totally cray and told me my old furnace was gonna cost $4500 to fix. I called a local company in town. They fix it the same day for $285. This place is a real joke and be careful who they send you.

I’ve had both a good and not so good experience with Beulter.The bad: I had a date for the install on Monday. I was told the install techs would be at my house by 9. At 9:30 I called to find out what the ETA would be and they said my install had been cancelled for the day. It was very frustrating that no one bothered to call me to let me know as I had rearranged part of my work day for this.The install was done the next day, and things seemed to be good. Less than 24 hours later, the whole unit stopped working. Come to find out after another day of no air the techs didn’t tighten down one of the wires in the HVAC and it came lose and stopped the system from running.The last issues stems from the unit that was installed. I had agreed to get a Rheem system as it was the most cost effective for me. I was told the next day that they didn’t have one in stock so I would be upgraded to a Lennox system for the same price. In the end the Rheem system was installed but once again without anyone letting me know there was a change back (while this issue upset me, it wasn’t the worst thing since this was the initial system I was ok with getting).Now the positives. Brian was great! He came to my house and was very professional. He helped me pick the best system and finance plan for me. He kept me informed of everything that’s was supposed to happen with the install.Elliot saved my day when my system went down. He made sure everything was set up properly from my thermostat to the hvac unit. Once he figured out the issue he explained to me what happened and showed me how he fixed it. He was great.I ended up reading reviews while I was waiting for a tech to come and look at my not working unit and eventually saw the name/number for the GM and reached out to him. He was great. He listens to me and my frustrations and made sure to come up with a plan to make things better. I appreciate his willingness to work with me and help me out.In the end I’d recommend Beulter to others. Minus the hiccups, they were a great company to work with and helped me get my house up and cooling down on these hot summer days.
Last minute cancellation from them because their employee got sick and they can't accommodate next day service because they are busy. They were offering after 2 weeks. This is straight up worst service.

We had a great experience with our Technicians Paul and Slavic. They were clean, professional, and polite. I was worried about how my day would be affected by the install as we have a 9 year old doing self-study at home and it could be a challenge keeping her focused, however, our technicians were extremely quiet and very professional. Today I spoke with Gregg (QA Manager) and Nate (Super Tech and Smart Guy) from the New Beutler and they were fantastic! The gave me the help I needed to ID my product and they did it in a very timely and efficient manner.
The young man Ali O was very good, measured the insulation in the attic, took photos to show us, told us at this time we did not need more insulation. Checked our furnace , changed the filter for us. He was very pleasant, well dressed and a pleasure to deal with.

Inconsiderate and just down-right rude: I’ve used Beutler’s annual service maintenance plan for about 5 years now. Every single year some lady named Patty calls to renew my plan over the phone and tries to charge me more than twice the negotiated price. I have to send them a copy of my contact and go through this waste of time and frustration every year! Yes, she called again last week and I asked her to pull the file again for details and call me back so I can renew my plan. She, nor anyone at Beutler, has called back to collect the correct payment.Today Beutler was suppose to service my AC between 11AM and 1 PM; a reasonable two hour window. Sharon at Beutler told me the technician would call when he was 30 minutes out. At 1 PM I called Sharon because I’d not received a call. She told me, without apology, that the technician had to go to an emergency (“more profitable”) call. She couldn’t even agree that Beutler should have at least given me a courtesy call. All Sharon could tell me was that the technician would call me when he’s done with the “emergency.” I wouldn’t be giving this terrible review had the EXACT same thing not happened in the past with Beutler. Now I’ve requested that a manager (Ray) at Beutler give me a call. I highly doubt that he will because that’s been my experience with Beutler.NOW IT'S BEEN 5 FULL DAYS SINCE THAT BOTCHED MAINTENANCE CALL - Still, no manager from Beutler has called. Worse, the condenser that was working fine before the tech showed up is now not putting out cold air. I think he drained the refrigerant. Glad I took a video and photos of the whole mess!Oh regarding your response. You're just playing to the crowd. I got a read receipt when I emailed my complaint and request for a call over a week ago. Annual heating maintenance service performed by John D. As expected, did a thorough and professional job, conducted in a timely manner but with no rush. Also replaced customer-provided furnace filter. Explained service and assured furnace in proper working order; did recommend the installation of a surge protector to protect the HVAC electronics. Use of tarp and shoe-booties inside the house is also much appreciated.
Chris quickly found issue and fixed it. He explained the issue and recommended optional services clearly and was very professional. I definitely will go with him for my future services.

We scheduled an appointment for 9/3/22.They didn't show.We rescheduled an appointment for 9/10/22.They didn't show.This is probably the kind of service that you can expect from this company.If you go with them, good luck.If you read the company's responses to the one star reviews you will see a pattern of saying that they strive to improve their service.I'd venture to say that actions speak louder than words.
Friendly plumber, but company prices are an outrage. I called Beutler for an estimate to replace shower valves and tub/shower trim kits in two bathrooms. The fee for them just to come to my home was $79. The estimate given to do the project was extreme, nearly two thousand, and this was assuming I'm additionally buying my own valves and trim kits. The estimated time to complete the project was about 4 hours, you do the math. I just wish they could have informed me of the excessive pricing over the phone, It would have saved me money and time. Calling a different plumber and will update review.

Fidel Valdez of Beutler Air Conditioning and Plumbing was very methodical, answered all questions, and explained a number of issues to me. Overall, Mr. Valdez is an excellent communicator and totally professional.
A few months ago Beutler installed an entire new AC and Heating system. They followed up with an inspection and made sure we were happy with the unit and installation.As the weather got colder we called to have the system looked at again and they sent a great service tech, Freddy, to come out and make some further adjustment to improve the heating. At no extra charge. Freddy was very kind, considerate, and professional. The other techs and installers were as well, of course.Thank you Beutler!

After spending nearly one and half hour onsite, the technician was not able to figure out what is the root cause why the air conditioner is not blowing cool air. Finally he told me the low voltage wires at condenser need to be replaced which will cost $2800, plus bad capacitor replacement for $349. I called another AC company they fixed the problem in half hour with cost of less than $300.

Ernesto came out & diagnosed the problem quickly. He got the part replaced very quickly & got cool air coming into my 83 yr. old mother's house. Unfortunately she has other issues w/her system that will need to be addressed & we will have to deal w/later. Ernest was very professional, patient & informative. This company performed unauthorized work to my home with my consent. They did not check with the homeowner and now that this has been brought to my attention I've reached out several times for further information in regards to this matter with nothing but run around information. Charlotte who I was connected with via live chat ended the chat after sending me a link to put in a service request which os not what I need. I do not need service I need answers and my home returned to its original state prior to the work that I did not give permission to be performed on my home.

I was using this company through Home Depot. I’ve had an appointment with them for 3 months. They were to unhook my plumbing in order for my countertops to be installed. The day of my appointment the times for the plumber to arrive kept shifting. I waited 6 hours for a plumber to arrive. Gave up on them showing at 9:30 PM. No one called me. I’ve left several messages with no return call. I’ve already paid Home Depot for a service that was not performed. Big giant thumbs down to this company!!

Never call them for service the worst company I have experienced. The 1st weekend of July my AC went out I called them CS told me if I sign up for their monthly service I would be a priority and a technician will come out tonight. I waited for them and nothing no calls. I called them the next morning CS said a technician will call me when he is on the way. Later that day CS called & told me my next available technician will be there next week. I cancel my services with them but they wouldn't cancel the monthly payment. CS told me that the Accounting Department has to cancel me, but the accounting department never call me back it's been 2 weeks, so I called them and they told me that they'll call me back. DON'T USE THERE SERVICE!!! They do a bait & switch tactics on customer who desperately need help

Alex was fabulous! He was here within an hour after I placed the service call. That’s the fastest anyone ever has gotten here to my house. He immediately diagnosed the problem, and had the part available in order to effect the solution. He explained thoroughly everything that was happening, and why he picked the solution he did. He signed me up for an annual service plan while he was here. If you ever have any trouble with your AC unit, you should call Beutler and ask for Alex.
We waited, but they didn't show up or even call on date of agreed install. Horrible customer service! We cancelled the order and will use reliable locals, even if a little higher priced.
Chris S. was the technician who performed our service. He was professional, had excellent communication skills and very experienced in performing his duties. He explained everything that he found and suggested ways to alleviate or remediate any problems. He respected my knowledge and did not make me feel uncomfortable contributing questions. He did not push unwanted services and he even respected my desire to do parts of the service for which I have the technical expertise. What really surprised me was when he said to me, I am sure that you will not have any problems when you perform that service. However, if when your doing it you have any question, feel free to call and we will assist you with free advice. Through the years, of all of the service techs from Beutler that have provided services for my air conditioner and furnace, I was most impress with Chris A. He was very professional and through with the work he performed. He provided a detailed report afterwards and made helpful suggestions to maintain optimal performance for my furnace unit. Pedro Razo was one of four installers that removed two old HVAC systems and installed two new complete HVAC systems. When he began to install one of the condensers he detected a problem with it and told his lead installer who then got another brand new condenser delivered in a couple of hours. Pedro worked beyond a normal work day to get both systems installed and completely tested before leaving that day. I really appreciated them staying and completing the job in one day. Pedro was very helpful and polite and I am very happy to have had him installing the units. Thank you very much. 9/21/16
Farid is a very knowledgeable HVAC technician. He was polite and courteous during his visit for my HVAC maintenance inspection. He did an excellent job informing me of all the things needed to maintain an excellent working HVAC. Farid was thorough and did an excellent job. I will ask for him by name for my next visit. I highly recommend him.
Salesman Brian Lawrence did not pay attention to our needs. He used the same old excuse for not getting his bid to us in a timely manner with the must have your email wrong. His bid was prepared sparingly with large excessive prices with little details. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Their prices are $ 4,000.00 to $5,000.00 higher than our middle bids received. I feel sorry for any other homeowners they may have already taken advantage of and price gouged.

My experience in the past with this company, was negative until Ernesto walked into my home. His warm and caring attitude towards my heating problems was genuine. Knowing my confidence level was low with this company, he reeled me in quickly with his honest, quick repair service, all at a reasonable cost. In addition, he discussed my options and warranty services available. No pressure to join, like in the past. I have to admit, I was truly snake bit prior with this company, but Ernesto regained my confidence, because of his knowledge, trustworthiness, and experience. When Ernesto came back downstairs, I was waiting for the results of his consultation, when in fact he had completed all the problems, such as loose wires, dirty flame sensors, and had checked all components so that my heating system was back in service. Been using Beutler since moving into our home 20 years ago, and even had them replace our HVAC system a few years ago. After our experience this year, will not be using them anymore.Tried to make an appt back in July for AC tune up, but they couldn't get me in until early October When the date came around, nobody showed up. I called asking where the technician is, and they said that I wasn't on their calendar!! They said did I receive a confirmation call the day before, and I said no. So then I tried to setup another appt, which wasn't until late October. I asked if I could receive some kind of email confirmation as proof this time, and they said they don't provide that.Anyway, it's now late October, and the day before the appt, I did not receive a confirmation call ... so I call them to confirm! They said since I'm first up on the calendar that I won't receive a confirmation call ... what?? Anyway, day of appt, and after waiting several hours after the set appt time, I call asking where the technician is. They said they are short on staff and they need to reschedule to 12pm. 1pm rolls around and I call back asking where the technician is, and they said he's on the way. It will be 30 mins. 1 hour later, I call back and just cancelled. I'm tired of being jerked around.All I wanted was an AC tune up several months ago. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Scheduled an appointment for afternoon on May 26th. They called that morning needing to reschedule for the following week June 2nd. They called to confirm the afternoon appointment at 10:30 AM on the 2nd. Then arrived at 6:30 in the evening to a business that closes at 5:00PM. Then sent an estimate claiming the customer declined service. I’m literally, as a customer service proponent, shocked at this lack of customer care.

I am disappointed. I was lied too and feed some scare tactics. I paid $89 for tune up and then told there were major issues with our furnace . I was even shown picture of a major oil leak. I of course didn't go up in the attic to look. But my husband did when he came home from work. No visible oil leak on the plywood like the photo the technician showed me. We just had a second opinion done. The second opinion said there were no oil leaks at all nothing on the plywood or unit to indicate an oil leak.And the rust the 1st one said there was on the unit 2nd one said there is no rust or cracks.As for the tune up it was done.But being told things that were not true and then being told my whole unit needs to be replaced. 2nd technician said the unit is in working condition and no need to replace it.
Fidel did an excellent job walking me through the diagnostics and provided me with several options to repair my A/C and furnace. I requested a second opinion from a second company and they came to the same conclusions that Fidel did. Hopefully the crew performing the actual labor does as good of a job as Fidel did.
I called on a Saturday morning to schedule a/c repair. I was promised a call back to schedule the appointment. Nobody called, so I called back on Monday and rescheduled for Tuesday morning between 8 and 12. Nobody showed up or even called. When they finally called back, they were rude and tried to insinuate I had never had an appointment. When she finally found it, she tried to blame me for the fact that their CSR spelled both my name and address incorrectly. Next, they said they were blowing off the appointment in favor of customers whose systems they installed, despite the fact none of the seven or eight people I spoke to EVER asked about that. Super rude and unprofessional. I told them that my husband is a veteran who has health issues and needs the AC working but they don't care. Don't bother with these unprofessionals.

Utilized this company through Home Depot. The disconnection of garbage disposal, kitchen sink faucet, gas stove went well with a plumber who was knowledgeable. The trouble was with a different plumber sent to reconnect the devices listed above. The office gal said that the plumber would carry air gaps, pvc, etc in his truck. When this plumber arrived, he rolled his eyes when I repeated what the lady had told me. He said, quite derisively, that he carried none of that.on his truck so it would cost $500 to get the materials from HD. He was argumentative and unprofessional. As we were discussing this, he went outside (I thought to his truck). He just left. He did not even install the disposal or reconnect the gas stove. Will never use or recommend this company. So disappointing.
My wife just received a cold call from them today trying to sell or schedule an estimate regarding HVAC service. She listened to the call and politely told the salesman that she’d talk it over with me(her husband) first since I was taking a nap and the salesman said “you need to talk to your husband to do this?” and she said yes when it involves someone coming into our home. First off that was really condescending and two, unprofessional. Never used this company before and with that experience never will. My parents use Buetler, now they won’t and we will tell everyone we know. Train and monitor your sales people on the phones making cold calls. Terrible...

I’m a bit frustrated with my recent interactions with Buetler. The initial installation of my HVAC system was completed a little over three years ago by Buetler. I was happy and content with the installation and the service that I received at that time from Buetler. I was especially pleased with the Warranty‘s that I was given specifically 10 years on any parts or two years on labor. Now this is my third season, using the HVAC air conditioning system. I noticed that it was not cooling, so I called Beutler attempting to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, I had to call back at least three more times because the initial appointment was made incorrectly and for the wrong day but eventually I did get the appointment and the technician did arrive within the four hour period between 10 and 2. After the technician finished his assessment. I was informed that the fan motor for the outside condenser units needed to be replaced. I was told that the part was under warranty but that the labor warranty has expired and the labor to replace the fan motor would be $480. Now I researched replacing a fan motor for a condenser unit and determined that, it would take probably less than an hour to replace the fan motor so I’m left to think that Buehler is charging me $485 an hour for a technician to to replace a part that is easily accessible, and relatively simple to replace. Now of course I’m not an HVAC technician. I’m actually a registered nurse by trade, but from my research I’ve concluded that the labor charge seems to be exorbitant and I questioned whether I should pay this exorbitant fee or possibly just replace it myself. I am going to call Buetler and discuss my concerns and we’ll see what the outcome is

The person, who came and did the inspection, was terrific. Showed me pictures of issues with my unit. He contacted his supervisor and shared the pictures with her. It was such a pressure sales pitch!!! Like, Would you drive around in your car if you had a buldge on the side your tire. Etc.. etc. I told her that I was having surgery in a couple of days. She said that she could have Randy come over he can show you the different units right now. No thank you. Then how about tomorrow. We could save you $4,000 because the prices are going up the first of the year. Oh my goodness. I would not buy a unit from this company. WAY TOO MUCH PRESSURE.
A/C went out at my home. Called to have service technician see what the issue was. Findings were the system was 29 years old and that due to wiring they would not operate. Recommended new A/C system of course. I went home opened up the A/C and reason it was inoperable was because twist cap on wires had broken creating faulty contact between the wires. How did we not find this issue is besides considering I have no A/C experience whatsoever.

Our furnace had stopped working for about a week. When the crew came in to fix it, they only took about five hours to replace the furnace and install a new air conditioner. I was very impressed with how thorough they were.
I got a water heater from Home Depot and asked for installation and Beutler Co. Rep. came and their price is outrage these people bunch of scam artists pray on people when they are desperate , charging $1600.00 just to install a water heater and when i asked them how many hours it takes the rep. said 3 hours and i asked how much is the charge per hour he mentioned we charge per job not hour , 1600.00 for 3 hr job , a Doctor office visit is the most 300.00 a lawyer charge 350.00/hr . don't trust this people and i don't know if Home Depot know these Co. is ripping people off.

We've made an appointment through Home Depot. Upon confirming the appointment both via phone and text message, nobody showed up. The worst part is after calling Beutler, they said it was my fault, stating that they couldn't get a hold of me and they've sent the technician somewhere else. Worst customer service, my money will be going to a company that cares.

We recently had an issue with our HVAC, keeping our house cool. Chris A, the HVAC tech, took the extra effort to fully diagnose the issue with our HVAC and fix the problem. Chris also took the time to explain each step along the way in both the diagnosis and repair. Since the problem cause was a warranty issue, it was no charge for us. UODATE: I did reach out to Ray who never responded. I called your corporate office and they were the same as the service rep., Fidel. Again you have been such a big disappointment. I will NEVER recommend or use BEUTLER.My landlord made an appt. for my AC because it is not working properly. The Appt. was for 7/2/2019, between 3&6. No one ever showed up so I called Beutler , spoke with Sharon. She informed me the technician called 3 times before trying to come and no one answered. I informed her, she was calling the landlord, I do not know why he did not answer but I have been waiting all day. She rescheduled for the 7/3/2019, between 2 & 4. She took my number and said they would call before arriving. The landlord was informed by Beutler and myself. It was fine with him. On 6/3 , the technician arrived. I texted the landlord once, & called him twice to let him know the technician was here. He never responded. My husband had to physically go to his residence to get him twice before he came to talk to your technician, as Fidel waited for payment and discussion of the problem. Fidel said it could not be repaired. It needed to be replaced. This was the second AC company that has said that. I ask Fidel if he could give me something saying this as the landlord is refusing to replace it. Fidel said only if I paid him the $89.00 that was due for the service. I explained the landlord made the appt., and he would pay him which he did. My issue is, my landlord refuses to replace the AC. I need to take him to court and I can not even get something saying you came out and it can not be repaired, because I personally did not pay the bill. The landlord will not give me a copy and I have nothing to prove in court someone came out at all. He is saying that I never answered his calls the first day they were supposed to arrive. Even though they never called me, they only had his number. I find it hard to believe that because I personally did not pay the bill, I can not have a copy of the report, and or bill for the service so that I may go forward in getting my AC replaced. I guess money DOES talk. Just my opinion, but it would have been no sweat off his back to give me a copy of what he gave the landlord since I am the one living here.

Our HVAC system was 25 years old and we needed to get it inspected before winter to make sure it was good to go...good thing we had Beutler come out and inspect and test it because various components had already begun to fail and others (like both fans) we on the way out and the heat exchanger looked bad (which was confirmed cracked after installing the new unit). The whole team, service inspector, bid salesman and install team were all very courteous and all performed exactly what I would expect from a topnotch company.

The ONLY good thing about your company is Isaac Pasine the service technician who was able to fix my a/c. I was not going to write a review, but when I received a call today cancelling my tune up appointment that was made three months ago because of emergency problems I needed to share my issues with your company. I also had emergency issues this summer and they were not handled as an emergency. I called another company and they fixed the problem the very next day. The unit was installed by your company that is why I called you first. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE YOUR COMPANY!!!!

My Central Air Conditioning wasn't getting cold enough Beutler send a service man out to evaluate my system for $85. The result was my ac fluids in spec and compressor drawing a little to much current and the evaporator was dirty but after he left I checked myself in the Attic and the Evap door was never opened you can tell by the tape....he lied. Hired another company today and they checked fluids and found my return line form the compressor is colder than my sent line that there is blockage in the evaporator...all Beutler wanted to sell me is cleaning services and try to sell me another unit because mine is 12yrs old....be careful they are trying to sell you something not find the root cause or fix because I told the guy something is not right it was 80deg outside and I said if I put the thermostat on 72 deg it should go there but the tech said it was just fine I have a bad thermostat.

I had been thinking about replacing my old Air Conditioning and Heating units for a few years. Then I was at Home Depot, and spoke with a representative and made an appointment with a Comfort Advisor. Mr. Ron Eggers arrived on time and we talked. He was very friendly and a good listener. He did his review of my home needs then provided options and recommended the size of a unit. I let him know that I was on Disability and had a limited budget. He then provided me with different financial options. I decided which would work for me. The unit were installed the next day with Pedro and Andre being the Service Technicians. They were very professional in talking with me and in assuring that they would take the precautions of not littering my carpet with any removal of my old unit and installing the new unit. I had a medical appointment while they were installing and they assured me that my house would be safe while I was gone. They were very friendly and informative in answering any questions I had. Ron also showed up when the technicians arrived that morning. I also appreciated that Ron followed up with me a couple of days later after the installation was complete. At this point I feel I have made the right choice in choosing Beutler AC & Plumbing Company.

Beutler has done an amazing job of replacing my water heater, the furnace and the AC. Jared Banks and Vladimir came yesterday to install the water heater. Both guys did a fantastic job! This is the 2nd day that Mohammad Akhtari, Noor Akhtari & Arif Mahboobi are here to finish up installing the AC & the furnace. I commend all Beutler workers for their courtesy, dedication and diligence in performing all the necessary work to get this project completed. I was given regular updates by Mohammad all throughout the day—this was awesome! Update from below post: Shortly after leaving the below review, I received a call from Beulter stating they had an opening rom 2-4 pm on the day they canceled on me. I figured I would give them another chance to get the job done since they were the company that installed the unit and I already took the day off work. The tech arrived on time, did the service I requested, tried to up sell me a couple items, I'm guessing from management pressure. Tech stated my 3 year old system needed 1 pound of refrigerant. I said ok but shouldn't closed systems not need to be refilled unless there is a leak. Got a story to which I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I ran new thermostat wire due to only having a 5-wire run and the fan never worked on its own after they installed it, and the tech charged me to 1-hr labor to rewire the thermostat. OK no choice i guess. I joined their repair program due to it getting me a 20% or so discount on todays check up and service. The club gets me 3 more system check up and cleaning for the next year. Total out the door cost was over $400 which does include the next 3 check ups. Original quote for today's check up was $59. Feeling a little ripped off but will see how the next visits go. I will say the A/C is working great and feels colder since the tech left.——————————————————————————They installed a heat pump for me 3 years ago and it went very good then. Prompt service, always answered the phone. I set up a routine service appt. and they canceled on me less than 24 hrs before they were supposed to arrive. I took the day off work to be home for them. When I called back, they told me they could not fit me in for another Month. Very frustrating customer service. I requested to speak to a manager and was told there is no manager that I could speak with and they can have one contact me back within 48 hrs. Now I need to find a better company with appropriate customer service.

Ernesto is a convincing service rep. for Beutler. He has come in the past and again today to do a maintenance check on my heating system. He has a pleasant, relatable manner. He's low-key with no pressure. Gives a full explanation of any issues he finds and I am able to trust what he says. I highly recommend him.
This is what I expect as a customer, a service technician that knows his job! A no B/S technician who can diagnose the problem, and repair it without trying to sell you a new system that would be extremely, expensive! He was pleasant, easy to talk to! and explain the problem with your AC unit explain the cost, and repair the system.

Thomas was very thorough with his diagnosing my air conditioner problem. He tried to get the unit fixed, but had to order a new compressor. He did a very good job on a very hot day.
The guy who installed our sink,faucet, and garbage disposal was thoural and did a great job..we are very happy with the service..

These types of problems are not understood by the average homeowner, and it’s easy to be taken advantage of and you often aren’t even aware of it. I had service call for my AC on July 14th 2022. I was told that get a call on Friday the 15th with the part information and the price. After not hearing from the service technician called back on July 20th in was told he would be given me a call later that day. It's July 23rd and I still haven't received a call or the pricing for my repairs.
I purchased an entire HVAC system from them just over 2 years ago, already broke down 3 times and I even paid for a yearly maintenance so it wouldn't break down on the first HOT day. no luck! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! they DO NOT STAND behind their work or product!!! They told me to take up product quality with the vendor of the equipment! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE and I thought being backed by HOME DEPOT it would be better.. it was NOT!. I will never use Beutler for anything anymore. I got another plumber to fix he took 10 minutes and it was done! and it was a part from their NEWLY installed unit.. sad..
Outstanding experience with Beutler, experts put our minds at ease with detailed explanations of our options, honest recommendations and flexible timeline for the job to be done. The installation professionals had the same level of respect and knowledge, with an excellent job done in a short period of time. House now cools and heats 10x better than previously with lower fixed costs.

I had Jared come and replace my water heater. Not only did he do his job but he gave me good insight about some plumbing I had done from a previous company and how it needed to be improved. Super friendly and helpful. There is a new manager Nick who then also came by to check on the work and make sure I was pleased with the service. I have saved the phone numbers for these guys and definitely plan to use them again.

Intentionally made my heater inoperable and told me I need a whole new system. I had another company come out for a second opinion and they told me whoever came to look at it last sabotaged the unit. New company had it working in an hour.
The tech, Roy, showed up within the timeframe given, diagnosed and repaired the problem, and performed a safety check of the system in a timely manner.

Installed hvac split system. I thought rather expensive. Installation took some time. Dwayn the installer did a very good job under difficult weather. The follow up was mishandled. An opening was left in my basement. Contacted by Dave to make appointment and was told be here 10 to 12 then found out it was 10-2. Waited Bobby was here at 2 pm. He was not aware of situation and did not have necessary info or material to repair. He did the best he could and was very apologetic and said he would come back as soon as possible. He was a very good representative of Beuler.

My original review is below but I am adding this update and reducing my rating to one star. Terri W. at their office has so far been next to incompetent. She has not completed submission of my SMUD rebate paperwork. It has been 5 MONTHS since my install was completed. She also did not send me my paperwork for the water heater portion of my project and my city inspection was late.I needed a new HVAC and water heater and started shopping. Beutler beat the price I was offered by the other company in my area by almost 15% because of their connection to Home Depot. John S. helped me get everything picked out, outlined all the work to be done, all costs, and set me up with an install as soon as possible. The other company wouldn't come out until the next week. He's been pleasant to work with. I have an old home and the install had a few bumps, but nothing extreme or out of the ordinary. I ended up with even better equipment than I ordered due to some stock issues with the supplier and it didn't cost me an extra dime.They took care of me on the project but have screwed everything else up since. Buyer beware.

Air conditioner needed repair. Serviceman came on time, in fact 10 minutes early. $89 charge to show up. Determined the compressor wasn’t starting. Put in a booster part. The part is $43 on Amazon. He charged $399 . Total cost of the repair was $488 for a 20 minute repair. Very costly service. I would try another service company.Two weeks later it broke again, I had the complete unit replaced by Clarke & Rush. I wasted the $488.Buetler should have diagnosed that my unit needed to be replaced. I would NEVER use or recommend this company to anyone.

After the power outage on Friday, my a/c wouldn't come back on. After checking the circuit breakers, etc. I called Beutler thinking they were local. They advertise 24/7 emergency service. No one answered the emergency number until 1 hour after opening on Saturday morning. I was so disappointed, but signed up for an appointment from 2-6. No one showed, no one called. When I called and someone finally answered they said they could come out on Monday afternoon. Not acceptable, especially since I explained it was 91° in the house without a/c and my 87 year old mother was uncomfortable. Never again!

On Sa 08/15/15, Ernesto M. from Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing based in Woodland, CA arrived to complete a diagnostic check of our AC unit. Little did we know of our dancing fan, corroded Kick Start mechanism, and low R-22 refrigerant. Ernesto M. explained each issue and visually pointed out each concern. With peace of mind, we approved all his urgent recommendations to get our AC unit to functionality days before a weekend of out-of-town guests at our home. Ernesto M. did SO RIGHT by us that we agreed to the Beutler Annual Service Plan (which resulted in additional $avings). Ernesto M. stood by his work and his company and our home benefited from their quality and integrity.

Just laid out all the facts of repair versus replace for our HVAC system, and broke down all the parts and what they would cost if we chose the repair route. Water leaked on to Furnace after first rain . That has been fixed. Technician still has to come back to fix large gap where hose comes into the house from the wall from the AC.Hopefully it will pass inspection then.

The lack of professionalism we have received from Beutler is overwhelming. We were given a quote and agreed on a unit and installation of a new ac unit. When the day of installation came and no one showed up I reached out to learn they didn't have the unit we agreed on in stock... and no one bothered to call and tell us. So they were supposed to come today to install a different unit (different brand and model that we are never sent info on even though we were told by Teri she would get the info to us). Well, this morning came around and we received a call from the employee who was, I'm assuming, going to do the installation. He said, did Brian (the salesperson) tell you about the scratch and dent on the unit? Nope! He sure didn't. Not only was there scratch and dent but the coil was completely busted so it wasn't able to be installed. My husband spoke with Brian who said we would be contacted today after they looked into some other units around noon. 2pm and no calls and when we call him we're sent to vm and no return call. Needless to say we will no longer be doing business with them and are stuck with no AC and 90 degrees inside our home and a week behind trying to get a new ac when everyone is booked a week or more out. Totally unprofessional and absolutely disappointing service from Beutler
Chris from Beutler is a very knowledgeable professional. He was patient to explain what the problem was, and how he planned to fixed it. He also provided other options for remediation. It was a great experience to have him service the unit.

We worked with the Beutler Salesperson on a Monday morning and the installation crew arrived that same afternoon! They worked until 10:00pm that night and were courteous, clean, and friendly. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them for your AC and Heating needs.Update: we used Beutler for our annual check-up. I have never seen a more thorough inspection of the entire system. Very professional, clean, and thorough.

The technicians were both so nice and didn't go over my head with technical details when describing the repairs needed to my plumbing system. They also offered me multiple approaches to tackling the repairs I needed to ensure I approached them in the most cost-efficient way possible. 100% would hire these guys again.
Technician doesn't speak English, or barely. I need water softener replacement, he knows only water tank . He has no recommendations, don't know the price.
My highest appreciation to Chris. My previous service appointment had been cancelled again. Heat emergencies. Chris made an extra effort to service this customer and was excellant. Explained what he was doing, was freindly and thorough. Great job!

Andrew Galvan was the technician who came to my house to perform an annual cleaning/inspection on our A/C and heater unit. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the system, and I was very impressed with his overall A/C and electronics knowledge. While he was working on our system, he got a call from another tech to help them understand the issue they were facing, so I can testify that his colleagues think highly of his knowledge. He was also very courteous and respectful in our house, being careful not to damage anything or track dirt. If you call Beutler, make sure you ask for Andrew!

Fidel was upfront and honest with me with his consultation. (I double checked with others and they came to the conlusion) He listened to my concern and thoroughly inspected my unit. Instead of putting on a part I didn't need, he found that my coiling was just tangled. He saved me thousands just by thoroughly inspecting. He has reaffirmed my confidence in Buetler. And when I need a replacement, I will call them first.

Aldrin C was even early but confirmed with an appropriate call prior to new time. He was friendly and took to the service of our A/C unit after learning the access areas. He gave us a detailed report before he left. He pointed out and showed us some areas he found before closing up the unit.Everything has been working very well since he left. We were very pleased with his attention to detail and friendly responses to our questions.He called in to the office about my request that he put back in our old Beutler thermostats because they were easier to read than the newer ones we have. He was told it would cost $95 each to hook them back up. I declined the additional cost of $190.(Minus one star for this gouge offer and this does not reflect on the rep) We would have been glad to pay a more modest amount for his time. Overall we were pleased with the service rep.
Great job, on time and very professional. I was so lucky to get Roy to fix my A/C..... he was the same tech who came out the last time, six years ago. He sure understands electronics and was able to walk me thru the problem. I will not hesitate to call them again!

Beutler was able to schedule our exams and estimates late into the night. My parents had a leak in their bedroom ceiling coming from their HVAC at 11:30pm. We frantically looked around for places open 24/7 and found Beutler. They scheduled us for 8:00 am and Alex came right away. He walked my parents through what he believed would beed to be repaired. He was very professional and thorough. Another technician, Tony, came out to give the estimates. All were very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you to the whole team for your hard work!

Tech was very helpful and courteous with diagnostic check of my furnace He explained my repair needs as well as other options that I may consider .Any questions that I had he answered to the full. I was able to understand even though I have little knowledge of furnace or a.c. repair. I felt that he had my interest as a customer ahead of just making a sell for his company. I would recommend to anyone who needs repair or service to use his company.

I would highly recommend Beutler and Chris B to my family and friends when they need to have new units installed into their homes.I have also been fortunate enough to work with Roy, another Beutler technician, who handles all of the maintenance service for my furnace and air conditioner at my primary residence, and my rental home.Both of these men do excellent work, and they are very truthful about what needs to be done, and not be done. I feel no pressure to have unnecessary work done when working with either one of these men. They've been very professional and polite.Very accessible on the phone.I had to install one new air conditioning unit; and when I need to install another unit, I'll definitely go with Beutler. Roy Stamper, one of their comfort advisors is very knowledgeable and helped me through the process of buying a new unit that was right for my family.

They installed the system when the house was built. It apparently was done poorly and had a fast leak. They sent out a tech who wasn't courteous, didn't and explain the situation well (including how much it could cost), forcing me to agree to however much the coolant recharge happened to rack up to before knowing how much would be needed. Over $1000 later, I called the company to follow up on my service call just to find out the tech that came out was no longer their employee (given better information I probably would have opted to put that money toward a new system). I then paid for standard AC maintenance and again the tech that was sent out seemed like he was in a hurry and just wanted to move on. He said there was some kind of pressure issue with my HVAC (but not enough details on what I should do about it, let alone perform whatever service needed to be done). I paid extra for a house vent that they plastered their name all over but no longer actually support (their solution is to have two thermostats- the original one which you can't even get parts for anymore just to control the smart vent + a new smart thermostat that does everything else). Not a real solution (and at any time the damper system could just stop working with no replacement parts available)...About 2 years after the overly expensive coolant recharge, the compressor won't start at all. I called around and got an appointment with them first. They just called to cancel it because they're overbooked... Why book me in the first place if you can't handle the volume?Would never do business with this company again. In my experience they:1. Have shoddy workmanship.2. Have techs that want to to come and go as fast as possible.3. Don't support their products long term.4. Don't take the time to explain what's going on with your system so you can make informed decisions.5. End up overcharging for lack of service since they don't explain what's going on.6. Can't be relied upon to honor their scheduling.

This review is only for Bill Morris and not for the company. Bill came during the time period as promised. We knew we had a problem with the thermostat. Although the type I needed was not on the truck, he was able to obtain what we needed and come back shortly to do the installation. He was cordial and professional.I highly recommend this technician. I do not recommend the company however since in the past we have had multiple problems getting a technician to come out at on the date and time as promised. If you have to have someone come out, I recommend asking for Bill Morris and calling the company several days before as well as first thing in the am the day of your scheduled appointment to make sure they have the correct date and location right.
My Beutler tech showed up just a bit early - so unexpected, to have such punctual service. I am grateful and relieved to have the tune up accomplished so smoothly.

I made an appointment with them and waited a few weeks for an appointment then the night before the night before the appointment I get a call from them stating they over booked and it was going to be another month.And the customer service person was rude and did not care!!!!Very poor service and I have a lot of free time and will sit in Home Depot and let people know how poor the service is.I recommend trying someone else!!!!!!

I gave the technician my $10 off coupon and she said “I’m not with Beutler I won’t accept that.” But she had a shirt on that In fact said Beutler on it and I scheduled with them, literally had an email from Beutler saying she was on the way. She also just showed me a bunch of problems with my AC that needed service Instead of servicing them. She said “she didn’t want to break them.” so I’m not too sure what I paid for considering they were the parts that were supposed to be tuned up. They gave me a specific price and when she saw it was a discount, instead of giving me the discount she CALLED HER MANAGER FIRST TO MAKE SURE. It was just bizarre.
Marcus Grosdidier was my technician that completed our semiannual maintenance service on our home AC. He arrived on time, got right to it, was very thorough and tidy. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He did not mind being asked questions at all and answered all my questions and concerns to my satisfaction. A top notch technician. I will ask for him by name the next time I schedule any kind of system maintenance.

The customer service we received starting from our consultation was what drew us to this company. Tony and Corrina tag teamed to make us feel comfortable and made sure we made an informed decision. They were responsive and worked with us as best they could. They were able to put us on the schedule within a week and we were up and running with a new unit the same day they came out. The estimate seemed ridiculous so I had to give a hard pass. It amounted to about $600 an hour to install some bathroom sink faucets, not counting the price of the faucets themselves.I'm giving two stars because I assume they do good work, but the price makes it impossible to do business.

I had purchased a new HVAC from Beutler Air. After the installation, I had issues with water build up in the water pan. I had two technicians come and troubleshoot the issue, but it was third technician that came out for another reason that truly impressed me.Ernesto came out to take care of a separate issue, which he resolved quickly, but he noticed the build up of the water and used due diligence to resolve that issue also. The pan was not at a tilt, so the primary drain was not draining the water adequately. I would like to say, thank you to Ernesto and his due diligence in ensuring that my HVAC system is setup and working correctly.It's been a long time, since I have seen this type ownership, and pride in their work as I saw in Ernesto.

Ian arrived well within the specified window, briefed is on what he would be doing and what to expect when he finished the service. When he finished, he explained what he found and explained various options… including what we might encounter if we chose to do nothing. He showed us numerous pictures to illustrate different issues. Very professional, took care to protect our floors.
We had an issue with our thermostat. Beutler tech came out the next day. He took his time explaining what the issue was and how he could fix the problem. Was very professional. I would recommend to anyone in need.
Fidel Valdez, Senior Service Technician, made a house visit to fix our issue with the air & heating system. His service was outstanding in many ways. He diagnosed our system and took his time to explain the issues and answered all our questions very patiently. His work was top quality. Best of all, he took the time to educate us on our system. Fidel was very friendly and really enjoys his job and making sure the customer is taken care of. We will definitely request for Fidel for our future service. Thank you Fidel.

This is for the team of installers only. (Our opinion about the overall company remains to be seen, and the sales rep, Brian, TOTALLY dropped the ball). This is why the 4 stars.As for the install team though, they were great! Saturday’s crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable (Nick & co). My husband even commented how impressed he was with the foreman and his care for us, the jobsite, and his crew. Today, Monday’s crew, were also very professional, prompt, clean, and efficient (Hamid & co). Thanks guys!Had a new HVAC system installed, including switching over from gas heating to electric.
Buetler ARS was the best option to getting a new air conditioner and blower installed to replace old system. I’m grateful for their quick installation and professional staff. Problem with salesman saying we would get better airflow with new system and if we needed new air ducts they would install them , which didn’t happen. Buetler has come out twice now and will need to fix air ducts in attic. That part has been frustrating. But we are at least comfortable and it was through Home Depot. So better to go with a known trustworthy company like Buetler ARS than some small cheaper mom and pop business or we would be in trouble! I’m hoping the Home Depot salesman keeps his word.
I am writing to compliment Horachoon his maintenance service on our plumbing maintenance this morning. He did a thorough job, very courteous. and explained the complete service after completion. Poor execution, support and professionalism overall. Have several Beutler units over 15 years old and they seem far more interested in providing services and parts marked up astronomically or doing a hard sell on a new unit to save you money. Their systems are propreitary and they will not sell the parts without their service. tl/dr - avoid them

A had a heating tune up
Chris came out and did a diagnostic on our HVAC not coming on and was so professional and was able to diagnosis and fix the problem. He was also very concerned that I would have to go another day without an air conditioner that he went and got a part from another technician and repaired it on the spot this is what I call personal service. I would definitely recommend Beutler as HVAC /plumbing company and Chris for being an exceptional employee.

The Beutler team of Jason and Alfonzo conducted themselves professionally as soon as they came in the door. They were prompt, polite and extremely efficient. They unloaded the truck (with lots of equipment and other items!) in a matter of minutes, began their setup of ladders and blowers and proceeded with the task at hand. We were very impressed with the efficiency of the entire process, and especially impressed by the speedy clean-up during and after the procedure. I would recommend Beutler and our team for anyone looking for installation of the Respicaire CG!

The technician, Esteban, was fantastic! He was kind, calm and patient with me during a potentially stressful situation. He answered all my questions and showed me the AC parts and explained/ showed me where the problem was specifically. He was very professional, respectful and knowledgeable.

We had a technician over to take a look at our heating system, the fellow told us that our heating system had a valve leak, and said that our thermostat that we had just purchased and switched out, was installed wrong. After going on the roof to check our heating unit, he told us now it doesn't work at all even though it had worked semi-well previously. We gave use some HEAVILY overpriced estimates, and was very sleazy overall.He tried to charge us about $1300 just for installing a thermostat and fixing the valve leak, and proceeded to say that we may as well just get a new unit.Nonetheless, comparing other estimates to the ones Beutler gave us were shockingly lower..but hey, I'm not the technician. *shrug*

We belong to their service plan. They must have only one guy working in the Dublin area. We kept trying to schedule a maintenance in spring they rescheduled 4 times each time a month or two later. Until November so they did AC AND HEATING together. This year we started in April cancelled offered May Cancelled now offered July!!!!!Do not use them, they take your money and you never see them

They misdiagnosed my hvac not blowing any air. They said I needed new ac unit because freon is leaking from evaporator and system is 12yrs old. I called a different ac repair company and they said it just need a blower and ecm. Buehler is deceiving customers into buying new unit. Not trustworthy and not recommended to do business with. I paid $75 for bunch of b.s.

They installed roof top air conditioner( Heat pump) work great. Job did not pass inspection due to not finishing onsurrounding roof properly have been calling company to finish.job to pass inspection but it’s been going on for weeks with no answer. Hopefully corrected soon before raining and bigger problems

An AC company should be able to provide service within 24 hours especially when the AC goes out on a hot summer day. Good luck with Beutler. Be prepared to wait a week at least! Unacceptable. There are plenty of people out of work. Maybe you need more technicians.
I met a representative at Home Depot and not a moment too soon. Just purchased a house but AC wasn’t cooling and wasn’t sure if it was covered in warranty. Saw John at Antelope Rd. Home Depot on Saturday morning and received a call within two hours. I had an appointment on Tuesday morning with Ernesto. Ernesto was knowledgeable and presented the scenarios that could be happening with my AC. In the end we went with coolant replacement and I also purchased the tri-yearly service plan which is a great value. Ernesto also found a coupon for me. I would highly recommend Beutler and I look forward to doing business with them again.

Don't use this Company. They lie, are unprofessional, unresponsive and hire unqualified individuals.I had been using them for years but never again. I called many times for them to return because the Air was still not working properly. I spoke to Managers, Supervisors and was always made the promise that they will send someone. In the end, they never fixed my Air Conditioning issue. I called another company and they were able to order the part and fix it within a couple to days.
The gentleman that came out was efficient and found the problem. It was fixed and the heater is working great. No more cold mornings! Thank you!
We decided to go with Beutler even though they were more expensive than the others. Kyle B and Jacob O were both very courteous and professionals I would high recommend.

Roy came out and gave us the best experience! He was professional, respectful, and knew what he was talking about. A few hours of some hard work for him and our AC was running like a champ. He was upfront and honest about what was happening and laid out all of our options. Even gave some advice on other things we could upgrade on our home to get the best cooling possible! The gentleman that worked on our HVAC not only exemplified great customer service, but did it with a smile. Our plumber crawled under of our house in very tight and cramped areas to repair duct work. My PG&E bill was around $300 prior to his fix, then dropped down to $45 afterwards. I would say he did a phenomenal job! I'm impressed with our plumber's work and my wife and I are truly grateful!
The service was good once we finally got someone out here. We originally had an appointment with the time frame of 8 a.m. to noon and when no one showed up I called and they did not have us scheduled for an appointment so then they scheduled us for later that same day from between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and we finally had someone show up around 6:20 p.m.

I cannot say enough about the help we just received from Marcus G. Our air conditioning unit (over 20 years old) is not working, and we were looking into a brand to replace it and found Beutler on the internet. Marcus was at our home within a few hours of our call and presented us with very knowledgeable recommendations and caveats. He also provided us with financing options. On top of that, he noticed a serious leak in the water heater, and we actually decided to purchase a tankless water heater. The transaction was handled quickly and effortlessly, and we are amazed at the ease of obtaining financing through a program we didn't know about. Many thanks, Marcus!

Ernesto performed a regular maintenance service on my furnace and was very helpful in troubleshooting some issues I was having. I felt he went above and beyond his normal duties to make sure I was well informed and satisfied with my service.
Stay away from them. I called them to visit my rental home after my tenant reported a leak on a toilet. They came and look at it, and charged me $127 after using a coupon. A little expensive, but I thought hey, I have a serious company behind the fix, it is worth to have my tenant happy. They told my tenant if it ever leaks again, we will fix it for free. My tenant noticed the leak again and called them within a week. They came and argued it was a different leak... nevermind their technician who charged $127 missed it. They charged me $277 this time.... which I would have not payed ever, except this was Xmas eve and I could not do that to my tenant. This is as close to theft as it gets. When I told them how unhappy I was, all they did was said then they would not fix my problem, cuz I was an unhappy customer. Seriously, stay away from them.

Technician was on time and efficiently explained everything he was going to do for my annual heating checkup. He went right to work, changing the filters, cleaning and checking furnace components, and analyzing current condition of equipment. He reported his findings and recommendations upon completion.
Ernesto was very knowledgeable about our situation and explained in great detail what our problems were and what we needed to do to fix them. He was also very courteous. You are lucky to have such a great employee!

Was having problem with condensation on our HVAC, causing the unit to shutdown. The technician thoroughly diagnosed the system, respected our property, wore a mask, gloves, and booties. He was on time and very professional. Our system was diagnosed and repaired in about an hour. Then completely tested before he left. Very happy
He arrived on time and was very professional about his manor, appearance and readiness. Explained everything and worked efficiently. Cleaned up after and answered all my questions.

Service Technician Fedel Valdez was Key and Instramental in me getting me financed and Qualified for a water heater, Central Heat, and Central Air Condition. With out his help and determination I would not have had this opportunity. Fidel even foud a way to get in all my extra wants such as Grey equipment, extra vent, and moving the location of the thermostat to be in the hall way of my home instead of my very small dinning room. I had done some prior research on the HRV in my attic, so I talked to the technician before he came in the house, and when I mentioned it to him, he immediately told me that it was obsolete and was not serviceable or repairable, so there was no need for him to come inside and take a look. So I said thank you and he left.

First of all, D jay very pleasant honest and friendly He was also very professional. He explained everything he was doing and taught me a few things in the process. I felt he was honest and could trust what he was telling me so I felt good about his assessments.
I purchased an entire heating and AC system a few years back and spent over $16,000. I recently decided to call an independent maintenance company to just do a yearly checkup. They immediately noticed that Beutler installed the primary drain line backwards. They recommended that I call Beutler to have them redo it correctly. When Beutler came, the person that came, called his supervisor and they claim that it was done correctly. I had it verified by 2 independent experts and they both said the moment they look at it they can tell it was done incorrectly. Sound unethical to me. After spending that much money on my system I would think they would treat me better. I was wrong. Never again!
Fidel Valdez is great at his job. His demeanor was calming and not pushy when we were looking to buy a new hvac unit. He was professional, explained everything, and more importantly he was nice! Very nice.His knowledge in his field shown through, and he made the buying process very simple and comfortable.It's very reassuring knowing that there are people like Fidel hired at Beutler which will help us in the future as well.If I could I would request Fidel to handle all of our bussiness with Beutler ac&plumbing. Alex was very good. Unfortunately because the weather was cold, he couldn’t do an adequate test. However he was going to report the job as incomplete and told me Beutler was going to call to schedule another appointment. I’m still waiting for the call.
The HVAC Tech Mr. Tu was very professional and provided a high level of customer service. He took the time to inform us of the maintenance performed including taking pictures of the HVAC system and furnace. Thanks

Contacted Beutler many times. They came to my house, and never gave us the quote for a replacement system. Followup up numerous times and the help desk always said “well have someone reach out” . No followup at all. This happened on 4 separate occasions

This regards a maintenance visit under Beutler's prepaid maintenance plan. Service tech Alfonzo: personable, professional, thorough, knowledgeable, well organized; on site and working more than 90 minutes; clearly explained condition of my older system, with backup readings, pictures, and summary report for my file; no overt up-selling; very satisfactory in every respect. No complaints.

Tried to schedule twice for hvac tuneup service. Both times were scheduled. Both times ended being a no call and no show. Last time even thinking to use this company. If they cant bother to call you because they can't make it to your appointment or they cant schedule correctly, imagine what kind of shotty service you would recieve if they did decide to show up.

We had a technician come out for ac inspection and tune up. He was polite, courteous and professional however, even though our unit was running fine we were told we needed a new capacitor and it would cost $500! We ended up going elsewhere to find out the part actually cost $9 and took about 10 minutes to install. This was disappointing as I had gone with them before with no issues.

ERNESTO went out of his way to correct a problem left over from the last service appointment. He went back to his main office and returned with the needed items to correct a Deficiency. We where very pleased with his need to make things right and going out of his way to accomplish that end. Farid from Beutler came to the house to perform my air con tune-up.. He was thorough and very helpful. Did some minor repairs at no charge. Discussed my HVAC system in plain English. Asked for my vacuum and cleaned up some insulation that had dropped from the attic!

Beutler technician, Aldrin C., did a great job tuning up my HVAC unit. Very thorough.
The only problem came when heat strips for my new installed HVAC came in. Hot season for AC in full swing. The heat strip install for new HVAC was sidetracked as a maintenance issue and it was not. Brand new, never installed. Seemed to confuse the dispatch personnel and the techs. Result was two appt. Times and nobody showed up or called. Installed now when discrepancy between new install and maintenance was cleared up. Work completed on time and well done.

Had ac unit breakdown last week , called got an appointment the next day on a Saturday. Got an estimate to install new ac/ heat system and also received a portable ac unit to hold us up till installation a week out. Very professional, clean and courteous. Will be having my business from now on.. Great job from beginning till installation..

They worked quickly and quietly and did an excellent job.
They postpone and reschedule maintenance appointments continuously to the extent that your actual appointment is more than a year after the original day you agreed on. If that wasn't bad enough, it gets worse...If your HVAC system was installed by Buetler, you got a 10 year warranty on the system, but in the fine print you'll find that the warranty is only good if you have maintenance done by Buetler once a year on the system. They can basically reschedule their way out of their side of the contract, and there's nothing you can do about it.UPDATE:Same maintenance appointment was rescheduled by Buetler once again. Over a year since the original appointment. The representative I spoke with did not offer an explanation.

After 12 years of using Sacramento Beutler and after purchasing a new unit several years ago from them, I am done with Beutler. They just did it again to me and the wife. For the 3rd year now they have called and cancelled an appointment that has been scheduled for many months. I am going to find someone else in Sacramento to do our inspections.

Beutler originally replaced our HVAC system two years ago and already then provided outstanding customer service! We just had our furnace serviced and were very pleased with the friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service provided by the technician Pouya F. Glad he introduced and showed us the micro filter system, a great product that would makes sense! Definitely something we will consider for upgrading our system!04-29-2017Technician Robert S. inspected and serviced our AC System today. We were very pleased with his friendly, courteous and thorough work ethic. Thank you Robert, great job!! Thanks also for pointing out installment for Kick Start!Unfortunately had to reduce rating to 3 star. Unreliable and rude customer service. NEVER received our 2nd AC service as specified in maintenance contract. Was rescheduled multiple times, but never fulfilled commitment and appointments were cancelled short notice!!Cannot recommend buying a Service Contract, waist of money and TIME!! Would like to add: Technicians that did come out for service were always friendly and professional!

Beutler Air Conditioning and Plumbing | Sacramento CABeutler just replaced the HVAC in February of this year (2023) and upgraded the SAMRT VENT System. Beutler gave one-year unconditional performance written warranty. A company integrity is when you call them for repair service. This is where my headaches start with them. In March of this year (2023) I called to have them look at the SMART VENT system which appeared to be non-functional. No one showed up during the scheduled time. No one even called for the no-show. I waited few more hours and called the service desk again. All I was told is that to reschedule the appointment with no apologies/explanations of any sort. I asked to speak with a manager, and I was told that he will call back. After much lamenting to them Fido (their tech) showed up and assured me that SMART VENT is now fully functional. When I checked it later it was still non-functional. A few days earlier I called again to have them check out the HVAC system and, as usual, no one showed up. I am getting so sick and tired of these folks for their unprofessional behavior and their lack of concerns for their customers. I am going to file complaints with local Sacramento BBB and California State Licensing Board about their unethical warranty honoring issues.This company has bad business practices, and they have no regards about the headaches and inconvenience they are causing to their customers during the summer months. These folks are non-professional, and they are only interested in sucking you in a contract and then forget about the services. A bad bunch of folks. Since I have had nothing but trouble with service requests, I wouldn’t advise anyone to go thru what I am going thru with Beutler folks currently.

I was very disappointed that the technician, who was scheduled to come between 8am and 12pm, did not show up until 4pm. I called the office twice to get updates and both times the information I was given regarding arrival times was incorrect. Vladimir was great. This rating is by no means a reflection of the work he did.

Installer arrived on time, which is always appreciated. However, he told me the toilet wouldn’t fit before even looking at it. After confirming it did fit, he unfortunately spilled water from the toilet on an oriental rug that was on a hardwood floor. He didn’t call it to my attention so it could be promptly mitigated. The job was completed quickly and for a good value, but I don’t know if I would use your company in the future.A company representative reached out to me following installation and was very apologetic regarding the problems encountered on this job. Customer service is clearly important to them, and I suspect they will use my feedback to improve their service moving forward.

I had a hot water heater and a Hvac system recently replaced. I can't say enough about the whole staff. They were great! The rep who came to give an estimate broke down three options and clearly identified was included. The crew was able to begin work the same day. Water heater was priority for me and also for the crew. My new HVAC system was a challenge as is often the case in replacing out dated systems. They tackled it expertly. I couldn't be happier with not only the systems but the crew who installed and explained everything to me. Job well done!

We initially were sold a system that didn't fit, they test cut a 14x20 inch hole in my ceiling only for the unit not to fit. We had to switch to a high wall mount system. Then I was told by the salesman that sold me everything that they were going to upgrade me to a system I could control via WiFi and remove my wall mounted heater for the inconvenience and cost difference. He never called me back. The day after they installed my system it rained and leaked through my roof into my kitchen directly below where they installed the condenser. They responded next day. They still haven't patched the hole in my ceiling or the hole for the wall mounted heater they removed. Nobody has reached out to me about the dry wall repair.

Farid did a great job: very professional and thorough. I'd certainly welcome him back to service my equipment in the future. Too bad the service visit was spoiled by the ineptness of Beutler's scheduling.I made an appointment with them for 8:00-10:00 for a routine inspection. I confirmed the time with them TWICE. When no one showed up by 10:00, I contacted their office and was told that I was on their schedule for 2:00-4:00. I insisted on someone coming immediately, but no one showed up until 12:30.It turned out that the technician's schedule had to be changed because of an emergency, but no one at the Beutler office saw fit to call or text me to let me know. As far as they were concerned, it was perfectly fine for me to wait at my house, uninformed of any change, until they felt it was convenient for them to send someone out.This is complete incompetence on the part of their office staff and resulted in a totally wasted day for me. If you are looking for a reliable company that keeps its appointments, and notifies customers if they have to be changed, this is NOT the company you're looking for.This review is 3 stars: 5 stars for Farid's work, and zero stars for Beutler's inability to understand what scheduling means, and how valuable their customer's time is to them.
