James was on time, told me upfront what the job cost would be, and then explained step by step what he would be doing. He was careful on the flooring and cabinets, managed to clear the backed up drain and then went above and beyond by replacing a portion of pipe that was previously cut to short! Great job cleaning up and James has a friendly personality.

Yeah Chris was a very good and helpful employee he answered all my questions and try to solve problems for my situation that I had on my water heater I took the time to look at my water heater and see what would be the best thing to solve the problem and he's a good kid I know he's going to go far on your business you should have more people like that and give me an effort to come back and check the water heater and see if everything was okay 👍

No one ever likes their kitchen drain to clog. If it happens the night before Thanksgiving and you have friends coming over the next day….IT’s WORSE! After making several calls we were able to set up an immediate appointment with Rooter Hero. Jed Beltran showed up at 11:08pm and got our problem solved by 12:15am. Unbelievable service at a time we desperately needed it. An outstanding job well done by Jed!

After waiting a whole day in a half, they showed up with a small machine and offered a more expensive service. When I've used them before, and they had a bigger machine that worked fine!And charge me $49.00 service fee for a job they did not complete. 🤬

We called for service on a backed up sink and found out all the pipes in our house were old and rotted through and needed replacing. Hard news to swallow, but communication was very clear the whole time and there was no pressure for any services. The crew worked hard and were always friendly and professional, I knew we had our home in good hands. We were told to expect 5-7 days for the job and we had full water service back within 3 and total closeout in under 5 days. Would definitely recommend and use again, the transparency, quality and professionalism is worth the price.

Terrific service! Technician was able to come earlier than scheduled, unclogged the drain in about 30 mins, totally professional and personable, and the bill was more than 100 cheaper than another quote I received from a different company.Hopefully won't need a plumber anytime soon but I'll only be using Rooter Hero.

Rory was an excellent person to work with! He was extremely knowledgeable and capable of completing the job even when there were unexpected challenges with our main shutoff valve not completely cutting off the water. His knowledge and expertise was matched with friendliness and understanding that not everyone is an expert. Rory helped me understand what the challenges of this job and future jobs would be. He was even dog friendly, which was great because we have 4 dogs in the house. I will definitely be requesting him in any future plumbing needs!

Kyle arrive on time as promised and was mindful to put shoe covers. He had mask on, too. He was courteous and was helpful to explain the process. He showed me the inside of drain as he used video camera to inspect the drain. He was able to remove the blockage by pushing it down to the city mains piping. All toilets, tub, shower stall, and sinks were tested and were drawing well before he concluded the service. His lead tech ( I think Mike) was there too to give a hand with the equipment. Good team and I'm pleased with the service overall.

I hired this company to repair leak and to replace copper pipes throughout house. Lead Anthony is great! Punctual, considerate, knowledgeable, treats clients and his team members with respect. He and his team do good work. My only real complaint is when it was Anthony's days off and others were still scheduled to work they didn't show up and no one informed me that workers wouldn't be coming.

Mark is very good. He got us a hotel room since we could not use toilet for many hours. That was very kinda of him. He did a good job.

Well I really wanted to support this business, being the first time I have used them and probably the last.Jan 28 they showed up to clear my sewer line. Was told they couldn't do it but would need to bring in a hydro jetter to clear the line. This is before they put a camera to see what was in the sewer line. They came an hour later to complete the service. It took one hour to do the job, but the actual hyro jetting took less then 30 minutes.The line was flowing and then they put the camera to see the line but couldn't do it because the camera was broken..For $1, 850 dollars I thought this was a technical job being done, but all it was pressured water to clear line. For one hour work it seems outrageous. I agreed because I didn't know exactly what was all it entailed.I had to ask if they were coming back with the camera because they didn't advise me of anything. They promised to be back on Monday and I even asked more than once that for their assurance.I signed all the paperwork and told my invoice would be emailed to me quickly.Monday no invoice, no one showed up to complete the job. I wasted 8 hours waiting for them.Wednesday Feb. 2, I call and explained my situation.. They immediately sent the invoice and I was told someone who be contacting me to schedule an appointment to complete the job. I did not get contacted.Thursday Feb 3, I get and email at 8:49 stating that Rooter Hero was on their way. At 2;30 I left my home because i was tired of wasting my time.So now I have wasted 13 + hours waiting for this company, They don't appear to be concerned about me waiting. I value my time as much as I value being here for them. I'm sure if I wasted their time they would be upset.Friday Feb 4, I called back again and told the person on the phone the situation again and that I wanted someone to call me back before end of day. I explained if I didn't hear back from anyone I would start the process of having my credit card charged back due to the job not being complete. Even with that I have not heard back from anyone yet.It has now been one week.I have been the one who has contacted them in regards to the situation more than once. They should be the one's reaching out to me since it's their company, not very good business practice.I do not like to give negative reviews but they have .left me no choice.

Tech not able to clear line, disappointed but not his fault. BUT, quote from Gregory Bray to run a hydro line was $1600 and said was industry. Called 2 other places and worst case quote was $800. Let this company know and they tried to belittle me saying good luck with low rate independent company, but was actually with a larger franchise with them. In summary, if they were able to clear the line it would be fine but trying to extort money from emergency situation is deplorable.

Called Rooter Hero Plumbing Friday night around midnight and Konstantine arrived early Saturday morning. I explained my issue a clogged sink which caused a small flood in my pantry (this is where my washer are dryer is) and explained what I did to try fix it. Konstantine checked out my sink and he noticed my P-trap was installed using an accordion like thin plastic material which is a code violation. I saw this on YouTube also where the plumbers talked about handyman that claim to fix plumbing issues and use this quick fix instead of properly measuring, cutting and using PVC. What happens is the plastic easily gets clogged and the thin plastic breaks causing water damage. So when Konstantine began talking about this also I knew I could count on him to do it right. He gave me all the pricing details for doing the unclogging he explained where the clog was and how he was going to clear it and gave me the pricing to fix my P-trap if that is what I wanted to do. I decided to get my plumbing up to code because this is my home and I want things done RIGHT. Konstantine was very nice and courteous and offered to wear a mask due to COVID-19, Konstantine did an excellent job and the work is guaranteed licensed and bonded by a professional Plumber, not a handyman who Jerry rigs it so it works for right now but breaks a year later. Ive used rooter hero several times and have always been satisfied with the service. This time was exceptional! The technician manuel zamora was outstanding! Very polite and professional. Explained every step to me as he performed the service and was informative about the issue and options for permanent solutions to the issue. I was thrilled when rooter hero was able to come to my home on Sunday within a few hours of calling them. It was for a clogged kitchen sink that was backing up. JR called me to let me know when he was coming by and was right on time! He was able to to explain everything he did. JR was able to snake our pipes, about 50ft worth, to clear the clog/back up. The drain appears to work just fine now! JR also explained preventative maintenance and measures to take for the future, but he didn't pressure me into doing anything extraat that time. He said it could be done at a later time. I also appreciate JR fixing the cap on our return where he did the snaking job. I appreciate JR's honesty and workmanship. I'd definitely use Rooter Hero again for my plumbing needs!

We had the best experience. Anthony was excellent. He made sure everything was perfect, like above and beyond perfect. That is how I am so I was pleasantly surprised when Anthony dealt with my bathtub install the same way. I definitely recommend them!

The service tech showed up and inspected the drain. He ended up telling us that we needed a hydro snake that would cost 2500 or 1600. We told him we would try and gather the money and call back. We called back the next day to schedule with the tech but he never called back. We called several times but did bot receive a call back so we ended up calling a different company who came quick and unclogged our drain in 10 minutes for far less than 1600. Very disappointed with my experience with this company

I have a house of all women and we shed hair like no other!!! After buying our house, the bathtub drain began getting backed up. After several failed attempts with different drain cleaner brands, I couldn't get my drain unclogged. Thankfully for Eric, he came and saved the day. Eric also checked the conductivity of the outlet connects to my dishwasher and garbage disposal. We lessened that my outlet was good and he swapped out my garbage disposal.I highly suggest using Eric for all your plumbing needs. He's reliable, trustworthy, and will actually get the job done without suggesting other work to be done. Eric was super friendly, punctual, and easy to communicate with. We called for a sewer drain backup at 955am and requested someone for service today. At 1007am we received a text that dispatch received our request. At 1140am tech 8046, Jake Hope, sent a text that he was en route. At 145pm we called back to find out where the tech was, but they couldn’t reach him and told us dispatch would call us back. It’s 234pm now and we still haven’t heard from anyone. Horrible customer service. Would never call them again. We called to cancel but the agent didn’t care to even try to help. Doesn't even deserve one star but that’s as low as I can go.

My shower was spraying everywhere and I called to get someone out and David the plumber came out right away. David was extremely professional, friendly and got the job completed quickly. I was pleased with the service received, very nice guy!

Was told the contract price for front yard replacement was 15245.00 I asked for a military discount and the guy said yes you can get one. When the bill came the balance due was 15245.00, I asked wheres my discount. Oh it was already applied. So I find out, the contract was badly written. It should of said contract is worth 16k plus whatever, minus your military discount, EQUALS 15425.00, not happy with what was presentented to me as a estimate and the shafting I git when the bill arrived.Also was charged 825.00 for containment of site which was 4 pieces of caution tape, which when I called they did come back and finish it off. Was told I'd get a small discount from Kyle, but never received it. I'm sure there's good people in the company. But I'll never use this company again..

I had an issue with my kitchen line draining slow. I called Rooter Hero and Mike had me flowing in less than 20 minutes!

Couldn't clear the clog for the advertised price but would do it for an additional $1650.00. Then charged me $150 for showing up and trying to upsell his service. What a scam! Stay away from these HEROs

These guys ARE heros! Saved us big time. A hose burst under my sink at 6 am on a Friday right before I had to go to work and they were out here in a flash going above and beyond the call of duty and got things squared away FAST. AND they plumber was pleasant, professional and efficient!Definitely will call them again.

Bought a house first time home owner plumbing backed up in the house called this company and James came out offered his support called his supervisor and got more support these guys did what they were supposed to do and helped me and my family to be able to wash clothes and use the restroom and take a bath once again I think they did and awesome job .

Mike Caspillo came out because my sink is backing up into the master bathroom. When snaking didn’t seem to work, they complimentarily did a camera diagnosis. This house is old, but new to me. Looks like years (maybe even decades) of dumping grease down the drain. They gave me a quote for the work to be done and made sure I got the coupon for the work they currently did. They were friendly and honest.

It was on a Sunday, New Year’s Day, raining & miserable when our sewer backed up. Not a good way to spend your birthday. Other companies couldn’t get here until Tuesday but Colby with Rooter Hero was here within a couple hours. He saved the day since we only have one bathroom & it was unbelievably affordable! We will definitely use them again!

Of course my plumbing issue occurred Easter weekend! However, Rooter Hero Plumbing responded immediately, and 1 plumber (Leon) came out on Saturday and then returned on Sunday (Easter day) with Elias, his associate. There was a major blockage of the pipe running from my kitchen to the sewer (I don’t think it had ever been cleaned by the previous owners of my house) which Leon was able to clear after several hours. I could not have asked for a better person to have on the job! Thanks to everyone I spoke with at Rooter Hero, and especially to Leon! This is the company I’ll be using for any future issues I may encounter.

This year has been a leak year not leap year for me. Each time I call Rooter Hero, I get a live person who answers the phone, the technicians respond quickly. Jeremy has been to my home twice and each time, very polite, professional, and transparent about the issue. Today I called Rooter Hero around 4:30pm. I was told someone could get out to me between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. however I got a text within 10 minutes Jeremy on his way and was here by 5! He quickly found the problem and no more leak! Jeremy, Mike, Greg, James are truly HEROES!!!!!

Pete Goolsby showed up on time and was very helpful. He was knowledgeable, and candid, and got to work on the problem immediately. He also gave me a heads-up on what to tackle next regarding the plumbing, which was thoughtful of him; I wouldn't have even known what to look for if he hadn't said something. The first tech spent less than 45 minutes trying to clear the drain. Then he called for backup and said he would be there in one hour. We ended waiting almost 4 hours. I was not happy waiting 4 hours after the first tech came out. Then with less than 1 hour of camera and cleaning I got a bill of $750. They then wanted me to spend over $10,000 to clean and coat the inside of my pipes. I decided no at this time and wanted to get a second opinion. With all their discounts they only honored one coupon for 15% off. So with less than 2 hours of work I paid $637.00 even though they had coupons for free camera look and a unclog amount for $77.

Shawn was great! He was on time and took his time to explain what he was going to do to help resolve the toilet issues we were experiencing. Another colleague came out to video our pipes and determine any further issues. Again, Nathaniel was on time and explained why we were having plumbing issues and what we can do to resolve them. Unfortunately, we were unable to schedule that service at this time but will definitely have them come back out when we're ready. Their warranty is excellent 1 yr for hydro jetting and 90 day warranty to unclog our drain. Quoted $50 for camera service and to unclog kitchen sink and bathroom sink/shower, scheduled tech to come out and he immediately went to unclog drains, price comes out to $500 but wanted me to commit to a job worth 10k on the spot. Kitchen sink still clogged after he leaves even though it says kitchen drain service on invoice.Of course he calls me to argue about how without doing the 10k job I just have to deal with it and mentioned that’s why I had two other plumbers here, insinuating I was trying to avoid fixing it. Now he offers a 2500 job that will unclog my kitchen.Horrible service. If this guy is an independent contractor I wish him the best of luck. I will not support a business like this.

We had Mike C help with our sewage back-up issue. He is very responsive, knowledgeable, and patient. He takes the time to describe the problem in detail and offers suggestions/alternatives while keeping me up to date with the latest status of the repairs consistently.

We had a clogged sink that would backup when our washer was going. We couldn't use anything. I put out a request on Yelp and Rooter was first and almost instant to respond. They sent Caden out to us who was very nice and professional. He kept us informed, had good casual conversation, and everyone was overall just relaxed. We appreciate the work he did for us.

That chain was very helpful in his explanation of the anatomy of water pipe, and sewer lines, and the attendant problems that can result. I was very grateful that he could auger out some tree roots that had gotten into my mainline, and he even gave me estimates for various options should I choose any of them. At this time, I am not in position to take any further action, but I certainly will remember Roto hero when I begin routine root control management.

***** READ THIS **** I was referred to Rooter hero by another plumbing company that did not offer Hydro jettingI Contacted this company in an effort to help my 80-year-old parents that had back up flowing in their shower.They sent a technician by the name of Greg to my parents home within a half an hour. Greg even drove to Lowe’s with me and had another technician waiting there to help me buy a new toilet. Then CHRIS arrived on the scene and installed the toilet and they began investigating what was causing the issue. They found that my parents sewer line was extremely clogged and backed up and continued to Hydro flash and snake to see down into their piping. Chris crawled under my parents home and found that pipes had broken and everything was flowing under their home.Two days later they arrived and replaced all of the piping secured everything and made sure everything was flowing and functioning.The day after that the county arrived and signed off.Greg and Chris went above and beyond and I am thrilled that they were able to help me and my parents.I would give you 10 stars but 5 is the max on yelpTHANK YOU 😊

It seems like every year I have a problem with my drain getting plugged up or used yelp to locate a plumber that only others would recommend already. I chose Roto hero because they were available and flexible. They offered to come to the house and determine the problem before charging me so I know what I was getting into. Anthony did a thorough job cleaning out the drain but noticed there were some other issues. He even went under the house to determine what exactly what was going on and made for the recommendations which I appreciate. Anthony was very thorough and cleaned up after himself. I also enjoyed talking to him which is always a plus I would recommend this company and will use them again.

The first company that came out was super rude, tried to sell us another system, and never sent me a quote. Rooter Hero was the 3rd company to come out. Mike was very professional, answered all of our questions, and gave us his professional opinion on the project. The quote was similar to the 2nd company that came out, but we decided to go with Rooter Hero because of the professionalism. I signed off on the quote and within 2 hours, Mike had called and arrived to start the job. He kept me up to date on the progress, was very polite, and even offered to personally come out if we had any issues in the future. Zero Stars is what this organization deserves. When I scheduled the appointment I was clear we had the parts on hand already purchased from our regular plumber, however he was ill. I scheduled to have one shower value replaced and a Kohler faucet cartridge replaced. First I was told the technician would arrive around 2pm, he showed up at 4pm. The technician showed up without ANY boot covers which is so unprofessional. I gave him boot covers and then discussed the work to be performed. He immediately said he had no knowledge that the parts were on hand and likely the price would not change. He came back after running his estimates with a price of $800!!!$400 to replace a shower valve and $400 to replace only one cartridge in our faucet. This company is so unprofessional and clearly wants to price gauge people. BEWARE.

Amy and Troy were wonderful! They were fast, friendly, and professional—all the things you need and want from a plumbing service. It ended up being faster and cheaper than I expected. I had truly wonderful service from beginning to end and will absolutely use them again.

Bad service and no follow through. Plummer arrived and diagnosed the water heater leak for about five minutes. Took my $49 diagnosis fee. Then stated he would come back with his manager the next morning. Did not have the proper tools in van to fix leak. Plummer and manager never came nor called the next day. Rooter Zero plumming left me and my family hanging with no hot water.

I had a great first experience with Rooter Hero, and will definitely use them again if needed. I called this morning not thinking that they could even come the same day since it was a Sunday, so I was happy to hear that they could, and they could be here within a few hours. They also called to update you until the tech came. When the tech got here he was friendly, professional, and knew exactly how to solve my issues with a clogged garbage disposal pipe. My water heater was leaking excessively so I called a few businesses for help to no avail. This business was the only responsive one. They sent Kyle, a very friendly technician who answered all my questions, explained why the water heater had to be replaced and worked with such professionalism and efficiency to replace it. He discovered sewage under my home so we had to replace a section of our mainline. I’m so relieved I never have to worry about this happening again!!! They weren't able to clear sewer line but I don't blame Eric for that, however my husband rented a machine from home depot and with several attempts he did clear the line. Kinda feels like we wasted $150 plus the cost of a rental. Eric was awesome thought, super informative and professional just wish they would allow more time to try to clear line.

Tyler & Louie had to completely replace my garbage disposal as my current one was unable to be salvaged (though they did try). Tyler was very professional and knew what he was talking about, Louie was in the process of learning. Five stars for Tyler and Louie, but one star deducted because the company itself had to reschedule me (to no fault of the two gentlemen who came out to replace my disposal).

They tried to rip me off. I should have known when they wouldn't quote me a price to replace my water heater over the phone. They showed up and quoted me an outrageous price of $4800 to replace it. I asked how much the water heater was and they told me $1200 (which is also too high but not my main complaint). I asked them how they could possibly justify $3600 for labor and they said they had to make a profit. I asked how long it would take them to replace the water heater and they said it would take two people almost eight hours. Complete lie. Another plumber came and replaced it by himself in two hours.

David went above and beyond during our plumbing repair. Our drains suddenly backed up and the toilet and baths overflowed. With my mom being elderly and disabled, this was an emergency. David and his team made our crisis the priority. David diagnosed the problem with the sewer line and got the repairs underway. His crew were on site early and worked tirelessly to remove huge tree roots and replace the damaged pipe. David was calm, pleasant and personable. He was prompt to respond to our needs and questions and addressed each detail of the project, which gave us peace of mind. They accommodated us in so many ways that made the ordeal less stressful on my mom and myself, as we had enough to manage without a plumbing crisis! It’s rare to meet someone so committed to their craft, so he deserves recognition for his exceptional care of his customers. Thank you again for a job well done!

Not sure how to answer the question Did you use this business? I didn't actually use them...but I TRIED to. I made an appointment OVER a week ago online. I got a text confirmation for my appt. I arranged this appointment...on my VACATION week...so I'd be HOME for them. They called this morning, and said they'd arrive in 45 mins. Great! Then they called to say: Answer your door...the plumber is there. No there’s not?! I live in Los Angeles... they had some address I've never heard of in the San Francisco Area listed as mine.....?!?!?!?!Okay...whatever. Stuff happens. But...then they said they'd email the L.A. office to tell them to set another appointment, I thought: Uh...that's not good. How about calling the L.A. office while. I'm. on. the. phone. with. you??? 1) to make sure someone's coming to my house TODAY and 2) to make sure I won't be sitting here WAITING all day for an appointment? What if the L.A. people don’t check emails right away? I could’ve called the LA office myself… but I’d booked with the LA office in the first place. If things are already this messed up before I've even had the work done, I'd rather use someone else. I don't have confidence in this company.

Ended up with an open permit and scammed by this company. Lucky they caught us on a back week where we were stressed and had too much going on to be able to find an actual honest plumbing company. Overcharged but I recommend y'all look up Rooter Hero Lawsuit to see that this isn't new. Wouldn't be surprised if it were to happen to them again in the future.Also extremely unprofessional because when asked to explain why they were charging damn near $6k for a job other companies were quoting about $2k for they just showed us other jobs they were doing with customer names addresses and amounts owed and told us it was normal.TLDR:-Bad company with a history of dishonesty.-Will definitely overcharge you for any work done

Unfortunately I had had roots in my sewer pipe but fortunately Rooter Hero saved the day. They checked my toilets, where unfortunately a tree root had also come up! If they hadn’t, I no doubt would have had more problems down the line. Rory was great at keeping me up to date on repairs and coordinating his crew to quickly solve my problem. Thankful for the financing option and the fact that the work is guaranteed. Yeah, it stinks to have a problem, but this company does a good job communicating and fixing it.

James arrived on time at 8pm, was considerate, thorough and informative in diagnosing the problem. After getting required parts this morning, he returned as promised to fix the clog and put things back together again. Most people rely on professional help. When you are led to believe that what the pro is telling you is correct, when it is not. This is bad business.The company has a practice of having a clean out router of 75 feet. When this does not work the next step is sending a camera down. When this does not work they will then bring in a huge piece of equipment to power wash the line. Each of these steps cost substantially more than the last.I had a company come out with a100 foot router and fixed the problem within an hour.Do not be scammed.

Had a solid experience getting my water heater installed. Dude showed up quick and was done way sooner than I anticipated for a very reasonable price. I really expected to be spending more money after calling around but he beat everyone's quote.

Emergency call on a Sunday for a broken kitchen sink drain pipe. Anthony came out within half an hour of my call and assessed the situation. He would have fixed it right then and there but couldn’t get the parts needed at Home Depot and had to come back the next morning. Showed up at the time he promised the next morning and did a great job with the repair, which involved a very old rusted pipe. Clean and thorough.

We are do it ourselves types who got in over our heads with the plumbing in our old downtown Victorian house. We tried to do a fix on a Saturday afternoon, shut the water off, removed a leaking valve, then realized that we couldn't do the fix AND couldn't turn the water on until it was fixed. They got someone out Sunday morning. Kyle did a great job and fixed the issue to allow us to turn the water back on, then spent a significant amount of time trying to fix the underlying issue that caused us to turn into amateur plumbers. He wasn't able to fix it, but gave us a ton more information and confirmation that it is a serious issue. Price for both services was very reasonable, particularly considering the day and time. Would highly recommend.

Editing my 5 star review, the first service was great they arrived within days of calling. I've had another issue (upstairs bathroom leaking into the ceiling below) which they charged me ($275) to open a hole into my ceiling to find the problem. Couldn't find the problem during that visit but told me to record it when it leaks again and call back, what they charged me to open the hole would go towards fixing the issue. First service was June 27th, I called back the first time July 11th after getting the recording they requested. An appointment was supposedly booked according to their text app but no one showed nor called. I call them to ask if anyone was coming and they said the text was a mistake. So I call back yet again August 16th to ask when I would be getting an appointment, they took my information and said they'd give it to dispatch. It's now August 30th and I have still not heard anything from them.

It was a refreshing surprise to not only be able to have a service appointment today but to have a true professional come by to handle that service. I really appreciated the explanation I was given and how rapidly the service was performed.

Jarid and his crew did a very good job cleaning an 85 year old sewer line and installing 75 feet of cure-in-place pipe. They got the job done in one long day, cleaned up, and permitted two days later.

Gregory Bray came out to my home to see if he could light my pilot because I had no hot water. he said my water heater was not fixable and give me an estimate for a new water heater. I am in a senior mobile home park and I am 65 yrs old. My estimate was given to me on a piece of note paper. It was $8,500.00. He told me I would have to decide right now because he turned off my water and was unable to turn on even my cold water until the new water heater was installed. He told me my hot water cabinet was rotten and needed to be rebuilt and he needed a couple of men to help him carry the tankless water heater. I asked him how much for a regular water heater without rebuilding the closet. He estimated $3500.00. I became very upset he was blackmailing me and wouldn't turn my cold water back on and he eventually said he would turn it on. My neighbor came by later with a referral to an independent plumber who installed one for me for under $1,000.00. I bet this will be deleted.

This is a preditory company for elderly. After speaking to an expert about the job that was done, this company replaced about 20k more of work than what should have been done. What was a 30k job was upsold into a 50k job. DO NOT USE AND AVOID, CHECK BBB ON COMPLAINTS.

Literally within five minutes of submitting my online inquiry I was called after hours to dispatch my man Rory! He introduced himself, had a great sense of humor, took his shoes off at the door and fixed my toilet drain in no time! He went above and beyond to tighten the base of my toilet too! Super cheap service for a 9pm call; and left his card for further assistance! Top notch fella and skills!

There was a lot of grease and hair in the pipe that they showed. They did a hydro jet and cleared the line. Very happy with their promptness and courtesy. But extremely disappointed with being charged so much when the problem wasn’t as severe as they made it out to be. They should have adjusted the charge when they realized the clog was in a small area vs throughout the drain. It was an expensive lesson and we won’t use them again but they did do what they said they would do.

Scheduled a Emergency Repair. Dispatcher called and said 1st Technician had to go home on Emergency. Advised that a 2nd Technician was in route. Dispatcher called back and Quoted Me based on a provided Picture that the Job would cost between $2100 & $2200 for repairs. I know what i needed and specified what i needed for repair. Was told it needed to replace all parts and that it would take a Full Day to complete. Insulting. the job was rusted broken elbow with threads needing to be removed and new Faucet.I call Area Plumber in Dublin and He responded within an hour, took his Nipple Extractor and removed broken Part and installed new Faucet within 45 minutes and Under $150. Something is not right.

Working with this company has been one of the most exasperating experience I’ve had in years. I wanted a new kitchen sink. I thought it might be difficult, because of the size and depth it had to be. The first plumber I worked with said it could be bought and installed the same day. Then he came back and said it to be ordered, and would be here the next day. He brought it the next day, left it, and said someone else would be coming to install it. The other plumber came, took out the old sink, tried to put in the new one, and found it was too small. He ordered a different one, and said it would be available the next week, and he would install it. He didn’t come the day he assured me he would; I called him, and said he was still waiting for the new sinkAnyway, after the old sink was reinstalled, there was leaking underneath. The plumber said it was because the parts in there were old. They were, but they weren’t leaking before he worked on them. He came twice to try to stop the leaking. After new parts were installed, there was still some leaking. I tried to get in touch with a manager. After I made three calls over a two-day period, someone got back to me. He lied, and said he would come to see what was going on. Three hours after the time that I said I was available, I called him to see if he was coming. I got his voicemail, and never heard from him again.After two weeks the new sink was installed. It works ok, but the dishwasher was reinstalled crooked. It sticks out on one side. The plumber would probably say it had to be that way to fit the new sink in. That might make sense, except the dishwasher fit fine with the old, same-size sink. Maybe the plumber could have done a better job it he hadn’t been on his phone most of the time, with personal calls.If you want something done right, the first time, this is definitely not to company to call.

It was late at night and my upstairs bathroom was clogged. After pouring one of those “do it yourself” toilet clog remover powder into my toilet my whole house smelled like sewer and I made the situation worse. Had loud knocking in the wall in Jan 2021. It only happened when kitchen hot was turned on and on occasion the cold. Was advised by the service tech it could be air in the water line, to which i said i don't think so. But he said the sound could definitely be due to the above problem so i paid $98 to have him flush the system.The flush didn't work. . . I also gave him a couple pics of water pipes in the attic that had a couple quick size changes in the diameter of the pipes and i asked if this could be the problem. He said he would check and get back to me . . . I followed up with him three times and no answer.. . . He just vanished. . .So basically i spent $98 for nothing.The problem turned out to be the metal brackets used to clamp the water pipes to the wall. . . the temperature change in the pipes caused the pipe to rattle against the bracket as it expanded . . . Had to figure that part out myself . . .

When I called before 7am on a Thursday morning, I had received a notification stating my technician was on the way. It was nice that when they send anyone out, they give you a first and last name of the person doing your service.Michael C arrived around 8:30am, we discussed my issue and then he got to work. He was very thorough on explaining every detail. I opted for the snake with video to check and see what the issue would be and he explained what he was seeing on the video as he was looking. He found the issue and cleared the blockage. Once he was finished he cleaned his equipment up and started discussing in detail what should be done.After he left and I decided to go along with replacing my problem(the clean out), I contacted Mike via text and he responded promptly and I had the next technician out to start working within an hour.

We called after having several main line back ups in a year. They were able to come out quickly when other plumbers couldn’t, and found that our sewer line had shifted and was restricting flow. They gave us several options and we went for a partial pipe replacement and added a sewer clean out box. They worked hard, kept the mess to a minimum and dealt with the required inspections. They were friendly, professional, and we used them to install a new toilet as well. We will definitely use them again!

$2400 for a hydro jet cleaning! then I find out that it shouldn't cost more than $400-600. Get quotes from other places - I felt pressured since it took 2 days to get them out there and my water was backed up, I was told it was my only option to get the pipes cleared. That may have been true, but the cost was way beyond what other companies charge. They also tried to sell me on replacing my plumbing at the cost of 35k or more. I have a small house, and this service cleaned out my savings. I've called over and over to contact a manager and have been told they 'don't have the authority' to transfer to a manager, that they can only email, and even then I have gotten no response. I haven't even received an invoice yet. Beyond frustrated.

Extremely quick response. They were out the same day, before the estimated time frame they gave me. The technician was friendly and professional. He checked both of the toilets at my request and made adjustments to correct the issue. The service was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Rooter Hero for any plumbing needs, and we will be using them again.

EDIT: Post unclogging, the water wouldn't turn back on and they sent someone out to take a look. They were about to charge me $7000 to replace my main water meter to fix it. I called another plumber and he turned the knob with a tad bit more force and it began to work like normal again. After the second experience, I can no longer recommend them as the service and expertise varies. If you have to call them, make sure you know what you need and don't just blindly trust them.Original Review:They do an amazing job. They're all hardworking and honest people. I called to have a kitchen drain cleared. I received a call from dispatch informing me the technician will be heading to me soon and will call me when enroute. The technician, Chris, called me in less than an hour and told me he was on his way and gave me an arrival time. Chris showed up on time, was very professional and organized. Chris came in and looked at my issue and started to get to work. Chris completed the job with a successful cleared drain and a clean workspace.

Mike came to my house within the timeframe, identified the plumbing problem, and performed service quickly. He cleaned up everything once he was done. Had them out because water was coming up in the showers and toilets…The only thing they did right was diagnose an obstruction in the main sewer line…They were very quick to sell us on their hydro jet and blast water through out pipes…$2200 and didn’t solve anything…Probably did more harm then good IMO.Had someone else out 2 days later…He found the opening to the sewer line trap in the front yard, opened it and pulled out the obstruction… problem solved for $300…There are other problems as well with our old plumbing…. but after getting an estimate of roughly $20K from Rooter Heros, we’ll be going with the other guy…Buyer beware!!!

They quoted us $25k to repipe the entire house. They created a false sense of urgency, pressuring us to finance the work with a 15-year loan so they could start the next morning. When we told them we needed more time before making such a major financial decision, they became short with us, trying to make us feel as though our plumbing was on the brink of disaster and we were acting carelessly by waiting.We got multiple other quotes and ended up getting the clog cleared and additional plumbing work done for $3k.

Our AC broke in the evening in the middle of summer. The plumber was nice and friendly and very helpful.The scheduling was a different story. It was a Saturday and I was able to schedule a same day service call. I had people coming over so I was able to get service scheduled for a few hours before they were to arrive. The service call time came and went. I called dispatch and they called a someone to come out. I received a call about 30 min after from someone saying they were 25 min away. An hour went by and still no plumber. I called dispatch again. She checked something and told me that the plumber was called off and there was no reason listed. She wanted to call another plumber but at that time I had visitors coming in a couple of minutes. We rescheduled for Monday in the morning. Again the time and came and went from the time I was told someone would be out. I called dispatch and informed them no one came over. She said she would call someone to come out right away. An hour and a half later I get call from the plumber who eventually arrived.As I said earlier, the plumber was nice and friendly and professional. I appreciated his advice and expertise.

We used RooterHero for a major sewer service (more than $5000) in my house a year ago. To start with, they are very responsive in picking calls and scheduling appointments.However I am frustrated that despite multiple requests, I have so far not received and still waiting for the following documentation: 1) Successful completion of work along with photos and explanation of the work done 2) Root Cause - what caused this issue? and 3) City Permits showing the permits received from the City of Sunnyvale showing successful completion of work within city regulations. All I have received is the invoice. They did not even pick the calls from my insurance company and I had to pay the entire amount from my pocket.In addition, we still have sewer overflow problem every 3-4 months and though RooterHero is responsive, we are disappointed with the quality of work as we expected the issue to be fixed and not occur again and again.Thanks!

Alejandro thoroughly inspected the plumbing to determine the cause of the problem. When he determined that the issue could not be fixed by snaking the line, he called for backup. Greg used his camera to do a thorough inspection and diagnose of the problem. When they were done, they explained the problem and offered to provide a quote on the repair. Because they had not actually cleared any particular clog, they offered to not charge us. They had done such a professional job that we paid them anyway

I called Hero for backed up toilet and tub in one of my properties. It was a challenge dealing with the tech, the call center and dispatch. I also asked them to schedule with tenant but kept calling me or the message did not get relayed to the next. They did come out, not sure exactly was done but then schedule to come back out days later. There was no communication as to the issue, what they performed or discovered. A few days later I got a call saying they could not clear with snaking and wanted to offer their second step which is a jet blast for $1500. I felt they were unprofessional, the techs did not do a good job explaining the issue just pushing a second step as they called it. I asked them not to return called Bonney and they came out same day $100 to snake the line, it took a few times but was cleared and they shared via camera where there is a dip and possible building point. Gave a quote to fix but also shared what is needed.

Christopher Gonzales was the Technician who helped me out of my sprinkler debacle. He knew exactly what needed to be done and before he started, he gave me an estimate of the cost the job entailed. I was very impressed with his efficiency. We just moved in to this property 2 weeks ago and the Home Inspection Report did mention that the water regulator would need to be fixed down the road but we did not expect it to happen so soon. Anyway, Chris did tell me that the water regulator was very old and it was work out thereby pushing the water pressure to 95 (regular pressure is 60) thereby causing the sprinkler to burst and this sprinkler system did not have a turn-off valve. We had to ask the City to come and turn the water off from the street so that the sprinkler would stop running. He definitely was my Hero!

I called Rooter Hero first thing in the morning after finding water under our kitchen sink. They scheuled Mario to be at my house between 1:00 and 3:00 and called at 2:00 to confirm he was on his way. He arrived on time, quickly found that the hose coupler to the faucet had cracked. He had a replacement on his truck and had the whole job done in less than an hour. The best plumbers that I have ever used!

Ormond is the absolute best!!! Rest of the staff not so much. The 4 stars that I gave are All for Ormond. Can't answer what I like about this business because it's only Ormond that fits all of those. Once his part was done nothing got done. I realize I'm not the only customer. But just do your job and don't tell me something you're not gonna do. Then to get it done (the clean up) Ormond had to come on his day off the do the clean up.

Chris was very professional and able to find the issue and repair it all in 24hrs. We had roots growing through our pipes. We had drain issues before and other plumbers would come unclog our drain and in six months we would have same issue. Our house is only 10yr old and we thought we wouldn’t have this issue. It was an expensive fix but hopefully the problem is solved. They went above and beyond to fix this for us working through the weekend. There were few more guys helping Chris. Thank you guys!

I just wanted to take a moment to let the the owner; John Akhoian, know that he has a jewel on his hands. Your employee Albaro needs to be commended as a hero, not only for me but my neighbors as well.Albaro was sent to repair my toilet. He was timely and so friendly. After his awesome repair job he made sure I didn't need anything else or had any further questions. I walked him out the door a very satisfied customer. Moments later, he came back to my door to alert me that he smelled gas in my walkway. I couldn't smell a thing but none the less I called So. Cal Gas Co. and a technician was dispatched to my home asap. Upon arrival the gas company determined I had a major gas leak. My neighbors gas lines had to be shut immediately. Due to the severely damaged gas pipes the gas company had to send out trucks with gas extracting equipment and plumbers were sent out to install new pipes the very next day. Without Albaro being so considerate, conscientious and concerned my neighborhood may not have been around much longer. I will definitely recommend your company to friends and family. My neighbors definitely know who to call. ;-)

Tyler and Louie fixed our issues.Sadly we had to call them again for the same issue and they had to change the exit of the main line charging $1,800 plus $1,200 more for taking the grease out of the kitchen pipes (we don't use grease to cook). They made the deal with my elder parents who don't speak English and used my niece as interpreter. Obviously she didn't know what she was doing. On top of that, they opened a credit account on my dad's name to make sure he paid. My dad signed of course, but wasn't aware of the credit card deal. Not happy at all. I DO NOT recommend their services.

I learned recently from South Placer Municipal Utility District that Rooter Hero did not go through the procedures recommended by SMUD to identify the placement and extent of my sewer problem, the materials used to repair, and to inspect the completed work before the repairs were covered over. SMUD workers were in front of my house looking at street drains when I talked to them about what I had Rooter Hero done to repair my sewer line. None of what they indicated to me that was needed prior to digging and before the work was completed was done by Rooter Hero. The project cost to me was far above what they estimated, but the SMUD workers said the range was typical for the type of repairs completed. Rooter Hero did NOT make financing available. I would highly recommend calling whatever public utility district you have before hiring any rooter service concerning sewage problems. You will then have a much better idea of what to ask or look for before repairs are begun. Live and learn.

My guy did a super good job he was very patient even though I was a nervous wreck he did the extra things to make my experience super great I would 100% use him again and only him or somebody he had trained personally. He even gave advice on how do you fix a couple problems that I plan on fixing myself told me the right way to do it what tools do use when he get these parts and charged me nothing for the information on a scale from 1 to 10 he gets an 87. If this guy isn’t bumped up from technician to lead in the next six months I would not be surprised if he goes somewhere else to another company who would appreciate him a little more.

RooterHero was quick by being here in about 16 hrs from time of call. Pinhole in copper pipe in our garage attic about 6ft from our water heater. James did a great quick job repairing pipe in about an hour time.Only complaint, but I agreed to it is we paid $1250 after the owner came down from $1500. Two of my neighbors had the exact (I mean identical problem with same floor plan homes) same challenge both within 24 hrs (something going on with Folsom water causing this issue) of our challenge plus a plumbing buddy in Citrus Heights said the same thing. The neighbors were charged $350 a piece. My buddy said he would charge someone $350 to $500 for the same job. So love the job, they guarantee their work, but if I was patient I would have saved $750 to $900.James was great, 5 star service. I took away 2 stars for the price we paid.

Paid to get the sewer line jetted because they stated a 75 foot snake was standard since I tried to snake the line myself and had 75ft snake. I got sold on the $1,600 hydro jet sales tactic. They did camera the line and said I would get the video, never got the video. Neighbor next door was having issues and talk to the plumber and sure enough they had a 150ft snake. They lied and upsold me. Be careful people!!

We called Rooter Hero because all of our drains were backing up. We chose this company because it is a family run business.They had to replace almost the entire pipe system under the house and under ground to the main system. In the middle of getting sewer pipe repair. The price is quite steep but I went for it after talking to Andre as he sounds very professional and the process made sense with good timing for the work - 3 days. So far the scheduled work does not look promising. The pipe cannot be located after 1.5 day of digging. The 40' single line that will be replaced is now cut in half - which to me increase vulnerability of leaks. I called the center a couple of times to get someone to call me but didn't get returned calls. The job should be done today as they promised. But I still have hope that the company will pull this through. I just want quality work and timing as promised. The price is already 2x more than what I see from other company. So, please get the work done and done well and change my impression.

I am 100% dissatisfied with my service.The first call, they sent a junior, inexperienced, unlicensed plumber who totally misdiagnosed the problem. The problem wasn't solved. The next day they sent a plumber who realized the first day was a waste of time and then sent 2 more plumbers over to replace a sump pump, charged me $ 8500 to replace knowing they had me over the barrel with no options to get a second quote and they installed a permanent sump pump that failed again. Day without water, able to go to the bathroom, shower, wash dishes and clothes. This is unethical and immoral behavior and is anything but what the CEO says is his values. Don't trust them for a second on competence of character.

Be careful with the company. I would suggest reviewing some of the feedback on BBB prior to your engagement with them just in case you see the same thing happen to you. Do not agree to any work without a second and third opinion.

Isaiah did a fine job. Had the offending drain cleared quickly. Asked him the best way to keep this from recurring, and he was very helpful. Would definitely use Rooter Hero, and Isaiah, again.

The day before thanksgiving we lost our hot water in the shower tub. I knows it wasnt the hot water heater because the sink had piping hot water. So I first met with a local plumber that came in and told me we had to replace pretty much everything that connected to the bathtub. At the cost of 6 grand. I decided to call rooter hero and spoke to mark about our problem. Mark located our problem and had the valves replaced and it only cost us a couple of hundred. He didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need, he was very friendly and professional. Rooter Hero and technician Jeremy Martinez were a perfect 10. American Legion Post #421 in Highland California was experiencing an issue with clogged sewer lines to our septic tanks. The dispatcher was on point with an ETA of Jeremy's arrival. When Jeremy arrived, he was professional and prepared to preform the required service. He did a great job clearing our sewer line quickly with no need for cleanup...extremely impressive. We were not please with the work that Rooter Hero did for us. We did not receive a written estimate, we feel we were over charge for what they did. We would not every use them again. Do not let them dig in your yard to find out what is wrong. They charge $750.00 to dig a hole then charged another $500.00 to fill the hole. Multi tech came out took 4 days to complete the work, far longer then it should have, left us with out a toilet for 5 hours.

Rooter Heroes was the only one of 5 companies I reached that could evaluate a leak in my house on the same day. Adrian was professional, extremely helpful and even advised me on recalled pipe missed on my home inspection. Also friendly with interactions with family and the dog.

I had an emergency on a Sunday. My kitchen sink was clogged and there was water everywhere. I had an AMAZING experience. From Kyle who answered the phone, to Anthony who came out and fixed the clog. They sent a text message beforehand with a photo and name of who was coming (super awesome) and kept me updated until he arrived. They didn't overcharge and were considerably cheaper (and more effective) than some other companies I called. I was having some trouble with my dishwasher leaking at the drain late at night flooding under my sink. The Rooter Hero Crew was very responsive to fix the broken water main pipe. My only disappointment (reason for 4 stars) was the pressure to replace the entire water pipe connection to the house with a new high tec pipe for big $$$ vs fixing the broken existing pipe. This process took a lot of extra time to get a quote approved adding to the time on the job.

Mark was awesome, he diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired the leak right away. He also took time to explain a lot about how the whole house is plumbed and some of the issues we might be facing with a 30+ year old house. I definitely would have Mark back to perform any additional jobs.

Jed was able to clear the root blockage from our sewer. As with most companies, he wanted to upswell and left us with estimates to do a bunch of work that range from $5k to $21k. But we were happy that the blockage was removed.

This appears to be a huge scam. The technician asked the age of our house and immediately quoted us $1,800 “coupon deal” on a normally $2,000 power clean out. He had not even looked at the sink.Then he said using a snake was a waste of time and for $50 we were happy for him to leave.Beware this is a way to scam homeowners. Please do not call them.

Zachary came to my elderly parents' Elmhurst/Med Center rental home at 11PM on a Saturday evening, just less than an hour after I placed a call, and worked his butt off assessing and fixing a clogged, deteriorating, collapsed cast iron sewer line until 2:15 am.He was thorough, honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The rental unit has 100 year old corroded cast iron pipes, and sewage was backing up into the bathtub and leaking. He woke up his colleague (Frankie, I believe), who came out within a half hour, to do a Hydro Jet procedure to clear the line so that my elderly parents had access to a toilet and sink.Zachary was very thorough, professional, and kind. He worked fast and explained everything and documented thoroughly. This guy deserves a raise!

I was in line at the Human bean on baseline road about 10 minutes ago next to this lady driving a rooter hero pickup truck. She was so incredibly rude to the poor employee who was tableting outside honking and yelling at her. She also dumped trash in the drive thru. She shouldn’t be driving a company truck acting like that. I have never used this business but I never will after seeing who represents this company.

Kyle helped respond to a whole house backup from “soft blockage”, which ended up resolving itself prior to him showing up. He was very attentive and answered every question my mom and I had and was honest about not wanting to run any unecessary tests, that would cost us money. Instead we were informed the problem zone was a rusted pipe made of cast iron that isn’t commonly seen in houses built after the 80s, needless to say he gave us a quote and advice to nullify any problems that may be reoccurring until replaced.

Josh and Joseph are so fantastic! I had another plumbing service come out before hand and the other service charged me for a camera inspection that they didn’t complete and a “flush” of the pipes. A week later the kitchen sink was completely stopped up. I called Rooter Hero and Josh and Joseph came out the same day and discussed our old pipes and how they may be deteriorated and may need a total replacement! But they did a less expensive procedure first to see if it would work and it did! Joseph was extremely helpful with suggestions and Josh solved our problem! We are so so so grateful!

Caden was very professional and transparent about what was going on. He cleared the plumbing of one side of our house. Came out a second time to clear our kitchen sink but said it needed to be hydro jetted the price would be 1450. . I told the service man it seamed a little high as last year cost me 450 per hour so he said he would snake the line again and have the office call me. I waited out back for the service tec to come back but he drove away and the office never call me till 45 min later.Very poor service. So much for a warranty??????

Brandon was extremely helpful & knowledgeable as the service technician. He was fantastic and I give him 5 stars. But the dispatch team verbally committed a discount when the actual service was more than double the cost & management was hesitant to meet me on pricing stating dispatch doesn't know what they're talking about even though they are representatives of the company. They agreed to a managers discount on the tune up but it wasn't provided on the final invoice since the tune up cost was absorbed because I proceeded with the refrigerant and cleaning service.Overall, I would work with Brandon again as a service technician, but I'm not sure about the company as a whole based on the pricing issues.

The couldn’t unclog it and then basically said that it would be super expensive to fix it and maybe have my dad (who is a plumber) come fix it.

I called around after a plumbing emergency, and home warranty was not quick to the issue. I called rooter hero and explained the issue, and they were at my house in an hour, with a variety of solutions and full estimates. Do to the job nature, I had some calls to make to my insurance and warranty to see what was covered, so I was unable to use the service quite yet. Once the problem arises again. Rooter hero will be my first call! Micah was professional, friendly, and checked up with us to make sure the problem was solved for the immediate time being.

These people came out to install a new water heater a few years ago. Fast forward to now, a licensed plumber and a real estate agent happened to look at the water heater and they both told me right away that the water heater was not installed properly and is a huge risk. Rooter Heater didn’t connect the water heater to a pipe/drain that goes outside the garage into the backyard in case the water heater started leaking. The way it’s setup right now, the garage would completely flood if there was a bad leak.I have tried contacting them stressing how urgent this matter is but they just don’t respond. I’m going to look into if the city can do something as what they did is not up to code.

I had a similar issue a year or two ago and they ran a snake outside through the sewer line and resolved it.I suggested the same thing this time and he said this time it's inside and he was sure. So we went with his recommendation and he was right.The guy who came out was very nice and professional and he cleaned up any mess, his equipment and my disgusting drain caused.

First I would like to say my service was fast, courteous, and on time. Very much appreciated. My problem came with the fact that I was quoted a $77.00 price for a simple drain cleaning. It was a laundry sink with a direct line into pipes. The tech stated when he arrived that the price would be $285.00 because he would have to remove the P trap. Seriously, it's a PVC P trap! If I was informed of this I would have removed the P trap myself before his arrival. So... removing a simple P trap is a $200.00 service?? The tech did reduce the price to $200.00 (still outrageous) after my questioning. Not being informed of this in calling for the service, I feel is riding the fine line of Bait & Switch. As a home owner, I have never been charged for this before. Please advise your customers that the removal of the P trap is such an expensive endeavor. I had an appointment with Rooter Hero 11/14/21 I was told the technician was on his way around 1pm with his picture and details - I waited and waited and finally got a call from dispatch at 2:23 advising they had to cancel and would need to reschedule for 11/15/21 between 9 and 11am. I call them at 11 as no one showed up again and I was told we are backed up. I asked for a supervisor or manager and have received no call. I understand techs run late, emergencies come up etc. but communication with customers is important as we are all busy. This is unacceptable.Completely dissatisfied. This company is unreliable and they don't even have the courtesy to call and advise they will be late or will not be making the appointment so you just sit there and waste your time.

They always do a good job with their work, and the workers are super friendly and respectful. However, after using them a few times we have noticed that they are extremely predatory in how they do business. We've probably spent at least double what we needed to because every time they come they find more and more issues that need to be fixed. They've replaced pipes and faucets for us that in retrospect, were never actually broken in the first place. Most recently, we needed just one pipe replaced that had corroded and was leaking, but yet they quoted us: $8831.90 to replace c/o, the drain line, bathroom stack, toilet flange, plus the pipe that was actually broken. All of this without a single test, inspection, or camera scope inside of the pipe to verify if any of this was actually broken. Looking back, I cringe to think how many repairs they scared us into getting that were completely based on the salesman's intuition.

Chris was very professional and courteous!! We found him to be knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We would definitely use Rooter Hero again, should the need arise! We will recommend it if someone needed it :)

Had an appt on Friday between 5-7pm so I cancel my plans and were waiting for them to call and come drain the sink pipe. Waited all night and no call no show. I received a call on Saturday morning telling me they would come out later between 5-7pm and would give me a call first. If you can't make it Friday night, it would be courteous and professional to let your customer know.

James Watson did a fantastic job repairing my busted water main pipe. He worked very hard in 109 degree heat, for 7 hours, and on a Sunday. The job was completed in a timely manner and, given what all had to be done, for a very reasonable price.When the work was completed, James even went to the store to find some soil to fill the hole, rather than filling it back up with the tree roots and gravel he had to dig out just to get to the issue. He also bought some bark the same color as mine and spread it out so nice and neat.When James Watson left, it looked like nothing ever happend. That's the way it should be. At least in my opinion.

They came out and told us we had old pipes which needed replacing with copper, said we had standing water and leaks. Gave us a $72,000 quote. Call 2 other companies which both said pipes were previously replaced and that there was no standing water and only needed a gasket replacement. They showed us pictures which ended up not even being our pipes. Both other companies had pictures that were the same but nothing like what this company showed us. Beware of this company. Read all the reviews and go to BBB website. They have many complaints and a lot are the same as ours.

We had a major blockage in 60 year old sewer system which required replacing multiple lines on a property with 6 buildings involved. The coordination between the crews was superb, and the owner of the company went out of his way to facilitate our being able to get all of the work done within our budget.

The company commericals are so terrible I change the radio channel every time. I tried to send this message in a email. Buy they don't appear to provide one. Your advertising is the worst. It's so negative and depressing. When I invite you into my car in the morning you need to have a good engery. I can not be alone in this.

It’s almost the holiday July 4th and everyone is coming over, and my toilet overflowed! I called Rooter Hero they came quickly cleared the clog at a reasonable price! Technician determined that the Garbage Disposal was leaking, and needed too be replaced. I purchased a Disposal for the tech to install while he was here at my residence. I was charged an install fee, which I have no problem with, but I was also charged a snake the line, fee for a line that was not plugged. I was not made aware of this charge before the service was performed. This service was not required, but I was charged regardless. Very poor customer service! So, my advice, don't have them do work that is NOT NEEDED just too pad the bill! UPDATE!! I'm Happy to report that I got a call from Rooter Hero, and they made me very happy by refunding the charges for the work that was not needed plus a discount on the installation charges for putting in the new Disposal. Thank you Rooter Hero!

He inspected the water heater thoroughly, as well as any other items that needed to be looked at, such as the gas line, gas shutoff valve and other piping in the house's basement. We have been struggling with a slow-draining tub/shower for months. We had someone else come and clean it over the summer (not with this company) and it nearly immediately got clogged all over again. Kyle worked on the issue this afternoon, taking a lot of care to be sure the problem was resolved and looking at our plumbing overall to be sure we aren’t looking at larger problems. He noticed some other piping issues and advised on how we could fix it until he can come back for repairs, if we’d like. He was professional, kind, prompt, and extremely communicative. Rooter Hero Joshua came the same day I called and at the time I requested.I feared there was a clog in a bathroom drain, but he spent time observing, testing and listening. He offered to do a drain cleaning if I wanted it but found, in his opinion, no need for it. I had questions about the condition of the water line into the toilets, and also questions about getting new toilets. He did not pressure me to buy, just answered my questions and gave me answers from his knowledge and experience of the products and parts of his business.Joshua was a kind, careful and cheerful worker who clearly knew his job and enjoyed it.

Mike was very professional and explained all of our options, since our home did not have a sewer line clean out. Slow sewer draining problem corrected in a few hours, video of sewer line identified major deterioration of the original sewer pipe and a root ball within the line.Sewer line was replaced and 2 way clean out installed. He did an excellent job in finding the source and fixing the problem with our sewer system. It was a clogged corroded cast iron connection installed when the house was new 30+ years ago that failed Once he explained the situation and the options available for the necessary repair, we entered into an agreement and he immediately went to work. He was such a knowledgeable and hardworking individual. He was able to replace our sewer connection and restore our service Day 1. Day 2 he returned to complete the job. Very satisfied with entire experience. Called in for a clogged toilet. Great phone rep, polite and friendly. Got a call from dispatch within 20 minutes, with an ETA of between 11:30 and 1:30. Arrived right at 11:30. i had been working on the toilet off and on for three days. Could not budge it. The technician Colby said we might have to remove toilet if he couldn't unclog it. Took him five minutes and it was done. $77 for the service. Friendly, professional. Took care of business quickly. I appreciate them not making a bigger project out of it. I will call Rooter Hero again when I am in need.

We called Rooter Hero when our kitchen sink pipes backed up, and we’re so glad we did! They arrived within an hour of my call for help. Israel was awesome and quickly assessed what was needed to fix our issue. He gave us a fair price quote and included a senior discount for my dad. Called this company out for a LEAK DETECTION REPORT. Tech went out on 8/17/22. The next day I received an estimate no leak report. I called Friday and asked for the leak report. A few days later I received a report of what he suggested should be done and what he saw BUT STILL NO REPORT ON WHAT CAUSED THE LEAK.!!! I called again to try and talk to the technician. It's now 8/25/22 and I have multiple messages, calls to get my report and talk to the tech. Still nothing!!

2022 New Year’s Morning we had a major plumbing issue. We reviewed websites and called “The Rooter Hero” because they’re web page specifically says they service Santa Barbara. However, when I called and gave the operator my address which is on the lower East Side of Santa Barbara, they advised me they DO NOT service my area. I was trying to explain their website specifically stated they did and I felt the operator abruptly stopped me and simply said they could not help me. Ok fine. THEY DON’T SERVICE SANTA BARBARA!!!!

I had a clogged drain in my bathroom that needed to be cleaned out. The clog was beyond the P trap. The technician showed up promptly and then I learned the charge for this service was not the special price advertised but rather it would be $349. It was never made clear why I didn’t qualify for the advertised price. After being unable to remove the P-trap, the technician cut the pipe going in to the wall. I believe he also damaged the pipe going up into the sink since I learned later this also could not be re-attached. After finishing running the snake, he then offered me a second quote of an additional $429 to repair the “damaged” pipe and rebuild the P-trap. At that point, I informed he was done and I would not be paying him any additional money and that I would be calling a more reliable plumbing service to come out and fix the problem. I don’t know that they’ve cleared the drain but as of right now, I’ve paid $349 and I’m worse off than before they showed up. I will now be calling another plumber out to see if they can fix this mess and I most assuredly will never make use of this company again.
