Extreme price gouging... Charged us almost $300 to install a capacitor in the unit. Capacitors run about $20-30 , I understand that they need to make money on parts and labor... But that's highway robbery, the part itself is a simple replacement.. at most 20 mins to change.$109 service call$200 to switch wires to a breaker$300 for the capacitor...Over $600 for less than 30 mins of work.

David is great! He’s done multiple jobs at our house and is always punctual, professional and his prices are reasonable. He also guarantees his work which is reassuring. Our regular plumber could not come out to unblock a drain on a Sunday afternoon due to flu in the staff. We called Roto-Rooter in desperation., and it was. Over $350 with a coupon, for what took ~10 minutes. While I understand it is emergency services, I find them excessively gouging. They throw in a video of the drain, which i did not need, and used to be an extra. Now they add it to the price.i will avoid them unless desperate.

Optimal Plumbing Solutions did a Hot Water Tank install a week early when our old unit finally failed and started leaking. From answering the phone at 7am on their main line to speaking with a tech to make sure everything was safe, the process to get the ball rolling early was easy. This was good old fashioned service! They sent their tech, Paul, with the new tank and in a short while, he had a new gas hot water heater installed and ready to go. During the installation he kept me informed and worked efficiently. This is the way it used to be done. Fair prices and straight forward on what we needed and what we didn’t, no unnecessary up sells. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Reese did excellent service on both our boiler and A/C this week. He was very thorough and found issues that needed to be addressed on both, that our previous service company had missed...he spent extra time with me, showing me how to properly drain the boiler, and understanding why it needed to be done in order to best maintain the unit. I would highly recommend Reese if you ever need service on your boiler or A/C unit..he is very knowledgable and professional! Bolton and Reese is who we will be using from now on! Many thanks!
